Opinion on Mark Webber being Oscar’s uncle in your baby loscar fic

Your opinion is 100% accurate. He is both an uncle and a godfather to Oscar.

Mark Webber finds out this kid is Australian when he is first adopted and makes it a goal to be his godfather. This was a non-negotiable. He bull-dozed multiple people out of the way in his attempt to be named Oscar's godfather. People in the running included: Charles, Max, Max Fewtrell, Daniel, and Sebastian. He managed to succeed in convincing both Lando and Carlos that he would be the best godfather to Oscar, and this had absolutely nothing to do with his 2 month long plan to win Oscar over.

He is a very doting uncle-toys, treats, outings, the whole nine-yards. But also very responsible since Oscar is so very small but very curious. He has found baby!Oscar to be very stubborn but also quickly figured out the solution to get him to do something is to get Logan to do it with him instead.

"Oscar, pick up your toys please." Mark stared at the mess of toy cars, all waiting to be a tripping hazard. "It's time for dinner."

"Nooooo," Oscar whined. "No dinner."

"It's 5:00pm, you have to have dinner."

"No dinner. Play."

Mark turned to the little blonde boy, who was doing his best to carry spoons to the dinner table.

'Logan is such a sweet kid,' Mark thought. 'Hopefully, his behavior will temper Oscar's stubbornness.'

"Logan," Mark called out.

"Yes." The toddler ran over.

"Would you like to help me clean up the toys? Then we can have dinner together." Mark bent down to Logan's eye level, making sure Oscar was paying attention to what he was saying to Logan.

Logan grinned and nodded enthusiastically. "I help!" Logan ran over to put the toys away in their boxes.

Before Mark could even bend down to pick up a car, Oscar quickly grabbed it and put it in the box. "I help Logan!"

In 5 minutes the floor was clean. "Good job!" Mark made a bid show of congratulating the both of them. "Logan do you want dinner now?"

"Yes, please." What a polite angel.

"And Oscar, you said you didn't want dinner. So you'll have dinner later?"

"No! I have dinner now please."

"Oh, but you said you weren't hungry?" Mark teased.

"I hungry now. I eat dinner with Logan." Before Mark could continue, Oscar dragged Logan by the hand to the bathroom so they could wash up.

Afterglow and/or Loscar detective x criminal

For you, my darling, I will answer both!

So, Afterglow is one of my favorite tropes, mafia x doctor. It's actually inspired by a bl manga of the same name. Basically, the premise of the manga is that this doctor is sent to a small town to do a residency there because of an incident back at his old hospital where he basically had like a really bad either panic attack or something happened to his patient where he basically...couldn't do his job. So his mentors at that hospital sent him down to the small town to be the general practitioner there and there he meets someone from the mob/mafia. The manga is rated 18+ but you know me, I don't do smut. But it'll be a Yuezhi fic and because it's my favorite trope, I will do it justice. Lots of angst, lots of whump, lots of tears, you know...fun times.

As for the Loscar detective x criminal au, you know I'm a sucker for opposite sides of the law/forbidden love type shit and that's basically what this fic is going to be. Logan is a detective who comes home one day from his shift to find Oscar, our criminal, beaten to hell and unconscious in front of his apartment. Logan is like...I recognize the guy and realizes that Oscar is a criminal (petty thief/cat burglar, whatever). However, being the sweetheart that Logan is, he decides to take Oscar inside and patch him up cuz he's not just gonna leave him there, he looks like shit. He knows that he should probably call the police/his department but he just can't bring himself to do it and just takes Oscar inside. He patches Oscar up and when Oscar finally comes to and realizes where he is, he freaks the fuck out until Logan assures him he's not gonna turn him in or whatever. Oscar is skeptical because...Logan's a cop, he could just be talking out of his ass and could have already called the police while he was unconscious. However, cops don't come and Oscar is surprised and Logan just smiles and is like "Don't you trust me?" and Oscar's like "No". Cuz again. Cop. Anyways. Logan lets Oscar stay until he recuperates but in the morning, Oscar is gone. Logan doesn't think anything of it and goes about his life until Oscar shows up again, hurt. Logan patches him up, asks questions, but Oscar doesn't tell him anything, and then leaves the next morning. This goes on for a while, Oscar coming to Logan whenever he's either hurt or tired or just...wants some quiet. Logan doesn't really think anything of it (I mean, he knows it's weird that a known criminal keeps..."breaking into his house" but like...he's not doing any harm) and even starts keeping like Oscar's favorite snack/tea/food or whatever in the house in case he drops by. Then one day Oscar comes by and he is scared as shit. Someone is after him and he needs Logan to protect him/do something about the people who are after him. Logan agrees but has to figure out a way to catch the criminals without ratting out Oscar...

