#And that being upset at her literal murder (even if it was an accident—which it was not) is bad and evil.

I see this held up as major proof of Dean's badness, but couldn't it also be proof of Cas having faith Dean can get past anything without Cas having to change his behavior? The way it's structured the onus is on DEAN to work through it, not others to change or make amends. ---- CASTIEL: You know, Dean, he – he feels things more acutely than any human I've ever known. So it's possible he could work through this. One day, he may explode and let it all out and breathe deeply and move on.
I see what you mean in a general sense, and it's extremely possible that Cas is thinking about his own past fights with Dean and Dean forgiving him, and from the perspective of the critique you have in mind that you're refuting, I agree. But of course deancrit casgirls will forever insist that Cas has never in his life done anything harmful to Dean either accidentally or on purpose, so any time Dean might dare try to hold him accountable for anything, he's actually just making shit up and being toxic and controlling, so here Cas is just apologizing for his own abusive relationship. You can only get their take by being deliberately obtuse/disingenuous.
That said, the context of that line (from 15.13 "Destinty's Child") is Cas answering soulless Jack's question about whether Dean will eventually forgive him for murdering Mary.
CASTIEL: Hey, Jack. JACK: Cas, you know what's good about being dead? CASTIEL: Uh, as I recall, very little. JACK: Well, when you come back, you – you really get into all that life is. Hot, cold, sweet, spicy, funny, scary. CASTIEL: And are you? "Into it"? JACK: I want to be. But I don't... feel things the way I used to. Before I lost my... CASTIEL: Your soul. JACK: I used to feel things. In my bones. It was glorious, and sometimes unbearable. But I felt them. Now, I understand joy or sadness, but... I know those things aren't in me. I understand why Sam and Dean were angered by what happened to Mary... CASTIEL: By what you did to Mary. JACK: Yes. I see that I've caused them pain. And it's clear that things have changed. Especially with – with Dean. Will he ever forgive me? CASTIEL: You know, Dean, he – he feels things more acutely than any human I've ever known. So it's possible he could work through this. One day, he may explode and let it all out and breathe deeply and move on. JACK: How long will that take? CASTIEL: I don't know.
And yeah—I have seen people refer to Cas's little speech here as "condoning child abuse" and other bullshit. Because how DARE Dean not forgive soulless Jack for murdering his mother (something soulless Jack is unable to actually really acknowledge he did). I mean clearly any time someone murders your mom because she made them mad and threatened their sense of security by asking if they're okay and saying their concerning actions can’t stay a secret… That’s just natural understandable stuff! You need to forgive the person who murdered her instantly and if you don’t idk you’re kinda overreacting don’t you think? :/ I mean your mom probably deserved it kind of anyway for reading the room so wrong and talking about getting a person help. And I mean if you don't forgive the person who killed your mom or do anything trying to stop them from hurting more people you're really a child abuser... toward an adult... who murdered your mother in cold blood and is unable to even understand why it was wrong in any sense other than an intellectual one like he read it from a book... preferring to refer to it as "What happened to Mary" instead of acknowledge it as something he himself did because he was mad and felt threatened—which is what he circled back to in "Jack In The Box" too. It's only when Jack gets his soul back that he's able to actually feel true empathy, acknowledge his real actions and the gravity of them, and give an actual sincere apology. Because his soul is actually important—something this fandom refuses, by and large, to notice.
Anyway, this fandom's take on Mary's murder and soulless Jack vs. regular Jack is overwhelmingly a bag of wet third grader vomit and feces so what can one expect?
#mail#soulless jack killing mary is popularly regarded as an accident... but it's pretty transparent that it wasn't?#or rather it was on purpose but he regretted it the second after it happened. but that is still. Something he chose to do. Not an accident.#He saw her as a threat to his relationship with Sam and Dean and he acted.#This is indicated right before he kills her. He admits it outright also right before calling it an accident which unravels that whole idea.#It wasn’t pre-meditated but in that moment he wanted her to die. She was going to tell everyone there was something wrong with him.#And he did not want that.#It wasn't an accident and he can't handle his own culpability because it threatens his belief that he can make things be the way they were#before it happened. Which is why he killed her to begin with! He didn't want anyone to know/think anything was wrong with him!#And just like soulless Jack just wants everyone to forget about it and act like nothing happened and he's fine...#Many fans want Dean to forget about it. They want Dean to believe and say and feel and think that Mary did not matter.#And that being upset at her literal murder (even if it was an accident—which it was not) is bad and evil.#And Sam's great capacity for numbness (which we already saw in season 13) strengthen's their own lack of empathy for Dean#in a situation that in real life they would understand unless they're actual psychopaths.#It's only because Dean is a character in a narrative representing the need/capacity to be loved and accepted at all#that these demands that his thoughts and feelings bend to everyone else's emotional needs become so disturbingly intrusive#dont feed the stans after midnight#and cas is my best friend#hot girl cas

the thing that has been pissing me off the most in those whole qjaiden/fear room situation is the hypocrisy, really (and not talking about the charater hypocrisy even if she was actually being kinda of hypocritical)
i'm talking about the hypocrisy of the vast majority of the fans lmao like when qforever came up and invaded bobby fields everyone went for his ass (rightfully so) but when it's her doing something similar it's ok and she's just being silly! bc apparently it's just her who can have a secret safe spot and have her feelings hurt ig
it's a very curious phenomenon in this fandom that i think it came from it having different povs and each being in a different language probably, but it really seems to me that to some people the only characters that have the right to be defended, and do something wrong and all of that is the ones they keep up with. otherwise, then they can be execrated and all of that
It's because the only characters allowed to be criticized are the Brazilian characters tbh, the English fandom gets really pissy when you criticize their favs, the French fandom is too busy criticizing itself half the time to pay attention to the others, and the poor Hispanic fandom is down to two active povs to pay attention to. But, if you've paid attention over the last several months, it's always the Brazilian characters getting shit for things the other characters have also done.
It's like you said with qForever and qJaiden's parallels here, but there's another parallel between them that people went crazy over last month with the Happy Pills arc when qForever made that fake house for Richarlystone and qJaiden fans went "Good, it's what he deserves", and like. No? Nobody said that qJaiden "deserved" to lose herself briefly in her grief and build Bobby Fields, but qForever "deserved" to be forcibly drugged by Cucurucho and deluded into building a house just like Bobby Fields to memorialize his son as best as his fuzzy mind could.
And then there's everybody always giving qCellbit shit for him infiltrating the Federation and pretending to be Normal about it while actively encouraging qFoolish's very similar arc, because qCellbit is apparently the evil one here because he isn't telling other people, even though he has been telling people it's a literal infiltration mission for months now.
qForever starting to sort of get along with Cucurucho? It means he's been corrupted by the Feds and he's evil and should be kicked out of office. qJaiden being actual best friends with Cucurucho? She's just being silly!
qBad being right for getting upset over characters getting into his closed-off areas of his base versus the English fandom getting very angry at Brazilian fans getting annoyed over qJaiden breaking into a very very very closed-off area of qCellbit's base.
qFoolish was just silly when he arrested qPac and qMike, but I can guarantee that if it was qMike arresting qFoolish or something that he'd be given so much shit for "false imprisonment" or something. Because that's just how this fandom works.
This issue used to actually apply to the Hispanic characters, too, because I remember the English fandom getting furious when qVegetta set up turrets specifically because qBad kept breaking into his house back in early April, because that was unfair!! qSpreen challenged qBad to a fight and, if he won, he was going to be allowed to take one of Dapper's lives was evil and irredeemable, but qSlime running around for several hours trying to murder every single egg on the server was just him being silly. qMariana being called a murderer for legitimately accidentally misclicking poor Flippa versus qSlime killing Tilin being called an accident (which it was, to be clear.)
I can guarantee that qRoier would have gotten So Much Shit from the English fandom back in April if they actually watched his pov and realized that he was the one that started spreading rumors about qQuackity trying to kill the eggs and effectively rigging the Strip Club Interrogation to make qQuackity look more evil than he actually was and basically singlehandedly causing poor qQuackity's downfall just as he swore to in early April that the English fans would have been furious. But, because he doesn't interact too often with the English members outside of Foolish and Jaiden, he's labeled Just A Silly Guy and he's promptly ignored, which is probably for the better tbh considering how they treat the other Latin American characters.
TLDR; the English characters are the only ones not allowed to be criticized while the Latin American characters are always the ones criticized, especially the Brazilians, and it's super fucking weird considering this is a global server and everything
#asks!#anon!#discourse ig#just something i've noticed#because i've been here since literally stream one

