Monsters vs aliens sokkla au
Princess Azula of the Fire Nation is to be married to Nobleman Chan. Right before the ceremony, she's hit by a meteor and absorbed the radiation. Azula seemed fine so she continued with the wedding. But while exchanging vows, she grew 50ft tall and accidently destroyed the temple in a blind panic. The military tranquilized before she could cause more damage.
Azula woke up in a top-secret government facility that housed monsters. She insisted that she's not a monster but the Fire Nation princess. She was ignored and renamed Ginormica then forbidden to make any contact with her family and friends. The other monsters and her new cell mates are a girl made entirely of rocks called the Blind Bandit, a massive 350 ft six-legged bison called Appa, and a literal werewolf dubbed Beastman. Azula wanted nothing to do with them and scoffed when Beastman tried to welcome her to the group.
Shortly later, an alarm was sounded, and the monsters are transferred to Republic City that was being destroyed by huge alien robots as a last-ditch effort. Azula only agreed to fight if the government set the free, which they gave into. The robots were sent to retrieve the radiation Azula absorbed and targeted her specifically. Azula put up a fight and the others help. They all bond during the battle, especially Azula and Beastman as they bounce ideas off each other. They eventually destroy the robots and save the city and people.
The government honored their deal and set them free. Azula was the only one who knew where her family was, so she invited them along. She was really excited to be with Chan again and her family, but mostly Chan. The Royal Fire Nation family was both happy and shocked to see her again but try to make do with it. Meanwhile, the other monsters cause havoc since it was their first time around other humans in years. Appa ate the whole garden (RIP Ursa) while Blind Bandit accidently caused massive property damage playing a game and Beastman scared the nobles he was trying to talk to.
Azula found Chan who was hiding from her. She picked him up and tried to kiss him, but he squirmed away and called her a freak in front of everyone. Azula said it's still her, but Chan refused to listen and ran off. Ozai then said he'll find a nice private island for her and her 'friends' to live on which Ursa and Zuko agree. The "go away you're scaring us" undertones were very strong which crushed Azula.
She wandered off and sulked in the nearby jungle alone. Beastman found her and tried to comfort her, but Azula snapped by saying he couldn't possibly know what it was like to lose a family. Beastman said he does and shared his backstory. He wasn't discovered alone by explorers but kidnapped from his home in the Southern Water Tribe as a pup. He doesn't remember what his family looked like, but he remembered their love and his real name, Sokka. He then called Chan a jerk for hurting her and they share a moment.
A shadow then fell over them and Azula was sucked up by a tractor beam into an alien mothership. Appa tried to save her, but the beam was too strong even for the giant bison. Azula was brought to a machine that drained the radiation and shrunk her back to normal size. The alien leader then locked Azula in a cell and used the radiation to start a full-scale invasion on Earth.
The other monsters get the government's help to sneak onboard and rescues Azula. Meanwhile, Azula already escaped the cell and confronted the alien leader but was no match for him in human form. The others arrive to help, but they can't take the alien leader who was using the radiation as a power boost. He's about to kill them one by one, starting with Sokka. Until Azula shattered the container holding the radiation and returned to her giant size, turning the tide in their favor. Together they blow up the ship and escape on Appa who had learned how to fly.
They receive a hero's welcome when they returned to Earth. Chan tried to hook up with Azula again, but she rejected him by flicking him away with her finger. Sokka laughed and in the spur of the moment kissed her. He tried to apologize but Azula kissed him back and Blind Bandit teased them.
Ozai's offer for a private island is brought up and the government backed it up with state-of-the-art living as a thanks, but news came in of a monstrous snail mutation making its way to Omashu. Azula stood tall, with Sokka in hand, and told her father she's busy. They then climb onto Appa and fly off to save Omashu.

Kinktober Day 22
Pet Play - Gyuvin
!dom Gyuvin
Gyuvin loved cats. He had his own dog, Eumppappa, and of course, she was his baby. But he loved cats so much, and always complained that he couldn’t own one. He was constantly sending you photos of stray cats, naming them, whining and moaning that he wished he had a bigger house so he could get one without worrying about fighting with the dog, but alas.
One day, you had enough. You made a stop on your way home from work at a sex shop, knowing exactly what you wanted, and not caring about the cost behind it. A pair of white clip-on cat ears, a white and pink lace collar and leash, and the most important item of all… a white, fluffy tail attached to a plug. You were only new to ass play, but felt confident that you would make this work, anything for Gyuvin, right? You buy the items, and gratefully accept them in an inconspicuous bag to take home.
Upon your arrival, you find the house is empty, and when you check your phone you see that Gyuvin had texted you. Just taking Eumppappa for a walk, silly, I’ll be back. You sigh in relief, taking the opportunity to shower and prepare yourself, and once dry, you take your purchases out of the bag and make yourself… catlike.
You hear the front door open, and giggle as you hear Eumppappa’s scampering feet as she runs up the hallway, heading towards the living room where her bed is, she always needs a nap after a walk, and that gives you more privacy.
“Oppa!” You call out, readjusting your ears, and making sure that the tail is tight and secure in your ass, you wrap the end of the leash around your wrist and take one last look at yourself in the bathroom mirror, “I have a surprise for you.”
Gyuvin’s footsteps are purposeful as he makes his way to you, right at the time that you step out of the bathroom and he stops dead in his tracks only a metre away. You smile softly, tilting your head to the side with widened eyes, playing into your natural aegyo, smile fading into a pout.
“Holy shit,” Gyuvin sighs, his breath catching in his throat as you turn to the side, giving him just a little view of the tail you have in, “Baby… you look so fucking hot.”
You step forward and close the gap between you, reaching up to hold his shoulders, letting the leash fall out of your hand, the chain clanging as it hits the floor. Gyuvin’s hand races up to your cat-ears, playing with the fur between his fingers, his gaze darkening as he continues to process what he sees. You trail your fingers down his chest, feeling his body through the thin t-shirt material he is wearing. His hands slide down your back, desperate to feel your tail, but so distracted by your ass. One hand moves to take the leash, and he tugs on it gently, testing it out, groaning as you let out the softest meow when he pulls a little too tight.
“I hope I can suffice as the cat you’ve always wanted,” You giggle, “Until we move somewhere else.”
“Oh, you do,” Gyuvin nods, “My pretty little kitten.”
He turns and walks, with you eagerly following out of both excitement, and fear of being choked by the collar, towards your bedroom, where Gyuvin makes himself comfortable on the mattress, moving back to make room for you between his legs. You perch on your knees, sitting back as much as you can without hurting yourself on your tail, and wait expectantly for his order.
“Come here, kitty,” He coos, pulling at the leash to bring you closer, “Good girl, come to appa.”
You straddle his hips, and he drops the leash to grab your ass and pull you closer. His cock already tenting in his tracksuit pants, you paw at the hem of his shirt and he laughs before obliging you, tearing the material over his head in one swift move. He grabs the leash again and tugs you forward to kiss him, his other hand slipping between your cheeks to feel where your hole clenches around the metal toy inside of you. He moans into your mouth, already growing impatient, and pushes you away to quickly pull his pants down too.
“Do you want me to ride you?” The words fall from your lips far too innocently for how dirty they are, “Kitty wants appa’s cock.”
From older brother, to daddy, Gyuvin’s attitude has changed completely. He nods and you lean up on your knees so that he can guide you down onto his cock, mewling as he fills you, so big, so fucking big. The pleasure hits differently when your ass is already full, and your eyes roll back as you roll your hips down to take him in all the way. Your body shakes from the stretch, but you try to remain focused, obsessed with the way that Gyuvin stares at you hungrily.
Soon he rolls you over to hit it from the back, wanting to stare at the tail for a moment before he uses the leash to pull you up so that your back is flush against his chest. The new angle has you blabbering, falling apart within moments, your high racking through your body with force as he pulls you back into him with every thrust, the plug going in deeper as his cock does too. You aren’t sure at what point Gyuvin releases, but the bulge in the lower front of your stomach from his cock begins to go down as he slows, softening ever so slightly inside of you but he does not want to pull out, not yet.
“I think we should stay here tonight,” Gyuvin murmurs, kissing you softly as he readjusts your ears, “I’m gonna need more than just one round with you dressed like this.”

I don't ship kataang, nor any ship in atla, so when I say this I'm talking from more of a platonic perspective, but I really don't think Aang was trying to push his beliefs onto Katara as much as people think in TSR, just like Zuko didn't push her to violence. Aang shouldn't have said it how he did, but when he and Sokka said what they said, they didn't say it because they thought it was necessarily wrong, but because they knew killing someone would not help katara (although Sokka and Aang are very different here considering, especially considering Katara is Sokkas sister), and we find out later in the episode that revenge wasn't the suitable option for her. Yes, Katara wanted more than to just confront Yon Rha, but I don't think Aang was demonising Katara when he said she was like Jet. This part is really all up for interpretation, but Jet died a noble death and Katara mourned him personally, he was a child taken over by revenge after the grief of his parents and village, and Katara, Sokka and Aang all saw how it ended for him. And in the end, they don't stop Katara. They let her go, even if they're scared she might end up killing him, but even if she had, they wouldn't have shut her out. Aang himself had several instances in which he would have taken several lives (sandbenders) if katara hadn’t stopped him. That’s why he says, “I’m proud of you,”, not because shes proud she went by what he said, because katara arrived at that moral decision on her own, without the influence of external sources. That was all her- it wasn't Aang, it wasn't Zuko, or anyone else. Neither Aang, nor even Zuko, are forcing her to do anything as much as people say, or trying to force their opinions and wants on her. I definitely think that the point other anon said about the fact Aang physically can't get revenge is a good point- it means that even if he wanted to, he couldn't understand Katara fully because its impossible for him to be put in that position since everyone who attacked the air temples is dead by time. But that's the thing, everyone in the group has experienced different things, and that doesn't make it that they're supporting someone less or more because of it. Sorry if this was long, I just have a lot of thoughts on this
I think one can read TSR's interactions both in a friendship and in a relationship lead-up light, but it can 100% be read just in a platonic light. While I don't agree with all your interpretation, I do agree with some of it, which is part of the joy of fandom. As I'm sure you can tell, I also have a lot of thoughts on that episode (all the show, really), so having a lot of thoughts yourself is always welcome.
I do read Aang as trying to at least get Katara to see his point of view on the idea of confronting Yon Rha, but by reading that, I have to ask myself, Why? Why is he trying to get her to see things from his point of view? The most logical answer I can come to is because he wants her to agree with him. I don't even know if Katara doesn't see it from his point of view, because she never explicitly says—what she does say is that she knows he "wouldn't understand," which indicates to me that she, at least, very much feels that he isn't trying to see things from her perspective. I think that's where the bigger conflict comes in, and why she gets so mad, especially when he compares her to Jet. This is where I have to somewhat disagree with what I'm reading as you trying to argue: Katara knows Aang isn't referring to how Jet died in Ba Sing Se, he's referring to Jet's quest for vengeance against a (colonized) town of Fire Nation people. Coupled with that is the fact that Jet manipulated both her and Aang into helping him get things set up to destroy the town, with the intention of killing all its inhabitants.
Just like it's not a 1:1 comparison for Aang to compare losing a very much alive Appa to Katara essentially witnesses her mother's murder (which is a script-writing question I have: why in the world would Aang be written to say that when he could easily have said, "My entire culture was wiped out by the Fire Nation, I know how it feels to lose everyone you love," instead. That boggles my mind), it's certainly not a 1:1 comparison for Aang to make about Katara, wanting to confront a specific person who did her direct harm, to Jet, whose rage was directed at anyone of Fire Nation origin or descent.
I do agree that Aang says, "I'm proud of you," because he thinks she chose not to kill Yon Rha and instead forgive him because of what he said, but he's wrong. Katara chose not to kill Yon Rha because of herself, and she certainly did not choose to forgive him, which she explicitly tells Aang. Like I said, she ultimately is swayed by neither Aang or Zuko, and that also includes her final decisions about Yon Rha (both to not kill and not forgive him). Saying things like, "[Aang] and Sokka said what they said . . . because they knew killing someone would not help katara," is exactly the issue here as well. They're assuming they know what's best for Katara and what she needs, instead of allowing her to make that decision for herself. (Also, Aang does absolutely think killing someone is wrong, which we see is his very big conflict with the entire group regarding how to deal with Ozai, but you are right in that Sokka doesn't view it as wrong.) But again, that's likely why she gets mad at Sokka, too—because he's assuming he knows better than Katara what she needs and what's "best" for her.
And, having those different opinions and perspectives and conflicts isn't inherently a bad thing itself, but it is bad when Katara is seen by the audience as being in the wrong somehow and Aang in the right because the narrative never addressed it and/or the creators tried to push their own agenda of the scenario in commentary when that isn't reflected in canon. (I'm not trying to imply you're doing that here, but I mention it because I've seen many people cite that as a reason in their argument.)

The Year You Broke Me
[2012]
Everything had gone down so quickly.
When December was spent with the complete family, smiles, and memorable moments. January had taken the opposite path and was fast-paced, hectic, and unknowingly to us was life-changing.
Jimin had told his parents about his desire to try what his Hagwon had recommended for him. In the first months of the year, he auditioned for a few companies that went to scout in Busan. Jimin’s Hagwon knew a few people before he was acquainted with someone from a company in Seoul. I wasn’t well informed on the details of that company, though all I knew was that they were trusted and were looking for talented artists that I knew Jimin was a part of.
I still supported Jimin as I often saw him smile behind an exhausted and sweat-filled face after practice and auditions. I could tell he wanted this, and I wanted nothing more than to make him happy. I felt as though he deserved an admission, so when it finally came it was only a matter of time for Jimin to grow more occupied in his passion.
It was usually me who accompanied JiHyun to Kendo, and it would be us studying together and having fun whilst we waited for Jimin. We shared this understanding of hoping Jimin succeeded though missing his company and unwarranted full attention.
Jimin moved to Seoul on the 15th of May and my parents had started talking about moving Eomma, Ahnna, and me to the States. Apparently, their visit to Busan had made them realize just how much they missed us and Appa had quickly sorted a few files and started paperwork to rent out a bigger apartment.
Everything was moving too quickly. I was scared and I had no one.
I always went with the flow, but the stream went in multiple directions and I couldn’t keep track of where everything was.
Sure, Jimin and I called frequently but it was usually abrupt and cut short as he was too tired from training and school. However, I still had the chance to meet a few of his new friends in Seoul.
Jungkook was also from Busan so I hoped they understood each other well. Taehyung was also only a few months younger than Jimin and they didn’t seem to get along too well, but I’m still glad Jimin had people looking after him in Seoul.
We had built up this routine of calling every Sunday as they usually got off training earlier. When I say ‘earlier’ I mean they get out of their studio at around eleven in the evening but that’s fine.
I could stay up all night just to listen to Jimin’s voice. He usually hummed me to sleep in their living room before he’d hang up and go inside their room to sleep. He said it might bother his hyungs if he hummed in their shared bedroom.
It was when Summer vacation started that my parents had set the date for our departure from South Korea.
We’d leave for America in December.
I had to make a decision by then. Whether I’d go with my family or I stayed with… no one.
I couldn’t possibly ask the Parks to take care of me. Jimin was in Seoul and despite practically living with the Parks for the majority of my life. They were what they were. They were my boyfriend’s family, and living with them was simply taking advantage of that fact.
I had to make up my mind. I had to find the right flow to follow in the stream, but I was always terrible at making decisions for myself.
So I went to Seoul. I went to get an understanding of what the stream with Jimin had in store and I soon got my answer.
“Let’s break up.”
His voice felt foreign. His tone was flat and even, almost as if saying it was something he could say any other day. His face stayed stoic against the winds. The little light that was left in the sky illuminated the pupils who couldn’t look at mine. He had his hands in his coat pockets, a cap that covered his black hair, and a posture that was too straight to be comfortable.
I was ready to listen to his reasons. Reasons that I already knew. Reasons that I knew I could do little but comfort and remind him how much I adored his commitment to his passion, but that doesn’t mean he had to throw his personal life away. He couldn’t possibly throw me away just like that.
“Can’t you explain? Let’s talk—“
“There’s nothing more to talk about.”
His accent was thick as he cut me off. Hangul syllables sliding off his tongue and sharpened by his teeth before they come piercing toward me. His cold eyes finally landed on mine and what I saw from the man in front of me scared me.
“Jimin.”
“Areum.”
He was growing irritated but I still wanted to fight, even though that’s all we do in the few moments we see each other with his tight schedule of work, school, work, school, work. Gone was the Jimin that specifically left his schedule on the weekends empty just to let himself rest and spend time with his loved ones.
I rented out a place for a month in Seoul funded by my savings and was just a block down from his apartment, yet he barely came to see me. I’d wait day and night, text him about inviting his friends over so we could order some Jjajangmyeon, though he always said that they already had a meal from the restaurant above their dance studio.
Though I knew of his insecurities. I knew his worries about his Busan accent earlier when he arrived in Seoul. I would be stupid to not understand that he was probably also embarrassed about his Busan friends, like me.
“Talk to me, Jimin.”
He heaved a heavy sigh as he tapped his foot on the concrete brick pathway we stood on. The surrounding park was far from empty, yet to me all that mattered was in the hands of the man in front of me.
I knew he wanted me to accept it and stop pushing him to explain, but I needed to fight. I needed to feel like I did something to stop this. I needed closure from him. A reason for me to leave South Korea and close this chapter of my life.
“Please.”
My voice broke and my eyes brimmed with tears as I desperately tried to keep myself composed.
“Don’t cry. We knew this was going to happen.”
Jimin freed his hands from his pockets as he reached his arms out to me. I didn’t want his hugs. I didn’t want his pitiful warmth and comfort, but oh how weak I was when it came to this man.
“We’re not happy.”
“We can work it out.”
I spoke against the fabric on his chest. As I held onto his coat tighter, not willing to let him go.
“I’m not treating you how you deserve to be treated.”
His voice was warmer than before as his hand reached to pat the top of my head.
“I don’t care. We can work past this. I can stay behind and Appa will send me money from America… We can go back to being friends. I just— I just need you…”
He sighed at my desperation and I couldn’t help but let a few tears escape my eyes. The warmth his body radiated did nothing to stop a shiver from crawling up my spine as I basked in what possibly could be the last moments I could fight for us.
“It still won’t work. I need to focus on debuting. I have six other members and a company relying on us to financially save them. I go to the Korean Arts Highschool now, I seriously need to focus, I can’t mess this up.”
“You won’t mess it up.”
“But you need to be loved. You can’t keep supporting me. You need support too and I can’t give you that. You deserve better.”
“You are better.”
I answered without missing a beat but he only pushed me away and the warmth he provided was gone.
“Areum, don’t make this difficult.”
The cold and flat tone in his voice was back now, and I knew that this time I wouldn’t be able to bring it back to its melodiously warm comforting tone. I closed my eyes to stop my tears from flowing, though my body would still jolt with a sniff from time to time.
“Let’s stop. It’s better for both of us.”
I can softly make out his whisper in the air and I can feel the tears slipping past my closed lids. Nothing stopped my emotions from escaping me as I brought my hand to my face to wipe my tears. Though I focused more on not letting the sound of the sobs that wanted to rip through my chest out.
They told me turning a friend into a lover wasn’t one for the faint-hearted. You'd not only lose a relationship, but you’d lose a friend too, and you’ll have no one else to blame but yourself. Because why would you break something that was well off, to begin with?
Worst than that, I hadn’t only lost my friend but I also lost a second family. In no world can I come back and ask the Parks to help. JiHyun wasn’t my childhood friend anymore… he was merely my ex’s brother.
The reasons why I wanted to stay ten years ago are all gone.
Busan was no longer home. Not when I was alone.
We had already stopped our contract in paying for the apartment and it would only be ours to live in by the end of the year.
School to me was a nightmare when I didn’t know anyone from Seoul especially because it was known that I’d probably only be there for a maximum of three months before switching schools to America.
I lost my friends.
I lost the Parks.
I didn’t know how much time had gone by as I stood still with tears on my cheeks, but once I opened my eyes there was nothing in front of me but the lights of the Hangang Bridge and the trees of the Riverside Park.
It was over.

