og shakes his head, taking his bottom lip between teeth as he considers for a moment. “ no, i know. i ended up finding then when they were running from something, they’d fucked off to go to the beach and told me that wanted to be alone. ”

makoto only glances over towards the living room, watching as mura turns his attention towards the kitchen before sakurai’s head emerges from the couch and they nearly leap out of their skin. he chooses to not question it, eyes back on kazuya as he drinks what of made.

mura says nothing, only slowly looking back towards sakurai, blinking stupidly at them before the lean forward and gently toss a pack of goldfish their way. it’s not much, but it’s better than nothing / not the kimchi from last night and he forces himself to look away, thinking back to the way he spiraled and kazuya now says he heard something and — mura is stalling out, actually.

“ i don’t know, ” kazuya answers honestly, not speaking loud enough for his voice to carry rooms over. “ like… struggle. coughing or something, then running up the stairs. ” if he wasn’t dunk off his ass at the time and busy cuddling his sleeping boyfriend, he’d have gone to check. “ talking, before that, but i dunno what it was about. it all just sounded like… ” he squints, vaguely motioning in front of his face. “ muffled? or like loud whispers or some shit? i dunno, noise carries down here at night, but i was wasted, so fuck knows. ”

shuuzou pouts up at makoto - but does as he's told, because he's good, and does that, usually. " he says. he sips the coffee slow -- ( as slow as he can drink it which is to say that he doesn't drink it slow at all. ) momoi hums, " no. i've seen them crash at practice before too. he could have been eating, and just crashed. " momoi pulls out her phone seemingly out of thin air, to flip open her camera roll, and scrolls for a bit before she finds one of ryou passed out in the locker room holding onto a ball, and turns it around to show everyone. " dai-chan found him and took a picture and sent it to me. after they go so long without sleep, they will crash any and everywhere mid-whatever they're doing. " momoi frowns, " i think at one point, imayoshi-senpai actually pulled him out of a thing of paint once, because they nodded off into it. another time they fell asleep on the train, on the way to a game, which isn't unusual really, but it is considering that no one noticed he wasn't with us until we were all in the locker room. dai-chan had to go get them. " she pauses, " also if yo-chan is much more likely to ignore something than run - but if they run, then they literally, just leave town ? he's rich rich. " she shifts, before she picks up yama-chan's concontion, and tilts her head back and drinks it, in one gulp, hoping that it helps. tatsuya hums, and finishes off og's drink, before he grabs another water. a crossfade headache is the worst actually. he moves to sit himself on the counter. " considering, " he squints his eyes, " i know he asked to sleep in atsushi's and og's room last night because " he waves his hand at og and momoi, " not wanting to disturb them and he sent me and zuya and then mako and shuu off. " and that's about all that he really remembers of that time, " i don't think he sent atsushi off ? " ryou shifts, kicks something -- and dazed he sits up, confusion on his face when he hears voices, stretching and yawning like a cat. he squeezes his eyes shut a hand coming up to rub at his face, and momoi looks over when she hears a noise, " they're up. " ryou's hand comes down and he sits there, confused and dazed for a moment, not registering anything else, but the fact that his neck -- is scratchy ? scratch it, and so he does. he blinks, slowly at atsushi now, and then nearly jumps out of their skin once their brain registers that someone else is there.

This might be one of the weirdest mini projects I’ve ever worked on. It all started when I was scrolling through tumblr and stumbled upon some ship kids from another fandom and thought to myself man. Dazai and Fyodor would be horrible parents.

In this AU, Ilya Dazai, Fyodor and Dazai’s son goes by “Ken Hara.” He relinquished Dazai’s surname, due to Reasons, and he simply doesn’t go by Ilya because it’s difficult to pronounce. Ilya is the name that Fyodor gave him (which Dazai just decided to keep as Ken’s name), as well as the cross earring, but Ken has no idea who Fyodor is. All he knows is that his “mother” left him on Dazai’s doorstep one day, 17 years ago. Ken is eager to find “her.”

As for what happened between Ken and Dazai, and Atsushi’s reaction in this comic, I’d say that all of them are a little in the wrong. Ken was being unfair, Dazai was emotionally unavailable, and Atsushi is like that one uncle who cares a lot about you, but he also happens to be friends with your dad (who you hate) for 20 years and who also saved him from a life of suffering and poverty.

Sicktember Day 18: "Wear a coat, you'll catch a cold"

Many years ago I wrote a boueibu ficlet that involved En-chan being a Responsible Adult (tm) and making sure Yumoto wore his jacket in a blizzard. I don't think I ever posted that fic but it was the first thing I thought of when I saw this prompt.

Anyway here's En-chan not being a Responsible Adult (tm) and EnAtsu being cute and domestic

“Wear your coat, you’ll catch a cold. You know Atsushi, I used to think that was just an old wives’ tale.”

Atsushi frowned. “It’s true that the cold weather itself doesn’t actually make you sick but, you know En-chan, I’m surprised at you. Wearing a coat in this weather is just common sense isn’t it?”