Jack couldn't shake the feeling he had when he got home. It wasn't a bad feeling but more of a curious feeling. Had his parents really talked about him the way Mrs. Fletcher had described? I wasn't like he kept in touch with them like that. He would call for holidays but he rarely visited. He never really felt like going back made much sense because of how independent they seemed. Once he left, it was like they had just started living again. He walked out of the kitchen with a mug of tea that Dr. Carty recommended to calm his nerves at night and sat it next to the piano.
He sat down on the bench and grazed his fingers over the keys, not applying enough pressure for sound. He remembered what it felt like hearing his father play the keys while his mother played her violin in the early evening hours during the weekends. It was hard to think about his childhood now that he knew the truth about his brother and what happened to him. It was hard to think about the things he had blocked out from being a kid that his father only brought to light in his own death.
His fingers started playing the keys without thinking and he almost felt hypnotized by the sound.
"Pick up your tempo Jack. You know this song isn't meant to sound depressing." His mother's voice crept into his head making his fingers stumble. He shook his head trying to clear her from his consciousness. She was the last one he wanted poking around in his brain. The more he played, the better it sounded. He didn't hear the door open but when the floorboard creaked, he looked over to see Y/n standing in the living room behind him.
"Sorry it was so pretty, I didn't want to interrupt." Y/n explained.
"It's fine." He gave her a soft smile and waved her closer. She sat down next to him on the bench and watched him continue to play.
"I just wanted to thank you for coming by and talking to my mom. You were all she could talk about until she went to sleep." Y/n smiled at him.
"Hopefully that's a good thing." Jack smirked.
"Oh it's a nice change from her trying to set me up with literally anyone that comes to the front door." Jack couldn't help but laugh at the thought of the very homosexual mailman being pressured to ask out Y/n by her well-meaning mother.
"I just hope she didn't say anything to upset you. I know we really haven't talked much about your parents but she did mention it was an accident." Y/n didn't give her condolences but she did put her hand on his leg which gave him comfort.
"Y-yeah. They were going on some sort of trip. They did that a lot. The accident report says something must have run out in the road to cause the wreck. I was pretty close with my dad, not so much my mom." Jack explained and watched Y/n's hand rub comforting circles into his leg.
"I kind of had a mental break when I came home last year to deal with it all. They said it was a fit of hysteria. Seeing hallucinations of my dead mother, I thought maybe she was the reason for all of the bad shit in my life and tried to murder her ghost. It was a real show." He tried to laugh it off and Y/n turned her body towards him. He let his hands fall to the tops of his jeans and she stroked his hand carefully.
"Apparently my father had a lot of demons he didn't feel like he wanted to share with me until after his death. Also explained a lot of my mother's resentment towards me too. A part of me wishes I never found any of it but I guess if I was going to find out I was molested by a neighbor and his brood of pedo friends, he didn't want to be the one to have to sit with me in therapy." Jack had never verbalized anything about his sexual assaults to anyone. Dr. Carty could barely get him to acknowledge that it was real when they first started doing sessions together but it made the local news so there was facts backing up what he tried to chalk up to delusions.
Jack waited for Y/n to stumble over herself apologizing or to pull away from him in disgust but she didn't. She couldn't to stroke his hand until he glanced over towards her, trying to meet her eyes.
"Linda is actually my adoptive mom. She was my case worker before she adopted me but my birth father would molest me until I was about nine. One of my babysitters actually called the police when she noticed all the bruising in places no child should have any. I got super lucky with her. She treated me like I was her own, never pushed or prodded when it came to treatment. I even still attend a lot of those sexual assault survivor groups." Y/n opened up to him and he hadn't noticed he had flipped his hand over to hold her hand while she spoke about her childhood trauma.
"I had no idea about that shit happening until I came back here. I still can't really remember it." Jack squinted like he was searching his brain.
"Sometimes its better not to search too hard for those memories. Our brains tries to protect us from shit we don't need to drag to the surface because it didn't make us who we are." Y/n gave his hand a squeeze and he finally met her gaze.
"And if you decide you want to try to figure it out, you aren't alone." Jack couldn't understand how freely she spoke about things that were so life altering with him. They've only been friends a few months and he barely wanted to talk to Shanda about it when he found out.
"How are you so...open about all this shit? I mean your mental health shit and your trauma? I'm still in the stage where I feel like a piece of shit psychopath every other day." Jack felt her grip tighten on his hand.
"There is freedom in knowing that bad shit has happened to you but it's not you. I wasn't always this well adjusted." She added with a laugh bringing his hand to her mouth and kissing the top of it.
"You're smart, Jack. You're capable of being free from the the things that happened to you. We all have bad shit but how we move through life is up to you." Y/n tucked his hair behind his ear and he leaned into her hand.
"Have I told you that you're probably the best thing I've discovered since coming back home?" Jack smile softly and Y/n rubbed his cheek.
"No but a girl doesn't hate compliments." She returned the smile. She didn't stay too much longer after their conversation because she said she had to work but Jack didn't feel overwhelmed when she left.
Typically when talking about the wounds in his life he felt like he would instantly retreat within himself and need to call Dr. Carty but not tonight.
Tonight, all he wanted to think about was the next time he would get to see Y/n. Talk to her. Be in her presence. Touch her. He just wanted something in his life that made him feel good and she was quickly becoming that for him.

My Headcanons On How All of the Vees Died :D
Hi! I’ve seen some people talking about how the Vees died, and I decided I wanted to give my own two cents :) (Warning: I ramble a lot)
Velvette:
Starting with Velvette because my headcanon for her is the shortest. I think she died in a car accident because she was texting and driving, or using her phone in some way. She was most likely behind the wheel and not paying attention, ran a red light unknowingly and was smashed in the collision. Something along those lines that could have been easily prevented by not being negligent.
Another thought: Maybe instead of texting she was trying to take a photo of herself for a social media post? Idk, same sorta idea though.
Vox:
I’ve seen people theorizing that Vox died from a seizure, and I agree. Specifically a tonic-clonic seizure (this is the type you’d probably immediately think of when you imagine someone having a seizure).
I think he was probably watching one of his shows on TV (I headcanon he was a news reporter or smth for a large TV News company, probably his own). Suddenly the TV lost its signal and the screen went static, this caused the seizure and he ultimately died from it. As some other people have pointed out, when Vox gets more upset/uses more of his powers he tends to have red lines appear on his screen coming from his mouth. It looks a lot like blood, and sometimes when people have this specific type of seizure they bite their tongues or lips, causing them to bleed.
Another pointer to him dying of a seizure: he can wield electricity and can use it to travel wherever he pleases along with other powers relating to it. From my understanding, seizures are when the brain malfunctions and rapidly and uncontrollably sends electrical signals. I know it’s not technically the same type of electricity (electrons vs ions), but it’s still just something to think about. :)
Valentino:
I have lots of ideas for Val, and out of the three Vees I think his death is the most up to interpretation. We really don’t have many hints to what it could be at all, which I think is fun. I also haven’t really seen any theories for him, so if this matches up with your headcanon let me know! I also have multiple different theories, so I’ll talk a little about each.
Theory one: murdered
Val was probably a pimp while he was alive too, and I think there’s a good chance one of the people he “owned” finally snapped and in an act of desperation to escape, they murdered him. A friend and I were talking on how he might have been murdered. My friend suggested that maybe one of his workers poured some cyanide into his drink, or messed with his drugs. I think these are both valid ideas, and likely.
Another theory along the murdered idea: he was gay and someone discovered he was gay. Obviously in the 70s being queer wasn’t widely accepted yet, and I think it’s very possible that someone found him out and killed him for it.
Theory two: Overdose
I’m not sure if it was on purpose or not. Maybe one of his workers increased his dose while he wasn’t looking, or maybe he was miserable and decided he didn’t want to deal with life anymore. It also could have been completely accidental, and he shut his own book without even knowing.
Theory three: Illness
Probably the most likely out of all of these is that Val died of some STD or other terminal illness. Again, assuming he was a pimp in life and slept around a lot, there’s a good chance he picked up some deadly STDs. He technically died before the AIDS crisis, but there are still plenty of other options that he could have contracted.
But how does any of this relate to him being a moth?
I have literally no idea and frankly it is stumping me immensely. The best my friend and I could come up with was that while dying (slowly, of poison potentially) he was blankly staring at a light or something? Again, I really don’t know what to do with his moth appearance. Maybe he died on a summer night? I genuinely can’t think of anything very meaningful or concrete that I could relate to him being a moth demon. So hey, if you have an idea on how to incorporate that let me know, I’d love to hear! :)
Okay this got really long but I can’t help but ramble. I’m especially curious as to what people’s headcanons are for Valentino’s death. And if you actually read through all of this, props to you and your patience for all of my tangents <3

something else about the soulless jack arc that rlly … peeved? me is that it gives us both Jack’s and the Winchesters/hunters’ perspectives, but fully plays out as if we the audience are unaware of what happened between jack and mary. it’s still very heartbreaking and gutting nonetheless, but it’s also very inconsistent with how it intertwines the two. following jack, we see him and mary argue and we see him melt down and kill her and we see him feel guilt and grief and fear for it. we know it was an accident and we know that he’s been driven to a point of instability by his own guilt and we know he wants to fix it and we even see jack make an effort to do so.
however, following TFW and Bobby and company, we see them argue about what could’ve happened. Cas suggests that Jack didn’t realize it was wrong (which also implies that everybody automatically assumed jack killed her purposefully, literally giving him no leeway here). Bobby declares that theres nothing left in jack but Lucifer with his human soul gone—that he’s an unstoppable monster who has to be put down just like any other MOTW. Sam and dean argue if Jack is even still Jack and how they should approach it from there. seeing Jack’s own family discuss if and how to stop him does give some tension, but there is zero suspense because —
1) sam and dean knew from Rowena that Jack was trying to resurrect mary; they saw him bring her body back and they saw the anguished look on his face when she didn’t wake up and they heard him say “it didn’t work,” —so that’s already a huge chunk missing, and —
2) we already know the answer to every question they’re posing. instead of suspense at wondering if Jack finally tipped over the edge, we’re dreading the eventual confrontation because we know what they don’t know, and what they do know concerning Rowena and Jack’s failed spell was left out of the entire conversation after it happened.
when jack is on tv and making headlines as a doomsday bringer and dropping bodies for sam and dean to trail, we can’t be in shock that he’s doing something so out of character because we saw Duma manipulate him, saw what she promised him, and we know he’s well-intentioned despite his horrific actions (also, having jack torture/murder ppl for the sake of his family is something he’s already done before, it’s just taken to a new level without his soul to hold him back). everyone is following the narrative that jack has finally gone awol or succumbed to his true nature or whatever, and that is very much played intentionally as the teetering “will he, won’t he” question hanging around jacks entire character. but again, we don’t feel any of the suspense that question typically carries in a story because it’s already answered for us.
you cannot reasonably expect the audience to be in awe and suspense and believe jack is full blown big bad now while repeatedly showing us that jack still has good intentions. Hell, even the scene where they confront jack to trick him into the Ma’lak box is frustrating, because while Jack’s dismissive blame-shifting demeanor about Mary’s death is a reasonable tipping point for sam and dean’s anger and subsequent actions, there’s also the fact that jack very bluntly says things like “I didn’t think I’d see you again / I really missed you guys / I just want everything to be back the way it was,” that purifying the world is “like hunting,” and further more he even agrees to be locked up because, soul or not, he genuinely doesn’t want to hurt anyone anymore; all which very glaringly points to him not being as far gone as we’re supposed to think and worry about.
again, it’s all still very painful and upsetting to watch, but most of the pain comes from the fact that we know the missing details that are creating the conflict and are helpless to do anything with it, rather than the conflict itself.

