Arthur Brown, Jr. is scheduled for execution in Texas on March 9, 2023 for the 1992 murders of Jose Tovar, Jessica Quinones, Audrey Brown and Frank Farias. The following information comes from the Texas Defender Service & the Office of Forensic & Capitol Writs. More is here. Arthur Brown, Jr. is a man who has been wrongfully convicted. His conviction was obtained using false evidence. His newly appointed attorneys have just discovered that the District Attorney suppressed exculpatory evidence showing that other people committed the murder. Mr. Brown also shows signs of having intellectual impairments, including possible Fetal Alcohol Disorder - impairments that made him even more vulnerable to the injustice of this wrongful conviction. Increasing the inhumanity of Mr. Brown’s conviction is the fact that his jury never heard mitigating evidence of the hardships he experienced as a child, including abject poverty, neglect, and severe abuse. Despite all he experienced, though, Mr. Brown grew to be a loving son, sibling, and father, until his arrest and wrongful conviction separated him from his life partner, his children, and his extended family. Please do not allow the execution of this wrongfully convicted man, with intellectual impairments, to occur. I respectfully request the Board recommend clemency for Arthur Brown and for Governor Abbott to grant it; or in the alternative, that Mr. Brown be granted a 180-day reprieve so that his attorneys can continue their investigation into his innocence in light of the suppressed evidence.

i am on my knees Politely Begging You to write a lil something about carlos :( he literally looks like a puppy :( i love him sm :(
yes definitely i can do that :) im not a huge carlos girly but one of my irl friends is a MASSIVE carlos girly so i channeled her for this. but i do agree he's got those 'whatever u say beautiful' brown eyes lol. hope u enjoy! (ALSO this might make it seem like i hate carlos. which is NOT true. leclerc!readers voice overtook me and shes clearly very headstrong lol)
CS: taking what's not yours
pairing(s): carlos sainz jr x leclerc!reader
summary: you hate carlos sainz, plain and simple.
word count: 1.8k+ (read on ao3)
“Sharl, please tell me he isn’t coming tonight.”
Charles looks at you over the top of his phone, pausing his texting to shoot you an expression so dry that you would laugh if you weren’t so concerned about his answer, “Are you serious?”
“Of course I’m serious. It’s your birthday.”
Charles splutters in shock, starting his sentence a few times over before finally spitting out, “Of course, he’s coming, it’s my birthday.”
You roll your eyes, “So what.”
“So what!” Charles shakes his head, “He’s my teammate. He’s my friend.”
You tip your head back and groan loudly, childishly, and then you slap a manicured hand down on the kitchen counter in frustration. Charles snorts, then goes back to texting as you make faces at him to assuage your compulsion to scream at him.
“Christ,” Arthur says as he comes into the kitchen, “What are you two fighting about now?”
You shoot your youngest brother a look full of disdain and say, “None of your business.”
While Charles, at the exact same time, groans, “She’s mad that Carlos is coming tonight.”
“Oh my god. Typical.”
You make another face and aim a gesture at both your brothers that your maman wouldn’t be very pleased to see if she were here. Arthur laughs and Charles makes the same gesture back at you.
“You know,” Arthur says, his head stuck halfway inside of Charles’ fridge, “You clearly need to hook up with him and get it over with. We all know you hate him because you—”
The rest of his sentence is cut short by you lobbing the nearest packet of crisps at his head, followed by a wooden spatula that hits him somewhere on his shoulder blade. He whirls around to glare at you, the packet of crisps and the spatula clattering unceremoniously to the ground.
“Shut up!” you shriek, “You little freak. I do not want him.”
His mouth hanging half-open, Arthur aborts an attempt to throw a packet of spinach at you in retaliation and lets out a raucous laugh at your expense, “Sure. You react like that and you expect me to believe that you don’t want him.”
“Yes! I do, Arthur. Because I do not!”
You look at Charles incredulously, hoping for some kind of support from the more reasonable of your brothers, but he only shrugs, “He has a point.”
You shake your head, eyes impossibly wide in your complete disbelief. Some younger brothers these two are— thinking that you have a crush on your mortal enemy. It’s insulting. You’re not some half-baked floozy like the women that man usually dates. How dare they act as if you would ever stoop so low as to let Carlos Sainz Jr touch you.
You hiss, “Traitors. Both of you,” you knock Charles’ phone out of his hand, and it lands face down on the counter, “Who are you even texting?”
