Note
Jonathan referencing the Arabian Nights fits with exactly what had happened earlier that day. The bride distracting her lord's violence towards her, through storytelling.
But this time, Jonathan takes a more passive role than the bride (Aka. Scheherazade) when he, through many questions, makes Dracula monologue about history, and conquests instead of telling the stories himself.
Both Scheherazade, and Jonathan are at the mercy of a man who can kill them without any repercusions because that person outranks them in both wealth, and class. Both are physically trapped inside a castle with said man with no means of escape by themselves, and with the threat of their lives on the line.
What can they do in this hopeless situation? Scheherazade takes the task for herself to entertain the king with her beautiful tales, feeding his curiosity with every kind of story, and denying him of an ending, in order to live another day.
Jonathan takes upon the task of asking about Transylvania to the Count, making him talk through all of the night, in a way that he can turn around, and use to make Dracula feed his own ego, so he can live another day.

Publishers’ Binding Thursday
This week’s publishers’ binding book is Arabian Nights’ Entertainment selected and edited by Scottish poet and novelist Andrew Lang. This edition was published in 1898 in New York and London by Longmans, Green & Co. It contains illustrations of the One Thousand and One Nights tales by English illustrator H.J. Ford, who illustrated several books by Lang. This book is part of our Historical Curriculum Collection of books for children.
The cover features a deep blue background with a scene of a scaled, horned, winged figure flying through the night sky over an Arabian palace. The spine has the title stamped in gold at the top with the editor’s name underneath and a man carrying a basket on his head at the bottom.

hmmm bit difficult to find a palette I like
thoughts?
I was going to draw some of her stories in the swirl / fabric, but I don't want it to get too crowded? Not sure how I'll get around that.

Note
Since Tails' Arabian Nights counterpart is Ali Baba, that must mean Ali has access to a buttload of treasure according to what I learned about the story, albeit with extremely obvious creative liberties taken on what lead him down that path
Indeed he does, the little guy owns the treasure of the 40 Thieves. Also, that kid is dangerous and knows methods of violence not even Nine could match. The only creative liberty I'm taking is that Ali is a kid and not a man so some specific characters from the original story are entirely removed(in the main story, both Ali Baba and Qasim were adults and had a wife respectively)
Additionally, I must say, Sonic is so darn lucky he dodged the role of Qasim and instead got Aladdin.