Also for the Wheatley propaganda, the developers literally admitted in The Final Hours of Portal 2 that they hadn’t thought up an ending for the game yet and they were nearing the deadline so they had to delay it. They admit that the writing quality wasn’t there and that they were having pacing issues so Wheatley’s character motivations leading up to The Part Where He Kills You is abrupt and doesn’t make much sense.
They actually managed to swap GLaDOS and Wheatley’s personalities entirely if you look at the unused lines in the cutting room floor, with GLaDOS saying “We need to ESCAPE now. RIGHT now. RIGHT NOW right now. Fine. SOON. Take your time. No pressure. Oh! Alright. LOTS of pressure now. Actually, I think we're about to die. Any last words? [thinking] Why don't I go first? Hmmm. Regrets.... regrets.... this is hard... Hundreds of test chambers. Thousands of test subjects. At least half of that number filled to brimming with neurotoxin. It's been a good run. Regrets, regrets... Oh! One time, I... No. No, I did kill all of them. Nevermind.” She’s literally using the same speech patterns as Wheatley.
And Wheatley, for some reason is deciding to resort to murder just because Chell isn’t satisfying his robotic drug addiction anymore and he found better test subjects? “You’ve probably figured it out by now but I don’t need you anymore. I found two l it’ll robots back here built specifically for testing.”
Wheatley is far too emotionally invested in Chell to want to resort to murder for such an apathetic reason and his boss battle clearly shows that. Wheatley is HEAVILY emotionally invested in Chell if you actually listen to his boss battle dialogue. He’s upset and hurt and betrayed because he thinks that Chell doesn’t care about him and that she was just using him and planned to throw him away when he outlived his usefulness to her:
"We've had some times, haven't we? Like that time I jumped off my management rail, not sure if I'd die or not when I did, and all you had to do was catch me? Aaaand you didn't. Did you? Oh, you remember that? I remember that. I remember that all the time. And we would have talked our way out of it. Except you forgot to tell me you'd MURDERED her. And that she needed you to live, so the only available vent for her rage would be good old crushable Wheatley. Yeah... Little details that I remember. Easy little tidbits you could have used to save me from getting crushed if you'd cared, which you didn't, obviously. And still do not."
"Enough! I told you not to put these cores on me. But you don't listen, do you? Quiet. All the time... Quietly not listening to a word I say. Judging me. Silently. The worst kind!"
"Oh! remember the time I took over the facility? Greatest. Moment. Of my life. But you? Just wanted to leave! Didn't want to share my success. Well, so you know, I would be HAPPY for you if you succeeded... Apart from right now, obviously."
"Am I being too vague? I despise you. I loathe you. You arrogant, smugly quiet, awful jumpsuited MONSTER of a woman! You and your little potato friend. This place would have been a TRIUMPH if it wasn't for you!"
"And another thing! You never caught me... I told you I could DIE falling off that rail and you didn't catch me... Didn't even TRY. Oh! It's all becoming clear to me now. Find some dupe to break you out of cryosleep, give him some sob story about 'escaping to the surface', squeeze him for information on where to find a portal gun, then, when he's- when he's no more use to you, he has a little ACCIDENT, doesn't he? 'Falls' off his management rail, doesn't he?"
He would not try to kill Chell for not being useful to him. He would try to kill her if he felt personally threatened by her, which is clearly the case if you listen to his dialogue during the conveyor belt where he tries to encourage Chell to kill herself because he’s afraid of having to fight her:
"I'll be honest, the... death traps have been a bit of a failure so far. For both of us. I think you'll agree. And... you are getting very close to my lair...”
"So. Boom. Better offer, here is... just kill yourself! Y'know? It- Lot of effort, isn't it? Walking all the way to my deadly lair, when there's a perfectly serviceable death option right there. Again: Not a death trap, not a death trap. Your death would be entirely voluntary. And very much appreciated."
"Plus, I have put a lot of effort in getting this lair ready for you. So it would certainly teach me a lesson if you simply died, painlessly, twenty feet from the door. I'd be furious. I'd be like RRRRR. I got my just desserts. No more than I deserve. But, uh, teach- Why not teach me a lesson by- by just jumpin' in the ol' masher?"
He even says at the start of the boss battle that he watched the tapes of Chell killing GLaDOS and that he wasn’t going to make the same mistakes. Cold and uncaring apathy is not a driving motivator for Wheatley- especially not with Chell. FEAR AND COWARDICE are his main motivators! The inconsistency here is that Valve couldn’t think up the ending on schedule so they rushed through the pacing, incidentally gave Wheatley a motive that makes far more sense for GLaDOS and neglected the fact that he’s motivated more so by cowardice rather than cold and apathetic utilitarianism like GLaDOS.

Tell us about your characters!
Ok this'll be fun! And very, very long.
Fynn's Dad was a blacksmith. Made weapons for whoever had money. Just so happens the army of hell has a lot of money. He had a one-off fling with a demoness, and was promptly executed. Fynn spent most of his childhood in hell, being taught Demon Magic. He was not, however, taught how to control his emotions or his hunger. Basically, if you make him upset, he'll probably eat you (and not in the vore way, like contort your body into a milkshake eat you). He magicked his mouth out of existence at a wizard convention after a freak accident involving a slight mispronunciation (the demon words for "target" and "area" are very similar, as are "directed" and "indirect"), so he's excommunicated from Wizard Society™. He can't verbally speak anymore, so he uses a mix of telepathy and "air text" to communicate (that's why his dialogue has no speech bubble). He eats by simultaneously teleporting food into his stomach and macerating it.
Nauno was, as a child, abandoned by his parents, who believed they wouldn't be able to survive, as he's rather small and weak compared to their peers. He was adopted by a band of thieves, who raised him to aid in theft (small stature, light feet, and dark feathers makes for easy breaking and entering). This led Nauno to develop Kleptomania, and even after running away (turns out a band of thieves does not make for effective parents of an Avali, their needs were not being adequately met), he continued stealing and exploiting their feminine appearance to lure in wealthy men to pickpocket.
Coincidentally, Fynn and Nauno both met Euphi at the same time in a bar (Drunk guys have a fascinating taste, and make for easy pickpocketing targets, Euphi was just kinda there). They struck up conversation, and eventually realized all three of them are fucked up in some way (Fynn for being half demon and a literal man-eater with no mouth, Nauno for being a Kleptomaniac femboy with a body count higher than they are, and Euphi for somehow finding both of these guys adorable). Fynn saw value in Nauno for bringing in victims, Nauno saw value in Fynn for dealing with misogynists (which have been problematic for them in the past), it was only natural they'd want to cooperate! Euphi was very lonely, and these were the first two in a long time she's ever felt anything special with, so they all agreed that living together would benefit everyone involved. You can call this Polycule formed!
Considering Fynn was homeless (no job, and nobody wants to rent out a place to someone who will eat them) and Nauno was also homeless (on the run from both the police and his adoptive family), Euphi was more than happy to welcome both of them into her life. She also doesn't have a job (not sure why), but heart found an abandoned house on the outskirts of The City (that's the name; The City City, located in Country). They were able to renovate the place to a livable state through a mix of stolen goods and demon energy-based electrical appliances, and now live there as a happy polycule of Murder, Prostitution, Theft, and Willful ignorance.
With this new life setup, they've also been trying to actually help each other become better at fitting in with society. Fynn never really figured out what love is, Nauno never got a formal education, and Euphi's just kinda odd. Heart does make a decent teacher for Nauno (better than nothing, at least), and Nauno's trying their best to help Fynn grasp what love is (all he can really follow is that he loves the taste of human, and loves having people that actually like him).
Euphi honestly treats Fynn and Nauno better than Heart-self, and borderline babies these two "grown" men. She lets them get away with damn near anything, only being concerned when the law could get involved. They can be a handful at times, especially when Nauno lures one of their victims home, but heart would never dare tell them to stop!
Ok... I think that's all I've got for right now. That was a lot... gave me something to do during lunch, at least!
#long post#oc lore#fynn lore#nauno lore#euphi lore#theres probably massive plot holes in this but idc#theres a lot of parentheses in this my god

