Chara Starhunter
Tumblr media
❌NAME: Chara Starhunter ❌ Pronounces: She/her ❌Age: 18 ❌Gender: Female ❌Personality: Despite her serious looking demeanor she is welcoming of anyone who wishes to talk to her. However she is also a no shit taker. So if threatened or looked down on she won’t hesitate to throw a punch to defend herself or others. ❌ Side: For Freedom ❌About or story: Chara Starhunter is from a Star Wars AU and is a former imperial Ace pilot and is considered the youngest Ace pilot of the imperial academy. Top marks. A strong resistance to G-Force capable of handling turns that could harm anyone. And leader of the first Commando Experiment Squad known as “Circus Squad” (Because unlike the gray hue every imperial pilot had on their fighters. Theirs differentiates with many colors, as if like a circus) She became known as the “Red Baroness” (as a reference to the red Baron) and was seen as a highly decorated star pilot. However an incident caused her to lose her whole squadron who she saw as her own family. Because of this she went rogue and began to harass the Company that abandoned her and her pilots to a suicide mission. After escaping from a chase in battle her ship had a malfunction which caused her hyper speed escape to break the barrier between worlds. Causing her to crash into the anti-void. Where she was introduced to the multiverse.
She found herself in the unnamed universe and deciding to put her skills to good use. With help of getting her ship fixed and fueled she signed up with the Red Squad. Working as an infiltrator at times but mostly eyes in the sky and air combatant. She is always looking for new missions in order to help those in need.
❌Sector: Homebased at B. Tends to go to C a lot on missions.
❌Powers and capacity: Has no magic but is good at hand to hand combat (she works out at the gym). She is also good with her blasters and doesn’t miss like a typical storm trooper. But her go-to is her star fighter.
Equipment:
Modified EC-17 hold-out blaster with proper scope setting and flash pistol function. Able to shoot a bolt that can blind her enemies when fired.
WESTAR-35 Mandalorian pistol. Usually used when having to go on team missions. Basic pistol functions with self recharging power battery.
GALAAR-15 (CURRENTLY BROKEN) Assault rifle she found along with the WESTAR on her home planet she was visiting to scavenge for supplies. Weapon’s power cell and inner mechanical functions damaged and is useless until repaired.
Modified TIE/HU Hunter multi-role starfighter. Colored Red. Call sign “Heartbreaker”. Preferred to be used by Chara. Capable of hyperdrive, shields, ion blasters, laser canons, and up to 12 proton torpedoes. The twin ion engines and S-foils helps this starfighter be deadly with both with both fire power and speed. Navigation system shotty due to being in new universe. However constantly updated when on a new mission to a new place.
————————————————————————————-
Character for @1unnamed-universe Discord server
So yeah I made a new chara combining both Star Wars and undertale XD Two my fave fandoms. Course in the Star Wars AU she didn’t go down the usual Chara path. She is an absolute bad ass and I love her. Especially the ship she flying. I loved the Tie Hunters when I was a kid playing rogue squadron.
Tumblr media
I thought I would do something interesting by having a starfighter Chara with many modified stuff to help her in battle.
So am gonna have fun playing her. One day I hope to get her ship designed with a proper ref. I’ll give more details of her background soon but for now just gonna have the standard ref and info.

PT-19 Patrol Bomber
Concept: A Star Wars version of a B-17 (or B-24 or B-25) combined with a PT Boat built by Koensayr Manufacturing. A Purpose built bomber of similar size to a light freighter with a crew of a dozen or so, very little free space.  Its a Fast Attack Vessel with a primary role of bombing and assault with secondary roles as Recon, SAR, and as a Picket ship.  The goal was to make something that looked as little like a Corellian ship as possible.
One of the key concepts is that this is purpose built, it is not a modified or converted light freighter.  The backstory I have in mind is that it is created by Koensayr Manufacturing, but that perhaps its major sub-contractor was SoroSuub and after the first line was produced there was a breakdown in the contract between the two companies.  For this reason, there aren't many of these, but perhaps the talented and innovative engineers of the Rebel Alliance got their hands on the plans and have been able to produce some more.  However, these are expensive to build and maintain, so they are fairly rare yet highly sought after by Rebel leaders.  These ships are over-powered and over-gunned and take a talented crew to maintain and operate.
Weapon systems and equipment include:   - 6 Quad Laser Cannons (tail, nose, dorsal, ventral, port, and starboard)  - Proton Bomb system (like the TIE Bomber)  - Either Concussion Missiles or Proton Torpedoes (forward facing)  - An Ion Cannon (forward facing)  - an excellent ComScan suite  - On board is perhaps a medstation (but not a full medbay), tight packed quarters, some storage but not alot of space for extra cargo, a small crew "lounge" which serves for dining and recreation
Crew Compliment of 12:  - Pilot/Capt (1): Experienced pilot and leader; an Officer  - Co-Pilot/XO (1): also an experienced pilot and leader just typically less experienced than the Captain; an Officer  - Tactical (1): experienced warrior to coordinate all weapons; a Warrant Officer  - Bombardier (1) : the most important position on the ship, the whole reason it exists; an experienced Petty Officer  - Quartermaster (1): Astrogation assistant, ship systems control, Comm-Scan, Damage Control, loadmaster; an experienced Petty Officer  - Engineer (1): ship's engineer, backed up by the Quartermaster and gunners in emergencies; an experienced Petty Officer  - Gunners (6): all have a 2nd position: asst. engineer, asst. bombardier, damage control, medic, etc; Junior Enlisted - Petty Officers

The local Armads group hosted a mini tournament yesterday with eight players. As usual, a great experience for everyone involved - and a remarkable Republic presence (3/8 fleets were republic). I decided to field my Republic Ignition Spam list (affectionately titled „Big Guns and (S)Phat Buns“:
Tumblr media
Faction: Republic
Commander: Admiral Tarkin
Assault: Opening Salvo
Defense: Fleet Ambush
Navigation: Solar Corona
Victory I (75)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• SPHA-T (7)
• Assault Concussion Missiles (5)
= 91 Points
Consular Armed Cruiser (37)
• Clone Navigation Officer (4)
• Radiant VII (1)
• Munitions Resupply (3)
= 45 Points
Venator I (90)
• Admiral Tarkin (30)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• Take Evasive Action! (6)
• SPHA-T (7)
• Assault Proton Torpedoes (4)
• Heavy Fire Zone (4)
= 145 Points
Venator I (90)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• Mercy Mission (0)
• SPHA-T (7)
• Assault Proton Torpedoes (4)
• Heavy Fire Zone (4)
• Resolute (6)
= 115 Points
No squadrons, but then again, two Venators with Heavy Fire Zone provided quite the anti-squadron firepower.
