There is also an example of an Olkari; whose face is unchanged but now is built similar to a praying mantis; a Puigian, who retains the approximate locations of the face markings and horns but looks more like some kind of deer creature; an Arusian, which is built like a snail; and a mer alien, which now looks like a fish with hands and antennae. The Olkari is based on Ryner, and the mer alien is Plaxum. End ID.]

¿Adora sigue siendo she-ra en tu au de adora general galra? Y si es así ¿como encuentra la espada?

Hola hermana! La respuesta en español está abajo! Yep, she's still She-Ra, but in her own... peculiar way.

We all know that Lotor and his generals, while they conquered planets, left them independent, Adora grew up with that in this AU, so it wouldn't be crazy if, at some point when Adora is older, they arrive to Etheria.

Many aspects of Etheria remain the same, the war with the Horde, Hordak, Shadow Weaver, etc. but without Adora as we know her, some aspects change.

For example, Catra becomes dependent on Ronnie, Rogelio and Kyle instead of Adora, to cover up her disasters. She is more favored than in the original universe and that made her an even worse person. A backstaber in a nutshell.

When Lotor and Company arrive, they make a deal with the revolution/Angela that in exchange for partial control of their planet, they would get rid of Hordak. Here Adora meets Bow and Glimmer just like in the original, but with her new personality it will take a long time for them to trust her.

Anyway, when they have to make a coordinated attack with the rebellion, Adora goes with Ezor and Zethrid to wait for their signal, and while she's bored, Adora wanders around the forest a bit and BOOM, she sees the sword.

This Adora probably didn't even think about the possibility of the sword being magic, she just saw an ancient relic and wanted it for herself.

Adora took the sword with her into battle and fought very well! However, when they returned to the Bright Moon base, Angela noticed that something about the sword was... unusual. So she called Bow's parents to examine it.

And, indeed, it was She-ra's sword.

I like to think that Adora only figured out how to Transform into She-ra when one of the generals was in danger (most specifically; Narti) and that instead of screaming "for the honor of Grayskull" she screams "victory or death"

Her She-ra outfit looks more like the one from season 5 than the one from the first seasons. And she has her sword in physical form because she likes to fight even without transforming.

Lotor will probably decide to study the heart of Etheria and LightHope on his own (finding some way to dismantle it) and you can bet that Adora is ready to kick some Horde ass.

And nope, Adora from this Au is not with Catra. In fact I think she would kill her but that's a topic for another post.

todos sabemos que Lotor y sus generales si bien conquistaban planetas les dejaban su independencia, Adora crecio con eso en este AU, por lo que no seria loco que, en algun momento cuando Adora ya es mayor, llegan a Etheria.

muchos aspectos de Etheria siguen igual, la guerra con la horda, Hordak, Shadow Weaver, etc. pero sin Adora como la conocemos cambian algunos aspectos.

Por ejemplo, Catra se hace dependiente de Ronnie, Rogelio y Kyle en vez de Adora, para cubrir sus desastres. ella es mas favorecida que en el universo original y eso la hizo aun peor persona. una backstaber en pocas palabras.

cuando Lotor y Compañía llegan, hacen un trato con la revolución/Angela de que a cambio del control parcial de su planeta, se desharian de Hordak. aqui Adora conoce a Bow y Glimmer como en la original, pero con su nueva personalidad les tomara muchoas tiempo a los chicos el confiar en ella.

Total, cuando hay que hacer un ataque cordinado con la rebelion, Adora va con Ezor y Zethrid a esperar su señal, y mientras esta aburrida, Adora diambula un poco por el bosque y POOM, ve la espada.

está Adora probablemente nisiquiera penso en la posibilidad de que la espada fuera magica, simplemente vio una reliquia antigua y la quiso para si misma.

Adora llevo la espada consigo a la batalla y peleo muy bien! sin embargo cuando volvieron a la base de luna brillante, Angela noto que algo en la espada era...inusual. asi que llamo a los padres de Bow para que la examinaran.

y, en efecto, era la espada de She-ra.

me gusta pensar que Adora solo descubrio como Transformarse en She-ra cuando alguna de las generales estaba en peligro (mas concertamente; Narti) y que en vez de gritar "por el honor de Grayskull" ella grita "victoria o muerte"

su atuendo de She-ra se parece mas al de la temporada 5 que el de las primeras temporadas. y tiene su espada en fisico porque a ella le gusta pelear incluso sin transformarse.

probablemente Lotor decida estudiar por su cuenta el corazon de Etheria y LitghHope (encontrando alguna manera de desmantelarla) y puedes apostar que Adora esta lista para patear traseros de la Horda.

y nop, Adora de este Au no esta con Catra. de hecho creo que la mataria pero eso es un tema para otro Post.