SaL anon here bestie and still feeling bitchy if you feel like indulging. So I've had a couple of issues this week and the first i'll get to came as a bit of a combination of reading @canonicallyobserving911 latest post and seeing the LS promo with Owen and Andrea (incidentally we've had like 3 trailers and a whole ass preview scene from LS this week alone, WTF is OG's promo dept doing??). I thought the parents-taking-over-the-wedding clip was funny, but made me think when was the last time we
had fun stories/episodes in 911 OG?? And I don't mean one liners or ridiculous emergencies or people making a joke out of one characters actions that actually carry pretty serious implications (glares at jokes getting made about BOTH Buck's cheating and sperm donor arc). I mean episodes that were fun because we know the characters, we know that of course this is how they'd react, and it's ridiculous but real because we all have a side of us that's ridiculous at times. Where did all the fun episodes go?? I tried to think of the last example and I guess you could count the Eddie and Chim with the cursed bracelet thing (which was almost immediately undermined by the fact Chim knowingly bought a murder house 🙄). But I can't think of the last time the show was really and truly being fun.
Second on my things-I'm-pissed-about list is the return of Ravi. Not because I'm upset Ravi is back, I'm thrilled actually, but seriously KR?? After completely sidelining his character in 5b in favor of trying to make L a thing, after literally cutting him out of the HenRen vow renewal photo, after not even mentioning once during 6a where he was but making sure we had a whole damn scene devoted to explain L's absence, suddenly we're supposed to be excited you’re promoting him in the BTS?? I just can't be grateful that it took 1.5 seasons of negative feedback for KR to give people something they want. I hope they have no budget for effects that episode because it all went to pay Anirudh to bother with this show again after his character got so disrespected. Anyway that's my bitchy thoughts for these last few days, enjoy!!
Hello my friend! You have definitely caught me in a salty mood because my family is occasionally infuriating 🙃 I am SO with you and everyone about how LS has gotten all kinds of promos, and official stills from set released by Tim, meanwhile, OG is continuing to languish with barely anything and who knows if what we DO get from the official releases is actually something we’ll get to see.
I also agree with the lack of truly fun episodes. Cursed was trying to be Jinx but where Jinx was all about the firefam and their dynamics, and a fun montage of them doing their jobs, Cursed wasted all it’s time showing us every aspect of some random starlet’s life with barely any firefam (and while Eddie talking to Bobby and Athena was great a) that story didn’t line up with literally anything we’ve ever seen or been told about Isobel and b) it didn’t have Eddie’s continual investigative partner Buck involved). Plus, it didn’t even have a good resolution like Jinx did which gave us a brilliant scene with Eddie talking someone down and into doing the right thing. Cursed spent the whole episode setting up a “the assistant colluded with that guy to cause accidents to her boss to make her believe she was cursed” and then just...didn’t do that and instead had the assistant just skimming money and the guy having some randomly flimsy reason to come after her. But like, who cares? In Jinx we care about the guy (Brian, right?) insofar as he is directly putting the firefam and people in danger by doing things wrong while trying to “help”, eventually making a good-faith call about something that wasn’t actually what he thought it was, and then ultimately stealing the truck from the firefam when they needed to get to a fire where their help was needed. We don’t care about Brian as much as we care about how his actions affect the 118 and their ability to do their jobs. Cursed has nothing to do with the firefam except that they keep getting the calls. We get a little bit from Eddie but it’s never focused on enough to be called the central story. The central story in Jinx is the firefam. The central story in Cursed, even up to the end which SHOULD have been focused on Eddie and Chris (and fucking BUCK because the tsunami came up), is Felisa who the audience doesn’t know or care about. Yes the episode had some laughs, but just like everything in s6, is lacking heart, depth, and focus on characters we actually know and love.
Same with What’s Your Fantasy which was SO wildly all over the place in tone from cute sisters talking female empowerment-turned emergency situation, to murder fantasies, to sex fantasies overlaying a conversation about a child’s crush, to a huge, misogynistic, terrorist plan running throughout the episode. Again, a few cute surface level scenes, but mostly just filler with no consistent tone or through-line for any of the characters. Even back in season 5, FOMO had some funny moments, but again didn’t devote enough focus to main characters and instead spent too much time on some random emergency character having a whole arc, and the episode had a whole tragic ending. Honestly I can’t think if a single other “fun” episode in the whole of season 5, which people can say was the “point” but given that almost nothing got any (on screen) resolution (or any that wasn’t immediately undercut/forgotten) it doesn’t feel like there was a point. Previous seasons did so much better balancing tone throughout episodes, and being able to cut the heaver episodes by moving towards lighter arcs, and then back again. An ebb and flow across the whole season vs a whole oppressive season followed by episodes packed with wildly different stories that tonally do not fit together and leaves the viewers with whiplash. I’m still sooooo frustrated with how the sperm donor (and the cheating) storyline has been turned into a big joke. Especially because we KNOW the potential that was there for a meaty, and emotional storyline and Oliver has consistently delivered GOLD on that kind of stuff. And instead we got masturbation jokes, and jokes about being accosted at work and literally every other mishandled aspect of the arc. 😤😤😤😤
As for your second thing, I’m right there with you in regards to Ravi. Like, they couldn’t be bothered to let Bobby or Buck or literally anyone drop a single line about how their probie had grown and was lent out to the academy for a few months?! Especially after the audience was begging for more of him and irritated that he got sidelined and lost out on screentime and storylines so KR could force L into every little thing. The show KNEW going in to s6 how the fans and the general audience felt about L, and about Ravi, and it definitely feels vindictive and petty on KR’s part to allow no mention of him, even after every single episode had the audience asking where he was, BEGGING for any line about what happened to him, and saying how weird it was that he disappeared without anyone saying anything. For the only mention of him to come not even in the show itself but in an interview after the whole first half of the season was over is such a slap in the face. I hope Anirudh got every single thing he wanted out of coming back (I also hope someone had to grovel at least a little bit) and I hope that the very loud chorus of “FINALLY” from the audience when he’s back will stick in KR’s craw because of how universally beloved he is compared to every other random recurring and one-off episode character she’s tried to force into focus so she didn’t have to actually deal with the main characters of the show. My only worry is that she’ll try to do something to his character out of spite because I absolutely wouldn’t put it past her. For now I’m going to hold on to the joy at Ravi/Anirudh coming back, and excitement at seeing what he’s up to.
Thanks for giving me somewhere to focus my other frustrations today! And in a few days we’ll have some Yehaw wee-woos to flail about. And since we still have some time before our OG team comes back, I’m always here to dig into the salt mine!
#my sweet nonnie friends#sleeping at last anon#911#i'm glad i was too tired to answer this last night because i needed this break from my family today

One thing about my 2013 era of writing is all the stories were in the same universe Final Fantasy style, but this was lost to time as I reworked characters or even full stories.
Such is the case of Penelope from my hacker story. Her first appearance was in fact in my story the imm 9, and her name is Sapphire. There, she was a secondary character, a 6-10yo orphan who had recently lost her sight. But the Protagonist of that story was Chleo, a wanted criminal of sorts. The story starts kind of like a heist movie. But ultimately the story is about the shrewd and jaded Chleo discovering she is very loved (by her friends, who ultimately save her life, family etc), but also taking responsibility for her actions and taking little Sapphire under her care.
Of course what interests me the most about this story is the relationship between Chleo and Sapphire. It is heavily implied if not outright stated that the accident in which Sapphire's parents died (and because of which she lost her sight) was caused by Chleo. Unintentionally, or at least, not with the intention of killing them and least of all harming Sapphire. (In fact, Chleo carries a lot of guilt for this even after the happy ending). Chleo takes Sapphire under her wing and keeps her out of harm's way throughout the journey. We see that she really wants to turn her life around. She will eventually adopt Sapphire as her daughter.
On the one hand I'm surprised that I actually went with this plot point (like if Chleo was responsible even indirectly unintentionally etc for her parents' deaths, why would Sapphire ever trust her?! And Chleo was definitely mostly motivated by guilt, especially at first. She does come to love Sapphire as a daughter, though). But on the other hand, I find it rather heartwarming.
This is my sketch outline of the ending scenes.
In the ending, Chleo survives a gunshot (from the final battle with whichever other criminal idk), and wakes up in the hospital, her friends by her bedside (according to Free it was Max who saved her life, and Sapphire is credited too).
The most interesting part is the text at the end, narrated by Sapphire: "Chleo had finally learned to smile from that day on. From what Max and Free told me, she only smiles at me and Max. But she's still upset that I went blind". At some other point, when Chleo meets her own mother, Sapphire hears Chleo laugh and says out loud "Chleo you laughed for the first time!"
Of course in hindsight I'm like that can't Literally be true, she surely laughed before in her 30+ years of life. But if you take it as the limited point of view of a child who had only ever known her in these tragic, dangerous and dramatic circumstances, then it suddenly makes a lot of sense. And it's very sweet in a way.
During the scene in which Chleo is reunited with her parents, they talk about Sapphire as if they knew her already. Idk what my intent was at the time but this would be compatible with my recent idea of how I'd rewrite this story. Because in hindsight I'm like hello is there no justice system in this world and also no child protective services lmao? Like how would Chleo, who in real life would be a convicted criminal, go about adopting Sapphire?! Legally, that is... And ofc the easiest solution was for them to be close relatives. Such as Chleo being Sapphire's aunt (her mother's sister for example). This would also explain why Chleo's parents knew Sapphire: she would be their grand-daughter either way.
But of course this reinterpretation kinda sanitises the more problematic aspects of the initial idea. Enemies to adoption??? If I had to label in such a tropey way... I mean it really depends to what degree Chleo was guilty for it all. Cause somebody murdering a child's parents and then "adopting" them (read: kidnapping) is appalling and horrifying. Now ofc that's not what happened in my original story. It's a more gray area like idk. Her negligence during some stage of her heist plot or whatever resulted in some explosion. If anybody died during that event it'd be manslaughter not murder. It was definitely not intentional.
Bear with me cause I haven't worked on this story for a decade now so I'm forgetting a lot of my original intent. Wait a minute. I never mentioned Chleo feeling guilty about the parents' death, just about the blindness. Did I just remember these events being linked?! It seems like I did... So then the original idea was that Sapphire went blind because of the accident ultimately caused by Chleo? I mean that's kinda problematic in its own right. If some woman was responsible for me becoming permanently disabled, I wouldn't feel inclined to trust her tbh. I mean Sapphire is just a child and she's very innocent and trusting, personality wise, but still...
I guess this is another thing that can be solved with the reinterpretation/ rewrite. For example Chleo was indirectly responsible for it, yes, but in an even more indirect way, by perhaps having incurred the wrath of some mafia or whatever (I never did establish what crime she even did? Like heist is some type of grand theft but I just never decided on one specific thing), and they took it out on her family. (Or idk. I'm not exactly in a hurry to rewrite perfectly.) And Chleo would still have an arc of righting her wrongs etc and having to come clean. I'm still thinking about it.
The point is that after some very dramatic plot, Chleo became the adoptive mother of Sapphire, also known as Penelope. And for whatever reason, even as early as the first draft of my hacker story (2013-2014), I decided little Sapphire from the imm 9 grows up to be the Penelope from the Hacker story. And in hindsight this is hilarious, because she already went through a capital S situation as a child and then I as the author went like. What if I put her through another Situation about 25 years after the first one?? Lmao tbh.
And Penelope is kinda different as a character from Sapphire but I guess anybody is quite different aged 31 vs aged 6 lmao. Draft 1 Penelope is the Action Girl TM TM. Draft 2 makes her more similar to her slightly shier childhood self. Idk if shy is the correct word. Maybe "soft" is better. I feel like draft 3 strikes a good balance between the two, she's generally a gentle and friendly person, but also passionate and willing to fight for the causes she believes in.
She's also a fashion icon tbh but then again she was raised by Chleo:
Anyway Penelope is just one of the many characters that were moved from one story to another. I will maybe post about the others too. I'm glad I got to reminisce about this, and brainstorm ideas for a possible rewrite. And for what it's worth, I do believe it's best to keep Penelope's backstory as is. It does make sense with her character to have had such an eventful childhood + eclectic upbringing