My first match up was against the tournament organizer - a MSU list with a strong Rogue-Fighter element:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I managed to bluff my way around, feinting left and then sweeping right, hoping to delay engagement long enough to avoid losing a ship. S-PHAT and Heavy Fire Zone proved to be a deterrent; however a very well executed attack on my Victory ended the game. Thanks to Mercy Mission, however, I only lost 5:6.
Second game was against another Republic list - a list focusing on Salvo and Repair. Since S-PHAT ignores Salvo, it was a boring game - that was won by me scoring Mercy Mission. 6:5.
Tumblr media
Last game, I decided to go all out against a Rebel fleet led by Ackbar. The combination of Home One, Ackbar and Quad Turbolaser Cannons was…nasty. Negating Defense Tokens is never nice.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I lost both Venators, but took out both the Assault Frigate and the MC80 as well as his GR-75. with a scored Mercy mission, it was enough for a 7:5. (the third picture is his first broadside against my flagship on turn 2. No dice modification needed apparently.
Overall, I scored 18 points, 4th place out of 8 contenders. Considering this was an oddball list I only played three times before, I am very happy with the result!

K-Wing Assault Starfighter/Bomber - Built by Koensayr Manufacturing (the same company that made the Y-Wings) for the New Republic. The K-Wings were the next line of bombers after the older Y-Wings. The K-Wings’ main missions were precision bombing of planetary targets, slow-moving enemy capital ships, and spaceborne installations. Their secondary missions were being escorts or reconnaissance ships.
Tumblr media
K-Wings were very lethal fighters, as they were armed to the teeth with flechétte and concussion missiles, proton and other sublight torpedoes, thermal and other inertial bombs, small space mines, and last but not least; T-33 plasma torpedoes.
However, the only downside was that K-Wings had no hyperdrive, therefore, these bombers required to be carried by a capital ship.

BTL-S8 K-wing assault starfighters were heavy combination fighter/bombers used by the New Republic. Developed to serve as a powerful weapon against larger ships with the backup strength to survive, K-wings were brutally effective in their role. They required a crew of four (one pilot, one bombardier, and two gunners), and came equipped with shielding, but no hyperdrive, intended for deployment from larger vessels. K-wings carried a massive armament of laser and turbolaser cannons, concussion missiles, proton torpedos, and flachette missiles.

The RZ-1 A-wing interceptor, also known as the RZ-1 A-wing starfighter, was a wedge-shaped starfighter manufactured by Kuat Systems Engineering, which took design inspiration from the Republic starfighters of the Clone Wars. Based on the original R-22 prototype, the early rebel movement adopted the fighter against the Galactic Empire, letting these so-called RZ-1s see action during the Age of the Empire and the Galactic Civil War. The updated RZ-2 variant would replace the RZ-1 after the Battle of Endor, and would see use thirty years later during the conflict between the Resistance and the First Order.
X-wing starfighters were a type of starfighter marked by their distinctive S-foils that resembled the High Galactic script's character "X" in attack formation. They were heavily armed with four laser cannons on the S-foils and proton torpedo launchers in the fuselage. X-wings were designed for dogfighting and long missions. During the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance used X-wing models like the T-65B X-wing starfighter and T-65C-A2 X-wing in many battles, deploying X-wings in engagements such as the Attack on Lothal, the Battle of Yavin, the Battle of Endor, and the Battle of Jakku.Approximately thirty years later, a different and upgraded variation of X-wing, the T-70, was used by the Resistance, whereas a more advanced model, the T-85, was used by the New Republic Defense Fleet.
The Y-wing bomber, or more simply the BLT-series, Y-wing fighter, or Y-wing and nicknamed after the wallowing pigs, was a series of multi role starfighter-bomber ships manufactured by "Koensayr manufacturing". The starfighter was commissioned by the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, and would later become a standard fighter for the rebellion during the Galactic Civil War. Notable models include the original 2-seated BTL-B Y-wing starfighter/bomber; it's successor, the BTL-S3 Y-wing starfighter, and the single-seated BLT-A4 Y-wing assault fighter.
The A/SF-01 B-wing starfighter, manufactured by Slayn & Korpil, was a relatively poor dogfighter, but it was primarily designed as a "blockade buster" to attack and destroy large capital ships. As such, it was equipped with weaponry and systems normally reserved for much larger craft. Indeed, the B-wing boasted more firepower than most patrol ships and corvettes. At the same time, it was slower and less maneuverable than a Y-wing, gave off a significant infrared signature, and required more maintenance than any other Rebel starfighter. The primary airfoil took up the length of the hull, with the cylindrical command pod at one end and a weapons pod at the other, and an engine cluster in between. Two S-foils just below the engine on either side of the main airfoil provided similar functionality to those on the X-wing starfighter but featured more advanced actuator technology and locking mechanisms. Anti-gravity generators and repulsorlift projectors were mounted in the S-foils.

The jump was lucky—partially.
It’s not every day pilots see a Jedi girl climbing up the front face of a TIE Assault Shuttle.
“That kid’s crazy!” one of the pilots exclaimed.
“Should we shake her off?!” the co-pilot suggested.
It was too late for them to try out that plan, because you’ve already kicked the entry hatch open and jumped in.
“Hello there!” you beamed.
From behind, you sensed a Scout Trooper and his commander lunge at you with their batons but you easily deflected both of their weapons.
“Oh, she’s a bold one!” the scout trooper blurted.
You repaid that comment with a smug smile and quickly got rid of the troopers. The pilots couldn’t take their eyes off of the Jedi, alternating their attention between the controls and you. They knew they were next when the two scouts troopers fell dead on the floor of the ship. One of them resumed control over the ship, it was the one who proposed to swerve the ship when you were still outside—and he put his plan to work.
Both pilots hung tight on their seats while you pawed the air in search for something to hold on to. You hugged the wall for support as they continued swerving the ship.
