Scary Sunset.

I'm concepting things way outta order in this story, but I'm sure you can piece things together. Context is for a storybeat where, after defeating and capturing Adagio (thus having all three sirens in her possession), Sunset enacts her revenge plot to release the sirens on Canterlot as Thea discovers she's been manipulated. In a confrontation, the two scuffle and fight over the siren orbs while Sunset struggles with her conflicting wants and emotions.

Pay attention to what makes you feel on edge. If you’re feeling angry try to stop and assess what is triggering that anger. It doesn’t have to make sense. Is the sound of shoes squeaking on the floor grating? Is the way someone is asking you for something upsetting even if the ask isn’t? Understanding what is bothering us is the first step to diffusing our anger.

android AU: everything stays the same but the robots are more humanoid. thats it really xD

human AU: set in 2010. quite a few things change (i oc-ify the characters pretty much). the main things to note is that it’s a lot of what if scenarios. what if the resonance cascade in black mesa never happened, what if caroline had a daughter (gladys, so glados and caroline aren’t the same person in the AU. i wanted to explore the possibility of them being two separate people haha), what if the disk operating system project was put into halt and AI never took over. in the AU black mesa and aperture are still rivals in the development of teleportation technology, portals are still being experimented on, human test subjects are paid to test, they don’t go through cryo sleep stasis but live their life at aperture in dormitories (let me slice of life portal okay im self indulgent). Aperture still has questionable work ethics and morals but things work slightly more differently. Gladys is the CEO of aperture and she pushes for a lot of work to be done so they can surpass black mesa. Also important to note, Chell registers as a test subject for the cash deal but she also aims to investigate what really happened to her adoptive father who died at Aperture.

that’s the main essence of the au, still working on it and some plots here and there but, like most of my fandom aus, it’s really self indulgent slice of life crap LOL

Inside out 2 was a Great movie (I REALLY ENJOYED IT!!!)

The clock app makes me just Sad half the time from the way they really seem to not like joyxiety which 😭 you're fine to dislike something I just think the overwhelming hate kind of threw me off LOL

I like joy and anxiety because they contrast each other so much and it's so interesting to see their dynamic before and after anxiety takes over. As well as what it looks like after the ending!

My inside out OTP. Well That’s the ships I support in inside out (of the official characters) so far I don’t ship Joy, Sadness, Ennui and Envy with someone

What do emotions drink? Coffee? Tea? No. Brain chemicals.

My headcanon is that they drink whichever chemicals are necessary for their particular emotion, which are then retained within the emotion's particles. Within contact of the console, said chemicals are then transferred over from their body to Riley, causing a reaction.

Obviously, each emotions don't have a specific set of chemicals that trigger them, since a single neurotransmitting chemical can produce a lot of different reactions depending on where in the brain it happens, and how much of it... BUT, for the sake of the joke- let's just pretend <3

Fear: cortisol, noradrenaline (norepinephrine)

Anxiety: epinephrine

Anger: epinephrine, noradrenaline (norepinephrine)

Joy: dopamine, serotonin, endorphin, oxytocin

Sadness: dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine (noradrenaline)

Ennui: boredom is a lower level of dopamine, so maybe she does the opposite? Like, she absorbs the dopamine from the console or smth? Idk

Interacting with objects in the setting

You now have a destroyed room, and once they finally calm down, they are forced to stare into space as their surroundings are laid to waste.

—Describe how their throat breaks and their voice becomes hoarse

—Think about how clear the words are that they’re saying, if anything at all. Can they be understood perfectly by the MC, much to their horror? Or do they only catch bits and pieces?

—Breathing heavily and erratically until their face turns red

—How does their voice pitch change? Does it become a low, rattling sound of a caged monster, or does it resemble a banshee’s shriek? Think of the pitch you have in mind for the character, and throw some more angry descriptive words in front of it.