About Zuko and his destiny
Remember I said that "pride is a source of shame" speech was supposed to be about self-esteem recently? Well, it was a stupid thing to say! Never believe my words ever without thinking critically! Muhahaha! At least I added "I guess" before it, it's my only consolation.
I mean, inadequately high self-esteem is a potential source of shame, as well as shame is a potential trigger of hiding from reality behind an illusion of your greatness, but Iroh was talking about different things here. Sorry guys, my mind is a mess.
This speech in the context was actually about locus of control* and respect towards destiny (and bigger powers in general).
*I'm not sure this term is used the same in different languages and psychological conceptions, but I explain what exactly I meant by this below
So, to regain my honor, I wanna talk a little bit about Zuko and his locus of control here.
The boy's problem is that he believes himself capable of controlling things he actually has no power over. That's the main reason for "turmoil in his soul" - shame is only a symptom of this (as well as him not thinking things through, but more on this later).
The thing is, you're never going to be angry or ashamed of not achieving something you deem impossible. And controlling destiny is something impossible for a human.
Zuko talks about destiny a lot, but he doesn't really respect it. He thinks he can tell his destiny what it should be, but destiny is a bit like lightning - you can't command it, only to be its humble conductor. (Him yelling at the storm in the "Bitter Work" and not getting his "answer" was a brilliant illustration of this, actually)
And "You can choose your own destiny" is a good thing to believe only as long as you interpret it humbly.
That is, you can choose your goals and ways of achieving them, and thus you can affect the course of your life to a certain extent, but destiny always involves bigger (or just different) powers than a person's own will. And when you don't respect those powers, you're doomed to be constantly angry and frustrated with your life and other people.
Let's look at the later episodes of book 2 from this angle.
Iroh scolded Zuko for not thinking things through when he found him with Appa, but he didn't make an accent on the reason behind it: Zuko believed that his will is stronger than objective circumstances and everything should solve itself somehow just because he wants it.
Still, Zuko wasn't all that hopeless, and he actually managed to get this thing right by himself later during his sickness! (Or at least that is what I believe now). His "magical metamorphosis" insight actually was about him realizing that he couldn't command his destiny and thus finally accepting his circumstances.
And it was a good thing and a very big improvement in itself!
But Zuko's general system of twisted beliefs and values was not something what could be fixed just by Iroh's yelling or Katara's kindness. So, the moment the circumstances changed and the "destiny" he wanted became actually achievable, Zuko took it. And this makes the end of book 2 painfully logical.
(Well, actually, I have another interpretation for Zuko's mysterious transformation here.
You see, when you yell "Think of who you are and what do you want" at someone who loves you in the moment they're about to make a decision you clearly don't approve, it's basically a scream "Please be a person I want you to be".
Then, Zuko's choice of freeing Appa was mostly dictated by his love towards Iroh (and a bit by general "to hell with all this, since I'm already here..." impulse). Zuko didn't choose "good" - he chose to make Iroh happy in the conditions when he couldn't really do much else. Iroh misinterpreted Zuko's behavior here, and it was a set-up for the whole future disaster.
You see, he tried to put in Zuko's head the idea that "his destiny" is not something he really wants. But catching the Avatar (by stealing his bison) was something Zuko wanted. For many different reasons. He was neither pretending nor trying to fulfill someone else's will here.
And you should never treat people like idiots who don't know their own desires - this is what Zuko's betrayal teaches us. That, and what love and respect are two completely different things: Azula, with all her manipulations, actually showed Zuko more respect than his uncle here.)
Something like this. Thanks for your attention again?..
I ignore all notifications.
The next part of 'Overanalyzing Maiko' series is in working.
P. S.: By the way, Iroh had a proverb about self-worth as well! "The best tea tastes delicious whether it comes in a porcelain pot or a tin cup". This man has many wise things to say, he's great! … Except what he didn't make a difference between "best" tea and "unconditionally self-loving" tea clear here. Oh well.
I wonder how many stupid things I said without realizing it this time lol. Whyyy my brain is such a mess?

The Frog Prince | 3k | yoonmin✍🏼
A tale where single dad Yoongi comes across a folktale coming true - for him and his little family. Could Jimin be his happily ever after?
[ based on a folktale | happy ending | magic | fluff | single dad Yoongi | Yoongi's parents are idiots ]
➳
Yoongi sighed heavily as he straightened his back.
He was surrounded by boxes and boxes of stuff. Not once he had questioned himself if he really needs so much belongings. He asked himself that while folding his fifth black hoodie.
And while sealing a box full of his old college papers that could be reused because they were printed on one side only. He looked around the room and frankly, saw nothing but the empty walls and big space. Don't get him wrong.
He was grateful his parents are worried about him even though he not long ago turned thirty.
He kind of felt like they care because they pulled some of their strings and savings to get him this flat instead of the old one just across two roads from here. Not like it was very hard for them.
They were both CEOs of their respective conglomerates and he was a black sheep that was not long ago occupying their first ever bought flat.
What a bad image for the upper class family. That place was old and in need of renovation.
But it was home.
So much has happened there.
He spent all his university days and working days and all others in that tiny apartment and he was alright.
They were alright. - Appa! - a joyous voice sounded behind him and just a second after small hands wrapped around his legs.
Mingi was turning 5 years old today.
It was his day, Yoongi decided, his and his only.
So he forgot about endless unpacking and went on with their morning routine. After breakfast it was time for presents.
Mingi has been asking for a bow with arrows ever since he's seen his father at work.
As an archery instructor he was making decent enough money. He remembers the first time he took a then 3 year old son with him to a shooting range because his babysitter fell sick suddenly.
The little boy was completely mesmerized by the beautiful bow Yoongi was handling. Ever since he's been asking for one of his own.
And Yoongi was happy to provide once he was old enough.
So that was exactly what he got him. It was a nicely carved wooden bow and safe arrows to go with it.
When he was five he would have loved to receive such present. Mingi was awed with it.
He proposed to go shooting right now and surely it was exactly what his father had in mind.
They rode the bus to the park on the outskirts of the city. It had hiking paths and conservatories where people could rest. Deep further laid a wild beautiful forest, almost straight out of fairytales.
It was a perfect place. They've been learning to shoot for a couple of hours when during one of the tries Yoongi shot his arrow so far he wasn't sure where it landed.
They went to look for it (they weren't cheap and weren't as easily replaceable as Mingi's). Trying to get through the tall grass and walking around somewhat neatly trimmed bushes, they followed the path of the arrow.
The trees got thicker and paths grew more unattended. His son kept calm, grasping onto his hand with his little one. Yoongi was contemplating on turning back but he was stubborn.
And he was determined to carry on with his self assigned task. At some point the treeline got weaker until disappearing completely.
They walked into a clearing, half submerged in water. It looked like a beautifully flourished swamp, surrounded by flowers and thick moss. There was a bigger bump in the middle where something seemed to be glistening in the warm rays of afternoon sun.
- Papa, look, that's your arrow! - Mingi shouted in joy, but didn't try to approach it on his own.
Instead he kept close to Yoongi. They both walked up to it, mindful of water pools scattered here and there among patches of flowers.
That's when the man noticed: his arrow was moving. He looked closely and saw someone sitting on that bump, his arrow clasped in a hand of a...
- A frog? - he exclaimed incredulously. There, slightly waving his arrow around sat a frog, with beautiful golden patterns on its head that were glittering just as bright as the steal shaft of his weapon.
The movement immediately stilled at the sound of his voice. The creature seemed to have looked straight into his eyes before opening its mouth.
- First of all, good afternoon.
- Good afternoon! - Mingi shouted brightly.
His dad didn't even react to his happy outburst. - Now, I like that young man for sure, - the frog looked like it's smile just got wider, - Second of all, I'm not some "frog"! - his nose (do frogs even have it? A nose? Is it a snout?) turned up proudly, making them look almost royal. Yoongi felt as if the ground started sinking under his feet.
Which wasn't totally impossible because they were practically standing in the middle of a swamp.
- Who are you? - he asked tentatively, - And can I have my arrow back, please? - Please? - added Mingi with eyes wide open.
The creature sighed.
- Everyone suddenly stopped reading I think, - the frog grumbled, - Take me with you and I'll tell you a story, gentlemen. And then I maybe - maybe - I will return your arrow. - Papa, come on! Can we? - he put his hands together and wait, this was a dangerous tactic.
Yoongi might as well give up right this second.
So he resigned.
He found himself walking back with the bow behind his back and the mysterious (magical?) frog in his hands. During their trip home (except the bus journey when he had to cover up their new acquaintance with his bandana scarf) the creature retold them an old folktale about the Frog Tsarina. How there once were three brothers who wanted to find their betrothed.
So they shoot an arrow each and the first one ended up in duke's daughters hands and the second was caught by merchant's daughter.
The youngest of three brothers found his in a frogs clasp, among the swamp. - But it was not a mere frog, gentlemen, - the mysterious creature said, - that was a cursed daughter of a very powerful warlock.
Mingi gasped and clutched his hands next to his chest.
- So he was to marry that frog then? - Yoongi asked, exasperated. Oh no, what would his nana think.
He walked right into the trap.
But having been brought up by all these life changing magical pieces of wisdom he knew he had to follow the rules.
Or maybe he felt a tad passive today. The creature turned to him and stated:
- The youngest son had to go through the deadliest quest in far away lands and had to outsmart and dethrone her father, of course!
Yoongi paled.
He felt the cold sweat clinging to his skin. - Or... - the frog hummed, contemplating.
- Or?? - Mingi was excited by the prospect of an adventure ahead.
- The true love kiss should work too, I suppose, - it was clearly a too boring and simple option for the frog (warlock's daughter?). - What's your name? - the man asked once they were all inside their brand new flat.
The creature jumped on the dresser and announced pompously:
- I'm Jimin the Wise, as they call me. Or just Jimin for you. Yoongi whipped into the kitchen and came back with a deep baking tray filled with lukewarm water.
He put in on top of the dresser, gesturing to their guest that he was welcome to sit there.
- Thank you, you're really hospitable! - He immediately got inside, sighing in pleasure. - Nice to meet you, Jimin! - Mingi was trying to talk through his yawning.
- Okay, - Yoongi said, - it's bedtime for you, young man. And you...
- Jimin, - the other offered helpfully.
- Jimin... would you mind waiting for me here? Then we can talk? After receiving a nod in response he followed his son to help him with his routine.
When he came back he noticed Jimin studying something lying next to the tray, the fated arrow still in his grasp. It was a fancy looking envelope, and despite golden pattern and all, the man hasn't noticed it among morning mail he carelessly slapped on the dresser.
- Excuse me, - He said, tentatively taking and opening it, - Argh! - Not a pleasant depeche? - Jimin inquired, stretching his body to peak at the writing.
Yoongi sat on the small entryway bench, rubbing his face.
- Funny thing, Jimin, this is what I was dreading for a long time but it turned out to be inevitable. Jimin's smart eyes were trained on him.
- You're quite the dramatic gentleman, I see. - He jumped closer, urging him to finally take the arrow he has been keeping for so long, - Lovely!
Yoongi put it away and gave the letter another once-over. - My parents' wedding anniversary is coming up and they're holding a big celebration. I was really hoping to avoid it because each and every one of the relatives will be there. Ironically, - he looked at Jimin pointedly, - my two elder brothers will be there - both just perfect sons and heirs. They will be with their respective wives - also perfect specimen that my parents adore and that brought more into this family because of their families' money. And there will be me, just a simple person with regular needs and no big ambitions, happily divorced and expected to bring a plus one.
What am I going to do? - Yoongi was about to panic when he heard Jimin saying:
- I'll go with you! Yoongi chuckled.
Then thought about it for a bit.
- I might as well, - he hummed, - I've really gone past caring about all the pretenses. I'm going to have to find my suit tonight. - He rubbed his thighs that were stiff from today's walking. - The gathering starts tomorrow at noon. Of course, it's a short notice. Nothing unusual, - he grumbled.
Yoongi was about to leave to prepare his clothes for tomorrow when Jimin added:
- Why don't you wear a hanbok? Choose your nicest one, preferably black and gold, of you have it (no surprises here, judging by the design of the envelope). Go there on your own and wait for me there. I promise, my entrance will overrun all the possible fairytales! Yoongi was smiling wide, feeling more at ease.
- Somehow I believe you, Jimin. Let's do that.
➳
The next morning went as it usually does.
Mingi, dressed in his new jeans and a denim bomber was putting on his sneakers while his dad was packing the change of clothes for the kindergarten. When it was time to part ways his son kissed him on the cheek and wished him a very good day.
- I'm sure it will be now, - he answered.
He needed to get ready for the show. He gave himself a thorough look in the mirror and deciddd he looked presentable enough for the occasion.
Anyone looks good in their national clothes, Yoongi was certain of it.
- Jimin? - Yoongi asked at the door. He heard rustling in his guest bedroom and then a melodious voice answered:
- Go ahead and wait for me there. You have nothing to worry about. Don't think about them and try to have fun regardless!
- Thank you Jimin, - the man was out of the door the next moment. The ride to the countryside was long but Yoongi thought it ended too soon.
His parents' mansion was sticking like a sore thumb among the empty land and some hanoks scattered in the distance.
No matter how many times he visited here he felt intimidated. Straightening the fabric of his hanbok he pressed the code and waited for the gate to be opened.
He noticed security guards doing their rounds on the property.
The walk to the front door took a while but he wasn't in any rush. He was greeted by the maid in crispy pristine uniform and led to the dining hall.
There weren't many guests yet but his parents were already there, smiling and greeting everyone. He took a deep breath and tried to detach himself from his surroundings.
He was planning to be polite but wasn't going to go out of his way to make pleasantries.
He answered all the usual questions and greeted his parents, trying not to look to long them in the face. He was numb while listening to their usual rants and tolerated the assessment of his choice of outfit.
- Before you say anything, my plus one is coming over later. He needed some more time to get ready. He could almost feel Zeus' thunderbolts aiming at his head when his parents realized his date was going to be a man.
But they could hardly say anything against it, not after his halmeoni tied a knot with a famous female trot singer just half a year ago. "Thank you, nana", he kept repeating this more and more often in his head.
The party was in full swing when suddenly there was noise akin to thunder outside.
He slowly walked up to the windows and saw a black shiny hammer pulling up on the driveway. A young man with his hair blond and body lean stepped out of the car.
He was wearing black and gold hanbok as well as Yoongi but the ornaments were different.
The glint of his jewellery could be seen from afar. Is this for me, he thought.
His legs moved on their own accord, rushing to meet the beautiful man downstairs.
He was a bit out of breath when he finally was face to face with elegance personified.
- Jimin? - he whispered questioningly. - That would be me, Yoongi! Let's meet those parents of yours, - he gracefully let him take his small delicate hand and they walked inside.
Yoongi was struggling to remember how to move and act socially adequate.
Jimin was undoubtedly the star of the night. Everyone wanted to talk to him, to get close and just look at him.
Jimin charmed most of his relatives in a matter of an hour.
He seemed to have knowledge in any area, talking freely with his uncles from business circles and his aunties in medical fields. He easily chatted with university students and complimented and was polite to the staff.
Even his parents had nothing to complain about and that was something. At some point he was watching Jimin telling something to one of his brother's wife when he heard his mother say:
- You at least did something right, I'm very pleased. Evidently you walked the long roads to persuade this fine man to come here with you. Jimin turned to their direction right that instant.
- It seems it's getting late already so we are going to take our leave. I still want to spend some alone time with this gentleman here. - Anyone would so how lucky am I! - Jimin put his hand around Yoongi's waist, - Anyone who thinks otherwise is just a fool, in my opinion.
His eyes bore into his mother and he hugged Yoongi tightly, before giving the audience a final twirl and they were on their way out. Yoongi would have given a lot to see everyone's gobsmacked expressions but when he got in the car with Jimin with the heat blasting, soft music playing he couldn't care less about them lot.
All he wanted to do is to rush home to let the babysitter go and hug his son goodnight. And maybe talk to Jimin some more. After closing the kid's bedroom door he walked into the lounge and saw the young man sitting next to the window, looking outside.
He sat next to him and noticed his stricken expression.
- Is something the matter? Jimin sighed and explained:
- You see, the very first Frog Tsarina went to a ball too. And she performed magic and did various wonders there. I, on the other hand, didn't do much. - Oh but you did! - Yoongi argued, - You did wonders for me. And the way you stood up for me in front of my mother - that's some magic I've seen there. Don't underestimate yourself.
Jimin lifted his face and looked into the man's eyes.
- Truly? - Truly so! Not all bigger things mean they're good. And the beauty of small gestures will always beat that of grand ones, - Yoongi told him passionately, - Or was it one of the terms for breaking the curse?
Jimin looked surprised now.
- The curse? - Y-you, know, that your father... - Yoongi stammered.
Jimin then burst into a fit of giggles and started waving his hands around. - Oh, no, no, Yoongi! That was the first daughter, my eldest sister! And it was eons ago! Our father has forgiven her a long time ago, he had time to cool down. He's an immortal warlock, after all! - He smoothed the fabric of his gorgeous hanbok. - It's more of a tradition now but it isn't necessary. And I have a great relationship with my dad, look, he sent me this just this morning! He loves that skiing resort! Yoongi looked at the screen of a branded phone Jimin was showing him and certainly, there was an old respectable gentleman, wearing an Olympic type of tracksuit, looking like an ordinary modern businessman on a holiday.
Hence the crown and...
- Is that?.. Jimin leaned closer and whispered conspicuously:
- He loves mermaids, let a man live.
And proceeded laughing.
The man could hardly wrap his head around all this fairytale folk.
But thinking about it, among all wonders of the century, they fit well. Then a thought hit him.
If he was to know Jimin better maybe they would fit well too?
- What's on your mind? - the man in question was still looking at him, lips curved and eyes serene.
- I was thinking that we should talk like this more often. What do you think? The other hummed and his smile grew wider.
- I'd love that. But how much talking before I get that kiss?
Next moment Yoongi took his delicate hands into his and pressed a chaste kiss onto full rosy lips. The young man looked very delighted and Yoongi's heart jolted in his chest.
- So...
- So?..
- How long til I can tell my father we're coming over to meet him?
Yoongi chuckled and gave him another kiss.
- What have I gotten myself into?

