1. you mentioned that the games are all played for the entertainment of others, but i wondered what you meant by that? does this mean there’s a higher organisation that watch these games for fun... or are the games broadcasted to the people of the city for their entertainment?

2. how long do these games typically last? i assumed they happen every year.. but do the teams have a set time frame to complete the game by, or are there no time restrictions + the game simply ends when there’s only one team standing?

3. do the games only consist of fighting, or are there external forces involved in tricking and endangering the players? for example.. collapsing buildings, natural disasters, acid rain? (which makes me wonder whether the games are held in a controlled arena, distant + abandoned grounds, or within the city and among the ppl)

4. shorter question! but how do people enter the games? the fighting siblings and the surrounding team members?

5. does kaia like women.. would she perhaps be interested in kissing girls.. just asking... for a friend.. 🫣🏳‍🌈..

2) the game starts once both siblings set foot into the city and ends when the first sibling dies. the losing sibling will be eaten by the entity, finishing the ritual and once it hungers again, the games will be repeated and hosted by the winning sibling. until then, they rule (usually nothing less than 10 years), having all their wishes fulfilled

1) for this, i have to babble a bit abt the story/inspiration behind it. when i first drew this story, i was 14 and inspired by a fairytale my adoptive father used to read to us every evening when we were younger. idk if the story of hansel and gretel is known to all of you (i think it should?) but its literally the story my comic used to be heavily based on until i made changes over the years n stuff.

in my comic, i mentioned a ritual and sacrifice etc. its all for a strange, demonic entity who lured the first siblings into the woods centuries ago and the games were eventually made for. the sacrifices, the deaths are all for its entertainment, the souls to feed it. in return, it nurtures, powers and protects the cursed city

3) the entire cursed city is their battlefield and there are few safe zones where theres no fighting allowed and where they can encounter each other on a neutral basis (hospital, central part/main business district, ...). other than that, its pretty much purge-style. no rules, everything is allowed

4) the siblings are chosen by the entity itself early on, destined (cursed) to find their way into the woods and the city, lured by the entity. this goes only for the siblings, the main players.

for fairness, each team has fixed, same roles where the possible players are lit raised for it (like youri. he was taken in and raised to be the "guardian" among many other orphans). all members get picked by the siblings themselves, theyre responsible for their teams quality and quantity

5) kaia doesnt like much, shes entirely driven by hatred................but to answer that, yes she does jkjsbdjk

i saw someone on twitter seriously have a go bc snc were focusing more on their social life than their professional life. like what? thats insane. they’ve worked 24/7 for the last 10 years. they deserve to enjoy themselves for a while.

and i have to laugh. people saying theyre going to stop watching snc and laugh as their careers fumble? babes, if they depended solely on yt views for income they’d be uploading far more frequently. besides, they have 12 million followers and easily bag a million views on a video in the first 24 hours. a few dozen fans boycotting them is not going to make even an ounce of difference. but hey, if it makes you feel better, all power to you. (“you” being those fans ofc). not to mention they have investments and other business endeavours outside of youtube. your online hissy fit will do jack shit. (again, “you/your” being those fans)

i think that's the thing i find so funny about this fandom. first off almost 99% of the drama is started by twitter. or at the very least they're the loudest at all times. they also think a lot of us feel the same way as them just bc it's an echo chamber over there. so when they all start calling snc out on something or think that that everyone feels the same way, they feel like they are making an impact by saying they'll leave or stop supporting if snc don't meet their demands.

and babes, if you really aren't enjoying your time here, you can go. it's fine. no one is holding a gun to your head and telling you to stay. but don't expect snc to do everything you want them to do. it's just not gonna happen.

sometimes i don't get this fandom. bc look, when i was here back in 2020/21, i got some of the backlash that the boys were facing. i understood parts of it, for sure. but there was a lot, and i do mean a lot, of extra shit that went on that made it much worse. and that side of the fandom… they cried wolf too many times. you don't get to do that repeatedly and then think that snc are gonna stick around to actually hear what you gotta say.

and especially rn, what exactly are ppl pissed off about?? bc look, you wanna say you miss when they were posting a lot more, sure. i get that. i miss them posting more often too. but you gotta also realize maybe WHY they aren't posting so much. and blaming their new gfs isn't one of those reasons.

they have explained that they basically had little to no personal life at one point, that all they were doing is working. that they didn't get to spend time with their friends or gfs bc they were working so much. sam, the man that never addresses drama, is asking fans to cool it. he full on said that he was miserable a year or so ago bc of all the stress he was under. and then colby, the man that doesn't cry ever, had a full on break down in 2022. and didn't even admit it until midway thru 2023. he doesn't read comments anymore bc they get so bad sometimes. or how about that colby even stated that he didn't even want to tell this fandom that he had cancer bc he knew how everyone would react if he went bald………. what does that tell you???? that we aren't trustworthy. that snc feel the need to pull back bc we are all toxic.

