Atsushi needs reading glasses (based off of all those official arts of him with glasses).
Is he going to buy those glasses? Absolutely not. They're specially made for his eyes, because his eyes are abnormal, like everything about him. Making the reading glasses a little more expensive than the normal pair.
So Atsushi just goes about his life, squinting at things and refusing to buy reading glasses, because why would he buy something for himself when he could spend it on Kyouka-chan or save it?
(If those special made reading glasses show up at his desk one day, courtesy of Ranpo, no one comments on it.)

correct me if i’m wrong, but aren’t 3rd degree burns actually not painful because all the nerves are fried?
what i’m getting at is, how bad were Zuko’s burns?
imagine 13yr old Zuko waking up after the agni kai and not realizing his face is burnt at first. Sure, there are some sore spots (around the edges of the burn where the nerves are less damaged), but everything feels fine.
Until he realizes he can’t feel himself blinking, and when he reaches up to prod the area, he can feel bandages but... no sensation from the skin on his face.
He’s aware he’s hurt, but otherwise, he must be confused. Growing up in the palace away from the fighting, it’s likely the worst he knew was of smaller burns. It’s only later when someone (Iroh, maybe) is helping him undress the bandage to apply a salve to the burn that he catches sight of himself in the mirror.
One eye widens in shock and understanding, the other unable to open much at all.

Okay! This one is less rendered than the other two, but here's some doodles of Tulpa figuring out how to co-exist! (Aka Fresh not taking training seriously while Dream is trying desperately to get his friends to think he's normal.)
When Dream first returns to the Star Sans', he finds himself in a pickle, because he needs Fresh to move his body. Sure, they made a tentative agreement that Dream trusted Fresh not to break, but Dream hadn't been specific enough with the guidelines.
Fresh pilots Dream's body based on the commands from his soul, but more often than not Fresh simply decides not to listen. Sometimes when they're training, Fresh will suddenly make Dream fumble his bow or send an arrow flying way off-target. Dream is always frustrated by this, unaware that Fresh it doing it for his own good and is forcing the guardian to take a break.
Blue was also made aware of Fresh very early on. One day he was passing the kitchen where Dream was cooking and spotted how Fresh's little form was wiggling out of the hole on Dream's skull. Blue made Eye-contact with Fresh, but said nothing since it seemed like Dream was aware and didn't mind. He waited until Dream told him to acknowledge the parasite directly, but suddenly a bunch of Dream's weird actions made sense to him. Blue regularly makes sure to check in on Dream, before abd after he's aware of Fresh, because he knows Dream works himself into the ground.
Dream (eventually) figures out that Fresh was being clumsy for his sake and nearly cries about it (even his mother and the villagers never did that for him, and Blue was the only other person to ever pull him away from training for his own good) so he gets a bit emotional. He feels bad for how angry he used to get at Fresh for doing that, but Fresh never gave him a proper explanation either, so it was a two-way street.
And while Fresh was lienent around Blue and Ink, he never slipped up around Nightmare's gang. Though, he did fight seriously, which to him might look like goofing off, which is completely separate from Dream's fighting style. (For now Dream uses Arrows and his Bow, but I'm thinking Tulpa has a T-Shirt Canon or a Nerf Gun by the time they make-up.)
Ideally Fresh cannot be seen during combat because he actually pilots from around Dream's soul, but sometimes his parasite form expands to support Dream's weak joints and act like a shock-absorber.

I still don't think Ben did anything wrong during "Duped." He deserves to do normal teenage boy stuff like see a movie on opening day, and he was trying to give himself that while also saving the world AND supporting his girlfriend's tennis match. He didn't spend enough time with his duplicates to realize that they had opposing personalities to their assignments — it's not like he sent his asshole-self to Julie's match on purpose.

So I read the Junior Novelization of Wish at Barnes & Nobles just to see if there were scenes with Magnífico and Amaya-
⚠️———Spoilers Below———⚠️
On the one hand, I think it’s cute that Amaya calls her husband “Mi Rey” and Magnífico calls Amaya “My love” and “Darling” so it’s canon they have pet names🥰❤️🥰
On the other hand…. yeah, aside from that, their relationship seems meh. I know the books tend to omit things from the actual film, but reading these snippets makes me even more upset that they didn’t just go with Magnífico and Amaya being a villain couple (who own a cat named Charo).
I feel like that original idea would’ve been so much better and more entertaining. Idk my shipper heart just wishes(heh) that the couple stayed together the whole story rather than going the boring route and making Amaya the good one.
Just imagine them being an evil couple who are unapologetically terrible, absolutely adore each other (and don’t betray one another), and who spoil their pet cat like it’s their child. Imagine
And also, apparently there’s a scene in the climax where Magnífico strikes Amaya with his evil magic and yeah no, sorry, but in my universe, Magnífico would NEVER. Sorry not sorry🤷♀️

your post abt dean not corrupting sam it’s the other way around is just !!!! yeah!!! that’s a reason i’ve never quite been able to get into weecest either bc very few people actually know how to characterize them so. i agree w you
yeah that’s exactly what i’m saying. i think the show was pretty blatant about sam being in the “temptress” role in their dynamic, as i already mentioned in this post (also in this post but it’s more of my own personal headcanon based on their interaction in playthings)

i don't know why, but in the sparse five hours of sleep i got last night, my brain decided to plague me with dreams of lilia taking care of an elderly silver, up until the final moments of his life. i could hear silver's thoughts the whole time, and he was so absolutely inundated with shame and guilt it almost seemed like he was suffocating. he kept thinking over and over and over again that this all should've been the other way around. he should've been the one looking after his father in the twilight of his life. he should've been his aging father's rock, his safe place to land, his stalwart defender against a world so unbelievably cruel to its most vulnerable denizens. again and again his heart cried out in vain, it should've been the other way around.
as a child he had once wished - prayed, even, to the same force now threatening to reclaim his spirit back into its unconscious designs - for his father to live a long and prosperous life, and it was as though that very wish had backfired on him in a way he never could have possibly imagined
