The Dosric Family

A little bit of history of the two Tavs I'm gonna be playing with at launch!

The Dosric Family, hailing from the city of Neverwinter, consisted of Artel Dosric, his wife, Lynnette Hale, and their two children, Aleta and Nedry (1)(2). Artel was a half-elven wizard and guild member of the Many-Starred Cloak. For decades he served Neverwinter and the guild, all while keeping his true nature and Bhaal worship a secret. His wife, Lynn, was an inventor and the daughter of a wealthy merchant family, known for manufacturing weapons, armor, and machines of war. Their marriage was an arranged one and lead to the births of their two children. Aleta, a tiefling, is their eldest daughter and, much like her father, gifted with great magical potential. Artel took it upon himself to personally tutor his daughter, but Aleta was an unwilling student. Their son, Nedry, is as unremarkable as they come, but he makes up for it with his sunny disposition.

Lynn learned of Artel's Bhaal worship through Leslie Bean, a Harper who was investigating a series of murders happening within and around the outskirts of Neverwinter. Her leads directed her to Artel. With Lynn's help, Leslie was able to gather enough evidence to imprison Artel. In return, Lynn wanted to start a new life for herself and her two children. Since then, Lynn has set up her own shop and raised Aleta and Nedry within the grand city walls of Baldur's Gate...

Loch Ard Gorge, Great Ocean Road, Victoria: The Loch Ard Gorge is part of Port Campbell National Park, Victoria, Australia, about three minutes' drive west of The Twelve Apostles. The gorge is named after the clipper Loch Ard that was shipwrecked on 1 June 1878 near the end of a three-month journey from England to Melbourne.