Look, Nemo still didn't want to be here.
But he'd really done a fantastica job ducking, dodging, and weaving his way around the topic of Hatter for whole moons now and he'd just-- finally hit the dead end of it all. There was no avoiding it. Appa was still dating...David Hatter. Appa would go on and on and on about David this and David that. The worst part? He could see how all his dodging made Appa lower his head and speak in a quieter voice.
There was this horrible nasty part of Nemo who wanted Appa to just break up with David already--
But a much bigger part of him hated seeing Appa frown. He just had to get over himself, yeah? Enough was enough.
So, finally, Nemo had blurted out-- "We can meet. I mean. If you want to still. We can have dinner or whatever."
And here they were.
Nemo tried to ignore the uncomfortable twisting in his stomach as they finally arrived at Hatter's place. "Oh uh-- nah, I'm still finishing this," said Nemo, shaking his mostly finished boba. "And then I should have water or something, probably."
He offered Marlin a smile and then they climbed up the stairs. Then, the door opened.
Quickly, Nemo ducked his head as he greeted David Hatter. "Hey, thank you for inviting me, Mr. Hatter."

Emotionally Intoxicated
Summary: Your husband was the image of a perfect working man and father, what would happen when you discover he is not what you expected?
Parings: The Salesman x F!Reader
Word Count: 4.1k
Warnings: Manipulation and lying. A short smut scene, oral (f receiving), fingering and missionary. ALSO I did keep one of the character that died alive. So yeah.
A/N: I know the smut scene is kinda out of place, but Gong Yoo makes me feel some type of wayyyy. Also I use the salesman actor name because I don't recall them giving him a name...ANYWAYS enjoy!
“Hey baby, how was work?” You asked your husband as you continued to chop the vegetables. He approached the kitchen island and gave you a kiss on the cheek then turned to look at what was boiling on the stove. “Work was alright. Boring as usual” he never gave many details of what he actually would do during his work. You knew he was a salesman, but what he was trying to sell to people was a mystery to you. Your friends tried to point out how much of a red flag that was, but stupidly you ignored him. Your love and attachment towards him blinded you from accepting the issues with his secrecy.
“What are you cooking?’ He asked, as he began to sir the boiling pot himself. “Smells good, as always.” He turned to smile towards you. You were going to respond but then you remembered something. “Oh, right. Um, two guys came at the door this morning asking for you. One had red hair, the other said he was a businessman. Their names slipped my tongue, but they told me to let you know that they want to speak with you.” You stopped cutting the vegetables to grab another frying pan from the cabinets. Your back was facing him, so you couldn’t see how his expression dropped at your words. His work never interfered with his personal life, ever. He always made sure of it. Not even his boss knows about you or the kids. “They came here?” his voice almost came out in disbelief; how did they even know where you guys lived? “Yeah, even left a fruit basket for the kids. I put it on the table.” You said, finally standing up and heading to grab the oil to add to the frying pan. Gong Yoo headed to the dining room and grabbed the fruit basket aggressively off the dining table. There was a small card, no bigger than a business card with a number on it. He took the card but grabbed the fruits and dumped them into the trash.
“Gong-Yoo what..why? That was for the kids, Iseul was excited to eat it!” You were a little shocked by his behaviour. Fruits are expensive in South Korea, in contrast to your homeland. Not only that but he wasted perfectly good fresh food. And Iseul your oldest child had been begging you non-stop if she could have a bit for dessert.
“I can buy my wife and children their own fruit baskets. I don’t need some guy doing my job.” Legitimately he didn’t care about the fruit basket, he never got seriously jealous because he knew you’d never even think about another man. He just couldn’t say ‘hey honey, two guys who survived from my bosses battle royal came back for revenge so I’m not sure whether or not the fruits are poisoned or something.’ Letting you know too much would put you in danger. So going the jealousy route was best bet for him.
“Oh, come on babe. It was just a kind jester.” You stated as you began seasoning the vegetables. Gong Yoo left out an overexaggerated sigh, “Well I’m going to go check on the kids” giving your ass a swat on his way out.
“Aera is napping don’t disturb her peace.” You groaned in annoyance. You were instantly reminded by the fact that you had to basically battle that 5-month-old to go to sleep somewhere that wasn’t your body.
He creeped up the stairs, looking for the four-year-old and three-year-old. He missed them dearly considering it’s round up season (in which he needs to round up players for the games to begin) he hasn’t seen them as much, as he liked too. “Iseul, Minguk, Appa is home.” He toned down his voice not to awaken the sleeping demon. But it was a mistake because the two toddlers came down running his direction with burst of happiness. Charging towards his direction to give their father a hug. “Oh, I’ve missed you guys so much.” He said while his children suffocated him with their affection. Minguk gave his father a kiss on the cheek, meanwhile Iseul ran back into her bedroom.
“Have you been treating your mother well?” He asked playfully. Minguk was the least troublesome of the three, but he had attachment issues like no other, so he was consistently around you. Unless his older sister wanted to play.
Before Minguk could answer his sister came running back “Appa! Appa! Look! Look!” She handed over him her new toy.
“WHAT THE FUCK!” Gong Yoo didn’t mean to yell, but it slipped out. It was a gun, but one that looked awfully like the one that Gi-Hun had pointed at him when they first came in contact. Minguk covered his ears at his fathers cursing, and Iseul looked at him with shame and disappointment. “No bad words!” She scolded him, and her brother nodded furiously in agreement. “I’m telling Eomma.” She began to walk off angrily but Gong Yoo grabbed her tiny body in one swift movement. “Hey monkey, where did you get this?”
“A friend.” She said so simply.
“Which friend?” He asked
“Ummm.” She thought about it for a moment. “From the park. Appa after dinner can we-can we play” He knew he wasn’t going to get any direct answers from a four-year-old. So he’d have to figure shit out himself. “Yeah, we can, just don’t tell Eomma.” He pinched her nose which made her giggle.
“Dinner is ready.” Your soft voice caught him off guard, he didn’t even realize you had come up the stairs. “Yay.” Minguk said before he started running. “MinMin baby, stop running. You’ll hurt yourself.” You turned to look at Iseul, then you saw it. “Why is there a gun?” you went to pick up what you assumed was a toy gun. “Jesus Gong Yoo, you always give the kids the weirdest gifts.” You opened your bedroom door and tossed, the gun into it, then closed the door behind yourself and started walking downstairs with Minguk.
The dinner was oddly talkative yet quiet. The kids babbled about literally anything, normally both you and your husband would be fully engaged in their conversations to help their development, but suspiciously he was pretty quiet. There was a lot of “mmhmm..nice..wow..cool.” rather than actual dialog, while it might have not been clear to the kids. It was clear to you, that he was not paying attention. Eventually the two oldest finished up and you suggested them to go out and play in the backyard. The two of you grabbed your own plates and went to go and sit on the patio table and eat outside while watching the kids play.
“You okay?” You asked, placing a hand on his thigh allowing your thumb to circle his thigh
“Yeah, just drained from work. Um how’s it going with you and your friends.” He quickly changed the subject before you could ask any further.
“Not good. Cho Hee’s husband, you know him, right? Well, he came to us today while we were at the park with the kids. Saying his wife went missing, apparently, she went to play a game or something. I don’t know the whole story is weird.” You felt uncomfortable with the idea that your friend was missing, you wanted to help but Cho Hee’s husband’s story made no sense.
“Oh, I mean it’s unfortunate his wife is missing. But you know Kyong is an unreliable narrator.” He lied. It’s only been maybe an hour or so but the two worlds he specifically never wanted to collide. Were essentially smashing together all at once.
“What do you mean?” You asked.
“Well..you know…He’s a heavy drug user. His mind is all over the place.” Now Kyong did do drugs, but all he did was smoke some marijuana in his free time. Your husband made it sound like he was an avid crack user.
You looked at him in shock. “Holy shi- wait is this true? He seemed completely normal to me; how did you know?” You were now concerned because his erratic behaviour would make a lot more sense. Asides from his wife being missing, allegedly.
“Functioning addicts seem normal, but it doesn’t take much to crack them. I’m sure his wife is fine, or probably tried to escape him who knows.” He took a swing of his soju bottle and glanced over at you to see your reaction. He was taken back a bit by your worrisome reaction. It was his turn to comfort you, he placed a hand on your shoulder. “Hey, I’m sure everything is going to be okay.”
“I really hope so.”
***
Your kids currently were with your mother-in-law. Today was your day alone, and you usually did it to go on your runs, workout, and complete your hobbies.
You went out on your morning jog, going around the neighbourhood as you normally did. You went around and did over 5 laps, it was on your 6th lap that when you felt an arm pull you towards the forest near your neighbourhood. You began to kick and scream, begging for someone to help you. Your attacker covered your mouth and pleaded with you to stay quiet. He sounded so empathetic, and incredibly guilty. “Please, please just listen to me.” You continued to attempt to break yourself free from your grip. “I won’t hurt you; I just need to talk.” Hearing his voice again made you recognize it instantly. He was the businessman who came to your door. You stopped fighting not because you believed him. But rather you wanted to catch him off guard. When you stopped screaming and your breathing paced back to normal, he let go of you and you waited 30 seconds before kicking him in the balls and started sprinting. You made it far enough, but surely, before you were able to get out of the forest, he made it in time to drag you back in.
“Please Ma’am we just need to talk, that’s all I want to do. I don’t have much time currently. I swear on my life I won’t hurt you.” His grip being tight around you, was making it hard to believe he didn’t mean any harm. Considering you probably got bruises just from the altercation 30 seconds earlier. He didn’t wait for you to respond. “Your husband, he can’t be trusted.”
“And I’m supposed to trust the man who is strangling me? You’re insane.”
“I have evidence, it’s not much. But it’s enough to show you at the very least he’s not trustworthy.” He huffed out the last part.
“Let me guess, you are one of his associates he may or may not have screwed over financially and now you’re coming for revenge. Whatever money you loss, I’ll pay it back. Just please let this go, let me go.” You were growing tired of battling and attempting to escape his grip.
“No amount of money can fix the amount of blood loosed on his hands. While he might not be the direct cause, he’s still complicit. Hundreds of people are dying every year because of him and his people. You are the one closest to him, help me stop them.” He was pleading with you, and you could tell that he was believing his own words. You were baffled by the sheer stupidity coming out of his mouth.
“You are fucking sick in the head. You know that? You’re saying that my husband is indirectly the cause of hundreds of people’s death annually. T-That’s not fucking possible.” Your denial was in full force, and understandably so.
The businessman pulled out a thumb drive and handed it over to you. “My name is Cho Sang-Woo, if you wish to stop this, contact the number on the drive.” He let go of you and he began walking too wherever.
You immediately got up and started sprinting to your house. You turned your head every few seconds to make sure he wasn’t following you back to your house. You immediately got inside and turned on all the alarm systems. And made sure all the doors were locked, and curtains pulled shut. You ran up to your room with a baseball bat and sat on your bed. You grabbed out your phone and dialed out your husband’s phone number. You knew he was at work, so you tried to not disturb him while he worked, but you desperately needed him.
He didn’t pick up on the first call, so you sent a text to your mother-in-law asking if it would be possible to let your kids stay over for the weekend. After you sent the text message, you immediately got a call back.
Before he could speak you immediately started to talk. “Baby I need you to come back home, like right away. Some asshole tried to grab me when I went on a jog and…and then he- shit.” You couldn’t even speak coherently because the whole situation felt unreal. How do you even tell him what Sang-Woo is accusing him of the murder of an insane amount people. Even if the story felt like bullshit to you, you couldn’t even comprehend how you’d explain it to him.
“He did what? What the fuck did he do to you.” His voice was harsh, but it filled with concern.
“He-…Are you in a train station?” The noise of a passing train took you by surprise. It made no sense for him to be in a train station at this time of day.
“Sweetheart, answer my question, what happened?” He asked again, but this time more calmer.
“He dragged me into the forest near our home. Saying things like I can’t trust you, and that y-you’re complicit in the murders of hundreds of people annually. Just some crazy shit.” Your voice was all over the place, trying to recount what happened.
You heard him curse, then his end went quiet for a minute. “A-and then he just let you go, after spewing lies?” You looked over to the thumb drive, and then closed your eyes for 3 seconds. “Y-yeah. He wanted me to know the ‘truth’ about you.” Something inside of you was telling you not to mention the thumb drive. Your inner thoughts were screaming at you not to say it.
“I’m coming home, I’m an hour or so away. Don’t answer the door for nobody, understood.”
“Yes.”
“Love you baby.” He breathed out hopelessly.
“More than anything.” You responded.
When the phone line went dark. You immediately went to go and grab your MacBook and plugged in the thumb drive. A few files, filed with pictures of your husband, his alleged boss, and a bunch of people who went missing, torturous games. The one photo that stood was your husband slapping a woman, in the next photo it was clearer who the woman was, Cho Hee. She was wearing the same outfit on the last day she was scene. Another photo was Cho Hee dead, captioned on the bottom “Cause of death: Tug of war.” You couldn’t continue looking through the photos, it was far too scary for you to handle. Your denial was kicking in again, and you absolutely refused to believe the man you married, the father of your children, was capable of working for someone like that.
***
When Gong Yoo came home he was feeling incredibly anxious, he normally knew how to handle situations, he always found a way. But now he had no clue how he was going to handle this, he needed to distract you one way or another.
He opened the door and disarmed the alarm. He closed the door slowly not wanting to bring himself to acknowledge his presence in the house. The house was dark with all the curtains shut, and the lights off. He turned on the lights and announced his presences to you. “Baby I’m home.” His voice came without confidence.
You walk down the stairs incredibly slowly, not intentionally, but the previous mental breakdown you had was enough for you to walk down the stairs slightly menacingly.
“Oh look, the pathological liar is home.” You said so expressionlessly. “Wonder what he’s going to lie about next?” By the time you were able to arrive to the bottom of the stairs you could see his hopeless facial expression. “Baby it’s-“
“What? It’s not what I think? Were you really going to pull that lame ass excuse? Seriously? The audacity that you must seriously think I’m going to believe that, not when I have proof.” Even though you appeared to be mad, you were mostly hurt. You couldn’t believe that you were being lied too.
“Proof can be doctored.” He began to walk closer to you, expecting for you to back away from him but you didn’t because the unfortunate pathetic thing about you, you were willing to forgive him. You did not want to believe that your husband was working for the devil himself, a man who would put poor people through hell and back for his own sick entertainment, have hundreds of people die. For his own satisfaction, you couldn’t bear to imagine your husband being okay with any of that.
Ignoring his statement you continued, “You knew about Cho, you saw her before she diapered. You made out her husband to be fucking crazy, tainted another man image you save your own…why Gong Yoo..why the fuck would you do that.” He was quiet for a bit, so you pulled out your phone you’d transfer some of the pictures to your phone and showed him the picture of him and Cho.
“S-So a picture of her and I at the train station is evidence of me having anything to do with her disappearance?” He figured that if he could drag out the situation and over state the obvious, it might make you rethink your intelligence, which he hated doing. However, he could not let you find out the truth, the separation between both worlds were necessary for the protection of his family.
‘You have a car, why would you be at a train station? And in another picture, you were slapping her. Shit doesn’t add up.” You responded back aggressively.
“My car can’t get me everywhere on time, I drive it to the train station, but it’s quicker and more time efficient to leave in parked in the parking lot and go catch a train. And I slapped her because she was talking shit about you, I didn’t tell you that because I know how much that so called friendship means to you. You had a hard time adjusting to living here, and you finally seemed happy.” He was weaving truths with lies. Of course, he didn’t slap Cho Hee because she was talking shit, it was because she kept losing to the game. However, he did over here Cho Hee spoke tremendously terribly about you on several different occasions, to him she was a jealous fake bitch. It’s why he had absolutely no problem recruiting her to the game.
“If you knew she was fake, why not fucking tell me?” You knew realistically you shouldn’t be believing his words, but love was blinding you, as it normally did. “And you’re always so mysterious about your job…baby I don’t know what to believe.” You plopped yourself onto a step putting your hands in your face. Gong Yoo immediately took the opportunity to go and sit beside you and place his arms around you pulling you into his chest “I know that this situation is fucked up, but I need you baby, I need you to just trust me. Okay? I love you so much, and we are a team, and as a team we need to trust each other, okay?’ His charisma was working in full effect, and you fell for his words. Before he could finish his sentence, you planted a kiss on his lips. You just wanted to block out the world and all the bullshit going on, whether he is lying, or telling the truth. You just wanted to feel this moment, you wanted to feel like you did when you first met him, when things were simpler. And while you could never go back to a time like that, you could pretend, just for a moment.
He accepted the kiss and began to slowly make out with you. Instead of the rough passion that you were normally accustomed too, instead there was a sense of sadness and grief. An acknowledgment that the relationship will never return to what it once was. Your hand began to travel downwards, and he knew exactly what it meant. “Upstairs” he mumbled.
When the two of you arrive upstairs, you drop yourself on the bed and he climbed on top of the bed. Lifting your shirt off Gong Yoo waisted no time removing his own, then unbuckling his pants. You removed your own pants, and immediately he slipped his fingers into your pussy.
He watched as you accepted each wave of pleasure as he thrusted his fingers at a sensual pace, you small moans escaping your mouth gave him a sense of peace. He twirled his fingers causing your wetness to spill out as he fingered you. He brought his mouth onto your clit and began to lick it slowly, occasionally allowing himself to suck on your clit. ‘You taste just as sweet as you always do.” He complimented.
You were suffocating by the waves of pleasure hitting you, making it hard to focus on proper breathing. “Gong Yoo I need your dick, please.” You couldn’t even keep your eyes open to look down at him.
He gives your ass a light slap, and you became aware of your mistake. “Oppa, please. I fucking need you inside of me.” You begged. He brought his fingers out of you and pulled his harden dick out of his boxers. He slicks his finger with your wetness and placed it on his dick. Jerking himself off lightly to prep himself. Once he was ready, as much as you were. He slides his dick inside your dripping cunt. The warmth sent shivers down his spine as he adjusted to the new sensation. You guys fucked a million times over, but each time felt like the first time, and it was always amazing whether you were going quickly, or slowly.
His thrust was passionate, and he brought himself closer to you, he’d suck on the skin of your neck as you moan out mercifully. You could feel the power within each thrust as he was hitting your sweet spot, he’d transition from your neck to your mouth, and before you were about to cum you separated the kiss, “I fucking love you so much.”
Mumbled his love back to you before he felt himself spill all inside of you, he kept thrusting. Making sure that you’d still cum even after himself, and so you did. You clenched onto his body as you threw your head back.
Eventually the two of you came crashing down onto the bed. You went under the sheets as you cuddled yourself into him. Aftercare with him always felt so relaxing. He kissed your forehead and kept his arms around you. Eventually you feel asleep, and he got out of his bed.
He tried to slowly exist the bed without waking your presence, but it seems the movement of the bed disturbed you enough to give him a grumble “where are you going?” he told you he needed to go to the washroom, and it was enough for you to go back to sleep. He did walk to the washroom; however, he wasn’t going to use it.
He went into the washroom with the water bottle from the nightstand. Pouring the water in the toilet to give the illusion he went to pee. He then turned on the sink and let the water run. He pulled out his phone dialing the number that he was forbidden to call, only in the series of a legitimate issue, an issue that could threaten the game.
The phone ringing scared him a bit, he was on edge so he thought you might overhear. When the caller finally answered Gong Yoo Knew he only had to say a few words to get the message a crossed.
“Code 907. We are dealing with a strategic takedown. It needs to be dealt with immediately.” Gong Yoo stated simply.
“Understood. Who are we dealing with, and how are we handling it?”
“Seong Gi-Hun, and Cho Sang-Woo along with any accomplice of theirs. Make no exception we are currently under attack. Everything is jeopardized.”
“How are we handling it.” The person on the other side aside of the phone call ask again.
“As we normally do, death.”

