Do you have any Drastoria headcanons you'd liked to share?

I love Drastoria, they are so soft and sweet!

Draco wrote Astoria everyday they were separated while she was in school and he wasn’t

It was the start of their relationship, him giving her all these little bits and pieces of himself

Astoria in turn wrote back with questions and declarations of her own, though she only wrote back once a week

They rarely saw each other until she graduated, but the few moments they had together they spent exploring the physical side of their relationship

“I drew stars around your scars”

Astoria would trace all of Draco’s scars, and she had the winding serpent shape of the dark mark memorized, she designed the sleeve he got tattooed to covered the mark

(It’s flowers, beautiful and bright and colorful, Draco could never say no to her)

In return, Astoria got the Draco constellation on her forearm, where the dark mark would’ve been branded

They never actually moved in together, Astoria’s things just sort of migrated into his place after she graduated

Her parents didn’t quite know if they “liked” Draco, he was always kind and polite, but they made sure to distance themselves from any DE families

Draco always made sure to be on his best behavior and most respectful to her parents, especially because they were older and had higher standards on courtship

Not that Draco or Astoria would ever call their relationship “courting”

Draco proposed at Astoria’s job, she was a waitress at a Muggle restaurant in London, they both cried when she said yes

Their wedding was actually quite small, only family and friends, and held at the Malfoy Manor against their wishes

(They wanted to get married in a small church in the countryside, but old inheritance/courtship rules didn’t allow it)

It took them a few years to get pregnant with Scorpius, and Astoria hated being pregnant

But she loved her baby boy so much!!

She picked out his name, Scorpius Hyperion! Hyperion was the Titan of light

They raised Scorpius in a small Muggle town until he was about seven/eight and they moved into the Manor to help take care of Lucius as he was sick

Scorpius was the first Malfoy ever to go to school, and a Muggle school at that, but he did have some private dance and music tutors

(Narcissa and Lucius weren’t going to allow him to be completely “uncivilized”)

Draco and Astoria had become even more private at the Manor, raising Scorpius to have a “public” and “private” persona

Then Lucius died and it was treated as a celebration, he had come home from Azkaban a cruel and bitter man, treating his family the worst

(Scorpius could never live up to his expectations, Draco got rid of all of his things other than the damned peacocks)

Astoria was a little disappointed that Scorpius didn’t fall that far from the tree and became a Slytherin, but then she met Al and realized that maybe she shouldn’t worry as much

Draco will never be on great terms with the trio or any Weasley, but Astoria is and he will live with the discomfort for her

They adore Al and later Rose when Scorpius and her start to date

They are the same mind as Ron and Hermione, sure that their kids relationship won’t last and with each year slowly realizing they are going to be forced to be in-laws

(Unlike Blaise and Daphne who never really acknowledge Ron and Hermione as in-laws while Lyla and Hugo are in a relationship)

Draco and Astoria are wonderful grandparents to their six grandchildren and their four great nephews and niece

Draco has two kids named after him, Apollo Draco Malfoy and Hector Draco Weasley-Zabini, while Astoria has a granddaughter named after her, Artemis Astoria Malfoy

They also have a small collection of goddaughters, Sam Goyle, Lyla Zabini, Anamika Nott who all treat them as another set of parents

I just really love Drastoria and adore them and will get more specific if anyone has any questions!!

This ask has been in my inbox for a while, mainly because I’ve already written a fic about Louis, it’s on my Ao3, it’s called Lungs

But here are some things about Louis:

He was diagnosed at 4/5 with autism

Victoire was the one to notice something wasn’t exactly right about him

Didn’t make her or Dominique love him any less

The same couldn’t be said for Bill and Fleur

(Bill always wanted a rough and tumble son, Fleur wanted an outspoken son like Bill)

He’s very quiet and speaks in a monotone voice

He has light sensitivity and often wears sunglasses every where he goes

He loves to paint, art is one of his special interests

He is also very good with languages, he speaks French best of his siblings

He has an eye for small details and loves to watch and observe a room

Often times he’s found sitting with Arthur at a family event, along with Al and Lucy

Louis just enjoys the quiet Arthur allows him to have

He’s very close to his Uncle Charlie, they are pen pals and write one another every other week

He’s sorted into Ravenclaw, following after Victoire and Lucy

He is the youngest grandson, but should’ve been the youngest grandchild, he was born 10 weeks early

Fleur blames herself

He becomes role model to his nephew Regulus, much like how Charlie was to him

Despite what much of the family think and believe about him being a shortcoming, he does end up being very happy and successful

Louis marries Anamika Nott and together they have five kids, his art gets shown in both Muggle and Wizarding galleries all over London and Paris, and he is commissioned by the Ministry to make formal portraits of several war heroes, including his uncles Harry and Ron and Aunt Hermione

Devansh

His birthday is August 30, 2000

He is the oldest of them all

He is the big brother to everyone, and all of the younger kids love him so much!

He was sorted into Ravenclaw like his Amma and he really adores Padma

His godparents are Parvati and Dean, he is very close to them and was very upset when they divorced

His best friends are Naveen Thomas, Sam Goyle, and his brother Hajari, but he is friendly with Teddy Lupin, Victoire Weasley, and Sean Finnigan

When he was a year old his parents split up even though his Amma was pregnant with Hajari

He remembers the first few years of his life being passed between his parents, until his Appa was hospitalized for cancer

After that they were a happy family, and his little sister Anamika was born, followed soon after by the other Nott children

Sam and Devansh always were good friends, both being the oldest sibling and in Ravenclaw and just used to the chaos of their parents

They’re friendship turned into a relationship when they were sixteen and fourteen, and they never really looked back

Sam graduated Hogwarts about four months pregnant with their first daughter, Ernika

She was born just after Devansh passed his Auror training

Born January 19, 2002

Not only is he the first Nott sibling born in nearly three generations, he goes and gets himself sorted into Gryffindor

Hajari is loud and wild in his youth, but that doesn’t stop him from becoming a prefect or Head Boy

It also doesn’t stop him from falling in love with Veronica Finnigan and pledging his life to her at eleven

Veronica is his best friend and their relationship is super rocky for a long time, but he’s also best friends with his cousin Sasha Thomas and also Jacob Wood

He has thrown more parties in the Gryffindor common room than any one person or group since the early 1900s

He also had a thriving weed business while in school, to the point that years later his younger siblings get asked if they have any weed

He later becomes a Healer, specializing in OBGYN/pediatrics

He and Veronica eventually get it right and have five kids, including triplets!