Coran nodded, "It seems that the red paladin's hybrid nature has altered the poison's effects. What for the full-blooded Galra would have proved deadly, for him is like an anti-inhibitor. It alters brain chemistry to remove any inhibitions, making it say whatever comes to mind. A sort of..." "Some kind of truth serum?" Hunk ended, his voice choked, in an almost adorable stammer. "Something like that, yes," the counsellor confirmed. ---- In which Keith is the victim of a failed attempt on his life, and when he wakes up, he can't help but say anything that comes to mind. And it seems that Lance has a fixed place in his thoughts.

Wulkir "Cutlass" Sturn

Despite the massive amount of recruits the Galra Empire has at its disposal there is a never-ending need for highly trained and well equipped soldiers across the universe to help conquer worlds and put down uprisings. As such it has become an extraordinarily profitable endeavor to get work as a mercenary with Private Militaries- or even more so to run one.

Jester Peace Solutions (better known simply as Jester or JPS) is commonly found in some of the more intense warzones across the universe and is well known by Galra soldiers for both their ability and their extreme brutality- to the enemy and civilians. They're largely considered incredible to have on your side, but to be kept at a safe distance.

The very embodiment of JPS is their founder Wulkir Sturn, callsign Cutlass. A decorated history as a Tracker in the Imperial Army abruptly ended after being captured and disfigured by an enemy force. Because of the visual importance many galra, men especially, put on their ears Wulkir was given the opportunity for an early discharge due to them being cut off at the base and a cut across his mouth leaving him with a permanent smile.

He took the opportunity and used his background as a Tracker to freelance as a mercenary with high tier PMCs, making a name for himself, networking, and setting aside enough money that, when combined with his discharge payout, allowed him to eventually found Jester Peace Solutions. With his reputation and connections he managed to bring in former Trackers and Raiders to his company. With his skillset from the Trackers they managed to set themselves apart as shock troops with an extraordinary ability for ambushing and sabotage, but it was their sheer brutality that cemented their reputation.

Wulkir especially gained notoriety for a 'no prisoners' attitude and would give survivors of enemy encounters exceptionally grizzly ends- including strapping them to the ends of anti-aircraft cannons, dragging them behind JPS vehicles, crushing them with breaching hammers, and many other methods that have found their way onto shady Empire networks. He's even been known to give similar ends to men who try to abandon Jester before their contracts expire- making them a very dependable company for the Empire to hire due to their low dropout rate.

klance sickfic but keith gets sick because they had a dinner at a planet that is very anti galra and the food was poisoned with a substance that only affects galra (and it's based on a time i got so sick that i threw up 40 times in the span of very few hours)

Lotor… what the fuck do I do with him for my rewrite. For such an interesting character, he got fucked over by the plot. I wish Lotor could be this anti-hero character. Team Voltron has to fight Lotor over the meteor because they need to make a new Lion, but Lotor wants the meteor for not quintessence energy. I don’t know what, but Lotor will try to be an ally for Team Voltron but Voltron has some bias against Galra. It’s Keith who helps Lotor become an ally to stop Honerva.

Something about Cairis is that she is paranormal.

She has uncontrollable "Knowing" - as she calls it. She receives predictive visions or flashes, but can't make them happen on command. Sometimes she's aware that it's happening; sometimes not. Usually when not aware, that means she's gone deep for something big and it'll surface eventually as 'bad feelings' about someone or something. For instance: Canon!Lotor would have her feeling like she needs to run screaming from him since he's anti-Galra in the extreme, but she'd have no obvious proof until he went off the rails.

Also: she's empathetic; picks up on 'vibes' AND projects, unconsciously. It's a damned shame, too, because to be an Empathic Galra is a nightmare of cruelty - but it does explain her reluctance to engage in physical or mental violence despite her ability to do such as needed. She CAN fight; she just doesn't WANT to. But when she does... she will do her best to put her opponent down hard and fast.

(Most info in the photo but heres a small breakdown of the story of the white lion:)

-so the one thing that really annoyed me about how Voltron was created was there was no prototype, they had no physical proof that the project would work, so here is the fix!

-The white lion was a prototype for the voltron project, and it is smaller and less finished than the other lions, however it was supposedly 'destroyed' when the other lions were sent away

-the trash planet that it was stored on lead a group of refugees, including a white paladin, to use it to protect themselves and create a safe place, near the edge of the known universe away from the Galra. this soon became a place full of refugees and soon a trade planet for rebellions and resistances, the views they follow mean that the planet is almost entirely cash-free and relys more on trade than buying.

Calyx

-Calyx is very anti-establishment and watches over the entry ways and trade route, making sure that theres no-one suspicious coming in or out, however upon inheriting the lion, they feel as if it wants to find the others, causing them to find Allura's castle and the others during the season 1 finale.

-the white lion relys mainly on stealth and tracking, so they stay in the background for a while

-Calyx also has mild chronic pain and uses a wheelchair sometimes, they also use braces and tech to ease the pain

Shiro is in the detainment room interrogating Sendak, who is still asleep in his pod.

