one of the things that continues to strike me on reread is how much the character of Darcy, and Austen through him, finds Mr. Bennet dead. And how much Elizabeth, in growing and changing and discarding her past blindness, has to move past her way of seeing her father and thus of seeing reality, because the two are connected! Darcy’s letter exposes her father’s flaws to Elizabeth in a way she’d never been able to see before. Most especially the way his laziness and neglect of his own gifts have hurt his family and that ultimately he doesn’t. care. Not enough to change. It literally says that she comes home from Hunsford and tries to laugh at her sisters’ and mother’s folly (the way she used to; the way her father has taught her to by example for her whole life) and she can’t anymore! It sticks in her throat. She is grieved by the failures that she sees in him, all the more so because she IS his favorite and she loves him! And the thing about Mr. Bennet is he never changes. The Lydia/wickham situation exposes to him sharply his own conduct and the consequences and he feels it! Because he is neither stupid nor unfeeling. But he, like everyone, has free will. And he chooses not to change when the opportunity presents itself. He even jokes about how quickly his feeling bad will pass and how soon everything will go back to normal, to his laziness and his selfishness. He is set in his ways and he serves as a contrast to Elizabeth’s personal journey because he embodies a version of a person she could have become and was in danger of becoming if her only goal at all times was to laugh at and judge people from the sidelines.

Someone said "Yuuta is the only one who knows he's in Jujutsu Kaisen" and I can't stop thinking about it since I read that.

Yuuta knows that this isn't going to end happily. Yuuta knows that hope and love isn't enough. Yuuta know's that they're not gonna win against Sukuna with determination and willingness. He has to fight fire by fire, to use the worst technique possible to be able to weaken the King of Curse.

There's no morals anymore, this isn't a fight where the heroes can keep following the good path. They're all going to die anyone so let's play all in, it doesn't matter anymore. If they lose, there won't be a world for them to live in. If they win... the world would be change forever.

Yuuta knows this is Jujutsu Kaisen and he is not a heroes. He is a pawn too whose role is to defeat Sukuna. They all are pawns, including Gojo-sensei. He will do what has to be done, and he'll be damned for that, but he'll do it anyway. He doesn't like it at all, he could die at the end of those 5 minues, he could stay stuck in his dead teacher's body, he could get killed without causing any damages. He still made the choice.

Everyone put their lives in line in this fight, but he put his own humanity. It's awful, it's cruel, it's disgusting, it's disrespectful, and he is well aware of that. But this is Jujutsu Kaisen, the story isn't going to end with friendship glitter and innocent smiles. It started with blood and will end the same way. And he has no choice to fight.

He's 17yo. The same age Geto and Gojo were when Riko died. He's just a kid, and he has to become a monster.

Charles was actually so right we he told the Night Nurse that she didn't know anything about them.

She tries to prove him wrong by showing him that she knows his past, and more specifically, his trauma. She tries using that move on Kashi too. But the thing is, people are so much more than their pain, but as someone whose work is solely with dead children who were unable to pass on, I doubt she understands that.

The Night Nurse only begins to actually know who the boys are as people and what motivates them when she looks into Charles' mind the second time, to see the beginning of his greatest joys. She starts tearing up Charles' memories of Edwin and I wouldn't be surprised if that was the first time she'd seen one of the kids she was charged to find happy.
