STROPTOG OMG I HAVE SUCH A SIMILAR IDEA I POSTED ABOUT IT ON MY TWITTER A FEW MONTHS AGO I'm literally jumping up and down IM SO GLAD YOU ALSO THINK SHAY WOULD BE METKAYINA TOO I THOUGHT I WAS DELUSIONAL BUT OMG I DIDNT EVEN THINK ABOUT HIM HAVING A TULKUN NAMED MORRIGAN THATS SO GENUIS WHAT

I was discussing this with a friend and I ended up like talking about arno and shay and I couldn't figure out if I liked the idea of shay being a native na'vi or an avatar but honestly it could go both ways (at first the native na'vi shay idea being that he left or was kinda cast out of the tribe leading him to side with the enemy (humans/avatars) which is how he meets haytham almost in a quaritch/spider kinda way (with shay more willing to help than spider) and he's deemed a traitor to the na'vi,, BUT I also liked the avatar idea too sigh,,) but anygay avatar shay ends up killing arnos dad making arno hate the humans even MORE but then ended up falling for Elise (basic classic unity style) but also there's na'vi shay killing Charles (who's a human) and arno growing up to hate the na'vi and only got into the program to avenge his father only to end up falling in love with a na'vi (elise) WOWZA !!

BUTBUT ALSO I ACTUALLY COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT BIRCH WHEN I WAS THINKING OF THE AU I thought of braddock as Quaritch,, BUT lowkey I like Birch being Quaritch and a way for haytham to gain ziios trust was to still kill Braddock but he also didn't really care bc he never really liked the guy and if Birch asked about it he'd just go "oh uhh idk Braddock was KIA I guess🥀" BUT that could also lead to Birch being like "Well now we have to get back at them" and haytham forgets to mention the fact the humans are going to attack ziios village and after its all done (kinda like the movie,, but not like the movie bc he wont get to reconcile with her like Jake did) she sends him away

sorry I had to yap about some of the ideas I had BC IM SO EXCITED SOMEONE ELSE HAS A SIMILAR IDEA TO ME I didn't have anyone else to talk to about this,, idk if any of this make sense it's midnight and I just got off from a stressful rehearsal but YEAH GRERARAAA

Avatar AU where Aang wakes up after 200 years in the iceberg, and 100 years after the Fire Nation completely fucks up the world.

But apparently they were off the menu. He figured they were a sacred animal to the Fire Nation or something. At least Zuko let them eat some of the eggs, but the Fire Nation was weird."

I like to think even when they escape the island, it takes years for Sokka to learn that turtle-ducks aren't sacred. They were just Zuko's favourite animal 😅 hopefully a strange comment followed by odd looks and Sokka gets educated

What, you never saw season 4? Where the gaang goes on a hunt for Zuko’s mum, they learn about his scar, he doesn’t immediately take the throne BECAUSE HES SIXTEEN, GIVE THE KID A BREAK OMG, aang has character development and reaches the avatar state through personal sacrifice, and the adults don’t leave rebuilding a post-war economy to literal children? What a shame.

anyways, give me mama-bear Ursa, who was in hiding and reluctantly takes the throne to make a better world for her son now that Ozai mysteriously died. (She has ten plus years experience of living at fire nation court, she’s got this) here

Woe! Ninjago x ATLA AU be upon you!!

So I found these old sketches from a while ago where I combined ATLA and Ninjago (one of the easiest crossovers known to man), but… I hadn’t watched ATLA yet, so they weren’t very good. Don’t worry, I’ve changed.

Timeline wise, it’s the kind of AU that overwrites the OG narrative- Lloyd takes Aang’s place (and also Zuko’s) while the other ninja take the Gaang’s place. I liked the correlation between Jay’s and Teo’s parents being inventors so Jay takes Teo’s place. He gets a wheelchair, then, because it feels VERY rude to replace a disabled character with an abled one. I think the order of characters joining the team would be Lloyd, Kai, Zane, Jay, Cole, then Nya. Kai would be away from home at a station, and the ‘main plot’ (before the reveal of Lloyd being the Avatar) would be Kai getting home, but Lloyd is searching for the Avatar so they can’t do that straight on.

Also, yes, Garmadon is the Fire Lord.
