Zuko x Tala (reader/OC) Tala is an original character based on my ATLA Book 'Golden Eyes' This is a Disney x ATLA Crossover

Would anyone like Mulan (1998) Characters on this book as well?

The beauty in the story isn't most like Disney princesses, she isn't skinny. This can is a "I can be a change him" trope but I won't do Stockholm Syndrome. definitely hurt/comfort trope and grumpy x sunshine trope a bit of enemies to lovers.

Characters are still benders and Zuko is still a Prince and comes from a rich family. Azula and Zuko will have a much closer relationship because I believe in Azula Redemption arc.

Tala is adopted into Sokka & Katara's family. (𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟/ 𝐘/𝐍)

I was thinking of making it like Teen Wolf 2011-2016 and 1998-2006 Charmed flair to the story. There will be magic, spiritual, supernatural events.

Cursed

18 year old Zuko was enraged at his uncle. Hama was watching from a far while. Bursting out the Jasmine Dragon. Getting away from his uncle. Still calling his uncle and others names lashing out on others. Shoving the old woman out of his way. "Out of my way you old hag! Who do you think you are?!" The old woman didn't mean to bump into Zuko "unintentionally." What Zuko doesn't know that old women was Hama the Southern Water Tribe Witch. Who controls people through blood bending like a puppet. She even curses those who mistreat others and for their awful behavior. Hama had a bad experience in the pass she got her family her tribe taken away even her gifts that temporarily removed her as a water bender.

Hama smirks creepily. Hama saw his past, how he would be angry towards others. Chasing even bullying Team Avatar: Aang, Katara, Sokka, Tala, and Toph. Back in High School. Even to the one person he cares and love the most his uncle. "You got an awful temper young lad. I thought you'd change? You know, you should respect your elders. Still acting like this as you were as a teen? Aren't you an adult now? Should've known better by now young lad." Zuko Scoffs. Thinking, 'That's the most creepy looking old lady I ever seen.'

Stopping from his tracks now facing the old woman. "Respect? You don't know me. You should mind your own business. What are you even talking about?! How do you know-?" Zuko was about blast fire at Hama.

Hama uses her blood bending. to stop him. Pulling him closer. "I wouldn't do that if I were you young lad." Zuko rarely shown fear the last time he did was he did was he thought he was supposed to do the Agni Kai with the general but instead it was his father. which received a scar from his father. "That scar doesn't make you monstrous. What makes you that way is your actions. Which there are consequences to your actions. Someone should've teach you a lesson." Hama thought he needs to know what's it like to be a loving and friendly young boy back when he was 7. He needs new friends or at least someone to remind him that he have good in his heart and his family other than his uncle, mother, and great grand father Roku. "You don't know how to handle your own anger. You have been selfish, obsessed to regain your honor. Who would gets your way. You need more kindest in this world. That you forgot what love and happiness is." Which causes Hama to magically put a curse on him to become the Scarred Dragon every time the sun goes down and once it's sun rise he'll become human again. Now releases him.

18 year old Zuko didn't believe in what Hama said to him. Once the sun went down. Zuko starts seeing that he's growing scales, fangs, claws.

Rushing to his apartment shared with his apartment. destroying everything in his room due to his size. Then, rushing to the bathroom looking into the mirror he starts to get more self conscious even in dragon form he still have that scar on his left eye. "NO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! NO!" "Uncle! Uncle something's happening to me!!!" Iroh wakes up due to Zuko's commotion. That was the first Iroh saw time his nephew turned into a dragon. Covering his face, crushing the mirror. Feeling like an actual monster. 'I can't live like this.' Knowing he has school and work night shifts at The Jasmine Dragon.

Iroh tried to comfort him and speak up. "Zuko-" About to place his hand on his nephews shoulder. His nephew tried flying out the window and went on top of the apartment alone.

This is the second time Zuko saw Hama she's on the roof top. "I am no ordinary "old hag" I am a witch. Hama from the Southern Water Tribe who cursed you. Every time the sun goes down you turn into a Dragon. Once the sun rises you'll be a human think of it as a werewolf. Within a full moon you'll be a full dragon. The entire time."

