Tbh I think bdubs is an exception BC the HC hero tower is paying for the hero's who are visiting/helpings accomodation, and since bdubs lives w tango he doesn't have to pay anything

Our thoughts and observations under the cut!

Round 1:

I clearly thought Ninjaslap would be the biggest sweep, but pixltoile suprisingly fought well, And fish yuri left no shot to Zaypixel and Geminitay

Round 1.1.3 was extremly close, but Shubble x Hypno won by O.8%! (≈4 peoples!)

We already got two piece of "propagandart" (propaganda art) in round 1, and both were for Fish yuri! (by @t4tpolypd and @staringamassivemistakeintheface)

Round 2:

Mogbeans/Swamp boys tried hard but T4T yuri was stronger (My boys 😭 - Admin 1)

Littlesoot got its ass kicked by hotguy/fundy and was crying in a corner when suddendly, out of nowhere, it took itlwblr by storm, broke containment, the poll broke 1k votes, became the most noted of the brackets (yet) and won with a large margin!

FWhilza fought well but Bighills was stronger

Fish Yuri still prevail with the biggest sweep yet (87.3%!!!)

Jojosolos/Jack Manifold vs Tommyinnit/Scott Smajor was the closest yet! (50.1 to 49.9!!!!)

Round 3 and PURGATORY 1 :

Scegg vs Stresstherine was so close it switched side at least 5 times!

i'm genuenely impressed by clownscar comeback they've constantly been close but didn't get ahead during the whole poll and somehow managed to win in the last stretch!

WE MADE MOGBEANS CANON!!!!!!! VIVA LA SOS SMP!!!!

Fish Yuri is unstopable and has killed many great ships now (rip Bighills we loved you so much)

Bdubs Smol Bdubs is tall!

Content SMP fans are sad today, the last two ships they had just sank! (bye bye Evillnox and Skizzlerat)

Round 4 and PURGATORY 2 :

Fish Wives felt resistence to the first time facing Clownscar, but still they were too powerful

Clownscar you will forever live in our hearts

Wilbur you're a pig, Yuri beat his ass! (and so they did)

Zombiecello/Ivorycleo popped off! >90% sweepage!

3/8 ships still in line are yuri, but none of them are part of the PURGATORY Brackets!

Goodbye Zaypixel, our only Yuri Loss this round :(

You guys seem to love shipping Ethoslab a lot (bunch of ethogirls) as he is in 35% of the remaining ships

Round 5 and Purgatory 3:

Yuri lost so much, and is now only represented by Fish Wives :(

Half of the ships still in have a wild etho in them (ethogirls rise up!)

The now no-longer-crackship mogbeans is still thriving and bested the fan-favorite fwhilza!

Seapeekarl fought well, but lost to the ethogirls again

this is the first round where they weren't a >40% sweep! but the choice are only getting harder from here!

HMMMMMM this was actually much harder to choose than I thought! I went with who I have most fun drawing in my normal style and chibi(?) style :3

AND I'd have to say it's Tango!

He's a very animated person so translating his energy into drawings is always really fun! His design is also really fun to draw with his eyes, baggy sleeves and pants.

Etho, he's also a lot of fun to draw! Drawing his shenanigans is very fun and during LL drawing him unnecessarily cool was an absolute blast. Got to tap into my webtoon energy haha.

Bdubs, he is also SUPER ANIMATED, but I really enjoy drawing him as a smol chibi fella recently.

Beans, another VERY ANIMATED person haha. So going over the top with expressions is very fun.

Also! I haven't drawn him in awhile, but Jevin is soooo much fun to color! Jello boy!

And Doc is very fun to sketch!! Cleaning up his bionic arm is annoying sometimes when lining/coloring xD

Been working on the pyramid again. It's nearly done, bar the three large rooms at the base. I know what each one is going to be, I just need to build them. Also I am glad I got the hermit heads thing, bc it makes for much better statuary. They're not perfect equivalents for Egyptian gods, but that isn't really the way I'm using them. I just think it gives the pyramid more life to have all these different statues around the place. also ofc I had to put TFC in the main entrance. <3

That said, Stress, here, is depicting the goddess Mut, who oversees purifications and the isheru/baths where priests would wash and purify themselves before going into the temple. The rest are kinda just there bc I wanted some statuary on the second floor and they all just seemed like good pairings to use (Ren and Doc; Jev and Cleo; Keralis and xB).

I've also completely redone the upper floor under the Holy of Holies and made some storage and offering preparation rooms.

This is the dream incubation room underneath the Holy of Holies. In Egyptian temples, they would have dream incubation rooms where you could sleep the night in the temple in order to dream the answer to a question you wanted the god to answer. The bed is a smol version of the one Cub build in his pyramid.

I want to do a little more decoration in here, but this is a healing pool/healing room. It sits opposite the dream incubation room.