You don’t wait for the answer, throwing your hands up and storming out of the room. You don’t actually care who Charles is texting, it’s probably his girlfriend— who you love for the record— you’re just mad at him. And Arthur. And it felt good to throw a veritable tantrum even though you’re pushing thirty. Not that it’s your fault— no, that blame is reserved for Carlos, who makes you feel like lava is about to come out of your fucking eyes whenever he’s around (or is mentioned in conversation, or is within a five-kilometer radius of you). How can you be expected to act normal about him when he’s seemingly made it his life mission to piss you off?
Somewhere between the argument and the beginning of the party, you calm down and apologise to Charles and Arthur for being a heinous bitch. You don’t retract what you’d said, but you admit you could have said it in a nicer, and perhaps less aggressive way. You just hope that there’ll be enough people at the party that you can avoid him, you’d like to get through the afternoon without starting a yelling match. Though, half of that decision is decidedly not up to you.
Slowly, the apartment fills up with Charles’ friends until all of a sudden there are so many people that you’re struggling to find a way through the living room. You’ve got an empty wine glass in your hand and you’re on a mission to fill it up.
You’re waylaid by Lando, who’s been trying to set up the DJ deck he’d brought over for at least twenty minutes now. You stop to watch Max, squatting halfway under the fold-out table, untangle a truly unruly mess of wires, passing them up to Lando one at a time. Max’s girlfriend shoots you an exasperated look as she impatiently holds onto hers, and what you assume is Max’s drink.
You raise an eyebrow, “Need anything?”
“Nah,” Lando answers, leaning over the decks to reach for a few wires from Max, “Tell Charles the music’s almost here.”
You nod, sharing another dubious look with the other girl in your vicinity, “Great, he’s excited.”
“Won’t be long,” Max adds, voice muffled by the table.
Max’s girlfriend shakes her head minutely, then mouths ‘Another twenty, at least.’ You have to stifle a laugh as Max pokes his head out from under the table to glare at her.
“I can see you.”
She shrugs, “I was betting on it.”
You watch them smile fondly at each other, their eyes sparkling with an emotion that you know well but haven’t had the privilege of experiencing in a long while. It makes your heart ache with jealousy, longing. Something like that. You wave goodbye and leave before they put you in too sour of a mood, promising to find them later. You’re not sure if you’ll hold to that, as much as you hadn’t wanted it to, this afternoon is turning into a bit of a bummer for you. Carlos has been lingering at the edges of everything you’ve been doing, every conversation you’ve had. He’s here already— you’d caught a glimpse of him coming in the front door. You’re just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Then you push your way into the near-empty kitchen and it does.
He is in there and he is holding your bottle of wine.
A fire ignites immediately in the pit of your stomach, burning hot and bright at the sight of him and his stupid face. You bite the inside of your lip hard to stop from saying anything unsavoury and grip your wine glass with enough force you’re afraid you’ll smash it to pieces.
“That’s mine,” you say instead, in your calmest voice.
Carlos’ head snaps up, his hair flopping across his forehead. He blinks owlishly at you, mouth hanging halfway open in something like shock. You tear your eyes away from his, looking pointedly at the bottle of wine in his hands. There’s no glass for him to pour it into but you have to suppress a scowl anyway.
“Hello,” he says, making no move to place the wine back where he’d found it.
“Sainz,” you answer.
You stand there, surveying each other in silence for a few moments. The air is thick with the buzzing electricity of whatever tension you two cannot help but generate in the presence of each other. You watch him run his tongue across the row of his perfectly straight, white teeth.
Eventually, you bite, “Are you deaf? Put my wine down.”
Infuriatingly, he just raises his eyebrows, “Your wine?”
“Yes,” you grit your teeth, “My wine.”
Carlos shrugs in a way that makes you want to stomp forward and strangle him to death. He knows full well that he’s pissing you off beyond belief— you can see it in the way his eyes glint, in the way his mouth turns up at the corner. And maybe Arthur was right earlier because right now you’re not sure if you want to shove him out a window or grab his face and kiss him so hard that his mouth bruises.
Fuck.
You’ve been really trying to avoid coming to that conclusion. It’s not that you’re blind. You know objectively, logically, that Carlos Sainz Jr is crazy hot. But you hate him and you never want to be one of the gorgeous model women that he drags around everywhere for his own entertainment. You’re better than that, you’re not destined to be the short-term girlfriend of some man before he decides to throw you away for someone different. You’re a Leclerc. That means something. Being Carlos Sainz’s girlfriend doesn’t— and you don’t appreciate having to fight your own thoughts for control over something like that.