"What was the first rank you held in Zarkon's army? Where did you find the Red Lion? What is the Zarkon's greatnes weakness?" Shiro hears Sendak's voice, becoming startled.

"What makes you think you can possibly defeat him?" Sendak's mouth isn't moving and he remains alseep.

"If you were to attack Zarkon, where would you strike?"

"Why strike at all when you can join him?" Shiro sees an image of Sendak awake, but the commander is still alseep.

Pidge and Hunk are in the Green Lion's hanger.

"I bet if we can modulate the dynamics of this crystal, we'll be able to reverse engineer a lot of Galra tech. Don't you think" Pidge doesn't get an answer and turns to see Hunk looking somewhere else "Hunk? Hunk, are you paying attention?"

"What?" Hunk turns around "No, I'm sorry. That whole food goo ambush really set me on edge, Pidge" Pidge walks over to the Crystal "If we can't trust food, we are lost as a culture"

"Relax. I'm sure the Castle's just glitchy. It's 10,000 years old"

"Yeah, it does seem like the ship is not currently trying to kill us.

"Okay, so, all the sensors are on the crystal. Hit the switch" Hunk goes over to the switch and before he can press anything, everything begins floating, including Hunk and Pidge "Hunk, did you accidentally hit the anti-gravity switch?"

"Uh, no. There's no anti-gravity switch. Uh, is there?" Hunk asks. Pidge tries to reach for the crystal before giving up "Curse my short arms.

"Oh, I hate those little things! All right, forget it, Pidge. I'm going to swim towards you. Just hand on!" Hunk begins to 'swim' towards Hunk, but he doesn't move "That's it. I'm all out of moves" Hunk's stomach rumbles "Oh, I'm hungry again. I hope some food goo comes oozing out of these walls"

Lance is banging on the door to the airlock.

"Help! Help! Help!"

"....12,11,10..." Keith runs around the corner, bayard in hand as the Gladiator robot is still after him "...9,8,7..." Keith is kicked back to the door.

"Keith!" Lance shouts, as Keith stands up.

"...6..5..."

"What are you doing in there?" Keith asks. Lance points the Gladiator robot that swings at Keith, who dodges.

"I need help! Because if you don't get me out of here right now, I'm going to be sucked out into space!"

"Doors opening" The Airlock doors open and Lance holds on tight.

"I'm getting sucked out into space" Keith fights the Gladiator before turning his gaze to the button for the airlock. He pushes the Gladiator back as he pushes the button with his bayard. The door opens and the Gladiator is pulled into space "Keith! Keith, come on!" Keith grabs Lance's hand and pulls him to safety, before closing the door. They sit down, breathing heavily.

"What were you doing out there?"

"Who was that guy?"

"He was trying to kill me!"

"Well, is he the Castle? Because that's who's trying to kill me!" They then hear a noise and turns to look, getting ready to attack. As it comes around the corner they go to attack, before seeing that it's Soul.

"Huh, Soul?" Keith asks, he puts his bayard away "What are you doing here? Where's Y/N?" Soul starts acting out what's happening to Y/N, but they don't get it.

"What? Has something happened to Y/N" Soul nods "What! Where?!" Soul runs away, and the two follow.

Y/N is now touching the ceiling as the water is up to her neck.

"This is how I'm gonna die! In a freaking bathroom!" Y/N hears footsteps, then banging on the door.

"Y/N!"

"You in there!"

"Lance! Keith! Oh thank god! Guys I'm stuck, and the rooms about to be filled with water!"

"Okay, hang on, we'll get you out of there" Lance starts banging on the door, trying to break it down. Y/N takes a deep breath before the water fills the whole room. She looks around the room to find anything to help breath with.

"Y/N!" Lance shouts, he gets no answer "Y/N!" Y/N begins to lose consciousness. Keith gets his bayard out.

"Stand back" Keith slashes the door with his bayard and the water pours out, as well as a soaking Y/N. She lays still as they turn her onto her back. Soul goes next to her head and pushes her head to the side, which stays.

"Y/N...?" They wait a second before Y/N starts coughing up water. Lance and Keith share a look of relief, before helping her sit up. Lance takes off his coat and puts it around Y/N.

"What the hell happened" Keith asks.

"The d-door just locked and the pipes burst...God, I nearly died in a bathroom" Soul jumps into Y/N lap and Y/N pets her head "If it wasn't for her, I would have been dead" Y/N looks at Lance and Keith "This may sound stupid, but I think the Castle's haunted"

"Ya think!" Lance says. They stand up and begins to walk away.

Pidge and Hunk are still floating around in the Green Lion's hangar.

"Wait. Wait, wait. I have an idea" Pidge holds out her hand "Grab on!" They both reach for each others hand before they grab on.

"Yeah! We did it! Now, what?" Hunk asks.

"Now, kick me as hard as you can!"

