I've seen antishippers unironically say and agree with eachother on the following opinions: being a proshipper means people should be allowed to bully you. proshippers make them believe in eugenics. proshippers all belong in jail. being a proshipper means people can send you death and rape threats because "you deserve it". being a proshipper should be basis for taking away someone's human rights or at least put them on a watchlist.

I'm not a proshipper because i care too much about fictional ships, I'm a proshipper because antishippers sent my friends threats for liking certain ships. I'm a proshipper because i believe i shouldn't have my human rights taken away or be bullied or in jail just for liking a fucking ship. If you believe ship discourse is stupid and immature, then you probably believe people shouldn't be thrown in jail for it.

we do not support darkshipping. it's gross and makes us deeply uncomfortable. we're iffy on comshipping.. no, fiction doesn't equal reality, but there's a difference between "this horrible thing happens and it is very bad, here is how it effects victims" in a story and "this horrible thing happens and it's so cute" in a story. dark content doesn't always glorify the matter, but saying it's cute or wholesome or a fun ship does glorify it. we used to darkship. it's not helpful nor does it improve anything to call ab*se and r*pe "cute".

we do not support pro- or neu- contact or anti-recovery paras. it's still a disorder and you are allowed to share experiences but do seek strict and deep help. pls dni, it makes us deeply uncomfortable

we do not support transIDs or (more strictly) transharmful/transharmed. this does invalid real victims and glorifies real abusers. we are real victims. you being transgr**med or transCocsa directly affects us. and we do not support that. it's okay to feel as though you want it or even deserve it, that's commonly symptoms of existing trauma or illness. however, if we ever see a transgr**mer or transgr**med thing again, as a sys who has been groomed in the past, you will be blocked on sight.

your idenities cause us and others real harm. do not play innocent while you identify as transr*pe or something. harmful identities are not meant to be glorified and treated as normal. we do not have to keep quiet so you can be allowed to be harmful.

Just a little positivity post cuz I need this rn personally: Remember that your sexual fantasies aren't something to be ashamed of.

You having fantasies and writing about/consuming content with those fantasies in it can't harm anyone, so don't let anyone shame you into thinking you're a bad person for having them.

What makes kink exciting for a large majority of people is the taboo aspects. While not everyone may share your kinks, it's normal to be into weird, taboo, illegal, or generally "bad" things.

What's important is making sure no one is harmed when you partake in your kink. That's the only thing. You aren't bad for being into what you're into. Periodt.