Anamika

Born July 29, 2007

She is the first Nott daughter born in seven generations (that is allowed to live)

She’s the first Slytherin in the family, she’s ambitious and witty, but also quite shy too

Her best friend is Lyla Zabini, she’s three weeks and one day younger than Anamika

They consider themselves sisters and are godsisters, Scorpius is their godbrother

She’s a prefect and gets close to Louis on their rounds together

They start dating their seventh year and that’s it for them

They elope the summer after graduation and have their first daughter a year later

Anamika is the Head Editor of the Health and Beauty section of the Prophet and the youngest Head Editor in nearly a decade

Minali

Born February 3, 2011

She is a true Slytherin, taking after her Appa in many ways, she does have a vicious mouth when provoked, but she is the sweetest person in the world to those she loves

She is a fighter, she’s very much a punch or curse first and suffer the consequences later

She holds the family title for most detentions

She has a really good relationship with Devansh as she was born the year before he went to Hogwarts and made sure to spend a lot of time with her

She shares a room with Anamika at home and the pair of them always read to one another or share gossip about their house members

Despite her detentions and constant troubling behavior, she does receive good marks and gets herself a high sought after job at the Ministry

Then she meets Darren Pucey, he’s ten years older than her, married, and he wants a lay thing

Minali gets pregnant and Darren tries to take her baby, she gets a restraining order and hides away in the old Nott manor

It’s been being used as a wedding venue, Minali and her daughter Eva live in the groundskeeper house and care for the manor and help with events

It isn’t the life she planned, but it’s safer for her and her daughter and she does grow to enjoy the relaxing setting

Vinanti

Born May 1, 2013

She was supposed to be the last baby

They planned for her to be the last baby

She was a big step for Theo, he went to Hogwarts for the first time since he left after the war to tell his sons about her birth

Despite being two years younger than Minali, they don’t really get close until Anamika graduates and Vinanti moves into her side of the bedroom

She starts Hogwarts during Anamika’s seventh year and she feels the comfort of her oldest sister being around

She’s sorted into Ravenclaw along with her best friend Ella Davies

Vinanti goes through a period of time questioning her sexuality because Ella comes out to her

Their friendship turns into a relationship very slowly and then all at once

Vinanti loves being Ella’s girlfriend, even if Ella isn’t out to her parents, but they had been holding hands and kissing each others cheeks for years before they started dating

They do get caught in a broom closet by Cho (Ella’s mum) one night towards the end of their sixth year, and Ella finally finds the courage to come out to her parents

(Ella’s family is very difficult and she has a very traumatic summer when her dad disowns her)

She and Vinanti do graduate Hogwarts and become Quidditch writers

Tarika

Born February 9, 2016

The older twin and she makes sure that Rishi always knows it

She is a bit of a troublemaker, she’s very much like Hajari

She also is sorted into Gryffindor and she becomes very involved with Quidditch unlike her older siblings

She plays Chaser and later becomes Quidditch Captain her sixth year

She does plan to sign on to a team upon graduating, but a Bludger to her lower back takes her out of the game

She’s told by Healers that if she gets another back injury there’s a risk that she won’t be able to walk again

So she decides to become a writer, she writes about the new up and coming players (and sleeps with a good number of them too)

Then she meets Ollie Jay Wood, the youngest member of the Wood family and the new Magpies Keeper

He’s 18 and she’s 21, but they just click

After six months of dating she finds out she’s pregnant, at their one year anniversary they run off and elope in India

They’re son (Oliver III) O is born about a month later and they are incredibly happy

Rishi

Born February 9, 2016

The younger twin and he hates it

He is the baby and hates it when all of his sisters tease him but they also dote on him too

He is the only Hufflepuff in the family and feels a bit like an outcast

But he is very close to Hajari and Theo, they get along so well and it makes Rishi decide to become a Healer

He ends up working in oncology

When he’s pretty young he meets one of the other families in the building the family lives in, they have a daughter a year younger than him, Eliza

She Muggle, but it doesn’t matter, they become pen pals while he’s away at Hogwarts and Rishi enjoys having a Muggle friend

They slowly become closer over the years and start dating after they have both graduated from school

Rishi is in his training but still living at home and Eliza starts at uni but they spend as much time together as they can

They eventually move in together and get married

Goyle/Parkinson (Gregory and Pansy)

Sam Goyle

Born September 13, 2001

Pansy hated being pregnant, but she adores her daughter

She was nine when her parents divorced, she was given Gregory’s last name

She had been upset about the divorce, but it was obvious how unhappy her parents were together

She stayed strong for her siblings though, always keeping her head up high while others whispered and gossiped about her

Even more so when she got to Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw

It was the push to make her and Devansh even closer

She has a wicked sense of humor and a smart mouth that gets her in trouble at times, but her mother had taught her to speak and not punch

Though if needed too, she also has a wicked right hook and a heavy foot when needed

The first person she told about Ernika was Hajari, before even Devansh and she made sure he was her godfather

She and Devansh are so happy whenever they’re together, and even though Ernika came before they were ready to be parents, she is their drive in everything they do

They get married when Ernika is six, and give her two siblings a few years later, Kyler and Sam

Mira Parkinson

Born January 13, 2005

She’s the older twin

She takes her responsibility as an older sibling very seriously, but while Sam is effortless in her love and attention, Mira is a bit more aggressive

She was sorted into Slytherin at no surprise to literally anyone who had met her

She’s very much like Pansy, and is very harsh and straightforward and blunt

She is known for being quite bitchy and rude

She comes out when she’s fourteen, after realizing that she fell in love with her best friend, Olivia Perry

Olivia’s family pretty much disowned her for her sexuality, so she just follows Mira from home to home

Mira is a lot for most people, but she is well loved by her siblings and the other Society kids

She and Olivia get married in a very public wedding and have three daughters

Jacob Goyle

Born January 13, 2005

He’s the younger twin

If Mira is the mouth between them, Jacob is the brawn

He usually just stands in the background being quiet and intimidating while Mira bitches someone out

He has had to cart his twin away before she got into a fight she wouldn’t be able to win

He was sorted into Slytherin before Mira, but no one was surprised there either

He’s actually very intelligent with an interest in magical creatures, especially dragons

He leaves and moves to a dragon reserve in China when he graduates from Hogwarts, meeting a visiting American that he falls in love with

Together they work on breeding different dragons, taking a special interest in a pair of albino Chinese Fireballs

They eventually move back to England, working in the zoo

They get married quickly upon coming back to England

As they’re about to have a baby and Pansy will not let them do it out of wedlock like Sam

They don’t care as long as their happy

Calvin Parkinson

Born June 13, 2008

He’s the sweetest of them all

He’s very much the baby and treated so by his siblings

He’s two when his parents divorce, and he’s the most adjusted to being passed from parent to parent