Yandere Twisted Wonderland (all or dorm leaders ft grim) would react to kuudere reader brings a giant cat (like, totally big). And reader the whole time just spoiling the cat (and grim as well because he deserves love)
Lmao, thanks for dropping this in. Really appreciate the ask here hehe~ Though I may not be regularly writing because I'm a moody ass.
But if anyone would like to drop in twst requests, feel free to, hehe. Though, I would definitely take a long while to write it. Gotta be in that mood, yaknow~
My idea of this giant cat would be something like Appa from Avatar, kinda? Just a totally cute thing chilling about.
It may be OOC, as I haven't really wrote much about the other characters and about kuudere people in general, but I hope you like it!
TW: Yandere, cat abuse, violence
Kuudere MC who has a gigantic cat.
Ft. Yandere Dorm Leaders ( and Jealous Grim who is not yandere )
Riddle Rosehearts
• He had always known you as someone who doesn't really show their feelings on their sleeves. Though he understands the notion of wanting to remain professional (even if you may not intend to do so) with everybody, he somehow could feel himself yearning to get closer to you. He believes that could be achieved when you show some sort of positive emotions as you know, textbook says that when people are happy, they smile.
• Then suddenly, one day, it seems that you had picked up a cat. A...really big and prominent looking one. Even though you already had an annoying one by your side. (Cough GRIM cough)
• Riddle watches as you spoil the cat with hugs and headpats. It wasn't a pleasant feeling for him. Rather than being comforted by the view, it started to bother him deeply in his heart.
• What made Riddle's face go red in anger was when he saw the rare, slight smile you had on your face as you spoilt the big cat. He had tried to make you smile before through acts of small affection such as inviting you to the many Heartslabyul events. But, you remained mostly cool on the outside. This made him felt that it was extremely unfair that a big cat you've barely met has managed to win your smile rather than the him who has put in so much time and effort out of his busy schedules.
• This definitely ignited something in Riddle.
• This causes more stress and anxiety for Riddle. It's to the point where he would make up his own rules to keep your cat away. If the both of you are in a relationship, Riddle's rules will definitely control your life. He would make sure that the giant cat (and also possibly Grim) would not be able to resurface in front of you ever again as he imposes crazy rules to bind you to him.
Leona Kingscholar
• Actually doesn't care initially when you brought the giant cat over. Yes, it may be gigantic, but it's just a mere cat, ain't it? It can't use magic nor can it scheme. Leona simply cannot see it as an opponent.
• But, as you spend more time with the gigantic cat, spoiling it whenever it follows you around the campus, the cat starts to get on Leona's nerves. Grim was already an annoyance in the first place but you just had to add another one into the fray.
• It's even worse if Leona's naps are disturbed by the damned cat(s). Especially when they have to be joining you and Leona on the nap.
• The cat becomes a bigger threat to Leona as it takes up more of your attention. You're already so hard to reach, and this cat is increasing the distance. How annoying.
• Whenever the cat is around, Leona would make sure to threaten it behind your back by using his stare. If that fails to faze the big cat, he would definitely try to find ways(by utilizing Ruggie) to get rid of the cat when asking you to nap with him.
• Your constant fawning over the cat is merely testing Leona's patience. If he becomes extremely jealous, he might be controlled by his emotions to get rid of your cat, most likely through the use of violence, or even the possibility of killing it. Size is not a matter for him, after all, it's just a mere cat, right?
Azul Ashengrotto
• Oh My, A big cat? Now, now. Where did you pick that thing from? Azul is having a major headache upon finding it out.
• Unlike Leona, Azul immediately views the cat as a threat. It's disturbing him so badly that he feels like he is going crazy.
• As someone who is already so insecure about himself, your cold attitude towards him only makes it worse. Then, now we are adding a cat in that you are fawning over? Azul is definitely growing jealous.
• Whenever he sees you smiling and having fun with the cat, he can feel his entire body shaking with anger. It is even worse when he knows that this big cat follows you everywhere and is the one who lifts up your mood.
• He can't help but think, why not him? Why can't he take the place of that cat instead? Was he that worthless even with all his efforts to remain civil and kind towards you? After all the goodwill he has given you, this is what you repay with? Constant negative thoughts filled his head up.
• This pushes him to the extreme. He can't push out this waiting game any longer. He's not going to go slow and remain kind towards you anymore. If the cat is worth that much to you, he is going to take it hostage. And along with that, how about taking the entire Ramshackle dorm in the process too?
• Seeing as how dearly the big cat is to you, Azul will definitely formulate a plan revolving around it. The Tweels will be put into action, to possibly put your cat into a state of pain and suffering behind your back. The Tweels would also be excited as they are very interested in this creature. An enlarged cat, how fun would it be to play with it! Plus, with this, they don't have to deal with Azul's negativity and whines too. So, Little Shrimpy, they will do their best so do yield, okay~?
• As you find your cat coming back in such a bad state and panic about it, Azul would prey on this vulnerability you show by offering you a contract. Coincidentally, at this moment, he just so happens to have something that can save your dying cat. Well, all you have to do in exchange is to, you know, pay him back some favors.
Kalim Al Asim
• Wow! A big cat! Of course, Kalim would be intrigued in it.
• As Kalim tends to be on the more delusional side, he views this big cat as both you and his darling pet. He would spoil the cat with extravagant goods and make sure it has a comfortable life. He especially does this, so that he can hopefully make you smile at him.
• However, you're the same as always when dealing with him. Donning a poker face and treating him politely. Even if you don't mean it, he feels like you're treating him coldly.
• Initially, Kalim viewed this as something normal you do. In which, it is. So he does not really get worked up over it. However, he accidentally stumbled upon a scene of you and the cat being alone.
• He saw your smile directed at the cat as you spoil the cat with hugs and kisses. Because of Kalim's delusions, He sees this as the worst thing ever. No matter how slight your smile is, it is magnified in Kalim's eyes. He will view it as the brightest smile you would ever have and that brews his jealousy.
• Of course, at the same time, he feels extremely troubled by this feeling of his. He didn't know what to do with these strong and unknown new emotions. But all he knew was that, it has definitely awaken something in him.
• Kalim is not the type to scheme. But that doesn't mean that he would not take impulsive actions.
• Let's just say, maybe during a party in Scarabia, someone had "accidentally" fed your cat some chocolates or something that shouldn't be fed to cats in a place that people do not usually frequent.
• But, don't worry! If you're sad about it, Kalim would be there for you!
Vil Schoenheit
• A big cat, that's interesting. Vil would be interested in it if it was beautiful or exotic as they would probably be good as props to highlight his beauty.
• Other than that, He probably does not have much interest in the cat. Though, he would agree that having that cat around you definitely enhances your loveliness.
• Vil would most likely always be commenting on your poker face, and asking you to smile. However, no matter how hard the both of you try, your face remains stiff or just stuck in a poker face.
• Vil is extremely eager to see your smiling face as he believes that it would be beautiful.
• It was only at one point where he momentarily gives up on trying to see your smile, he catches you fawning over you big cat with a genuine happy smile on your face.
• This infuriates Vil. You would rather smile to a beast than him? You're upsetting him to no ends.
• This can push Vil to start treating you coldly for awhile as he gets enveloped by the anger, especially when the scene keeps repeating in his head.
• This could push him to create poisons that will kill the cat off, and also making sure that it does not trace back to him.
• You just had to push Vil Schoenheit to this extreme with just a smile, did you?
Idia Shroud
• The Ramshackle Dorm has a new cat? Idia is extremely excited. A new cat on the campus means more fluffy action! It's gigantic? Even better!
• Idia is probably the only one who wouldn't go to huge extremes to hurt your cat out of jealousy as he can understand the appeal of those elegant felines.
• Idia is also probably aware of how you are and will definitely call you a kuudere(behind your back and lovingly, of course).
• As he sees you spoiling the cat and Grim, the smile that you had on your face while facing them definitely made Idia feel flushed. Though, he may get a little jealous over the cats, his action in plan is probably to win the cats over so that the cats would prefer him to you.
• That said, he would probably have to buy more cat toys and treats in order to do that, would he?
• Maybe, if he's frustrated about it, the worst he could do is probably to write a few venty posts online to denounce that cat.
Malleus Draconia
• The child of man has a weird creature following behind them? Is it a threat? Malleus would first check up on the big feline following you around. He would ask you questions on it out of curiosity.
• This lonely dragon would join you with any opportunity that he gets.
• As with the others, he finds it curious on why you always kept up such an appearance towards everybody. Even though he did say he respects your reasons why. He can't help but feel a little discomfort and anger when he sees you spoiling the cat and having smiles on your face as you do so.
• It hits worse when Malleus felt as if he was being ignored by you as you face the cat.
• As he felt that your full attention wasn't on him, lightning would start to strike in the back ground.
• He feels extremely pleased (smug Malleus) when you get startled by it and stopped putting your focus into spoiling the big cat.
• Malleus would also try to get along with the cat initially, well, until he ends up extremely annoyed by even its mere presence as the cat keeps demanding for your attention.
• The fact that you would show up to your meeting with Malleus with the cat? It irritates him.
• One fine day, as Malleus decides to stop tolerating the cat, it may suddenly disappear and you would not be able to find it.
• If you questions Malleus about it, he would reply you with something along the lines of, "Well, maybe it went to find some milk and never came back?"
• Sorry, your big lovely cat's gone now. Can't help it.
Jealous Grim
• C,mon! Another cat? Doesn't this mean he has to share his tuna cans with them?
• Would probably hiss at the big cat.
• Would also not be bothered by his size because, look. This cat has been through crazy stuff. I doubt he would be scared off by just a big cat.
• Initially, didn't stop to think that YOU would give your attention to that cat instead. But as you did, Grim starts to panic and get worried. You would constantly see him with watery eyes looking over at you.
• You probably would just sigh and signal Grim to join in too, so he would receive attention from you too through rubs and hugs. <3
• When left with the big cat alone, Grim would probably try to fight with the big cat.
• Well, Ramshackle dorm would probably have some burnt marks on the floors and walls, as well as maybe some fur lying around when you came back after leaving for just a moment.