at what point do we turn the mirror on ourselves and realize hey, maybe i've taken things too far??

and reality is, a LOT of this only popped up once they both got gfs. a lot of fans say those two aren't to blame or they're not upset or they don't actually want to date snc, but at the end of the day them finding someone to love was the straw that broke the camels back. and you gotta sit back and wonder why does seeing snc happy make me upset and want to leave?? (if someone reading this is one of those fans)

bc rn, i'm more into snc than i have been in a while. i want to see them happy and healthy and enjoying life. sure, colby being in his feels (or sam even) was a fun time, sure. i love me some balcony tweets. but at the end of the day, i don't want him jaded and unable to find love again. why the fuck would i wish that on someone i love dearly??? same with sam. sure. i can joke about kat and how i want her new song to tear him a new one, but i still want him to be happy. i want him to be able to move on from his relationship with her. and that's not a cut at her. no one should be stuck feeling like shit. take it from the person that has been like that for years and still really is in one way or another: i wouldn't wish heartache on my worst enemy. so why would i do that to someone i say i care about??

scrolling my old art made me a bit sad and nostalgic (who doesnt get those feelings though doing the same) specifically i really have my heart going out to kid me who got basically no notes on anything. (im not saying i shouldve, art was definitely kid art and questionably tagged etc!) but some i put effort into and it made me so happy to get those 10 likes or whatever. it made me post post and post even what i was working on and unfinished bits (Sure, being me? many of those never got finished bc posting gave the hit of reward chemicals, no response meant no motivation to finish to get more yknow?)

its weird thinking ive now as an adult got a handful of posts with -hundreds- of notes. one over a thousand!! (sure, the really good and popular artists may have thousands but hey they deserve it!!) its weird that i sort of maybe now know what to do to get a reaction out of my prefered niche of the internet. that if i tried w some more consistently, who knows?

im proud of everything in my current art tag. (mostly. no. i am proud shut up brain) i feel slightly like posting more wips. bc i have a ton. surprisingly? ive been drawing way more in the past year than ive been posting (new for me). of course, there is no obligation to post it. why post stuff im not happy with? only to get anxious abt it? sure posting that one teaser when i was actively working on making it better was kinda fun. sure maybe posting some wips would make me go back and finish them bc some of them are good ideas?? but also some are just. theyd make sense to nobody but myself. and why should i share every crevice of my creativity like i used to as an attention craving kid?

ive got a few sketch to tiny doodle to questionable attempt at painting etc bits of the star wars ladies. reminds me that i should branch out in my star wars posting and that drawing women is just way easier and more natural to me why dont i do it more?

ive got like 12 frames of the inktober challenge from last year... in the style of posting 5 at a time, theyve all been sketched out and like half are i think finished. obviously october went long and at some point it just felt weird to post them even if i finished them. i sort of decided if i finish them up early autumn i could get away w posting them for beginning of october while i had a try at the new inktober? idk why i like a challenge to force me to draw more than i do in a year. and then it takes me a year lol. i have a set of 5 that are all inspired by fic, and like. i still like the idea of them. unfortunately? some of the references were old..  A YEAR AGO. sure theres like, the appreciation for vintage and telling ppl we like their work ages on. but i worry the authors no longer are in the fandom or want to be reminded of their work? etc etc. some of them are meh, some i like.

ngl i am especailly happy w my oct 31 post, which i really wish id finished on time for last year. heres to seeing if i post it this year? maybe i’ll finish what i want to finish of them (theres like. 2 im just really not inspired for and never was) and then have a wee collage of them to post, w the oct 31 prompt seperate, as a sort of. hey wip clear out! these are the stragglers from last year :))

i think a lot of people in 1d fandom (or its subfactions) sit on a high horse and they really need to get off of it. 

since i’m technically a larrie, i’ll start with my own kind first so u dont think im attacking any one person or group. some larries are... fucking annoying. i see some things that make me roll my eyes hard enough to hurt. like not everything is abt larry! not Everything is some secret ploy to hurt harry & louis. some larries are invasive. they don’t know what boundaries are and they think they can do and say whatever they want to whomever they want, just because they’re right about harry & louis being in a relationship. maybe it’s more of a thing on other apps but they’ll start talking abt larry with literally anyone and then act like Not knowing abt it is somehow wrong. some larries won’t talk to ppl who aren’t larries because they genuinely think that not being a larrie somehow makes u a bad person or a stupid person, regardless of whether or not ur a fan of harry or louis. being a larrie is not a prerequisite for loving and supporting harry and/or louis. people can be good even if they dislike harry or louis. people can be good even if they dont think larry is real. you’re not automatically better or smarter bc u see something that someone else doesn’t. i’m friends with ppl who are larries and ppl who were formerly larries and ppl who don’t care one way or the way and they’re all... sound people. hate to break it to u but being a larrie isn’t actually a personality trait. like.. it just isn’t. none of this means anything off the internet