Zuko breathing out fire. "What?! Cursed me? I can't go out looking like this! Like the original fire benders!!! At least tell me how to get out looking like this!!!"

Hama used her blood bending to get him to face her and listen. "You can't always get your way Prince Zuko. You have to suffer the consequences. You have until your 21st birthday to build, fix your relationships."

Zuko snapped, "What relationships?"

"Your family, friends, possibly a lover." Smiling creepily, Hama kept his mouth shut. "-There is more to the world then just black and white. At least find someone that'll love you at your worst. Remember what I said to you at the Jasmine Dragon. Or you have to adapt and live like this forever." Hama then disappeared. Releasing him.

Iroh met up with Zuko. Zuko heard his uncle walking behind him. Iroh overheard the conversation between Hama and Zuko conversation.

"Uncle, I can't have you looking at me like this. Leave!" Not facing him. Iroh didn't care what he looks like. He still loves his nephew.

He thought of Mai more as a friend they broke up 3 years ago. Even his sister they made up. Ursa took custody of Azula during Ozai's and Ursa's divorce. Though Azula still working on her relationship with Ursa. Azula is roommates with Ty Lee and Mai

The Gaang, he slowly gaining a friendship in his junior year of High School. Once first year of college hit he started spending less time with the Gaang... Even Tala when she needed him to dance for her birthday Zuko just left. She never understood why. Instead she have Haru danced with her. 2 years of friendship she thought why is he pushing her and her and the rest of the gaang away just like that?

Yess I do! Normally it's the Avatar 2 soundtrack (faves are From Darkness to Light, The Spirit Tree and ofc The Songcord). If I'm really living life on the edge I'll listen to either my modern au playlist or my generic Spider playlist. Normally I write best without though 💔

Yasss, I met most of my best irl friends (of several years) on Tumblr/AO3! We've stayed friends and outgrown various fandoms together. So ofc they know I write fic. I literally live with someone whose fic I loved so much that I commented on and just... became close friends with over the years.

❌ What's a trope you will never write?

In this fandom, romance. I'm just not into it 🤷‍♀️

🎯 Have any of your readers accurately guessed major plot points? Care to share which?

Hmm... I don't think so? Some things are fairly obvious, and I think the general direction of the fics are quite clear, but normally what people comment or send asks about, I try and incorporate into the fic anyway 💞

💖 What made you start writing?

I wanted to see the missing scenes between Spider and Quaritch! I literally wrote about 700 words straight into a tumblr post one day, and that's how If You Playing Me was born! I never expected it to be full book length!

💌 How do you feel about comments and feedback?

Love them! Give me all the comments!! 🙌🏻🙏🏻😍 They give me life! It reminds me that there might be people out there who genuinely love reading some of the stories I put out 🥺💞💙💞💙

💥 How do you feel about criticism?

I think that on the internet, with strangers, you should only critique people's work/art when they have explicitly asked for it. Otherwise it comes across as rude, despite the fact you may have their best interests at heart. I would never dream of suggesting improvements to anybody else's work, and don't expect people to offer unsolicited advice on mine either. I'm really lucky - no one has really tried to offer me criticism, and those that have, have at least tried to do it nicely 🥰 It's all for fun and I'm not here to take it too seriously! 🥰😎

Fluff Prompts. 12 please! Either way that strikes you :)

@ruddcatha I knew once I read the prompt for #12 which would be perfect, so I wrote a little piece that would take place early on in A Not So Far Quest!

Also did a little art to go with it because it just fit and I don't really have any art for this AU so that's my excuse (I'll add it to AO3 once I get a proper title and just start a collection of fluff prompts if these continue, so until then, tumblr exclusive)

12. “Can you say that again?” “Were you not listening?” “No I was, I just like hearing your voice.”