Scenario: Single dad Yeosang, Yeosang tried his best to make a life for his daughter, ever since he left her mother. Y/n is Yuna’s teacher, after talking to Yeosang about her behavior. The two don’t meet eye to eye, yeosang tries to prove to Y/n he’s a great father, and possible lover too.
The sun shined throughout the house, Yeosang was asleep he was exhausted from last night’s tattoo session. Kang Yeosang was a tattoo artist, he had tattoos himself, His right ankle had a moon tattooed in perfect smooth ink, His left arm was tattooed with a dragon, the cherry blossom on his right hand had set perfectly, while his daughter’s birthday was inked perfectly on his finger, on his left hand. The medium sized tattoo was placed on his neck. It was a heart but it held much meaning to him, every tattoo held much meaning to Yeosang. Sure he looked intimidating, he would always sit with no expression, maybe the ink on his body scared people? What if the eyebrow and tongue piercing is giving it away. Yeosang was reckless, he remembers the time he got so drunk he went and slept with a girl, she gave birth to his beautiful little Yuna. Who was now 8 years old without her mother. Yeosang was in a toxic relationship with her for awhile. She had become jealous of the bond the two carried since Yuna was born. It got bad to where she abused Yeosang, to where she hit Yuna whenever Yuna made one small mess. It got worse, to where Yeosang had hit her...only once. Because she was not letting go of Yuna who was scared and crying her heart out from the physical pain through her body. Yeosang soon moved out, taking his daughter with him and never ever going back to her again.
Yuna walked downstairs, she frowned as she put the bag beside the chair. “You don’t seem so enthusiastic?” Yeosang asked. Yuna sighed, “I wanna keep my hair down appa,” her lip quivered. Yeosang knew why, her birthmark, just like her father she had her birthmark on display. It was much more red, bigger and set on her right cheek. “You look beautiful, Yuna you are my child, and what have I always taught you?” he asked. As he adjusted her cat shape earrings. “To stand up for myself and always defend myself,” She smiled as he nodded his head and went back to cooking. Yeosang smiled as he remembers all the moments he spent with Yuna before school came along, friends, etc.
Yeosang held Yuna’s hand as he walked her into school, standing at the front desk. “Good Morning, Mr. Kang,” the front desk lady said. She never liked Yeosang, the two argued a lot, maybe more than others could count. “Good Morning to you too, I’m just here to check Yuna in, I don’t see why you guys have a desk,” he rolled his eyes. She scoffed. “Because it helps us keep up with the kids and figure out who comes in or may be missing,”. Once he checked Yuna into school, she held his hand giving it a small squeeze. “Can you walk with me? I don’t wanna show up alone, and we have a new teacher, She could be mean to me,” Yuna said. Yeosang ruffled her hand with his free hand, walking her to her class. “It doesn’t matter who she is, tell me if she’s mean, I’ll handle it,” he said as he opened the door. The class looked at Yuna and her father. Some kids finding him scary and intimidating, others judging Yuna for claiming such a man as a father. “Welcome to class, I’m Y/n,” the teacher said. She gave Yuna a small smile as she got down to her height, sticking her hand out. “Yuna,” she said as she shook the older woman’s hand.
Yuna walked to her seat, You looked up to see her father, standing up to your regular height, You took in his appearance. He was very handsome, his dyed blond hair had sat perfectly on top of his head, his tattoos, his eyebrow piercing. His gaze, all of it could make a woman fall in love in a second. “You must be the father, I’m Y/n, the new teacher,” you introduced yourself. “Kang Yeosang,” he said in a low tone. You caught sight of his tongue piercing. “Yuna gets out early today, we’re scheduling a field trip for the kids so they get to leave a bit early,”. He nodded his head, not giving an expression and walking out of the classroom. You felt a little off about Yuna being his daughter. I mean they were identical, but was she in good hands?. You didn’t wanna snoop but you couldn’t help but be a bit suspicious of the situation. “Okay class, Today we’re gonna team up and study for our written test, Hangul is important to learn,” you said as you eyed around at the kids. Yuna was a clone of Yeosang, no doubt, but something didn’t feel right.
Yeosang walked into the tattoo shop, he had dropped Yuna off at her school, Now he can come to work and relax until he’s needed. “You look like you had a bad morning,” Yunho remarked as he looked up from the tattoo he was working on. “I’m having a good morning, just a little tired, taking care of Yuna isn’t easy you know,” Yeosang said. Yunho nodded as he turned back to work on the tattoo. Yeosang walked back to his station, he felt sadness overtake him, Yuna didn’t seem to be having a good day. Yeosang tried his best to help his little one with her temper. But sometimes it became too much for him to handle. While raising Yuna, Yeosang had noticed his daughter was angry. He soon found out that she was angry for not having a mother, but he knew it wouldn’t be easy to just go fish her one out. He knew it would take time for him to even find someone special for them both, Yeosang wasn’t an easy guy and he learned not to settle for just about anyone. He learned that he had to play it smart, mainly for Yuna’s sake. “You have a client today, Something about a ankle tattoo?” San said. “Send em in,” Yeosang said, he put the cigarette down as he got everything ready.
You sat at the desk, looking over some papers as the kids chattered and worked on their Hangul in groups. The door opened to reveal someone, someone you’ve never met at the school. “Is it okay if I see you for a moment Y/n? It won’t be long,” he said. You nodded your head as you stood up. “You kids continue to work together, I’m going out to speak with someone,”. The class hummed as you walked outside of the room, closing the door behind you. “I’m the art teacher here, Park Seonghwa, I wanted to come visit you to ask you if I can pull Yuna out of the classroom? I needed to speak with her for a moment about the art project she had missed,” he said. You nodded your head and told him to give you a minute, You opened the door and noticed the kids were arguing. Yuna, Mung, Hana, and Jun. Sighing you walked over. “You can’t be mean to Mung like that, Hana!” Yuna yelled. Hana snatched the pencil from Yuna as she jabbed Yuna with it in the cheek. “You need to watch out, You tomato face,”. Before you could speak up to catch the attention of the kids fully, Yuna had jumped across, She begin to hit Hana over. Tears filling within her eyes. “Children, Quit!” you yelled out as you pulled Hana away. Yuna had glared at you. “Yuna, Principles office, now,”. She stomped away as you looked at Seonghwa. “Could you please take Hana to the nurse,”. He nodded his head.
Yeosang laughed with the client, almost done with her tattoo, the two begin to chat up a storm. “So your girlfriend does tattoo’s?” Yeosang asked as he leaned back in his chair. He grabbed the cigarette from the table side, lighting it and inhaling it. Seulgi hummed as she smiled. “She’s been doing them for awhile, but when she later was sent out to see her family, I started to miss her and wanted to get a tattoo on my ankle to surprise her,” Seulgi explained. Yeosang exhaled the smoke from his mouth before nodding his head. “That makes sense, plus on top of that you got a badass tattoo,”. Before the two could speak further, San rushed in, holding Yeosang’s phone. “Yuna got in a fight at school, they need you there,”. Seulgi frowned as she waved Yeosang off, He had told San to finish the tattoo and he walked along out of the door. He was a bit proud inside, Yuna was finally sticking up for herself, just maybe not the way he expected or wanted her to do it. Yeosang rushed to the school, he wanted to make sure she was okay in every way possible. When he arrived he walked in the office to find Yuna slouched in the chair, avoiding the burning gaze her father sent. She was aware that she would be in serious trouble for it. “Please have a seat, Mr. Kang,” The principle said. Yeosang sat in the chair beside Yuna.
“I would like to just say that I’m not aware of the full story but I do wanna say that whatever is going on personally, is effecting Yuna during school hours,” he said. “I can promise you Mr. Kim, I’m in no way putting my daughter in harm, you must have the wrong idea about me,”. You opened the door and looked at the three in the room, gently putting the bag beside Yuna. “I brought her backpack,” you said. “Could you please tell Yeosang what happened?” he said. Yeosang soon turned his head towards you. “Uhh...Well, I was brought outside the classroom by Seonghwa, he wanted to speak with me, When I came back to get Yuna for him, I found the kids arguing, I couldn’t very much hear or understand the situation well, except for the fact that Ms. Yuna here is causing fights, but her behavior wasn’t the best this morning,” you explained in full details. Kim Seokjin nodded his head as he looked over at Yeosang. “Yuna is always sad throughout her day, she’s either hitting the kids, making smart remarks, or she often avoids everyone. Last week, Yuna came to school with a bruise on her cheek, it seems to still be there, I know you must be putting her through a lot, I would hate to get anything serious involved, so fess up or your daughter gets suspended from school,” he said.
Yeosang stood up quickly, knocking the chair back, his glare on the older man and you were strong. But you looked over to see Yuna a bit shocked by her fathers sudden outburst. “You two are terrible, My daughter is perfectly fine, her home life is good and doesn’t concern you, If you think I’m just some deadbeat or uncaring father! you’re wrong! And it’s her birthmark!” he yelled as he grabbed her bag. “Suspend Yuna,” he said as he guided his 8 year old daughter out of school. You followed behind the angry man, when you made it outside, he was putting her in the car, putting her bag in. “Mr. Kang,” you said as you approached him as he was closing her car door. “What? Did you come out here to judge me?” he asked. You sighed. “Your behavior could be taking a toll on Yuna, I don’t think you’re giving a good example to her, for one, you are teaching her how to be careless in this life, which is no way to abuse her young mind,” you explained. He glared at you. “Look, Just shut the fuck up okay?!?!”. You soon felt anger take over you. “I’m telling you that the way she’s acting isn’t okay! And you know it!”. He soon pinned you against the car, the smirk plastered on his face. “You know what? I got some news for you, I’m a good father, a single good father at that, and I’m gonna prove it, one way or another,”. Yeosang snatched your phone, as he placed his number in it, he handed it back and left without giving a word. You were shocked but a little smirk showed on your face, you were up for a challenge.
Later that night, the rain fell heavily from the sky, Yuna sat at the dining table, a frown on her face as she looked down. “You haven’t touched hardly any of your food,” Yeosang said as he eyed the full bowl. She only hummed in response. “What’s gotten into you? I took you to anger management? I’ve done everything I could for an 8 year old, yet you still choose to act out, Why did you hit her Yuna?”. Yuna looked up at her father, the sight broke his heart, her small eyes, filled with tears as she wanted to give up already. “Hana made fun of me again, She was being mean to my friend, So I wanted to stop her, and she was making jokes about my face, So I hit her...I’m sorry,” she apologized. What she didn’t expect was the chuckle leaving her fathers lips. He was proud of her. “What’s funny?” Yuna asked confused. “What’s funny is that you assumed I was angry at you for sticking up for yourself. Look, I taught you to be happy with who you are, Just next time walk away from the situation,” he said. The knock at the door interrupted the father and daughter moment. Yeosang stood up, opening the door and soon seen you. You held the umbrella tightly as you smiled. “Mr. Kang, I’m sorry to be showing at this hour, but I brought some work for Yuna to do,” you said. He slowly took the papers from your head before opening the door wider. “Come in, It’s cold out there,” he said. You shook your head. “I’m fine, I’m gonna be going home,” you said. He shrugged and grabbed your wrist, gently guiding you inside. He closed the door.
“It’s cold, you should lay low here for a bit until the rain decides to stop, would you like to have some Ramen?” he asked. You nodded your head and followed him to the dining room, you had to admit. His place was very nice, much nicer than you thought. It was clean too and it smelt pretty decent. “Yuna, Your new teacher’s here to give you some work and have Ramen with us,” Yeosang said. You sat at the table, bowing your head slightly to the little girl. “I’m sorry about earlier,” Yuna apologized. She had bowed her head as she finished the broth in her Ramen. “You hardly ate anything, you just sat and drank the broth, You need to fill up your stomach princess,” Yeosang said as he kissed Yuna’s forehead. She whined. “But I don’t feel like eating a lot appa,”. He chuckled. “Alright, Well go change into your pajamas, Brush your teeth, brush your hair really good, and lay down, you might not be going to school for awhile but you still have a bedtime little lady,” he said. She nodded her head before waving bye at the two adults, making her way upstairs. Yeosang sighed as he placed a full bowl of Ramen in front of you. “I’m sorry about Yuna’s behavior at school lately, but you have to understand, Yuna is just a small girl, she’s growing up without a mom, as her dad I try to learn things so I can teach her but please next time, Instead of making me wanna punch that stupid Seokjin in the face, Just agree with me,” he said. You chuckled as you ate the ramen.
You two had talked for a bit of time, you got to learn a few things about Yuna and her father. Even though you recently met a lot of people today, you found a lot of interest in the family. “If you don’t mind me asking, where is Yuna’s mother?” you asked. Yeosang shrugged as he sipped his Soju. “I left her a long time ago when Yuna was a newborn still, she was toxic, we weren’t working out and a lot of bad things were happening,” he explained. You only frowned. “What do you do for a living?” you asked. “I’m a tattoo artist, I was an irresponsible idiot who thought the world revolved around me, soon I fell in love, had Yuna, moved away, raised her alone, and it built me into the man I am today,”. Soon the small girl had came downstairs, walking towards her dad with a frown. “Appa, I’m not feeling well,” Yuna whined. He put the Soju on the table as he picked up Yuna, putting her on the counter and checking her forehead. “Running a fever, Get the medicine out of the cupboard for me,”. You did as he said and walked over. “I’m not taking it!” she whined louder. Yeosang frowned. “Guess you won’t be a pretty and strong princess when you grow up,” he said. She finally took the red colored liquid, she whined as she begin to cling to you. “I’m tired,” she said. You sighed. “Yuna, You must get rest, when you rest and take your medicine, you’ll wake up and feel better, I promise,” you said. She soon drifted to sleep. Yeosang thanked you and took her from your arms.
He put her to bed, she gently opened her eyes. “Appa, Where is Eomma?” she asked. He stopped his sudden movements and frowned. “She’s somewhere else, probably off living her life Yuna, but don’t worry cause you have me okay?” he said. “Can I sleep in the bed with you?” Yuna asked. He nodded his head. “Of course, just as soon as your teacher leaves, I’ll be back up here,”. He kissed her forehead as he walked downstairs. You smiled a little. “It was really nice being in your home Mr. Kang, Really but I have to go, just be sure Yuna does her work and you don’t let her slack off,” you said. He rolled his eyes. “Call me Yeosang. And stop doubting me, Yuna is in great hands, I can assure you of that, but I have a lot of things to do tomorrow, can you come by tomorrow to help Yuna with her work?” he asked. “I have to teach tomorrow, Will tomorrow night be fine?” you asked. He agreed and you thanked him, walking outside of his place. You felt good and you couldn’t wait to see where things were going.
The next day was like any other day, you taught your class, picked up some food, chatted with some people for a bit. And finally night fell, the night you would be helping Yuna with her work. You knocked on the door waiting for the answer, when the door opened, you found Yuna. “Where’s your father?” you asked. She smiled. “He’s getting dressed in the room! And you were right Y/n! My fever is gone, thank you so much!” she hugged you. You hugged a bit as you entered the home. Once the door closed, Yeosang came out, he wore a black shirt with a black leather jacket. His ripped jeans and shoes going along with the jewelry and ink that fit his body. And his mullet to top it off. “I’ll be heading out, Keep watch on her, she’s a bit sneaky but she gets it from me,” he winked. Yeosang kissed her forehead and ruffled your hair before he left the house. You sat down on the couch beside Yuna who had no interest in her work at all. “You have a lovely home Yuna, I forgot to tell you that,” you spoke as you tried to start conversation. “Thank you! My appa’s done a lot, I told him a small home would be fine, but Appa said I deserved the best in life, He even came home hurt...I think he said it was some money situation,” she frowned during her explanation. You sighed trying your best to take her mind off of it.
You grabbed the stack of papers and put them on the coffee table in front of you. “Let’s start working shall we,” you said. You both begin to work, Yuna had struggled a bit along the way but you were wiling to help her through a lot. Time had passed and you worked with her, even taking small snack breaks, playing around with her. You found yourself doing a lot to entertain the child that was with you. Still wondering where her father had to be off to.
Yeosang though, he was at the bar, not to drink his life away, but because he was invited to celebrate Hongjoong’s birthday with him. Seonghwa took a sip as the men all sat in a booth. “Can’t believe you’re so old now,” Jongho joked as Hongjoong sent a glare. “I’m just stressed out, the kids have my back in a lot of pain, thankfully Y/n was there to help,” Seonghwa said. Yeosang chuckled at the thought of you working with kids. Now this is something that Yeosang didn’t very much understand. You were like a drug, he could never stop thinking about you. No matter how hard he tried. You always managed to come up in his mind. “Let’s just celebrate the night away,” Mingi suggested. And that they did, the guys found themselves getting a little too drunk. They danced and sang a bit, Yeosang though, Yeosang stayed sober. He would’ve gotten drunk out of his mind but he wanted to be sober for Yuna’s sake, she deserved a healthy and well minded father. As hours upon hours passed, Yeosang sent his friends home, one by one before finally retreating home himself. “Damn, 1:20 AM?” he said as he checked the time. He made it home and opened the door gently. Only to find Yuna asleep on the couch, you cleaned the mess around the living area. “Welcome home, Yeosang, Yuna did most of her lessons, I thought it would be okay if she was practically knocked out,” you said. He nodded his head with a tired smile. “Thank you, Could you continue to help her? I’ll start paying you,” he said. You shook your head. “Keep the money, I do this because I love Yuna,”. Without another word, you grabbed your belongings and walked out of the door.
1 Week passed
You continued to help Yuna work on her papers, teaching her, every night you would go over and help her. Sometimes Yeosang there to help her too. You guys would have snack breaks, play together, and often go on outings to reward Yuna for her hard work. Yeosang sometimes coming home too tired, he looked drained. He had many appointments to handle at the tattoo shop. He was like a ghost.
2 Weeks passed
You grew closer to Yeosang and Yuna, hanging out with them. You would often take Yuna to play at the park, you liked to call it a teaching lesson but Yeosang was aware you tagged along because you wanted.
3 Weeks passed
Yuna was finally able to come back to school. But she never did. It left you confused. Yuna hadn’t been sick the last few weeks you’ve spent with her. You were mainly concerned about Yeosang. You heard from Seonghwa he was coming home drunk now, he wasn’t making much time for Yuna, enough time for Yuna to be exact. It got bad to where Yeosang hardly showed up to work.
4 Weeks passed
You still hadn’t seen Yuna, so much that you wanted to run over to her place, ask her if her father was okay. But you didn’t want to disturb in case they are taking time alone.
{Current Week}
You had enough, it was now a new week and no sign of the father or daughter you adored. You had rushed over to their place as soon as you got done with your teaching of the day. You knocked on the door, but no response, you knocked and knocked. Again and Again. The stress, worry, all of it was eating you up inside. What could be going on that Yeosang and Yuna ghosted you so much. 3 Hours passed, still no sign. You refused to leave though, you knocked again and finally the door open. Only to reveal a weak and pale Yeosang. “Oh my god! Yeosang,” you said. Without any thought, you hugged him tightly. The tears threatening to fall down your face. He frowned. “You shouldn’t be here, Yuna’s sick,” he coughed. You looked at him. “You’re both sick?” you asked. He nodded his head, as he was going to speak, he was interrupted, hearing a sudden. “APPA” throughout the house. Yeosang weakly and slowly made his way upstairs with you following in toll, he walked in the room and there on her bed was Yuna. “Appa, I threw up again,” she said. “Alright, just relax, I can give you a bath and you can-”. Without another word, Yeosang collapsed, sending him down. “Yeosang!”.
.........
Yeosang opened his eyes, his vision coming into focus, he had suddenly remember what happened, without another thought he raised up. Only to find Yuna asleep beside him. The bedroom door opened and you walked in, a wet cloth in your hand. “Someone’s awake, how are you feeling?” you asked placing it on his forehead. “A bit weak, sick, tired, I mean what else am I supposed to do? What can I say? I’m a weak kinda guy,” he joked earning a small laugh from your lips. “I wouldn’t say weak, just an over worker, And a good father,” you said. He suddenly stopped and looked at you, you stopped your movements as he gripped your wrist. “What did you say?” He said a bit shocked. “I said you were a good father?. I’m sorry that I judged you too quickly, I based you off of your tattoos and piercings, your clothes, your tone, your car, your motorcycle, I judged you so much that I realized recently, You truly are a great father, You deserve to be happy,” you said. Without another thought, Yeosang had pulled you into a tight kiss. Your body relaxing under his soft lips as you fell deeper into the kiss with him. He had pulled away, his heart racing but his mind was relaxing. It was you he was kissing, he had no complaints since it felt so....right.
“I should go,” you said checking the time from the dark blush on your face. “I did enjoy the kiss a lot though,” you said. He smirked. “So I proved to you I was a good father, what about a lover?” he said. You chuckled. “You never proved that, guess we’ll have to see another time, just take care of Yuna and take care of yourself, I’ll see you guys some other time,” you said walking out of the house. He sighed and leaned back into his soft bed. A proud smile crept on Yuna’s hidden face. So her plan worked after all.