So yeah! That's what those two fics are about. Currently trying to finish my Lestappen hero x villain + baby fic before I go back to working on Rebel Moon. But I'm excited to work on these fics...when I'm not fucking exhausted

Omg we need the Fernando Aston Martin story! It would be hilarious like just imagine George trying to convince Logan that he should drive for Mercedes but Logan doesn’t even know what he is talking about and because he practised his lines with Fernando he does not agree😂

"Logan, what's your favorite team?" George asked, his eyes laser-focused.

Unlike his father, Logan was more preoccupied with the green cap in his arms. "Aston!" He yelled, holding the cap up with the biggest smile on his face.

The response did not elicit the same effect with George sighing and Toto looking displeased, a silent "fix this". Lewis seemed quite amused at the situation, already texting Fred to get a team kit in kids size for Logan.

"No, it's Mercedes. Can you say Mercedes?" Stress evident in George's voice.

"Mercedes!" Logan smiled and pointed at the Mercedes logo in the engineer's room.

Lewis leaned over the table and asked, "Buddy, who's your favorite driver?"

Logan paused for a moment, looking up at the ceiling, his face pensive. "Alonso!"

"Ugh!" George put his head in his hands.

It was bad enough he foolishly let Fernando babysit Logan, "something something bonding with his nephew". Logan had come tottering back, happy from an exciting game of tag and lots of $200 Japanese grapes, going on and on to Shov, Marcus, and Bono about how "Aston was so fun" and their "Car is really fast" and the most egregious of all, "Aston is the best!" "Alonso is the best!"

Some of the engineers smiled while Toto's frown deepened. Lewis laughed, "Why? Why is Alonso your favorite?"

Like being asked to recite the alphabet, Logan recounted the script Fernando had him memorize, earning a fancy grape as a reward for each line he recited perfectly. "Alonso is the bestest driver in the world. He is fast, and cool, and really smart. He is better than the grid.”

Each word was slow, methodical, and said with a smile. Logan looked up expectantly at the crowd, clearly expecting a reward or praise for his perfect recitation.

“I’m going to kill Fernando!” George scowled as James Allison started to look at the upgrade package, deciding on what could be implemented for the next race that would leave Aston Martin in the dust. The others returned to their work, emboldened by a sense of either deep competition or revenge.

“Logan, come here. We’ll leave everyone to do their work” Toto called out. Logan hopped off the car and followed him, the green cap in hand. Maybe with enough treats, Logan can unlearn whatever ridiculous thing Aston Martin taught him. If Mercedes needed to fly in expensive fruit from Japan, they can write it off as a business expense.

Max Verstappen

Logan and Oscar is very chill around Max. Max gives fun uncle vibes and honestly, he’s ecstatic about being an uncle. It’s like being a parent without all the responsibility and obligations of being a parent. He’s the kind of uncle that takes them on hot laps and throws them in the air much to the chagrin of their parents.

When they both start karting, he is the most competitive guest they ever invited. Like sure the parents are competitive, but Max is there for support and pulling Logan aside to tell him it's okay to send the kid that tried hit him in practice into the barrier to "teach them a lesson".