From the rebels’ point of view, they saw the large TIE hovering and swerving in place. They could only imagine what’s happening inside that ship.
“Look at TIE, it looks like it’s out of control!” Aqua Five pointed out.
“But we didn’t hit it!” Maroon Eight replied.
“No, that’s [y/n]!” Cal cut in, shepherding your Interceptor into the skirmish and letting R-12 take on the guns while you’re away. “Try not to get roasted, R-12!”
“Beeee-woop!”
“Yeah, she’s insane,” Cal repeated, agreeing with your own droid’s comment. “Good thing she’s not hearing that!”
“[y/n] is… driving that TIE?!” the operator exclaimed, absolutely flabbergasted at the stunt you pulled. “The droid’s controlling her ship! That kid’s crazy!”
While the AT-ATs are still out of range, the rebels still have a fighting chance in protecting the base. Cal continued taking on the reins of command.
“Guns, see if two of you can take down the AT-ATs!” the ground command radioed and Cal overheard.
“No, their armor is impregnable! Their weak spots are too narrow for our guns!” Cal cuts in.
“Well, what do you suggest, Interceptor One?”
“Tow cables!” Cal cried in epiphany. “Maroon Three, follow my lead!”
“Copy that, Interceptor One!”
The ship tailed Cal. They sank on the fine line between the tree canopies and the legs of the iron giants. The young Jedi connected his communication to his companion.
“Maroon Three, you copy?”
“Loud and clear, Interceptor!”
Cal instructed the fighter to fly low enough in the same level as the AT-ATs’ knees before releasing their tow cables.
“Three passes should be enough! Don’t worry about their fire, the heads can’t look down that low!”
Meanwhile, back in the TIE shuttle, the ship continued to swerve and the nausea frustrated you. When the pilot opened fire, you evaded that single shot that cost the pilots their lives—you’re standing behind the auxiliary power grid and that blast met a different mark.
The auxiliary power was now cooked and is sputtering sparks all over. You finished off the pilots as soon as the swerving ceased when the one who opened fire realized his grave mistake. You took over the pilot’s seat and made quick work of converting its frequency to open range.
“That TIE shuttle’s trying to transmit something,” Cere spotted the soundwave register in the screen from the base.
“This is [y/n] of Interceptor Two, I have hacked the TIE shuttle’s communications. The auxiliary power has been damaged, integrity is at 60% but is going down fast!”
“Get out of there, [y/n], or you’ll go down with it!”
You heeded Cere’s warning, but you weren’t able to reply—your attention was immediately stolen by the thundering thud of the metal giant stumbling to the forest floor, followed by the loud twang of a snapped tow cable around the second AT-AT’s legs. You steered the TIE shuttle to face the last AT-AT standing, the transmitter beeped to your end.
It was Cal, “[y/n], what are you doing this time?”
“Relax, I got it covered!”
“I hope it does because from the looks of it—no, it doesn’t!”
“Just tell R-12 that I’ll be hitching a ride in a bit!”
You found the lever for the auto-pilot and cranked the gear to the highest speed, you stepped back, aligning to the entry hatch above your head as the TIE shuttle rams towards the AT-AT. The TIE was now mere inches away from the walker—that was your cue to escape through the same way you came in—and you’re already sprinting away from the TIE and onto the walker—which was more stable ground.
“There she is, R-12! On the walker’s back, hurry!”
“Beeee!”
The droid steered the Interceptor to your exact location while retracting the glass dome cover of the cockpit, he was close but the surface you’re standing on was beginning to incline and you had to stand on fours to keep yourself stable.
“Come on, R-12!” you encouraged through the grit of your teeth.
“BEEEEE!! TRILL, WOOP!”
You propped yourself in a runner’s starting stance and sprang off before the TIE shuttle imploded and proceeded to take down the walker with it. Had you waited a second later, you wouldn’t have closed the distance of that leap of faith. You thudded on the hull of your Interceptor and crawled quickly to the cockpit.
“I KNEW I COULD COUNT ON YOU, BUDDY!!” you whooped and regained full control of the starfighter.
The droid scolded you and at the same time cheered you on as you flew to the dogfight. The gunships were able to cover the starfighters from a safe distance away from the rest of the TIE Fighters.
“YOU ARE INSANE!!” Cal scolded you, bellowing through your radio. “That was probably stupidest thing you’ve done this month!”
“It’s not stupid if it works!!” you screeched back, the adrenaline levels are through the roof in your system as you steered your way back to the skirmish.
Cal can’t stay mad at you, after all, he actually agreed with you on that.
The two of you opened fire at the enemy lines until none of them have gotten close or have dealt critical damage against the base.
“People on the ground, how are you back there?” you call.
“We’re still here, don’t worry! A TIE Fighter got a shot on us but nothing critical!” Cere responded. “We’re taking care of the ground quite well from the Stormtroopers here!”
“Perfect, we’ll keep it up and I’ll be just in time for a scolding once this is all over!”
Your excitement has made you reckless and your joker side is showing. Oddly enough, your out-of-place-and-time enthusiasm and optimism were boosting the squad’s morale, while still keeping a serious tone when strategizing real-time in the middle of the crossfire.
“I’m being tailed!” one of the gunship pilots screeched through his transmitter.
At the top spot of your windshield, you saw a trio of TIE Fighters tailing the gunship with a cartoonish graffiti of a thermal detonator.
“I see you, Bomber! I’m coming to you!”
“Hurry! They’re just missing me by a hair strand!”
“R-12, are my proton torpedoes charged?”
“Weee-woop!”
“Good,” you flicked open a glass cover on the dashboard, revealing a second analog controller. “This is where the fun begins!”
You accelerated the ship until you got close enough to the cluster of TIEs ganging up on the rebel gunship.
“Bomber see if you can maneuver to a curve so you’re out of the line of fire, I’m sending some torpedoes on those vermin’s way!”
“Roger!”
The gunship did as you were told and when the friendly got far enough, your targeting monitor reflected the three TIEs on your screen and when they aligned in the grid, you threw all the pressure of your thumb on the second analog controller—two torpedoes jetted through the sky while you used the guns to take down the third.
“Thanks, Interceptor Two!”
“Don’t sweat it! We need every single one to win this thing!”