"What? No, we're friends"

"No, no. Kick me so I can fly across the room and get to the control panel"

"Oh...oh, oh!" Hunk kicks Pidge and she goes towards the control pannel, but misses it "No, no, no!" The door then opens, making Hunk and Pidge fall to the ground. Lance, Y/N, Soul , Coran and Keith enter.

"How can you guys be taking a nap while this castle is trying to kill us?" Lance asks.

"Taking a nap! We've been floating around in Zero G? You know how scary that is?"

"That's not scary! That's fun! I was almost ejected into space!"

"I got attacked by killed food, and that's the most horrifying thing you can imagine! The stuff of nightmares! It'll haunt me to my grave!"

"Well, I had a robot trying to kill me!"

"And I nearly drowned, in a bathroom! I mean, ironic much!" Lance looks to Coran.

"I don't care what you say, Coran. This castle has gone apple and bananas!" Coran groans.

"Perhaps the infection from Sendak's Galra crystal is worse than we thought"

"Well, let's get rid of it" Hunk says.

"It's too late. When Sendak plugged it into the ship, it corrupted the entire system"

"Sendak?" Keith asks.

"Wait" Y/N says "Has anyone seen Shiro?"

Shiro is still staring at Sendak.

"We're connected, you and me. Both part of the Galra Empire"

"No! I'm not like you"

"You've been broken and reformed. Just look at your hand" Shiro does so.

"That's not me!"

"It's the strongest part of you. Embrace it. The others don't know what you are. They haven't seen what you've seen. Face it. You'll never beat Zarkon. He's already defeated you"

"I'm not listening to you!" Shiro covers his ears.

"Do you really think a monster like you could be a Voltron Paladin? Even your own sister is disgusted in you"

"Stop it!" Shiro punches the Pod, cracking it. Sendak's eyes open and smiles evily at Shiro, making him panic and push a buttom to send Sendak out. Alarms start blaring. Shiro bends down, breathing heavily. Later, the Paladins, Soul and Coran enter the containment room to see Shiro holding his head.

"Shiro, are you okay?" Y/N asks, touching his arm. He flinches away and she looks at him saddened.

"Where's Sendak?" Keith asks.

"I...I had to get him out of here. I was hearing his voice. He...He can't be trusted on this ship"

"It is the ship! I got stick in a cryo-pod, then, in an airock. Keith got attacked by a robot. Y/N nearly drowned, and Hunk and Pidge got attacked by food. It's been a weird morning" Computes begin beeping as a hologram of the ship appears/

"What? How is that possible?"

"What is it?" Keith asks.

"The ship is starting a wormhole jump!"

The Paladins, Coran and Soul enter the main deck to see Allura at the center.

"Allura, what's going on?" Shiro asks.

"We're going to Altea" Alura turns her head to face them "We're going home. My father is taking us" They rush forwards before King Alfor face appears on the screens. (Red-Bad King Alfor. Blue - Good King Alfor)

"Stay away from my daughter!"

"Uh..."

"Allura, wake up!" Y/N shouts.

"The crystal must have corrupted King Alfor's artificial intelligence. It's taking over!" King Alfor appears next to Allura. They reach their destination, staring in horror.

"We're heading straight for a star and it's about to explode!"

"Father, I can see Altea" Coran goes to the barrier, and puts his hand on it.

"Allura! Allura, wake up! What you're seeing isn't real" Allura turns her head to face Coran before seeing some creatures fly past her. She smiles before seeing a meadown filled with flowers.

"The juniberried, the most exquisite flower of all" Allura picks one up.

"Allura, please!" A hologram of Coran appears "You've got to listen to me!"

"Is this real?" Allura asks.

"Of course it is real, Daughter. That flower you're touching is real"

"But where is the fragrance of the sweet juniberries?" Coran says, making Allura sniffs the flower again before coming back to reality.

"Huh? That's not Altea"

"When that star goes supernova, it will destroy the entire system. Allura, you must reset the course and get us out of here" Pidge says and Allura goes to the controls but is electrocuted back out of the barrier, caught by Shiro. King Alfor appears.

"Father, please, I beg you to turn this ship around. If we don't do it soon, we will all perish!"

"I know. That is my intention"

"What? Why?"

Don't you see, dear daughter? Zarkon can never be defeated. He's been ruling for ten thousand years"

"But we must continue to fight!"

"Fight for what? It is all over for Altea. You don't have to live a lifetime of war. You can be with me and the rest of your people"

"Father, please! The paladins and I can still stop Zarkon! Somewhere in there, you must want that to happen"

"Allura, my A.I. has been corrupted. You must disconnect my power source" It flickers back "We can stroll across the Blossom Canyon every morning, just like we used to. Remember how much you loved that?"

"I remember. I'll see you soon, Father" Allura turns around "I've got to get into the A.I. chamber to disconnect my father's power source manually"

"But that means losing King Alfor forever!"