Inuyasha wasn’t a very sociable person. He had a close circle of people he’d openly admit he tolerated. As a stretch he’d even include Sango’s annoying friend Kagome in that circle. He did like getting a rise out of her, and that – in its barest form in his opinion – was a form of socializing. It was also a personal challenge to see if she’d follow through on the warning that he’d received from Sango back when they were just getting to knew each other.

“You keep talking shit, you’re gonna get hit.”

She hadn’t, so either Sango was exaggerating or he hadn’t found the right trigger yet.

But his social circle was steadily growing. Those two girls in Far Quest were quickly becoming decent conversation – when all four of them were playing, that is. More and more he was noticing that Miroku was opting out of raids in favor of going out with Sango, which – fine. That made sense. They were a thing. That meant that they went out and did things. Even if “going out” to do things meant locking themselves in Miroku’s room and doing thingsthat they didn’t try to keep quiet about.

What befuddled him was that Coral Huntress was also gone on those nights. Maybe it was just coincidence but he wasn’t stupid. Inuyasha had his suspicions but he couldn’t prove anything, which was driving him mad, because if he made a claim that maybe Miroku’s girlfriend wasn’t being totally upfront about all of her hobbies without evidence he’d just get laughed at. And he sure as hell couldn’t make that claim in front of Kagome. She’d probably laugh the hardest at learning that he was playing a massive multiplayer online game.

That would be the worst thing to happen.

“So there I am, I’ve walked down the hallway of the science wing. I had made it to the door mind you, and no one had said a word about it!”

“They didn’t?” He was trying hard not to laugh, but Birdsong caught him.

“It’s okay. I can laugh about it now,” she said. Her character on the screen cast healing as Inuyasha’s took a hit with the poison from the orc blade that had hit him in the shoulder. “I gave every junior level student in that hallway a good look at my underwear because my skirt got tucked in my panty hose.”

Inuyasha did let out a bark of laughter then, and he could hear the melodic laugh of Birdsong through his headphones. He liked that laugh. In a small way, it almost reminded him of Kagome’s laugh. The problem was, he rarely got to hear her laugh. She was usually scowling at him. Or rolling her eyes. Which was disappointing, because she also had a pretty smile.

“You alright over there?” Birdsong asked, jerking him from his thoughts. “That orc was coming right for you, dude! How did you not see it?”

“Lost in thought,” he said lamely. “T-thanks for catching that.”

The area in the current dungeon they were exploring was cleared of any spawns, which gave them the opportunity to check their stores and do any damage control before they moved to the next room. Inuyasha opened up his stats panel to see how close he was to leveling up again – not too far off if he kept this pace – when Birdsong spoke up.

“Not that it’s any of my business, but can I ask if it was good thoughts or bad thoughts that got you so distracted?”

“You’re fine. It’s…uh…not really good or bad, exactly?”

“It’s that girl you’ve been talking about, isn’t it?” she asked curiously.

“Damn is it that easy to tell?” Inuyasha sighed, leaning back in his chair.

Birdsong’s avatar moved around the screen as he sat back and watched. She was practicing some of her newly acquired techniques and since they weren’t on a timer for this dungeon to be completed, he didn’t see a problem with it. Plus he was feeling incredibly lazy.

“Not really,” she replied. “But we’ve talked so much about our days that it tends to come up, so naturally it was one of my first guesses. Did she say something that bothered you?”

“Worse.” How he found himself divulging his chronicles in pissing off Kagome on a daily basis he didn’t know, but Birdsong ran with it and matched him for stories of some jerk of a guy she dealt with. It was their weird way of commiserating apparently. “She didn’t even acknowledge me more than an annoyed look today.”

There was a sympathetic murmur that came from her end, and in most cases that would have annoyed him because to hell with other’s pity, but from Birdsong it wasn’t like that. “You say anything to her at all? Even a hello?”

“Tried. That’s how I got the look.” The hanyou hoped that pathetic whine in his voice just then didn’t come through the microphone. “I didn’t even say anything bad, either! I said ‘Hey’. How is that me being rude, cause she looked like she didn’t want to deal with me?”