He’s the Hufflepuff

He is stupidly stubborn and it annoys all of his siblings and his friends

He falls in love very young, with the one and only Ashleigh (Ash) Wood

She’s 13 and he’s 15 when they start dating, and everyone is ready for them to fall apart

But years go by and both of their families are surprised when it’s been three years after Ash has graduated and their not engaged

Then Calvin sits his parents down and tells them that they’ll have to deal with him being in love with Ash and to accept their engagement

Their wedding is very calm and simple, then they blink and their pregnant

He grew up pretty normal compared to some of the other society kids

He went to Muggle primary school and went to church on Sundays, he played football and LLQuidditch

He also had the usual ballroom dance, language, and self defense classes all these pureblood children go through

He meets Al and Rose on the train to Hogwarts and he and Al become instant best friends

They’re both little nerds, Al loves cars, Scorpius knew every lyric to Weird Sisters albums, they both love Quidditch and wanted to be Aurors

Scorpius is sorted into Slytherin and Al follows

(Cursed Child is bad ff so I don’t follow it)

Scorpius and Rose start dating the summer before fifth year, and their parents keep waiting for them to break up and they don’t

They did the thing where the others parents liked them as a person so it wasn’t hard to see them dating

But they don’t like their in-laws

Scorpius is a true romantic at heart like his dad while Rose is a dreamer like Ron

But they both have their logical side like their mums

Scorpius does end up becoming an Auror and marrying Rose and they have six kids named after Greek Gods and a family member

Zabini (Blaise/Daphne)

Lyla

Born August 20, 2007

She has an anxiety disorder that always flares up when she is stressed out, not many people know about it and she sees a therapist for most of her Hogwarts years

She is sorted into Slytherin and shares a dorm bedroom with Anamika, they are best friends

Scorpius is like her older brother and they treat each other like siblings

She falls in love with Hugo Weasley the summer before their seventh year

They return to the school as both boyfriend/girlfriend and Head Boy/Girl

Hugo is so chaotic but when Lyla’s anxiety gets worse he is there supporting her every second of it

She becomes a writer for Witch Weekly and the Prophet after graduating and gets a few original books published (some with Hugo as a co-author)

They wait a very long time to have kids, but end up having four

They also wait a long time to get married, their oldest son is 17 when they finally tie the knot

They never move out of their London flat much to their parents displeasure

TW: Rape

Lily’s story is a very difficult one to tell, I have always known that she was raped and that there was her life before and her life after this happened to her. Whenever speaking about her story I will always tag it with the trigger warning at the top of the post and in the tags. Though I promise that it doesn’t go into detail in the story nor will I ever share that scene directly on tumblr.

It will be about Lily-Lu and her sixth year at Hogwarts. That was the year when her life changed very drastically, she was raped after a party walking alone to her dorm.

She really struggles to come to terms with what happened to her, she’s Harry Potter’s daughter, his only daughter and someone had attacked her! It was such a shameful and disgusting act, how could she allow someone to do that to her?

She meets Ryan though, and while the mutual attraction and friendship and affection starts to grow, she just can’t quite open up to him. But it turns out Ryan is also keeping a pretty big secret about his life too, one that he fears will make him stick out even more against the Potter-Weasley family that he’s suddenly surrounded by. He already feels he’s behind because he has no idea why this family is so well known as it is.

But when the same student that raped her is caught up in assault charges on a friend and her story is spread through the gossip channels at Hogwarts and makes its way to her parents, Lily is forced to finally tell those in her life what happened to her.

I have James and Katie being pregnant with Jason weaved in, and Al will make his appearances, Roxanne is a fun background character (along with Sean and Sasha), then of course Hugo and Louis along with their future SO’s Lyla Zabini and Anamika Nott are featured too. There will also be some guest appearances from an (eternally) young Miss Lily Evans. This is a really heavy story, but I hope to have it finished sometime in June or early July 🤞

Scorpius HC!!

I just finished a fic with Scorpius as the main character two weeks ago!! So let’s get this started!

Draco and Astoria had been so happy to get pregnant with him

Even if it was a struggle

And then Astoria HATED being pregnant

It was the morning sickness that got her, everything else was fine, even when she couldn’t see her own feet or get up without help

Scorpius was born in the middle of the night, January 25, 2005

He’s an Aquarius

He had a very lovely childhood growing up in a small village

Draco was a room aid at the local primary and Astoria worked at the library and sometimes waitressed at a local restaurant

It really wasn’t much, but it was simple and happy and gave Scorpius an appreciation for Muggles and a Muggle lifestyle

He ended up dreading visiting the manor to see his grandparents, especially Lucius

They were just mean to him, to his parents, to the life they lived

And he was a child

Astoria gets pregnant again! This time with a little girl! But then she miscarried

Scorpius was so excited to be an older brother, because he was the only one of his friends that wasn’t an older sibling

But Draco and Astoria are scared to try again, so Scorpius decides to be the best godbrother and older cousin he can be

And he’s really good at it!! Lyla and Anamika adore him! (The feeling completely mutual)

When he’s ten, his grandfather dies

It’s treated as a celebration, and Draco moves Astoria and Scorpius and himself into the manor to keep an eye on Narcissa

Scorpius doesn’t like the manor, it’s dark and drafty and feels off, but he finds a safe space in his room and his parent’s room across the hall

For events, Astoria still lays out his clothes and Draco ties his ties for him, even after he turns seventeen

For as long as he lives with them, they will treat him like the little Prince he is

He is his parents pride and joy, and he loves them so much

When he goes to Hogwarts and becomes friends with Al, he worries a little, but then realizes that it doesn’t matter

He isn’t Draco and Draco knows this too

The Potters and Weasleys all grow to love Scorpius quickly and his parents grow to love Al just as fast

The same happens when he starts dating Rose

Ron and Hermione are a bit unsure about it, but they trust Rose and her judgement

But even Hugo likes Scorpius, and Scorpius does take the time to become friends with Hugo

He will even come to visit the Granger-Weasleys just to hang out with Hugo and talk about football

He becomes an Auror after leaving Hogwarts, and Al is his partner until he leaves

Scorpius becomes a trainer for new recruits and ends up making the training more effective and better

He marries Rose after their first son is born

They have six kids, Hermes Hugo, Athena Hermione, Hephaestus Ronald, the twins Artemis Astoria and Apollo Draco, and finally baby Aphrodite Lyla

All of their children are named after someone they love

I just see Scorpius having a very loving and fulfilling life

Breathe in, breathe out, try to be normal, try to be like everyone else, try not to drown....