“Eh, well,” he says, “If you didn’t want anyone to touch it you should have put it away.”
“Oh my god,” you groan, “You’re fucking infuriating.”
You stalk across the kitchen without thinking, stopping a few paces away from him. You make a grab for the neck of the bottle and he pulls it quickly away, his arm lifted to keep it up out of your reach. You scowl openly now— what a child.
You jab a finger at him, just shy of poking it right into his firm chest, “Give that back.”
He laughs, a boyish, but vindictive thing that makes your head burn hot, “Say please.”
You spit, “Fuck you,” and you make a grab for it.
For a split second, you’re entirely confident in your ability to reach high enough. You boost yourself with a hand on the counter and almost almost reach the bottle in his grip. Then your hand slips, or your shoe slides on the tile and you’re suddenly face-planting right into Carlos’ body. Sheer anxiety floods your body as you anticipate landing in a mortifying pile of limbs at his feet, but before that can happen his arm winds tight around your waist. His fingers flatten into your side, keeping you in place as you find your footing again.
Both of you are still for a tense moment. The arm that was holding your wine hostage has lowered, the bottle left forgotten on the counter as his hand flattens against your shoulder. Your heart is beating high in your throat, your breath shallow. You can feel his heartbeat through his shirt, steady and rhythmic. His breath tickling the shell of your ear, the stubble on his chin brushing against your forehead. You hate the stirring feeling that runs down your spine and into your toes— the shiver that you have to suppress.
You push against the arm around your waist, stumbling back when he releases you like you’re on fire and he’s just been burnt. He is staring at you, expression ragged, mouth hung half open. You tell yourself you don’t know what that look means. You tell yourself that you’re not feeling the same thing.
You lurch forward to snatch the wine off the counter and then skitter out of his reach, pointing a finger at him, “Don’t touch my shit again, Sainz.”
He holds his hands up in surrender, his expression changing back into something you’re comfortable with, something you know what to do with, “You got it, Leclerc.”

"There's five main types, white, green black, oolong, and pu-erh, but numerous different flavors from each type depending on the variety, and other plants can sometimes be added in to create other flavors. And that's not to mention the varieties that are often called tea and are made in the same way, but use different different types of plants."
Ed paused in consideration. "Pets are..." ...did the Grid have other life forms besides programs? "...other life forms, kept as companions." He opened the photo library on the tablet, and pulled up a picture of (what he affectionately called) his little flock of feathered menaces.
"This one's Turing," he said, pointing to a white bird with splashes of red feathers and a large ruff of feathers and what almost looked like the feathered version lion's mane around it's neck. "The one next to her is Dwar Ev," he said, pointing to a bird that appeared like she was trying to make herself taller than the rest and had an inflated crop. Her feathers were almost seemingly metallic gold in color, except for her wings, which were black with an emerald green sheen. "And then that's Mark V--" a black and white bird with checkered wings with white dots on her wing tips and a white crescent on her chest--"and finnally Clacks." Clacks, for all that she was the largest of the birds, was the most normal looking of the flock, slate blue with red bars on her wings, and shiny green feathers around her neck.
((This is a companion piece to this thread.))
[Side B: Rescue]
Haste was the word of the cycle and Ark moved quicker than ever.
Her and her lightcycle flew across the Outlands and straight for Tron City, making up for the time she had lost while she was out.
As she traveled, deep underneath the surface of the Outlands, one Gridbug, out of many, became poisoned for no discernable reason.
Ark knew where the Occupation had most likely taken Ed, and the increased guards around the building confirmed her suspicions.
She remained stealthy as long as possible, revealing herself only when she could sneak no further.
Ark fought her way through the building, alarms blaring as she took on multiple Sentries at a time. The narrow hallways worked in her favor, as only a few Sentries could approach her at a time, so she was never outnumbered in a way she couldn't handle.
It took all of Ed's will not to shrink back from Clu as the guards brought him to the tyrant.
Clu grinned like a Cheshire cat. Whatever he had planned for Ed, it was certainly much worse than what he had just been through. It looked like Clu wanted to say something. Probably to intimidate Ed, play with him before doing... whatever.
Ed had plenty of experience of taking control of situations. He also knew how to be a menace.
Beat Clu to the punch. Hit him where it hurt.