“I told you, it wasn’t that cold before.”

It had started as a typical end-of-autumn day. The sun was shining, the leaves were falling, and the outside air was cool and crisp as it blew through the mountain town. It was jacket weather to be sure, but En had not considered it the bundle-up kind of jacket weather. So though he had worn a coat, he hadn’t bothered buttoning it despite Atsushi’s grumbling, and had let it billow behind in the wind on their walk up the stairs.

He was wearing it properly now. He was wearing Atsushi’s jacket as well as a second layer as he shivered in his seat and blew hot air into his hands. It didn’t help. En had suspected the heating was off or the window was cracked open, but Atsushi diligently checked both.

“Running around without your jacket like that… that feels more like something Yumoto would do.”

“Yumoto doesn’t get cold.”

“Ryuu then. Having his jacket flapping behind him like that. I bet he’d think he would look cool.”

En gave him a miserable look. “So I’m being compared to Ryuu…”

“Huh? Is that worse?”

“Of course it’s worse. It’s…” En decided he didn’t want to explain. What he wanted was to get warm already, before the homeroom teacher finally came in and forced him to take off his extra layers.

Atsushi reached into his backpack. Ever prepared, he pulled out a scarf and wrapped it around En’s shoulders.

“Better?”

“Not really, but thanks.”

Atsushi gave him a sympathetic smile. “Honestly En-chan, I always thought you’d be all for bundling up. Think about it? A thick marshmallow coat, wrapped around you like a warm cocoon. I bet you could fall asleep immediately!”

“Do you know how uncomfortable those things are? No one wears them for sleeping!” Although that kind of poofy coat sounded really nice right about now. “Besides those things are for the dead of winter. It was way too hot for it this morning.”

“It really wasn’t,” Atsushi muttered and reached into his backpack once again, this time pulling out a dark green thermos. He set it on En’s desk.

“It’s oolong tea. Drink up.”

“What kind of high-schooler carries around oolong tea?”

“Did I mention it’s hot?”

“That’s my Atsushi.” With trembling fingers, En pulled off the cup and unscrewed the top. The thermos itself was cool but the liquid inside was steaming and quickly warmed the plastic cup it was poured into. Rather than drink it, En just wanted to warm his hands around it. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I just can’t get warm.”

“Honestly? You might have a fever,” Atsushi whispered. Despite all the earlier teasing, his brow was knitted in concern. “Aside from the cold, do you feel okay?”

“I don’t know. I feel like it if I go to sleep now, I might never wake up.”

“You’re not that cold.” Just in case though, he reached over to feel En’s forehead. But between En’s cold skin and Atsushi’s cold hands, he couldn’t really tell. “En-chan, maybe you should go to the nurse? Wrap yourself up in some blankets, take some medicine… If it’s bad enough, maybe Hara-sensei could send you home.”

“After all the trouble I went through coming here?” And not just the school, the classroom. En had already curled up in his seat. The idea of stretching back out and braving the frozen halls was unappealing.

But Tawarayama-sensei would come in any moment now, and dealing with Wombat would be an even bigger pain.

“Yeah… I’m going,” he decided, forcing himself to get up. “Can I keep the jacket?”

“Sure. Take the tea too.”

“Really?”

“I’m not drinking it after you if you’re sick.”

“Touché.” En quickly downed what he’d poured before and closed the thermos back up. “See you later then.”

“Mm. Feel better En-chan. I’ll come check on you during the break.”

En shivered as he left the arm. Atsushi let out a sigh as he prepared for the first period.

The rest of their class pretended not to have seen anything.

it doesn't take too much longer to make it to the complex and the entire time they walk, atsumo's doing nothing other than asking himself a million and one why's, all of which are the same thing in different fonts. why did it matter? why would it have? what's up with kazuya / to be the one to get so upset after ghosting someone else? why did that even happen to start with. " it's the third floor, " he tells ryou mindlessly, already walking for the elevator. once they're in it, he presses the button for the third floor. " my dad's not in, and he shouldn't be coming back any time soon, but if he does... " he trails, wondering how it'll be taken, " we don't have the best relationship, so it might be better if you leave if it comes to that. " he doesn't actually want to kick him out. the elevator opens and he steps out with ryou, fishing out keys and walking up to the door. he unlocks it easily, pushing the door open and allowing ryou inside first. " if that happens, i'm sorry in advance. "

kazuya lets out a slow breath, eyes settling on shuuzou's hand as it falls and stays there. he's okay / shuu said so, so he's okay. that's enough for him. he wets his lips, blinking away the feeling of rejection since that's not what this is — he said it wasn't, so it's not. still, he doesn't know, but kazuya doesn't want to think. he raises his head, unaware of when it fell, and kisses him again. breaks it to speak, still close, " yes. " lidded eyes settle on shuuzou's lips as he whispers. " it's what i need. " to not feel anything more complicated / to suffocate his lingering negative feelings with something more positive isn't what he wants. " i need you to use me and fuck me until you break me. " eyes flutter closed, dropping his hand atop shuu's. " i don't want to feel anything. i can't handle it right now. " he'll deal with it all later. " so fuck me like you hate me, if you have to. "