Checo Perez

They both like him. He doesn’t interact with them a lot but if they were in need of a babysitter, Checo is on the list. He’s responsible, listens to them babble on and on because that’s what he does with Max, and remember to feed them healthy food.

Charles Leclerc

Charles is great with kid. He loves kids.

Logan likes Charles a lot. He finds Charles really funny and in turn, Charles bribes Logan with vanilla ice cream and lets him play with Leo. He also dresses Logan up in either Ferrari merch or his own stuff to take photos and mess with the others. He also bought a Ferrari stroller to take Logan and Oscar around Monaco in. He is committed to turning them into Ferrari fans because everybody is a Ferrari fan.

Oscar is a little bit difficult to get into Ferrari merch. He is devoted to papaya and will squirm as they try to put a red t-shirt on him. Charles will sometimes pick him up from Lando's and Carlos's place in Monaco just to hand out with him. He can be seen walking Leo and pushing a Ferrari stroller on his way to lunch.

Fernando Alonso

Alonso is great with kids. He has a lot of energy which freaked Logan out at first but he quickly became a favorite. Fernando will put Logan up to things to scare his parents, mainly George. He’s convinced Logan to tell his parents and their team that Aston Martin is his favorite team and went as far as to train Logan to cheer when the Aston Martin appear on screen.

Oscar finds him annoying but Alonso finds Oscar hilarious. He's onboard for the Alpine hate. He finds Oscar silence funny and likes to mess with him to get a response. Oscar's response is a frustrated yell and bats his arms at Alonso.

Lewis Hamilton

Both children are in awe and a little bit of fear. Lewis has a vibe around him that seems otherworldly and the kids recognize it. He’s very fun to be around and he gets them a lot of snacks so they are always on their best behavior around him. Logan is constantly being held by him and Lewis holds full on conversations as Logan babbles and points. Oscar is silent the entire time he is held by Lewis, thought whether it is because of anxiety or because he's naturally silent, one cannot tell.

Lance Stroll

In one word, STRESSED. This man is stressed out at the idea of taking care of children and the children are both stressed out by him and for him. If one of them cries all three of them are crying. However, when they aren’t stressed out, Lance is the one who gives the most treats. Candy, cookies, expensive fruit, whatever they want. They are most peaceful when they are sat in a circle together sharing a box of cookies.

Yuki Tsunoda

Weirded out by babies. The can't walk on their own, have to be held, eat only pureed food- Yuki is not a fan. Is one of those people who just cannot hold babies. He sort of dangles them as they wiggle around. An unpleasant situation for both of them. The children, when they were younger were not a fan of being held by him.

He does however, enjoy their company when they are older and can eat solid food. He is committed to having them try a lot of different foods and they love the fact they get different foods all the time. It's really hard to live on a diet of only British food.

Daniel Ricciardo

This man is a child at heart. The kids find him hilarious and Daniel finds them incredibly amusing. He loves messing with Oscar by showing him clips of Alpine. He drives them around in his sports cars, takes them to petting zoos, overall fun uncle vibes.

Logan loves being around him. At first, he was really shy and Daniel's outgoing-ness only seemed to spook him but he warmed up after that. Oscar also finds him very funny but is very reactive to the Alpine clips.

Valtteri Bottas

Valtteri is great with the kid. They find Valterri incredibly amusing and funny. He's also the kind of person who would throw the kids in the air and catch them.

He is closer to Logan simply because of his proximity to Mercedes and Lewis. Logan sees him as one of the fun uncles in comparison to Lewis, who is more calm and reserved.

Zhou Guanyu

Oscar and Zhou get along very well. Both are very quiet and are content just being there. When spending time with him, Oscar is silently doing his thing while Zhou does his own stuff. It's a very compatible relationship.

