Americans! Do you have instant hot water? Like, do you get hot water a few seconds after turning the shower/faucet on, without having to do anything before (running the water to heat it up with electricity/turning the immersion on/whatever you call it)

Edit: I should probably clarify that I don't mean 'do you turn on the tap and there's already hot water' I mean 'can you impulsively take a shower without having to wait 15+ minutes for your house to heat water up'

All I know is I’m American and can’t have much milk without extreme discomfort and pain. I’ve never been formally tested for lactose intolerance, but it’s a high possibility considering the fact I have most, if not all, the symptoms.

All I know is I had no problem eating anything I wanted in Europe. I had so many lattes and felt nothing. I’m blaming the pasteurization process. Sure, the milk lasts longer… but at what cost?

The Wars of Arran/Guerres d'Arran, an interesting fantasy comics' series published in France and drawed by different european authors.

Part of the fantasy world of Aquilon, is a good fusion among Epic Fantasy as Tolkien, Sword & Sorcery as Howard and Moorcock and Low Fantasy as G. R. R. Martin, were the protagonists are the non human people as elves, ogres and goblins and dwarves, here minoroties or Native people with their problem between them and the human race, the new people and Master of Aquilon. So we can see discriminations, persecutions and genocides against minoroties, so who want to make some comparisons can do It. But please, no hate.

Ah yes, the covers' tomes (yes, this is how the volumes are called) about elves are in italian. Sadly I didn't find the french covers with the titles. And for Who is interested: yes, the name of one of our comic book publishing houses is Panini, literally "Sandwiches". Well, I don't accept lessons by countries when their most famous comic book publishing house is called "Dark Horse".

Anyway, there is an interesting spinoff set in the Aquilon version of Africa, Terres d'Ogon/Lands of Ogon. For all people Who want a Fantasy that isn't set in Europe or in Far Asia (because I didn't Say that there are some Middle Eastern-like countries in Aquilon). If somebody is interested and It's bored with all the useless and tokenist fake fantasy made in Netflix, or they wanted a more mature and not inspired by D&D version of Legend of Vox Machina.

Last night my boyfriend and I were talking about children and pregnancy while I was looking at my period app and I realised something. My cycle is normally 34 days, it is actually very often even longer, going to even 40 days sometimes. That is what's normal for me, so if my period was late I wouldn't even think of taking a pregnancy test until day 45ish. If the test came back positive, because of how pregnancy is measured, I would already be 6 weeks pregnant and it would be illegal for me to have an abortion in 20 USA states.
