Kill it with fire
*How the characters respond to you seeing the biggest spider of your life and telling them to get rid of it. (I have some characters in multiple times because i could see them as either/or)*
Cw: Spiders in case u couldn't tell
He's got this. Outwardly, he looks confident, and your nerves are soothed as he tells you he'll deal with it. Goes in for the kill, but the sickening crunch has him feeling queasy for a while. Scrunched up nose if he looks too close while he's cleaning it up, but ultimately considers it a win when you kiss his cheek and call him your hero.
Hiragi, Suo, Tsugeura, Enomoto
Thinks he's got this, but once the bastard starts skittering towards him, he's running with you(or without you) in his arms into the other room.
Togame, Kaji, Sakura, Sugishita, Endo
Picks it up in a cup and just throws it outside. Maybe even picks it up bare handed. Not bothered in the slightest, which has you more concerned than the spider did. Please go wash your hands.
Chika, Choji(barehanded >_>), Umemiya
Screams with you. That's the spider's house now. Actually might call someone else to help with it because it's gotta be radioactive to be that size.
Nirei, Kanuma, Kusumi, Kiryu
It's a team effort between the two of you. You're both poised and ready to strike, one with a can of bug spray and one with a broom/shoe/heavy book as a weapon in case the spray doesn't slay the beast. If anything, it's a bonding experience, despite the panicked yelling during the attack and disposal.
Togame, Kiryu, Sakura, Kaji
It's a no mercy killing. There is no regret or upset; this monster simply ceases to exist in a matter of seconds. Kinda hot ngl.
Tsubaki, Kotoha, Sako, Suzuri, Chika, Suo

Character ask : Anya Chichi
Anya Forger
First impression: Oh she looks cute. Hope she doesn't turn into a plot device. Impression now: My adorable chaotic gremlin who has more agency and control in the story than her spy and assassin parents <3 Favorite moment: I think I'll choose the moment where she rescues the drowning boy in episode 11. She's kind and selfless enough to risk her life to save him, and she didn't even hesitate to jump into the pool like how brave is that kid! And since she didn't want to expose her secret she took it all upon her to act and save him herself. Idea for a story: I think it'll be wasted potential if we never learn about the scientists who created her and their motives, so I think a story of her being taken by them will be interesting, albeit sad, until at least her parents come and kick ass to save her. Unpopular opinion: I don't ship Damιanya and that seems to be quite the unpopular opinion in this fandom... Even if they're aged up and Damian actually treats her decently, I still don't think they'd make an interesting couple. Favorite relationship: Anya with Papa and Mama. Don't make me choose! Favorite headcanon: I genuinely wonder if Endo is ever gonna explain why she has those little hats on her head, and I think it would be hilarious for them to be just hair clips that she wears literally 24/7. So my headcanon for that is that Anya is just stylish!
Loid Forger
First impression: LOL that's a way to break up with your girlfriend. Is he just gonna be one of those boring protagonists whose only character traits is past trauma and being OP? Impression now: If anyone hurts him I will commit several felonies. But please hurt him I want the whump :3 Favorite moment: Bench scene after Yor kicks the living daylights out of him. The vulnerable moment of him remembering his mother and opening up to Yor about that because we know it's real and not for the mission is unparalleled. Chef's kiss. Idea for a story: Okay okay hear me out. We know that he's a very disciplined spy so if he's ever caught he has to be caught in the act. Mere evidence won't do because he'll deny any involvement to hell and back and be pretty convincing about it. So he has to be caught red-handed. And an idea for that is, he's disguised himself as Yuri because for Reasons he has to infiltrate the SSS offices, but then for some reason the actual Yuri appears there too. "Yuri" and Yuri fight, and an incompetent officer finds them, aiming his gun at them. Twilight is silent, but Yuri tries to convince the guy that's he's the real Yuri and he should shoot the fake one. The guy says that "Only a spy would act like that" and shoots. While that happens, within a split second Twilight thinks "I have to let him die. I have to get out of here. I have to let him die." But he just cannot do that because he knows how much it would devastate Yor to lose her brother... so he pushes him out of the way and takes the bullet instead. Maybe not anywhere too dangerous, like his arm or something. But it's enough to slow him down as he tries to escape, and he's finally caught while still wearing a mask with Yuri's face. You can imagine Yuri's shock and horror when he realizes it's "Loi-Loi", who is a spy and tried to infiltrate the offices and also saved his fucking life. Because as many lies as he's said, Yuri has absolute proof that this man really does love his sister. I want this to happen so much you have no idea. Unpopular opinion: I've yet to read the manga and anything that explores his backstory but I think it's easy to think he'd abandon his spy work after he realizes he loves his family and wants to spend his life with them. Which yeah it's what we want for him but I think his desire for peace tops even his love for his family. He'd rather break his own heart along with theirs and leave if it means he can keep working as a spy and protect the fragile peace. Which is why I feel that the story cannot end without Ostania's government falling, and the new, more democratic government either signing a secure peace treaty with Westalis or uniting under one nation. Favorite relationship: Loid and Anya. Look I love twiyor as much as the next shipper but the father/daughter feelz was one of the things that hooked me into the show so it's the one I want more of. Favorite headcanon: I once read a post talking about how people from Westalis may have a different accent than people from Ostania, and now I cannot get that idea out of my mind. I think it would be interesting to see Twilight suddenly drop all pretenses and start speaking with the accent he grew up using, allowing himself to connect with that old part of himself he kept hidden. I doubt they'd do that in the anime (and since I watch the Japanese version I don't think I'd notice the difference) but it's still a very interesting headcanon.