Logan on the other hand, requires a bit more stimuli. He's easily entertained by videos of Zhou's cat, Sweetcorn. Logan loves animals put he can't have his own pet with al the traveling and they don't visit the UK a lot so Logan is very excited to see Zhou's cat, who is absolutely adorable.

***I am grouping them together since the response is very similar. I also find them to be much mellower people (with the exception of Alpine).

Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen

Both of the kids interact very little with the Haas drivers. Both the drivers are also responsible parents so they interaction that they have had are always positive.

Logan has been mistaken to be their kid before. He's a blonde and green-eyed, he looks more like one of the Haas kids then Alex and George's.

Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly

Oscar is not a fan of both of them due to them being Alpine drivers. If they come to Oscar in non-Alpine clothes Oscar is fairly chill but since they are usually wearing their team kit, Oscar goes into a full-blown meltdown. We're talking screaming, crying, hiding behind Andrea and Zak as if the Alpine is going to come alive and eat him.

Logan doesn't interact with the drivers outside races and a majority of the time, his interactions are heavily influenced by Oscar's freak out. Oscar, in all his protectiveness, will not let Logan be near them lest his best friend be harmed.

Logan's one interaction outside of the paddock and without Logan was when Alex was invited to a Redbull event with the current and former drivers. George had refused to go on principle seeing as he called them out for their treatment of Alex and the fact he raced for one of their rivals. Logan was sat next to Pierre at the dinner where he was fed different types of cheeses the whole time because they wanted to his reactions. He also found out he is not a big fan of chevre cheese.

Love the new headcanons for the Baby!Loscar au!! Though the second Logan and Oscar start walking they are going to need leashes or they're going to runaway to find their best friend and get lost in the paddock

They will absolutely be leash kids. Kids are curious by nature and they want to explore the world around them with no understanding of consequences. Sure, some may frown upon it saying children aren’t dogs but they are people who have never had a child run into the direction of an oncoming vehicle.

Logan and Oscar are adventurous and bold, which is great for karting. It is not great for their parents’ blood pressure. There is a limit of how many times Oscar or Logan can book it out of hospitality before someone puts their foot down. Learning how to walk is one thing but walking and being able to open the doors of their rooms and playpens is another.

At the first the parents frowned upon it with Carlos and George saying their children were not dogs. That sentiment quickly changed when Logan booked it across the parking lot and almost gets hit by Toto’s Mercedes. Now since it was a parking lot, the car speed tends to be slower but that did not help anyone’s blood pressure that day.

So Logan and Oscar get little leash backpacks, bear and koala respectively. Logan tries to fight it like all toddlers do, kicking, yelling, rolling on the ground but his parent’s will not budge. He does give up, and relents to bring on a leash. No matter how cutely Logan begs and clings, neither James nor Toto or Jenson will free him from it.

Oscar does not kick or scream but he will lie on the floor in protest until his parent pick him up and carry him. He also gives in once he realizes no one will take pity on him. He has tried to run to Williams a couple times but was stopped by McLaren staff and Andrea Stella who carried him back like a sack of potatoes.

The other drivers vary on levels of amusement. Alonso and Max find it hilarious, especially when the kids try to book it while attached to the leash. Lewis feels bad for the kids but he was there when Logan almost got hit by Toto’s car so he doesn’t feel that bad. Charles almost frees them a couple times because they plead with him to but is quickly stopped by others.

Logan on multiple occasions has said Kyle Kirkwood is one of his closest friends since they grew up together in Florida. Would Kyle and Logan meet in this au? and if so how? Do you think Kyle and Oscar would fight over Logan’s attention?

I am answering this on the day the news of Logan being dropped came out and I wanted to write something cute and happy.

To answer your question, YES! Those two are absolutely friends, I would never dare to separate them from each other.