antis/hets are an entirely different thing. i dont rlly have many strong opinions about them bc like... they never bought into the larry thing. they’ve believed whatever they were told Officially so there’s no reason to get worked up about them not liking larry or larries. they’ll see harry standing next to any blonde haired blue eyed white woman and construct an elaborate love story. the “anyone but louis” group will ship harry with any man they want because that’s ok but when larries say harry’s in a relationship with louis, only then does it become a personal topic. only then is it insensitive and invasive to talk about harry’s love life.

i love keeping things that once sparked joy in me. ever since i was a child, i was labeled as that kid who always has a lot in her, [figuratively speaking hah, pero sometimes literally charot ahahaha] “maraming kanana.” as my tito would always tell. keeping, hoarding, absorbing it all became a habit ever since, as if i never run out of place to store them all. i did that for years. 

and i guess, the universe has its own way of telling or slapping us with the truths we dont really wanna hear. aside from the fact that i was diagnosed with ~mild~ thoracic scoliosis last year, i never realized how hard i was clinging onto my past until i moved out from our condorm four days ago. ang dami kong kwentong sinama sa kasalukuyang, wala naman nang kwenta. as i declutter, yes theres still that spark of joy that flickers in my heart as i flip through the stuff ive been keeping inside my baggage. pero masakit. kasi noong panahong yun, napagtanto ko na sa mga ala-ala nalang pala ako nakakapit.

i need to stop putting up the same old stuff up in my walls, with the hope in my heart that these people will come back and relive those memories with me again. i need to stop taping back some pictures that is clearly falling apart. nakakapagod kumapit sa mga taong, ala-ala nalang yung iniwan sa’yo. isnt ironic how the people who used to make you feel at ease and them existing in your life feels like a warm embrace---almost at home, are now the ones that you knew deep down weigh and cosumed too much space in your bagahes but youre just too soft and kind and in denial because you loved them so much, and pakshet it hurts. 

sometimes, the things that weigh you down or the causes of the exceeding baggage youve been holding onto are the ones that is usually unnecessary. 

it is never too late to cut off ties, to let go of things than only once sparked joy. it is never too late to let go of people, to make space for new ones. it is never too late to let go of your past self, to make room for the endless possibilities of becoming the better of who you were yesterday.

i feel like a lot of people who USED to ship zim w/ the other main characters did it bc they were kids and interviews probably werent like. well known to them at the time? so with the material presented it was just. "well dib is in school and zim is too so theyre probably the same age." but if you KNOW like. even just now learning any normal person would be like oh fuck thats wack nvm

Yeah when I was a youngin' I shipped zim/dib among other Problematiqué things, I was too young to like fully absorb the Lore, and I don't blame anyone else for not knowing any better at the time (or even now, cause like, hey sometimes ppl aren't up to date on issues that weren't really talked about in the fashion they are today 10 years ago and that's okay, I just don't appreciate someone being like "fuck you" abt it like, that's immature)

It's pretty obvious now when you're 20+ the joke is that zim is so incompetent as an Irken soldier his arch nemesis is a child and zim spends his time fighting with children as a manner of "conquering earth" (also because he's so tiny).

My friend @revretch, who knows Japanese, told me that in the Japanese dub (or perhaps it was a sub? I forget sorry!) one of the insults Zim calls Dib is "sonny"! Which us hilarious and I wish that kind of thing showed up in its original English, like, we know that Zim knows he's vastly older than Dib but I'd like to see that expressed in that style more!

yes, sometimes! i’ve suppressed a lot of it over time but i still do some subtly.

 if so, what are yr favourite stims? 

touching/tapping the tips of my fingers together, stroking soft patches of skin(esp backs of my hands, wrists, or parts of my thighs, hips, ankles), cracking knuckles, stretching fingers/feet/arms/legs rly far, rapid blinking(though i also have a tic involving blinking which is similar, but involuntary), bubble wrap,flicking light switches/door lock mechanisms, bouncing on toes, toewalking, chewing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(esp pens/pen caps and similar textures), biting, mouthing/lipping things, clacking my teeth lightly, whistling, leg jiggle sometimes, jumping, skipping, hopping, and a few other rly specific things (like involving swimming, or being on something and hanging so im upside down and stuff)

BPD, (various types of)depression, DPD/social anxiety(when i’m alone)/agoraphobia, panic disorder NOS, mood disorder NOS, DID, ADD/ADHD-PI, ASD, gender dysphoria at one point, conduct disorder or whatever it was called. IED. all i can think of. all diagnosed professionally over the years, though ASD is not on any official records because i asked it to be left off to avoid that specific abuse/stigma.

