headcanon that percy is historically hard to beat at monopoly. and it's intially the most mind-boggling thing ever watching him turn the tide of a game. because he's definitely losing at the beginning. but percy is not only an amazing strategist. he has a deep understanding of money and knows how and when to bet on the board. he knows when to test his luck. and he's amazing at getting into people's head.

#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#wei wuxian#lan wangji#Scopophobia#Don't be mean Lan Wangji - the dead girl aesthetic is a curated one. Support women's rights to look dead!#I have been waiting for this scene for ages...the ghost girl entourage is such a good look for WWX.#And by gods does the audio drama actually do something interesting with one of them.#Namely that we actually get to see WWX talk with them and learn about who they were and what they left behind.#I love necromancer characters but it's way too common for them to be like “Go! Ghost no.145!” like they're a pokemon#and not...you know...someone who had a whole life that they left behind.#I love me a necromancer who has an awareness to whose soul/body they are using. It adds a lot of flavour!#MDZS is a little hit or miss with this. I think the fans do a lot of the work with making Mo Xuanyu a bigger character.#Yi City has this in spades. Even though we don't individually get character backstories#We get many painful reminders about how these 'corpses' were people.#We also get a few lines about how WWX used whatever corpses he could get his hands on (including grandparents - Woof!)#MDZS often (but not always) likes to remind us that every sacrifice and every ghost was a person.#It is so close to nailing the landing regarding the deconstruction of the necromancer character.#Anyhow. You may have noticed the uptick in quality in the last two comics. Rule of three means next one is going to be a treat B*)#See you all very soon!

Dp x DC
So, I've seen a couple prompts about how the Fenton family is really big, passionate bunch of morally questionable weirdos and once you're one of them there is no escape. But what if the Fentons were a mafia?
Jack was supposed to inherit the family business, but he's just really not great choice. He's not stupid, far from it, but he's oblivious to anything that isn't fudge, his family, his inventions or later on ghosts. He just sees no reason to care about any of that so he truly never knew what his family did. Not a heir material. So a cousin took over.
Jack is still part of the family, has acces to resources, money and has full support to live his mad scientist dreams in Illinois. His wife while better at noticing is just as obsessive and distractable. But she is also highly capable and incredibly smart.
They mostly just see each other on reunions. The Family is based in Gotham so traveling so far is not easy.
But it turns out that they were wrong about just where Jack and Maddie's loyalties lied, they thought , believed that family was their number one priority, that their work, while still important came second to their kids. Except that is not the case as proven when frantic heavily bleeding Danny crashes on their doorstep in Gotham.
And suddenly all those little comments they dismissed don't seem so far-fetched. Jack and Maddie truly tried to rip their son apart molecule by molecule. Their work was more important than taking care of their children, their hate of ghosts won over their love.
The Family of course takes Danny and Jazz in immediately. They disown Jack and Maddie, it's just well they haven't been going by Fenton a few generations. It means they have no connection the GIW can easily trace.
Danny heals and starts school. What happens next is up for anyone. Maybe Danny joins the Family business. Maybe Danny keeps being hero. Maybe he catches the attention of a Bat. Maybe he just goes to school and works on his degree.

Conversations between best friends has often led to some reckless/stupid/not thought out at all decisions. Like one conversation the amity park trio had where Danny said that he couldn't see Tucker as a doctor (the medical kind) to which Tucker responded with "Alright, bet." and enrolled in medical school. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Bruce Wayne and Tucker Foley somehow by coincidence *cough* clockwork* became friends. And stayed friends even after Bruce dropped out and Tucker went on to finish med school. It was a strange friendship that was mainly just Bruce calling Tucker from the weirdest locations and asking things "Out of curiosity, if an immortal nutjob wanted you to marry his daughter and become his heir what would you do? uh-huh, uh-huh, really? ok, thanks." and meeting up for coffee every now and then. It was during one of these coffee meet-ups that Bruce confessed that he wanted to adopt a recently orphaned child by the name of Richard. There was currently push back from people who didn't think 'Brucie Wayne' would be a good parent and from others who didn't want a random kid having a chance to inherit the Wayne fortune, the media was also having a field day. Everyone kept asking him to "reconsider" and doing everything they can to stall/stop the adoption process. Tucker, being the good friend he was, said "Don't worry, I got this" Stood up from the cafe table, walked to the nearest library and politely asked to use one of their computers, spent a good ten minutes on it, printed something out on the library's printer, walked back to the cafe where he left Bruce waiting. And finally, he handed over the paper with the words "Take this." and continued drinking his now cold coffee. Bruce was, understandably, confused. "What is-" "Trust me, it'll work." Tucker assured him. That is how Bruce Wayne adopted one Richard 'Dick' Grayson.
And after that, Bruce went to Tucker whenever he came across a kid that he wanted to adopt, which was often. It's one reason why Tucker will do everything in his power to make sure Danny and Bruce never meet for fear that the Gothamite might try to add the Halfa to the growing army of children. Aka
Tucker Foley is The Guy