Every fighter in the sky and everyone in the ground heard you. Suddenly, your confidence and bravery infected everyone. The tables have turned for the Imps. The starfighters were the ones ganging up on the lone or pairs of TIE Fighters and are thinning the herd in a dramatic scale.
“We’re slowly gaining the upper hand!” the second-in-command to Captain Miccah reported as he pointed at the blips on the holograph; there were more white and blue blips than red.
“That’s good,” Cere rubbed her hands together, shaking off the tension. “They just need to keep pushing.”

“The target is ray-shielded so you’ll have to use proton torpedoes.”
No, that doesn’t mean that it blocks laser-rays, it means that thermal detonators and seismic charges won’t be able to pass through, you need to have super-fast, proton-shielded weapons in order to make it past the barrier.
“Sir! We’ve lost our bridge deflector shield!”
No, the thing you just saw blow up wasn’t the shield generator, that was a sensor dome that was on the bridge and was protected by the bridge deflector shield, and the fact that it just blew up means that the bridge deflector shield was down because parts of the bridge are blowing up.
Also, the Sanctuary Moon had its own deflector shield that needed to be dropped in order for the shuttle to access the planet, this one was separate from the shield generator protecting the Death Star, if there wasn’t a shield generator there then the Rebels could have swooped down and blown up the shield generator or its power stations with a simple air assault. This secondary shield is important because when the Death Star blew up, its debris didn’t just rain down on the planet, it impacted against the shield that was still up. We can assume that the Rebels took the planetary shield generator shortly after the battle, or that the storm of debris overwhelmed it, or that the controllers simply surrendered when they saw that the Death Star had blown up. That, or Luke phoned in the codes from his shuttle and said “I’ve got Vader” and held up his dad’s helmet and they said “Oh, right away, sir!” and dropped the shield and let the Rebels in.
The movies aren’t that complex.

HEY, LET ME YELL ABOUT SOME STAR WARS SHIPS.  THE FLYING KIND THIS TIME.  One of the banes of my existences is loving the worldbuilding of a particular canon, but not having it laid out for me in a way that’s organized for me to easily find what I’m looking for at any given moment.  And flipping through (the sadly no longer canon, but still incredibly useful!) Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Incredible Vehicles (see here for info!) really helped me get my head around a lot of it and finally able to organize these pages into a more “easy to find what kind of vehicle you need for a specific type of scene” list! But what I really wanted was to see a canon reference guide organized into size/use sections, to better reference when I needed either a massive star ship or when I needed to know the name of a speeder a given character might use.  (This focuses on the Clone Wars era, but if you want Empire/Rebellion era or First Order era info, feel free to give me a yell.) Encyclopedia of Starfighters and Other Vehicles: MASSIVE SHIPS:   ➞ Republic Attack Cruiser -  “The war between the Republic and the Separatists leads to a demandfor larger and more powerful battleships.  The Republic Navy expands to include the Reupblic attack cruisers, massive warships often referred to as "Star Destroyers". (Venator-class Star Destroyers can carry more than 420 starfighters (including V-wings, X-95 Headhunters, and Jedi starfighters); 40 LAAT/i gunships; and 24 AT-ETs.)"   ➞ Acclamator-class Assault Ship (Transgalactic Military Transport Ship) - "These assault ships are a predecessor of the later Star Destroyers.  They are built for the Clone Wars, under false orders supposedly issued by the Jedi Council.  This is all part of Darth Sidious's evil plan to take over the galaxy.  (During the Clone Wars, Acclamator-class ships are stationed at Coruscant, ready to carry clone troopers across the galaxy.)(Unlike many craft of this size, Acclamator-class assault ships can land on planets, where they deploy Republic forces in an effort to retake the worlds from Separatist control.)(Each Acclamator-class assault ship requires a crew of 700 and can carry up to 16,000 clone troopers.)"   ➞ Malevolence (Subjugator-class Heavy Cruiser) - During the Clone Wars, General Greivious's huge flagship leaves death and devastation in its wake.  Its massive ion cannons disrupt the control systems of surrounding ships, disabling their energy weapons and deflector shields.  (Four times longer than a Venator-class Star Destroyer, the Malevolence has an internal shuttle train system to deploy supplies and troops and is crewed by 900 battle droids.)"   ➞ AA-9 Coruscant Freighter - "The AA-9 Coruscant Freighters are originally built to haul cargo.  During the war with the Separatists, the Refugee Relief Movement has them transformed into vessels that can help people in need.  The freighters transport [up to 30,000] refugees from planets that have fallen under enemy control."   ➞ Pelta-class Frigate (Republic Medical Frigate) - "During the Clone Wars, the Pelta-class frigate is a common sight at the edges of space battles.  It is used by the Republic Navy to treat injured clone soldiers.  The more honorable generals in the Separatist fleet usually don't attack it.)  Each Pelta-class frigate can carry up to 900 crew, and is equipped with 16 escape pods.  Phoenix Home is modified to include turbo laser batteries.)”    ➞ Invisible Hand (Providence-class Dreadnought) - “Commanded by General Grievous, the Invisible Hand plays a key role in the last great battle of the Clone Wars.  With the sinister Sith Lord Count Dooku holding Chancellor Palpatine prisoner aboard the failing ship, the Jedi Order must rush to the rescue.  (The Invisible Hand is a difficult ship to attack.  There are 20 squadrons of droid starfighters ready to defend it.  Count Dooku turns the ship upper sensor tower into his lair, calling it the "Wizard's Tower".)(The Invisible Hand is controlled with a droid brain.  This means that Anakin Skywalker can override controls and fly the ship.  It's still a bumpy landing!)"    ➞ Coronet (Personal Spaceliner) - “The Coronet is Duchess Satine Kryze of Mandalore's personal luxury spaceliner.  This one-of-a-kind ship is practically a spacefaring palace.  It serves as a testament to the engineering and wealth of the Mandalorians.  (The lower decks of the Coronet are used for cargo transport.  The ship requires a crew of 75, and has eight engines all working in unison.)" STARFIGHTERS:   ➞ V-Wing - "Small, fast, and agile, the V-wing starfighter is used late in the Clone Wars by the Republic.  With ltitle in the way of firepower or armor, V-wing pilots use swarm strategies to overwhelm their opponents, assisted by an astromech droid."   ➞ V-19 Torrent Starfighter -  "The V-19 is used during the early days of the Clone Wars.  It becomes a popular fighter for the rapidly expanding Republic Navy.  Originally designed to be a short-range fighter, the V-19 later underdoes a series of upgrades that make it suitable for much longer flights."   ➞ ARC-170 Starfighter - "This three-person starfighter is durable and reliable.  It carries a formidable arsenal, as well as sufficient supplies for five days.  It should come as no surprise that the ARC-170s rapidly replace the V-19s as the Republic's primary dogfighter during the Clone Wars.  (The ARC-170s are so dependable that both the Empire and rebel forces continue to use the starfighters after the Clone Wars.  They become the template for the first generation of X-wings.)"   ➞ Y-Wing - "Designed for bombing raids, the Y-wing is a sleek ship originally used by the Galactic Republic.  Y-wings find new life as starfighters for the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War.  Stripped of every non-essential system and endlessly repaired by rebel mechanics, they remain popular with Alliance pilots.  (The first Y-wings used in the Clone Wars have a gunner's station above the cockpit.  In later models, one operator serves as pilote and gunner.)"   ➞ ETA-2 Light Interceptor (Jedi Starfighter) - The ETA-2 Interceptor's popularity with the Jedi Order earns it the nickname the Jedi Starfighter.  It is one of the fastest and most responsive starships produced during the Clone Wars.  Almost every Jedi flies one, customizing the craft to meet their unique skills and requirements.  (The Jedi starfighter uses heavy weaponry, but the power drain prevents constant firing.  Most Jedi remove the sensors and targeting equiment to save weight and space.)"   ➞ Delta-7 Light Interceptor (Specialized Jedi Starfighter) - The Delta-7 is designed specifically for the Jedi and is in frequen use long before the Clone Wars beigin.  As more Jedi leave the temples to join the war effort, their combat ships are swiftly upgraded to keep pace with the enemy's crafts.  This prompts the creation of the Delta-7B.  (There are small improvements from the Delta-7 to the 7B.  The Delta-7 has a wing part for an astromech, while the 7B places the port in front of the cockpit.  The Delta-7B also boasts a tougher central hull that its predecessor.)"   ➞ Naboo Starfighter (N-1 Starfighter) - Bold and beautiful in its design, the N-1 starfighter is the signature ship of the Royal Naboo Security Forces.  Its forward section is clad in chromium for ceremonial display, and its sleek shape is as much an expression of art as aerodynamics.  (The Naboo starfighter's long tail acts as a power charge collector.  The similarly shaped engine tails serve as heat sinks.)"   ➞ Republic Frigate (Consular-class Cruiser) - "Used by the Jedi and the Galactic Senate on diplomatic missions before the Clone Wars, these cruisers are retrofitted as combat frigates when war breaks out.  Their upgrades include armored hull plating and laser cannon batteries.  (Republic cruisers that have undergone the Charger c70 retrofit for use in the Clone Wars are longer than those that have not.)" AIRCRAFT (SPACE):   ➞ Stealth Ship (Corvette with a Cloak) - "The Republic's stealth ship is able to turn invisible.  It is designed with an experimental cloaking device, which allows it to sneak past Separatist blockades.  As well as being impossible to see when cloaked, it is undetectable by scanners and sensors.  (The stealth ship cannot fire its laser cannons or proton torpedos while cloaked, but it can launch flares to confuse enemy tracking torpedoes.)"   ➞ Republic Tugboat - Republic Tubgoats are used during the Clone Wars to maneuver massive warships into docking ports at space stations.  These tugboats are low on shields and have no weapons but are equipped with powerful engines and tractor beams."   ➞ Turtle Tanker - "Originally designed to haul minerals from asteroid mines, the bulk tankers (commonly known as "Turtle Tankers") are cheap and easy to build.  This makes them a familiar sight in established space lanes.  However, their lack of weaponry makes them a rare choice outside of heavily trafficked areas."   ➞ T-6 Shuttle (Jedi Ambassador Shuttle) - "This innovative shuttle design has a lasting impact on starship technology.  It is built by the insectoid Verpine, and features rotating wings that allows the rest of the ship an exception degree of motion.  Members of the Jedi Order use the shuttles frequently."   ➞ Eta-Class Shuttle (Ambassadorial Transport) - These comfy shuttles are first used by the Galactic Senate for diplomatic missions.  Later on, they are regularly employed by the Jedi in the Clone Wars.  Robust and suited to long-range travel, an Eta-class shuttle is chosen for a mission in Wild Space beyond the Outer Rim. (An Eta-class shuttle comfortably seats ten passengers and two pilots.  There is also room for emergency transport, such as two Undicar-class jumpseeders.)"   ➞ Twilight (Corellian G9 Rigger Freighter) - The Twilight is originally the property of crime lord Ziro Desilijic Tiure.  It is later claimed by Anakin Skywalker, who puts it to use during the Clone Wars.  This old ship is conidered massively out of date, so Anakin spends a large amount of his free time upgrading the vehicle.  (The side of the Twilight is decorated with a cartoonish painting of young Anakin's podracing.  The ship's upgraded weapons system causes random color shifts in the lasers.)"   ➞ Crucible (Paladin-class Corvette) - "Custom-built for the Jedi in the time of the Old Republic, the Crucible has been in service for quite some time.  It is used in the training of Jedi younglings, who learn how to contstruct their own lightsabers from crystals while aboard."   ➞ H-Type Nubian Yacht (Shimmering Senator's Ship) - "This yacht is the personal transport of Senator Padme Amidala.  It is a luxury ship, designed for comfort rarthe than combat, but does have very powerful shielding in case of an attack.  The vehicle is coated in royal chromium, reflecting its owner's high status."   ➞ Naboo Royal Cruiser (Custom-build J-type Diplomatic Barge) - The invasion of Naboo convinces the peaceful planet to upgrate its diplomatic vessels.  Though it still travels without weapons, this barge is far faster and better shielded than the J-type Nubian starship that came before it.  It also boats a range of backup systems in case of malfunctions or sabotage.  (The J-type diplomatic barge has spacious interiors designed for comfort.  It has room for four prestigious passengers as well as up to five crew and six guards.)"   ➞ Naboo Royal Starship (Modified J-Type 327) - This sleek ship is crafted to be a visual representation of the glory of Naboo.  It has no weapons, but it is shielded in case of attack.  It also has multiple astromech units, each one capable of making emergency repairs. (This ship is exclusive to the royal family of Naboo.  It includes quarters for the Queen and her handmaidens, equipped with climate-controlled wardrobes.)"   ➞ Naboo Star Skiff (J-type Star Skiff) - “Weapons on a Naboo royal ship are unheard of until this vessel is manufactured.  It also has a duller, more practical finish compared to traditional gleaming Naboo ships.  Unfortunately, the Naboo have had to adapt their ship designs for the harsh realities of battle during the Clone Wars. (The J-type star skiff is designed and built for Queen Apailana, the monarch of Naboo, in the latter days of the Clone Wars.  However, the ship is also made available for Senator Padme Amidala, the former queen.)" AIRCRAFT (PLANETSIDE):  ➞ LAAT (Low Altitude Assault Transport) - "The dependable LAAT is one of the Republic's main deployment craft.  Heavily armrored and highly maneuverable, this war transport is often sent into combat under fire.  It can glide through a storm of lasers to safely land its cargo and troops."  ➞ Republic Attack Shuttle - With heavier armor and shielding than most atmosphere vessels, the Republic attack shuttle is a long-range alternative to the LAAT gunship.  It is replaced by other shuttle designs after the Clone Wars, but one remains in service of the rebel Cham Syndulla during the time of Empire. (The Republic attack shuttle has a tractor beam, which is usual for a transport.  It also has magnetic clamps on its underside to clasp cargo and other smaller vessels.  A variant Nu-class transport has an enclosed cargo bay built in between the wings.)"
