This! Although if you are from a historically vulnerable population it’s likely you have cash hidden all over the house.

But yeah, we build up our stash with $1, $5, $10, $20 here and there as we can spare it (basically any bill is worth tucking away, although we probably have a good $100 in spare change in jars, too).

This is a very effective method of saving money as well, if you’re someone who struggles with keeping what feels like imaginary money in a bank account (me).

Incorrect, the fact that Biden has dropped out and a candidate with history of supporting medicare for all and being more receptive to a ceasefire in the I/P conflict has made me go from "I cannot morally support the Democratic nominee" to "I am voting for the Democratic nominee despite the fact she isn't perfect in every respect." I'm really happy this played out. The Dems for the most part abandoned the old Obama platform and it feels like its possible an actual progressive agenda could come to pass in my lifetime.