Prudence Headcanons.
Just thinking about some Prudence lore and wanting to dive into her personality a bit more. Specifically, how possessive and obsessive she gets with people. And how irrational it makes her. Like Prudence could meet someone one time and is suddenly like: We're friends. Or she could've kissed someone once and is instantly like: I'm in love with you. You're my boyfriend now.
She's the type of person that will stalk the people she cares about. She will either stalk people as a means to protect them and keep an eye out for them. Or she will stalk them because she feels paranoid. She's afraid they might abandon her or replace her, so she will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn't happen.
Prudence has also been known to believe that she is the only person anyone needs in their life and gets very jealous if she sees that person with anyone else. She'll be like : You don't need them. You have me and you only need me. Doesn't matter who they're with. Some examples of this could be: a persons relative, their neighbor, a co-worker, a romantic partner, another friend, and so on. If she feels like they're a threat to the relationship she has with the person of her affections, she will kill them without remorse. She's so good at what she does that no murders are ever traced back to her and no bodies are ever found. And she even goes as far as to make people forget she knew the deceased, not wanting the police to catch on. Or if she's not feeling that extreme - which is rare - she will just attack them and make them forget what happened afterwards. There has also been a time or two where she's kidnapped someone who was close to the person of her affections. This usually lead to the kidnapped person being murdered later.
She gets upset when people come to visit her and have to leave. Most of the time she will just gilt trip them or beg them to stay with her a little bit longer. But if they make her mad and refuse to listen, then she might get angry and hurt them. Usually regretting it later and apologizing. Usually the apologies going something like this: I'm sorry I hurt you, but you were trying to leave and I got upset. If you hadn't tried to leave me I wouldn't have hurt you.
Prudence has also kidnapped some of the people she's become infatuated with. But this is extremely rare and usually only happens with uncooperative people or people she thinks might be trying to abandon her.
She has also been known to kill the people of her affections. This has occurred when people have rejected her in a certain way - which lead to her getting angry and being unable to control herself. It has also occurred when she's come to the conclusion that someone is trying to replace her (Master Stine is an example of this). Or when she thinks she's being abandoned by the person she cares about.
However, Prudence is also the type of person who will literally do almost anything the person of her affections asks of her. If the person of her affections happens to be very dominate in nature, then she will be more submissive and docile. Much like she was with Master Stine. I imagine she probably had a bit of stockholm syndrome in regards to him. Though her feelings towards the master were never romantic - they were more platonic I guess? Sometimes she greatly detested him though.
Also, because I forgot to mention this, Prudence will never purposely hurt children or animals. That's where she draws the line. If she does hurt them, it's an accident.
#— ✿ maybe i’m the one who is the paranoid freak oh yeah. › prudence headcanons.#kidnapping tw#kidnapped tw#murder tw#death tw#let me know if i need to tag anything else#i tried my best to tag everything but i probably forgot something

I have so many think pieces on Angie Polaski from “Will Trent” & why that type of woman is real & destroying many lives in the real world!
Angie Polaski needs to be in jail! And I don’t understand how people are upset at Will Trent for doing his job like literally his job! Angie why would you want to man you love & supposedly know so well to compromise his integrity so you can be free. But Angie as a cop who took an oath you had no right letting Crystal go & it was the wrong thing to do not a noble thing to do. Angie swear she is a noble person cause she was an addict so she understands “trauma” so much. So letting Crystal go from her killing Lenny Broussard which was stupid because Crystal would have gotten off for self defense! That’s why I hate Angie she always have to be a white savior & that’s why she stay around Will so she can act like he needs her to be happy.
Angie Polaski is a manipulative, narcissistic, & cunning woman. Being an addict for many years makes you into a manipulative manipulator so Angie is not innocent! I never understood why Angie even out Ormewood in that position to cover up her lies when Crystal did not murder Lenny in cold blood she was defending herself. Angie uses sex to get what she wants look what she did to her doctor after her accident that was so disgusting to watch then she go around Will like she is all over the place & her injuries are hurting so bad but she is such a strong woman she is overcoming the pain. Angie does that around Will so he can be in awe of her ugh it’s disgusting! Angie should never be a cop smh everything she does is annoying & her mind is never clear cause she is always thinking about manipulating something or someone.
Angie Polaski does not LOVE Will Trent! Never have and never will she is a narcissist and they don’t love others. Angie uses Will when she is down on herself or not getting her way she goes to him & remind him of the traumatic past experiences they share together & make him think he only got away from it was because of her. Smh it’s disgusting to watch and Will will never let Angie get away with what she did because Crystal want on to kill other men & now she was dead all because Angie is a narcissist & think she can save the world! I hope she is being written off the show because Angie is not a good person & I am not invested in her character’s arc because a manipulator narcissist cannot get better!

Hiii, anon, I HOPE you see this reblog! xD"
I got caught up, watched the current season throughout to the finale, and remembered this ask.
So, for the most part, I liked the way they handled Buck's queer storyline. For the most part.
I do love a late coming out story, and I did like how much Buck freaked out about it, how absolutely awkward and disastrous he was being around Tommy during their first date.
Too often, the previously straight character who gets retconned into queerness just... goes real smooth, just adapts fully and embraces it in one go. I like when there's some freak out.
I would have preferred there to be a bit more focus on him figuring himself out. I want to see characters who realize they're queer actually sitting their asses down and trying to figure out a label for themselves. And even if they end up being overwhelmed by it all and choosing not to label themselves, I want to see them get to that point.
Because Buck's identity was just... brushed over. There was a bit of a freak out, and a bit embarrassment, and I loved his conversation with his sister, but I really wanted to see more self-reflection, I wanted to see that. Also, a huge fan of shows using terms like bisexual or pansexual in an explicit manner instead of leaving it so open to interpretation when a character likes men and women. Use your words, as a show, to give explicit representation.
I also think that him and Tommy are really cute, honestly. Love the way Buck lights up when he looks at Tommy. Hope to see more of them next season.
Since I do not know if the Buck storyline was even what you were referring to, here are some other thoughts on the rest of the storylines:
The Bobbie/Athena was so good this season, oh my gods, I live for theeem. The struggle with who they are when there's no danger around them. The cruise was... a bit over the top? Like, having there be an abduction and a bomb and a capsizing? Tiny bit overkill, especially considering that when they originally wanted to go on the cruise, it got delayed for the very dramatic storyline of Athena's dad having an accident and becoming a murder suspect. Like. Bit much.
That sentiment also goes for the Chimney/Maddie wedding. The whole dramatics of Chimney going AWOL could have still happened, just on literally every other day, but making it their wedding was such overkill. They have both been through so much, I really think they would have deserved to have that beautiful, fun wedding.
I get it, it's a drama series, but not everything has to be overly dramatic. Sometimes, your characters could also just... experience joy? Catch a break? You are allowed to write nice things happening to your characters too???
Which brings me to Karen/Hen. Gods I love them. I loved how they got Mara. There was so much struggle there, trying to settle in, having her ripped out of the home again was... devastating.
The thing I fully did not care for was Eddie's story though. Like. All the parts. That weird freak out about his girlfriend's time as a nun, making her move out again right after she moved in, then... emotionally cheating on her with the body double of his dead wife? What. I'm actually still trying to wrap my head around that one, that was truly so wild, so unnecessary and absolutely ridiculous in its conclusion. Really? We just let the angry teen decide to move to Texas? Seriously? Look, Christopher had a right to be upset by this, but holy shit he's a child, he does not get to decide that he wants to move out, what the ever loving fuck lol
As a Resident watcher, I was DELIGHTED to see Malcolm-Jamal Warner this season!! And I hope we will see more of him next season. His dynamic to Bobbie was so interesting and good and complicated and has so, so, so much potential.
Honestly, I am baffled by how much story they squeezed into those ten episodes. Plot-wise... it really doesn't feel like this season was that short? It feels like a regular 22 episode season, so much happened. Most of it good, some of it a bit too over the top.
I know once upon a time, you watched 9-1-1. Do you still keep up with it or did your interest in it die? I'm asking because I haven't seen you post or reblog anything about it recently but was curious if you've seen the news about it.
Due to the writer's strike, the break between seasons was so long, I decided to rewatch the last season first before starting the current season!
But yes, I'm still very much watching, I love that show. Rare for me to love canon pairings and I adore Bobby/Athena and Karen/Hen, so this show would have to fundamentally fuck up for me to drop it! (Still sad about Michael being written out, though I understand the IRL reasoning.)
I have seen the news about it though, or I think I know what you're referring to, at least, and I'm... already exhausted because the way I learned about it, of course, was by shippers treating this as Step One to getting their ship be canon. And I think that canon queer rep should be celebrated about being canon queer rep and not be used as stepping stones to get your non-canon ships canon. So that's, I don't know, disappointing behavior.
Can't attest to how well it was handled though because I haven't seen it yet. I hope it's actually handled. I hope there is actual... consideration. The character considering his sexuality, I mean. We so rarely get self-finding stories when it comes to queerness, too often we're just the side-characters who are already fully in their identity when they step onto our screen and considering that he has never shown any interest in men before, a retcon of "yeah no he's been bi all along" would be wild. Which, also, I hope that consideration of his sexuality leads to explicit labeling, something that's also too often hand-waved and you get to guess the sexuality by what partners a character is shown with.
So, yeah! Once I finish my rewatch, I'll get onto the current season and see how they handled it for myself and see if I like how they handled it. If I do, you can expect a delighted rant here. If I don't... well, I hope I do.

