i've had what feels like a year long art block and now i'm trying to get back on track. feel like super rusty but muscle memory is really a thing (apparently). i still can't find it in me to not roll my eyes at the result, although it looks alright and actually better than nothing stuff i did before. but its okay, i've always enjoyed the process more anyway :)

Meet Kate Palladino, my Pirates of the Caribbean OC! 🎀🕯🌊🏴‍☠️

I love PoTC so much. 🙈 It’s one of my top 5 movie series. Is it silly to make an OC for it? Maybe. But it’s fun! Lemme introduce you to the lovely lady. 💕

🎀Her full name is Katherine Winifred Adelasia Palladino

🕯She’s a proper lady who lives in an estate by the sea

🌊Her father is a well-praised merchant, her mother is a poet

🏴‍☠️She’s currently pining over a man of the name of James Norrington who is absolutely oblivious of her affections

🎀She’s definitely the sunshine in the grumpy x sunshine relationship

🕯She has a boldness that she keeps mostly suppressed, it arises when her loved ones are involved

🌊She’s thoughtful, observant, and curious by nature

🏴‍☠️Unlike most proper folk, she doesn’t see pirates as good or bad which is an opinion she has taken up from her father

I basically created Kate because I love Norrington and I think he deserves someone who will love him as much as he loves Elizabeth.

I’m so delulu about her that I catch myself thinking she’s an actual canon character, absbsjsjshdk. 🙈

This is vastly different from my other posts, but I need other people in the world to know about my sillies. This is Aleena (mermaid) and Nathan (pirate), they are my OCs that I have had for YEARS and are one of my many passion projects. I hope that you guys like them as much as I do!!

NOTES ABOUT THEM;

Aleena (she/her) is the princess of Atlantis, the kingdom of the merpeople and Nathan (he/him) is the captain of ‘The Bird Of Death’, the most wanted pirate crew in the seven seas. They meet after Aleena becomes human, and fall in love.

Aleena is 19, and Nathan is 23.