GROUNDCRAFT:   ➞ Clone Turbo Tank - "This 10 wheeled tank can deliver as many as 300 clone troopers into the heart of the battle in one trip.  It is designed to roll over any terraing with ease and to absorb enemy fire with no loss of function.  After proving effect in the Clone Wars, the tank stays in use during the age of Empire."   ➞ AT-RT - "Fast, nimble, and powerful, AT-RTs are used furing the brutal land battles of the Clone Wars.  A single clone trooper will usually pilot these as a scout, ranging ahead of the battlefront and gathering intel for the main force."   ➞ Stun Tank - "This Republic tank is primarily an anti-aircraft weapon.  It's ion cannon drains energy from the ship it targets, leaving them helpless.  Despite being designed for use against droid vehicles, the tank sees little use during the Clone Wars."   ➞ AT-OT (All Terrain Open Transport) - "The imposing AT-OT has an open-top design, leaving it vulnerable to attack from above.  Their role during the Clone Wars is to quickly move troops, rather than engage in battle."   ➞ AT-TE (All Terrain Tactical Enforcer) - "The AT-TE looks more ilke a huge robotic insect than a military transport.  It is used during the Clone Wars to move large numbers of troops through battle, and to operate as a mobile command center."   ➞ SPHA-T (Self-propelled Heavy Artillery Turbolaser) - "Bearing one of the bigger ground guns used by the Republic Army, this 12-legged walker is a low but steady feature throughout the Clone Wars.  Its turbolaser can destroy a starship, but can only operate for a limited time.  This is because each blast uses up a vast amount of energy."   WATERCRAFT:   ➞ Naboo Water Speeder - "The serene lakes of Naboo are the planet's most famous sight, renowned across the galaxy for their peaceful vistas.  In their free time, the Naboo take luxurious pleasure speeders out onto the water, exploring the hidden coves and majestic waterfalls. (The D-11 is manufactured by the same company as the N-1 starfighter and the two craft share many design features, despite being built to operate in very different environments.) (The D-11 water speeders were build specially for the use of the queen and the royal household.  A selection of the royal boathouse is set aside for their recharging and maintenance, however Padme Amidala is less indulgent than some previous queens, and the D-11s are seldom used.)"   ➞ Tribubble Bongo (Gungan Bongo Submarine) - These semi-organic subarmines have hulls that are grown rather than built, so no two are exactly alike.  The Gungans equip them with hydrostatic bubble shields to keep the air in and the water out, and use them to explore the oceans of their home planet, Naboo." SPEEDERS:  ➞ Barc Speeder - "This powerful speeder bike is designed for use by ARC (Advanced Recon Commando) troopers, but goes on to be piloted by other Republic fighters during the Clone Wars.  Ideal for scouting missions, it is also used by police patrols on Coruscant."  ➞ Jedi Turbo Speeder (Praxis Mk. 1 Turbo Speeder) - "An elegantly designed turbo speeder, the Praxis Mk. 1 is piloted by members of the Jedi Order when traveling around the city planet of Coruscant.  Its thing, wedge-like design cuts down on wind resistance, and the navigation systems are programmed to bypass heavy traffic.  (The Praxix Mk. 1 turbo speeder is equipped with collision-detection systems to help its pilot avoid accidents.  Twin repulsor generators allow the ship to run upside-down in midair.)" PUBLIC & PERSONAL TRANSPORT:   ➞ CSS-1 Corellian Star Shuttle - “"Built for diplomacy rather than battle, the CSS-1 shuttle has an impressive meeting room and comfortable quarters for VIP guests.  It can carry up to 200 passengers, as well as enough supplies to last for three years.  It is also equipped with an unusually strong deflector shield.  (Shortly after his appointment to Supreme Chancellor of the Republic, Sheev Palpatine ant he Jedi Council travel together to Naboo aboard the CSS-1 name the Perpetuus.)”   ➞ Taylander Shuttle - The Taylandor Shuttles are civilian transport vehicles during the final years of the Republic.  They are a common sight amongst the peaceful Core Worlds, but are even found in the far reaches of the Outer Rim."   ➞ H-2 Executive Shuttle - "The senators and even Chancellor Palpatine are among the high-profile users of this luxurious ship.  Palpatine's model is docked to allow direct access from his chambers in the Senate Office Building on Coruscant.  It makes for a comfy escape craft if the building is attacked."   ➞ Theta-Class T-2C Shuttle - “These ships are built by Cygnus Spaceworks, under special order by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.  They have never been available for purchase.  The model is eventually incorporated into the Imperial fleet, but only for the highest-ranking officers."   ➞ Luxury Yacht (Personal Luxury Yacht 3000) - "In the time of the Republic, diplomats use luxury yachts for meetings and travel.  They become less popular during the chaos of the Clone Wars, when they are seen as easy targets for pirates and Separatists.  (Luxury yachts are common vehicles in wealthier systems.  Built for comfort, they include a grand observation deck and a swimming pool, as well as five personal cabins for crew and guests.)"

