Reader wouldn’t even have to think about the Purge if all the Slasher girls were her girlfriend 😭

She’d be in a relationship with so many strong (sometimes supernatural) serial killers so she’d be the safest girl in the country. If anyone even thinks about killing the Reader on Purge night, their death would not be pretty. She can sleep all through the night because all her gfs are busy guarding the house or going out Purging themselves.

P.S: I can see many of them celebrating the Purge as something similar to the Fourth of July. It’s really just a relaxing vacation for them while everyone dies in the distance 😊

Thursday harvest - That is the last of the Buhl sweet corn. We've already pulled the corn plants. We replanted the larger corn plot with Fisher's Earliest sweet corn hoping for a Fall harvest. The smaller plot was planted with Swiss Chard:

Friday harvest - That squash is from a plant that we saved from being killed by a squash vine borer by dumping leaf litter and compost on top of the next leaf node above the damaged section of vine which gave the plant the nutrition & protection it needed to set down advantageous roots & survive:
