i feel so bad for past douxie. just imagine that youre just living your life with your best friend and then suddenly the future version of yourself pops out of nowhere and shoves you in a closet. then even after you're out of the closet and awake, your best friend is now always hanging out with your future self and never with you. AND your dad/mentor spends WAY more time with future you, and no one seems to want you around at all.
