Every single interview I read from this guy just intensifies the ick vibes.

He wants to keep Buck as innocent as possible??? Way to infantilize a 30 something. Buck isn't "innocent" . Buck has experienced emotional neglect (abuse!) at the hands of his parents, physical and mental neglect both on and off the job, and - newsflash! - just because it took him until now to figure out that he isn't straight, doesn't mean he's never been affected by homophobia or biphobia. And if Tommy disregards all of that and is only dating Buck because Buck is "innocent" in his eyes, then Tommy doesn't love him. Tommy fetishizes him, either because of the age gap or because Buck is a baby bi, or maybe both. Icky!!!

Also. Tommy leaves Buck because of "how bad it is dating Tommy"? Huh? So why does he tell Buck that Buck will end up breaking Tommy's heart and not the other way around? Did we watch the same episode? Or has it just been so long since they filmed it all the way back in September that Mr. LFJr just doesn't remember the scene?

The last paragraph is the best one, though. That just reads like straight up gaslighting. Tommy didn't dump Buck because Buck sent a "full on firing range of assault of bad words" (???) at Tommy. Buck wanted to get serious and Tommy bailed on him. Ah yes, true love.

I love how L*u tries to give this whole sob story about Tommy and why he dumped Buck the way he did, acting as if Tommy is all self-hating and insecure when that really isn't the case at all. Also, ew at the way he infantilizes Buck, because Buck is younger than him and because Buck just recently realized that he was bi. It's just so creepy. I also notice that he still refers to Buck as "Evan".

I never posted the full thing but here are the Bt 805/06 filming timeline with information gathered by pictures metadata:

aug 26 restaurant scout

aug 30 blue jacket Oliver story that turned out to be the Abby date outfit

sept 17 bt breakup

sept 18 lou’s story with the cemetery outfit

sept 30 mask loft scenes 

(Lou also just confirmed he filmed the breakup before the cemetery so I'm not tripping)

I have no way to confirm this part but since the firehouse scenes of 805 were filmed on sept 19 and the costumes were on the 20 along with the maddiejosh talk, I'm assuming they filmed the hospital scenes after the 21 and before the 29

“the breakup was bad writing” WHAT DO YOU MEANNNNNN?!?! the relationship was PEAK 9-1-1 writing yall just don’t like that it wasn’t written with tommy as endgame! they were always going to have troubles at micelli’s!! eddie was always going to haunt their narrative!! they never make it to the movie together!! tommy was always going to have to fight for a “spot” in buck’s life and the moment buck finally lets him in (ie he gets a good parking spot) he’s not willing to put in any work to keep it. he never learned that buck doesn’t like basketball he never indulged buck’s love of deep dives even in the breakup he called buck impulsive but the thing is buck isn’t impulsive by nature! he can be self destructive and throw himself into danger for others but actual decisions in his life are so often made by committee. the only time he acts impulsively is when he’s clinging to dying relationships. and he wouldn’t even call him by his name! the only time he calls him buck is right before he leaves when for ONCE he sees him completely. the bucktommy breakup was some of the best work the writers have done in a while im sorry that yall fell in love with a plot device and got mad that he was used as a device for the plot but the writers led you to the water it’s not their fault when you don’t drink