traitor. (sokka x f!reader) pt 14
part 1 | part 13 | part 15
A/N: Just a warning, if you all hop in my asks saying Y/N x Katara Rights!! i’ll cut you :) so this chapter is kind of a filler and was so hard to write?? but it’s needed because of literally one part and you’ll know what it is when you read it. Also, Katara and Y/N separately have One Brain Cell that serves as impulse control but when they’re together they cancel out and they would rather die than think.
Y/N couldn’t sleep that night. They had all decided to turn in early since Sokka wanted them up at the crack of dawn, but Y/N couldn’t stop tossing and turning, thinking about the little village on the water down below them that was suffering so much. Suffering because of her nation. Their nation. Katara was right, she felt cold and heartless doing nothing, but Y/N wasn’t sure of what she even could do for them.
Seeing the rundown fishing village was the worst part of their journey so far. Y/N had never imagined in her wildest dreams that there were Fire Nation citizens living in such poverty. At home, in Capital City, a pretty picture was painted of all the towns in their nation, even towns like this one, where steel mills were built to provide their armies with weapons; actually, especially these towns.
“Look at this place. We have to do something!” Katara said as soon as they stepped onto one of the docks.
Sokka stopped in his tracks. “Uh no, we can’t waste our time here. We have a bigger mission we need to focus on. These people are on their own.” He waved his hands, signifying the end of the discussion.
However, Katara was just getting started. Aang and Y/N shared an uncomfy look as the two Water Tribe siblings began arguing. “These people are starving, but you’d turn your back on them? How could you be so cold and heartless?”
“I’m not turning my back!” Sokka said defensively. “I’m just being realistic. We can’t go around helping every rinky-dink town we wander into. We’ll be helping them all by taking out the Fire Lord.”
“Hey, Loudmouth!” Toph smacked a hand over Sokka’s lips. “Maybe we should be a little quieter when we talk about ‘taking out the Fire Lord’.”
“Katara, be reasonable about this,” Sokka said quietly. “Y/N gets it.”
At the sound of her name, Y/N looked up from where she was dragging her sandal between the slats of wood, trying to become invisible. Katara and Sokka both looked at her expectantly. “Katara, I’m sorry but I think Sokka is right.” She frowned at her own words. “The mission needs to come first. It will help everyone in the long run.”
“Let’s just get what we need and go.” Aang tried to sound upbeat but everyone knew he was just trying to defuse any more arguments.
Sokka laid out his schedule across their campsite right over Y/N’s lap. As Toph, Aang and Katara bent mud out of the river’s water and boiled it to drink, Sokka and Y/N peered over the paper. She couldn’t read any of Sokka’s messy handwriting but she was able to get the gist of things with the copious color coding. Sokka was crouching over her shoulder mumbling to himself.
She turned to him. “Does it ever stop?” She asked.
Sokka grunted, “Huh?” he continued to look over the schedule, tracing the lines with a finger.
“That little hamster-weasel running on the wheel that powers that brain of yours. Does he ever stop?”
Sokka narrowed his eyes and stood up, completely ignoring her which made her giggle. “Because we spent the whole day here, we’re going to have to wake up every morning forty-three minutes earlier to make it to the Fire Lord in time for the invasion.”
“Forty-three minutes,” Katara deadpanned.
“Well I’m not waking up early,” Toph said, lying back on the dirt.
Y/N reached up and yanked on the hem of Sokka’s tunic until he paid her attention. “Yeah, me either, bud. I don’t get up before that sun rises.”
“Then we’re just going to have to take potty breaks with food breaks.”
There was a chorus of, “ewww” from the rest of the group but Sokka looked unperturbed. “It’s efficient!! It doesn’t matter, we have to leave first thing in the morning.” Sokka rolled up his schedule and stomped off to his sleeping bag leaving the four of them to wonder how he became the one in charge.
---
Y/N couldn’t sleep that night.
Y/N sighed and turned over for what seemed like the fiftieth time that night. She grimaced as her shoulder rolled right onto her hair, yanking it painfully from her scalp. She sat up pulling her hair around to the front. She’d never thought much about it before, always putting it in a braid to keep it out of her face while sparring. Now that she was walking around the Fire Nation with it down all the time to hide her identity, she was much more aware of it. She couldn’t remember the last time it was cut, it was as long as Katara’s and the humidity had made it wavy. It was heavy and thick and always made her hot when the sun was shining.
She ran her fingers through it a couple times, pulling at some tangles (that was another downside to it being down all the time) then slid out of her sleeping bag. She padded quietly barefooted past Toph, who was next to her and walked in the direction of the village. She climbed a little hill and sat with her knees pulled up in the grass overlooking the small water town. Thick black smoke billowed from the towers, even though it was well into the night.
“Couldn’t sleep?” Y/N jumped at the sudden voice but settled as Katara sat next to her, pressing their arms together. “Sorry.”
“I see that you couldn’t either.”
“Every time I close my eyes I see those villagers,” Katara mused.
“Me too.”
“Oh?” She raised her eyebrows. “I thought you agreed with Sokka on leaving them to deal with everything on their own.”
“I was wrong,” Y/N admitted. “I think I wanted to ignore what was happening because I didn’t want to believe that my nation would let this happen, but it’s right in front of my eyes. They let these people down. I want to help in some way.”
“Do you have a plan?” Katara was smiling now.
Y/N smirked. She hadn’t known the girl for long, but it was like their minds had already melded. “Kind of. But I think I need the help of a really powerful waterbender.”
---
“My mom used to tell me stories about the spirits,” Y/N used her thumb to wipe a line of red paint down Katara’s chin. They were sitting on the edge of the bank near the muddy water. The tiny village was across from them, quiet for the night. “There was one that was my favorite and she was called The Painted Lady. Close your eyes–” Y/N wiped the red paint over Katara’s eyelids and made curling lines over cheekbones. “–she was a river spirit. It’s the best persona you could have for where we are. If anyone sees you they’re going to think that’s who you are.” She wiped the leftover paint on her skirt.
Katara donned the wide brimmed hat they had found and Y/N helped her position the lace netting around her face. Y/N pulled the hood of her black cloak up and she hopped in one of the canoes. She crouched down on the bench as Katara created a mist to hide the boat and began to bend the water around them and push them towards the factory.
It took most of the night to distribute the food they had stolen. The boat was only so big and two trips had to be made to get enough which made it all more risky but both of the girls knew that it would all be worth it in the end. When they reached the shore Y/N collapsed with fatigue on the sand while Katara washed the paint off with clean water.
Katara sat down heavily next to her. She sighed but she was clearly pleased with what they had done.
“Katara… I need your help with something.”
---
“Are you sure you want to cut it all off?”
Katara hovered over Y/N’s shoulder holding the blade Y/N had stolen from Sokka’s bag when she stole his cloak. Slowly, she reached out and touched a few strands of hair at Y/N’s back.
Y/N nodded. “Right here.” She pointed to her shoulder. She stared straight ahead into the water as she spoke, not trusting herself to look back at her friend. “Hair is our honor. I know it’s silly, it feels so stupid to be so attached to something so insignificant like hair, but I just couldn’t do it before. I think I still believed in the back of my mind that I could go back; that I could be accepted back. But, not anymore. And I don’t think I want to. Not until it’s some place I can be proud of again. I cannot have honor in a nation I don’t even find honorable. I need redemption for myself. I need to prove to myself that I am not like them anymore. And step one is cutting all ties,”–Y/N took a deep breath–”so get to cutting.”
---
The next morning, Y/N woke to shouting. Before she was able to even see clearly she had jumped to her feet and grabbed her sword. Only then did she realize it was Sokka yelling.
“What’s going on you guys?” Y/N rubbed her sleep bleary eyes. Katara and her had walked back with the sun on the horizon. Neither one of them could have gotten more than an hour of sleep.
“Appa’s sick! It’s awful!” Sokka wailed.
Y/N reached over and patted the sky bison on the snout. He gave a large groan as if to emphasize he wasn’t feeling well. “Aw, poor guy.”
“I didn’t know you cared so much, Sokka,” Toph said as she scratched under Appa’s chin.
“We might as well just throw out the whole schedule!” One look at the others, who were glaring in his direction, sent him stumbling forward to hug Appa’s huge neck. “And I’m concerned because my big furry friend doesn’t feel well.”
“Uh-huh, sure.” Y/N rolled her eyes in Katara’s direction.
Sokka did a double take. “Your hair.”
Y/N reached up to touch the ends self-consciously. “Yeah.”
“Who’s hair?” Toph asked.
“Y/N cut her hair!” Aang exclaimed.
Toph’s glassy eyes widened. “How short!?”
“It’s at my shoulders,” Y/N replied.
“When did you cut it?” Sokka furrowed his brow.
Y/N shrugged. “Last night.”
Before Sokka could ask more questions, Katara broke in. “I think we should head into town for some medicine for Appa.”
---
Y/N walked in the back of the group next to Katara. “How did you… you know?” She cocked her head back in the direction of their camp.
Katara smiled mischievously. “I found these purple berries and fed Appa a ton of them. He just has a stomach ache.” Both of them began giggling which earned them a suspicious look from Sokka.
“What are you laughing about?”
“Nothing!” Y/N waved a hand around her. “We’re talking about how much the village has changed.”
Indeed the village was much livelier due to the food Katara and Y/N had delivered. And like Y/N suspected, they all thought it was because of The Painted Lady. Shoe had commended her for bringing them food in the night. When they found out that there was no medicine in the town, Y/N knew what Katara had planned for the extra night they were going to have to stay.
---
Sokka had ignored Y/N the whole day. If he had done so a few weeks ago, she wouldn’t have thought for a second about it. But now, they were friends, they sparred every evening but even when they weren’t sparring they still talked. She watched him plan for the invasion or he watched her and Katara make dinner.
Silence had never been so deafening.
And finally the silence was broken during dinner.
“You said that you went and cut your hair in the middle of the night.”
The spoon that was halfway between her bowl and her lips almost slipped through her fingers. “Yeah, so?” Y/N asked.
“Well, Shoe said that The Painted Lady was delivering food to the village in the middle of the night but you didn’t say anything about seeing her.”
“I didn’t see her,” Y/N said defensively. “I’m not sure why you’re interrogating me.”
“I’m not interrogating, just wondering.”
Y/N watched as Sokka went back to eating his dinner like nothing happened. She narrowed her eyes at him. There was only one reason why he would be asking such weird questions...
“I just think it’s a little weird that you cut your hair in the middle of the night.”
A shot of anger coursed through Y/N’s body. She couldn’t stop herself from leaning forward. “Sokka, go ahead and ask it because I know you’re dying to.”
“Are you The Painted Lady?”
“No,” Y/N dropped her bowl next to the fire. “I’m going for a walk.”
“I’m coming too!” Toph chirped.
Y/N turned back to look at the girl. “No, you’re not.”
“Too late, Not Painted Lady.” She was already pushing Y/N’s back, guiding them away from the campsite.
---
“You know I’m really not The Painted Lady,” Y/N said. She began to balance herself on a pointy rock but thought better of it when she felt it begin to shift underneath her. She sent a dirty look in Toph’s direction.
“I know, but Katara is. And there’s no way she knew about an obscure Fire Nation spirit.”
“Um...”
“You guys weren’t necessarily quiet when you came back this morning.”
“Riiight.” Y/N bit her lip. “You’re not going to tell Sokka are you?”
“What Sokka doesn’t know won’t hurt him.”
Y/N sighed, relieved. “Thank you, Toph.”
“You’ll owe me of course.” Toph began to balance herself on the same rock, Y/N had just been on.
Y/N laughed. “Owe you?”
“Yeah. Like, sometime, someday I’ll come to you and you owe me for keeping your secret.” Toph grinned.
“I’m going to come to regret this, I think.”
“Probably.”
---
Y/N stayed behind that night. Sokka had been too suspicious of her and besides there wasn’t much she could do while Katara healed all of the sick villagers. The next night, however, Katara shook her awake after only a few hours of sleep. She held a finger to her lips and led her away from the campsite, far enough so they could talk without being heard.
“I need your help tonight,” she whispered.
Y/N didn’t need to be told twice. “What are you thinking of doing?”
Katara’s eyes were wide. “Sokka was right. These villagers need to be able to help themselves but they can’t while that factory is still polluting their water.”
“Oh, you’re gonna–”
“Yeah, we’re going to blow it up.”
“I’ll get my sword.”
---
Y/N sure wasn’t expecting Aang to be so open to the idea of ecoterrorism considering his usual passive nature, but he was a big help with destroying the factory. They were lucky that he had woken up and caught them when they were leaving.
The sun was shining when the three of them got back and it was already starting to warm up. Y/N had her black cloak thrown over her shoulder and she was laughing at something Aang had said.
“–and when you unscrewed those screws with your sword and water came bursting out and flooded the whole floor.” Aang made an explosion noise and started giggling all over again.
Katara shushed them both. “Quiet, we don’t want to wake Sokka up–oh hey… Sokka.”
Y/N tucked her cloak behind her back but the damage was already done. “We were just out on a morning swi–”
“Walk,” Katara corrected. Y/N bit her tongue. How had she almost said swim? Swim?! The river was literally polluted with probably dangerous levels of chemicals and she had almost said they went swimming in it.
“I know you’re The Painted Lady, Y/N! I know you’ve been sneaking out at night and helping the villagers but I didn’t think that you would recruit my sister to help you!”
Y/N was taken aback at the anger that was radiating off of him. It was so different than just a few days earlier when they were sitting in Appa’s saddle joking with one another. As a matter of fact, Y/N wasn’t sure he’d ever shown this much outward fury to her when he hated her.
“Sokka, leave her alone!” Katara stepped in.
Y/N grabbed her arm and pulled her back. It was better for him to be mad at her than his sister. “No, it’s fine. He’s right. I shouldn’t have done it.”
Sokka was fuming. “You put this whole mission at risk while you were off being reckless. We’re leaving right now.”
Normally she might have said something to defend herself but instead Y/N just bumped their shoulders together as she walked past him. She packed her bags silently and rolled her sleeping bag before tossing it all into Appa’s saddle.
Her feelings were hurt that Sokka would think that she would intentionally put them in harm’s way or mess up their mission. But something about his anger seemed misplaced; like there was more to it all. She could have expected that reaction if she had gotten caught, but she hadn’t been. As Y/N tried to rack her brain to figure out what made him tick she heard a buzzing out on the river. Even from where she was standing she could see the Fire Nation soldiers from the factory riding jet skis towards the village.
“Oh no. No, no, no.” Y/N ran to the cliff overlooking the village and fell to her belly. Katara dropped down next to her and Sokka and Aang on her other side.
Toph came up last. “What’s going on?”
Y/N watched in horror as the Fire Nation soldiers rode up alongside the dock and jumped off their jet skis. They began to approach the large group of villagers who had come outside to see what the noise was about.
“What did you do?!” Sokka accused Y/N. She shook her head, unable to speak.
“We destroyed their factory,” Katara muttered.
“You what?!” Sokka yelled.
“It was your idea!” Katara yelled back at him.
“It doesn’t matter whose idea!” Y/N shot to her feet. “I’ve got to help them.”
“You can’t!” Sokka grabbed her wrist to keep her from running away. He was holding on a little too tightly and Y/N desperately wanted to yank out of his grip. She looked at his wild eyes and it finally clicked what the other emotion was. He was scared. Afraid that they were going to get hurt. Afraid that she was going to get hurt. “Those soldiers are out for blood. They want revenge.”
“Well, she’s not going alone!” Katara ripped Sokka’s hand off of Y/N. “We can’t turn our back on people who need us.”
---
Katara and Y/N ran side by side down the trail that led to the water. “I’ll go buy some time. You go put on The Painted Lady costume. If the soldiers think that this village is protected by her they’re less likely to come back.”
“Got it,” Katara ran off in the direction she had stashed her cloak and hat.
“I’m coming with you,” Sokka panted as he ran down the hill followed by Toph and Aang.
“I thought you wanted to leave them,” she retorted. Y/N was done being nice if he wasn’t going to be.
“I’m not going to leave you.” Sokka held her gaze. “Or Katara,” he added quickly.
Y/N blinked. “Oh. Okay, come on.” She pushed one of the canoes into the water. “Aang, can you push us over to that dock there?” She pointed to a deserted dock on the back side of the village. The soldiers wouldn’t see them there. “And then go help Katara.”
“You got it!” He said brightly.
“What do I do?” Toph asked, clearly feeling a bit left out.
“Go make scary spirit noises for Katara,” Sokka instructed.
“Ugh, okay.” Toph ran off among the rocks and cliffs.
---
Aang used water bending to push their canoe. They each grabbed the wooden dock and hauled themselves up it, their boat floating under the dock and off with the current. No going back now. Sokka and Y/N snuck up to the back of the group of villagers and caught the tail end of whatever the soldier had been telling them.
“–destroyed our factory! We’re going to cure the world of this wretched village.”
Y/N pushed her way to the front of the group. “No you’re not.” She held her hands in loose fists by her side. She was itching for her sword but she had left it at camp in her rush to get here.
“And who’s going to stop me?” the large soldier taunted.
Y/N didn’t spare a second thought. She leapt forward and punched him in the chest twice. The armor made her knuckles ache and sent reverberations up her arms. She ducked under a flaming punch from him and kicked his kneecap. He grunted and fell to his knee. He reached forward and before she could jump away, grabbed one of her ankles, pulling her feet out from under her. She shrieked and twisted midair, landing on her shoulder.
That’s when a boomerang came from behind her, looping around to hit the soldier in the back of head, only to be caught again by it’s master. It only gave Sokka enough time to pull Y/N to her feet, because the soldier barely flinched. Agni, his head must be thick, Y/N thought.
The soldier pulled back his fist ready to throw fire at them when it was quickly stifled by a stiff breeze that whipped Y/N’s hair around her face.
He tried again, only for his fire to be blown out again. He growled and went to try a third time. He was interrupted by another soldier. “Uh, boss? What’s that?” He pointed in the direction that the wind came from. A large wall of fog was moving their way. In the distance, there was a rhythmic thumping that could only be a large boulder being lifted and dropped over and over again on the ground; and Y/N was sure she could hear Appa growling as well.
The fog parted and Y/N could see Katara standing between two rolling, white clouds. Then, she was moving towards the dock at frightening speed, gliding over the water like she was flying. She landed gracefully and stood there staring at two soldiers in front of her.
“Come on, let’s move the people further back.” Y/N patted Sokka’s shoulder and the two of them guided the villagers further back onto the platform to keep them out of harm’s way.
Behind her, Y/N heard a yelp and two of the soldiers ran back to their jet skis and drove off without another thought. Only after they left did their swords hit the deck with a clang, evidently bent out of their hands by Aang and thrown to the sky.
“Stand your ground!” Their leader shouted. Katara bent the water around two more of their jet skis and lifted them high in the air. Y/N watched in complete awe as she threw them sideways into the face of the cliff where they exploded on impact. The rest of the soldiers sprinted back to their jet skis leaving their leader alone.
“I’ll take care of this myself,” he growled. It was like it all happened in slow motion. He created a whip of fire and bent it at Katara. Y/N was sure it was going to hit her, she didn’t even move to block it. Y/N gripped Sokka’s arm and then Katara was gone.
From below the deck, Aang had bent the air around Katara and lifted her high above them. Another gust of wind knocked the soldier into the muddy water. Katara floated on mist above him.
“Leave this place and never come back,” The Painted Lady commanded.
Y/N had never seen someone swim so fast. That was when she realized she was still holding her breath. She sighed in relief as Katara landed back on the platform. Aang crawled out from under the dock and Sokka and Y/N ran to join them.
Behind her, the villagers were cheering but the sound was muted because Y/N didn’t care about that, all she cared about was that her and her friends had made it in one piece.
A loud bang sounded from the shore and everyone went silent, their eyes searching for where the noise came from.
“HELLLOOOO!” Someone shouted angrily from the bank.
Sokka and Y/N shared a confused look before she burst out laughing. “Oh my spirits, it’s Toph. She can’t get over here.” Y/N grabbed Sokka’s hand and pulled him to one of the canoes to paddle over and pick up their friend.

A/N: So i just wanted to say that I’ve had the hair cutting scene planned from the beginning, I just was waiting for the right time to place it. her hair is cut now. and the fire nation is dropped. and now all i have to say is: IT’S IN THE NEXT CHAPTER. IT. IS. IN. THE. NEXT. CHAPTER