I am asking about the aitsf au 👀
And I am answering! I’m gonna go down a bullet list of things I don’t think I’ve mentioned about our AU! Specifically about the siblings because my inbox is mostly about Ryuki + Saito lol so this will be a long one! Thank you for letting me go on and on about this AU seriously I enjoy it very much.
AITSF / AINI SPOILERS.
Warnings for violence, child abuse, and some seriously bad family dysfunction.
Saito has a scar around his neck, which he covers with a black choker (this is me trying to justify why he appears to be wearing two turtlenecks) (I know it’s because his model is weird but who cares). He got this from a childhood accident where Uru got angry and pushed him as they were swinging with ropes and he nearly got strangled to death. The scar is from the rope burns as he struggled. Uru wasn’t actually ever afraid of him until that day because Saito beat him up so badly for it that they had to get separated by the guards. This was also before Iris.
Following that, there is an ending where Uru finally gets to kill him (of course, it’s strangulation. Finish what you started, Uru.) but it’s also a bad one. Pretty much any ending where Saito gets killed is a bad one. But also you can imagine how insane A-Set stan Twitter is going to look following the news release that Iris’ brother killed her other brother (who killed her mother).
There was a period of 6 months where Uru and Saito just did not see each other, following Manaka’s murder. While So tried to figure out what to do about Saito, he just locked him in his room (though obviously he was let out for like, assessments and basic care) and had guards make sure no one went near (but mostly to make sure Saito didn’t get out). Uru did not know about this at all and was told he was sent away for health reasons.
Between the untreated physiological brain disorder making him upset and the distress of being stuck in The Room for so long, he developed a fear of being trapped / unable to escape. Once he was let out he moved rooms entirely and avoids The Room, which is left intact with proof of his tantrums / meltdowns (broken CRT tv, messed up walls and floors, etc).
Iris and Uru have no idea why he’s antsy about it and it bothers him immensely that they don’t have the same fear of being trapped as he does, even when he used to lock them in closets whenever he got angry with them.
This is also why he chooses to put So’s body in something as small and morbid as The Vase (it’s the vengeance babey). I have this headcanon outside of the AU but it fit really well into here, so this is the room where Hitomi shoots and kills Saito in her final girl bad ending. We love karmic retribution.
If the siblings just unionized against So, they could easily kick his ass and live like normal people. But they aren’t ever going to do that because Saito is so poisoned by the belief that he’s better than the others because he’s the true born son and they’re all inferior to him (which is undermined by the fact that So is more restrictive of him than the others + Saito himself knows he’s on thin ice constantly and is insecure about it).
So doesn’t really like any of his kids because he’s the root of all evil but if he had to pick a favorite it is actually Iris. Because Saito has a body count and Uru is deeply insecure to the point of being pathetic but at least Iris is a nice young woman who is doing literally everything she can to stay out of it. Tbh she’s slightly spared from the mind games by the sheer age gap between her and her brothers.
Despite literally all of this dysfunction, for the most part they all get along tentatively. Saito’s made himself the top of the pecking order, Uru follows Saito’s lead (but is extremely unhappy about it which is why he ends up violently repressed, susceptible to cult indoctrination, and trigger happy), and Iris respects them both from a sad distance.
The problem is that they occasionally have pretty good moments together so no matter how bad it gets, those few moments make them forget about it. Saito in particular occasionally does stand up for them against So. He was the one who convinced So to let Iris be an idol, for which she’s grateful. But he stands up to So on their behalf as a sort of power move, because neither of them have ever really stood up to their father the way Saito is able to (further establishing to them that he’s the favorite of them all).
On a lighter note, Uru in this AU is actually naturally a brunet and bleaches his hair blond. On a darker note, the combination of coloring his hair like Saito and the fact that he dresses like him (turtleneck + blazer) surely doesn’t mean anything about his self image relating to his older brother now does it.
That was 11 bullet points which I think is enough from me. Thank you!