Ed opened his mouth, but before either of them could say anything, the sound of fighting came from the hallway.
Ark?
Ed had no idea if it was her or not, but if there was fighting coming this way, it was likely they were coming for him. At the very least, fighting meant they were against the occupation, and thus a potential ally.
Ed twisted sharply, then dropping down to break free of his captors. He backed away, and pulled off one of his boots. It was hefty; much heavier than his loafers.
Ed chucked it, then the other, at Clu.
Without waiting to see if either hit their mark, Ed turned and ran.
Behind him, there was the heavy thud of one of the boots hitting the ground, and an angered, pained roar from Clu. He approached the fight as cautiously as possible, while also not loosing speed. (The guard or Clu catching hi would not end well, an he most certainly would not get another chance to escape.)
He sighed with relief when he recognized Ark's lightcycle.

The New Scooby Doo Movies S2 E5-8
5. The Exterminator
This episode follows the gang aiding Don Adams to exterminate bugs inside the house of a famous director, however, they are soon met with a series of strange occurrences.
I think this episode is positively okay!
Don Adams as our guest works for this! Much like Tim Conway in the previous episode, these characters seemingly aren’t their celebrity counterparts, more so, played by their celebrities. Don plays a very persistent exterminator that I often found funny!
From what I understand, this episode is heavily influenced by the juvenile detective novel, The Secret of Terror Castle, written by Robert Arthur, Jr. Besides that, the episode is also seemingly inspired by a series of other influences, mostly early movies fitting with the house owner's job as a silent film director. Even his name, Lin Chaney, is an allusion to Lon Chaney, maybe best known for the silent horror movies Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923) and The Phantom of the Opera (1925).
Once again, we see an episode use a slew of villains, although I don’t mind it too much here! It fits into the idea of this character as a movie star. To quickly rattle through them, there’s a handful inspired by early horror movies, these being the Wolfman, Frankenstein’s Monster and Mr. Hyde. As we will come to see, the majority of these monsters are reused assets, or at least, very closely resemble old characters. All three of these appear like their earlier counterparts.
The other monsters are the Cat Creature, Bird Creature, Sea Monster and Creepy Man. All of these characters resemble more basic monster ideas, the first three anthropomorphic animals, the final a creepy man. The Sea Monster is a recolour of a prop that appears in The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair, the first Batman crossover episode, and the Creepy Man is a recolour of Swampy Pete from The Ghostly Creep from the Deep.
However, as far as I can tell, the Cat and Bird Creature are completely unique designs, and both end up being my favourites. The Bird Creature has a spiky design paired with an olive green palette, he resembles a knight in his clothing, although he sits as a bust on the wall. Meanwhile the Cat Creature is almost Yeti like in design, he has brown fur and a large body, but his unique appearance allows him to stand out amongst this flurry of recolours, some more egregious than others.
Besides these main points, I did love all the bug shenanigans in this episode, particularly the soldier ants and squirt bug. Stuff like this always makes me giggle.
6. Weird Winds of Winona
As my review of the previous four episodes of this season indicated, I am a big fan of episodes that use Hanna Barbera characters as the guest stars. Therefore, this episode, the final one to do so, already takes bonus points.
This episode follows the gang and Speed Buggy’s gang as they attempt to solve the mystery of powerful winds blowing in the titular Winona, which has driven everyone from it.
The Speed Bugs (as I have just learnt their gang is called) consists of Speed Buggy, a yellow car, Debbie, Mark and Tinker. Of course, the stand out of this group is their “Scooby Doo”, Speed Buggy, the car is simply brimming with personality, he stands out against his inspiration where a character like Mark doesn’t. Also, his animation is weirdly gorgeous, like my God they drew this car in such a cool way, every movement accentuates his personality, his speech is perfect giving him the effect of a sputtering exhaust, oh my do I love him! Tinker is a fun character too, he acts almost as a Shaggy, which is a pattern for these shows that are inspired by Scooby Doo - most of the time, they include a Scooby and Shaggy.
To delve into this formula a bit more clearly, the popularity of Scooby Doo led Hanna Barbera to use this show as a template. Roughly, they would take a group of teenagers and give them a “mascot”, they would usually solve mysteries, but this is not a requirement. Examples include The Funky Phantom, Clue Club, JabberJaw, Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels, Fangface and Josie and the Pusscats. This is only naming a few. I have a very specific interest in this era - most of the aforementioned cartoons didn’t last long, however, they are all so interesting to me. Frequently, they would also omit a Velma style character, blending her personality type into the other members of the gangs.