sunset [sokka]
Pairing: Sokka x reader, also sort of the Gaang x reader.
Requested?: Yes! I actually combined two requests and I hope that y’all don’t mind. Anon: “ can you do a sokka x reader where it’s the 1st anniversary of the readers parents death and sokka comforts them?” and @shadylightpandaspy: “hi, can you do a really fluffy, i’m talking tooth rotting fluff where sokka goes to comfort the reader at sunset and they kith thank you :)”
hi. i would like to say that yes this talks about parents and if you are someone who does not have a good relationship with their parents or doesn’t have parents, i am now your mom. okay? and i love you so very much <3.
.masterlist.
~
After a long day of travel, the Gaang had finally decided to stop and set up camp. An unfortunate run in with Azula and her friends earlier had left half of you exhausted and the other half chi-blocked, thanks to Ty Lee. Luckily, Sokka had managed to save the day by distracting Ty Lee long enough for Aang to get you and Katara onto Appa before flying away.
You had remained quiet for the majority of the time you had traveled, even long after the chi-blocking had worn off. You would only hum in response to some of Katara’s questions, effectively worrying the waterbender as she tried to elicit a response from you.
Once you had found a clearing that Aang deemed suitable, you had silently helped Toph set up, knowing that she was the least likely to nag you. When Katara had approached you to ask if you wanted to help her cook lunch, you had shaken your head before walking over to Appa and curling up on his leg. She had exchanged a worried glance with Aang, who then proceeded to approach you and perch on Appa’s leg next to you.
“Her (Y/N/N),” Aang spoke softly, a small smile on his face. “I was wondering if you’d like to go on a walk? Just us? I saw a cliff that overlooks that valley before we landed and I thought you’d enjoy seeing that.”
You didn’t reply, pretending to be asleep even though your heart was aching. Aang was such sweetheart and he cared so much about his friends- no his family- and ignoring him made you feel bad.
But you just wanted to be left alone.
After receiving no answer from you, Aang wrapped you up in a hug. He hugged you close before leaning in to whisper into your ear. “I know you’re awake (Y/N/N) and I don’t know what’s wrong but I hope you know that we’re all here for you. We’re family and we love you so whenever you’re ready to talk, we’ll be here okay?”
Aang left you alone after that, walking back over to where Katara was standing. You felt tears slide down your face as you took in his words. Family. You were a family, but not a real one.
No, your real family had died a year ago to the day. That’s why you had spent the day being silent and sullen, because the thought of your parents hadn’t left your mind. You couldn’t help but think about how different your life would be now if your parents had never perished.
Perhaps you would have never joined the Gaang. The thought alone made your heart hurt, the possibility of never having met Sokka or any of the others being too sad to even fathom even if you knew it was true. If your parents had never died, then you would’ve been perfectly content living in the small Earth Kingdom town you had been born in. You never would’ve been tempted to leave the town and join the Avatar because if your parents were still alive then you wouldn’t have any bad memories you wanted to leave behind.
But if you had never joined the Gaang, then you never wouldn’t have experienced love on the scale that you had with them. From the hard punches and soft smiles from Toph, to the slight overprotectiveness from Katara, not to mention the lingering touches and “you aren’t eating enough, here have some of my food” from Sokka, you knew that you were lucky to have them in your life.
And how could you forget Aang’s caring nature. He took it upon himself to make sure all of you were okay when he had bigger things to worry about, and he was only 12.
But despite all the love and comfort that the Gaang provided you, you found yourself missing the people who had raised you and given you so much love and support when you were young and bright-eyed.
~
No one tried to approach you for the rest of the afternoon. Appa was your only company and even he could notice that something was wrong, occasionally nudging you with his nose as he tried to get you to cuddle. You petted the sky bison halfheartedly, smiling softly as he let out a low grunt and pushed his face closer to you.
You could hear the faint conversation that was coming from the middle of the campgrounds, Toph’s loud laugh floating through the air. You shifted around on Appa until you heard faint footsteps approaching. A warm hand landed on your shoulder, gently shaking you before you heard a familiar voice.
“(Y/N)?” Sokka asked. “Hey, lunch is ready. You should eat.”
You didn’t acknowledge his words, keeping your eyes closed as you tried to steady your breathing. You heard him sigh softly before leaning over and pressing a kiss to your forehead. Sokka paused as he heard your breath hitch at the kiss, staring at you before turning around.
“I’ll tell the others to leave you alone,” he muttered, finally walking off. You let out a sigh as he finally left, mentally chastising yourself for reacting to the kiss. You opened your eyes and stared up at the sky, watching the clouds float by as you tried to tune out your friends’ laughs. You tried to drift off to sleep but grew restless after a few minutes. Remembering Aang’s earlier words, you slid off of Appa’s leg and grabbed your bag before setting off on a walk.
You made sure to avoid drawing attention to yourself, instead choosing to walk off into the path that was hidden by Appa’s body. You walked for a few minutes, taking deep breaths as you glanced around in wonder. The forest was beautiful, some trees bright with blooms while others towered over you.
After a few more minutes, you found the spot Aang had been talking about. Trees still filled all the space in front of you before they came to an abrupt stop as the floor fell away. Standing at the edge of the cliff, you would see the entirety of the valley. There was a large river snaking through the base of the valley, fields of flowers spreading along one side of the river and a multitude of trees on the other. It was silent and peaceful, the occasional call of a bird being the only audible thing.
You approached the edge of the cliff before kneeling down, clearing the leaves in front of a sturdy tree. You slung your bag off of your shoulder, reaching in and pulling out the picture that you kept with you at all times. Grabbing a rock, you propped the picture up against the base of the tree and placed it on the edge to make sure that it didn’t get blown away. You walked around, picking different flowers as tears slowly streamed down your face.
Gathering the flowers in a small bunch, you grabbed a long piece of grass and tied them all together before placing it down in front of the portrait.
“I miss you,” you whispered before bursting out into tears.
~ Back at the campground, the laughter was dying down as the Gaang finished eating.
“Hey,” Katara said, looking around. “Where’s (Y/N)?”
Aang scrambled up from where he had been sitting, rushing over to Appa before replying. “She’s gone!”
Katara’s brows furrowed in response, a worried look appearing on her face. “What do you mean she’s gone?”
“Well, one moment she was here, and now she’s not,” Toph replied sarcastically, leaning back on her elbows. Katara scowled.
“You mean, you guys don’t remember?” Sokka asked curiously. He was met with blank looks from the rest of the group. “Guys, today is the anniversary of her parents’ death. That’s why I told you to leave her alone.”
Everyone’s expression morphed into one of concern as they remembered your earlier behavior.
“Oh,” Katara whispered. “I-I didn’t know that her parents were dead.”
Aang and Toph muttered in agreement and Sokka flushed as he realized he had revealed information about you. He had no idea that you were the only one he had told.
“Oh, um, can you not tell her I told you?” Sokka asked meekly, an embarrassed smile on his face. The others nodded in agreement.
“I think I know where she is,” Aang finally said, drawing Sokka’s attention. “I mentioned the cliff we passed earlier. I told her she would enjoy the view. She may have gone there?”
”Someone should go get her,” Toph said. Everyone else agreed.
“So who’s gonna go?” Sokka asked after a moment of silence.
“You!” Toph exclaimed pushing him towards the path. “You’re the only one who knew about today, you’re the one who’s gonna comfort her. You’re obviously the one she feels the most comfortable with.”
Sokka stared at them dumbly, nervousness clear on his face as his friends waved him off. He began to walk away slowly, looking back and hoping that someone else would tag along with him. His nerves only got worse when his Aang shot him a thumbs up before turning and walking to Appa.
Taking a deep breath, he continued on his path. He was growing increasingly worried about how to comfort you as he went deeper into the woods. What if he just made things worse? What if you pushed him away and fled? How was he supposed to help when he wasn’t sure if you wanted help in the first place?
His thoughts quieted down when he heard soft sobs. Immediately he sped up his steps, rushing to the sounds as he felt his heart clench.
He found you quickly enough, kneeling by a tree overlooking the valley. You hadn’t noticed him yet, causing you to flinch when you felt someone kneel next to you. The two of you stayed there in silence as Sokka allowed you to let it all out.
After a few more minutes you stood up and made your way over to the edge of the cliff. You saw Sokka’s eyes widen with slight panic and you ignored him as you took a seat, allowing your legs to dangle over the edge. You turned to face him after a few minutes of silence and patted the empty spot next to you. Sokka made his way over to you, sitting down a bit closer to you than he intended to. Before he could shift and put a little more distance between the two of you, you rested your head on his shoulder. He stiffened up slightly as your sudden movement before relaxing, angling his body to allow you to nestle closer to him.
His breath caught in his throat as you pushed yourself closer to him and wrapped your arms around his waist. His arms came to wrap around you as well, pulling you impossibly close as he felt the occasional sob shudder through your body. The two of you stayed like that for a long time, the sun beginning to set as the two of you sat there embracing.
It wasn’t until the sun had dipped dangerously close to the horizon that you finally lifted your head from Sokka’s neck. You kept hugging him close as you looked out at the landscape below you. It looked different now, illuminated by the golden glow of the sun.
“They would’ve l-loved this,” you whispered. Sokka pretended not to notice the crack in your voice. He stayed silent for a moment, not knowing how to reply. You didn’t mind his lack of response; his presence was more than enough. “Sunset was my mom’s favorite time of day and my dad made sure to watch it with her whenever we traveled.”
You turned your gaze to look up at Sokka and he felt his heart break at the sight of you. Your cheeks were rosy and damp with tears; the same tears that were making your eyes shine so brightly even though all Sokka could see in them was pain and sadness. He gently reached up and tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear. Even crying you were the most beautiful person he had ever seen in his life.
“I’m sorry,” you sniffled. “I cried all over you.”
Sokka looked down at you tenderly before resting his chin on top of your head. “Don’t apologize. I remember what today is. You shouldn’t have to be alone today.”
You whimpered softly at his words. “I miss them so much, Sokka. I miss them so much that it hurts. Will it ever stop hurting?”
Tears welled up in the Water Tribe boy’s eyes at your words, both from your pain and from the pain he remembered when he first lost his own mother. He pressed a kiss to the top of your head before speaking. “No, it doesn’t stop. But it gets easier with time, I promise it does.”
You didn’t reply, leaning your head against his collarbone as you listened to him speak.
“When my mother died, I didn’t know what to do. My father wasn’t dead but with him being gone, it felt as though we had lost both our parents. I definitely took it harder than Katara; somehow she was able to bounce back a lot quicker than I was,” Sokka took a deep breath, it felt good to finally speak about his emotions. “Katara is a lot stronger than I am, and I am very lucky to have her. Even when she gets annoying. And you, you’re stronger than the two of us combined (Y/N/N). I know you’ll be able to grow and get through this, and we’ll be here for you.”
You managed to smile up at him, his words running though your head as you thought about the impact the Gaang had had on you ever since you joined.
“You know, other than today I’ve been doing pretty good,” you finally spoke, averting your eyes from Sokka. “Joining team Avatar was probably the best decision I ever made. You guys have helped me so much more than you think you have.”
Sokka didn’t say anything, his eyes never leaving you as you kept speaking.
“I know that if my parents were still around, I never would’ve met you. But I also know that they’re probably really proud of me for stepping up and joining you guys because you’re making a change and doing the right thing,” you paused for a few seconds before looking up at Sokka. “It’s funny really, I lost my family but I ended up gaining a new one just a few days later.”
“We all care about you,” Sokka murmured, his voice low. “You know that right? They’re all back at the campsite worried out of their minds because they want to know what’s up with you.”
You chuckled at his words. “Thank you Sokka.”
“Me? I didn’t do anything.”
“Didn’t do anything?” you asked, looking up at him. “You came all the way out here to check on me Sokka. That’s something.”
“It’s because I love you,” Sokka replied instantly, not even thinking about the words that left his mouth. The statement felt so natural and he couldn’t help the faint blush that spread across his cheeks.
You stared at him for a few seconds before leaning up and pressing your lips to his. He responded in kind, gently kissing back before you pulled away and smiled up at him. “I love you too Sokka.”
Sokka hugged you tightly as you both looked out at the valley. “I can’t promise that things will get easier anytime soon, but what I can promise you is that I’ll be there every step of the way to take care of you and love you unconditionally.”
“My parents would’ve loved you,” you whispered as the sun finally set. You slowly untangled yourself from Sokka and walked over to the portrait of your parents, gently picking it up and tucking back into your bag. Sokka slowly rose as well, standing a few feet behind you.
“Do you really mean that?” he asked. You nodded. Smiling softly, he walked forwards and interlaced your fingers. “Are you ready to go back?”
You took one last look at the view before you and nodded, never letting go of Sokka’s hand as you walked back to the campground. When you got back, you were greeted by a happy Appa, and you smiled as he flopped onto his back. You rubbed his belly with your free hand before reaching into your bag and pulling out a moon peach and tossing it to him.
“You’re back!” Katara exclaimed, finally noticing the two of you. She ran up to you and hugged you. “You’re just in time for dinner!”
A soft smile overtook your face as Sokka led you to the campfire. You sat next to him, close enough for your shoulders to rub occasionally. You took the bowl of food from Katara with a grateful smile and you began eating, looking around at all of your friends.
You watched with a soft smile as Aang told you all a story from his days before the iceberg. Katara looked at him with interest, paying attention to everything he was saying. Toph, on the other hand, kept interrupting and making sarcastic comments, a bored expression on her face as she tried to keep her own smile off of her face.
“Hey, you okay?” Sokka whispered, bumping his shoulder against yours. You turned to face him and leaned up, pressing a kiss to his jaw.
“I will be,” you whispered back, ignoring the way Katara was now struggling to keep a smile off her face at your actions.
Yeah, you were still hurting and you would be for a long time. But with the help of your friends family, you knew that the healing process would be just a little bit easier.

Momo
Have you ever heard about those cats in the hospital that cuddle up to people about to die because somehow the cats just know? Well, I was thinking...
Imagine Momo following Aang around more than usual.
Imagine Momo insistently tugging Aang to Katara because she was the magic lady who made all the hurts feel better.
Imagine Momo cuddling into Aang’s robes and putting baby kisses on his head like Aang did to his kids and Momo to make them feel better.
Imagine Momo bringing Aang his favorite toys because he knew a bad thing was happening and that he wouldn’t be able to follow where Aang was gonna go.
Imagine Momo waiting by Aang’s grave because Momo had seen Aang go into the ground before and always come up afterwards.
Imagine Momo being the last survivor of the Southern Air Temple and not understanding why he felt so alone even though there were new lemurs and bison and an air-bending-human that looked so much like what he knew but also so different.
Imagine Momo wearing both a lock of Appa’s fur and a piece of Aang’s cloak around each of his wrists.
Imagine Momo, too old to fly, on Air Temple Island every day on the pier where Aang would always land his glider to greet him when he came home.
Imagine Momo, so old that he’s blind and lame, on Air Temple Island when Katara and everyone are moved out and even Tenzin is gone for the night so Momo has no one who could sense that he was about to leave where no one else could follow.
Imagine Momo struggling to breathe and feeling as lost as when he waited in the spot by the fishes in the North Pole where Aang would surely come back for him.
Imagine Momo being so scared when he hears a loud noise but can’t see what it is or move away from it.
Imagine Momo feeling something like relief when he feels baby Jinora, who had escaped from her crib to go to the little spirit she sensed was fading, plop on the ground next to him.
Imagine Momo getting as close to crying as a lemur can get when Jinora puts baby kisses on his head to make him feel better like how Tenzin did to her.
Imagine Momo cuddling into Jinora even though she was just barely bigger than him as she picks him up in her chubby little arms and waddles him to her room to give him her toys.
Imagine Momo purring for the first time in years as Jinora takes him all the way outside to the peach tree all while gently swinging him and making swooshing sounds like she was pretending he was young enough to fly again.
Imagine Momo too weak to curl up as Jinora cradles him in her lap and babbles happily about some human stuff as she shares a peach with him even though she has to hold the torn-in-half fruit right next to his face and he can just barely lick the sweet treat.
Imagine Momo somehow feeling familiar hands petting him even though it was just Jinora gently touching him.
Imagine Momo melting into Jinora’s little laughs and hanging on just enough to feel her airbend—her winds so blissfully familiar—for the first time as she struggles to make the leaves move all pretty for him.
Imagine Momo opening his eyes and being able to see for the first time in years and being greeting by Aang’s smile even though Momo was looking up at Jinora.
Imagine Momo being happy but confused as Jinora picks him up and gives him to the open hands that had been waiting so long for him.
Imagine Momo’s spirit holding onto Aang’s and Appa’s as they all three wave goodbye to baby Jinora who waves back just as a frantic Pema bursts into the courtyard looking for her and not seeing the the trio made whole again.
Imagine Momo’s spirit cherishing the feeling of being in little Jinora’s arms because it felt so much more freeing than flying.
Imagine Momo’s spirit too timid to step through the spirit portal until Korra takes his hand—so familiar—and guides him through to the physical world.