"Paladins, get to your Lions! I need you to slow the Castle's descent into the star"

"I can try to override the sytem to open the hangars" Allura and the Paladins leave the control room, leaving Coran and Soul. The Lions comes out of the hangars and push against the ship, using their thrusters.

Allura makes it to the A.I room and goes to the center.

"Don't do this!" King Alfor says.

"You must"

"All my memories, all my knowlegde will be lost forever!"

"Do it, Allura. If you are to live, we must say goodbye"

"I'm sorry about this, Father" Allura goes to touch the container but everything blackens. "Huh?"

"Oh, my dear daughter..." Allura hears laughter and looks over at a memory of her and her father.

"Father..." She looks around to see memories of her and her father, young. Her childhood memories.

"This is not real. This is all in the past" Allura runs through the memories till she stares at the one of her father holding her when she was a baby, her baby laughter filling her ears. She begins crying. King Alfor appears.

"You don't have to fight, Allura. You don't have to make this sacrifice" Allura rushes forward and hugs her father, surprising him.

"Goodbye, Father" King Alfor smiles softly.

"Goodbye Allura" The glass container smashes, as all of King Alfor's memories fade away. Soul, who found her way to the room, goes next to Allura, placing her paw onto her leg. Allura looks to the creature and picks her up, hugging Soul while crying.

"She did it" Coran says, seeing the barrier go away. Alarms start blaring. and the Paladins are still pushing the ship back when Allura's face appears on their screens.

"Paladins, get to your hangars. We're getting out of here" They return to their hangars and they escape through the wormhole just as the star explode. Later, they are all in the control room. Allies is sat down, Coran and Shiro on either side as the Paladins are in front of her

"I'm so sorry about your father, Princess" Shiro says.

"We all are" Y/N adds.

"I'm so sorry about your father Princess"

"Thank you. But that was not my father" Allura stands up "The real King Alfor was a great man and a great father. He may not be here with is anymore, but his dream lives on through all of us, and his legacy is Voltron"

Hours later, when everyone has went to bed. Shiro is in the control room, looking into space. He the sound of the door opening, but doesn't turns around.

"What are you doing up so late?" A voice says. They sit next to him and he turns his head to see Y/N.

"Thinking. You?"

"Soul may be small but she's a loud snorer" Shiro chuckles "So watcha thinking about?" Shiro sighs, looking back into Space.

"Just what Sendak said" Y/N looks at him with a frown.

"What did he say?" Shiro's eyes tear up, but he refuses to cry "Shiro? Hey, it's okay-"

"He called me a monster...that I shouldn't be leader of Voltron" Shiro says "He said that even you're disgusted in me" Y/N's smiles softly.

"And you shouldn't believe that for one second" Shiro looks to her and goes to talk but Y/N stops him "I don't care what you look like Shiro, you are my brother. That piece of metal doesn't make me think of you any less" Shiro looks down at his arm.

"But I killed people..."

"You killed them so that you could survive" Y/N sighs "Do you trust me?" Shiro looks at Y/N with confusion.

"What?"

"Do you trust me?"

"Yes" Y/N takes Shiro's metal hand and places it around her neck "What, what are you doing?!"

"Squeeze" She states. Shiro looks at her in horror "Squeeze as hard as you can" Shiro pulls his hand away quickly, staring at her hard.

"Why did you do that for? I could have hurt you?"

"If you really are a monster, then you would have squeezed my neck, I gave you an easy chance and a monster would have took it, no hesitation" Shiro looks at her "Your not a monster, Shiro. Your just a man who's been broken... and needs someone to help fix him" Y/N says "You may be a pain in my butt sometimes, but your my brother. And I wouldn't change you for the universe" Y/N is suddenly hugged by a teary Shiro.

"I love you" Shiro says, hugging her tight. Y/N hugs back, smiling softly.

"I love you, too" The siblings watch the stars, knowing that as long as they are together, nothing will happen.

Few things: You said a Infinity Stone would only "temporarily" fend off Galactus, and he'd pursue a planet even if it teleported away. So what would it take to get him to back off permanently? You'd have to find a way to get through to him and convince him it would be in his best interests to spare your world...somehow. Unless you're a Celestial (or have access to the power of one, such as the collected Infinity Stones), power alone ain't gonna do it.

In the simplest of terms, the Forever Knights are pro-human and anti-magic and aliens. Creatures like demigods and sorcerers are thus a bit of a conundrum - they're at least partially human (and usually powerful individuals, at that), yet they're "tainted" by magic.

The Knights aren't just monster hunters - everything of magic is considered suspect at best, and a danger to be eradicated more often than not. Scores of innocent magical creatures have been slain or imprisoned over the centuries, just for being magical. Still, they're smart enough to know that sometimes you're forced to fight fire with fire - that's why some of them are trained in the use of Eldritch magic and various other arcane defenses. Demigods carry an inherent danger to themselves because (regardless of any choices to the contrary later in life, or any genuine love from their godly parent) they're ultimately created to serve as agents of a god's will. They serve to empower and extend their parent's influence in both the mundane and magical worlds - even if they never go on a quest, they're still likely to slay monsters and generally act in a way that honors or at least expresses their godly side.