Louis has been trying to be normal since he was diagnosed with autism at the age of five. Now at seventeen, life seems to be repeating itself in some ways, starting with Dominique jumping out her window to run away, just as Victoire did at eighteen. All of his life, he had been at the sidelines, quiet and trying to stay calm, even as noise and light and everything that he hates and can't stand make their way in.

But it's easier to ignore with Anamika, with Mia, close to him. She's smart and funny and so beautiful it almost hurts to look at her, and he loves her. He loves her so much, but even as her feelings become more and more obvious, he doesn't know if he can make himself love her.

He doesn't want to drown, even as the riptide pulls him down.

Victoire:

So everything changes when Dominique is born

Victoire is seven years older than her, eight years older than Louis

All of her parents attention is taken off of her, and they didn’t even ask her if she wanted to be an older sibling

Basically she doesn’t like the baby boom in the family, James, Freddie, and Roxanne are about five years younger than her, while Rose and Al are six

By the time she Hogwarts age she can’t wait to be out of the cottage

Whenever she comes home, she’s treated like the family babysitter, along with Teddy

She was the first person to notice something was off with Louis

By the time she’s sixteen, she starts to make her only plans for the summer with her grandparents in France and Tante Gabrielle

It’s where she meets her future husband SJ

They have a long distance relationship until SJ just shows up at the Memorial Day on May 2nd

He’s two years older than Victoire and already graduated from Beauxbatons

Bill doesn’t like him, he just sees all the trouble he’s going to cause for them, but Victoire doesn’t care

A few days after she’s graduated from Hogwarts, she just leaves

She’s tired of the fighting, she tired of Bill being a bit controlling, she’s just tired of it all

She and SJ run off to France together and elope and get pregnant very quickly

(Because they were already pregnant)

Arcturus, their oldest is born in January

Victoire and SJ got into a fight before she went into labor and SJ left her to clear his head, but by the time he came back she was gone

He calls her parents in hope that they can help, and this is what they had fought about

She had lied to him about her parents knowing where she was, and had refused to get into contact with them about the baby

Bill and Fleur bring them both back to England with them and get them a flat and SJ a job with Teddy

But Victoire doesn’t want any of it

When she gets on her feet, she and SJ move out of the flat and into their own place hidden from the rest of the family

They rarely go to any family events, and she never returns back to Shell Cottage

She just doesn’t want what her parents want for her, she wants to live the life she choose for herself and if it means cutting out her parents she will

And it’s exactly what she does

Dominique:

She Bill’s favorite and she knows it and uses it to her advantage

She isn’t close to Fleur, she just isn’t the daughter that Fleur wanted

She isn’t graceful or calm or elegant, she’s a tomboy and loves it

She refuses to wear skirts or heels, she’s rubbish at French, and she’s the family gossip

Dominique knows all the secrets and loves to share them

Until she becomes the secret

Getting pregnant at sixteen with the wrong twins baby was not the plan, it was supposed to be Lorcan, not Lysander

Though honestly the getting pregnant part was really really not the plan at all

Add in the fact that she doesn’t want to tell her parents, she doesn’t seek comfort in her parents, and she doesn’t want to even factor in her parents, you get a pretty big strain

They want her to keep the baby and drop out of Hogwarts and raise him at home with their help

Dominique instead gives him up for adoption

She can’t raise this baby, she’s too young and immature and she knows this about herself

They try to put that year behind them, but it lingers whenever Dominique is around and she knows it

Then she drops the bombshell that she got accepted into Muggle University

Bill and Fleur are furious, they think she’s trying to follow the same path as Victoire

She leaves days after she graduates from Hogwarts and moves into the dorms

She builds a life at university, she waits tables and does well in her classes, when she graduates she marries Lorcan

Her parents don’t approve of Lorcan or Lysander anymore after the whole pregnancy thing

Lorcan covered for Lysander and took the blame, until everything just fell apart

They never acknowledge Lorcan as family and it’s enough for Dominique to cut them out of their lives

Louis:

Not only is Louis the biggest surprise of their life, but he was also born very early, about ten weeks early

He was just barely four pounds when he was born, and completely silent

He lived in the NICU until September that year (he was born in April)

He brought so much stress to them and it didn’t stop from there

I mentioned earlier that Victoire was the first person to notice something was weird about Louis, that’s true

He has autism and Bill and Fleur just aren’t capable of handling it

Actually, they are, they just refuse to

It’s just a huge disappointment to them, Bill especially

Louis has no interest in Quidditch or chocolate frog cards or anything that Bill grew up with

But he loves to paint and sketch, he’s loves to go surfing and ride around on his longboard, he loves to drive the keep when he’s old enough

He speaks French best out of all three of them, even Victoire after she lived in France for six months with SJ

The issues are that he’s too quiet, he has extreme light sensitivity, he hates anyone to touch him without consent and even with consent

Everything has to be thought through and his family is too impulsive for that

Louis notices all the little cracks in their marriage, long before Bill and Fleur do

He can chart their fights in a three act play, and he only needs to say which act they’re in for Dominique to know when they can go downstairs

He knows more than anyone how much his sisters come and go from the cottage, his bedroom has the easiest window to climb back into

When he and Mia start dating, his parents aren’t concerned about Mia, they’re concerned about how he can be in a relationship

How he can be normal

Mia puts the ground rules down right away, mostly that there is no such thing as normal

Louis feels the same distance from his parents that his sisters alway talk about

When he graduates, it’s the first time that both of his sisters and his parents are all together in years

And it’s a mess

He and Mia move into a little cottage and elope and Louis finally feels ‘normal’ as his parents call it

Then Mia gets pregnant, and both his parents and her parents don’t think that they should be as happy as they are

They don’t think that Louis can raise a baby

But Mia does, and that’s all that matters

Louis is more in contact with his parents than his sisters, but the strain is obvious

I really love the Delacour/Weasley family, but I honestly don’t think that Bill and Fleur would be good parents or have great relationships with their children

With Time’s Always Leaving wrapping up, I have some news on my next project! It’s about Louis and Anamika/Bill and Fleur and how they got together. It will explore what it’s like to be an autistic person at Hogwarts and part of a big loud family, and also include some of my head canons for Bill/Fleur and their relationship with their children! It’s the first of the Album Verse, and I’m excited to share more later this week!

I haven’t done any head canons in a while, so here are some Louis/Anamika and Audrey/Percy thoughts!