" probably, " mura mumbles, feeling nothing in particular about them all most likely going their own way. it's probably for the better, after all. " if you do, are you still going to follow minechin? " she's been doing that for as long as he's known her / doesn't need to check in to know that she's always there. " or will you do your own thing, finally? you can't follow him forever. "

" don't remind me, i might just burn the park down later. " naturally, makoto's not serious, but he's sure that tatsuya will get a kick out of it. still, he moves on with a shrug, hands pushed into pockets in search of his phone to check the time. " because, from what i know, his entire life is a shitshow and any time he's shown some level of stability that's more than he's used to, he doesn't know how to take it. " so it goes without saying, he does whatever he needs to do to rip the carpet out from underneath himself. " but i don't think he's fully aware of it. these past few years, he's seemingly calmer — less extreme, at least. compared to some of the things i've heard from other people or compared to what he's told me. he's old enough to move out now without anyone questioning it, and when we graduate, there's really nothing stopping him from leaving — he could do it now, but still — find his own peace and run from what's terrorizing him. find somewhere safe, calm, and good to him. " but will he? makoto thinks about it for a moment. " i think prolonged peace is a threat to him. "

ryou blinks, and then nods a welcome. there's nothing really for him to say / so he follows atsumo. well. this day can't really get any more shitty , can it ? first whatever -- that was with ha-chan and the panic attack. and he just wanted to have a decent day too. there's plenty of ways to distract a person - shuuzou, often chooses the most extreme. fighting. fucking. anything to not think. " yes, " undoubtedly so. kazuya is good and loved and appreciated and wanted. " you're okay, moonbeam. " he repeats, pressing lips harder against his , letting thumb rub against cheek. he's ignoring his own father's voice in the back of his head for kazuya. to focus on a beautiful boy that's underneath him whose sad and broken like he is. he can ignore his father / he's been doing it for years. he breaks the kiss , to capture his breathe, and laser focuses his gaze on kazuya's face. " he will of course, if kazuya says yes, and because he knows himself / knows kazuya too, he clarifies, " i'm not rejecting you - i'm double checking because i can fuck you until you can't even remember how to spell your name but if that isn't what you want then you need to say that, " a pause, " because if you want me to sleep with you, moonbeam, i can do that too. " momoi's brows furrow as she gazes up at him and she nods. she sees it. honestly -- " i think the only ones that might go on is dai-chan, " and she's sadden by that too, " and kagamin. " she chews on her lips for a moment, " i might go into sports myself. i'm really good at managing other people. i enjoy bossing people around. i don't know what else i could do. " tatsuya is staring before he moves his gaze towards makoto. " well. they're either avoiding everything or everything is fine. " most likely, avoiding everything. he catches up to his boyfriend whose started to walk away, shaking his head. " i don't know what i expected but it wasn't that and i'm not even surprised by it. " still, he and makoto were talking so he brings it back around, " why do you think he's feeling threatened ? "

Niihara's Ability, Flawless Dispute (天イムホ 羅生門,, Ten'imuho rashōmon), allows him to materialize a marionette dagger-wielding phantom, known as Ryūnosuke, which only follows the orders of those that know it's name. When retrieving contradicting orders, it has the free will to choose unless it is from Niihara, in which the other person's will have priority.

The orders however, do not only affect the Ability, but also Niihara himself. It also allows him to utilize the marionette strings by using the thread of an inhabited piece of clothing, he used this to make others believe that Phantom has a cloth manipulation ability. Both the phantom's blades and threads can cut through anything.

There is an original episode called Flawless Dispute, centered around Tsushima being in Paris and setting off Niihara's fuse

Another original Akuma is one that exaggerates the targets physical weakness, this caused Lordbug to cough up blood under his mask and be unable to stand

Niihara was murdered for two reasons,

1) The Hinata's found out how to control his Ability

2) And an order from the Port Mafia Boss because he was starting to defect from the organization and bringing Kouyou along with him

He slowly grew to trust Atsushi before he was revealed as a Rat, even revealing his identity to the Weretiger

Ryūnosuke grew to respect Chuuya Kagami from their time in the Mafia

Rubi (流火/Ryūka), Gin's Mafia Alias, means 'flow' (流/Nagare) and 'fire' (火/Hi). Together this means 'drifting fire'

In the Tower Arc, Phantom pretends to be a client for the agency using the Alias 'Suke Agura'

Phantom Kidnaps Atsushi by befriending and luring him alone

Phantom looses the fight on the ship (like cannon BSD), despite the whole deck being covered in cloth

His Agura appearance is one he commonly uses in the Mafia if he wants people to know it's him, but still goes by Phantom

Because of his paranoia, Niihara often had a wide eyed stare