If the Knights had their way, they would eliminate any and all gods, spirits, and monsters. As this is currently beyond their capabilities, they have to prioritize and strategize, make their strikes count. Killing a demigod would be a blow, but if you can recruit them, slowly corrupt them against their divine parent...there's much greater potential for damage there. That's why I say it's a case by case basis - not every demigod is susceptible to their influence, in which case it's better to kill them, but they will reach out to demigods who might be dissatisfied or angry with their lot in life.

this is such a good question and thinking about what we could have seen instead of the evil alteans, i think there's two things to consider: one, what did Allura, our Allura, need to see or to learn by crossing over into that alternate reality at that point in the story, and two, what would need to happen to her character that would create an "evil" Allura.

i think you could write a version of Hole in the Sky that takes place in a universe not that different from the main VLD continuity, in which instead of waking up to the paladins arriving, Allura wakes up alone. maybe Coran is dead, maybe he never got frozen, or maybe she couldn't wake him from his cryogenesis. either way, she's awake, ten thousand years into the future, the galra have taken over the universe, and she doesn't have voltron or its paladins.

Allura's goodness is at the core of her character, but so is her rage and grief. i think in the event that you have an Allura who is truly isolated and alone, with no allies and no resources, you have the recipe for an Allura that is a lot more cutthroat. not evil, per se, but pushed to a place where she has to make harsher choices, deadlier ones. a truly isolated Allura is a recipe for a vigilante version of Allura, an anti-hero Allura.

this works a lot better in the context of our Allura coming across a version of reality that is different from the main continuity, because the lesson she gets to learn is not some half-baked cautionary tale about "becoming as bad as the enemy". it's a genuine, honest look at the places that isolation, loneliness, and grief could push her, and it shows her the important role that the paladins and the team play in her life. it fits thematically a lot better coming off the lion swap, because it shows Allura the value that the team has, and would push her into realizing that accepting the team and integrating into it is what she has to do. which in turn fits much better into her overall arc of learning to love and trust and find belonging again after the loss of altea.

also, we would get to see badass anti-hero Allura on our screens. i know in my soul she has an eyebrow scar, and is the hottest thing that any of us have ever seen.

The steady beating of a heart monitor was the only sound in the infirmary aside from the occasional sound of quiet footsteps or the sink running while (Y/n) cleaned up a little. She had only one patient in the infirmary room of the ship she worked on, one who was very lucky to be alive; Trugg had been recovered from Ranveig's base and judging by her injuries she'd been attacked by some kind of beast. Whatever it was, it was long gone by the time (Y/n) and her crew had shown up. Trugg had been the only survivor of whatever attacked her and her crew; those who were dead were sent back to their home colonies for proper burials or cremation. (Y/n) had always admired Trugg and it was a huge honor to have been able to save her, although she hoped that she would survive.

Unfortunately the only healing pod had been malfunctioning lately and (Y/n) had to put Trugg on life support, thankfully she'd been taught by her mentor how to heal people the old fashioned way. A couple of days had passed since Trugg was brought to the infirmary and it wouldn't be very long before she woke up, or at least (Y/n) hoped it wouldn't be very long. While (Y/n) cleaned up a few things her ears twitched backwards when she thought that she heard something, but when the young galra woman turned around she saw that Trugg was still asleep. She sighed, then she promptly went back to cleaning some of her medical tools and the counters. Until Trugg woke up (Y/n) had plenty of time to think about how she would greet the commander, what all she would say and how she would explain what happened and how to tell Trugg how she ended up in the infirmary.

When the beast Ranveig had been experimenting on had attacked Trugg, she thought she was as good as dead, especially since it had attacked her first. However, before it could finish her off it saw her crew and went after them, killing each person until it left the base in search of more victims. The first thing Trugg registered was a steady faint beeping sound that seemed to get louder as she regained consciousness, it didn't occur to her that she was in an infirmary until she opened her left eye only to close it again because the lights were too bright; she tried opening her right eye, but it had to be removed due to how damaged it was after the anti-galra chimera attacked her. (Y/n) promptly turned around again when she heard a slight groan, quickly realizing Trugg was finally waking up. She rushed to the bed the commander laid on and patiently waited to see if she could talk; (Y/n) dimmed the lights so Trugg could open her left eye and not get blinded by the lights.

“Commander Trugg; you're awake. Are you able to speak?” (Y/n) spoke calmly so as not to frighten her patient, even though on the inside she was extremely happy that Trugg finally woke up.

“Where am I; how did I get here? And who are you?” Trugg questioned, her throat feeling incredibly dry and scratchy when she spoke.

“You're aboard The Untouchable Bandit, Ma'am; my crew found you laying almost dead in Ranveig's base. My name is (Y/n), I'm a doctor.” (Y/n) answered before she introduced herself to Trugg, the only thing she left out was that she was a part of a crew of neutral galra.

“I can't feel my left leg or my right eye.” Trugg said as she began to feel the rest of her body, except for her missing eye and leg, thinking that they must have still been numb.

“Your left leg was mangled and I had to remove it and your right eye, they couldn't be saved; I'm sorry.” (Y/n) informed her; she understood that it could be hard for someone to lose parts of their body, luckily with time she would be able to replace Trugg's eye and leg with prosthetics.

Trugg just laid there, processing the information she'd been given; she'd already guessed that she no longer had her right eye, but she wasn't expecting to no longer have her left leg. (Y/n) took the opportunity to get a hydration pack out of one of the cupboards along with some of her medical tools so she could give the female commander a quick checkup. Trugg accepted the hydration pack and drank the entire thing quickly, desperately needing its nutrients and to wet her dry throat. She still had a concussion that needed more time to heal and she would most definitely have some ptsd, as well as a possible fear of animals, although (Y/n) planned on taking care of Trugg throughout her entire recovery. After (Y/n) gave Trugg a checkup and told her the diagnosis she accepted the doctor's help; that, and she thought (Y/n) was cute in a way she'd never seen with other galra.

“Thank you.” Trugg muttered when she averted her gaze slightly; she wasn't used to expressing her gratitude for others, but even though she felt awkward to be doing so she wanted to thank (Y/n) for taking care of her.

(Y/n) beamed a smile at Trugg and assured her that she didn't mind helping her throughout her recovery; (Y/n) had a secret crush on the female commander, but she refused to let it get any farther than a little crush because she needed to keep things professional. She went to another cupboard, but instead of grabbing a nutrition bar she got a package of her favorite jerky for Trugg to eat, not wanting her patient to eat something so bland. Trugg thanked her for the snack and ate it without hesitation, her stomach growling in hunger as soon as she smelled the dry meaty scent. Her recovery would be long and she wouldn't be able to walk until her prosthetic leg was finished being made and then attached to the short stump that was left after her real leg had been amputated. Trugg was glad that (Y/n) would be the one who helped her recover, even though she wasn't used to anyone taking care of her.

(Y/n's) original plan was to simply help Trugg recover and then send her on her way after she got used to her prosthetic eye and leg, but during Trugg's recovery time they became close and eventually caught feelings for each other. (Y/n) would have never guessed that Trugg could ever have romantic tendencies towards her until she began courting her after the prosthetics arrived and were installed. Being courted by her favorite commander was (Y/n's) biggest dream, and after they became a couple she was living out her dream. Recovering took a long time and so did getting used to having a prosthetic eye and leg, Trugg was glad that (Y/n) was there for her every step of the way. In the end, she developed a fear of large animals after the incident at Ranveig's base, which was to be expected considering that she'd almost been killed by one; she was fine around small animals, but big ones terrified her.

Panic attacks, flashbacks and nightmares were normal for Trugg; as time went on they didn't happen quite as often, nevertheless when they did happen (Y/n) was there to comfort her. During one night in particular Trugg was having a mixture of a nightmare and a flashback, one that had her paralyzed in her sleep. The nightmare was terrifying, to say the least, and even though Trugg wanted to wake up she wasn't able to. The sight of the chimera in her nightmare was so realistic and so was the memory of its roar, she wasn't aware that she began crying in her sleep. In her nightmare, when the beast charged straight towards her with open jaws Trugg bolted upright and screamed, her eye shooting open while the other one onlined; she startled (Y/n) who had been completely unaware that she'd had a nightmare, and when (Y/n) heard her significant other scream she immediately woke up.

“I'm here, everything's okay.” (Y/n) whispered soothingly when she realized why Trugg had woken up with a scream; she wrapped her arms around her midsection and began purring, hoping to help her calm down.

Trugg took a few deep breaths as she processed where she was and what was going on; the nightmare seemed so real given that it was also a flashback, it took a few minutes for her to get her breathing under control. (Y/n) just sat there, tightly hugging Trugg whilst promising her that she was alright and that she wasn't in danger anymore. The retired commander eventually processed that (Y/n) was hugging her, and that in itself helped her feel better.

“I- I'm sorry. I'm sorry.” Trugg mumbled with a horrified tone, feeling terrible for waking her lover up, and even though a lot of time had passed she still felt guilty for getting her entire crew killed.

“I know, and I'm here for you. Nothing's here to hurt you, and even if it was I would cut it down before it could harm a single hair on your head.” (Y/n) crooned, pressing herself closer to Trugg to comfort her.