Louis/Audrey:

Like Percy he is a Weasley and the quietest at that, but that is really where their similarities end

Though they also physically look the same as Louis is a mini!Bill until he’s sixteen and just shoots up to almost Percy’s height, but other than that, that’s where the similarities end

Okay, so Louis and Audrey are very similar

They both have a really good relationship with one (1) sibling and have kind of fallen out with the other/they died

Louis and Victoire just have an understanding with each other, as they are both not their parents favorite child

And Louis has a sort of falling out with Dominique after he starts dating Anamika

Audrey in turn has a close relationship with her little brother Rory because of the lost of her twin brother Lucas

Victoire really likes Anamika and grows to love her, and Rory does the same when Audrey and Percy start to date

They are both the only sibling of their gender, Louis has two sisters, Audrey two brothers

Louis is very disconnected from his parents and Audrey lost her parents in the war

Louis never truly feels like he fits in with the Weasley family, not until he has kids of his own, and it takes Audrey a while to feel close to any of the Weasleys, even the ones she knows through the Ministry and school

Louis and Audrey are both very creative, Louis with his art and Audrey with her designs and seamstress work

But they both give up/step back to raise their family so their partner can keep their dream job

Louis and Audrey are both homebodies and have no want to go into the world after everything they been through

Louis with his autism has a hard time interacting with others, while Audrey was on the run during the war and living in fear, then very stressed while working at the Ministry

Louis is very dedicated to the family he makes with Anamika and sees it as his own little piece of heaven, Audrey feels the same way with Percy and their girls

Anamika/Percy:

Anamika and Percy were both born third into pureblood families

They both have two wildly different older brothers that they don’t always see eye to eye with

Anamika has a bit of a falling out with her oldest brother Devansh when she gets pregnant at nineteen, and Percy and Bill are too alike to get along/see eye to eye, especially after the war

That being said, they are both extremely close to their oldest niece which is their oldest brother’s daughter

Anamika comes from a family of seven siblings just like Percy and feels left out at times because of their birth order

Their younger siblings all pair up and so do their older brothers because of age/personalities

They both have younger twin siblings that they really do adore and are closer to than they imagined

And they both also end up having twin daughters who are more unexpected than they want to think about

They both carve out a job they want, with Percy taking over the books and finances for the joke shop and Anamika forcing her way into the Editors spot of the gossip and beauty section of the Prophet

They both work very closely to someone they love dearly, Percy with George, Anamika with her godsister/best friend Lyla

They both fall in love almost immediately with the person they eventually marry, Percy bought an engagement ring a month after dating, Anamika told Louis she loved him after kissing him for the first time

They are very protective of Louis and Anamika around their own family and also their partners family, they just love their partner so much and want to protect them against any harm

They both want a family when they are young, and while that doesn’t work out 100% for Percy it does for Anamika

They both also want to have a bigger family, and while Percy doesn’t get that Anamika does

They see a lot of hopes and dreams in their partner and that means so much to them and they try as hard as they can to make it happen

I just see so many similarities between these four and I love them SO FREAKING MUCH!! Audrey and Percy will always be my otp and Louis and Anamika have been such a joy to write about lately! That being said, I am working so hard on Louis and Anamika’s story right now and hope to have it finished before Nanowrimo so I can work on Al and Maggie’s story!!

The Last Time

I have been writing about Louis and Anamika for quite a while now, and at 30k words they still haven't kissed and I wrote this just so I could write them as a couple. As a reminder my Louis Weasley is autistic with sound/light/touch sensitives, while Anamika Nott is the oldest daughter of the Theodore and Padma Nott.

This song just makes me think of a couple fighting and making up during a rain storm, so here we go! @petalstosarah Thank you for such a great prompt!!

She stood frozen in her tracks, the rain was coming down in sheets around them, soaking her to the bone, to her very core, despite the summer warmth still lingering in the air. It wasn’t the wakeup call she wanted or needed, it just made hiding the tears on her face easier.

“Louis…Louis please?” she called after him.

For the first time in months, she could imagine his hair clean, his skin free of paint and charcoal dust, the color of his art washed clean of him. She could imagine a boy that she didn’t know, but loved, she could imagine her husband as he stood in front of her on their wedding day a year ago.

“Lou-“

“This is the last time I’m asking you,” he whispered, not turning to look at her, but his voice still carrying back to her over the sudden crash of thunder. “Why?”

Every hair on her body rose at the shaking boom, and she responded quickly, “you’ll break my heart, in the blink of an eye. I can’t lose them.”

Louis turned around, and even from the distance Anamika could see the tear tracks on his face, and his red rimmed eyes. “This was your idea.”

“I know,” called Anamika, taking a step forward, she just wanted to hold his hand, to feel his skin on hers. He always came to her for comfort, always came to her for love and reassurance and everything that she desperately needed right now. “But they’re my family, L-“

“And you’re my family!”

Anamika closed her mouth, she could count on one hand the amount of times she had ever heard Louis yell, and this was the first time his anger was ever pointed at her. Suddenly, her parent’s concerns, her older brothers’ worries, even his parents and older sisters ill spoken words came back to her.

Are you sure he can handle a baby?

“Louis,” whispered Anamika, as the Earth shook again around them and thunder boomed so loud Anamika felt her balance waver. “I love you and Navya-“

Anamika closed her eyes as Louis grabbed her face and kissed her, his hands warm and calloused and familiar as they held her face with the utmost care. She had wanted to have a baby, even if they were just nineteen, even if it was stupid. She wanted a baby and a career, he had only wanted to marry her and make her happy.

“I told you the first time I felt her move,” whispered Louis, his lips brushing against hers as he held her face close to his, “that I would look after her, that I can handle our daughter. I don’t care what they have to say or think about me, I don’t care that I’m autistic, I told you that you could walk away when we first started dating Mia, and you told me-“

“That I would never do that,” Anamika told him, as she felt a sob get stuck in her throat. “I’m sorry.”

“We have to prove them all wrong Mia,” said Louis, and Anamika felt their daughter kick her stomach, her small foot pressing as far forward as it could. “I’m not going to be a perfect husband or father, I’m still going to have sensory sensitives and struggle with holding her…but Navya means the world to me…just like you.”

Anamika nodded, promising herself that this would truly be the last time she ever allow other people to make decisions in her relationship. She had loved Louis since the first moment they had locked eyes at eleven, since the first time he smiled at her at sixteen, since the first time she had kissed him at seventeen.

She had married him on a warm summer day, exactly like this one. They had gone to the Ministry in startling sunlight, and came back to a never ending rain storm.

They had only been dating nine months before they got married, had only been married for seven months before they got pregnant with Navya. Now she was six months pregnant with their daughter, there was no looking back, no moving back in with her parents, no leaving Louis because they didn’t think he could handle a newborn.

