having good & true friends will literally save and protect you in a million unfathomable ways. like okay we have written so many times about lovers. but the way a platonic friend laughs and cries with you. the way they hold your hand at 14 years old and at 34. the way they keep a little silver tie to you, touching base over and over and over. how you can go years without talking, only to re-meet and discover: oh shit! you're still cool!

there are people who have been in my life for more than half of it, and i have loved every version of them. do you know how fucking beautiful that is. yeah love will save the world. but the way friends love you is gonna save the you.

You can't transition to be intersex you can transition to be androgynous, which is basically a simile but because of today's definition it's no longer one. Intersex is the label of sex not necessarily gender, which androgynous covers now. Outside of that I really have to agree with your post, trans and intersex people need to come together and stop fighting against each other, many of our issues relate back to the exact same thing and we need this solidarity instead of just taking turns throwing each other under the bus

no yeah we're actually on the same page when i said "transition to intersex" i was quoting the person i was vagueblogging about but like what does that even mean? nonbinary people medically transitioning? androgyny? technically speaking all medical transition makes you "intersex" from a perisex/visual perspective (the way doctors diagnose intersex disorders is batshit insane) ie the reason most slurs for us are used towards transfem people? like it was just really confusing terminology to me i'm genuinely still trying to figure out what OP meant.

but yeah like. idk i'm intersex and trans and i'm ngl i've had a lot of wonderful conversations with trans people over how our experiences overlap on unexpected ways or nuances like how being intersex impacts transition and gender and intersectionality (i unironically know XX transfems, TMA afabs, and other "oxymoron" type identities because of other intersex trans people) like even the average perisex trans person is generally more able to grasp and accept my condition than any perisex cis person.

it's just so weird to me that people in the past 5 years or so have been fighting so hard to remove the I from Pride as if attendance isn't voluntary. because like bro, that's ur cousin, to cis perisex people we aren't meaningfully different (notice how transphobes target intersex people constantly).