I believe in an Andretti interview with Kyle, he reveals that he met Logan when he was karting in Florida. So, I can see Logan meeting Kyle around 7 years old when he goes to see a karting competition in Florida while on vacation. Logan is watching with his parents and this kid who is 2 years older than him is absolutely wiping the floor with the rest of the field. Logan goes up to congratulate him and tell him how good he was and they just hit it off. The parents exchange numbers and Logan and Kyle slowly start building a very strong friendship.

I don’t see Kyle fighting over Logan because Kyle is a good kid who understands what it means to share. Oscar, however, absolutely has a one-sides rivalry with Kyle. Oscar has had other kids befriend him and Logan but nothing as serious as Kyle’s friendship with Logan. He’s prissy, and jealous but won’t show it since it might upset Logan. He does, however, get a bit annoyed when Logan mentions going to see Kyle.

The one who would cause issues would be Colton. Colton meet Kyle when he’s young, maybe around 6 and clinging to his dad’s leg. Kyle is there to see a race and they hit it off really well. Colton sees Kyle as the super cool senior who’s nice and takes the time out of his day to say hi to him instead of treating him like a baby. This sparks a friendship and a little bit of infatuation for Kyle. It also leads to jealousy when Kyle mentions how he has a friend named Logan who lives in Monaco and his dads are race car drivers because Colton lives in California and his dad is also a race car driver- it’s practically the same thing.

Colton wants to fight Logan for the right to be Kyle’s best friend. Oscar wants to fight Kyle for the title of Logan’s best friend and Colton by extension because Colton will always jump to the defense of Kyle. Kyle and Logan are just chilling, doing their own things and chasing after fishes in the lake.

Hi! Based on this, I gotta ask, how'd Baby Oscar feel if Baby Logan made a new friend? Maybe one of the Williams or even Mercedes mechanics brought their child to one of the races and Logan got to play with another child around their age? Would Oscar welcome them too with open arms or is it not only Alpine only that he has to protect his best friend from now?

Oscar is not a sharing person. Even as a baby he preferred to play alone, only willing to play and share his toys and snacks with Logan. Logan, however, is much for amicable but very shy.

While it really depends on the age, children don't start to understand the concept of sharing until 3.5-4 years. This, of course, brings in the issue with Oscar who already has a hard time sharing his toys with kids who were not Logan, now having to share Logan. Toddlers are egocentric, they primarily care about themselves and have too slowly be taught to think of other people's feelings and perspectives. The level of egocentrism does vary. Logan is friendly to everyone, but likes Oscar the most, while Oscar, who is a very nice baby, is primarily friendly to Logan and only Logan. This is because Oscar puts serious emphasis on Logan being "my friend"

Oscar seeing Logan being friends with someone else as a shock to him because he sees it as someone taking away his friend. If you've ever seen kids on a playground saying "that's my friend! No, that's my friend, come play with me not them", that is exactly the scene that plays out. That scene usually ends with the kids fighting/yelling, they start crying, and all the adults have to come and separate them.

Oscar, is of course, scolded for being rude and how he has to share and how Logan can be friends with anyone he wants. The other kid is crying because they are very confused about what has happened. Logan is crying because he wants to play with everyone but then everyone got mad and that made him very sad.

In the moment, Oscar will get over it, apologize to the two, and they will continue to play. But this incident repeats since Oscar doesn't understand why the time he has with Logan is less now. After 8 years old, they do get better but it is rough for a while.

Reporter: I imagine you’ve seen Charles Leclercs recent attempts to adopt Oscar. Do you have any thoughts as his parents?

Lando: Very much “get your own kid”

“Uh, yeah. Charles can go and get his own kid. He just got Leo. Besides, I technically qualify as a Monaco citizen so Oscar doesn’t need Charles in order to call Monaco his home. If he wants a kid, he can adopt Logan.”

Carlos:

“Well, Oscar is not up for adoption unfortunately but Charles loves babies, so it’s only natural he wants to adopt Oscar. Besides, Oscar calls him uncle so he is already part of the family.”