No offense, but to me that reading is just straight up buying into Dooku’s bullshit. Dooku would like Obi-Wan to join him, sure. As a Sith. Dooku is no longer concerned with the danger the Sith pose, he is one. Has been one for well over ten years. He made the choice to follow his Dark Side path long ago. The only concern he has is getting one over Palps by training an apprentice strong enough to help him kill good old Sheevy - not to clean up the Republic, but because it’s what Sith do.
Obi-Wan could have joined him then and there, and Dooku would still never have allied with the Jedi and would never have saved the Republic from corruption. He’s a SITH LORD. His moral grandstanding is pure bullshit that he uses to pretend the atrocities he commits are his victims’ fault. He was never gonna clean up the corruption of the CIS, he created and encouraged it. Heck, he got the principal CIS players to join by promising them zero taxes and profits beyond their wildest dreams! He never believe in the Separatist dream that he sold the lesser worlds that followed him.
Please answer me honestly: what proof have we got that Dooku would have followed through on his promises of cleaning up corruption had the Jedi listened to him?
Because to me we only have his word, and since he's playing two different tunes to Obi-Wan and the CIS leaders he's already proven his word isn't worth much.
Meanwhile, here's the evidence that we have that he was ALWAYS gonna fck over the Jedi and the Republic no matter what:
He claims to be worried about the Sith but helped Palpatine lie and cheat his way into power, knowing Palpatine was a Sith. The greatest case of corruption in the Republic is one he's responsible for
He became a fully fledged Sith himself - if his goal was solely to double cross Palps, he could have done it as a mere political ally
He had his own senators assassinated whenever they raised concerns about the ethics of the war
He routinely encouraged the needless slaughter and plundering of civilian populations
He tried to assassinate Padmé (one of the good non corrupt Senators) because she was standing up to Senate and trying to prevent the war. If he had actually entertained the hope of the Jedi joining him before Geonosis and had genuinely wanted to save the galaxy, what was killing Padmé gonna accomplish?
He had the chips built in the clone army BEFORE the Jedi "rejected" the Separatist movement. Killing them all was ALWAYS the goal
Dooku, Political Idealist, is the bullshit facade he built to get people to trust him and that we clearly saw stripped away in AotC. The thing is, the Jedi were *sympathetic* to his Separatist cause before Obi-Wan uncovered the droids and realised Dooku was never actually interested in a peaceful resolution. And again, Dooku had the chips ready a decade before making the supposed "last offer." He was ALWAYS going to kill them all.
obviously dooku sadly reminiscing about qui-gon in front of obi-wan is an attempt at manipulating him, but there is some truth behind his calculated display (he is genuinely missing qui-gon and hoping that qui-gon might see his side of things if he were here), and you gotta love how utterly delusional that makes dooku look.
like. sure. SURE. qui-gon would TOTALLY join your fight against the corruption of the republic. he totally wouldn't object to you making that corruption a billion times worse when you colluded with a corrupt senator to engineer a diplomatic crisis to force a no-confidence vote to rig an election to get a fcking sith lord in power - the same sith lord that ordered his death, by the way. SUUUURE.
he ABSOLUTELY wouldn't mind that your "freedom movement" designed to "fight corruption" is headed by plutocrats directly benefiting from the conflict because they're either weapons manufacturers or slave drivers lusting after deregulated markets. he wouldn't mind that your great cause is an avowed front for a sham war with the utter annihilation of the "corrupt" republic to the profit of absolute dictatorship as its ultimate goal. SUUUUUURE. like, dooku, you let him get KILLED in the name of this shitshow and then you have the AUDACITY to go 'oh i miss him i'm sure he'd have been totally down for my flawless fakeass Glorious Revolution plans.' the absurdity.

Prompt 331
Demon twins? Demon twins.
Damian? Good at the assassin side of things, at least for a four year old, but Danyal? He’s okay, but he’s far better at things like poisons and bookkeeping. Which is honestly? Okay. They’re the League of Shadows, and sure a majority of the members are assassins, but it’s definitely not all there are. So? Danyal starts getting medical training.
Not to say that either of the boys don’t know their fair share of violence and healing- it’s just better to let them play to their strengths. One doesn’t keep a league over centuries if they just have one type of warrior, or even just warriors. A variety is needed.
So one gets trained more towards the business side of things. Damian may be better at wielding the weapons and killing- even if neither have had their first kill quite yet- but Danyal shows far more proficiency at acting, at masking who he is and gathering information.
Damian, when he’s first sent to their Father, doesn’t mention his twin. Not because he’s jealous or hates him or anything like that. You just don’t talk about someone in an undercover mission in the League, and it’s not something he realizes isn’t a rule everywhere.
Needless to say, the Bats have more than a mild freakout the first time Damian mentions a twin who will be coming to the manor now that his mission is over.