Anamika closed her eyes as Louis kissed her, her hand moving up into his hair as thunder boomed around them and shook the Earth again. She felt one of Louis’ hands leave her face and move down to her stomach, to their baby girl kicking against her stomach.

Later, when she would look out the window, her head resting on Louis’ chest as he snored into her hair quietly, there would be a rainbow in the sky.

30k words in and they have held hands several times, make jokes and giggle together quite a bit, and just find each other whenever they can, but haven’t even kissed yet!! My own slow burn fic is making me frustrated!!!

I really love your series on the members of different houses. I’m really curious about Theo and Padma.....could you please give some headcanons for them.

So the reason why I didn’t write a oneshot fic about them is because I actually have a whole 100,000 word fic written about them and don’t know how I want to edit it to post. It expands from the night the got together to Devansh and Sam’s wedding. It’s Padma and Theodore, but interspersed with Anamika and Louis, in a way that makes it seem like Anamika is telling the story. It’s working title is called Reflections, but I don’t know if I want to post it.

Padma did not want a relationship, at least not with Theodore Nott

He had been in love with her since fourth year

Padma is an Unspeakable after the war, while Theodore is the Head Accountant for St. Mungo’s charitable donations (and he donates his salary back to the hospital)

Theodore is such a trouble maker, it’s the one thing that always made him stand out

The day that he and Padma start hooking up (because that’s what it is in the beginning) is the day his father had been convicted to Azkaban for at least four life sentences

Theodore is also the richest of the Slytherin pack, but chooses to live in a dingy one bedroom flat

He’s surprisingly down to earth, more than most people would think

His father was extremely abusive and so it was easier to hide than anything else

His mother died in childbirth with his little sister Theresa, and his father killed the midwife and his sister on sight

Padma grew up pretty middle class, but her parents went back to India during the war and decided to stay

Parvati and Dean’s wedding is a turning point for their relationship

Padma is already 16 weeks along with Devansh at that point

Being pregnant with Devansh is weird to her, but what’s weirder is Theodore and his friends

She and Astoria do get on right away, before she and Draco even start dating

Padma realizes that she can be with Theodore when someone asks what they’re going to name the baby and Theodore tells them either Devansh or Minali

She didn’t expect that from him and it’s why all of their children have Indian names, Theodore picked most of their first names and Padma picked most of their middle names

All of their names have an English equivalent, but none of them really use it

Padma doesn’t like nicknames but she bends for Vinanti, they call her Vee

So after Devansh they have Hajari about two years later

Padma left Theodore while pregnant with Hajari, and they co-parent but are not good at it

Then when Hajari is about three and Devansh five, Theodore gets really sick

He has cancer and Padma watches him go through the whole thing because of their children

It makes her realize that she really loves him

Anamika is born nine months after Theodore goes into remission and is the first Nott daughter born in seven(?) generations

It takes them a few more years (3) for them to get married, they have a more traditional Indian wedding with some English traditions

During the speeches, Millie steps in as Theodore’s Best Man and makes everyone cry

Minali is born nine months later and Millie is her godmother

Astoria and Padma start to create the Society, a charity group made up of mostly Slytherin alumni

They use their connections to Slytherins (Astoria), the Ministry (Padma and Draco), and St. Mungo’s (Theodore) to do a lot of good

Vinanti is born two years after Minali and they decide they’re done

Three years later the twins are born

Tarika is the older twin and Rishi is the baby boy and hates it

He just doesn’t like all the teasing his older sisters give him

They are a really close knit family, even with the 16 year age difference between Devansh and the twins

There are things that separate Devansh and Hajari from the other five, but they never focus on it too much

Now surprisingly Anamika is the outlier of the family, because Minali and Vee get really close after Anamika graduates and gets married to Louis

But she is still their sister and the girls will gang up to bully their brothers

Devansh and Hajari are really close, but Devansh isn’t as close to Rishi as Hajari is

I have a million headcanons for the kids, so I’m not going to make this any longer

Dominique&Lorcan:

Dominique kind of dropped out of the family life/gossip after she graduated from school, so she was surprised to find out Al had a baby

Even more that he got married??? Like Al? Really??

She’s happy for him and this new life he wants to start with Maggie and their children

But children?? As in more than one??? What is Al he ring into??

Lorcan on the other hand is one of James’ best friends, and has known all since he was born, so he was surprised but not really

If James could knock up a girl, then Al was more than capable

The fact that he beat James by six months is hilarious to him

For every first of James’, Al has to try and one up

Louis&Anamika:

Louis could care less about the family drama, he’s nineteen and expecting his first baby

Anamika loves the drama, her oldest niece was quite the scandal and it’s nice to know that the Weasley/Potters aren’t immune to gossip either

(She writes an anonymous piece for the Prophet, but it doesn’t get published)

She does ask Maggie for some advice and finds out her brother Hajari was her healer with Coll and the girls

Molly:

(This a pre-Artie)

She’s a little shocked, she knew/was friends with Maggie

(She was a close friend to Artie’s while they were in school together)

She does jump on the chance to make baby clothes for them, and Collin is just so cute

She loves playing with him and being around the babies

She’s also happy that Al finally seems happy

Lucy&Devon:

Shocked, both of them

Lucy reacts slightly better than Devon who finds everything hilarious

She offers babysitting and clothes and a store discount to Maggie

In fact she and Molly help lead the charges in welcome Maggie to the family

Devon gets the joy of sharing the gossip on his radio show (even if it isn’t Quidditch related)

Freddie&LeeAnne:

Happy to not be the only ones to get pregnant their last year of school

Freddie doesn’t quite know what to say, he finds the situation both troubling and happy

He just remembers how Al was around girls while at school and it worries him

But then he sees Al comfort Collin and it goes away

LeeAnne is happy that Al finally grew up

She was worried about him and the trail of women he left behind

She rejected her family over their thoughts of her and her children, she didn’t want to see Al get pushed away for something stupider than that

Roxanne:

She doesn’t know what to say about the whole ordeal

She doesn’t think that Al is ready for the responsibility, but is happy when he proves her wrong

She’s also just confused about the whole timeline of events

Rose&Scorpius:

Haha, if Al told anyone about this situation it was them

He can’t keep secrets from Rose, and she doesn’t keep things from Scorpius

They’re so happy to finally meet Collin and the girls, Rose is just a few months away from having their first daughter Athena

They just adore Maggie, and Rose is smug about all of her suspicions in school being right

They do become Cecilia’s godparents so there is plenty of love shared between the four of them

Hugo&Lyla:

We know already that they adore Al and Maggie

Hugo is so happy for them, and Lyla definitely puts the effort into bringing her into the family

