The way I approach love stories is so interesting, like I care not for both sexual and romantic part, both don't exactly need to be present for you to see that characters trust each other and feel safe

Same with family, platonic stuff and friendships, feelings of trust and whatever else worth so much in all of this

Love story being a love story just means it'll happen faster and more... Boldly?? Bc that's the main focus and all

Also since people love romance so much you get more stuff in the fandom win/win

Although I'd say it took me a loooong time to get into anything, because I rarely see something and go THAT'S A SHIP! nah, that's a friendship, that's cute and sweet

Then we have toxic stuff and that's the intoxicating codependency that makes me want to analyze it all, like wow those characters are horrible to each other

But I usually have like two to balance each other, bc as funny toxic stuff is, I want some sweet stuff be it a friendship or a healthy ship

My Feelings About Bradford Buzzard And His Grandmother

First, If No One Has Seen The Last Episode of The Final Season of Ducktales Reboot with the Last Adventure, do not read this unless you seen that episode first.

okay here goes...

My feelings on Bradford's Grandmother, I don't like her.

she is the reason Bradford became the way he is in the first place.

plus whenever Bradford tried to reason with Scrooge, he got ignored, so of

course he had to use the papyrus to make Scrooge, Della and Donald forget he was ever there. even if he did transform into a monster,

it wouldn't be because he's evil. it would be from the negative emotions and the misinterpretation people have of him, so he isn't truly a villain, if anything he is a victim and that jerk of a Finch is the root of it all.

Even if she is Scrooge's hero, but even he would need to accept that she was a insensitive woman who caused a child trauma that led him to grow-up cold and truly alone.

Yes Bradford made mistakes, but he was blinded.

He tried to keep chaos from going out of control, even if it meant doing something that would hurt a family, which he shouldn't of did and that had crossed a line.

I don't believe that Bradford was truly evil, he was just a broken soul who wanted to stop dangerous adventures and possibly save those like him from suffering the same trauma he suffered since his childhood.

No one has to agree with me, but I just feel that most villains have good in them.

And most of their trauma and suffering are caused by the good guys or the main hero/heroine.

Plus No Hero or Heroine should be above the consequences of damaging someone else's life,

Either they be another hero or villain or a neutral party.

Scrooge wasn't truly at fault for what happen to Della, but if you think about it, it was 100% Della's.

She could of not stole the ship, but she did. and it because she chose to listen to the one who told her of the surprise, she could of chose to ignore it and act surprise later, and not cause her family to end up they it did.

Scrooge didn't mean for to become lost in space, but he isn't excused for some truly heartless things he has done in the past because of his greed before he found the true greatest treasure, which is his family.

He hurt Magica, and I believe the reason why they had that fight so long ago in the series, is because she wanted to get him back for what happen to her brother.

Even if Louie made a good point, that his villains/enemies, made him a better person.

That still doesn't excuse him for purposely not helping someone who asked for help, even saying they give him anything if he help them.

The pain that Scrooge felt when he lost Della, was perhaps the same feeling that Magica felt when she lost her brother and never saw him again.

I believe that the Phantom Blot, might really be Mr Vanderquack, Bentina Beakley's son-in-law,

Who is now a widow, who lost his wife and Bentina's biological granddaughter, before Webby came along.

But the biological granddaughter could of survived, while Edna Beakley-Vanderquack did not.

the reason why Blot wants to destroy all magic and Magica,

might have to do with the fact that he lost his wife Edna and his child.

If the incident happen before Webby was born, then I think Pepper might really be Bentina's Granddaughter.

But all that is just a theory.  if the story picks up in a Darkwing Duck Reboot and reveals that the theory about Phantom Blot being Mr Vanderquack, the widow of Edna, and Pepper being his long-lost daughter is true....then I guess I would be surprised.

But yeah back to the whole Isabella Finch, she is truly not as great as everyone makes her.

She caused Bradford to become who he is, and she couldn't see the damage it would cause later in his life.

Plus I believe that there was a reason why we saw a clone of Bradford, the real Bradford might of known what would happen if he faced Scrooge, so he used that ray thing that makes someone smart or dumb,

Shot it at his clone that looked 100% like him, then sent the clone to deal with Scrooge, while the Real Bradford himself sneaked away unseen by both sides.

If that theory is true, then maybe it will show it in the reboot of Darkwing Duck.  

I hope some of you understand my view on Bradford, at first when it was revealed he was a part of FOWL, I did thought he was a villain. but after the episode that first showed that papyrus, and even showing a bit more of his past...but perhaps not all of it.

I don't view Bradford as someone who is evil, just someone who is deeply hurt and tried to do good but ended up hurting others in his quest to achieve it.

Yes he did wrong in his life, and he was blinded by his ambition that cost him in the end.

And we should try to remember, he wouldn't be that way if it wasn't for that insensitive Isabella Finch.

Once more, no one has to agree with my feelings about it. but I still find that Finch is my least favorite character in the Ducktales 2017 Continuum.

Isabella Finch was the true monster.

Bradford was her victim, and she couldn’t see that her adventures that she dragged him on, was making him unhappy and would place stress, trauma and fear in his life, and making him go down a dark path just to keep the whole world safe.

Bradford wasn’t even truly evil, just broken and emotionally hurt.

which Della, Beakley, Scrooge and the rest of the family and friends couldn’t open their hearts and eyes enough to see.

it is possible the only one who could see it, was Magica.

because the way she said that he wasn’t a villain.

I can’t agree with the actions of those who are suppose to be “Good”

but end up hurting those who are just hurt themselves.

Discord didn’t even get a proper punishment,

he, Celestia and Luna just made the three scapegoats of his actions, get turned to stone, and Star Butterfly despite the fact that her and her family have misused magic for who knows how long of generations,

she chooses to move the blame from her Mother,

to magic itself, who let me remind you everyone, is not truly at fault, but those like Star and her family who wield it.

and if you misuse that power, it is your fault, not the source of the realm your magic comes from.

at least Lena was able to do better than what Star did, I still love SVTFOE

(and still hope to get a complete dvd collection of SVTFOE someday.) 

and the last episode was still good, but I can’t agree with placing blame on magic, when it was Moon who misused it and caused so many lives to be in danger, and even ended up with Quirky dying.

Steven Quartz Universe, he went through trauma in his life that caused him to end up the way he turned out in Steven Universe Future.

I for one, love both the first series, the movie and Steven Universe Future.

the Steven Universe Future brought out some truth of Steven, that some can relate to and understand but maybe not fully.

because of what was revealed in Steven Universe Future,

about Greg’s past, I see him as both a Good and yet Bad person.

same with how Rose was during her life, as both when she was Pink Diamond,

and then when she reformed as “Rose Quartz”, which I still think that would make her a Trans-Gem, like gems who are normally be made one way, might feel like they are either a Rose Quartz, a Ruby or even a Zircon.

but the episode where we learn a bit more of Greg’s past, like how he felt about his parents and how he viewed their rules and how it seem like a prison to him.

but he might of only seen what he wanted to see, he might not of got the full picture growing up, and I had theorized that one of his parents could of been sensitive to loud music/sound, it is possible that Greg couldn’t understand.

Steven had a right to be mad at Greg, and even disappointed in him too.

Greg had cheered him up, and even made him happy finding out about his father’s old home.

but Greg made his son go back down to his lows again.

it was good that it was revealed that Steven is getting the help he needs.

when he corrupted himself, it was good that no one tried to hurt him

but hugged him when he needed that emotional support.

the kind that shows that those who are his family and friends, are there for him and are sorry they couldn’t see how much pain he was going through.

at times when a character who is normally a villain, and shows no sign of goodness in them (unlike Chrysalis, Cozy Glow and  Tirek showed when they bonded in one episode....who had shown a side of good that was in them.)

they can’t be saved...

I wont force others to agree on my view on all this, just try to respect that is how I see it.

not all villains are evil, some end up being Anti-Villains,

just as how some heroes who aren’t always good, end up as Anti-Heroes.

 even if Isabella Finch was long gone in the world of Ducktales 2017,

but to me she was the root of Bradford’s suffering and trauma.

and that makes her the woman behind the man, and the true villain.    

 now I am gonna just go and sign off and have me time.

and I really hope some of you will understand how I view Bradford,

yes at first I thought of him as a villain after it turned out he was FOWL.

but then after seeing the other sides of him, I can’t help but understand he was misunderstood and he only wanted to protect the world from danger.

(he just ended up going about it the wrong way, and went too far in the wrong ways to achieve that peace.)

and his grandmother Isabella, Ludwig, Scrooge, everyone, including the rest of FOWL, couldn’t see that.

I hope that at least such a thing gets resolved in a darkwing duck reboot.

and the Bradford we saw in the very end, turned out to be one of his clones.

because I believe that Bradford deserved better, he was not born that way, he was made that way because of his so called grandmother, who couldn’t see that she was making him unhappy and causing him trauma.

Okay so this is probably gonna make some people mad at me but

This. Is gonna be a rant about SVTFOE. Please don't read this if you actually like the show, it's incredibly negative and it's probably just gonna upset you.

So I think Blue Order's video about this is better than my rant could ever be so go watch that if you want to hear like. Everything I want to say but more well put together.

Every time I think about this show I get so angry and I just. Aaagh.

This show! Used to be good! Like, the first two seasons were pretty great! And then they ruined it! I'm! So upset!

I'm not upset just because Starco's canon. That's fine. I prefer Tom and Star, but honestly, the show shouldn't have been about shipping anyway. I'm upset because the writing was horrible.

I stopped liking all of the characters except for Tom! Everyone was horrible! I hate Star so much! I hate Marco! I hate everyone in this show except Tom! What the fuck! Their personalities were inconsistent a lot of the time. But like also. A lot of the time they were mean to other characters for no fucking reason. I'm. So upset.

So um can I just say that the TomStar breakup was so fucking stupid. Like they could have broken up for so many reasons (maybe the fact that Star was being horrible to him? Just a suggestion) but they decided to go with "uh yeah our lives are going in different directions or something idk it's complicated". Huh? What? It came out of nowhere and was never properly explained.

