Certainly keeping busy in the meanwhile lol#But he does get /some/ screentime in the meantime at least haha#I actually injured my own ankle a while ago :P Couldn't tell you exactly when or what but it's been kinda flaring up lately#Mostly when I got for walks - doesn't have to be super long walks either which I'm not super jazzed about#But I did get an ankle compress-brace which has been good for it :) Can walk a bit more regularly!#It was mostly giving my pain away that prompted him back lol sorry Duster#I did at least power up the game to try and see which side his limp is on - it's hard to tell!#It looks like his strides are more confident/longer with his left leg but with the way his sprite mirrors sometimes but not other times#I don't know if he actually says which leg it is somewhere in the game either so I'm just projecting for now lol#I imagine it's only easier to stress out the strong side by overextending - why not both!#It's also still really fun to draw him covered in scars haha#Probably could've gone for arm hair too but it might've muddled the scars and aren't those the important part lol#And a little singy Duster/Lucky to round out :)#I imagine he has a weak voice if he tried projecting but hmm I'm not sure! #I'm so emotionally drained with Mist having these back leg problems that never go away or go away and come back#and there's no clear answer to what's going on#nothing on xrays#nothing on blood work#and he takes meds for arthritis but limps again#and he's fine then he's not again#I'm spending whatever little of savings I have to get him to a vet specialized on cats#but I'm at the end of my rope here and I'm desperate#I just want him to be okay and have a life without pain#I want to know WHAT is going on I'm fine with giving him any sort of specialized care for the rest of his life if I need to#but I need to know what's wrong and no one can figure out what's wrong with my baby#I don't know what to do anymore#rambling

our neighbours dogs (2 of them) ran off their property and attacked chico in our own driveway (not the first time theyve been aggressive) so my sister called animal control on them and when the officer knocked on their door no one answered LOL

It'll definitely come earlier. It's odd that Jayfeather invents water therapy AND gardening like he's a cat genius; i don't like spontaneous inventions like that.
He is still going to invent gardening, but it's in tandem with Poppyfrost and it comes from an old hobby they used to share as kids. So it evolves from "i love finding new plants with my best friend" to "I am comparing seeds of different plants" to "huh catmint seems to grow best in areas associated with humans-- what's that about?" To "Can we grow catmint in OUR abandoned twolegplace?" And "great starclan what else can we grow?!"
I may use it as an excuse for Willowpaw to come help out. Overall though the focus of Cinderpaw's injury episode is going to be CINDER though... but, anyway. The ridiculous "oH nO cInDeR mAy NoT bE a WaRrIoR!!!1" plot is gone so INVENTING water therapy to overcome what should be a known type of complex femur fracture will be gone lmao