Gamemaster seeking players 2: electric boogaloo
Hey! I'm making another post for players interested in games i want to run. Learning from last time, I'm narrowing my selection to Fate Core games for simplicity and attaching a date of posting, 1/26/19, to avoid confusion.
A Star Wars Tale: Under a Black Sun - stealing borrowing the story from a freerpgday module of the same name for Star Wars Fantasy Flight, you play as rebel agents recovering a stolen weapons shipment to be used in the upcoming assault on the Death Star. Sure, Luke and Leia got them plans, but proton torpedoes don't grow on trees!
The Elder Scrolls: (title pending) - Like its video game predecessors, you start imprisoned for mysterious reasons, and are thrust into an adventure with world-altering implications.... Or just do a bunch of side quests... Either way, no skill-grinding required!
Waybury University of Magcraft and Sorcery - not to be confused with some OTHER magical schools... There's no child soldiers, no wars over blood-status, and no statute of secrecy! This University is for those already versed in the basics of magic, seeking to expand their knowledge, mastery, and skill in any manner of arcane arts. Based on the module by Darryn Striga, explore and create a magical world, loot dungeons, face dragons, while you maintain your grades, pay tuition, the adventures never end!
Shadow Hunters - inspired by the D20 Modern setting, in the modern day, every one has supernatural experience at some point. Whether they recognise or believe what it is is another matter, but it is nigh unavoidable. Stranded by a snow storm, you encounter something. Something impossible to deny. and once that door is open, how can you go back to a normal life?
these are all prepared as a one-shots with character creation as play, and can be extended into a campaign depending on interest. I'm hoping to run these in February or March, scheduling to be determined. Join my discord channel if interested in any of these games:

Bodyswap AU - Part 8 (here are the links to: part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7)
The Ark Angel took off and dashed over the valley, piercing through clouds of ash as it made its way up. Aphra punched the coordinates into the computer. In a matter of hours, she would be home. A mental scoff followed. 'Home'. It wasn't home, really. Never had been. Just a bed and a roof. And if there was one thing she hadn't planned on doing with Vader, it was bringing him along to pay her father a visit. But there was little choice in the matter. Aphra sighed, a slightly louder wheeze, casting Vader a brief glance. Maybe she should give him a heads up, just in case. Or maybe not. It had been such a long time since she'd last seen her father, he would hardly notice the change. She'd blame suspicious behavior on 'the booze'. At least that he would believe, with all the credit he gave her. All they had to do was show up and mention the Ordu Aspectu, and he'd just roll with it. Things would be fine. Probably.
She turned towards Vader, then towards Ahsoka, and towards Vader again. None of them had spoken since they had taken off. The hyperdrive whirred and hummed, filling the gaps between her breaths, and a sense of discomfort hung around like stale air, making her throat clench a bit. Subtle wafts of emotions flowed her way, spikes of anger and dips of guilt, surges of hope followed by dread. Although she knew they came from them, she couldn't pinpoint which was whose. It was like bathing in feeling-soup. She didn't like it.
Ahsoka made an attempt to break the silence.
"So... do you intend to spend the whole trip pouting?"
Vader didn't bat an eye.
"Why not."
Oh, Aphra fully believed that. Vader had never struck her as the most cheerful person to be around, and she'd gotten used to his 'moods', as Triple-Zero called them. Even so, the atmosphere was a little tense for her taste.
"Hey, not that this is any of my business," she said, "but why all the drama? I'm... picking up bad vibes. Literally. I think."
"I do not routinely engage in conversation with traitors." Vader snapped. "Forgive my lack of practice in the matter."
"Traitors?!" the girl blurted out. "You tried to murder me but go off I guess."
"That makes two of us."
Ahsoka fell silent, and the air grew heavier. Her eyes were glistening, Aphra noticed. She shifted in her seat, unsure of what to say.
"Oookay... How about music then? I have Jatz, Quenk Jazz, some old Rodian Rock... any preference? "
Her hand hovered over the dashboard, waiting for an answer she half-suspected wouldn't come. It didn't. She sighed, and pressed "on". An engaging Zeltron dancer began jiggling over the holo-player, casting the camera sultry looks. Vader gave her a side look.
"Stop judging," she said, opening the food-safe.
"I'm not judging."
"Right," she said, handing him a can of cheap blue mappa. He eyed it with suspicion.
"You won't get drunk on that," she reassured. "Trust me, you've got training."
He grabbed the can, took a sip and coughed. Oh dear. And after all those years on vitapaste he wouldn't call himself picky.
"I will pass."
"Snob."
"What?" He knew what she had said - the vocoder was more suited to barking orders than mumbling - but the word took him by surprise. He wasn't snobbish, really. Just... direct.
"Nothing," she said, turning towards Ahsoka. "Ahsoka, would you like a drink? You look beat."
The girl snapped out of her stupor and looked at them numbly, her eyes moist with silent tears.
"I'm fine," she said feebly. "Thank you."
There was a time he would have attempted to comfort her. Now she was a traitor. She could have joined him, become an inquisitor, a Sith apprentice maybe. She chose the Rebellion. Perhaps it was a good thing then, that this time was long gone. His throat clenched. Perhaps.
Aphra shrugged.
"Hm. Well if you change your mind... you know where the hooch is. There's food too."
Ahsoka tried to smile.
"How about you?"
"I uh... I just drank weird stuff from a straw. I'm good. Sort of good."
Vader snorted. Weird stuff from a straw. That was one way to put it.
The music switched to dissonant Leap-jump.
"They used to play this at Dexe's", Ahsoka said.
"Dex. It's called Dex."
Ahsoka sat upright, pointing her chin up.
"Dex. It's called Dex," she parroted.
"Quit it, Snips."
This time, Ahsoka actually smiled.
"You just called me Snips."
"I thought you hated it, Snips."
"Not anymore, Skyguy."
"Don't. Call me. Skyguy."
"Or what?"
"Permission to intervene, Masters?" Triple-Zero chimed in.
"Denied," came their joint reply.
The droid left the cockpit.