Speed Buggy has become a fairly recurring character to appear in Scooby media - I think most Scooby fans will recognise him from Mystery Incorporated Episode Fourteen, where he appears alongside a handful of the other Scooby inspired shows characters. Although, he also has appeared elsewhere - he appeared in the Hanna Barbera Laff-a-Lympics on the Scoobie Doobies team, he also appears in the Scooby Doo! comic (issue 50) Big House Brouhaha (which is filled to the brim with cameos) and he also cameos in the most recent series Guess Who. This is not to mention that he also appears in the more recent show Jellystone!, which from what I understand, is a show that brings together a host of Hanna Barbera characters, I believe he is a fairly minor character.
The interactions between the characters are what makes this episode enjoyable, the rest is somewhat whatever, but wow do these characters bounce off one another in a fun way! This episode is far from perfect, it suffers from the usual pitfalls of New Movies, yet, these bright lights are always appreciated.
The villains, the Windmakers, sure do appear! They’re very bland “cult” members. Their designs are hooded men, they blend in my mind with the hooded man from The Dynamic Scooby Doo Affair, although I guess I’m happy they didn’t use a simple recolor here?
When the episode fixates on just placing these two groups in a single desolate location, I’m loving it, but when the meandering and dull story takes over, I lose a lot of my interest.
7. The Haunted Candy Factory
We follow the gang as they investigate a pair of green blobs that are terrorising a sweet factory. I actually love this location a lot, it feels like such a perfect eerie place to drop the gang, even if it puts Shaggy and Scooby in a series of very obvious gags - I enjoy them regardless!
Our guest for this episode is Cass Elliot, maybe best known for being in the band The Mama’s and Papa’s, although she also five very successful solo albums. Unfortunately, she passed away not long after this episode aired, partly because she partook in a lot of extreme diets that were popularised in the 70s (the grapefruit diet is mentioned by name) which gives a very tragic feeling to this episode given their frequent use of jokes about her weight.
The villains of this episode are The Green Glob Ghosts, who are such boring designs, they’re dark green blobs, there’s not much more to them. However, they have a series of funny bubblegum and taffy shenanigans centred around them, which to me, only outlines how these blob creatures could have been even slightly more creative by using bubble gum or taffy as a more evident basis. I actually learnt that the Cotton Candy Glob from Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, which only furthers how much cooler this design could have been! The Cotton Candy Glob has so much personality, it oozes with style that accompanies the silly concept!
I kind of have nothing to say about this episode, it’s incredibly dull! I’m sorry!
8. The Haunted Carnival
The final episode of this iteration! It follows the gang aiding Dick van Dyke after he opens an amusement park but receives no customers.
Dick is best known for his roles in Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, but he’s been in a slew of movies! Despite his position of owning the carnival in this episode, he still is the celebrity, unlike a character like Don Knotts (I think? Still sometimes unsure of what they were going for there). He’s fine in this episode!
I wish I had any thoughts on this episode. It is maybe the most whatever I’ve felt about an episode - nothing stands out, not the villain, a ghostly strongman who is overshadowed by episode fours sportsman, not the guest and not the setting, which is overshadowed by Where are You’s Foul Play in Funland (S1E8).
The only note of worth I made about this episode was that I liked the caterpillar ride. Therefore, I won’t drag this out!
That concludes The New Scooby Doo Movies! I’ll post my overall villain and episode ranking in the following weeks where I’ll include a final overview of the series as a whole. Thank you for reading :)

Thinking about a reverse robins au where...
Talia leaves Damian, age 8, with Bruce due to infighting in the League of Assassins. Damian is Batman's Shadow until he and Bruce have a falling out over Bruce refusing to admit the Teen Titans to the League. Damian, age 18, takes on the name Nightwing and moves to New York to lead the Titans with Jon.
When Arthur Brown is killed, Crystal overdoses and Stephanie, age 12, becomes Spoiler to avenge her parents. Tim, age 11, sees her while stalking Batman and provides her with pictures and intel under the alias Shutter. Bruce catches them one night, and Tim blackmails him into mentoring them.
When Bruce realizes Stephanie is living on the street, he decides to adopt her. Jack and Janet are their typical absentee selves, so Tim's adoption remains unofficial. Damian, age 19, resents Tim and Stephanie so much that he refuses to let them train with the Titans.
