Superbowl Pre-Game Training (Part 2)

The sun blazed down on the Golden Army football field, making the golden turf shimmer like a battlefield of champions. Ares and Hercules, the identical twin behemoths, stomped onto the field, their massive frames packed into tight golden jerseys that barely contained their bulk. Their muscles gleamed with sweat, their light-gold eyes squinting against the sunlight as they cracked their thick necks in perfect sync.

“Bro, today’s the day,” Ares grunted, slapping his brother’s enormous shoulder. “We turn into absolute machines, bro. Titans ain’t ready for us.”

Hercules flexed his arms, veins bulging. “Pshh, they already lost, bro. We just gotta show up and let ‘em know.”

Coach blew the whistle, and the twins lined up for their linebacker drills. The task? Read the offense, react, and smash through the play like wrecking balls. Simple.

A quarterback dummy was set up behind a squad of tackling dummies representing the Emerald Titans' offensive line. Ares and Hercules crouched into position, their monstrous legs coiled like springs, their minds focused on one singular thought: destruction.

“Hit ‘em so hard they regret even signing up for football,” Ares muttered.

“Hit ‘em so hard they gotta change their team name,” Hercules added.

The whistle blew. The twins exploded forward.

BOOM!

The first set of dummies barely slowed them down. Pads cracked, stuffing flew, and the twins bulldozed through the line like runaway trains. Ares reached the quarterback dummy first, lifting it off the ground and slamming it down so hard the plastic helmet popped off. Hercules, arriving a millisecond later, belly-flopped onto the dummy for good measure.

Coach whistled again, shaking his head in disbelief. “Twins, that was supposed to be a technique drill.”

Ares stood up, flexing. “Coach, my technique is violence.”

Hercules flexing as well. “My technique is win.”

Coach sighed. “Fine. Again.”

And so, they did it again. And again. Each time, the tackling dummies suffered. The twins’ confidence grew. Their minds? Not so much.

As the sun set over the Golden Army stadium, Ares and Hercules stood on the 50-yard line, hands on their hips, panting.

Hercules smirked. “Bro, if we hit like that in the Super Bowl, the Emerald Titans ain’t making it to halftime.”

Ares grinned. “Bro, if we hit like that in the Super Bowl, they ain’t making it outta the first play.”

They bumped chests so hard after their twinbro handshake, a nearby bench tipped over. The Golden Army was ready.

I would like all Americans (and everyone else) who are excited for the Superbowl to know: Before the actual Superbowl there's a live tournament on TV, here in Germany, called "American Ice Football".

It is exactly what it sounds like: American Football but played on Ice, in shoes with entirely smooth soles.

It's a tournament with 4 teams and they are called Eastside Ossis, Westside Wessis, Northcoast Naughties and Southside Smoothies and it's just hilariously entertaining.

I'm not a football fan but I'm gonna go watch the super bowl with my brother and his friends and some other people I guess (it's like a party methinks). But anyways, I'm going because I need to socialize and I also had nothing better to do. hey could like talk about the super bowl commercials this year cause....what the fuck.

First of all and most importantly the pro-isreal commercial that aired while Isreal BOMBED Rafah. I'm gonna say this again real clearly ISREAL. BOMBED. RAFAH. The one place that Palestinians were promised safety but then were told to evacuate even though it was virtually impossible to do so. Don't stay silent about that when complaining about the game this year. I don't care who won, innocent people, families, CHILDREN are being murdered. Stay aware, the only reason we don't know what's happening is because they are murdering the journalists. Learn their names, stay informed.

Now on a lighter (still annoying) note. Why did temu have the money to air their commercial like 7 times. Like no normal dropship company should have those funds. Also disney making a commercial purely off of quotes after the writers strike is frickin laughable. As well as the commercials didn't feel like superbowl commercials. They kinda lacked the fun whimsy and felt so stiff. There wasn't really many that were notable/earwormy and funny. (puppy monkey baby, that tiny doctor pepper guy, etc) I'd say with the exception of "Michael CeraVe". That one is more subjective though. Everything about the advertising this game just felt so...incorrect. I always watched the commercials when I was younger cause they were funny and I love following how things are publicized so I was disappointed on many ends this year.