Charles carrying Oscar and wearing Ferrari clothes and matching sunglasses:

“Yes, this is my child, Oscar. I know it’s seems daunting to be a single parent but I am committed to providing the best life for me and my son. Leo has already taken a liking to Oscar so I have no doubt we’ll be a happy family together.”

The Jenson ask is hilarious! Now all I can imagine is Sky Sports telling Jenson to kidnap Logan again to get George and Alex on again. Meanwhile, Jenson, who has already kidnapped Logan again, rolls up like this is my new copresenter we don't need Danica Patrick anymore Logan has better thoughts on the race. Williams is on red alert trying to find their missing baby because James doesn't check his texts during races!

Oscar now attempts to escape McLaren every time he sees Logan on the Big Face Time (TV) because one miracle escape does not mean Logan will always be safe!

Jenson is tired of Danica and decides if Sky Sports won’t give him a replacement, he’ll find one for himself. Logan is old enough to toddle around so he gets his own little space that he can play in when Jenson comes along and coaxes him outside.

Has Logan been given the whole “strange danger, don’t go off alone” talk by his parents? Yes, yes he has.

But Jenson isn’t a stranger so it’s okay and Jenson easily walks out with Logan in tow. After all, it’s not like he kidnapped him. Logan went off his own free will and with the promise of chocolate.

Jenson also shoots off a text to James saying:

Heads up!

Taking Logan for a bit. If you want him back, have Alex and George come to us. 1 interview.

You know where we're at.

James of course does not read it because he's busy being a team principal. In fact, the Williams staff are secretly running around trying to find Logan thinking he’s wandered off looking for his dads because “he knows better to wander off with strangers.” It isn’t until 15 minutes after that James is notified after Logan is confirmed to not be in the garage or hospitality. By then, Jenson has returned to where the rest of the Sky Sports team is with Logan in tow.

“Uhh, Jenson? “ One of the staff members spoke up, “We’re about to be on air soon.”

“I know! This is Logan. He’s my co-presenter for today.” Logan waved at the crew, who smiled and waved back.

"Did you ask to take him?" Nico smiled and waved back. "The last time you did this, Williams thought you kidnapped him."

"Logan wanted to follow me on his own." Jenson scoffed. "Isn't that right?"

Logan, for his part, just cheered and offered up a piece of chocolate to Natalie, who happily took it.

"On his own, huh?"

"It'll be fine."

"Isn't Danica supposed to be-" Natalie said.

"Nope, Logan's is already here. Besides, this is preparing him for the future.

"You don't even know if he wants to be a driver?"

Jenson gasped at Nico's comment. "How could you say that?"

"Don't listen to him, Logan. You can become a Williams driver. I believe in you."

"That's not-"

"And we're live!"

Oscar's eyes widened at the sight of the TV. "Lo!"

Lando looked up, having finished interviews early and returning to his driver's room. "Oh, yeah that's Logan. Looks like he's with Jenson."

Oscar watched in horror as Lando returned back to looking at the data. "No! Lo! Lo!"

Lando looked up at his son's insistent eyes. "Hey, it's okay. We're meeting them for dinner soon."

Oscar, however, did not agree with this and instead started to stumble towards the door and pull on the handle. Lando, being taller and faster, immediately jumped up and put his hand on it.

Oscar proceeds to yank at the door handle and cry. Going as far as to try and shove Lando away. "Lo!"

Alex and George were walking to find Sky Sports, especially Jenson, after receiving a screenshot of his message? Threat?

"I swear when I find him" George muttered. "How dare he kidnap my child? Logan knows better than to wander off with strangers."

"Jenson's not a stranger." Alex unhelpfully replied. "I'm sure he's fine. It's good for Logan to be around new people."

"What if he's hurt? Uncomfortable?"

"He's with Jenson. He wasn't kidnapped."

"That message read like a ransom note."