The Joker kidnaps Tim, age 14, while he's on patrol and turns him into Joker Jr. Steph, age 15, goes solo to save him and Joker makes Tim beat her with a crowbar, then locks them in the warehouse with a bomb. Stephanie dies trying to save Tim, then is resurrected and taken by Talia al Ghul, who wants to use her as leverage to win Bruce and Damian back.
Tim, now paralyzed, becomes the Oracle, saying that there's no Shutter without Spoiler. Unbeknownst to anyone, he gets to work trying to clone Stephanie.
Damian, age 23, blames himself for Stephanie's death and moves back to Gotham. While hunting the Joker, Nightwing runs into Jason, age 13, who's working for Two Face. He finds out that Jason is trying to support his family - Catherine is still battling her drug addiction and Willis was left wheelchair-bound after working for Two-Face. When Damian looks at Jason, he sees another desperate teenager that he failed, and he's determined not to make the same mistakes again. He takes Jason under his wing, training (and paying) him to fight against crime rather than for it. Jason takes on the mantle of Michael (he is going to be the guardian angel of Crime Alley. He's going to defend them from every threat.)
Tim, age 15, finds out about Jason and comes as close to a villain origin story as he gets. He thinks that Damian is trying to replace Steph, and accuses him of grooming another martyr to die for Gotham. When Damian won't back down, Tim insists on being included in Jason's training and swears to pull the plug the *second* he thinks Damian is putting Jason in undue danger. Training Jason together gives Damian and Tim the common goal they need to build a functional relationship for the first time.
Stephanie, age 19, comes back to Gotham as the Red Hood to kill the Joker, only to find that he's been missing for years. Still, she's plenty annoyed with the new street kid who's stolen her place. (Damian wouldn't even LOOK at her, but he'll take this stupid kid to a baseball game? With Tim?)
She and Batman dance their dance for a few months, then she finds out that Jason isn't an orphan. That Bruce paid for rehab so his mom could get clean, then found his dad a job so they could move somewhere safe. And it's just... Where was Bruce before? Where was he when her mom overdosed? When her dad was killed? Where was he when Tim was taken and twisted, when he was beating her to death for that fucking clown, when she tried to shield him from the blast even as he was strangling her? Where was Bruce then?
Red Hood kidnaps Catherine and lures Jason, age 16, to the warehouse where the Joker killed her. She reveals his secret identity to Catherine, then beats the brakes off of him.(In another world, Sheila Haywood smoked a cigarette while Jason was beaten. In this one, Catherine Todd begs for his life.) There's a bomb because there always is. Because there has to be.
Batman isn't too late. He saves Jason and Catherine, but Hood gets away. Catherine begs Jason to hang up his suit, but Willis stops her. He tells Jason that he's proud of him, and glad that he's chosen a better path than Willis had.
Nightwing, age 26, hunts down the Red Hood while Oracle, age 18, puts together the pieces of her identity. Nightwing catches up to Hood her in one of her safe houses and has a very dramatic monologue, as a treat. ("The last person who left my siblings trapped with a bomb thought it was funny, too. But he wasn't laughing when I was done with him. I wonder if you'll have that same look on your face when I kill you.") He nearly kills her, but is stopped by Oracle.
Tim drags Stephanie back home kicking and screaming. After months of therapy, healing, and screaming at Bruce, she allows herself to be brought back into the fold. She and Jason will never be friends, but they've made amends enough to coexist. Stephanie takes up the Spoiler mantle again.
To celebrate, the family goes to Haly's Circus. The Grayson's die, and Bruce takes in Dick, age 9. Dick discovers their secret identities and dubs himself Robin. He's an angry little gremlin determined to murder Zucco, and Bruce feels like he's been here before a few times already.
Later, there's a rumor of another Spoiler running around. Stephanie, age 22, is not prepared to find tiny Barbara Gordon, age 10, running around by herself, trying to catch bad guys. She starts chasing Barbara around, trying to talk her out of heroics. ("Is this how Bruce felt? Oh, hell, I'm too young to be a mother.") She finally relents and starts training Barbara herself. ("But you can't steal my name, kid. Gotta come up with your own." "Fine. I'll be Batgirl, then." "Batgirl, huh? Alright, let's see if you can live up to it.")
I'm just so 😩 about them

Sin más que decir, les deseamos una bonita semana. ¡Gracias! ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა
