well.... we know that boruto took care of nh by putting thousands of fillers where they are a happy family and naruto feels comfortable being there

boruto, like sarada, is responsible for letting you know that both naruto and sasuke are not interested in their relatives or how they feel about their absence at home

At the beginning, boruto is like a hyena with rage because his father does not spend time at home, he misses important dates like birthdays and does not have time for him, he also doesn't have time for his wife because at sasuke's call, naruto ran away and didn't want any of her food, which was sent by his son.

crticism is fine, but again, them being criticized by nh is funny because again

boruto also looks for a way to know why his father is not in the house, unlike sarada who cries, boruto gets angry and wants to hit and criticize naruto for this, And like sarada, boruto also seeks explanations from his mother, because she is supposed to be the closest person to his father.... or not?

Idk why the "Naruhina family" fans talk sometimes. Some of them literaly hate Sarada for some reasons (mostly stupid ships). And they come with excuses like "Sarada only wants to become hokage because she admires Naruto" or "she's so obsessed with Boruto she started to wear something with the same fabric as him" to hate on her... And I have only one question for them "What about Boruto ??".

You can make very similar arguments for Boruto. He wants to become the shadow hokage (that title is still ridiculous, I can't) because he admires Sasuke. And he admires Sasuke so much that he literally started to style himself on Sasuke, from his cape, to his weapon and his hairstyle (during the timeskip). Even his attitudes are reminiscent of Sasuke. Seriously...

Respectfully... No. I have no opinions on it except for hatred because what in the actual fuck is going with this series? This is what fanfiction looks like when given a 50 dollar budget for the entire series.

The art? Horrendous, don't get me started on the women's design.

The story? Ridiculous in a bad way.

The characters? Trash. THAT IS NOT SASUKE, SOMEONE TOOK HIS SKIN AND ACTED LIKE HE IS SASUKE!

The pacing? Horrible, how is that 70% filler doing you?

The fans? It took them nearly a decade for it to get slightly meh for them to be on Boruto's dick constantly.

What do you think of people who want to ship InoSumi to the point of splitting Sumire to Sumi + Re so Sumi can be written with kanji for inkstones to match Inojin?

Context, I took up Japanese lessons and while I only took up Hiragana and Katakana, I read about kanji and started practicing to type it, even researching ways to do it properly. For Sumire, using it as a name is only limited to this kanji, 菫, which means violet. Since kanji is tricky, celebs and famous people use either this, すみれ（hiragana) or スミレ (katakana). I had to explain this first since it frustrates me to see Japanese get used erroneously. So, I would like to ask your opinion about this. Thanks in advance.

it’s Sumire. With subtitles, they don’t write “Sumi re” and the characters don’t say “Sumi re”. it’s all one word.

you can’t shorten a character a character’s name for your own benefit.

and if we’re talking about shortening names, I’ve seen a few ppl say Sarada’s name was supposed to be Sara, without the “da” at the end. which that means “princess”/“pure”. just something I picked up on.

Sumire won’t match Inojin and besides, barely any Naruto/Boruto couple ends up with their names being connected.

Hinata: towards the sun

Naruto: maelstrom/roaring gate

Sakura: cherry blossom

Sasuke: assistant/help

it’s about THEIR connection, their relationship.

Hinata had a connection to Naruto because of both being Otsutsuki descendants.

Sumire has a connection to Boruto because of Nue, Kaguya Otsutsuki’s beast. and Boruto is a vessel.

where’s Inojin in this?

and Sumire basically has become a main character since ts started because she’s immune. so the main couples don’t have “matching” name meanings.

if we’re talking about the ship itself and not the names, it still doesn’t work out because they’ve got to be some kind of bond there beforehand (ChoKarui with the exception). they barely interact for four eps after graduation.

but yeah, I take Japanese classes and that’s why I find these ppl stupid.

I’ve seen a lot of ppl’s blogs (so dedicated to the ship InoSumi, half of them were bsa shippers so that says a lot) saying about the name shortening and that’s how it originally was before the subtitles ruined it by having Sumire as one word and not two like it was “originally”.

personally for me, I originally thought her name was two words when I first watched the anime because I hadn’t read the manga yet. it was the way the characters had pronounced (in both dub and sub. I watch it in both to get a grasp on their voices and what difference in their words than originally) it, especially Namida. I can’t blame them, it does sound like two words, but given the subtitles and if you search up, Sumire is one word.

my fav Japanese name is Sumire, not because of Sumire in the anime/manga, but because I like violets and purple. that’s why I was drawn to Sumire and because of her personality. that’s why I don’t like them disrespecting her like that and only using her as a tool for shipping.

Well, thank the stars I was never actually interested in Naruto/Boruto one bit especially after finding out the horrendous double standards of how characters were treated by the fans. We’ve got the murder/genocide apologists of fans defending certain villains.

And I thought bad fanfics and shipping wars were frequent online but the double standards of how certain characters should act takes the cake! Now I see why one fanfic writer said he deleted his Naruto fic(s) due to the rampant toxicity and absolutely refused to put them back up. Since he’s now focusing on his Danny Phantom AUs, he hardly got any cruel comments there.

Guess it’s one of those times where my gut feeling said “don’t go to that turf or else you’ll regret it forever!” And I listened to that instinct since I was a teen, never ever touching a Naruto fanwork or canon media even though I had some classmates glaze/praise the franchise.

The worse canon is written, the worse the community is going to act even if there’s fan content that are “canon fixers” without the character bashing. I mean that is the most obvious cause and effect but I guess some people are literally braindead and stupid.

we agree that sasuke/naruto do not love their wives, but for people it is very cruel just to think that they do not love their children, especially since sns fans love boruto or sarada so much

but honestly I couldn't blame the naruto fan for thinking that they don't love their children, it's just a matter of looking at their actions with them

sasuke leaves the village abandoning sarada when she was already in the world, even though he can communicate with her, he never does. but he can do it when it comes to naruto, sasuke sends his falcon to notify him of information or if naruto is injured and is far away, sasuke can quickly teleport to where he is, but he never did this with sarada and she suffers because she never met her father, But when he does, these are sasuke's faces

she is his daughter, right? who he has not seen for 12 years, we should think that he would be happy but he is not happy when he sees her, even for not feeling her chakra he almost killed her, everything gets worse when sarada starts to question him, why he is never home or if he is connected to his mother, and if he really is his father

something curious about this is that like sarada, chocho has the same doubt, which is immediately answered by chouji without a word, but sasuke is uncomfortable and annoyed with this question And he gives sarada short and dry answers that have nothing to do with what she is asking

why does he just tell her that he is her father so he can calm her crying? sarada cries, screams for answers but he is simply serious and does not want to answer her

but, when boruto does exactly the same thing as sarada but with naruto, sasuke has no problem helping him and calming him down, it's something to think about

naruto was present in boruto's life exactly until he was about 7/8 years old, after that, he simply disappeared into an office where he doesn't want to see his family or his son.

naruto was going to abandon his entire family, sasuke once again had to save naruto's family by telling him to stay in the villageIf it weren't for that, boruto and himawari would suffer the same as sarada

although exactly, you don't know which one is worse, sarada meeting sasuke after not seeing him for 12 years could choose whether to love him or not, boruto knows who his father is, this was present until simply one day he decided to abandon it without wanting to see it

Just think about how you would feel if you recognized your father, you know who he is, he is very close to you, but he simply does not want to see you or the family

Just like sarada, when boruto is in the office to question naruto and why he doesn't want to see them, naruto's face is uncomfortable, he doesn't answer boruto's questions either, just choose to ignore them and talk about other things

you look at their faces, boruto is really angry with his father, he is yelling and hating and he is also sad

but he also just looks at naruto's faces, he's not interested and he's tired of wanting to reassure Boruto but at the same time not seeing him

the saddest thing that happens with boruto is when he talks to his mother about how naruto could even send a clone for himawari, but he never sent anything with him. which indicates that boruto spent his birthdays without his father, again, naruto is not on any mission, he is close to his family, why doesn't he go?

and the abandonment is so much that boruto literally puts too much pressure on himself in the hope that his father can recognize him and spend time by his side

boruto is happy with a few crumbs from naruto, so much so that he pushes himself to earn another smile from Naruto, committing a trap where well...We already know what happens

how cute, right? such tender scenes *sarcasm*

sasuke doesn't want to comfort sarada, but he has time to comfort boruto, a boy who is not his son but reminds him of his best friend, naruto has no time for boruto and comfort him, but he has plenty of time to comfort sarada and let her know that her father is her father, and so that she doesn't hate her mother, he talks to her about connections and not blood ties

(pst, something very ? is that in the end, boruto is left with a father figure, which is sasuke. but sarada doesn't end up with anyone because naruto ends up focusing on an abandoned child and ignores the others)

but among all this grief there are some very good moments between them and their children, you know, naruto is heartbroken to know that boruto "dies", naruto is proud when he knows that boruto went to his ninja fights, after asking for forgiveness from boruto, he is a little more with him, training with him (ignores that he is with boruto because kawaki is at home)

sasuke hugs his daughter, but then pushes her away but ignores that, talks to her, shows pride when he sees his daughter's strength, and accepts without measure when she herself is worried about boruto

If you ask, I don't think they hate them, they just feel uncomfortable with their existence, after all they are their children but they are shared with those two stalker girls and that of course they were forced to be with them

they don't hate them, it's just that they are uncomfortable with the presence of children who remind them of their forced heterosexuality

One of the main reasons why your stuff is second rate, pathetic and just plain bad, is because it will NEVER reach the same quality that the OG series had.

Now, OG Naruto has its problems lets not lie here, but even with those problems, the legacy and the bar are still set high. And it's so high that literally NOTHING (Not Retsudumb, Not Gaiden, Not The Last) will ever reach even close to it.

Anyways, gonna put this under a read more. For context, I've watched a video on YouTube trying to justify why Narusaku would've made more sense than Sasusaku, and as you can imagine, the comments section had people rightfully hating on SS but by siding with Sakura and putting the whole blame on Sasuke, accusing him of being an abuser and whatnot. So, this is a response to those people under the cut:

Can Sakura stans please, stop blaming Sasuke for Sasusaku? Accusing him of being abusive or that he doesn't deserve her, cause she should've ended up with Naruto, Rock-Lee, or worse, there's also the girlies who believe Sakura was a closeted lesbian and had feelings for Ino! When she's as straight as a ruler, lol. Sasuke never wanted Sakura. He told her on multiple occasions that he doesn't want her. That he thinks she's annoying, that Naruto and Itachi are the only bonds he cares about. She's the one who kept obsessively simping and chasing after him, and crying and pouting like a baby, whenever he didn't pay attention to her.

The scene in the war arc, where she tried to act all cool by charging at Madara in his sague of 6 paths form, unable to see his clones and Sasuke and Naruto had to rescue her? She was doing it for Sasuke's attention cause she pouts and gets sad when she sees he doesn't care about her. When Kaguya showed up and she started switching dimensions and at one point switched to a lava dimension, and they started falling? Sasuke summoned his hawk and chose to rescue only Naruto, even when Naruto had the unlocked ability to levitate while ignoring Kakashi and Sakura. If it weren't for Kashi, Sakura would've fallen into the lava and died. Same with him covering team 7 with his Susanoo when the Tsukuyomi was first launched: he explicitly said he only wanted to protect Naruto cause he was necessary to end the war, he didn't care bout Kashi and Sakura. They just got lucky to be standing next to Naruto when it happened.

At one point, before Sasuke put her in that genjutsu of him stabbing her through the chest, she literally started crying and complaining about him not loving her or caring about her, to the point that, Kakashi started coddling her as he always does, also insisting to Sasuke that 'Sakura's feelings are pure and genuine and she only cares about him and how can he not see that.'

Sasuke tried making it clear to her time and time again that he's not interested, yet she cannot for the life of her, get it through her thick skull and leave him alone. Guys, Sarada canonically exists, only cause Sakura kept harassing Sasuke on his travels outta the village and chasing after him, until he gave in and fucked her. In one of the Naruto novels (not the trash written by Jun Esaka. I think it was Sakura retsuden or hidden or smth). She herself has a line saying that she'd never stop chasing Sasuke, and would keep insisting and harassing him till he accepted her feelings. That's highkey criminal behavior. She's a stalker and she asked for the loveless marriage she's stuck in now. That's what she wanted. She should've known with that 'oh so great intelligence of her' (note the sarcasm) before she started chasing him that it was very likely she'd end up pregnant and a single mother to boot. Because Sasuke doesn't love her.

It's further proven in Boruto, in that one arc where Sarada first meets Sasuke and shit? Heavily implying Sasuke never kissed her, and when he sees Sakura injured from her fight with Shin (the weirdo with the multiple sharingan ) he barely shows any concern, he's just like 'yeah, you can heal yourself, whatever'. At the end of the arc when he's leaving again, he just gives her a look and doesn't even bother with a forehead poke (and it's not a signal of love like SS fans like to believe).

SS is a trash ship and not because of Sasuke who got dragged into it against his will, ruining his character in the process, but solely because of Sakura. She's not the victim just cause she's a girl, ya'll. She's the active perpetrator. If the roles were switched and Sasuke was the one obsessively chasing Sakura everyone would recognize that behavior as toxic and criminal, but just because she's the one doing it and Sasuke constantly refused her she's a victim? Utter bs, lol.
