In the fic Merlin tells Arthur that he has magic, and Arthur asks why has Merlin never told him and then.. this..

"Just because Arthur could trust Merlin with his life didn't mean Merlin could do the same."

"JUST BECAUSE ARTHUR COULD TRUST MERLIN WITH HIS LIFE DIDN'T MEAN MERLIN COULD DO THE SAME."

This.. is the most devastating line I have ever read in a Merthur fic, ever..

Thinking about the steam achievements for the individual endings. “No prince for the princesses” is easy to understand, jupiter is the butch of the trio so it an easy leap.

“Lukewarm i spit you out” This passage of the bible is mainly used to against indecisiveness, this carries interesting implications for Neptune, her meanness is hidden with kindness, and her kindness is hidden with meanness, leaving her, lukewarmwhen it comes to interactions.

“Help me god im in love” this took me a bit to parse out. But think, for that brief moment, where Venus was the truest her she could, she saw everything, ranging from how this would end, to why this happens, but more importantly, how she felt about the other two, and knowing that they’ll always now be this separation between her and the other two

roger who's nickname for buggy was "junebug" cause they found him in june and his hair is the same color.... buggy who hates it at first until he's climbing into his captain's bed at night bc of a nightmare and his captain says ever so softly, "oh junebug, c'mere"..... the nickname getting adopted by everyone on the crew until nobody calls him buggy anymore..... them meeting up with thr whitebeard pirates and getting irrationally jealous when the whitebeards use the nickname bc that's their nickname and who the fuck do these people think they are getting so close to their junebug.... rouge who has never met buggy calling him junebug in her head.... roger whose last words to buggy that fateful day before loguetown was "you shine like the sun, junebug. never stop"..... buggy who waits for years after the execution for a call from one of his former crew members, hoping every time the den-den one day it'll be rayleigh or seagull or gaban or sunbell on the other side with a familiar "hey junebug", except no one ever calls and the years go by and buggy slowly learns to stop waits, and gives on being the roger's junebug and learns how to be buggy the clown, buggy the genius jester, buggy the immortal, everything and anything other than junebug

thinking about immortal merlin going to a super famous artist who is known for having super lifelike paintings a few hundred years after arthur dies and telling them their story and having the artist paint arthur just by merlin’s descriptions instead of by a recreation with his magic and just reliving his life in camelot mentally while sitting on this artists couch as they bring arthur back to life for merlin

I like how the line “when does the reason become the blame?” in just a man could link and eventually foreshadow to Penelope and Telemachus’ role in epic. At the beginning of epic, they are the reason Odysseus murders the infant, setting him down a path that he cannot return from. At the end of act 1, they have become the blame for Odysseus becoming the monster.

It isn’t their fault, they don’t even know any of this is going on, but it’s undeniable that Odysseus would not fight so hard to get home if he did not have his family waiting for him.

That’s my interpretation of it at least. Jorge’s writing is so genius that literally everything is up for interpretation and is right in their own ways.

In other words: JORGE WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO US 😭😭

Solas is such a contradicting character. One moment, he is a dreamer, a storyteller, a wanderer from the fade. The next, an agent of pride and vengeance, who will do whatever he thinks is righteous.

All of this, depending of what (or who) is in front of him. When his original nature of wisdom is appealed to, he is kindness. But how he can be twisted during times of confrontation.

Love him or hate him, he contains multitudes.