Also like. Starco was so fucking rushed I'm so mad. Like if they want to go for that ship then at least give it some actual development? It happened way too fast, they had so much time to make that work!

ALSO WTF DO YOU MEAN THE BLOOD MOON BALL WAS FAKE? THAT MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE! What was with Marco saying "I don't WANT to be in love with Star" all fucking episode then? He clearly wasn't interested, he was being forced into it by the curse! Star didn't want it either, she was already in another relationship! One of the main things that ruins Starco for me is the fact that for most of the show they are FORCED into this relationship because of the curse, stop trying to make me think this curse wasn't real when everyone was clearly bothered by it.

Tom was like. Actually well-written. But can I just say. The line "I'm a monster, you're a Mewman, if we can make it work then there's hope for everyone"? Yeah um. They didn't make it work. So. No hope I guess.

I'm just. Pissed off about everything. What the fuck was the end of the show btw? Huh? Yeah let's kill off tons of populations because magic is evil apparently also let's shove a bunch of worlds together because that'll end well and not cause worldwide chaos.

I'm. This show. Ended so horribly. I hate it.

Why did Kelly and Marco get an off-screen breakup? I actually cared about their relationship but okay sure let's just. Ruin that off-screen for no explained reason.

Why was Mina the final villain? And she didn't even really get defeated? I don't understand??

And like? Toffee said he'd be back, didn't he? Where is he? Was he wrong?

I'm. I'm so upset, I need to like. Stop thinking about this show.

So our prompts for this week will be as follows:

Day 1 - 23 Jun - That Can’t Be It

Let’s start the week off with something that I’m sure all of us Tomco shippers are thinking. That everyone who watched the finale thought, I’m sure. Is that seriously it? That can’t be it. And yet, it was. Leaving all personal opinions aside I think we can still all agree the ending of the series was quite messy and rushed. We’re not fully sure what happened or why, but as it is, it seems all the dimensions have merged together. So what do you think is going to happen next? Where’s Tom? Who might have simply gone away due to the magic being destroyed? How do Marco, Tom, and Star all deal with what happened? Let’s explore the inevitable post-show chaos!

Day 2 - 24 Jun - Confessions

So yeah, I guess Star and Marco are a thing now. But this IS a Tomco (and Stomco) blog. How does Tom react to this? Did he possibly have a crush on Marco? Will the three of them try to talk this out? Will he try to win him over, join their relationship, or just move on because he wants him to be happy? Plenty of room for angst, but also for a happy ending for all three of them! Do what you will.

Day 3 - 25 Jun - Happy Pride!

Come on y’all, it’s Pride Month! Let’s show a little Pride. What headcanons do you have for Tom and Marco? If they were to dress up, which flags and icons would they go for? Or perhaps they simply discuss their identities with each other and learn more about each other in the process?

Day 4 - 26 Jun - Pride Events!

How does our favorite pairing celebrate Pride? Do they attend parades or rallys? Go out to eat? Shopping? Or perhaps they just hang out together at home and play games or watch movies? Maybe they don’t really care for celebrating Pride at all, which is totally understandable. I wanna know what you see them doing. :D

Day 5 - 27 Jun - Love Sentence Concert

Tom was freakin’ robbed in Just Friends, like WOW he absolutely deserved to go to that Love Sentence concert with Star, Marco, and Jackie. He and Marco bonded so much over liking the band and he doesn’t even get mentioned? smh. So let’s make up for that! Tom finally gets to go to a Love Sentence concert with Marco! Which songs do they rock out to the most? What souvenirs do they buy? Do they get any autographs?

Day 6 - 28 Jun - Meeting Parents

Honestly, it’s time. Tom and Star’s parents know each other, sure, but Marco’s and Tom’s don’t. But now that everyone’s in the same dimension together, there’s really no better time. How do you see a meeting between Rafael and Angie, and Dave and Wrathemelior, going? Is there tension or do they take to each other immediately? How do they feel about their children dating? And most important... does Wrathmelior just immediately gush over adorable Mariposa and insist on babysitting her?

Day 7 - 29 Jun - Summer Vacation

Well hey, the series ended around summer time, didn’t it? So why not have the final prompt be what you think their first summer vacation in the merged dimension is like! Where do they go, what photos do they take? How have famous landmarks perhaps changed? Is Marco’s favorite taco restaurant still there or is it now merged beautifully (or perhaps disastrously) with a Mewni or Underworld restaurant?? Perhaps they head to the beach and surprise, huge sections of the ocean are inexplicably replaced with lava, lookin like some ridiculous Minecraft map. Gonna get a little weird, gonna get a little wild this summer y’all.

Trending 27th - January 2020

What have been your efforts in the campaign for SaveWOY and what are your upcoming plans to save WOY? Now this is a question worth answering!

In the past, I made a little list of the things I did to support SaveWOY and bring awareness to Wander Over Yonder’s existence and its third season plans. Since then, I’ve done a whole lot more from hand-drawn art to more intricate art. Some of them are almost as special as that signed poster @peepsqueak got from the WOY crew as a token of their gratitude.

Here’s an updated list of everything I did for SaveWOY so far:

Attended the SaveWOY picnic at Griffith Park, where I got to sign a banner.

Pointed out various higher-ups involved in the business of Disney television.

Sent several letters to the higher-ups, some of which had envelopes with an image of the downed space pod taped to them.

Started a weekly Twitter post series, SaveWOY Thought of the Week.

Made Lite-Brite art of Wander and Lord Hater, which Craig McCracken and Francisco Angones liked.

Attended D23 2017 with an Operation: FORCE drawing of Hater, a colored page of Wander and Sylvia and a few facts about WOY, and an orange pen with a green hat (I got the hat from the aforementioned picnic) - there, I signed a bench with Wander and the phrase, “Never hurts to help.”

Signed my name, drew Wander (and my own character, Jacken DeBox), and wrote, “Happiest place in outer space!” on the highest beam for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Wrote a letter (and drew Wander) for the victims of the Las Vegas tragedy with the message, “The darkest times call for the sunniest smiles!”

Got Craig to reveal the name of the ship (said to play a BIG part in S3, made a cameo in Future-Worm) when I commented that we’d have to figure out the name - his response: “The ship is called The Star Nomad.”

Wrote a couple of cards to two Disney higher-ups with the message, “A little nice makes naughty think twice!”

Drew Dominator in a situation that might take place several seconds after she passes the downed space pod, just in time for Noël Wells’s B-day.

Made the Star Nomad with LEGO Digital Designer.

Made three images in the style of the original Star Wars trilogy VHS set.

Posted 50 WOYS3PredictionPolls on Twitter.

Made an image of “The First 5 Years” with over 140 individuals (including the question marks for 3 new mains and 2 new regulars - I still want to know what they look like!) and one cleverly made Hidden Mickey.

Shared WOY-related images from my 1st 5 Years fan art on Twitter acknowledging the B-days of most of the voice actors (Charlie Adler, Kevin Michael Richardson, Ken Marino, Josh Sussman, H. Michael Croner, James Adomian, Jason Ritter, and Piotr Michael clearly noticed).

Typed a summary of how I think the S3 premiere would go.

Typed lyrics to “Let’s Go Soarin’ and Explorin’,” a song from my aforementioned S3 premiere summary. Wouldn’t it be great if Andy Bean used it?

Made a microgame with WarioWare: D.I.Y. where the player has to spin the fan to make the Star Nomad fly. Part of a chorus from “Let’s Go Soarin’ and Explorin’” included.

Started FanCharacterFriday on Twitter - more Tumblr users seem to like Dr. Otmar Vunderbar.

Made a short comic page of Lord Hater trying to break out of the DTVA vault plus a sly reminder that Disney owns the rights to WOY.

Shared a list of potential episode titles for S3.

Made an actual LEGO Star Nomad based on the model made with LDD. Hopefully, those who worked on WOY have noticed. In case you missed it, here’s a picture...

Now, the ideas I have in mind for further boosting support for the campaign. I may not be able to do most of them myself, but they are certainly for everyone’s consideration.

Provide updated information of higher-ups (if any).

As soon as we find out what Kid Cosmic looks like, expect fan art of him saying, “Watch my show and tell your friends so we’ll make that Mousey Company pay for what they did to my half-brother!”

Another SaveWOY picnic - if there’s one in my general area, you can count me in.

Drawings of various WOY characters stuck on the ex-secret planet explaining why they need to leave said planet. Maybe I could also show how the galaxy’s villains would react if they learn that Lord Dominator’s been bested by Lord Hater.

Drawings consisting of SaveWOY-related messages spoken by the main characters from Disney shows that got at least three seasons (e.g. DuckTales, Fish Hooks), tons of love from the viewers and the executives (e.g. Gravity Falls), or both (e.g. SvtFoE, Mickey Mouse ‘13).

Example with Phineas and Ferb:

Phineas: “We may be creative and famous, but we’re not the ones who came up with the Star Nomad. It’s the ship powered by orbbles! Orbbles! I’d LOVE to see it take flight, wouldn’t you? If you let Mr. McCracken end the show his way, and not the executive way, which, truth be told, is the absolute worst, Wander will surely be elated!”

Ferb: “The Orbble Transporter was invented by conjoined twin brothers, voiced by the performers of the theme song.”

Irving (peeking in from the side): “Speaking of voices, the titular main character sounds JUST LIKE ME! How could you possibly resist?! And look, just because I’m the biggest fan of these guys (gesturing to P&F) doesn’t mean I have no interest in what’s planned for the furry orange fella!”

Since I’m a full-time Disneyland cast member, I should be able to make contacts with anyone who might have more clues about what S3 would entail. It might be a long shot, but if I’m able to convince Disney that WOY’s influence on my life boosted my chance at gaining employment at the company, they should understand.

A weekly Jeopardy-type pop quiz on Twitter - here’s the catch: you must refrain from finding information online when you read the answer (I bet you that the most hardcore fans of the most popular shows will get most of the questions wrong).