Lies of Omission
I know that this scene has been discussed hundreds of times already, and there are probably posts out there that are very similar to this one. However, I saw this being brought up again on Instagram, and I feel the need to say my bit about it.
The question brought up over and over again is “Why did Scott believe Theo over Stiles?”.
He didn’t.
In the entire scene, there’s never once the question of whose story he should believe – as far as the boys are concerned, there is only one story. That’s what causes the miscommunication.
I also noticed something else while watching the scene: nothing that Stiles said actually contradicted Theo’s story.
To go into more depth, I’m going to go through each bit of the dialogue and explain what’s basically being said from each character’s point of view.
[Scott holds out the bloody wrench]
Stiles: Where did you get that?
Scott: This is yours? Why didn't you tell me?
Stiles: I was going to...
Scott: No, but why didn't you tell me when it happened?
Stiles: I couldn't.
So far, it’s pretty straightforward.
Scott shows Stiles the wrench, who immediately reacts in a guilty manner. It’s important to note that Scott’s “This is yours?” holds quite a bit of surprise in it, so he clearly hadn’t already made up his mind about what happened.
Stiles takes the wrench and looks at it, while Scott asks him “Why didn’t you tell me?”
I know that, to some people, his question implies that he’s already leapt to a conclusion about what happened, but this isn’t necessarily the case. He hasn’t specified what it is he believes Stiles has done; all this shows is that he knows something big has happened.
Stiles’ response sounds incredibly guilty, and he struggles to look Scott in the eye. It’s clear at this point that he’s done something bad.
Scott: You killed him? You killed Donovan?
Stiles: Well, he was going to kill my dad. Huh? Was I supposed to just let him?
Scott: You weren't supposed to do this. None of us are.
This is where it starts to get more confusing.
Scott asks whether Stiles killed Donovan, and again the surprise and disbelief in his voice shows that he hadn’t already made up his mind prior to this conversation.
Stiles responds by telling him “he was going to kill my dad [...] was I supposed to just let him?” (i.e. “I killed Donovan because he was going to kill my dad”).
The worst thing about this is that it essentially confirms what Theo was saying. Theo said “maybe it was because he threatened to kill his dad”.
It also implies to Scott that this was not self-defense, because Stiles’ dad wasn’t there. Instead, it tells Scott that Stiles chose to kill Donovan because he couldn’t risk Donovan hurting his father.
Also, Stiles is asking Scott “Was I supposed to just let him [kill my father]?” (i.e. “was I supposed to let him go free and risk him killing my father?”)
If Stiles had explained how much he regretted it, Scott (despite still not knowing the whole story) would likely have reacted differently. Instead, it sounds to Scott as though Stiles has done something terrible and is now defending it.
Hence, he replies by essentially saying that no, his response was not justified. “You weren't supposed to do this.”
Stiles: You think I had a choice?
Scott: There's always a choice.
This is where it’s important to look at the different viewpoints. Scott is still under the impression that Stiles killed Donovan to protect his father. So, from his point of view, Stiles did have a choice.
Stiles: Yeah, well, I can't do what you can, Scott. I know you wouldn't have done it. You probably would have just figured something out, right?
Scott: I'd try.
Stiles: Yeah, because you're Scott McCall! You're the True Alpha! Guess what? All of us can't be True Alphas! Some of us have to make mistakes. Some of us have to get our hands a little bloody sometimes. Some of us are human!
Once again, it’s clear that they’re talking about completely different things.
Stiles is talking about what he can do physically. He’s saying that he couldn’t easily fight off Donovan the way that Scott could have. He’s saying that Scott could have found a solution that didn’t end in one of them dying.
But Scott still doesn’t know that. He still thinks that Stiles killed Donovan by using disproportionate force, because he was scared that if Donovan survived then he’d harm his father. From his point of view, Stiles is saying that murder was the only option, and he couldn’t figure something else out.
So he responds by essentially saying that yes, he would try and figure out another solution to protect his father and also not kill Donovan.
It’s an entirely reasonable response, but obviously from Stiles’ point of view, Scott is being very unfair here. This, along with the fact that he’s being crushed under guilt and stress and anger, causes him to lash out.
Scott: So you had to kill him?
Stiles: Scott, he was going to kill my dad!
Scott: But the way that it happened... There's a point when it's... It's not self-defense anymore!
Stiles: What are you even talking about? I didn't have a choice, Scott!
Scott, to his credit, doesn’t get angry, and instead gets back to the main point. He’s clearly very desperate at this point, desperate for there to be something he’s missed.
So he asks whether Stiles had to kill him – note that this isn’t simply if Stiles killed Donovan, it’s more about whether it was the only choice. Keep in mind, that Scott cares a lot about Stiles. He doesn’t want to fall out with him.
Unfortunately, Stiles’ response only emphasised what he’d previously claimed, making it sound like that was his only reason.
This is where both characters should have paid more attention to each other’s words. Scott’s comment about “the way that it happened” should have driven Stiles to questioning what he thought had happened; and Stiles’ confusion should have again made Scott question whether he had the story right.
However, they’re both upset and stressed, and so it’s understandable that at this point they aren’t thinking clearly and rationally.
Stiles: You don't even believe me, do you?
Scott: I want to.
Stiles: Okay. All right, so... So, believe me, then. Scott, say you believe me. Say it. Say you believe me.
[Stiles steps forward brandishing the wrench and Scott flinches]
Scott: Stiles, we can't kill people that we're trying to save.
Stiles: Say you believe me!
Scott: We can't kill people. Do you believe that?
This is where everybody hates Scott, but again it’s taking everything out of context.
When Stiles says “believe me”, he means “believe me that there was no choice, I was about die and it was an accident”, but Scott hears “believe me that my only choice was to kill Donovan to protect my dad”.
Scott wants to believe that Stiles’ actions were necessary, but he knows that killing somebody to prevent the possibility of something else from happening in the future is not justified (especially when there are other ways they could have protected his dad).
Also, Theo was cunning and he told Scott “maybe Stiles thought he had to keep going to defend himself” – which feeds into Scott’s belief that Stiles might have thought it was his only choice, despite this not being the case.
I also want to point out that Scott flinching is likely due to the trauma of Void Stiles. In Letharia Vulpina (3x19), by the animal clinic in the pouring rain, Void Stiles tortured Scott. The similarities of the situation likely caused him to flinch (and then there’s obviously the fact that flinching when somebody steps forward with a weapon is a completely natural response, even without all the trauma).
Stiles: Well, what do I do about this? What do you want me to do? Okay, just be... Scott, just tell me how to fix this, all right? Please, just tell me-- what do you want me to do?
Scott: Don't worry about Malia or Lydia. We'll find them. Maybe... Maybe you should talk to your dad.
This is when Stiles essentially gives up. From his point of view, he’s tried defending himself, but Scott is still condemning him; he’s being blamed for something that was in no way his fault.
Instead of lashing out again, he accepts that he was at fault (although he wasn’t – it was his guilt that was persuading him that he was in the wrong), and begs Scott to tell him how he can fix his mistake.
Scott, who is also very overwhelmed, suggests he talk to his dad, who will be able to fix it and sort everything out.
I know some people equate this to Scott kicking Stiles out of the pack, but I really don’t think it is.
Scott saying “Don't worry about Malia or Lydia” is not him forbidding Stiles from speaking to them. It’s simply a callback to the beginning of the conversation, when Stiles informed Scott that he’d been unable to get in touch with Malia or Lydia.
And yes, he dismisses Stiles, but that’s because so many other things are going on. Hayden is directly behind them, dying in the animal clinic. Scott needs to go and help her, and Stiles being there will probably just increase the tension and make things more difficult.
In Conclusion:
It was a miscommunication. Scott and Stiles both thought they were talking about the same thing, which led to them not understanding what the other was trying to say.
Scott did not come into the argument already believing Stiles was guilty. His reaction to Theo’s story was, literally, “that’s not possible”. It was Stiles’ accidental confirmation of Theo’s story that led Scott to believe it was true.
“believe me” does not mean “believe my story”, because to their knowledge there was only one story.
Scott did not kick Stiles out of the pack.
I firmly believe that the only mistake either character made (beyond hiding the whole secret in the first place) is not pushing further to make sure they were both talking about the same thing. Scott should have asked for Stiles’ full story of the events, and Stiles should have explained what happened when he had the chance. It can, however, be put down to their mindsets at the time: Theo chose a good time to tell Scott, when both of them were already overwhelmed with all the events going on.

1. Ever occurred to you that people can actually feel guilty for things they couldn’t have prevented because they have human feelings such as empathy? Woah! A whole bunch of revelations for you today. Like, Criston was not fucking with Alicent in the book and B&C happened regardless. Good for Erryk getting himself killed for Rhaenyra I guess. I mean why wouldn’t he? It’s not like he was used and abused by her or something, lol! Acting as if Criston didn’t literally give his life up to protect Alicent’s family. Delusion at its finest.
2. Alicent has not “humiliated” or “treated Rhaenyra like shit” at all. Taken her children from her? To check if they actually look like their supposed father? Acting as if she stole them from their cribs in the middle of the night, lol. Rhaenyra wanted to make a show out of it by bringing the baby there herself because she was upset that her son was an obvious bastard. Like, all of this was literally built by her own decisions. She was too gracious for just slicing her arm after she demanded that her son who was disabled by her brats be tortured tbh, I would have gone for her neck. “Humiliated her on the small council” she barely even spoke to her. Right, Larys. Blaming her for the murders she never asked that benefited only Larys who also wanted to use this as a leverage against her. Again, blaming her for the actions of men. Actually good for Cole for killing the man who said “if you don’t be a compliant little boy, I’m outing our secret to everyone”. Good for him for making sure he can never threat anyone again. And as of the Lord that he killed after Viserys’ death, he was aggressive but it was clearly an accident, of which Alicent was shocked. Alicent openly opposed Viserys and she resents Otto as well but he’s literally her only ally in this world. As for Rhaenyra, she tricked her into getting her own father fired, she has not done her duty yet she is still being rewarded at the expense of her own children whom she brought into this world solely because the king needed a male heir whose existence he ignored once he had him, and ultimately disabled her fucking kid. She has every right to be angry with her. Seeing that Rhaenyra is still getting whatever she wants despite not following the rules, and at the expense of her own family at that, is more than enough to make her say “fuck it” and do something that concerns literally no one outside of her and Criston.
3. “You think that the people of westeros treat men and women the same / you believe that women should suffer” sigh, you must be blinder than Aemond after the battle above God’s eye because you didn’t read anything I said about how I hold both men and women to the same moral standards or my explanation of tragic heroes being likeable, and honestly that sounds like a you problem. I’m not gonna repeat 3 paragraphs. Believing that GRRM, an author that promotes pedophilia and misogyny, actually wants to criticise the system and not just tell an interesting, shocking epic story is a new level of overthinking, especially when he himself has stated that he agrees with Joss Whedon’s philosophy: “I don't know if I am a feminist, but I certainly believe that women are equal people, that there are all types of women. There are brave women, there are cowardly women. Most people are some combination of things...I believe in individual characters.”. Clock it.
Thanks btw, I’ll be looking forward to your next post on twitter where you’ll be ranting about me! Kisses!
HotD presents two individuals who suffer at the hand of the same patriarchal system set to make them suffer when they rebel (Rhaenyra) AND when they're complacent (Alicent). That is the central issue and the tragedy of Alicent's unjust & now hypocritical vitriol towards Rhaenyra.
"Rhaenyra the entitled whore, Alicent the deserving saint" is not only a repulsive mindset and textbook misogyny, it's also so far removed from the point being made by making them parallels in this adaptation. People who buy into it are simply not interacting with the core themes of the story.