13. is the community youve found with other mentally ill ppl helpful?

mostly no. but in some ways, yes. i appreciate having more access to info, hearing relatable stories, common symptoms/experiences that help me understand things better, etc. close friends with illnesses/disorders are nice, but mostly i know them for other reasons outside of diagnoses.

14. do you find it challenging to tell ppl yr mentally ill?

absolutely

15. what are the most effective coping mechanisms youve found?

im not sure. i just...cope? somehow? not always effectively, but idk.

i hate group therapy. in individual therapy, i like having my husband sit in on the sessions for support. therapist NEEDS to prompt me and ask active and specific questions. setting clear goals with clear steps helps. a lot of more “creative” methods actually are super unhelpful for me.

17. do "find your happy place" exercises help you or no?

sort of? i don’t try them much. usually they make me sadder that im not there.

18. what are some of the most Tiresome Cliches ppl tell you to deal with yr mental illness (i.e., "just do yoga!")?

i wanna say sleep, but it actually makes everything worse so, new diet(anti inflammation), making goals/plans, spirituality, going to healing places like the woods or by the sea or mountains, massage, soft comforting petting from my husband

it’s not the same. yeah maybe “everyone has back pain”, but my pain and your pain are different; they happen for different reasons and they affect us in different ways. if everyone is in pain we should do something to make life easier for everyone, not dismiss people who are suffering.

this is probably my favorite album by them tbh. don’t get me wrong - i absolutely loved their saturation albums but this one really topped them all. i loved bumping this in my car on the way to work with my volume way up and getting dirty looks from the white ppl in the cars next to me hehe. my fav tracks are probably berlin and j’ouvert

2. love me / love me not by honne

i saw them live in september !! i listened to this album (and their first album) a lot before the concert so id b Prepared. ive been listening to them since mybe 2016? their music is So good and this album was a lot more upbeat than the first one (which had more of a late night in the rain by the window kind of feeling) this one had more of a happy vibe and i really enjoyed it tbh!! favorite tracks were day 1 and crying over you

3. head in the clouds by 88rising

i went to the head in the clouds festival hosted by 88rising the same week i saw honne sdklfjslkj....such a good festival tbh and a good ass album!! i found out higher brothers’ music was a lil different from what i thought it was through this album lol...its still very yuh yuh but theyve got some funky instrumentals that i really like too...and miss niki omg.....my fav tracks were midsummer madness, head in the clouds, red rubies, and warpaint !!

4. coexist by the xx (+ intro from xx)

i think the xx are one of my favorite bands of all time tbh? ive been listening to them since i was 13 or 14 and i still love their music so much...i always find myself going back to coexist bc there is not one bad song on that album...Not One....its one of my life goals i think to see them in concert and hear intro live...one of the most iconic indie rock/indie pop songs imo tbh? this album is pretty melancholy and simpy but i love it to Death. probably my top 10 albums of all time. favorite tracks are angel, chained, tides, and swept away 

5. boy by offonoff

i love krnb !! its one of my most listened to genres recently i lovelovelove offonoff’s music it’s so chill and mellow and relaxing to listen to, and idk what to even say this album is just so good idk theres no bad songs every song is !! also theres a dean feature and a miso feature i mean hello ??? favorite songs are photograph, cigarette, and moon 12:04am

6. mass manipulation by rezz

im also super into edm this year, mostly bc of my best friend lol..we influence each other a lot when it comes to music and one of my fav artists she’s gotten me into is rezz...tbh rezz has a very distinct sound and not many people make music like her!! i just love the vibe of this whole album is so fucking cool and haunting and i can imagine it being the soundtrack to a cyberpunk film or something it’s so fucking awesome. favorite songs are premonition, drugs!, purple gusher (this one isn’t actually on the album but it was released as a single leading up to the album release), livid, basically all the songs tbh skdfhslkj

7. about time by sabrina claudio

her voice is. so fucking beautiful i cannot put it into words i love her music !! so much !! there’s just something so comforting and relaxing about her sound and i love this album so much tbh...i like to listen to this at night on my drive home from work...it helps me wind down and all that. my favorite songs are unravel me, stand still, and frozen !!

this actually an ep thing and it’s only got 2 songs on it but theyre. so good i listened to those two songs on repeat for weeks sdkfjslkj...say whats on your mind was my simp song for like a week i played it all day every day so fucking loud especially in my car i still love both songs to Death. i’d say that say whats on your mind is one of my top 10 fav songs of all time tbh! i recommend listening to that and i’d be sad if you were gone !!

9. don’t you by wet
