#Asagao Academy Headcanons

I have a personal headcanon that, in the Jared route, one day Mai and pbg went to a karaoke and sang *A quien tu decidiste amar* to deal with their (now) respective unrequited love, getting a little drunk in the process.

(P.S: Yeah, as you may see its a Spanish son, but it fits perfectly with the situation. You can find it on youtube and check it out if you want. Oh! And if you're curious about the lyrics in this scene, it would read as:

So I discovered a wonderful asagao academy au made by @zozzlez and it's where the characters have "superpowers" of sorts and I wanted to make a super!au for my asagao ocs so!!! Here it is......

(It might be long so ima put it under the cut)

April has sharp, long teeth and can spit venom out of them (mostly at will, . She's also covered in red snake scales (mostly prominent on her cheeks and her forearms)

Diego can read the thoughts of people he makes physical contact with. He mostly hears "is he gay?". The answer is yes

Hazel can levitate. It's kinda like breathing or blinking, though, when she's aware of it she has to control it voluntarily

Twyla is able to form physical shields at up to five feet away from her. The shields are visible, they look as if they were made of plastic. They usually form when she is anxious or frightened (which is often as she has anxiety)

Hayden is able to communicate with birds. Has a pet cockatiel and is his only friend before he goes to asagao

Timothe can channel darkness to blast it at people. Mostly weak until he feels big/strong negative emotions, and then it is uncontrollable

Jackie can see different possible futures for specific decisions. Think the future vision Garnet from Steven Universe has. Gives them panic and anxiety as they can't control their visions

Chloe has a regenerative healing factor and semi-super human strength. Dependant on the type of wound she has, the time it takes to heal it differs. Stuff like small cuts heal in seconds, but gashes usually heal in hours. She is not immune to blood loss and infection

Izzy has thermal manipulation. It is usually very warm around her except when she is upset or angry. Everyone likes to flock to her during cold weather

Alex can manipulate dolls. It's kinda like a remote control car, at around twenty feet (or when out of their vision) it stops functioning. They carry around a very frilly vintage porcelain doll

Nena can heal others by making physical contact with them with her hands. She usually takes the effects of the wound she heals however (as in pain, fatigue). Usually leaves after rest and medication

Travis has multiple arms (four in specific, two on each side). He decided that with so many arms he should make use of them and get them beefy. Great at hugs

Micheal is able to create illusions that affect the person he targets (ex., making someone see people as cats). has little limitations, but he rarely uses it for anything more than pranks

New Asagao Academy Headcanon

Chadtronic replaces JonTron as PBG’s roommate. He’s (as of right now) not officially in the group, but he hangs out with both Normal Boots and Hidden Block a lot.

Jacque (Jirard’s brother) replaces Jacques and instead of being a robot bird, he is a toy/robot friend of Chad’s—because Chad is a big kid and adores all kinds of toys. Jacque is a surprisingly sentient robot toy.

Furst replaces ProJared as the sparkly fashion-forward boy. I mean, have you seen Forrest’s adorable swooshy hair?

Satch decides it’s time to put away the controllers and focus more on university preparation and self-care, so he hung up his jacket and no longer participates as a member of Normal Boots. He’s still friendly towards the Normal Boots and Hidden Block members, and enjoys singing with his buddies Jirard and Alex, but just doesn’t have the time to dedicate to video games anymore.

Headcanon

The theme song of asagao was sung by Hana’s mom when she was in high school

Hana found an old recording of her singing it on a cassette tape while spring cleaning at home and asked Satch and Luke for help cleaning it up so she could download it onto her phone.

At some point Mai and Hana get a band together and Hana sings it for a talent show

Realistic headcanon: Ian sings. A lot. He just does it when no one’s around and it’s usually late 90s/early 2000s music that he gets extremely flustered about if anyone catches him singing it. Although, once the embarrassment’s died down, he’s a bit more like “Yeah, I love Fate’s Offspring; so what?” (that’s… my stupid take on destiny’s child if u didn’t get that…)Headcanon I think is fucking hilarious: Ian’s ear piercings were completely accidental and the main cause of the rivalry between him and Caddy, although not even they’re quite sure how it happened. Ian believes that Caddy stabbed him through the ear with a pin when he was trying to secure his hair out of the way for a DnD game. So he then decided to just… go get them pierced now that there’s a hole. Caddy doesn’t remember what happened, but he knows that it definitely wasn’t his fault.What is heart-crushing and awful but fun to inflict on friends: Not only did Ian not have a lot of friends before Asagao, and even in his first year, but his family weren’t around very much either, especially when his older sister left for a school in a different country. He ended up keeping himself occupied with old VCR tapes, usually watching ones with family videos to relive how they used to be or watching Christmas shows from when him and his sister would watch them together. They made him feel a little less alone.What would never work with canon but the canon is shit so I believe it anyway: He has a slightly lisp that he’s not quite outgrown, which is why he speaks differently. It doesn’t come out very often, except when he’s tired or experiencing some kind of extreme emotion.

AU where in every run of Asagao Academy, one person is aware that they are in a game and remembers everything from the last time their route was played (for the normal boots guys and Ian at least). Everyone else remembers the events of the last route if they do. Sometimes it's Mai, where she destroys Jacques. Sometimes it's PBG, remembering his time with Hana when she dates Jirard. Sometimes its Paul, running off his feelings of when Hana betrayed Caddy when she and Mai are accused of stealing the boots. They always try to talk to people before realizing no one believes them. So they just sit, and watch Hana go and be with someone else. Sometimes Hana dates them again, but they can never quite predict what she's going to do. When they expect her to do one thing, she does another. One time, Hana remembered. She, however, acts different. She acts completely different from any other time. She approaches Jared herself and asks about Normal Boots. She runs straight to Mai and hugs her when they first meet. She destroys everyone at Super Stomp. But more than that, she talks to everyone. She assures Jared of his value, she confronts Shane about Emily, she reunites with PBG, asks Mai to always return her library books, and so on. The night before the Flower Festival, while Mai sleeps, Hana sits at her desk. She stares straight ahead. She is whispering to herself and it takes you, the player, a minute to realize that she's talking to you. "This is going to be my new beginning, and you will not control me anymore." From there, you, the player, have no control over Hana anymore. She does not go with anyone, choosing instead to go in a group with Mai, Mimi, and Kakusu. She trains for the tournament and focuses on her studies. And all you, the player, could do is sit and watch. When the tournament comes, she destroys Ian by a small margin. Hana celebrates that night with everyone and everything for Hana couldn't be better. The next morning, Hana wakes up to get on the train to Asagao Academy on time, no memory of her autonomy. You command her to pick up her ticket, pack her luggage, and get on the fifth train car. On there, she counts her buttons, watches the scenario go by. She, however, misses the long stare of the boy across from her, his sparkles sparkling inquisitively, his book on his lap ignored. She misses him stammering, trying to get his words together, before finally asking, "So, you're new?"
