Lezet - "Zisen" is out on THE CHURCH OF NOISY GOAT (Brazil)!!!!

15 years after the "Zisen" track was featured on the V.A.-"Falter" compilation (Time Theory, USA), my buddy Ken (Dj Odraz) sent me a 72-minute version of the track which I then only slightly played with and made into an album.

My latest release "The Autumnal City" is now available on all streaming services.

Take a walk with me through the dystopian city of Bellona. Gaze up at the perpetually smoke-filled sky. Watch as it clears and reveals two crescent moons and sun too big to be ours.

Is this even real? Can you remember your name? How did we get here?

This 10 minute ambient-drone track is inspired by Samuel R Delany's novel, Dhalgren. It was composed back in May 2021 for Rum Fixion Records' "Ten Minutes of Death" competition. It was never released, so I've taken the opportunity to remix the track and get it out there for you all to enjoy.

Nicolie Binara's new piece "Fremen" is a profound journey of ambient drone music inspired by Frank Herbert's grand science fiction novel "Dune."

This music paints the life of the Fremen, a fictional people from the desert planet of Arrakis in the universe of dunes, with textures of sound. They live in harmony with the sand, holding their breath and surviving together. Through this work, listeners can feel the footsteps of the Fremen parting the sand, and the breath of life within them.

This music is not merely for listening but is an experience akin to deep meditation. The sound of footsteps on the sand, whispers carried by the wind, and the silence of the vast desert invite the listener into the desolate landscape of Arrakis. Nicolie Binara masterfully captures the spirit of the Fremen as desert beings through the ripples of sound, allowing the listener to feel their presence.

"Fremen" is a work that explores the harshness and beauty of the desert through music, transporting the listener from a physical location to a spiritual journey. Nicolie Binara's piece probes the profound universe of "Dune" in an entirely new way, expressing its mysteries through the form of music.