(no manga spoilers please 😁)

Who is Vanny ?
GREAT QUESTION! Vanny is both super interesting and we have so LITTLE TO WORK WITH
Okay so Vanessa/Vanny is kind of an interesting situation it's highly implied that she's the same tape girl you hear in Help Wanted and she "explains" how you can defeat glitchtrap but instead leads the player astray and glitchtrap supossedly locks you, or perhaps part of your mind behind that door, and gives the player a totem of himself, that little green glitchy springbonnie. supposedly do to with being able to communicate with him? In order to get some secret dialog you needed to wear the bunny mask from dreadbear and also hold the glitchtrap plush. while this came back in security breach it was just kind of touched upon in the princess quest mini game and wasn't really explored. It's the player reliving her actions so, it's curious. So, Vanessa in her previous job, in help wanted, she's doing the game development and testing. One of her co-workers actually met a pretty gnarly fate, driven mad by glitchtraps possibly first attempt at possessing someone. Jeremy, cut off his own face with a paper gillotine and went straight back to playing. Vanessa desribes it as "a halloween mask" and "spilt ink that covered the front of Jeremys tshirt" but he turned to face her before she toddled off to work so he was presumably still alive at that time before he bled out! it's really interesting to me that it might of been Glitchtrap already possessing him, or in an effort to save what was left of himself he killed himself with what was available to him because he knew glitchtraps intentions. When Jeremys duties fell to her she presumably caught on to what Jeremy saw and tried do delete glitchtrap to no avail, presumably It's generally agreed upon somewhere along the way she switched tactics from glitchtrap being attatched to her voice files and trying to sequester them so only beta testers would think to poke around in there, to straight claiming to being able to kill him but leading you to the endings where you merge with him. So she's either thought she could kill him in this act of desperation, tried it and got possessed or Glitchtrap intentionally made her explain something that leads to the players possession!
it's later shown in FNAF AR that Vanessa (now being nicknamed ness) is still working and this might overlap with the events or it's shortly after help wanted, Vanessa, or atleast Glitchtrap controling vanessa is triggering the flagging system because she's searching for disturbing things that could be gently explained away or atleast is by Luis from the IT team. not too too much is happening it's just glitchtrap either in her body or in the system on her account looking up alot of stuff. especially things like, torture! which maybe agony or remnant factors into it? agony is a book only concept that i'm not overtly familliar with. Remnant extraction though is one side, perhaps wanting to know how exactly objects get possessed he's seeking to understand more. who knows!
Somewhere along the way Vanessa gets a position at the security team dispite a lack of experiance, if i remember right internal messages in SB describe her interest in the position as odd. but eventually she's basically one of the few humans on the nightshift, or one of the few humans that works there period, fazcorp having pushed to replace majority of human staff with STAFF bots presumably to cut costs, and possibly even straight murdering a whole portion of the staff! since the staff meeting "party" looks like it's been trashed, in the place where endo's rome around. it Also gives Vanessa a whole lot of free range to do what the hell she likes, including somewhere along the way killing atleast 9 kids! You know we don't actually know much about what she was doing with Glitchtrap? which is one of the major failings of Security breach, Burntrap was just down in the basement, she even had her own set up there with a bed! we're just left to think that she's been wringing out these kids to, feed him maybe? continue his legacy? Vanny is supposedly hacking into these bots and taking control of the pizza plex to, possibly rebuild burntrap? who knows if it's a design feature or not but i do find it an interesting aspect that burntrap might possibly be a bit of a ship of theasus in that he has aspects like nightmare claws that he wouldn't previously have, casing that doesn't belong to him. I'm kind of a fan of the idea he was going to "take over" Glamrock bonnie before things went astray somehow. people love the theroy that bonnie fought back, it's implied that all of the bots were under some kind of programming that brought them down to the basement! they all may have participated in those murders! and, vanny just kind of peters out a little? she appears now and then in the game but she isn't much of an actual threat. Vanessa doesn't do much either, there are nixed onesided conversations that i love, and she has some absolutely unhinged unused animations, she could of been a fantastic stalker character thoughout the game but they couldn't get her working.
it's more than likely that Vanny in SB as it is doesn't have much agency over her actions given what we're shown, while previously she was the reluctant follower who seeminly went along with things convincing herself it'll be "fun" supposedly not yet having killed, she's graduated to full mind domination were she doesn't have much agency over her actions and supposedly it's more william afton in Vanessas body than Vanessa having a secondary persona in Vanny i don't really know how to feel about it honest, i like her being reluctant but still getting dragged further inwards into this horrible plan even though i haven't an idea what glitchtrap wants to do other than be inside of other people. I can deal with a partial posession deal of Glitchtrap borrowing her body i would just like it to be more, developed! There is also this element that i partially like to incorperate that is more tangential but because Vanessa is searching all of these disturbing terms, she gets sent to corperate therapy and i'm still a beliver that it's all Vanessa, i don't know how the idea that it's both vanessa and gregory alternating and gregory is a kid hacker holds up and what is were, there might be book lore there i don't know. But the therapy discs state that Vanessa had participated in a divorce court case where she was coached by her dad to testify against her mother, and this was rather traumatic for her, she's consistantly shown as more, shrinking and soft spoken in these tapes that she wants to be a good girl. "I can't talk about this. He said he would always be watching. He could be here or there or anywhere in between" in cd 11, and the therapist is connecting it to her father when we can glean it's really about glitchtrap, and Vanessa explains that she's "compartmentalized him. He's locked away." like she's trying her best to manage and damp down him for Glitchtrap to only leak out in ways she doesn't understand. She's making her bunny costume in that same tape. I personally like to say that glitchtrap is actively using his own memories of his messy divorce and possible court proceedings and coaching of elizabeth to testify against her own mother. Vanny being this replacement for elizabeth, a favourite child, his daughter, Baby showed this malicious intent, both wanting to murder william for leaving her and also this, strange idolization of her father. Maybe william desires that back? hard to say. i like a father daughter dynamic between them in any case! Anyway, vanessas therapists keep on dying. like she burns though five of them and they keep getting mangled. I'm of the opinion that the tapes that we don't hear vanessas voice may be her possessed. the very last tape may even have her murdering her therapist there and then after she's confronted that the therapist had found out that she lived a relatively normal life and her parents are still together because william doesn't want his programming breaking. All in all, i love vanessa/vanny, she's seriously fantastic but she's also SO underused that the broadness of her character in SB is really unfortunate.
Also it's kind of weird that in the PQ ending or the burntrap ending where she's released from glitchtrap she's kind of, instantly forgiven in the narritive, you did some shit girl go to jail

Gregory is an endoskeleton inside a human body + Bonnie is Gregory
There are two parts to this theory. First is the existence of an endoskeleton trained to become Crying Child, and that Gregory is that endoskeleton inside a human boy’s corpse. The second part is that the same endoskeleton used to be Bonnie before Montgomery Gator destroyed him.
I’ll start with the endo part and end with the possible Bonnie addition.
The endoskeletons in Security Breach grow up like children. Rather than being programmed to behave a certain way, they’re taught in a warehouse that resembles a preschool. Endo education is also displayed in a Help Wanted 2 mini game.
Two rooms in the Pizzaplex are explained by this theory. One is the room with all the papers that seem to be written by a robot gaining sentience + the staff bots dressed to look like the Afton family. An endo who is being trained to become Crying Child would have been taught a room just like this.
The other room is the replica of Michael Afton’s room from fnaf Sister Location. (Which seems to be the Afton’s living room, where all of the Afton children grew up?) Another place where an endo could learn to be Crying Child. The code from the wall in that room:
"Break and mend, I built the breath. They hunt now, drawn to life. Not Real, still keen. And Frit and Fraught with thought and zest and gest no blunt woes. Dodge, duck, flash, shoot, crawl, run, crush the vile band. Cry not, try not, do not hold out, hope no. Your life, your aim will save those with soul.”
I believe this message is from David, the remaining good part of the Storyteller/mimic, since it's written in his and Edwin's secret language. The message is for Gregory and could be interpreted as telling him to not hold out hope for himself, but his life can be worth something if he aims to save those with soul.
The final Tales from the Pizzaplex book features a story where an endoskeleton climbs inside a human, in addition to the ongoing epilogue, where the mimic endo has done the same thing. This also happens in Sister Location when Michael is scooped and filled with Ennard. Personally, I think this is emphasized so frequently because they're trying to remind people that a robot stuffed inside a human body is just as possible as a human body stuffed into a robot in the fnaf canon.
Some evidence indicates that Gregory could be a robot, like his vision glitching around Vanny and Freddy’s ‘you look different to me’ line after he gets Roxy's eyes. This works just as well as evidence toward endo Gregory theory. Mechanical eyes and brain explain the glitching vision, and Freddy sees that Gregory’s skeleton looks strange with X-ray vision, more like an Endo than a human skeleton.
Another strange room explained by mimic Endo Gregory: the scooper room in the Ruin ending.
I was pretty confused about that ending. Why is the scooper there, and why is it shown to us? Does scooping the mimic out of its costume seem like the most logical way to decommission it? It's so random.
But if someone (the Storyteller/Helpi/Afton version of the Mimic who is wired through the Pizzaplex) was training endos to be the Afton children, to put the family back together, and kidnapping children to put the endos into, the scooper room would be required. Just like Michael was scooped to make room for Ennard, kidnapped children would be brought down to that scooper room to insert the endos.
Does Gregory know that he's an endoskeleton inside a human boy’s body, or does he believe himself to actually BE Crying Child? It's possible that he’s forgotten his prior life as an endo, and here's why:
Freddy has an existential crisis over the endo room. There are voice lines where he says this must be where he was born, and that he's not allowed to come down here. It seems like he doesn't remember his time in training as an endoskeleton.
Which means that memory is severed when an Endo is assigned a costume. The training remains, layered beneath the persona of the character.
(I'd also like to pitch that Freddy’s endo may have been in training to be Michael Afton, just as Gregory was trained to be Crying Child. Which is why Freddy seems to recognize Gregory and desires to protect him.)
There is a deleted voice line where Freddy finally recognizes Gregory and remembers where he saw him before, but gets cut off. Does his Endo remember Gregory’s Endo, having ‘grown up’ together? Does his Michael trained endo recognise Gregory’s CC trained endo? I'm not sure, but there are lots of interesting possibilities.
There's a deleted Vanessa voiceline. “I understand. I'll do just as you ask. And yes, I've already selected one.” It's possible that the ‘one’ she has picked out is the child that would be scooped to make room for Endo Gregory.
There are 2 mimics that we know of. Most of this info comes from the Tales from the Pizzaplex books.
Mimic 1: Limb ripper in the basement
Mimic 2: Storyteller/Helpi/Glitchtrap, who runs all through the Pizzaplex and is infected with the Afton code.
I believe that mimic 2 created an endoskeleton and trained it to become Crying Child in an attempt to put the family back together. It influenced Vanessa to seek out and kidnap children (for testing? Testing the scooping, endo insertion and body preservation process?) She eventually kidnaps Gregory, chosen for his resemblance to Crying Child, who is then scooped and filled with the Crying Child endo.
Possibly, like all endos, its memory is severed, so Gregory doesn't know he's an endoskeleton shoved inside a child's corpse. All he knows is from his training: that he is Crying Child, and that he must do whatever his creator, Mimic 2, asks him to.
This is why Vanessa ‘coincidentally’ has all the same therapists as Gregory. They're both under the influence of the same entity, mimic 2/Glitchtrap, who has them look out for each other. When therapists get too close to the truth, Gregory is tasked to lure them to the Pizzaplex to be killed.