She’s not even fully considered family after dating Hugo for almost two years now, but she won’t allow for Maggie to feel that way

They offer babysitting services and Hugo has trouble giving Collin back to Al at the end of the night

Collin is the first person to call them Uncle ‘Go and Auntie Ly

James&Katie:

They’re a bit pissed that they have to find a new nanny for Jason

They really liked Maggie, but they also accept that they’re being a bit over dramatic

They grow to be happy for them, and they are Cassi’s godparents

Jason and Collin get really close and that never changes, even with age

Lily&Ryan:

Lily doesn’t quite know what to say, but she accepts being Ally’s godmother

Ryan is a bit confused, but doesn’t question anything

They make the effort to spend time with the girls, but they are also trying to live away from the family while they’re still in school

Al understands

Lily does really like Maggie though, and she can tell that Al is a lot happier than she’s seen him in years

(Not since he was with Maggie at Hogwarts)

Ryan is still trying to navigate the Potter family, so he becomes friends with Maggie as she’s more approachable than Katie

James and Marci hit it off right away

They meet when Marci interviews James for the Prophet (as Ginny can’t)

James is the new coach for the Wasps and Marci is a reporter

She’s new to England, originally from America

She has three young kids and so does James

This is all a master plan put in place by Lyla and Anamika (Hugo’s girlfriend and Louis’ wife)

Lyla pities James after the whole divorce and Anamika likes to cause a little trouble for James

The interview is awful, but James offers dinner to make up for it

It is NOT a date, but then it ends up being a date anyways

Marci writes a really flattering article and James just falls for her

They grow closer through play dates and the shared experience of raising children as single parents

James has it a bit easier because of his family, but Marci knows no one outside of her job or neighbors

When the Quidditch season starts, Marci is assigned to follow the team and write about them

This is when they start getting really close

In the tradition of my characters not knowing how to use birth control (because honestly! How does Hogwarts NOT have a sex ed class?) Marci gets pregnant

They have a long discussion about it because they both already have three kids each, and they’ve only really known each other for six months? Not even

But James feels different about this than when Katie told him she was pregnant

He feels hopeful and not scared at all

Marci feels the same way? And she doesn’t understand because she was pretty young when she had her oldest (about 17)

They decide to do it, to have the baby

They name their daughter Lilliana which is the combination of their sisters names (Lily and Anna)

Erinn Roxanne is born two years later, about five months after they get married

CJ (Camren James) is born two years after Erinn and they are done

James and Marci are both great step-parents, even though it takes a bit of a learning curve for both of them

Their biggest struggle is Jason, but holding Lilliana for the first time makes him come around, he has always loved his roll of big brother

Marci is also fully taken into the family, and her kids are just as much Harry and Ginny’s grandchildren as any of their other grandchildren

I did not think this would be so long, but here we are!

It’s the wedding they wanted to have, with their children and siblings and family with them

They do go back to that little town in France again

They have a proper honeymoon, but with no unexpected pregnancy this time

James and Katie:

She didn’t want to get married, or have kids

But James is her best friend and it’ll be okay

(There story will never be happy)

Katie is six months pregnant with their son, Jason

James cries, but Katie can’t make herself mourn her previous life

(It’s the other way around when she gives him the divorce papers, and his separation package from the team)

Freddie and LeeAnne:

They also get married because their pregnant

It’s also about an hour after they graduated from Hogwarts

LeeAnne wears the same dress Angelina wore at her wedding, and Angelina gives her the same bracelet her father gave her at her own wedding to George

Her older brother gives her away

Freddie cries as James marries them, the first of several weddings he’ll officiate

Their twin boys are born a few days later on George and Angelina’s 20th wedding anniversary

Roxanne (and Sean) and Sasha:

The day that Sean had been planning on proposing, he and his brother were killed in a car crash

Sasha proposes after their triplets are born

It’s as small as a Weasley wedding can be now

Roxanne is gorgeous, and Sasha is stunning

They promise themselves to each other and there is no dry eyes in the whole audience

The reception is a real party, it had been a while since there was a Weasley wedding

Rose and Scorpius:

Rose never wanted anything big, but Scorpius’ parents have to keep up with tradition

(Even if it’s only for Scorpius’ grandmother)

Al is Scorpius’ Best Man even though Rose asked him first, Becca is Rose’s Maid of Honor

Rose carries their son Hermes instead of flowers

Ron cries giving her away

It’s a perfect summer day, just like the day they had their first kiss

Scorpius is calm even though his emotions are about to break through

The reception is quieter than anyone expected, until Narcissa leaves and the alcohol comes out

It’s a day that the family thinks about fondly

Al and Maggie:

They get married in the Potters back garden

It’s the first wedding that Harry and Ginny host in their home

Maggie’s water broke just as the ceremony ends

She wanted to be married before her daughters are born

Scorpius was Best Man, and Rose was Maid of Honor

It was a moment that Al and Maggie had fought for a long time

As the day ends, their daughters are born, Aly and Cassie

Molly and Artie:

They elope (like her parents) in a moment of drunken idiocy

They tell the story much better when their girls start to ask about it

But the details are fuzzy and most of it is unknown to even the bride and groom

Lucy and Devon:

They elope at seventeen because Devon asked her to marry him on her seventeenth birthday, neither of them were going to be made Head Boy/Girl, and Lucy was pregnant

They get married in a barn on a family friends’ property

It’s a beautiful night, all of the cousins are there

James officiates, he did it for Freddie and LeeAnne a few years before

Molly is the Maid of Honor and Devon’s friend is Best Man

Freddie and Roxanne give Lucy away, even if Roxanne doesn’t agree that this is a good idea

Lucy is a vision in the dress Molly made her, and Devon is so handsome in his suit

The second time they get married is for their parents

They keep their original date, they wear the same clothes, Lucy is pregnant again, but this time it doesn’t end in a miscarriage

(In fact, she doesn’t know yet)

Percy cries giving her away, James officiates again, and everyone knows their roles the second time around

It’s not as beautiful as the first time, but the pictures are of slightly better quality

Dominique and Lorcan:

He proposes after she graduates from university

It’s a small wedding, not even all of the family knows about it

Dominique wears jeans and a t-shirt, bare feet and her curls flying behind her in the slight breeze

Lorcan is in shorts and a button up, he’s soaking wet from when his groomsmen threw him in the ocean

The sand sticks to his legs, the wind tangles her hair, they say “I do” quickly, and then it’s over

They honeymoon in a small town in France, and come back six months pregnant with their first daughter

Hugo and Lyla:

They are the very last to get married of the Weasley grandchildren

They had been dating for 27 years, and engaged for 17 (the same age as their oldest son Evan)

An hour before the grand ceremony and reception planned by Lyla’s mother, they get on a ferry to France

The Captain marries them in international waters, with their three sons and daughter as their witnesses

The second they get to France they apparate back to London

Lyla’s hair is ruined from the water and the wind, her dress is wet and dirty

She still would never change anything about the day, not her father’s annoyance, her mother’s anger, Hugo waiting for her at the alter

They got to have the ceremony they wanted, and also the ceremony carefully planned for them

The reception goes to hell when Lyla changes out of her wet dress and Hugo shows up in joggers and a t-shirt

Louis and Anamika:

They elope

Hugo and Dominique are there for Louis, Minali and Vinanti are there for Anamika

He’s covered in paint, she’s wearing a sundress

It’s simple and beautiful to them

They go home and Louis paints Anamika in her wedding dress

That’s the whole story

Lily and Ryan:

Lily had never been more nervous or anxious in her whole life, but holding Harry’s hand is so easy

Ryan is everything she has ever wanted and more

They have always had their own world since they met, it doesn’t change once they say “I do”

They are the second wedding in the Potters garden

They have a reception unlike either of her brothers, and it’s one last Potter summer party

Lily can’t imagine a better day, being surrounded by the people she loves most as she marries the one person that she can’t imagine her life without

Ryan feels as if he finally belongs, he is as much a Potter as he is a Stone, or a Finnigan-Thomas

It’s a perfect moment that never seems to stop

Teddy and Annabelle:

They get married at his Nan Andromeda’s old cottage

Their only eighteen, they’re young and stupid and ready to devote their lives to each other

Teddy had proposed at graduation and Annabelle couldn’t think of a reason to say no

She wears the dress her mother wore at her wedding

Teddy wears his father’s dress robes

They look so out of time, but are deliriously happy

Harry and Ginny stood in as Teddy’s parents, he had been under their care since he was three

Annabelle’s parents had also passed during the war, Percy and Audrey offer themselves up to stand in for her parents

Annabelle cherishes the photo of her standing between Percy and Audrey for the rest of her long life

Bonus:

James and Marci:

They both have three kids each, and then their daughter Lilliana

There is protests from the kids, temper tantrums from Jason, screaming matches from Josey

But James and Marci can’t deny their feelings for one another

They make the day about their families becoming one, no more Potters, no more Abrahams, just one united family

And it works

Marci slips to James that she’s pregnant again in the moments between their wedding and reception

They are both so young to have gone through the heartbreak their previous partners left them in

And they become a healthier and better family with their marriage to each other

Weddings & Weasleys:

Bill and Fleur:

They’re colors were gold and dark blue

Fleur’s dress was antique lace with a simple bodice and skirt

She wanted people to notice their inner beauty, not their outer beauty

Bill wanted all of his siblings to have a part of the wedding, but Fleur wanted a smaller bridal party

Charlie was always going to be Bill’s Best Man, but asking Ginny to be part of the bridal party wasn’t in the books

She is Bill’s favorite of the younger siblings though

The reception wasn’t what Fleur wanted before the Death Eaters arrived

She had really wanted to get married in France, but she resigned herself to the Burrow

Still, they were surrounded by people she loved, and one of her children would get married in France someday

Percy and Audrey:

They eloped

Percy didn’t want to be boggled down by plans, he had wanted to propose a month into their relationship

Audrey only had her little brother and she knew that he wouldn’t care if he missed her wedding

They were also pregnant

Audrey does imagine it, the dress she would’ve made for herself, the ceremony in the church she grew up going to, the reception in her parents back garden

Her mother helping her get ready, her father walking her down the aisle, both of her brothers mixed in with the other groomsmen

But it’s all wishful thinking because marrying Percy is the most happiness she gets until their girls are born

Percy remembers their wedding day whenever anything bad happens to them or their girls, because it means he has Audrey at his side

George and Angelina:

They planned it for a few months

They got married at their home, in the back garden with their families

They both were a mess during the ceremony, both crying and clinging to each other, but so so so happy

The reception was wild

Lots of alcohol and dancing, lots of joy and the toasts were ridiculous

Percy stepped in as Best Man and Alicia was Maid of Honor

Their godchildren and Victoire and Teddy were flower girls and the ring bearers

It was really cute and lovely and neither of them would’ve changed any of it

They were missing quite a few people, but they were remembered throughout the day in their friends and family

Angelina wore her mother’s dress and was the first daughter-in-law to get a replica of the same locket Arthur gave to Molly on their wedding day

(Fleur gets hers on her third wedding anniversary)

George and Angelina are just so happy to finally be married to one another

Ron and Hermione:

Ron proposes at George and Angelina’s wedding

He’s so nervous, even though he knows Hermione will say yes, they had picked out the engagement ring together

Hermione asks Harry to be her Man of Honor, and Ron asks Ginny to be his Best Girl

They both know that Harry is Best Man and Ginny is Maid of Honor, but it’s a reassurance they both needed

(Harry and Ginny find it hilarious!)

Ron is more involved with the planning than Hermione, but they do make 90% of the decisions together

They are both crying during the ceremony, and it’s so beautiful

They actually have two ceremonies, one in English and one in Spanish (for Hermione’s family)

Ron had even learned Spanish so he could recite his vows in both languages

The reception is wild, there are so many Muggles that magic can’t be used, but as the drinks flow, it’s forgotten pretty quickly

So much of their wedding was bargain shopper that their biggest expense was their rings

They got horrible food poisoning from the cater though and spent their first three days of their honeymoon horribly sick

Harry and Ginny:

Harry had proposed in 1999, they got married in 2003

They wanted a long engagement, Ginny didn’t want to be a “child bride”

It was Ron and Hermione getting married that made Ginny want to finally get married

(She was a little upset that Percy and Audrey eloped at the beginning of the summer, making her the last to get married in the family)

They want a very quiet and intimate ceremony, the reception they don’t care too much about

Harry asks Ron, George, and Neville to be his half of the wedding party

Ginny asks Hermione, Luna, and Angelina

It’s really only the wedding party, a few other close friends/DA members/Order members, and the rest of the Weasley family

Teddy and Victoire are the ring bearer and flower girl

A spot is left open for Harry’s family, his parents, Sirius, Remus and Tonks

He cries the second he sees Ginny in her dress

She cries during the vows

The reception is a true party, and even Dudley shows up for a little while

When they finally get home, Teddy asleep in Harry’s arms as they walk up to their house, Ginny tells Harry that she’s pregnant

James Sirius is born about seven months later at the end of March
