Hybrid Character interactions though,,how about Master/Reader giving Arisaka a firm but gentle massage? The poor thing must have some awful knots in his back, and while I don’t think a massage will heal any chronic pain, it can certainly be a soothingly pleasurable activity for any aching muscles ❤️❤️

I wanna spoil him so bad, I’ll even bring out the pain relief cream and rub that onto him to help the process out~

Having someone behind him always makes Arisaka nervous, and knowing that you plan to touch anywhere near his wings only makes the distant, rising anxiety worse.

It's not that he objects to pain (how could he, by now?), but his wings are delicate, fragile, and they've been hurt so many times.

"I'm gonna start now, okay?" you say, warning him. Supposedly, all you're going to do is massage his back and shoulders— an attempt to ease some of the perpetual tension and ache in them, or so you say. Arisaka figures you'll change your mind before long, and do the same rough, painful things as anyone else instead.

Perhaps that expectation is why the slow, soothing pressure of your touch catches him so off guard when it comes.

You rub over his narrow shoulder blades, careful of the puffy-feathered bases of his wings where they block your path. The pressure is steady and firm, yet somehow not painful at all, and Arisaka can't help but lean into your hands when you find a couple of deep, sore knots to work over.

You weren't lying. You're not hurting him. Instead, the warm weight of your touch feels so good that it's a struggle not to spread his wings and arch back into it.

Why are you doing this? Surely, he hasn't earned such a reward.

One week of night vision

Hi guys, so this weeks post is going to be about my thoughts after owning my night vision for a week. So ever since I got the night vision, I have taken it out every single night since getting it from Brownells and there are a handful of things I feel like I should mention in this post. Things being stuff that I thought was going to be true that I found out we’re not and things that I, just happen to notice while using it. That being said, let’s get into it.

First things first, I didn’t realize how much the weather played a role in using a vision. The day that I got my PVS 14 we just so happen to be in a new moon phase so there was absolutely no moon visible. That being said, I was still blown away the first time I use this, even though it was the worst night to be using night vision. Things like ambient light from more populated locations or even just the moon make a huge difference in using night vision. One more thing to consider is cloud coverage, so I’ve been using mine primarily in the woods where it’s already darker, but then you add no moon and cloud coverage, and it’s very dark, but yet I was still amazed by the performance of this nightvision device.

The second thing I want to talk about is movement under night vision. Initially, I thought this was going to be a very hard task from everything I’ve ever heard before but to my surprise it was actually very easy. Walking through the woods and on trails and even walking around in my pole barn with a bunch of junk all over the place , I didn’t have any issues with doing that. I think the main thing to keep in mind when you’re doing this is remember that you’re wearing a night vision device and remember that your senses are a little bit decreased and then you should be fine. I do think it’s very important though to get out and walk around and move and do things with your night vision before you expect to be some high tier operator with it.

Next up is going to be the night vision accessories that I have mounted on my rifle and pistol. Initially, I didn’t really know what to expect with this. When using the sionyx camera and looking at my IR output, I wasn’t blown away with the performance of any of the items that I chose. But once having proper night vision in hand, they work far better than what they look like on the camera. Obviously, just like with all civilian illuminator devices I wish the illuminator on my holosun had a little bit more power behind it. But the laser itself has been fantastic. The Modlite ir850 light head is ridiculously powerful, and will basically light up the woods for as far as you can see, and then that brings me to the streamlight vir2 that I have mounted on the Glock 44. Overall, I’m very happy with that for the price and it comes in that I think it’s a fantastic option. It throws a fair amount of flood which is nice for a pistol and the laser itself is very easy to pick up as well. I’ve been very happy with all the choices that I had made in the IR department.

Overall, the biggest hurdle with us is just getting the night vision itself. Once you do that, then you can figure the rest out very easily. Like I mentioned earlier in this, I got mine from brownells, which I will have links down below to check them out. ooh which guns would react the best and worst to a master who is a really doting parent to their own kid?? Master can’t help but treat the physically younger guns (Arisaka, Mouser, Kirsch, Ninety… who else??) like their kid sometimes especially if the bio-kid is like 14,15,16.

Arisaka — Your behavior reminds him of Murata, which is both a comfort and a source of frequent confusion. Arisaka eventually figures out that the unusually kind treatment is just a projection of how much you love your child, with him as the unintentional substitute (or so he assumes).

Murata — How you treat your own child says nothing about how you’ll treat your weapons… or so Murata thinks, right up until he realizes that you’re doting on Arisaka just as much. He’s wary (and takes a while to believe you can be trusted) yet still relieved by the consistent kindness.

Kirsch — He starts out liking the attention… but quickly turns frustrated when parental is all the more intimate you get. While Kirsch is plenty eager to be Master’s “baby”, the lack of lust behind your coddling makes him feel rejected, and terrified he’s done something wrong.

Mauser — While he’d never be so disrespectful as to protest his Master’s decisions, Mauser finds the coddling a bit unpleasant. It’s not that he dislikes it, exactly, but it’s distressing to feel that you don’t take him seriously as your protector and servant just because of his body’s appearance.

Eins — Going easy on some of your weapons just because their human forms appear younger is entirely unnecessary, and Eins won’t hesitate to tell you that. Deep down, however, he’s grateful that you’re so kind to his fellow guns, even when they can be far too troublesome to deserve it.

Carbine course prep

All right guys so this weeks post I wanted to make about what I’m doing to prepare for a carbine course that I am taking this month. This post isn’t meant to be a exact formula for what you should do. It is more meant to be a way to show what I’m doing and maybe to get an idea of what would work for you.

The first step is to head over to brownells and grab yourself a case of rifle ammo, and use code BOP10 to save some money on that. I grabbed a case which was perfect. They gave me 500 rounds to train with over the couple weekends that I have before the class. And then it gives me 500 rounds to take to the class.

The course that I’m taking is through MDFI which is a local company here in Michigan to me that offers a ton of really cool firearms training at various locations in Michigan. The class and I’m gonna take us their foundation carbine. Luckily, I was able to find a foundation qualifier PDF file on their website so I can get a little bit of a Headstart on that.

Overall, I really like this, because all four of the shooting drills in my opinion are very useful even outside of just preparing for this class. Next weeks post is going to be about another very good training aid that I highly recommend picking up. All four of the shooting drills have a par time of six seconds, which is very easily achievable, even while taking your time And making good well-placed shots. There is also a qualifier target that is printable in the same PDF file that prints on just a single sheet of paper. It is supposed to be shot from 15 yards which seems like it is very close but you can easily shoot outside of the box from this distance.

For me, I have found this very useful to do as a preparation for this class. I’m sure there is tons of things that I’m going to learn in this class that will make this even easier to do. But I think this is a very good start for anyone that wants to just be prepared to go to their first rifle course.