Birdsong hummed thoughtfully. “Maybe she just wasn’t in the best mood today? It might not have had anything to do with you at all?”

“Feh. I’m always the cause of her bad days, according to her.”

“Not mine,” Birdsong supplied. “Not anymore, at least.”

Inuyasha’s ears perked up. Had he heard right? Did she really say that? He had to be sure. “Can you say that again?”

There was a pause, and a confused voice asked, “Were you not listening?”

‘Shit. Play it cool. Don’t let her think you’re a sap.’ “No I was, I just like hearing your voice.” ‘Well that was the dumbest thing you could possibly say and now –’

“Oh,” came her soft reply, and if he had to bet money on it, she might have actually been blushing by the one of her voice. “I like hearing your voice too,” she said shyly.

He had to make her laugh before it got awkward, cause then she’d bail on the game and he’d be stuck asking for help from some 12-year old that was gonna talk smack all night. “I like hearing mine too,” he grinned, pleased when she started to giggle. Somehow it made his heart feel lighter, and he wondered if he could ever get that same feeling from talking with Kagome. “So…you ready to get back to work?”

“Do you mean saving your ass?”

“No I meant being the target so I can save yours.”

He heard an irritated groan and grinned widely. Oh yes, things were going good tonight.

Five movies/shows

The fact that “shows” is included in here means that’s going to be the majority of this, because in general I have a lot more TV shows I like than movies. I’m not a huge fan of the visual medium in general, but shows are able to seize my heart, you know how it is.

Cinderella, but specifically the Disney version of the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical from 1997. This movie was my entire childhood and remains my favorite movie of all time; i love it so so so much: the music, the costumes, the characters, the actors. It’s such a brilliant, fun, loving movie.

rotbtd tag game!

started by @risoris a while ago but i saw it in the tags and i wanted to try 😊

name/nickname? i go by phoenix

how did you get into rotbtd? i was a big fan of rotg and i kinda stumbled onto rotbtd through fan art and stuff. so i started writing fics on wattpad and got involved in all that fandom drama ahahhh it was fun, not really tho it was messy

what made you stay/come back? i got back into writing rotbtd fics for comfort, and now i have very different opinions on how i see the characters compared to back then and i need a place to scream so here i am 🤡

out of the four movies, which one is your favourite? this one’s tuff. honestly rotg still holds a special place in my heart, i love the characters and the world and i still needa read the books!! but at the same time, httyd is like a PERFECT film in my mind when it comes to storytelling, so like, definitely between those two.

dreamworks dragons or rapunzel’s tangled adventure? i haven’t watched either of them in full, but i gotta say dreamworks dragons just bc of HEATHER. heatherrrrrrrrr, she owns my heart, heathstrid owns my heart

which one do you prefer to be made a sequel of, brave or rise of the guardians? definitely rotg but i’d want it to be more of a tv show. i’m too invested in the lore and the characters, i need full length episodes.

otp/brotp(s)? ahhhhh this question. hijack is probs my fav otp just bc i love like.......... the idiot x idiot dynamic they have going on. the sheer dumbassery of pairing them together brings me sm joy, they’re so stupid and i could go on for hours but anyways........ biggest brotps are probs jackunzel and mericcup (i KNOW those are the most popular ships idk why i’m like thissss) but also jarida gives me such a rivalry dynamic that i love, and i just. love them all

favourite characters? LOVE THEM ALL. idk man i feel like i think about jack the most bc he’s kinda the most tragic character w 300 years of isolation, but i also love analyzing hiccup and rapunzel, and i basically put merida on a pedestal, so it just depends on the day and whoever i happen to be hyperfixated on 🤓

favourite au(s)? probs a modern au or any kind of fantasy au, and like whatever’s in between those two. i think it’s just fun playing around w the worldbuilding of all their movies and just coming up with something totally new

$10 per 500-1000 word drabble

+$5 per every 500 words over that base 1000 (max I’ll do is 5000 words)

As for the kinds of writing commissions I’ll be taking, basically any theme/AU/prompt goes, but keep in mind I’ll only be writing for these three things:

Universe Falls (this includes all of its AUs)

Kingdom Hearts/Keys to the Kingdom (includes AUs as long as I’m familiar with them/comfortable writing for them)

And as for the rules of these writing prompts, they’re as such:

I won’t write any sort of porn/smut/lemon, other gross stuff

I won’t write for any ship I’m not familiar with/comfortable with

I won’t write anything with any non-canon OCs in it, sorry fam, they’re yours, not mine

Writing commissions will be done last, art commissions take priority over them

Any and all tones are allowed, from teeth-rotting fluff to the angstiest of angsts

Be as specific as possible when requesting a writing prompt, just so I can make sure I’m giving you what you want (i.e. include a brief blurb of a plot you want me to tackle, or if you don’t have one in mind, a quote or a prompt works too! Heck, even just a character interaction you might want to see me take on is fine)

OC Master List

Obviously if you’ve followed me for any length of time you will know that I have a really nasty habit of making characters of my own design. I love to be creative and make my own realities through this medium. It’s actually one of my favorite things to do. I’ve wanted to make this for a while because my friends sometimes get confused as to which OC that I’m talking about so this is the master list for everybody.

My Hero Academia: If I have any fandom where most of my OCs go it’s into the MHA fandom. I have currently five OCs in this show so let’s talk about them one by one.

Mitsuki Haruka: My first OC that I truly ever created and invented with the knowledge of doing it. Mitsu has a really special place in my heart because she was the first and the one that I work for the most in this fandom usually. Her comfort character is Katara from Avatar The Last Airbender. Her quirk is water. She can pretty much do anything with water. She can heat it, freeze it, glide around on it, whip it out of her and use something that I stole from Fairy Tail called waterlock where she locks a person inside of a body of water. Her canon partner is Tenya Iida my favorite square boi. I often talk about her with her adopted brother and my amazing friend @bio-hazard0us OC Kaku.

Violet Katsuragi: Violet is one that I don’t really talk about in great detail a whole lot because every time I try to I cry. Her family is a massive shit show and I always feel so bad for making it that way. I’m always like “My poor baby who is making you suffer so much-oh yeah it’s me sorry about that babe.” She is my “villain” OC. She is really only a member of the league so that she can stay close with her boyfriend and love of her life Twice (Jin). Her quirk is that she can control the plant tattoos that are on her arms by summoning them and using them in combat. Her comfort character is Mary Poppins because it reminds her of her older brother. Violet is an actress for a local community theater once the league disbands quietly. She and Jin also adopt Toga (a younger member of the villain league) as their own daughter to give her a second chance at life. I love her even though she’s the saddest backstory one that I have to work with it’s also the most fulfilling when I write fluff for her.

Shizuko Kanade: Another absolute baby with a crappy home life. I’m sorry that I made it that way hun but it gets better for you I promise. Shizuko is my quirkless OC and my genius tech girl. She lives below her best friend and brother in arms Denki Kaminari and they’ve been best friends since they moved into the same building together. Her comfort character is PJ from the Goof franchise especially from Goof Troop that was her favorite show to watch with her aunt when she was growing up. She starts off really chubby, the cute kind of chubby but starts drastically dropping pounds in order for her parents to love and accept her. When they still don’t Denki has enough and talks to his mom and they decide to call the police and foster Shizuko into their own home. They get a restraining order against her biological family and my best girl gets a happy home. She wants to be the first quirkless hero to rely completely on support items. (She is also partnered with Shoji if anybody is curious.)

Arashi Mitsuha: This absolute baby, I love them. Ari is my gender fluid OC that I made who started off as just your everyday cis male but then I had an idea that spiraled from Ari in eyeliner to Ari in a skirt and then we wound up with the gender fluid absolute icon that they are today. Ari has a weather quirk. Basically anything involving weather they can do it with their eyes closed. Thunder and lightning storms, tsunamis, tornados but also snow and sunshine. They’re really OP and hella versatile it makes it more fun to write their fighting style. I paired them up with Denki in your stereotypical meet-cute scenario. In terms of backstory they just had a really bad ex-boyfriend before Denki came into their life like a literal speeding bullet. Their comfort character is Hedwig from Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Litzy Diaz: My last and FINAL MHA OC I promise you. Litzy is from a small town in Mexico and transferred to UA giving herself a second chance to start anew with her new friends and away from her toxic parents. She is fostered by Aizawa and Present Mic who have already adopted Shinsou so they are brother and sister in every way but blood. Her quirk was very heavily inspired by my love of Dr Facilier in Princess And The Frog. She can control shadows, shadow travel through things such as walls and she can control her friends on the other side basically demons from the underworld. Present Mic sees her as his long lost daughter and basically worships the ground that she walks on. He loves her more than anything in the entire world. Her comfort character is Miguel from Coco and La Muerte from Book Of Life. Her canon partner is Juso from Class B.

DuckTales: I only have one DuckTales OC (thank the Gods) but she’s very special and important to me. I love the reboot of this show even if I’m way the hell behind on it (I promise I’ll catch up after Gravity Falls Donuts!!).

Sabrina Duck: Sabrina is a sister for Huey, Dewey and Louie!! She shares the title of oldest quadruplet by thirty seconds and often took over the motherly role for her siblings when their mom wasn’t there. She was always reminding them to do their homework, regulated who got TV time and who was in charge of the delegated family movie night. This resulted in a rift between her and her brother Dewey that only got bigger overtime. School was really hard for her to deal with. She was never the best at paying attention during her classes and had a really bad sensory overload one day. She was really close with her uncle Ludwig though and he offered to teach her. They have a really special bond between the two of them that I love writing for. Sabrina was the person that grounded Ludwig to not think up as many crazy inventions. She also knits!! She loves knitting sweaters for her friends and family around the holidays. I am partnering her up with Gosalyn eventually.

Star Vs The Forces Of Evil: To be perfectly honest with you guys, I have not seen the entire show. It’s really hard for me to get into it. Because when you only really love one character in the entire thing it gets harder to keep coming back for more. Especially because in the first two seasons you don’t get a whole lot of him and I’m stuck on season 2.

Allania (Nia) Alvez: I feel like out of all my OCs I am the most like Nia. She’s a half elf-half mortal princess that isn’t allowed to live with the elves so they sent her to live with her mortal father. Her dad’s run a bakery in town and she works there as an assistant baker when she isn’t preparing for her next drag show. She grew up in this family full of love and acceptance and grew excited about one day having a relationship just like her parents. Her first brush with love left her broken by the side of the road even though no relationship came of it. A lot of my feelings for my ex-best friend went into Nia’s personality. However, there is a bright side! Of course with every one of my fics so far there is a bright side that comes in the form of my favorite character Tom who gives her the love that she deserves.

Animaniacs: Of course this is me we’re talking about so there has to be an Animaniacs OC on this list! This is actually the first character that I ever made on my own free will! She has changed a lot throughout the years that I’ve had her mostly because my tastes have changed.

Elizabeth Martin: Lizzy is a member of the scene crowd, I was inspired by my best friend and what she wears every day. For the modern au that I have her in her and Yakko are dance partners in a musical theater style school. For the regular fic she’s cast as his love interest. I love this girl so much. To me she is everything that I want to be even now. Her strength and confidence to get through every situation, even the ones that she is afraid to deal with speaks volumes to how I want to be one day. One of the few things that we have in common is that we both did martial arts! She stuck with it for longer than me though and is currently a green belt in kempo karate. Her favorite musical is Fun Home because it’s the one that she relates to the most through the eyes of the mother Helen Beckdal. Her parents basically had three other kids and went here take care of these it’s your job. Every time I listen to Days and Days I think of how much she had to go through just to make sure that everything was going according to plan.

Looney Toons: Who doesn’t love Looney Toons?! We all have our personal favorite characters, mine has always been the schemer Daffy Duck. I thought that he was a combination of the funniest and had the most personality other than Bugs. I love his antics and get rich quick schemes and I thought to myself one day “How cute would it be if he had an adorable little niece who loved space?!”

Daniella Duck: This began the creation of one of the best ideas that I personally think that I have ever had. So Daniella is the only one out of all my OCs that does not have aspergers. Instead I looked at Daffy’s elongated tongue and was like “Hm something inside of me thinks that she would have down-syndrome...” At first she was just going to have a little bit of her uncle’s speech impediment but this is what happens when I get ideas when I’m working out. Daniella lives with her uncle on the warner movie lot in the show fic. I love writing for her and her uncle’s relationship because it’s soft Daffy (it’s very similar to writing for soft Grunkle Stan and I LOVE BOTH). Daniella also has an uncle figure in Bugs and Porky of course. I gave her canon partner to Wakko because I just thought that they would be SO cute together. He helps her work on her self confidence and working her way around her speech impediment. In the modern au that I have she has a brother Ding Dong (@oo-fabooo02 OC). She goes to school with Wakko, loves Ed, Ed N Eddy, helps her uncle on his podcast because Daffy is a comedian in this au and she helps him write his script for the episodes. She loves space in both aus but in the modern au she actually is able to become an astronaut!

Teen Titans\Promare: I have the same OC for both Teen Titans and for Promare but she’s more for Promare right now. What started off as just a happy au that she could have with her comfort character from the TT fic sort of spiraled into this whole other au.

Keiko Katsuragi\Fotia in the Promare au: Keiko is a really special OC in my heart. She’s adorable, fun loving, sweet and just an all around amazing girl. In the Teen Titans au she’s a lot more damaged emotionally. Her father gave her powers through a serum that she didn’t even really want (she thought that he was joking) and it caused her house to burn down. When she left Japan she was homeless until the Teen Titans found her. Keiko is a member of the decora community and loves cutesy, girly things (especially Pokémon, Sanrio characters, Spongebob, Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears). Her collection of stuffed animals is immense and intimidating. Her canon partner is Beast Boy. I’ve had Keiko since I was six and only just started to refine her and make her into an official OC. Promare au Keiko still has BB as her partner but I made him into a fire fighter for this au to work. She started off in a poly relationship with Meis and Gueira but I changed my mind. Writing the Promare au gave me the chance to make a happy unscarred Keiko. Her comfort character in this au is Dot.

Princess And The Frog: If you forced me to pick a favorite Disney movie this one would be one of the two answers that I gave to you. I have a very big soft spot for this movie in particular. It is one that changed my life when I sat there as a young child and watched the movie unfold in front of my very eyes. Every time I rewatch this movie I am reminded of how much of my childhood I spent loving hand drawn Disney animation.

Rhiannon (Rae): Rae is the daughter of Tiana and Naveen. I named her after Raymond the firefly. If you knew what a big comfort character my favorite cajun firefly is for me and my mom then her name will come as no surprise. She is the baker and pastry chef for Tiana’s Palace. Rae is a multi musically talented young girl she plays the ukulele, trumpet and accordion. When I first started writing for her I knew that I wanted her to be bisexual. So I turned to one of my favorite animation fun facts that I know. When Jim Cummings was first auditioning for Raymond they had him sing a song. This song that he sang is by Leon Russel and it’s called Cajun Love Song. It is also the song that he sings when he is untying Tiana and Naveen’s tongues. The song is about a girl named Alice. And part of my brain that makes these connections went perfect! That’ll be the name of her girlfriend. Rae is mostly a daddy’s girl. The relationship between her and Naveen was really what helped me refine her personality. Her comfort character is Rabbit from Winnie The Pooh. She is a gardener in her free time and that’s where she gets a majority of her fresh fruits and vegetables for her pastries and desserts. She isn’t really the best at being a princess. In fact she hates when she has to go and visit Maldonia. She doesn’t feel at home there and they won’t let her cook or bake anything at all because it’s not seen as ladylike. This is when she mostly feels like something is wrong with her. Why can’t she just do this one seemingly simple thing for her dad? When he does so much for her why can’t she do this? She learns that even though she isn’t perfect she is so very much loved that it’s ridiculous. Her family loves her so much and they’re willing to move hell or high water for her to be comfortable.