Trugg glanced down at her significant other and began to feel a little better, although she was still too frightened to say anything. A few moments later (Y/n) let go of Trugg so they could lay down, only when they did she spooned Trugg from behind so she could continue comforting her. Right before Trugg fell asleep she whispered her gratitude for the comfort, she would always be grateful to have such an understanding lover. (Y/n) wished that there was some way for her to permanently heal her significant other's mind because she disliked having to see her suffer from her trauma, alas all she could do was comfort her when she panicked. Trugg felt safe with (Y/n) spooning her from behind, with her petite girlfriend there to protect her she would always be safe.

the way lance's character was so inconsistent and even with the one line defining his motivation nothing was done about it. they gave that earth arc to hunk which wouldnt have been a problem if they even established a single thing about hunks backstory EARLIER IN THE SHOW. buildup and payoff just got so wacky with most of these characters. even pidge who got through most of her challenges earlier on was teased/implied in SEASON 8, THE LAST SEASON, to have a thing for lance. WHAT!!! not to mention the absolute insanity to make allurance canon which again wouldnt have been a problem IF they established allura even giving a single fuck about lance. also everything about how shiros disability and ptsd were handled past season 2 was just kinda ignored? AND the way the flashback scene with adam was dubbed over and any implication that theyre a couple was erased. just actually most things about shiro were just ignored INCLUDING probably his most significant relationship since we had no flashback scenes to significant living family members or relationships WITH KEITH HIS BROTHER????? what the fuck? past the clone fight nothing about that mattered anymore which was really bizarre. what was even more bizarre was killing off zarkon THE LEADER OF THE GALRA EMPIRE HEAD HONCHO AND MAIN VILLAIN in the middle of season 4 to very little fanfare by a character we had BARELY gotten acquainted with. no problem with haggar/honerva taking the lead as head villain if that hadnt fucking happened but it did and her motivation was fucking ass, AND ALSO lotors character we were introduced to as an anti hero/revolutionary being taken out back and shot FOR NO REASON. the lesbians and their friend were great i wish they had more time. i also just remembered they kinda tried to make keith and acxa a thing and basically no one in the fandom went for it LOL. Belost and a lot of galra, even a lot of non-Galra citizens of the Merrick Prime Republic, have a burning hatred of the paladins.

The galra spent thousands of years conquering nearly all of the universe. That means generations on top of generations of constant war. Fathers, sons, daughters, friends, husbands, etc who died or were completely changed from fighting in the name of the Galra Empire and unifying the universe for the first time in history. All for that to be completely undone by a group of aliens who trusted the first deposed ruler they found.

Not only that but total economic collapse of the universe caused by destroying the near universe-wide government, the chaos and death caused by warlords rising up in the power vacuum, the destruction of logistical routes and more than likely a loss of technology or at the very least a massive disruption of supply chains, and a guarantee of anti-galra lynch mobs across the universe.

A majority of the Merrick Prime Republic's success was simply its existence as a relatively economically stable government with enough military power to secure its territory and restore order to nearby systems. It also means it's filled to the brim with refugees from planets that are no longer livable thanks to Voltron's intervention.

It's why the Merrick Prime Republic considers Voltron a hostile entity and has announced in no uncertain terms that Voltron entering MPR territory is considered an act of war. They know if Zarkon and the Empire couldn't defeat Voltron then they most likely can't defeat it themselves either. But Theron has created multiple plans for total widespread destruction of Voltron-allied planets in the event that it should cross their territory. There is only one Voltron but there are many ships in the MPR fleet.

Yes. Fandom did magnify a show, made it better with headcannons gave everyone higher expectations took tweets and took things out of context. But the fact that voltron killed Shiro, had no intention of bringing him back THEN said he was gay making him the rep? The character they killed? Blaytz and the Galra who flirted with each other in a flashback, killed as well. And Adam, in a teaser trailer showing JUST the fight and breakup Shiro and he had, so for months before the realease the fandom made fanart and fanfiction and then people watch it just thinking there's going to be tension, they still fight and don't get back together-

No Adam dies, second episode in. So why show him in a trailer to kill him off? WHy raise everyones expectations?

As someone who watched it for the plot only, even I was like "Voltron THATS your idea of Rep? Killing of the gays? really?" Even as someone who didn't even want ships coz DUH it was a kids show, I wasn't expecting anything only Rebecca Sugar was blatant and upfront about representation but Voltron was kinda all over the place about it so I was fine with NO ONE getting together in the show but even THAT was a wtf moment.

And why introduce characters like Matt, Romelle and Adam just to drop them later? The whole show is so pointless after season 3.

But I'm annoyed that the voltron crew is never blamed for their miscommunication as well as going out the way to be so cruel to the fans who genuinly wanted a good show making it feel as if the backlash was justified by the bullshit they gave us.

Yes. Shippers ruined Voltron. YES Voltron is a prime example of "This is why we can't have nice things."

But the creators/writers and even the media advertising Voltron as a progressive show were not blameless either.

Also if you're a new fan who just watched Voltron DO NOT go looking into the Drama. If you like the show be the change and don't bring back the toxicity because people will get reminded and took back to 2018 mentally and have to defend themselves over BS that is OVER.