Haikyuu manager headcanons!!
Okay so these adorable teams all have the softest spot for their tiny little manager-chan, and here's how they all treat her.
[Ari's note: okay manager fics and headcanons are my absolute favourite and I love writing them]
*.` | Karasuno
They are extremely laid back with you, compared to some of the other teams. They give you your space, at the same time listen to you when you have something to say.
Respectful simps. Similar to how they act with Kiyoko (ugh yes queen-chan) they're in tears whenever you do things to motivate them, like cheer at their practice matches or give them good luck charms.
They still have the good luck charms you fastened on their bag before one of the matches.
Tanaka and Noya would literally worship the ground which you walked on. Like wow how did they get so lucky as to have three?? Cute managers?? On their team??
Yachi and you would probably subtly simp over Kiyoko with them too ngl.
Hinata and Kags would probably see you as an older sister, eventho you're their age because you're so caring and responsible.
Suga is literally your mom and Daichi is your dad. They make sure you're all healthy and you're doing well in school.
Asahi gives you hugs whenever you're sad or upset! Fite me but I think this gentle baby gives the best hugs ever >:( he's like your comfort senpai and you'd do the same for him, especially when he's feeling insecure or down.
Yams would probably be very shy around you, but he'll warm up in time.
Ahhh the best part. Tsukki! He'd find you annoying and simply not get why you're so Mcfreaking happy at first (shut up u salty beanpole, manager-chan is just a ray of sunshine, okay?) But he soon finds it endearing and slowly gets closer to you.
You walk home with Yams and Tsukki every day since your houses are close, and Tsukki walks you to your door to make sure you're safe!
Ennoshita, Kinoshita and Narita all see you as a little sister and often help you with your managerial duties.
The team cares and respects you so much, and are so thankful you've joined them!!
Meat buns at Ukai's are your hangout spot, and everytime you see them chilling you're so thankful to have such great friends.
*.` | Aoba Johsai
Aaah we're at the team of one of my favourite characters!! I'll start with Oikawa (can't you tell I'm so biased omg)
Oikawa absolutely adores manager-chan because although she's tiny, she's very strict, and doesn't let his fangirls near the gym when he's practicing, which he appreciates.
"yn-chan, you're so good to me, can I take you out as a thank-you?" Cue Iwa-chan's ball which comes flying at Oikawa's head. "Stop flirting with the manager, shitty-kawa"
Iwa's very fond of you too, but he doesn't let it show too often. Sometimes he picks up your favourite coffee from the vending machine and claims that he bought it by "accident". (How believable<3)
Kunimi probably sends you weird tiktok videos and tags you in funny memes. Very wholesome 10/10.
Kyotani just?? Doesn't understand you?? Like wow, she's small but the team listens to her?? Why?? He later finds out you're the manager. Mad dork here didn't know you were managing the team for the past month, and thought you just came to the gym to watch them practice. Smh.
Matsukawa and Hanamaki give you headpats and like taking selfies with you, much to Oikawa's dismay. He wants to be the only one taking pictures with you.
Like no manager-chan. Stop. Get away from them. My phone's right here I wanna take selfies with you :(
Kindaichi is cool with you. Y'all are bros and you game together sometimes.
Watari and Yahaba join too, and they're surprised to know that you're so aggressive when you game.
Cue a jealous Oikawa who struggles learning how to game just so he's invited to play with you. Simp smh.
They're all very gentle with you, and since you're their first female manager, they make sure to never make you feel uncomfortable.
You guys like grabbing ramen together and having eating contests. They really bring out your aggressive side but you love them for it.
*.` | Shiratorizawa
Can I just say Semi bsf material? Yes? Yes. Semi Eita is best friend material.
Makes you cute little Spotify playlists and you help him write lyrics to songs occasionally. You play an instrument too and you guys can just jam out for hours on end together.
You get the idea of applying to be the manager because of him, and it all took off from there.
Goshiki loves you. You're fond of your kohāi, and you genuinely just give this touch-starved future ace a lot of hugs and cuddles, which he's SO grateful for.
Like wow, y/n-chan isn't just pretty?? She's also so sweet? And smart? And capable? Semi why have you been hiding her for so long??¿ >:(
Goshiki is just so protective of you, he'd commit murder if he had to.
You have to earn Ushiwaka's respect, yk? And slowly but surely he comes to realise how dependable and responsible you are, and treats you like an indispensable member of the team.
He's got your back. And if he ever senses you're upset, he's trying to cheer you up as best as he can.
"do not feel upset, those grades will mean nothing to you in the future. I doubt you will be able to remember what you got in your second year, third monthly test." You think he's being sweet, and yes he is (in a way), but he's also trying to be reasonable and logical.
Tendo loosens you up and you tend to play pranks on the others with him.
The funniest was when you tried to prank Ushijima by adding wasabi to his onigiri and he?? Didn't get it??
Like "y/n-chan, Tendo, why did you add wasabi to this onigiri? It would've been so much better with tuna mayo??" And he has no reaction whatsoever?¿?
Cue Goshiki who tries the onigiri because he wants to prove he has spice tolerance like Ushijima, eventhough you can low-key see him tearing up.
Shirabu is your voice of reason and you and him often study together. You also have deep and philosophical conversations at 12 a.m. over text, and it is just so wholesome.
He respects you so much, not just because you care for him, but because he finds your brain so fricking smexy.
These eagle babies bring out the best in you and you're always eager to push them forward and bring out the best in them.
*.` | Fukurodani
First thing's first, besides Akaashi, you are the only other person who can cheer up an emo-mood Bokuto.
Just say "Hey Bo, you're gonna look so much cooler when you spike the ball like the true ace that you are" and his hair's all perking up and his eyes are shining.
Akaashi thinks you are an angel sent from heaven.
You're very soft on your baby owls, and they genuinely just love getting positive affirmations from you.
Akaashi always blushes when you compliment him on his sets. And you can hear him murmur genuine words of gratitude.
The other members do too. They're glad because sometimes people focus on Bo too much and forget to give them recognition, yk? It's easy to get overlooked :(
But thanks to manager-chan who's so attentive with all of them, and who's aware of all their quirks and moods, they're all so touched and so so happy.
You have a habit of getting cold pretty often, especially since practice finishes late and it's pretty chilly by then.
Konoha always lends you his jacket and walks you home, since your home's are the closest. There's just something about you that makes you soft.
You get along really well with Kaori and Yukie, and you'd definitely consider them your best friends, considering y'all are in this thang togetherrrr!!
The Fukurodani team are just all a bunch of crackheads, but they're your crackheads and you wouldn't trade them for the world.
You're a very tight-knit family, (like ugh I just get lots of comfortable, safe vibes from Fukurodani :(( <3)
You guys hang out at the store near your school pretty often to recharge after grueling days of practice together.
*.` | Nekoma
My second favourite team, Nekoma!! They are precious, gentle, soft babies and I love them to bits and pieces >:(
I'll start with Kuroo. You've always had a tiny soft spot for Kuroo ever since you've become his lab partner in chemistry class.
His notes are immaculate. I mean, cmon we're all hoes for pretty notes
You think he's so incredibly smart and talented, so when he suggests you become the Nekoma manager, you just agree right away.
You guys grow closer since you've started spending more time with him, and you banter around more often than not with chemistry pickup lines.
"hey kitten, let's form a covalent bond"
He's so whipped after you retort back. Like wow she called me sodium fine and said I'm like an exothermic reaction? Permission to simp??
(Ari stfu this isn't a Kuroo fanfic)
Kenma and you definitely play animal crossing together, and he even lets you try his switch, after you guys grow closer.
Kuroo is so insulted, he's never even touched Kenma's switch before >:(
You also push Kenma to do better during practice and he starts to care more about volleyball, since you seem so enthusiastic about it.
Yamamoto isn't even subtle about his simping smh T-T unlike Kuroo, he shamelessly flirts with you, and can't wait to show you off to Tanaka and Noya at the next camp.
"we have such a gorgeous manager now, Nekoma is ThRiViNg" he says in his head with this ridiculous dopey ass smile on his face +_+
Since deep down inside, you're a huge baby, you, Lev, Shibayama, and Inuoka get along so well. They're just happy energetic kittens, and they make you feel so happy.
y'alls energy just match, yk?
Although Fukunaga is shy to tell jokes, he tells them to you, because he knows you'd never judge him, and you actually kinda enjoy laughing along :) he's so touched.
Momma Yaku!! Yaku always lends you his jacket and makes sure to carry snacks for you in his bag. He knows you care so much about the team that you often neglect your own health, which is why he's always there to make you're feeling healthy and good.
Kai and Teshiro help you with your homework and like talking about their favourite singers with you.
They're all just such amazing human beings who treat you so well, and you feel so blessed to be a part of their team. You adore them so much, and they adore you back tenfold.
*.` | Inarizaki
[Ari's note: Ello there luvs, you've made it to the bottom of this sweet hc post and just get ready for Inarizaki :( they're my favourite team of all time, and I'm just so biased, I'm sorry ;-;]
Inarizaki's entire team just adores you so much, they think you're the light of their lives.
They're all super touch starved babies, and once you realized that, you've made sure to ensure they never feel that way.
Aran is kinda like your protective senpai, and his heart flutters ever so slightly when you call him that senpai kink oops and give him headpats, and he loves patting your head in return.
The twins are so incredibly soft for you.
Their fangirls are sometimes pretty mean, but one glare from the duo is enough to shut them up.
Osamu cooks bentos for you and gives you the warmest hugs when you ask for them, burying his head in the crook of your neck.
Your hand is almost always in Atsumu's because he's so slick?? Like y'all, this mf would be like "y/n-chan, my hand has been aching for a while now" and when you go to observe it, he just pulls your hand into his and pulls you to follow him.
His entire body heats up when you kiss his cheek after a particularly good game, and his brain literally goes "grrrr empty", when he's usually so sly.
The twins are your bodyguards, they follow you everywhere and protect you all the time.
Enter Suna Rintaro, your meme king. He definitely records funny moments that happen during practice and send them to you, just to make you laugh, or memes of the members.
He also definitely takes pictures of you when you aren't noticing, simply because he likes the way your hair looked, or because you looked so beautiful.
Like the twins, his eyes widen whenever you kiss his cheek or ruffle his hair, and it's literally like suna.exc has stopped functioning.
Congrats manager-chan, you broke the kid -.-
Omimi might come across as stoic and cold but he's actually a huge softie, and you often give him positive affirmations.
He's also definitely a huge lover of your hugs, and looks forward to them as motivation to play well.
He'd never tell you though, he's shy™.
My baby Kita compliments you all the fricking time.
"y/n-chan, I mean this is the most sincere way, I think this hairstyle looks stunning on you"
Or "you're so capable and you work so hard, I'm so thankful to have you by my side"
And he has the most genuine expression on his face, his eyes are so earnest and shining so bright.
And when you smile at him, he's like oh shit I made her smile, depression whom? I only know serotonin.
Ginjima is usually rash but with you, he takes his time and weighs everything he says.
He doesn't wanna accidentally hurt you and regret it since he was being careless and not thinking at all.
You calm him down when he's getting too hotheaded with gentle words and he's suddenly a blushing mess.
Unlike some of the other teams that tease you a bunch, Inarizaki treats you so gently. Their little princess, as they think of you.
So mf-ing protective, like if someone looks at you wrong, you can totally bet Atsumu's going for their ankles, sangwoo style, or Osamu is trash talking them to their knees.
Would drop anything and everything to help you if ever needed.
They think you're they're entire world because you go above and beyond for them, and they genuinely love you. Like actually LOVE you to bits and pieces.
—*.`
[Ari's note: AHHH so the manager fic is done this was literally such a joy to write!! I hope you enjoyed it