"No Beetee, this doesn't look promising. Humans these days."
Aphra looked at the navicomputer. Two hours left. And the ambient tension lingered.
"By the way Ahsoka, why don't you grab some sleep? You look exhausted. My bunk is..." she paused, remembering the girl's confusion upon finding them there. "You know where it is. Make yourself at home."
"You're right. I am exhausted."
Ahsoka stood up.
"Thank you," she said, bowing her head slightly before leaving the room.
The tension eased a little. Now Aphra had two whole hours to ruminate about her boss meeting her dad. And the longer she dwelt on it, the more the thought worried her.
Ahsoka jerked awake as he ship hit the ground, bouncing like a spring on its landing gear. She had feared the nightmares, but her sleep turned out dreamless. Yet she remained exhausted. But she had been prepared. Her last encounter with Anakin had left scars on both of them, and as much as she hoped, as desperate as she was for another glimpse of that faint flicker of light, she knew nothing would ever be the same. And it hurt. Malachor had hurt them. And it had changed her. With nothing but Sith artifacts to engineer her escape, she had delved into their secrets, tapped into their power... and made it hers. She had found it, in the end, her one and only way out: one last portal through the Force. She had found it, used it, destroyed it. But for that to happen... A sob escaped her. She had to. It wasn't really falling if you didn't lose it, right? Not if you could claw your back to the Light. It couldn't be. It mustn't be. And now that she was free, she would help Anakin break out. She had to. For the Rebellion. And for her friend.
Aphra leaned back in her seat, not quite succeeding to stretch in the cramped space, and switched the engines off. A red light remained on at the bottom of the dashboard, signalling a leak in the secondary fuel tank. Aphra stood up.
"See? This ship is a keeper. Told you the leak wasn't that big. We still have quite a bit," she said pointing at the fuel gauge. "I'll check it up in a minute."
Vader shook his head. Her faith in that piece of junk would be the death of her. She stood there and stared at him, hands firmly planted on her hips. She must have picked up on his exasperation.
"Say it."
"Say what?"
"What you've just been thinking," she said.
Vader gave her a wry look.
"Doctor, what makes you think you're allowed in my head?"
In truth, it was unlikely she had sensed a clear, fully-formed thought. The occurrence was rare, even for him. A general feeling of aggravation? Definitely. But thoughts were another matter. A delicate matter, one that required control.
"I didn't..." She paused. "You can read thoughts?" she asked, which such incredulity Vader could almost hear her popping round eyes at him.
"It's not that easy."
And it was lucky, really. He remembered one time, walking through a busy street, when the minds of passers-by had suddenly become as clear as pure water. It had felt like an assault. "If I don't pay Black Sun..." - "Senator Mothma said..." - "So if that's ten credits..." - "Who's that?" - "Monster" - "Freak" - "Don't come near"... The incident had barely lasted a minute, and had left him exhausted, his blood pulsing in his hears, physically struggling not to slash through the crowd. He'd stood there paralyzed, feeling like a proton torpedo ready to explode. "Are you alright, sir?" "Get away from me!" He hadn't told his master. There was no point.
"Is that a challenge?" Aphra asked.
"No," he snapped, pointing a finger at her. "Do not try it."
Vader heard steps behind him.
"Hi!" came Ahsoka's voice.
Aphra greeted her with her usual enthusiasm.
"Good morning," he said reluctantly. "Why don't you join Doctor Aphra? She's got a leak to fix."
"It's no big deal, really, I can do that on my own."
Vader shot her an icy look.
"On second thought, maybe I could use a hand. After that we'll go meet my... contact."
"Sure."
Ahsoka followed her into the engine room.
"You don't really need a hand do you?"
"Nope. I've got two," she said, wiggling both arms. "Kidding. Really."
Ahsoka shook her head.
"Would I be wrong to assume he's always like that?"
Aphra chuckled, lifting a panel behind the tank. There was a thin drip on the side on the container, but that was nothing she couldn't manage.
"What did you expect?"
"Honestly? I don't know. A lightsaber in the heart was always a possibility."
Aphra nodded.
"I know the feeling."
Ahsoka gave her a wan smile.
"Yet you're staying."
"Yes." Aphra bit her tongue. Things were getting awkward. "Right. There's a plasma welder right under your left foot."
Ahsoka handed it to her.
"Thanks. Aaaand there we go," she said, sealing the breach. "Easy. Now if you could keep an eye on the kids?"
"Kids?"
"Droids. Just in case. We'll be back in a bit."
"Okay but..."
Aphra waved a hand.
"You'll do great!"
She could still feel Ahsoka's stupefied look as she left the engine room, heading straight for the cockpit.
"There, patched it", she said.
"Then let us not delay."
Vader followed her outside.
They had landed at the foot of a grassy, stony hillock, the top of which was crowned by a small, hive-shaped mud house.
"Is this where your contact lives?"
"Yes, but he..."
Before she could finish, Vader was leaping up the dirt stairs. There was no point in delaying. The door had been left ajar. He knocked and pushed it.
"Hello?"
The place was, to put it simply, an absolute junkyard. Stone tablets lay scattered all over the clay floor, amidst heaps of old books and worn-out artifacts - there was even a kyber on top of the fireplace. The stew that simmered over the hearth gave off a musty smell, like the underside of a sun-beaten evaporator. At the center of the room, half-hidden by a pile of books, an oldish man was bending over a manuscript, mumbling in... was that Proto-Basic?
The man hardly noticed him. Vader stepped inside.
"Sir, we have need of you."
The man looked up from his work, his eyes popping round.
"Sir?"
"What else should I address you as?"
The man flinched as Aphra entered the room as well. His mouth fell open, but no sound came out.
Aphra sighed, pinching the nose of her mask.
"Oh kriff... try 'Dad'."

Tumblr media
I was player 2, and my friend picked Abandoned Mining Facility. Thanks to his „Parts Resupply“, he scored a lot of points in the beginning; however I ate his Squadrons up (Fighter Command, Nevota Bee and Aethersprites were brutal, as expected) - despite his Tri-Fighter being resurrected TWO times via Reserve Hangar Decks! - and shot down one of his Hardcells. Considering the other was in black range of my Acclamators (which also could score repair points), he conceded.
A fun game; I like the new mechanics and ships. Let‘s see what Wave 2 brings!
