Concrete Jungle Comic Moments that Live Rent Free in my head, Issues 1 & 2 in no particular order: - Noah declaring himself the only "real Art" in The Grey. -Folio lamenting his painting about to get fucked up. -Noah bullying Ruffilo with railgun noises -Van chatter (AFAIK, the puker is Folio, The guy stuck with him is Ruffilo and the driver is Noah, but this is unclear in the way the comic is laid out) -Snyder cut joke. -Brain Juice on the bad omens whip -Even M.I.N.D. is really freaked out by Noah's fucking driving.

Mako would love to have plants!! I can see him just starting because Bo gave him a dying succulent and of course that made Mako do some book research... Yeah they have a jungle now!

LMAO at Bolin gifting him his first succulent. Bolin always relying on his brother to fix his mistakes/clean up his messes lmao no matter how insignificant. Mako for sure did some research, he takes it VERY seriously.

There's something else about this that makes me have feelings... Mako is a caregiver, that's just who he is, for better or for worse. But he's also a provider and protector. and growing up on the streets, caregiving providing and protecting all involved fighting. violence or crime or self defense. Mako is a firebender, too. Such a destructive element. And there's something about a firebender who grew up on the streets, in a city of concrete and industry, who had to resort to violence and destruction to survives; caring for a plant of all things. Something green and natural and requiring careful attention. Idk it gives me warm fuzzies.

Uhhhh Wu can't be trusted to take care of them when Mako's away, unfortunately.

i feel insane for like, checking but i had to know lol

went to the sumerian comics page to see if i could get an idea of pricing for the sleep token graphic novel. turns out bad omens’ concrete jungle story is getting its own novel! (all the issues in one novel- kinda neat!) that’s beside the point.

the bo graphic novel (just the novel, no extra shit) was $42 CAD, shipping was another $28. so that was like, $70 CAD maybe a bit more after tax

fingers crossed the sleep token one is similarly priced 😅 because $70 is a lot more doable than i was bracing myself for

Leaning in, he presses a bloody kiss to Vinny’s mouth, before turning away to eat the second steak, slower than before. Vinny watches avidly, not making a move to wipe at his face. The blood soaked paper bag gets crumpled up and tossed in the trash, and that’s when his breathing finally seems to return to normal.

“Are you going to run now?” Ryan asks him, practically licking his chops. “You know I’m gonna chase you if you do. I don’t think we’ve reached that stage of our relationship where you’ll like what’ll happen when I catch you.”

Vinny considers it, he really does. But he shakes his head finally, moving away from the door slowly. Ryan’s eyes track him like prey, and all Vinny can do is hope that the steaks were enough to hold him over. If he asks it of him, he knows where the keys to the basement are to lock him up. But it’s never come to that before.

There’s a first time for everything though.

Alright. This is what I could glean from this tiny blurry AF map...of course nothing is concrete this is just speculation or deductive reasoning or whatever you want to call it...anyway:

The Grey District - (Bad Omens territory) where the boys hail from; it would encompass parts of the San Fernando Valley, The Westside, and the South Bay; very large area compared to the other territories, the next largest being The Quakes territory, although that's just speculation on the borders

The Quakes - (Government territory); No Information Yet in the Comics. Would encompass the Angeles forest, Northeast LA, The Eastside, and South LA; might go beyond it's northern border but the map cuts off

(Kingdom) - (atomic six territory); enemy crime syndicate of Bad Omens; led by a man named "D" who's currently masquerading around as Harvey Dent; had half of their territory taken by BO; would encompass the Verdugos, Central LA, and the Harbor

The Company (no territory name) - No Information Yet in the Comics; would encompass the Southeast side of LA

The Drain - (Broken Youth territory); No Information Yet in the Comics; would encompass the San Gabriel Valley; might go beyond its eastern border

We got a glimpse of what happens when the band “do what they want”. It was called the Concrete Jungle comics and the OST album and (surprise!) they were flops.

I agree with everything this person said, but this part 👆 was especially funny. It's true. When Noah wrote tdopom, he did so during live streams and received feedback. We don't talk enough about that part of his writing process in the past. Not all of the album was written that way, but a large enough portion of the most popular songs were written that way. The projects where the fans were not involved at all were disappointing. Of course there are fans who are going to stick my bo no matter what, and most of those people are here and on Twitter. But the vast majority of bo fans are casual fans and they care about the things the die hard fans don't care about like quality of their work which is lacking and who they associate with, which as of recently has been primarily poppy. Most people don't like her. If they did, her career would have sky rocketed years ago and she wouldn't need to lean on other artists like she does. Most people find her to be weird and unpleasant. She is weird and unpleasant. There's a horror movie about what she did to Mars Argo. That's public knowledge and who noah has aligned himself with. Anyone who thinks that's not going to hurt him and ultimately BO is naive.

I saw a post on Reddit of the now taken down tweet. The link said Concrete Jungle (The OST). I’m pretty sure the deluxe album is a soundtrack to the comics, which would make sense about the VAN song. Seems like we are getting a combo of new songs, collabs and remixes from Concrete Jungle that Noah kept talking about.