Gravity Falls: My most recent obsession (I did not have cable when the original show was being released please don’t kill me). I have recently been binging this show on Disney+ and have just started the second season. I hope to be done with it within the next week or so because I love it so much. My favorite character so far is definitely Grunkle Stan. I love his growth and development from a power hungry greedy old man to somebody that clearly loves the kids that are put under his care. Watching his adorable relationship with mother and the father son relationship with Dipper is something that is really close to my heart.

Twilight Pines: My most recent OC!! Twilight is the older sister of Mabel and Dipper and has been visiting Grunkle Stan for years prior to the start of the show. She’s used to his money scheming antics by now but she still loves her favorite Grunkle. Growing up, Twilight had a nervous stutter. She was shy, nervous a lot, socially awkward and was never really the best at dealing with other people. This made her comfort character Piglet from Winnie The Pooh. Her stutter is still there but it’s gotten a lot better!! She spent the year before the show starts at drama camp trying to get over her stutter. While it’s not gone completely it was a lot of progress. She has a really strong relationship with her caretaker for the summer because of the years that she’s spent with him in the past. Up until Mabel went with her for the summer she thought that she would be the only niece in his heart. See, after Mabel was born she took up a lot of the attention. Everyone wanted to look at the cute one instead of the nervous one. It’s just the way that life is. But during the summer she got to spend it being the favorite relative of somebody. When she notices how close Mabel and Stan are getting that’s when she knows that it’s over. She was naive to ever think that somebody would pick her as the favorite. Not when Mabel existed alongside her. It’s not that she doesn’t love Mabel because she clearly does. It’s just that well sometimes she wants to be loved and appreciated by her parents instead of constantly being sidelined. That’s why her summers with her Grunkle were so important to her. It was just three months out of the year. But for those three months working at the Mystery Shack and having all kinds of chaotic fun were the highlight of her year. She has to learn that she has her own values too. One’s that while don’t oversell her sister are still her’s and they are still beautiful. She learns that her parents love and care about her just as much as her sister. It’s just hard to be a show stealer in this house let’s be honest. Twilight is a pansexual and her canon partner is Wendy.

Mercilessly Judging the Men of Fòdlan: The Alliance

It’s been a long time coming, over eight months in fact, but now that it may be assumed that the last of the DLC has been released and the fandom as a whole has settled comfortably into its various camps I think there’s no better time than now to answer that burning question: how raunchily, outrageously gay can the male cast of Three Houses possibly be? For those unfamiliar with this fun little series of mine, I’ve been applying my extensive knowledge and experience of gay male sex and hookup culture to the men of Fire Emblem, originally as a way of reckoning with the refusal of the games themselves to provide me with any worthwhile self-insert M/M content. I stand by that premise for FE16 - you all know how absolutely nothing appeals to me about m!Byleth or his prospects on that score - but in the years since my first outing of merciless judgment with Awakening that idea has expanded into something broader, an imaginative modern AU of sorts where all these guys are into men (if not always exclusively) and willing to put themselves out there in the lewd and semi-anonymous world of hookup apps in search of their preferred carnal delights.

A note on organization before we begin, as this material is too long to cram into one post. Excluding Byleth (as Avatars and their spawn always are for this project) there are twenty-one playable male characters in Three Houses. This makes for an even threeway division to preserve the eponymous conceit of the game, but not a particularly neat one. Aligned with the Leicester Alliance I therefore have below the male Deer, Almyran and former Goneril indentured servant Cyril, runaway Alliance noble Balthus, and Alois because his biography states that he’s the son of a merchant family. The Alliance is the nation most associated with successful mercantilism, so there.

Indecipherable from the start. The alluring shirtless selfie and goofy profile read like a fun and easy lay, but rather than sending nudes he engages in long meandering conversations that last for days or weeks before the first meeting.