Logan was actually quite happy about participating in the interviews. He stayed silent when others were speaking and at the end, they would turn to him and ask if he had any questions to ask, to which he replied in mangled words and sounds. It didn't matter since everyone treated it as serious and the drivers even provided full answers.

"Yes, I agree with you Logan. Our strategy was obviously not the best. We will come back stronger next time."- Charles

"I agree, Logan. Hamilton definitely brake checked me. Thank you for seeing it my way. You would do great at Aston Martin." - Fernando

"Did Fernando say that? If the stewards haven't said anything, I wouldn't put too much weight on it, Logan"- Hamilton

"Oh, he's a natural." Jenson cooed as Logan received another cookie from Nico.

"Dada!" Logan cheerfully yelled out, his mouth covered with crumbs.

Alex looked almost amused at the scene but George seemed to be on the warpath. Careful not to let his collateral go, Jenson adjusted his hold on Logan. "Hey, George, Alex. Nice of you to stop by."

"Hello," Alex greeted. "And hello to you Logan. You seem to be having fun."

"Oh he is," Jenson cheerfully ignored George's stare. "He's such a good interviewer."

"Well thank you so much for joining us today, gentlemen."

"It's not like we had a choice," George muttered

For the entire five minutes, Logan watched as his dads were being interviewed on their performance on the track. Alex went along with the whole thing quite well. George, on the other hand, kept a neutral face but his eyes were firmly locked on Logan.

"Lo! Lo!" Oscar yelled out.

Logan looked up and smiled. "Osca! Osca!"

"How wonderful of you to join us Lando" Natalie greeted. "It's a reunion of the 2019 rookies."

Lando laughed. "It wasn't my intention. Oscar saw Logan on TV and begged to go."

The walk back was fairly quiet with Logan knocked out from the amount of sugar and Oscar exhausted from the tantrum he threw earlier.

"I wonder if Jenson would babysit for us." Alex joked,

"Absolutely not," George said. "Logan is going to start associating Jenson with candy and cookies. Jenson will also take it as an open invitation to just kidnap him again."

"He had a lot of fun. I'm glad." Alex said, practically ignoring George.

"I'm glad he had fun. Oscar kicked me in the shin." Lando muttered, a bit peeved at how peacefully asleep Oscar was.

I've just seen George’s latest Instagram post (his summer break dump) and omg him with a baby and I immediately thought about this AU and the babies first holidays!

Oscar would probably hate sand but would tolerate it because Logan is having fun and would they do joint holidays?

They would absolutely do joint holidays, primarily for the end of the year when everyone is free. They would probably get joint holidays once a year since the kids see each other so much and their parents are so busy that holidays are reserved for meeting extended family. They would likely go to Ibiza, the French Riviera, or the Caymans. The drivers seem to favor beaches and the open water.

Their first holiday is when Logan is 11 months old and Oscar is 7 months old and is in Ibiza, a Spanish Island, and I can absolutely see Carlos owning a home there. Oscar and Logan are ecstatic since they will be together all day. Logan also loves the water, eagerly toddling towards any body of water regardless of personal safety and attempting to jump in. This is usually stopped by George or Alex running after him and grabbing him by the back of his shirt before he can even hit the water.

Oscar loves the quiet and the fact that his family and Logan is there. He does not care for the hot sun and definitely not the sand. Logan is also not a fan of dry sand since it gets in between his toes and is overall very uncomfortable. Think of those babies that you try to make them sit on the grass and they lift their feet up so you can’t put them down. Logan, however, does not mind wet sand and is ecstatic when his parents hold him so the waves can wash over his feet. He erupts into squeals of laughter every time.

Oscar is neutral about water but he loves being around Logan so, while his parents are chilling, will book it and crawl to Logan. To Oscar, he is obviously crawling to Logan so he can play with him. To every adult on the premises, this is a baby crawling towards the ocean with no supervision. Babies are also surprisingly fast when they crawl so you see Carlos and Lando sprinting to prevent Oscar from getting taken out by a wave. Besides playing with Logan, Oscar’s favorite activity is napping while listening to the waves.