The House of Life/private library only accessible to the priests, watched over by Seshat (False) and Djehuty (Cub). This would have spells and rituals and other magical formulae used by the priests in ritual or in other work they would be doing.

Finally, the Holy of Holies. This would be accessible only to the priests and is the smallest part of the pyramid. I possibly, more correctly, should have put the statues in cabinets/closed shrines, and I may still do that, but this works for now. I wanted to get a basic set-up done first and see how I like it. Obvs I had to put my Vex boys in there, as well as Saint Bdubs of the Sun. I'd have loved for Scar to be holding a bow, but apparently Bedrock won't let me do that so. He's holding a pickaxe instead. -_-

i mean im reminded (and checked the video to remember right) of him joining and being turned into a proper hermit of hermitopia after he invited scar to be the first to try after the other spooked him by the Join! machine he made in his season 9 episode 27/called hermitopia and him at the very end of the video exclaiming to himself and the audience on how sad but true the smushed smallness trait he made for the hermits who joined hermitopia was more to his in real life height. (which, it’s implied but he’s short) and how much he hates how in game the effect/mod it looks so wrong in f5. also i guess because he’s a chaos gremlin, pesky bird, creechur, who fools everyone by being a cute ‘smol’ person (or just two big long black lines for eyes, a simple cozy enough red sweater/jumper, waffle hair, can remind u of bread, seeing irl him with his cats) who is so compacted with so much unrelenting energy he flies everywhere like a bird and gets into places that intrigue him. maybe some extremely old perceptions and kept views too with all the coming years knowledge we have now on what season 6 (or more&in gen viewers who came from evo, after it was finished) grian was like. new and probably to himself in over his head and intimidated and overwhelmed and maybe a little shy. <- has started his season 6 playlist awhile ago, never seen it in full, watched like a good ten episodes with a estranged friend and stopped watching at least 6 partly because of it. knows a lot about it from the grapevine. and ig watching all videos of hermitcraft recap season 6-9 a year ago because me not having time to watch all 30+-min episodes and getting a fun summary from pixl and zloy. i know I’m sending this late and if I write the one i said in tags got deleted it will be late too but i wanted to say this and possibly w/e else because i couldn’t stop myself otherwise. got into a explaining long wordy defensive ‘apologist’ brainrot spiral over…my main guy who entertains me? idk explaining and defending and arguing can be fun or just the right or wrong idk switch of i can’t think of anything else to do but maybe do it if i can with trying to be kind and careful. idk.

anyway felt like writing something and reblogging it, late or not. it is pretty harmless accepted or liked or is a fine by most grian enjoyers headcanon. or sorta truth. i mean i usually don’t see him at all that short, I guess because i curated my space and don’t mind it. I do like the idea of parrot or allay or bee or baby chicken grian just existing. or being a devil on your shoulder. idk it’s part of his vibe tho there are people who make him buff (cause he can be quite strong, would be in character and irl) and tol enough. height differences are also nice, lanky tol mumbo and smol or short grian. etc etc. i mean because i hope and think and maybe know op understands my feelings and to bring them as examples, the dynamic and height differences of tol lanky etho and short bdubs, adding tol scar or taller than bdubs but shorter than scar cubfan or really any hermit taller than bdubs who tangles themselves into his magnetic charming sometimes cute when angy or flustered. Ok so I’ve been thinking and I’ve decided that instead of doing mcyt fanart like a normal person I’m going to start depicting everyone as birds because I’m not confident enough in drawing humans, specifically men.

I will put it all my hadcanons for these characters under the "Keep reading" thingy, so it doesn't get overwhelming for others.

Bdubs - smol gremlin human (yes, that’s it)

BigB - normal human, but he wears headband with dog ears (he is matching with Ren <3)

Cleo - they are zombie (like…really, what else did you expect?)

Etho - artic fox; he has fox ears and tail (cunning fox for the cunning redstoner)

Grian - elytrian with macaw wings (he can fly, but carrying anyone is hard)

Impulse - netherborn with devil horns and tail (enderdragon hybrid is also a great idea, but for this story not so much…)

Jimmy - elytrian with canary wings (he can fly, but carrying anyone is hard)

Joel - mostly looks human, but has ogre ears like Shrek (and he is definitely average height :) )

Martyn - half elf (to be more precise, half sun elf)

Pearl - moth and moon elf, she is both (I've already explained myself in Chapter 2 comments)

Ren - dog hybrid; he has ears and tail (no wolf or werewolf Ren here, sorry...)

Scar - Illager with small vex wings (enchanting table obsession, magical crystals…do I really need to say more?)

Scott - sun elf (just the whole vibe, y-know?)

Tango - originally a blaze hybrid, but he did make some modifications to be also part robot (this also means he needs to get cooled down more often to prevent overheating)

Lizzie - fairy (same as the fairyborn origins)