Displacement - A New Beginning
Content Warning: Major Character Death, Graphic Depictions of Violence, Blood and Gore
Summary
The rise of Vaatu leads to unprecedented darkness falling upon the world. Unexpected events lead to Azula learning to live in an unknown world, preparing for an uncertain future.
-------------------------------------------------------
A spell to close the Hellmouth in "The Zeppo" has unexpected consequences. With no way of sending the newcomer home, Buffy, Faith and the Scoobies do their best to help the young girl adapt to her new home.
Or
While facing the possible end of the world, Azula finds herself transported through the newly created hellmouth, ending up in Sunnydale. Watch as she grows and adapts in this new world, learning to overcome the pain of losing loved ones, finding a family, and starting to see this as a new opportunity at life.
Anyone who thought the Fire Nation was evil was a fool. At least they should feel they are, given the darkness that has enveloped the world in the four years since the war has ended. It all began last year when Avatar Roku warned Avatar Aang that there was a risk of a dark spirit breaking free. He called it Vatu. It was the spirit of chaos and darkness, the antithesis to the Avatar spirit.
The spirit had a sort of cult worshipping it. Avatar Aang tried to stop them himself, not wanting to involve their friends and risk our safety. That was his first mistake. It left Katara and myself woefully unprepared for the cult's ambush. We fought them off as best as we could, but there were far too many. In the end, our cottage was left in ruins, dead waterless foliage caked in our enemy's blood, I was nearly beaten unconscious, and Katara was taken.
They times the kidnapping perfectly, just a day before their planned ritual to free Vaatu from his imprisonment. Avatar Aang, the foolish child that he is, refused to leave Katara's rescue to Sokka, Toph, and myself. His inability to let go of the infatuation he holds for Katara gave the cult enough time to break Vaatu's bindings. It was then the darkest days came.
Upon its release, Vaatu, with the help of its cult, performed a ritual. Black tendrils erupted from its body, tearing across the skies and burrowing into the earth, its physical dorm dissolving in the process. Agni's light was blocked by shadows stripping bending from Firebenders across the glow. From the five largest points, great beasts emerged. Enormous, otherworldly, monstrosities that the worst of nightmares couldn't compare to. Following their emergence, a diverse horde of smaller, equally horrid, creatures poured from the openings.
There was no time to prepare. Within hours the largest cities were reduced to unrecognizable ruins. Formerly bustling streets were transformed into rivers of red. Body parts left strewn across the rubble. Images of beast feasting on children still haunt my mind. Even our own friends weren't able to escape the carnage. We managed to find Ty Lee the last of the living Kyoshi Warriors, just as she was impaled on the claws of a bald, gaunt humanoid-looking monster. It managed to rip an arm from her body by the time we closed the distance enough for Katara to decapitate it with a disk of ice. Her last words will forever be seared in my mind.
"I'm happy you're ok 'Zula."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Over the two weeks, since The Emergence began, Aang was almost non-stop searching for and rescuing survivors. We established a temporary refugee camp at the unoccupied Southern Air Temple. Like an endlessly erupting volcano, the creature continued rising from the pits Vatu created. Isolated locations like the Air Temples and Water Tribes were the only places still safe, for now at least.
Knowing that allowing events to continue unimpeded, Aang turned to the spirits for guidance. The Air Temple's sacred grounds made the transition from the mortal world to the spiritual plane much easier. Sitting in the temple powerless as Katara held me, waiting for Aang to return from the spirit world, listening to the distant roars of monsters below the clouds, I don't think I ever felt so terrified.
Almost like she could sense my fear, Katara held me tighter, softly kissed the top of my head while gently running her fingers through my now unkempt hair. It's strange how the moment I felt the most fear was followed by one where I felt incredibly safe. As her gentle caresses lulled me to sleep, I heard a whisper from my lover. A hope a clung to until the very end.
"Everything will be ok Zula. We'll make it through this."
Two days later, Aang returned from the spirit world. With the help of Avatar Roku, he had managed to make contact with Rava, the spirit of light and the source of the Avatar's power. With the information she gave us, we were able to come up with a plan. Vaatu's ritual tore open portals that were connected to another dimension. They were directly connected to the five largest beasts that first erupted from them. While the portals themselves couldn't be closed, the pits that housed them would be sealed, finally stopping the endless stream of monsters from pouring into our world. All they had to do was kill the five great beasts.
Admittedly, it wasn't much of a plan. As Sokka had put it "So all we have to do is take out monsters the size of small palaces? Great! You know, for once, why couldn't the world-saving plan be easy." I rolled my eyes at his remark at the time but didn't make a retort. The small smiles that our friends held were worth dealing with his rather poor sense of humor. Besides, he was family after all, and if he said something too stupid I'm sure Katara would've happily frozen him to the ceiling.
Rava's power, being the opposite of Vaatu's, would lure the massive beasts to Aang, acting as a sort of beacon. The general plan was that Aang would activate the Avatar State, he would kill the beasts near the pits, we would keep the army of smaller monsters away from Aang while he fights the bigger ones, don't die. Said like that, the plan sounded risky but simple. Unfortunately, it was anything but simple.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There were a few Earthbenders among the rescued survivors that volunteered to help. We knew we couldn't hold back a never-ending army. After talking with Sokka, rapidly formulating and dismissing plans, the best we came up with was having the Earthbenders create a dome over the pit. This would grab the attention of the surrounding creatures. While they focused on not letting the army break through the barrier, the rest of us would protect the Earthbenders until the beast was slain.
Naturally, it wasn't that simple. Rava failed to mention that as each beast died, only some of Vaatu's energy returned to the pit, sealing it. The rest dispersed to the remaining beasts, making them stronger. The first there battles went relatively smoothly, the growing strength of the beasts was more and more apparent with each successive fight. We experienced a handful of losses but nothing unexpected. Merely some inexperienced volunteers. It was the fourth battle that hit our group the hardest.
The battle started just like every other, sealing the pit and fighting the surrounding beasts. However, due to the strength of this beast, this fight lasted far longer than the last. With our growing exhaustion, it was only a matter of time before someone made a mistake. As Sokka slew one of them, another managed to catch him off guard from behind. Faster than anyone could react, the hairless humanoid snatched his wolf-tail, yanking him back, and sunk its fangs into the side of his neck. Within seconds his skin lost all color and he was left hanging limp in the thing's arms, his sword slipping from his hands and his vacant eyes forever left wide in horror.
That fight ended soon after, with the Avatar finally defeating the creature. I had to nearly rip Katara away from her fallen brother, the last of her biological family. I held her as she cried during the entire flight back to the Southern Air Temple. Upon our arrival, Aang approached us after climbing off of Appa.
"I'm sorry for what happened to Sokka, Katara." He began. At the sound of his voice, I felt Katara stiffen in my arms.
"You're sorry..." It was a whisper I barely heard as she pulled away, her face displaying a hatred I didn't know she was capable of. He began to speak again but she cut him off.
"How dare you come to me and say that!" She growled at him. "Like I'm sorry will make it all better! You could've stopped all of this! You could have prevented Vaatu from breaking free and none of this would've happened! Now SOKKA IS DEAD!" A loud slap echoed across the now silent temple as she struck Aang across the face.
Her voice lowered to a whisper as she continued, tears freely falling from her eyes. "S-s-sokka is d-dead and it's all your fault... Just stay away from me..." Finishing her quiet statement, Katara ran inside the temple, away from the sympathetic stares of the gathered survivors.
Aang watched her go, holding his own tears back before turning to me. He unfastened the strap holding Sokka's blade across his back. With both hands, he held it out to me. "Will you please give this to her. He would want her to have it."
I accepted the blade and he turned, beginning to walk away. "She didn't mean that you know. Katara's hurt and angry."
I don't know why I felt the need to offer him that small comfort. Maybe it was because Aang had taken the time, despite his exhaustion, to do this for her fiance. Regardless of the reason, he paused, shaking his head.
"Doesn't matter Azula. Even if she apologizes, we both know she's right." With that statement, he walked away. Turning, I walked in the direction Katara had run. I knew I wasn't the best at providing comfort, but that's all I could do for her now. I don't remember ever seeing her so broken, and I don't think there's anything I could've said to help.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Katara squeezing my hand pulled me from my memories. "Are you ok?"
I turned to look at her, seeing the concern reflected in her eyes. I looked over the edge of the Bison's saddle, noting that the sea was replaced by land below us, before responding "Ya, I'm fine. Was just thinking about everything that happened. What brought us here."
Katara stilled, appearing to look at something that wasn't there. She was probably lost within the same memories I was moments ago. I squeezed her hand softly, wondering for a moment how her hands remained so soft after the countless battles they've been through. She jerked slightly, her eyes regaining focus before giving me a small smile. It was a rare sight in recent months but still as beautiful as the day she proposed.
"Despite everything that's happened, I'm glad you've been here with me Zula." Katara said softly before leaning in and giving me a soft kiss that left my heart stuttering. It's amazing that, after all this time, she still has the same effect on me. It faintly reminds me of how nervous I was when I admitted out loud to Ty Lee and Zuko that I wanted to marry her. Though the nervousness I felt that day grew to be far greater when she walked around the corner in the palace hallway, clearly having heard what I said.
I couldn't stop the small smile from forming on my face as the memory washed over me. Leaning my forehead against hers, I recalled her walking up to me, her wide-eyed, surprised, expression shifting to one of pure happiness.
"Ya know, I've been nervous all week about giving this to you, but suddenly I feel a lot more confident." She had said jokingly, a smirk plastered on her face as she pulled a small rectangle box from her robe. She opened the box, standing barely a foot away, revealing a blue necklace, simple in design. The pendant had the symbol of the Fire Nation in the center. Only, instead of black over a red background, it was ivory over a pale blue. It was simple but perfect.
"In the Watertribes, we use necklaces to propose. I wasn't so sure before, but something tells me I can guess your answer. Will you marry me?" Her eyes twinkled in amusement as I nodded dumbly, too shocked over what had just happened. It certainly wasn't my most elegant moment. It had taken me a few moments to process what had happened before I launched myself at her, pulling her into a searing kiss which she smiled into. Pulling away from me, with eyes full of joy and a smile lighting up her face, Katara asked "Can I put it on you?"
I nodded again, not trusting my voice. Katara pulled the necklace from its case and walked around me as it looked over at Zuko and Ty Lee both wearing equally large smiles. As soon as it was fastened, Zuko pulled us both into a large hug, quickly followed by Ty Lee, who couldn't contain her excitement. "Oh my gosh Azula! Congratulations! You're getting married! There is so much planning we have to do! The decorations, oh you know there has to be music..."
I looked into Katara's eyes, not pulling away from her, returning the smile. "There's nowhere else I'd rather be." I said softly so only she could hear, before closing the distance for another kiss.
We were pulled from our moment by Appa beginning his descent, and Aang jumping off, unfurling his glider and flying away, creating distance for his battle. Looking back towards the rapidly approaching ground of the western Earth Kingdom, I could see the sea of black dots below us start to become more defined, revealing the mass of creatures we'll soon be fighting. Appa landed with a massive gust of wind sending monsters flying, giving us a few moments to disembark and fall into formation.
As soon as Toph landed, she quickly entombed the pit in a think earthen dome, soon backed by two other Earthbenders, preventing the swarm of monsters from continuing to grow. Katara, myself and the other volunteer survivors formed a protective perimeter around them. I quickly unsheathed Sokka's black blade instead of using my dual tanto. Katara handed me the sword before we left the temple, saying Sokka would want to be here fighting with us. Looking at the gleaming dark metal, I knew she was right.
The luminous light of the Avatar state in the distance, shortly followed by a deafening roar and rumbling earth signified the start of the battle. The monstrosities surrounding us, the same kind that butchered Ty lee, righted themselves before charging. There was a vindictive pleasure in cutting them down, watching their bodies crumble into dust as their heads rolled. The creatures were stronger and faster than normal people, that was unquestionable. However, for a veteran of the 100-year war, their attacks were laughably easy to read and counter.
As the battle drew on, the quakes from Aang's battle with the giant, snake-like beast continued, and exhaustion slowly began to seep in. There was a yell to my left followed by a sickening snap that drew my attention. The limp body of a survivor was held by one of our enemies, head twisted to an unnatural degree. It carelessly threw the body into another ally that was attempting to flank it before running towards the earthbenders.
"Katara!" I yelled, directing her to the monster. She quickly launched a disk of ice, decapitating the beast.
"Fall in!" I yelled, causing our allies to move closer to the earthbenders, closing the gap in our defense.
I risked a glance towards Aang's fight to see the serpent falling from a newly formed mountain, who's shadow covered our battlefield. The end of its tail was coiled around the light of the Avatar State. Not a moment later, a massive quake tore across the Earth, the impact echoing in its wake. Chaotic black and red energy tore through the air, washing over us, blasting through the cover of the pit, and, for the first time in ages, I felt my Firebending return as Agni's light shined once again.
Unlike before, when the energy entered the hole it pulsed. Before I could react, some of the energy solidified, wrapping around my waist, before it began to drag me with it.
"Azula!" I heard Katara yelled as she raced towards me, skating across her ice. Using it, Katara launched herself off the ramp, rapidly closing the distance between us. Her left hand gripped mine as she used the last of her water to freeze her feet to the ground, stopping the energy from pulling me further.
I smirked at the display. "Very impressive Master Katara." I said causing her to roll her eyes.
"Only you could brush off nearly dying so easily." She said, her light tone trying to hide the strain of fighting the pulling tendril of energy. Her expression softened before she looked me in the eyes and said "I told you we would make it through this remember. I'm not gonna let you make a list out of..." Her words abruptly stopped as warm blood splattered across my face. "Zula... Your face..." Her voice was weak, words barely audible. My mind shut down, a sinking emptiness filled me as I started at the now crimson fist sticking through my fiance's chest. I couldn't help but look into her wide, horrified, blue eyes as the first extracted itself. Her grip on my hand didn't lessen as the bloodied hand gripped her hair, pulling her head to the side.
Gaunt, bald, fanged monsters peered at me from over her shoulder, giving me a sickening, malicious, grin before sinking its teeth into the side of Katara's neck. Her mouth opened in a silent scream, the grip on my hand weakening. The slick blood coating her front caused my hand to slide out of hers within a moment, my grip causing her ring to slide off with it. I watched, unable to speak, as the tendril of energy pulled me into to pit. The last thing I saw being the light leaving Katara's beautiful eyes as it tore its fangs from her throat.

It was still fairly early in the morning. Appa and Eomma had already gone to open up the cafe and after I’m done going to the highschool I would have nowhere else to go but stay at home for my second day in Busan. I didn’t want to stay at the cafe during opening hours. News had already gone out with me staying in Busan and I really didn’t want to cause my parents trouble, so preferably I should just stay home.
“Hyung!”
“JiHyun, I have to get to Busan High School before their classes start.”
“But we can come with you!”
I couldn’t help but let out a loud laugh at my younger brother’s idea. I looked towards the two Seong sisters sitting ever so awkwardly on the sofa.
“I don’t get it hyung. We’re free for the entire morning and the PRIVATE tour you arranged is still at noon. What’s wrong with coming with you to your High School business thing? And why can’t you come with us on the tour?” JiHyun looked defeated and I really hated myself for making him upset, though I didn’t understand why he couldn’t understand what I was doing.
“JiHyun… People will recognize me and your tour will be ruined. I’m fine staying at home until you guys come back and we can go out for dinner with Appa. And my work is going to be really quick and really boring.” I explained slowly as JiHyun sat on the sofa defeated. His shoulders sagging down like the cushion around him did.
Areum placed a hand on his back to comfort the younger boy before she looked at me with those big dark brown deep eyes that sent a tingling sensation to my airy stomach. I can tell that she was unsure of something from the way her pupils would slightly move though still keeping them staring at me. She blinked and stood up to approach me and lowered the volume of her voice to speak to me.
“Jimin… I’m sure you don’t want us in your work, but JiHyun just wants to spend the most time with you. I know your job really makes it difficult to see each other and both me and Ahnna being here at the same time as you is probably making it more difficult for JiHyun to spend his time properly but you have to understand your younger brother. If you don’t want us in your work then it’s okay, but please try to join us in the tour at least. It will be difficult to avoid getting recognized in your hometown but it would mean everything to JiHyun.” Areum’s voice carried a calmness that relaxed shoulders that I didn’t know were tense. Her slow and placid way of speaking to me made me understand her point instantly and I can feel my lips frown from my dawning realization.
The last time I properly saw JiHyun was last year. It was a quick overnight visit before I flew to New York for the New Year and we managed to only exchange a few words due to my rush in getting papers done in Busan. This was the only time in a long while that he actually had my full attention and I didn’t realize how much that meant to him. We were always a close knitted family. No matter the distance; we still occasionally sent each other messages and planned things for when they got a chance to go to Seoul or when I would go to Busan. I even planned on buying a bigger apartment when needed so that I can have a room just for my parents to stay in when they stay in Seoul.
I breathed out and nodded as I blinked slowly. Areum had a small smile on her lips as I checked my phone for the time. I was going to be late, though it would be fine. They would understand and it wasn’t that time stricken. Actually, it was only going to overlook the work I wanted to do, I hated planning things on my days off so of course this small work time incorporated early in the day was minimal effort.
“Okay… Go get changed and let’s go. We can have some proper breakfast on the way too.”
JiHyun’s head immediately snapped up at my voice. His lips turned up as he met my eyes and he immediately stood up and got in his room to change up as I sat on the sofa and got my phone out to message the people I was going to meet about my slight delay.
“Are you two okay with coming with us? Or will you stay here?” I asked the two Seong’s.
“We have nothing else to do so we’ll come with you.” Ahnna answered with a smile as I nodded and called a car to pick us up.
“Do you want us to leave you be with your work?” JiHyun asked as the van we rode drove closer to the Busan High School of Arts.
“No, it’s fine unless you want to. It’ll be a quick 10 minutes.”
All four of us did end up coming down the van to enter the school. I only managed to stay a little over a year in this high school, since in my second year I moved to Seoul, though I always appreciated my old schools. This was the school that held my memories of the dance club and the teacher that suggested I join an entertainment company. If it wasn’t for them then I might’ve not fallen in love with dance, and my life would’ve looked completely different if I didn’t.
“Ah, Park Jimin ssi!” A man dressed in formal attire greeted me by the entrance as two more men stood beside him and greeted me.
“Kim Gi Deok, pleasure to meet you again.” I bowed before taking the man’s extended hand to shake.
“I hope you don’t mind that I brought my brother JiHyun and our friends Seong Areum and Ahnna with me.” I gestured to the people beside me as the man simply shook his hand and sent them a smile.
“Not at all. After everything you’ve done for our schools, it is only our pleasure.”
“It’s my pleasure to give back. Speaking of which…” I trailed off as I looked around the halls.
“Ah yes! Come with me. We received all 1200 desks and chairs late December and the students are now in class placing them to good use!” The man walked in front of me as I followed and glanced behind me to see if the three were still following me as the two other men followed from behind them.
“I’m glad. I really wanted to help out.”
We turned the corner and saw some of the earlier years in their classrooms. I could feel my cheeks rise at the sight of them sitting comfortably on their seats as they focused on their teachers. I saw myself in them. So much hope, dream, and passion for the future.
“I hope you were informed that the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education has already seen some developments and the 30% of your donation that went to us are being placed to good use in nurturing our students.”
I smiled with a nod of my head. I had a few people arrange my donations for me and update me on them though it was much greater to hear it in person and see the students.
“And as we move here…” We all reached the end of the hallway and turned to the last classroom, the same classroom I spent most of my days in.
“One of your fan clubs' 10 million won donation was also already used as scholarships for these students. We really can't thank you enough for your generosity and kind acts.” The man bowed deeply again as I bowed the same angle as him. I wasn’t aware of such doings though a sense of pride overcame me from our joint actions.
“I didn’t know they did such things, but I’m glad we all helped.”
As quick as we entered the school, we were soon leaving out the doors after rejecting a meal since we were all relatively full from breakfast. I planned for more projects to come in aiding my past schools though since this project had gotten public recently, I opted to slow down those projects for another time.
“Where’s the van?” JiHyun asked as we exited the building with an empty road in front of us.
“You said you wanted to take a walk and go past our middle school, didn’t you?” I raised a brow as a bright smile crept onto my younger brother’s face. I can tell the two girls also enjoyed seeing JiHyun so happy and I couldn’t help but smile with them.
“We’re not walking all the way to Yonsan! My knees would kill me. We're not as young as we were before, but we’re getting in the van by the highway and then we’ll drive past Hoedong.” I corrected myself, though the boy’s grin still stayed on his lips and creased his cheeks.
“Hyung ah! It’s been too long since we’ve properly catched up.” JiHyun said as he walked beside me on the sidewalk whilst Ahnna and Areum walked behind us.
“It’s good to catch up. I haven’t properly seen you in so long.” I shrugged as I placed my hands in the pockets of my coat.
“Areum noona, remember when we ran from Yonsan to Busan High School to give hyung his lunch?” JiHyun looked back at Areum and I guessed she nodded in return, though I kept my eyes on the rubbled concrete of a small one lane street I used to walk through every afternoon.
“Huh? Why were you going to oppa’s school?” Ahnna asked.
“Jimin hyung and my bag got mixed up so me and Areum had to run all the way to hyung’s school before running back to catch a bus to Yonsan. We were a sweating mess!” JiHyun explained with a few movements to reenact what he remembered.
“YOU had to run to Jimin ssi’s school… You practically dragged me to come with you!” Areum corrected the younger boy as laughter from me and Ahnna erupted.
“Hey! Would you really let me run all by mys—“
“I failed an oral recitation because I couldn’t look over my presentation during lunch time!” Areum interrupted.
“Woah, JiHyun?!” I spoke up as this was new information to me. Yes, they had mentioned this event a few times before though Areum failing a recitation because of it never reached my ears.
“What?” JiHyun looked at me confused.
“Why did you have to bring Areum with you?!
“Hyung! I could’ve gotten kidnapped!”
“I don’t get why you had to run either. I could’ve bought my lunch or ate yours.” I thinned my lips.
“And let you have my homemade gimbap?! I made those with my 13 year old blood, sweat, and tears! And… I didn’t know the correct bus routes to get back to Yonsan…”
We again erupted in laughter at JiHyun’s words as he joined us with a few chuckles. Oh, to go back in time and see the beads of sweat on their foreheads from running. I remembered feeling a bit embarrassed by the whole fiasco back then. I had to be called over to the front gate because middle schoolers weren’t allowed inside our campus especially in the middle of the day.
Our laughter subsided as we reached the main road where there were more cars on the street and people on the sidewalk though
“Jimin oppa, when did you start dancing passionately?” Ahnna asked as I turned to look back at her.
“First year highschool. In that very high school, some group of dancers approached me and asked me if I wanted to try dancing after classes and I just got hooked.” I smiled though a tsk from JiHyun said otherwise.
“Jimin hyung always loved dancing, ever since he was a child. He joined Just Dance academy during middle school and that’s when he got connected to go to Seoul, right noona?” JiHyun corrected my version of events as if he was me. Though we still both looked back to face Areum to see which side she was going to take.
“Jimin loved dancing since he was little. So did he love singing so he joined Just Dance Academy, but left to focus on high school… Though he still managed to join a dance club and ended up going to Seoul. Well, that’s how I remember it. It’s a long time ago now.” Areum shrugged as she opted to keep her eyes on her shoes.
“Why are both of you talking as if you lived my life?” I half-jokingly said with a laugh though no one else laughed with me.
“Come to think of it… yeah. I think Eumi noona is right. Jimin hyung loves to end things to focus on other things though ends up coming back to perfect it either way. Tsk tsk.”
“Aish! Why are you talking like that when I’m right beside you!” I scolded in an angry tone as I shoved JiHyun’s shoulder.
“Ouch! It’s true!”
I ended up chasing and play-fighting with JiHyun as the girl’s could only giggle at our childishness. I felt at ease. I felt at home. It felt as though nothing had changed between us, we were still the Seongs and Parks that walked and commuted from our school to martial arts practice and dance practice. We still laughed like we had in our years of friendship and that was my home.