Hello! You mentioned George being a light sleeper and Logan trying to sneak out. I was just wondering if you had more on that, like is Logan sneaking out to meet Oscar at a track or is he getting caught before he can even get out to the driveway.

Do you think George and Alex are the type of parents to go looking for their kid, or the ones that stay up waiting for them in dark while he try’s to sneak back in? Does he get grounded? And if he did sneak out to see Oscar would they tell Carlos and Lando?

The first and last time he sneaks out is to meet up with Oscar to go to a party but he doesn’t make it out of the driveway. The moment he clicks the unlock button on his car keys, George is standing at the front door and telling him to come back inside. At least he fared better than Oscar who doesn’t even make it out the door because Lando is up late streaming and hears him trying to leave.

George and Alex would stay up waiting for Logan in the dark. George would want to go out looking but Alex is tired and finds waiting for Logan in his room as he tries to climb in through the window much more amusing. Logan absolutely gets grounded when he gets caught. It tracks, school, and home for him. No video games, no going out, and very limited access to his phone. He still gets to keep contact with Oscar though.

They would absolutely tell Carlos and Lando and both of them would end up grounded.

loscar baby’s first headcanons (steps, words, solid food, laugh, birthday etc)??

Of course! I have already written first step for Logan and I have Oscar's in the process. I also have a ask/snippet for first words in the process but I definitely do the others.

Solid Food- I spent so much time going through the Gerber website that my algorithm might think i have a baby.

Logan's first solid food was pureed fruit. Babies start to get solid food around 6 months old and they tend to prefer sweeter stuff, so pureed fruit is a good start. He loves pureed apples, strawberries, and bananas. His least favorite is pureed celery since they tend to be bland. He can also tell which jar is the celery based on the cap.

Oscar's first was pureed butternut squash that Carlos made himself. Oscar really enjoyed it but keeping up the energy to make your baby's food while you're traveling took a lot of energy. His least favorite is pureed peas. They're just unappetizing and Oscar refuses to eat them.

Laugh

Logan's first laugh was when he was around 6 months. Alex was playing peak-a-boo as George was filming when Logan giggled. It was the most angelic sound they had ever heard. Alex was ecstatic while George started crying about how happy he was.

Oscar's first laugh was when Oscar was 4 months old. Lando was playing with Oscar as the family was eating lunch. He was waving a toy cat with a bell on it around which would jingle everything it moved. When Lando dropped the cat, causing a flurry of jingling sounds to erupt, Oscar's laughter joined it. This spurred on Lando and Carlos is continue dropping the toy cat just so they can elicit more of Oscar's angelic laughter.

1st Birthday

Logan's first birthday took place in the UK. It was fairly small with friends and family and a couple drivers. Since Logan's birthday is the day before New Years, the weather tends to be cold so they're stuck inside. Not that Logan minds, since everyone is there to play with him and sing him happy birthday.

Oscar's 1st birthday was quite big due to their teams joining as well as the drivers and friends and family. it was celebrated in Spain since April in the UK tended to be quite cloudy. Oscar had a grand time with all the cakes and presents and especially, with Logan there. They got tired half-way through and had to take a nap.

1st time at a race

Logan was absolutely terrified during his first race. At one moment he's with his parents and the next he's back in his carrier. Logan clings desperately to his parents but to no avail. After some time, he does calm down enough to enjoy the race. He gets his own little screen to watch the race and his own headset that has his initials on the side.

Oscar was a darling at his first race up until the moment his parents had to leave. He took in all the stimuli very well including the crowd. However, once the realization set in that his parent's weren't coming, he panicked. He thought they abandoned him and it was only when Carlos was shown on camera getting out of the car did Oscar start to relax.