Example: This arachnomorph got his name from a dog tag he swallowed when he infiltrated a fish-shaped ship. He later became Lord Hater’s beloved pet.

More fan-made characters - my most recent is an elected official of Cluckon, Mayor Spye C. Drumstick.

Conjuring a logo that best fits the status of S3/TV movie - Wander Over Yonder: The New Galaxy (the center would have the silhouette of the Star Nomad with Wander and Sylvia on it).

Brainstorming possible ideas for the three new main characters.

If all else fails, I suggest we make a web comic based on the hints we accumulated back in 2016 and what we learned from the cameo in Future-Worm’s finale. Team Sea3on has been taking that approach for SatAM Sonic the Hedgehog S3, though they are also making an animated version.

That’s about all I’ve got so far. In closing, I have several questions to ask as the new decade kicks off.

Disney executives: Are you even listening to us WOY fans? What more do you want? I’ve done so much for the campaign that I feel I’m entitled to know everything that was planned for WOY’s third and final season, especially now that I’m working full-time for your company. If you tell us what your demands are, we’d be happy to oblige.

@crackmccraigen: Are you aware of how hard the fans and I have been trying to talk Disney into giving you the chance for true closure? We’ll make sure we watch KC when it comes out on Netflix. If we’re lucky, we might see WOY get added to Disney+, where it should get that closure, assuming you’ll have finished KC your way before then.

@suspendersofdisbelief: I know you’re super busy with DuckTales and you love the plans for WOY S3 so much that you can’t bear to reveal it all in one post, but it’s been waaaay too long since we got any hints from you. Are there any other WOY S3-related facts you could describe in much greater detail? The campaign could do with more motivation.

Non-WOY fans: Are you convinced? Need I remind you what’s in the end tag of the “last” episode of WOY? You know there’s much more to life than tales from the land of Ooo, a blue middle school cat boy in a world of unusual individuals, adolescent twins in an Oregon town filled with oddities, a half-gem half-human protagonist, a coming-of-age princess of Mewni, a trio of ursine trend-followers in San Francisco, and all that jazz. If you’re not one bit interested in Hater’s origin story and all that was planned for S3, it’s your loss.

Wander is still stuck in that vault where his goal of reforming Lord Hater remains incomplete, and he has no idea of what threat awaits him. He says, “Glorn, help us.” It’ll take something big and extraordinary to convince every Disney fan (and perhaps every Netflix fan) to talk some sense into the higher-ups. Not to mention the replacement/back-up voice actors we’ll have to find if Disney takes even longer (we already lost one - René Auberjonois). We shan’t rest until we get the answers!

My Story with Starco and my Letter of Goodbye

Hi, not sure if anyone reading this will know me but I’m Starcoanonymous. I’m a giant fan of Star vs. the Forces of Evil and Starco and have been in the fandom since I discovered it since the first four episodes were released. I grew this blog and wrote a ton on fanfiction.net as FanfictionForDayz in the hopes that one day, this ship would become canon. Looking at myself right now, it’s really strange how this is the only shipping pair I would truly care for and how obsessed I was by it. I don’t care though. It changed my life for the better. Today, I have finished watching all the episodes of Season 4 that I have missed due to college. Now that Starco is canon, it is time for me to say goodbye. This is more for me to remember the good times in the show but if you would like, feel free to tag along for the awesome ride.

Backstory:

Where to start? To begin with, I’m not much of a fandom guy. I did love to watch cartoons but I would never be a real ‘fan’ of the show. That’s as true now as it was then. The only show I was really ever going to be a fan of is this one.

However, the shows that I did like always had unfinished ships. For example, in Pokemon, everytime I wanted Ash and the girl to be together, they wouldn’t. In Yu-Gi-Oh, the main protagonist would never get with the girl. I hated it when that happened. I wasn’t fully aware at the time what ships were and how much I really hated to see that type of thing. Also to mention, I did not like those drama filled, complicated love stories like seen in Twilight and other media back then.

Around 2015 is when I found SVTFOE. I was a sophomore in high school and things were just tough. I wasn’t being bullied or anything, I just was not enjoying high school very much. Now I know I said I’m not much of a fandom guy, but around that time I was also reading the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and reading a TON of fanfiction about it. I loved Percy and Annabeth being together but there really was no visual representation to latch on to (the movie did not do that series justice). It was really around then I discovered that I loved to see the characters I loved get together.

Season 1:

The TV in the living room was on and by happenstance, it was turned to Disney Channel. I think it was turned to “School Spirit” and something about the show, irked me. The art style, the personalities, I have no idea but as SOON as I saw Star and Macro on the same screen, I absolutely needed to know who they were and what this show was. So, I decided to give this show a try. Dear lord, you cannot imagine what happens next.

At this point in time, the first four episodes were out and the fifth was about to be released in the upcoming week. I watched the first four episodes and I have never been the same since.

There was something refreshing about this show. Something dare I say, magical, about how they structured the first few episodes. I really for the life of me cannot tell you what that meant, but I can tell you that every single night I rewatched those four episodes OVER and OVER again. I am not joking when I tell you that I probably have watched those four episodes combined at least 50 times. After doing research, I came across two very, specific pictures/gifs created by tumblr user @skleero​ which sealed my fate.

I still have no idea what about this made me go absolutely insane for this show but I do know what made me fall in love with it. The first is the art style. This show’s art style is FANTASTIC. I absolutely love the art style and I praise Nefcy for that in my mind every day. Second, there were no real hints about shipping given out at all. Taking a look at the first four episodes, I didn’t know where this show would take it. I found out however, that I loved not knowing. I hated the idea of not seeing this ship come to life but I loved the possibility that that was the case. I consider this, “shipping masochism.” After all, the goal is worth more if it is hard to achieve.

I was obsessed. Maybe you don’t realize yet how obsessed I was. I literally paused and played each of those four episodes until I examined every single scene where Star and Marco was nearly in contact with each other. Yes, it sounds like an unhealthy obsession but looking at myself today, it truly did me good. It brought me so much joy to watch this show I only have good memories of that time.

Episode 5 comes around and I enjoy it as much as the previous episodes. However, I find out that there is a two month long hiatus until the next episode, “Mewberty/Pixtopia.” To cope with this, I look for other ways to satisfy my needs. I research everything I can about Starco, I scrolled through google images to look for more fan art of it, I even played the game that Disney came out with on their website to promote it. I don’t exactly remember what it was called but I got a tip off saying that Ludo called Marco Star’s boyfriend and that was all it took to get me to play through the whole game and screen shot that exact moment (they later removed that line, sneaky people).

Around then is when I started to read fanfiction for the show. I loved the endless possibilities. I loved not knowing where this ship would go. So, I read every fanfction. Yes, EVERY fanfiction. I first went through fanfiction.net and read EVERY. SINGLE. AVAILABLE. FAN FICTION (about Starco). I became upset that there wasn’t anymore as there were only about 20ish pages of fanfiction stories at the time. So, I went on Archive of Our Own and read every single one there (about Starco). Then, since I still was not satisfied, I read every single fanfiction in the most obscure websites, and saved the text on my Notes app on my IPhone (which I still have. I love these stories).

At this point, I still did not have enough content. I needed more. I found out about tumblr and looked through the Starco tag, but I needed more. So, I got the idea that, instead of looking for content, why don’t I just make it? So, I started up a blog here where I would repost a ton of things and make a few funny edits a long the way and created an account of fanfiction.net where I would write a ton of my own fanfictions on my account FanfictionForDayz.

And so I went, spending all my time enjoying writing fanfiction, watching SVTFOE, watching every scene for every single touch between Star and Marco, trying to find out who Toffee was, banging my face into my pillow as I witnessed Bloodmoon Ball all up till the end of season 1.

Season 2:

At the end of season 1, I couldn’t imagine not being as obsessed with this show, but well, as time flew and there was no episodes for a whole school year, I started to write less and less fanfiction and read less about SVTFOE. I was growing up a little and didn’t have enough time to wait for that Season 2 to come out.

But when it did come out, I was so pumped. It had been nearly a whole year since season 1 ended and there was nothing about to stop me from watching my favorite show. And so I went, absolutely enjoying the show and enjoying the little hints they were pumping out about Starco, even acknowledging the name of the ship in one of the episodes which made me cry honestly.

Then came the dreaded episode. ‘Bon Bon the Birthday Clown.’ All my worst fears were realized. Starco was not cannon and my headcanon of Star and Marco being each others first kissed went out the window. I truly did enjoy the episode but man did it sting. The first realized ship of this show and it was not the main one. I vented my frustrations with funny clips and simply believed Starco would be end game.

At this point, I truly could not bear to write anymore fanfiction. I really only liked writing headcanons, things that were still possible in the show. I did not want to write anymore headcanons with Jarco still being a thing. So I trudged on cursing (not really) Daron for torturing me.

Near the finale, I went crazy. I could not believe Star was revealed to liking Marco. To me, this was the most forbidden thing that anyone could ever do in this show. Why? My previous experience with non-canon ships made me believe that ships were supposed to be on the down low, not mentioned too much as part of the story. This was different however, and out came my excitement as one step towards Starco finally had been accomplished.

Season 3: 

I’m not going to lie, Season 3 was probably my least favorite. I’m sure you can see why. Right as Jackie and Marco broke up, Tom and Star get together. It was like cruelest fate as a Starco shipper. So close, yet so far.

Not only that, I did not enjoy it as much as season 1 & 2 because it put too much emphasis on the drama and love in my opinion. I liked the scarcity of it because it made it all the more sweeter. I also did not like the drama being the main focus of the story. I preferred it in the way that there was a main plot and the drama was just a side plot. Nevertheless, I enjoyed watching every single episode.

Season 4:

Here I am in college, and for the first time, I told Starco to wait. I love the ship but I needed to get good grades this quarter. So when time came for the final season to come out, I decided to wait. I decided for the first time in a long time to get serious with studies. Starco didn’t take away my time for studying at all, I just decided to hold it off until time came where I could enjoy season 4 to the fullest, by myself just like when I first started watching this show. No fanfictions, no tumblr, no news, just me and the episodes.

I achieved the highest grades I’ve gotten in a long time with a 3.8 GPA this quarter. After that, I was ready to watch season 4.

At first, I paced myself. Two episodes a day. So I could fully enjoy them. Eventually, around episode 14 came around and I gave in to my love of the show and spent the whole day watching the rest of season 4.

Watching the show, seeing all the previous characters come back, and realizing how different the show was from the first episode made me realize, the adventure is coming to a close. I knew it was coming and I knew that there probably wasn’t any chance of season 5 happening because the story was wrapping up so nicely. I just hoped. Hoped for the perfect ending.

Finally, 4 years of patiently waiting. 4 years of driving myself so that I could see Starco become a thing. 4 years. And I finally see it. Not only are they simply smiling at each other, they even kissed; a real kiss unlike the one at the photo booth. They are both single, both are ready, both like each other, and both kissed.

Now, as a mature, college sophomore, who has moved away from the cringe of their teen years, I’m sure you understand that I handled it like a mature, responsible- Who am I kidding, I screamed so loud I’m sure I’ll get noise complaints for my neighbors. I praised the world as I saw my ship become real.

Only, there was one more problem to settle.

I didn’t know what was going to happen. Was Marco going to be sent away? This would be the cruelest fate. The universe itself trying to rip your ship apart. I had to hold my breath. Then came the portal at the end of the final episode. I screamed at Star and Marco to run like their lives DEPENDED on it (mine did). 

Then came a most beautiful ending. Hey. It made me want to cry. My ship was canon. That’s all I needed. There are infinite possibilities from what could’ve happened from that point on but to me, I couldn’t ask for better. I would want to see an epilogue of some sort but I’m fine with even this. The deed is done. Starco is canon. And my job is finished.

Goodbye: 

Dear SVTFOE,

Thank you. I am obsessed with you because you portray something I believe in. Tom said it perfectly: “I need someone I can be best friends with.” My teacher once said that your spouse is your best friend. I believe everyone’s fateful other will be their best friend. I wanted to believe in something that didn’t seem too likely. I wanted to believe that anything is possible, and it did. Even if it wasn’t that unlikely, it happened.

You gave me the strength and energy I needed when I felt down. You gave me a reason to grow. You gave me a reason to grow up. Even though at times I didn’t like where you were going, I found that in the end, I enjoyed you through and through. I wouldn’t change a single thing, because I would not have done better. It is about time to say goodbye. One day I will return the favor. I don’t know how or who to, but watch me. I will definitely do it. I will treasure you forever, and once again, THANK YOU.

Fandom/Fanfic questions! 

10.  Is there a fandom you read fic from but don’t write in?

There are a couple, some because I just don’t have time to write in all my fandoms under any psydonym lol, and some because I just am not drawn to writing for it but I enjoy seeing other peoples interpretations. Examples being- Hunger Games (there are some amazing fics hidden in this fandom) Community, and Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus. All fandoms I am invested in but have never felt like I personally have any story for. 

20. Any ships which you surprised yourself by liking?

Again this is something where there is almost always one ship in every fandom that sneaks up on me and while its rarely like my main OTP I end up really attached to it- usually its a pairing that has little canon support but that I really like the dynamic of the characters in show or the antagonist to lovers ships (never full enemies but like... school bullies who grow up kind of stuff) 

Examples: Chloenette from Miraculous Ladybug, Annie/Abed from Community, Percy/Nico/Annabeth OT3 from PJO (this one I totally got into because of fanfics and I got SOOOOO hooked. I didn’t think anything would take me away from straight Percabeth but I was wrong) Tom/Janna from SVTFOE

39. What is you greatest strength as a writer?

I think my greatest strength is developing characters. I am big on making sure that characters are rounded and relatable.(Not likeable or good per say but understandable and dynamic) 

40. What do you struggle the most with in your writing?

51. Rant or Gush about one thing you love or hate in the world of fanfiction! Go!

I love that fanfic allows for so many different interpretations and variations. I can see the same characters I love take on a whole host of new challenges and experiences or I can see characters who are slightly different based on someone else’s point of view which will be completely different from mine. It truly is amazing

Are there any cases in the show where you wanted the rule of cool to not apply? Like, to have some logic in some moments that were confusing?

Mostly cases where things set up VERY clearly like Chekhov's guns were instead just used for rule of cool, notably the Booth photo strip being taken by Star and Marco being stabbed by the unicorn. The stabbing was, as far as anyone can tell, just used as a hype moment to make the audience gasp (rule of cool), but the constant little references to him clutching his stomach VERY deliberately framed it as something that would have relevance. Booth photo is a bit less extreme than this, as it was only shown once and did technically foreshadow some sort of payoff, but the actual payoff was so minimally connected to it that it fell flat and again was just used to make the audience gasp.

Overall in recent thoughts I had about the show, its biggest weakness imo is that it tried to be both a show about the journey and awaiting the destination at the same time. It kept bringing up cool potential ideas and plot points and said "wow look how many cool things we're bringing up" without doing much with them.

Imagine this analogy: watching a show is like walking down a path. On one extreme of suspenseful plot/lore/mystery, the path would be like a maze where the joy is trying to unravel where the destination is and how to get there. On the other extreme is a single path with a generally known destination, one that is decorated with tons of beautiful scenery along the way and contains twists and turns so you're not exactly sure HOW you get to the end, but there's still only one path, and the enjoyment is simply out of enjoying the things you see as you go. SVTFOE at many points feels like a path that is decorated with other paths that are either never used or don't even connect, and you're supposed to simply enjoy the fact that these other paths are visible. Many fans felt upset the show didn't walk down the other paths (plot stuff, other ships being endgame, etc) and many were upset that those other paths took up space that could have been used for more scenery to the main path (Starco taking forever and/or having less big episodes, lack of buildup to magic being destroyed because politics took up so much space of the season etc).

It seems like a very people-pleasery approach to me, trying to cover all bases at the same time but resulting in every reason people enjoy the show getting at least moderately shafted. Maybe it's just because Daron was a first time showrunner and wasn't seasoned enough to keep a tighter focus, idk. I don't mean to say it's terrible or anything, there IS still a lot of great stuff along the path even in this analogy. But to relate it back to your original question, even minor plot details fall under this where the fact that a setup exists is seemingly treated as inherently worthwhile even without payoff.

Ok so now that I’ve thought a while about svtfoe finale I have some opinions

Things I liked:

Marco taking the wand from moon and Marco and Star walking through the portal hand in hand

The firstborn STILL tried to warn & help Star, even after she DIED. What a good unicorn daughter

Marco trying to use Star’s spells and then just creating some spells on the fly figuring it’d work better

Marco was willing to get STABBED to help Tom

We finally got to see Eclipsa’s butterfly form (and baby Meteora got a butterfly form)!

Baby Meteora learning how to dip down being plot relevant

Moon & Comet moment. Even tho Moon’s character isn’t great rn, I’m glad she got a moment with her mom

That Tomco moment (“ok can we recognize that Marco JUST FLIPPED A HORSE!” “I FLIPPED A HORSE!”). They are such good friends (and would’ve been such a cute ship), I love them. It’s really a shame this show didn’t do the tomstarco route (preferably in my opinion with Star and Tom both dating Marco but not each other, I’m not a huge fan of Tomstar and Star hasn’t proven to be a particularly good girlfriend to Tom, but it could be good either way).

Seeing the past queens again I love their designs (I want to know what Celena’s secrets are...)

Globgor, Eclipsa, and Meteora get to stay a happy family

Actually, surprisingly, I kinda liked Ponyhead in this episode? (A little bit). I liked how she tried to cheer Star up and then went “oh not again” when she thought Star was gonna get back together with Tom which I appreciated bc they’d already been together twice before and it hadn’t worked, and I liked that Ponyhead was aware enough to realize that probably wasn’t a good idea for them to try again

Janna! Her bonding moment with Marco where she actually said they were friends was so cute! And sbsjsvsjshs she dropped her heart rate to 0 for Marco what a legend. Janna Ordania, true ride or die.

More Jackie and her gf Chloe screen time (even if it was a few seconds. It was nice to see anyways)

Meteora and Mariposa get to grow up together after all

Star and Marco get a happy ending (and the show didn’t end with them kissing which was nice)

Oh does deleting the magic mean deleting the neverzone meaning Marco’s not 30 anymore?? I really really hope so that’d make any Marco ship so much less creepy. I’m accepting that as my canon thank you very much

Things I’m not sure how I feel about:

Hekapoo’s...complete neutrality towards her upcoming death? Ig it’s good that she evidently realized she’d done some bad stuff but uh...???

The pudding being able to keep your mind sharp in the magic dimension. On the one hand, I liked that there’s a REASON Glossaryck likes pudding so much and that we finally got an explanation for it, on the other hand I sorta wish that they’d figured that out BEFORE now. Now it kinda seems like the writers just needed something to explain how the Butterflies could stay focused in the magic dimension (but again, if they needed a plot device I’m glad it’s the pudding so...idk)

Ok what was the purpose of Tom riding the evil unicorn. I don’t get it. Don’t hate it or love it, am just confused.

Marco getting stabbed and hiding it from Tom and Star was some Good Angst Sh*t. The fact that that had absolutely no purpose, however, was not. I wish either Marco didn’t get stabbed, or there was actually some consequence to Marco getting stabbed as it was kinda pointless otherwise

The fact that both Star and Marco were willing to leave their families and worlds for the chance to be together. Obviously they care about each other, but they’re willing to give up their lives and families at 15 to be together? :/ (side note those shots of Marco huddled against the magic dimension rock were really pretty)

The portal thing. It didn’t make sense

Mewni and Earth being cleaved together. I mean on the one hand that’s cool, on the other hand that seems like it’s gonna create so many problems & just leaves me with a lot of questions. For example won’t humans just oppress monsters like mewmans did? Can Tom get back to his family? Is the underworld part of the Mewni dimension or is it it’s own? Did all the dimensions get merged into Mewnearth or just Mewni and Earth? How will Earth culture and Mewni culture learn to coexist?

Moon redemption. It seemed too easy, she didn’t really have to work for it! I mean her character was growing on me pre-her-working-with-Mina, but then she was revealed to be working with Mina and she made SOLARIAN WARRIORS I mean come on! I kinda wanted her to be redeemed bc I was unsatisfied with the Mina twist, but the way they did it was kinda :/ I want Star to be able to have a good relationship with her mother, but since Moon Did That and didn’t really face any consequences besides her daughter being mad at her for an episode...

That Solaria & Eclipsa & Meteora moment. I mean it was cute Solaria accepted them but she literally created Solarian warriors and committed monster genocide soooo...that’s definitely not enough to redeem her and it’s not great that she’s portrayed sympathetically

Things I didn’t like:

That they actually went with the “erase all the magic” plot line. Svtfoe is about Star the rebel princess, frequent subverter of expectations, so it was weird to me that they actually destroyed the magic and there wasn’t some twist like the four butterfly queens work together and unlock some super butterfly form or join hands in a circle around the Solarian Warriors and say the Whispering Spell or something else to defeat Mina. I’m surprised Star seeing her supposedly finished tapestry didn’t motivate her to find a different way because she’s Star Butterfly, rebel princess who fights for what’s right and nobody can tell her what she has to do, she finds her own way.

Eddie and River bumbling and telling Mina about the magic sanctuary. I wish River had saved Globgor bc it would really show he can be competent and would also be cute bc dad solidarity

Mina, after being built up as the big bad, was defeated way too easily

Glossaryck, the MHC, (and presumably all of the queens’ spells INCLUDING THE LASER PUPPIES) just. Died. I mean the MHC sucked so oh well about them and glossaryck was kinda the reason this all happened (which btw is very confusing. Why did he give the first queen the wand if he knew all this crap was gonna happen anyways?) so I’m not super sad about him but Star’s spells didn’t deserve that, nor did the other queens’, or the laser puppies!!

The fact that Moon and Star grabbed tha alligators by the eyeballs. I know that this is such a small thing but in the series finale for the main character to still be doing stuff that hurts other characters like that and for it to be treated as a joke...it just sits bad with me. They’ve tried to develop Star, and been mostly successful, but for her to still be doing stuff like this and being a bad girlfriend to Tom and spontaneously deciding that she hates magic and needs to get rid of it no matter what happens to magical creatures and such after she’s supposedly grown so much just seems counterintuitive and bad. Like I swear Star’s my favorite character (bet that’s a surprise with how much I’ve talked about Marco this post) but sometimes it’s so hard to like her it’s annoying

Mina lived. I mean what was the point of that? She’s not gonna learn to not be racist towards monsters and it looked like she got pretty killed by the unicorn in the magic dimension so like. What’s the point of her coming back

All the cruelty towards unicorns. I mean, the firstborn DIED. We saw her SKULL. What the F*CK that’s messed up! And the other unicorns died too, and the dark one also disappeared except for its skull. What was that about?! Were we supposed to just not care bc they’re made of magic? Bc if so that didn’t work

No but seriously it’s so messed up that Star’s unicorn daughter DIED and we saw her SKULL and it’s just treated as a joke what the hell that unnerved me sm

It was very anticlimactic how there weren’t any real challenges to the Butterflies destroying magic. Neither Mina nor the evil unicorn got anywhere close and for the series (not just season but SERIES) finale, you would think there’d be more of a final fight, and more tension/suspense so the final payoff seems more satisfying. Idk I just thought it went way too fast, especially for the actual end of the show. I thought the full time should be used for fighting Mina, not starco development (and I say this as a person who likes starco)

The cheek marks being gone. I know it makes sense with the plot of getting rid of the magic, and because mewmans were originally just humans, but since I didn’t like the magic-being-deleted plot line and because I have some sort of sentimental attachment to the cheek marks apparently, I don’t like that they’re gone

The uncertainty towards Tom/most characters from other dimensions’s fates. Again, I like starco, but even the most die-hard starco shippers probably think that the way characters who weren’t Star or Marco were just written off was unsatisfying, right? In particular, Tom deserves WAAAAAAAY better than he got. And Kelly, is her dimension merged with Mewnearth? Was the vision Ponyhead was describing actually what happened to her?

Ahh, I’m not even in the mood to write a beautiful review as I was doing in the last few week, mostly because I feel so sad for Tom. He’s always left behind as if he were some kind of rock in the way for things to happen. He’s so much more, he’s done amazing things for Star and Mewni. I love him so much, he deserves better. But deep down I knew he would be left behind once more.

And it seems the svtfoe crew is not ready for a poli relationship. They are aiming for Starco, it’s pretty much clear to me as they simply got rid of Tom to make room for Star and Marco. I would be more than happier for this happen IF Tom were also there, since I’ve been always rooting for Stomco.

I miss the subtle hints. It’s been centuries this cartoon throws metaphors at our faces. But I guess this closure needs to be explicitly canon. My theory is that Starco was planned since day 1 and they couldn’t change that now, even when the fandom is divided. (why divide when we could have it all, though?)

It’s something I’ve recently discovered reading Voltron’s meta. There’s a book which the crew follows strictly, no matter what development the characters may have through the series. I couldn’d find this post anymore and thus I forgot its official name, so I’m gonna call “meta book” for easy understanding. In this book, Shiro was planned to die and remain dead. But the execs wouldn’t let this happen, so they couldn’t follow the meta book anymore. Alright, so for the second arc (season 3-4-5), since they had to “stand” Shiro instead of their previous guidelines, they decided to explore Shiro’s relationship with Keith. Everything was fine.

But have you noticed how the third arc was so off from the previous seasons? This happened because they were following the meta book. They did gave Shiro a spotlight when they presented us with a gay character, but it was just an easy way to keep him important while he was left behind from Voltron’s main arc. Yes, he was Atlas’ pilot, and this is amazing. But he was barely a main character in the last season. He barely interected with Keith! After all that “I love you” drama, they were like strangers in season 8. The same goes for Lance and Allura. The crew really intended to create drama with something else - by that, I mean Klance - but since day 1 Allurance was there to become the main plot for these two. Only they screwed up even with the only canon thing they could give us lol. Felt betrayed by Klance? Felt betrayed by Sheith? Felt betrayed by Allurance? It’s the goddamn meta book. They wouldn’t change it unless the execs told them so. A dirty trick indeed.

I guess the same goes for Star. Tom was terrible at first. He was a toxic character. But guess what? He changed. He became such a beautiful, special character. And for what? Drama purposes. It would be so much easier hating Tom and root for Starco than watching a love triangle, and for the worst, while the crew always knew Starco would be endgame. It was all written in svtfoe meta book. Yeah, it’s sadly a dirty trick, as I pointed out.

It doesn’t mean I’m blaming Daron and the crew. No, I love them. I love the things they’ve accomplished. Star is so much more than a stupid love triangle. Most of my rage is actually pointed to the Magic High Commission. I’ve always wanted to love Hekapoo, but I simply can’t. And this makes me so mad. They’re just a bunch of racists and I want them ripped off from existence ugh.

On the other hand, it saddens me such a beautiful crew sticked to their previous idea when they could accomplish so much more. Bi  Star, bi/pan Tom, trans!Marco: all subtle yet it’s right in front of our eyes. So why such a lame excuse for a trope? Again, why a love triangle when we could have it all?

The show isn’t over yet, but I’m not dumb enough to keep nourishing hope when it’s crystal clear where they heading to. I don’t know, I’ll keep shipping Stomco and ignoring canon, I mean, this is not new for me. For any of us, I’m sure of it.

I’ll just appreciate the rest of the show. I hope you all do the same. Oh, and for those children who keeping teasing fans over an OTP, I’ll quote Alex Hirsch: “Don’t feed the troll”. They’re not worth it of our time.

Shipping War Realization

I ended up watching SVTFOE and Miraculous Ladybug with my cousin and something about both of shows made me question something. How did they nail shipping debates so well in their show/fandom when RWBY can’t?

I decided to do a bit of thinking about it and other anime’s/shows I watch and from what I can see it all comes down to one major thing; Rooster Teeth made needless shipping drama for Blake. Or should I say, the wrong kind of drama.

When it comes to romance in shows there’s a bunch of tropes but for simplicity sake I’m gonna break it down into two very broad categories. Centered Romance Drama and Non-centered Romance Drama.

CRD are shows where love and romance are the focus so you get things like:

Character A has to pick between two or more people and into both of them. (I’m just sticking two)

Character B+: likes Character A romantically and is given plenty of scenes that validates the pair. They share critical plot moments and hardcore evidence that they are into each other.

Character B-: likes Character A and has plenty of the same material that B+ has. (That’s how you get your twilight drama basically)

NCRD are basically shows where relationships are prevalent but take a back seat to whatever that show is doing. That’s where you get things like:

Character A likes someone and it’s obvious for viewers to tell who.

Character B is clearly endgame. Like it’s super easy to tell no matter what drama is going on with Character A, it’s painfully clear they’ll end with Character B they could be the friend, nerd, villain, crush,ect. We know they’re end game and the show doesn’t even try to hide it.

Character C aknows Character A as well and has a bunch of tender and supporting moments with them. They may or may not just see Character A as a friend but that doesn’t matter cause the viewers know Character B is endgame; and the show displays that.

In NCRD you have calm ship wars and debates (usually) cause even if you don’t ship A and B, many people can agree A and C would be very cute and honestly wouldn’t be upset if it happened.

BlakeSun and Bmblb have been written like CRD which is troubling

Admit it or not both of these ships and very strong evidence and plenty of scenes that make it look like either could win. That wouldn’t be wrong but there’s one problem...

RWBY 👏 is👏 not👏 about 👏 romance👏

Blake is not even the real main character. She’s a main character but you know....she’s not Ruby. There’s no reason why who she might be with to be so up in the air; Rooster Teeth could just tell us who she’s into/will be with cause honestly it’s not/shouldn’t be important overall!

The main drama is saving the world! The tragedy about this situation is when we all finally get that one thing that completely canonizes who Blake end up with, the loser has every right to be upset. Rooster Teeth baited you for no reason. If Bmblb was always endgame then any scene with Blake blushing at Sun and the adorable moment of him meeting the parents was there as bait. If Blacksun is canon then any Bmblb moment with Yang and Blake exchangeing longing looks and the hand holding was meaningless bait.

To the winner of the ship war I only ask one thing; comfort your opponent. You’ve both been fighting over something that could’ve been avoided if RT didn’t play both sides and said outright what their intentions are. Let’s make peace and not war.

Five Nights of Flirting, finally got a Good Ending in them.

well the Romance ones, even if one of the characters didn’t really say they were but kind of implied it,

it is nice that they made them Ace.

well I’m Aceflux, well technically Aroaceflux.

I still find romance interesting and well do some shipping.

plus it is still possible for those who are Ace to get crushes

or fall in love, plus there are different forms of romance

that doesn’t always have to be well the intense version.

like a tender kiss on the forehead or on the cheek.

just hanging out and watching shows or movies

or reading comics or playing video games you love.

 anyway I had successfully got the Romance Endings

with Jeremy and Fritz. (in two different timelines, not at the same time.)

just need to try to get the others, and maybe I will get to a True Ending.

Purple Guy is perhaps gonna be difficult for me.

it be nice if hospitals had two types of doctors,

ones that treats well the seizures that actually needs medicine in the form of pills.

and the other giving advice to just move to a place with less negative

not all seizures will be the type that needs pills.

but try telling doctors that, hey if someone goes through withdrawal

don’t just put them back on the pill thinking they need it.

they NEVER needed them in the first place, they needed to get away from the town because it is that place that was causing the dang seizures in the first place.

I....went through withdrawal before, even if now I believe I never truly needed them, just needed to move far enough away from the negative energy......

I think it is possible, when I thought I was being touched

but no one was touching me....I think it might of been something else that I couldn’t see that was perhaps, really touching me.

like you being touched on your arm or back.

I wish doctors didn’t misdiagnose so much.

not all seizures are gonna be the same, and some spiritual doctors would be nice to see too.

I can’t help but be, concerned about staying in a room too long

if I start to pick up certain energies...

plus I’m gonna try to take a break from using my pendulum,

so gonna try not to use it too much.

but only use it once in a while.

also if it is possible that those from a distant future

are messing with timelines,

and that is why I remember a story I was told before

that has to do with someone in my family....

then well I can only hope the ones messing with timelines,

will stay in their own timeline, and stop breaking reality.

timelines can become more fragile the more you try to tamper with it.

plus it is possible those who try to tamper with it,

will get karma, so it is best for them to stop before the karma becomes really REALLY bad.

even if you do try to correct the changes that were made,

that would most likely cause problems too, but you should only fix it

if it truly 100% needs to be corrected back to how it was

before some human messed with it.

if that is true, that would be on my list.

I’m Semi-Misanthrope, I still like humanity but there are ugly parts of it that makes me disappointed.

so there are still good, even if there are the bad mixed in there too. 

Starlight Glimmer did the same thing, but what if she wasn’t the first?

what if Sunset was the original element of Harmony,

but Celestia changed the Pony version of her friends memories.

 but in theory, if Starlight made one more change in history

it would of most likely cause a break of all reality.

I think those timelines that were created, still exist

but are now Alternate Universes, still having existence.

but not being part of the Main Timeline.

or the Beta Main Timeline, while the Alpha Main Timeline

is the one where Sunset came from I think.

 I still love SVTFOE and MLPFIM,

but I just don’t like how they seem to blame the scapegoats

for what Discord, Moon Butterfly and Mina Loveberry started.

even if some fans aren’t fans of Steven Universe Future

(and that’s okay, not everyone has to like it.)

at least that show didn’t pull the same Broken Moral Compass.

the endings of those two shows were awesome,

like Luster Dawn seems like a really interesting and awesome character.

and the whole dimensions in SVTFOE, merging is awesome.

also I’m starting to wonder if Glossryck really did die

or if no longer being bond to SVTFOE’s Realm of Magic,

left him free to explore the Multiverse.

after noticing in the magic book of spells,

that had Glossryck’s to do list.

I believe in theory he is secretly alive,

even if it is off screen, and fans might need to figure it out.

 I also believe it wasn’t Toffee who corrupted Star’s Wand or the Realm of Magic, that was Star.

it is possible the Dark Magic was always in The Butterfly Family.

well Negative Emotion Magic.

Toffee was never in the wands, he was just speaking through from where he was in the Realm of Magic.

I can’t be the only one who is noticing the habit

where Heroes kind of pull a Anti-Hero move

and don’t even bother to punish the ones who started the problem in the first place.

once more I still love those shows,

I just am not a fan of the Broken Moral Compasses moments,

like Star deciding to place the blame on Magic for her problems,

but it isn’t magic that was to blame, it was her family misusing it.

or the whole Cozy, Chrysalis and Tirek being turned into a statue.

I’m not sure if Discord even got punished for bringing those three together or for everything else he’s done that leads up to it.            

 I wonder if it’s weird to kind of start to see

Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup

as Cozy, Chrysalis and Tirek’s Reincarnations.

like Buttercup being Chrysalis’s Reborn Self,

Blossom being Tirek’s Reborn Self

and lastly Bubbles being Cozy Glow Reborn Self.

of course that would be Fanon, and not canon.

Star vs. The Forces of Evil: Thoughts on the Series Finale

SvtFoE just concluded a few days ago, and to be perfectly honest, Im incredibly conflicted.

I've been putting this off for a little while now, since I've needed to time to gather all my thoughts and criticisms of everything that happened in the finale.

Firstly, I don't think they needed a full hour or so to properly wrap things up, like other people have stated.

Instead, more time should have been devoted to the plot and Star in general.

The very strange thing is, despite how much of a threat Mina is, and clearly was in the past few episodes, the writers decided to severely downplay her in favor of revolving mostly around Star and Marco's relationship.

I'm sorry, but in a show as engaging as SvtFoE, romance shouldn't really be the priority in the FINALE, the SERIES finale mind you.

Alot of time gets wasted on the two obsessing over being with each other and it's honestly sickening.

Like, I never cared for Starco, but I really feel like they shouldn't have wasted time with Marco/Jackie Tom/Star, if these two were obviously gonna be endgame.

Had they gotten together waaaay earlier, as they should've, let's say, Season 2, I probably would've felt more about them supposedly being forcibly separated after just getting together.

Another thing that really bothered me was that Star literally just broke up with Tom a few episodes ago, so basically, the relationship was entirely one-sided, and Star was forcing herself to cry during the breakup, and forcing herself to simply be in the relationship with Tom, since she was absolutely, head-over-heels for Marco at that point.

Just feels so rushed and forced, but whatever.

Something that really urked me, was the fact that there was no final battle between Star and Mina, y'know, one last confrontation between Star and the primary antagonist of the season.

No, she just, convienetly is out of the picture thanks to one of the stupid corrupted milhorses, and that's it. She can't even postpone the destruction of Magic or anything.

In my opinion, two, actually cool situations could have played out here.

So, y'know being in the Realm of Magic and all, this should've powered up Mina even further, and Star as well, they're surrounded by pure Magic, so, why shouldn't it empower them?

And then there's some epic final battle between them, maybe Moon and Eclipsa fight alongside Star, Hell, maybe even Tom and Marco get in on the action, and maybe Mina's so powerful here, that they just barely stop her, and while she's temporarily incapacitated, bam, they destroy magic, y'know? Something cool like that.

The other scenario that could play out, is the one that would've been FIRE.

So, the show established a Multiverse exists within the show's universe.

This is seen in Mathmagic, where we get a glimpse of various versions of Star in different universes and timelines.

Now, IMAGINE, if in the Realm of Magic when Mina shows up, Star tries to fight her, but she's too strong or whatever, so she opens up several portals to enlist the help of herselves to help her battle Mina, that would've been so cool, and would have killed two birds with one stone.

1. A proper final confrontation that is epic and different from all the other battles in the show.

2. The show has it's first and only "Multiverse Episode"

Just feels like a missed opportunity to me.

But what do we get?

Oh boy! More Starco drama!

Well, not before they successfully destroy Magic.

I did think it was really nice to see Solaria's spirit, or whatever it was, finally accept Meteora, she just kind of touches her cheek and smiles, it's a pretty sweet moment.

And Glossaryck's last (actual) line is kind of sad to be honest.

Something that really freaking bothered me was the fact that both Star and Marco chose each other over their friends, FAMILY, and HOMES.

Sorry, but I'm just not buying into this whole

"uwu we belong together forever uwu" crap

Like, they should've been together ALOT longer than a few episodes if dialogue like that was to be warranted and for non-Starco viewers to even care about them being separated.

Wait, there was one thing I forgot to mention that happens during this RoM part.

Marco literally is impaled around his stomach by Tom's corrupted Milhorse, and the crazy thing is, he just WALKS it off.

Like, I understand that after Magic is destroyed, the wound disappears, since that's obviously a magical wound, but, he walked around for a good long while BEFORE Star successfully destroyed Magic, so... He just, walks it off???

There's no logical reason for Marco to be able to endure a wound like this, he's fifteen, he's a CHILD for crying out loud.

So, that was shown in the trailer specifically to clickbait everyone, but there's actual pay-off at all.

Marco is able to literally flip one of these horses by the freaking horn, AFTER HE IS WOUNDED.

I feel like, obviously Marco shouldn't just fall over and die after being impaled, but I feel like he should've had to lean on Tom for the rest of the time here, like, there's no plausible explanation as to why he is able to walk this off like nothing happened.

But that isn't the only thing that has no logical explanation.

I know I'm covering most of the negatives so far, but just so you know, I actually was digging this episode for the most part, up until the last two minutes.

Moon and Eclipsa helping Star destroy the Magic was nice and dandy, and finally seeing Eclipsa's and even Meteora's Butterfly forms was pretty sweet.

Finally discovering why Glossaryck loves pudding was actually kinda funny, and served for the plot.

I've hated Ponyhead for a really long time, but she actually made me smile for the first time when she was comforting Star, telling all these stories to assure her, her friends were all well.

And Janna had a similar moment with Marco, where the two, for what seems like the first time, genuinely acknowledge eachother as friends, which was actually really nice.

But then, something has to happen to ruin EVERYTHING.

For a literally entirely unexplained reason, a portal opens between Mewni and Earth, then it explodes, and then Mewni and Earth have merged...?

Oh HEY, Star and Marco can be together at last!

Oh wait, none of this makes any fucking sense.

Is this show honestly trying to tell me, that a MAGICAL PORTAL opened up, despite the fact that Magic was literally destroyed five minutes ago???

There's no logical, rationale, reasonable REASON for this to have happened.

It's all just deus ex machina bullshit Daron came up with just so Star and Marco could be together, great.

Aside from that, there's some very concerning implications as a result of Star's actions that doesn't seem to be acknowledged at all by the characters.

The first thing being, the destruction of Magic means that all magically-based entities will be wiped from existence.

Meaning that entire species have just been wiped off the face of the Multiverse.

Meaning that Star has committed mass-genocide on a Multiversal scale.

And yet no one in the show seems to acknowledge that.

What they should have done, in my opinion, was simply depower all magically-based entities, leaving them to learn how to live without utilizing Magic on a day-to-day basis, that would have been interesting, and far-less scary.

The only one who would justifiably be gone is Glossaryck, who clearly has strong ties to Magic.

I'm surprised a show that is marketed towards children includes a protagonist who commits mass-genocide, and still gets smoochies from her boyfriend.

Woooow.

Another thing is, the Cleaving of Earth and Mewni, isn't exactly beneficial to ANYONE except Star and Marco.

Are humans, mewmans, and monsters, etc going to be able to live together in harmony?

I mean, I highly doubt everything is gonna be all peaches and cream, especially at first.

This probably is going to result in a whole slew of problems, but remember, it was worth it, so Star and Marco could be uwu'ing.

Props to a friend of mine for bringing this to my attention, but Star destroying Magic should've technically erased Meteora as well.

Think about it, Meteora was pretty much reborn through Magic, which would probably make her fall under that magically-based area.

Same thing with Star to be perfectly honest, her original body was destroyed during The Battle for Mewni, and her new body was entirely reconstructed from Magic, meaning that she should've been erased as well.

Which would have made for a hell of an interesting conflict in the finale, but oh well.

Seems like the rules are being ignored if you ask me.

The show unfortunately follows in the footsteps of the Legend of Korra, in which it's final shot and lines are dedicated to shipping, and not the series as a whole.

Which is incredibly disappointing, but oh well.

And then Mina, man oh man...

So Mina is depowered, and Moon offers to rehabilitate her, truly pitying her, and apologizing for using her, (although technically Mina was using her but, whatever)

And instead of Mina finally regaining a bit of her sanity, instead of finally showing some kind of development, instead of finally ending her conquest against monsters, instead of accepting that offer.

Mina just, basically says her racist ideas will always linger in the minds of others, and she walks off into the woods.

Her dialogue and the way she does this is just an absolute joke, like, the writers just downplay her at every possible moment.

The dialogue is clearly supposed to be funny, despite how mentally fractured this woman is, and it just feels disrespectful to the character in general.

Do you want her to be a psychotic, deranged soldier, stuck in her ways, who knows nothing but war and bigotry?

Or do you want her to be a clown, which is it, Daron?

I can't really say I'm satisfied with this ending.

There's too scary and/or concerning implications, unsatisfying resolutions, and questions for this to be a truly good finale.

I think more time should've been dedicated Mina, considering she's the main antagonist of the season, and it's the series finale, and the merging of Mewni and Earth should have never have been a thing.

Star and Marco should've went on with their lives.

The last we see of Marco should have been him going back to school.

And the last we see of Star should have been her giving a speech to the people of Mewni.

I don't know, I was just hoping for alot more, but the end result was just kind of rushed and unfulfilling.

However, when all is set and done,

Star vs. The Forces of Evil was a hell of a four-year ride, I had a blast watching it for all it's 4 seasons, and I'm really gonna miss it.

Something to Argue about...

These are a bunch of thoughts related to the overreaction that followed the announcement of the “curse of the blood moon” episode.

Honestly, I don’t know what group of the fandom you belong to, which ship you like or if you just like/follow the serie for it’s plot, but certainly you must have seen the big conmotion that said announcement caused in the starco fans, to the point where some of them even assured that they had “predicted it/analyzed it/dreamed about it” and once we get on the subject it’s something quite ridiculous to come with it as something one discovered by himself, considering that since 2015 it is known by Daron’s own voice that it was a CURSE (she used that particular name for it when she talked about the episode). In that moment she explained that the curse didn’t produce any kind of love between the affected ones (in this case Marco and star) it only linked their souls for eternity... Daron made this clear as an answer to the insistent questions, and she made it clear that to believe it would produce love was a misunderstanding that Tom had about the curse since he was the one assuming that it would make star love him again.

So, what does this post come for? Well, I’ve been thinking about the fact that the serie is being overly rated and over stimated, causing too much on the smallest things that we have seen already in the past, I have decided myself no to watch some episodes as I lost interest on it due to the main character, my brother has managed to keep me on track of the really important things and he has properly let me know about details that he has noticed, these has convinced me to develop some ideas that I imagine will NOT happen in the show, this I assure it as Daron (being the spinless woman she is and who prefers to be praised instead of doing the show as she meant/imagined to do it) probably didn’t even think as options, this based on the fact that in one of her most recent interviews (around 2 or 3 weeks ago) related to the fourth season’s premier she let us know that she “didn’t have as much control as she wanted on the show, but now she does have it”. For anyone that doesn’t know... Daron tried to start the SVTFOE show in 3 other cartoon channels before reaching Disney, it was rejected on all 3 of them and because of that she was surely more susceptible to accept any change as long as the show was produced, which in time forced on a certain degree Marco and star’s relationship as Marco was gonna be star’s ENEMY, not her friend and probably with the curse of the blood moon they would finally turn into friends.

Before we start, take in consideration the following: the wand and the book ar the most powerful elements on this particular universe of SVTFOE (with them you can access time and space and affect them, create beings and things with your mind as part of spells) and being something so important star uses it as if it was a toy, shooting whatever, whenever and wherever she wants, she ruins it, makes it almost run low in batteries, loses it, breaks it, give it up as if it was nothing important twice! As a second thing to take in consideration we should remember that so far only Marco has seen the blood moon, many thought in it’s time that it was due to Marco kissing Jackie (his TRUE LOVE), under the assumption that “Marco couldn’t be infidelt to star” which... is not possible since we later see that no bloodmoon showed up to star when she was with Tom, either they were loving each other or even kissing on the night, there was no moon to appear at any time! Then we must understand that the moon is reacting to something else and I was announcing that for a while now. Black Magic, that’s it, star was using dangerous magic that could corrupt the soul and we know that in the moment she used the spell to spy on Marco she had her sould linked with someone else, right? With that in mind let’s go to the scenarios.

1.- This idea es the closest one to a “Disney moment” : star for some reason or another won’t be under the curse anylonger, this due to her bathing on the same magical waters her mother, Queen Moon, was bathing on and we saw that it removed her curse from her hands (either that or perhaps when she was ‘reborn’ from the wand during her fight with Toffee had the same effect), leaving Marco aas the only one affected and probably in some serious danger as his soul to have an excuse to make the Mary Sue grow even more, knowing this the main characters will search for some help from Eclipsa, probably from that episode on they will focus on saving Marco’s soul, even worse, this curse might not be cleaned by Eclipsa as the book says and perhaps the one who removed it was Globgor, making him the only one capable of saving Marco. After saving him he will be about to die or some shit and he will be saved by a kiss or stuff like that (Disney moment) and then love can do anything, blah, blah haha, boring.

2.- The curse still affects both of them, being a problem because it affects the wand, making it harder for Eclipsa to make it work for some reasons (honestly, do the show ever gives any reason for the wand to work at all), trobuled by this they will try to find out the reason, finding out that the moment Marco and star danced their souls were linked and Marco got partial control over the wand, this could for X or Y reason destroy everything as the magic in the wand is in some kind of trouble (plot reasons) making the whole planet run risks and some other sheningans, they will have to find a way to remove the curse making Marco and star separate themselves to avoid any future damage, then another disney moment will ocurr as they will meet again after a long time (10 years?) Giving us an open ending with them ‘loving each other’.

3.- Quite similar to the other ones, the difference being that the spell that will cleanse them from the curse will work as a “back in time” spell, making them both forget everything related to the dance and any kind of relationship between after that dance starting from the moment the light touch them, meaning this that Marco won’t have any feeling towards star (he never had any to begin with, hell he didn’t even considered her a girl) and viceversa as it work on star as well, being nothing friends again, each one will return to their lives, free from the curse and any unnecesary magic will surely remember his feeling for his TRUE LOVE (Jackie) and they all will have some fun together, perhaps a day as a vacation or something similar, then star will return to her world.

So, I watched the newest episodes, up to episode 20. 

And.... Yeah, damn, Star planning to destroy Magic certainly is big news. But something else is kinda... eh. I gotta agree kinda with some opinions I’ve seen on my dash on the aspect of Starco and Tomstar. But I also have a strong own opinion on how it was handled.

Yes, Tomstar is a strong ship I support as some might notice. I like the aspect of Star having parallels to Eclipsa with a non-mewman/human boyfriend, but I also believe that Tom and Star don’t have to be together. It didn’t work in their past, and they were drifting apart because they were growing up apart from each other practically -- Star with all what is happening in Mewni and Tom when he went on that trip. And, honestly, it’s nice to see how well they handled the breakup. They both were emotional, but they understood why this is happening. 

What I however am stunned by is how fast Star was back on Marco. Yeah, It was obvious they’ll push this ship. Yeah it was obvious they always had feelings. Yes, they probably are rushing this because there isn’t much left of Svtfoe anymore. Yeah I was hoping the curse being broken would mean we could have just best friends main characters because friendship is valuable, but boi am I wrong.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m cool with Starco. And my Star will be open to both Marco and Tom as romantic interest. Hecc, I will ship Star with anyone who has chemistry with her, doesn’t even have to be from svtfoe.

But Mun is also a big fan of slow burn cutsey romance, or highly emotionally charged romance, instead of a breakup and the next episode she be like ‘hey yea I kinda fucked up and my friends might die now, also u know u said u love me i love u too lol lets be happy’ which just really disappointed me in the development. 

Just remember how Star and Tom got together again. First we had the royal ball where they eventually danced together, while they weren’t on good terms with each other at that moment, they still were able to show off their perfect harmony, with the fire and butterflies lifting them up unto the air... it’s honestly one of my favourite Tomstar moments. And in addition they had a whole episode of Tom trying to become a better person and attending a demoncism which put him through hell and Star was there to hold him to ease the pain... And during their relationship we get more little facts about Tom, how hard he was trying, and about their past relationship, which strengthened that ship immensly for me.

Meanwhile... Starco... Yes we had a lot of development of Star and Marcos relation, but it kind of pales in comparison. It’s spread too thin over multiple season with too much teen relationship drama in between. Which leaves us without powerful scenes of mutual love and trust because they constantly were dating someone else. After the breakup, the magic dimension thing from Marco and how fast Star was to mention that to Marco and admit she loves him too -- it paints Star in a weird light, don’t you think? It was to me... too casual. And how Marco admitted that he had always liked Star -- so why pursue Jackie? Are we gonna act like that never was a thing? Also didnt they give up their memory of when they fell in love when they broke the curse? I would’ve understood the whole admitting to their feelings thing it if it was a ‘now or never’ situation, aka them facing danger and being like ‘im sorry but I have to get this out before we do this bc if we die ill regret not saying anything’, but it wasn’t. Which really disappointing to me.

I’m glad Tom knew this was going to happen, else I would actually be upset, he knew that Star and Marco still liked each other. I’m also glad my demon boy basically said ‘hey im cool if you date Star’ because dating ur bro’s ex (come on Marco and Tom are def good bros) is just not very gucci, so that being included is an important thing for me. 

I’m cool with the Starco ship, and my opinion doesn’t have to be shared, but... what I’m saying is kinda... I kinda feel sad that Marco and Star didn’t get ‘their epic moment of love’ so it ended up for me to be so out of place and influences my enjoyment of this ship.

But... let’s see what will happen in the upcoming episodes, maybe Star and Marco still will get an epic moment together.

So after seeing so many SVTFOE artists putting their starco child (or other ship child) into the Starco Citadel, I figured I would give it a shot and try to do something with the one I made. Though seeing as I can’t draw, I wrote a short something featuring two of mine from different universes.

The air was still as a figure continued to squeeze their way through the vent, undetected by the masses or the sensor system. “Man, the security in this place is laughable, I expected a lot more from the Starco Citadel.”  The figure continued moving until they reached a vent cover that felt like there was steam coming out of it. “And this must be the reactor.”

He took a quick look to make sure that no one else was there before kicking the cover off, throwing his duffel bag down, then hoping down. “The magnetic pulse from the reactor should make sensors here just about useless, that is if they put them in at all.” He rushes over to the nearest control panel and plugged a laptop into it. “Guess they didn’t think anyone would make it this far in the vent, how foolish of all those innocent Starco kids.”

There was a ping from his laptop causing him to smile and begin typing. “Now let’s see, the sensor system is hard wired into the power grid so can’t turn that off without alerting everyone I’m here, but …” a smile crept across the boys face as he continued typing. ”The alarm system is exposed, just turn that off and I’ll be detected, but there will be no signal.”

He closed his laptop and pulled out a phone with a map on it. “Now the royal chambers should be at the very top, going to be hard to get there from the fusion reactor, but without the alarms, there should be no way people can tell that I’m a Manna child and not a Starco child.”

He shoved his phone into a pocket before pulling off his hood revealing his short brown hair. “Soon the royal Starco crown will be mine! And then people will have to acknowledge Manna kids!” He put down his duffel bag and changed from his spy outfit into his normal black hoodie and brown cargo pants and put on a pair of contacts that changed his eyes from brown to blue. “Well, I had better get started.”

He threw his bag back into the vent and replaced the cover before making sure that the coast was clear. Thankfully, there was no one outside the reactor making walking out of the room easy.

He quickly made his way through the halls, passing by a number of Starco kids, many of which had cheekmarks and a few of which began starring at him. ‘The individuality on these guys is amazing’ he thought to himself. ‘I hope the Manna castle has this much uniqueness.’ He quickly continued onward and managed to find an elevator. “And there’s my ticket to the top.”

He quickly ran over and pushed the call button, smiling prematurely as he did. “Only person I have to worry about now is Elizabeth, and see’s busy giving tours to cross paths with me.”

As the elevator doors opened, his smile was quickly faded as his eyes met with those belonging to a girl with brown hair and spiral galaxies on her cheeks wearing a dress that was reminiscent of the night sky. “Isaac?” The girl asked.

Isaac rushed into the elevator and slammed his hand on the close button before covering the girls mouth and scanning the compartment for cameras.

“Andromeda, what are you doing here?” He asked as the elevator door closed.

“You know I could ask you the same thing.” She said as she fixed her dress. “Or better yet, I could just report that a Manna child has broken into the Starco Citadel.”

“Oh come on, lots of Starco kids are sneaking in non-Starco kids.”

“But you’re not being snuck in by someone else, also, none of those non-Starco kids are the spawn of Janna Ordonia.”

Isaac shot her a look before clenching his hands into fists. “Yeah well, how many Starco kids are there who can actually blow up the entire Citadel by losing focus for a few seconds?”

Andromeda’s eyes went wide as she took a few steps back. “You wouldn’t dare.”

“Of all the words you could have used, you say ‘spawn’? Really?”

Andromeda let out a sigh and shook her head. “Sorry, I didn’t mean it that way.” She crossed her arms and looked away. “And I couldn’t blow up the whole citadel, least not by accident. Now what’s your plan?”

“Steal Nova’s crown and to sell on the black market and gain enough fame so that people have to acknowledge the Manna children so we can build our own castle.”

Andromeda had a look of complete shock on her face before slowly smiling and shaking her head. “I can’t begin to tell you the reasons that’s not going to happen.”

Isaac smiled and pulled off the panel for the elevator buttons before plugging his phone into it. “And I can assure you that I’ve thought of every single one of them and prepared accordingly.”

“Oh really? How about the sensors?”

“Turned off the alarm, they won’t realize they’ve spotted me until it’s too late.”

“What about getting to the top floor? You need a special card to access that floor”

“I’ve already hacked the system, we should be on our way there shortly.”

“The main security system that guards her room?”

“Getting through that should be easier for me then my homework.”

“And what about the door to her room? Many have tried but all have fallen short on that obstacle, what makes you think that you will have better luck than all the others?”

The elevator began moving as Isaac smiled towards Andromeda. “Thanks to my connections, I was able to get the code from Sol for twenty dollars.”

Andromeda gave him a disapproving look. “You’re still not going to get out of here with the crown.”

“Not if you tell, will you keep it a secret?”

She shook her head. “I had nothing to do with this, but that’s not what I’m talking about.”

“Too late.” The elevator came to a stop and opened to a long hallway. “Time for phase two.”

Isaac quickly made his way to a nearby panel before pulling off the cover and plugging his phone in again. “This security is laughable, I can turn off every single sensor with ease.”

“This is one of the most sophisticated systems in the entire facility, how do you plan on bypassing them?”

“Like this.” All of a sudden, the lights went out leave the two in the dark. “They shouldn’t have kept this on an isolated system, that makes it too easy to just shut everything down.” Isaac said as before the emergency lights turned on. “Elizabeth is sure to notice that though so we need to move.”

Isaac rushed over to the far door and entered a code but was greeted with a red screen that read ‘access denied’

“You’ve gotta be kidding me!” Isaac said as he tried to enter the code again only to get the same results. “Sol gave me a bad code.”

“And you’re surprised?”

Isaac ignored her as he tried to think of a solution to this conundrum. “I got it!” He punched in a new code and the screen turned green and read ‘approved’

“What did you type in?”

“Connor’s birthday.”

“Of course.”

The door slowly opened revealing a lavishly decorated princess’s room with a small tiara with a pink joule in the center sitting on a chest at the foot of the bed. “Bingo.”

“Trust me, you don’t want to go through with this.”

“I’m pretty sure I do.” Isaac rushed in, picked up the tiara, and took a moment to admire the craftsmanship. “Finally.”

“ISAAC!” Andromeda shouted. “You havn’t figured it out yet? Nova doesn’t have a crown for her position on the Starco Citadel!”

Isaac looked back at Andromeda dumbfounded. “Say what?”

“Everyone on the Citadel is some form of royalty, so there is no technical princess of the Starco Citadel!”

Isaac looked back to the item in his hand and flicked it resulting in a dull thud. “It’s plastic.” He examined the fake once again until he found something written on the underside. “You are totally …” The look on his face went from one of confusion to one of annoyance. “Busted.”

Just then, everything in the room faded leaving only sleek metal walls and a small pedestal where the tiara was. It was also at this time that metal bars came down in the doorway, blocking Andromeda off from Isaac.

“Well this can’t be good.” Isaac said as he looked around for an escape.

“Attention Manna child.” Came a voice over the intercom. “Congratulations, you are the tenth Manna child to sneak into this facility, and the tenth to have made it this far, here is your complementary Starco Pen.” A small hole opened in the wall allowing a small mechanical arm to extend and give Isaac a red pen that had the word ‘Starco’ printed on the side. “You will now be ejected into the cold harsh vacuum of space, have a nice day.”

“Crap.”