Something happens before the events of Security Breach. Maybe Gregory finds out what he is and how he was created. Maybe he just gets tired of killing people for mimic 2, and wants to run away from home. Either way, he now wants to escape from the Pizzaplex and Mimic 2.
During Security Breach, he does the Princess Quest and frees Vanessa from Glitchtrap/mimic 2’s mind control. They help each other escape the Pizzaplex and Vanessa becomes his guardian in the outside world.
Cassie gets lured to the Pizzaplex by the teamwork of mimic 1 and mimic 2. During the elevator ending, when Gregory drops her down the elevator shaft, he does it because he's afraid the mimic will follow her. At first I thought he was talking about mimic 1, which is silly because limb ripper would still have no way out of the basement, even if Cassie escaped.
Now I realize he was talking about mimic 2, who has infected her Vanny mask and probably her brain through the neural implant. Gregory can't risk Mimic 2 coming after him and dragging him back into the family. He may have been created for the purpose of being Crying Child, but he’s desperate to escape that destiny. He’s willing to sacrifice Cassie to keep his newfound freedom.
Now for the optional Bonnie part of the theory.
There are several pieces of evidence pointing towards Bonnie working with mimic 2/Glitchtrap. The tunnel hidden under a poster in Bonnie's dressing room leads to Vanny’s lair. (A tunnel that's not large enough for Bonnie to fit through, but an endoskeleton that can resize to fit any suit would.) In Ruin, when you use the mask to deactivate wet floor bots, putting the souls of the kidnapped children to rest (children who, I believe, were killed in scooper experiments leading up to Gregory), the lights in Bonnie's eyes go out, as though he's bound to these souls.
A therapist calls out Vanessa for meeting with a strange person. ‘What are those? Rabbit ears?’ the therapist says, seeing the figure on video. I believe that was Bonnie meeting with Vanessa. Gregory later goes on to use the alias ‘doc rabbit’ in GGY, but we never see him in a rabbit costume or suit. I believe this is a reference to his past existence as Bonnie.
My theory is that the endoskeleton, who was being trained to eventually become CC, was originally put into Bonnie. Bonnie and Vanessa worked together to kidnap children, testing and hunting for the CC endo’s final body. Somehow Monty found out about the kidnappings. He confronted Bonnie and attacked him. The CC endo slithered out of Bonnie's ruined shell, living secretly in the Pizzaplex until the Gregory body is obtained.
This solves a major Bonnie mystery. Why didn't the company just repair his endo and put it in a new suit? It would be easier than decommissioning the character and rebranding all of Bonnie's products. But we’ve seen that each endo grows up like a child, organically learning. If Bonnie’s endoskeleton was missing, having slithered away to save itself, there's no quick fix for that. The company is forced to take Bonnie out of the character roster, at least until another endo can be trained to take his place.
This is another possible point of recognition between Freddy and Gregory. When Freddy finally recognizes Gregory in the deleted voice line, it could be him recognizing his old friend Bonnie. This would also explain why Freddy immediately feels connected to Gregory and considers him his ‘superstar’.
Final part requires a bit of explanation. I believe CC’s real name is Jeremy. This is based on the name Jeremy recurring so frequently in the franchise + in Help Wanted 2, where you play as Bonnie bro, when everyone urges you to remember the past and what happened back in the old diner, it's always ‘Remember Jeremy’. This makes me think they want you to remember the boy who got chomped, a boy named Jeremy Afton.
Another fnaf Jeremy was the boy who was murdered by William Afton and shoved inside of Bonnie.
I believe this is a deliberate connection. Though CC Jeremy and Bonnie ghost Jeremy are two different kids, I think them having the same name is an intentional choice, symbolizing how Glamrock Bonnie and Gregory would eventually contain the same endoskeleton, the endo trained to be the new CC Jeremy Afton.
A few random notes:
I believe that Gregory was living in the Pizzaplex’s secret rooms, first as an endoskeleton in training, possibly as Bonnie, and eventually as Gregory once he was given a human body. Any evidence to the contrary, such as the therapist saying ‘why did you lie? I looked into it, and you have a normal, happy family’ is just meddling from mimic 2, feeding people false information from phony authority. (Which we know mimic 2 is capable of, since a memo states that Vanessa got her position due to orders from higher ups, in spite of her having no security experience.)
EDIT: Someone pointed out that Gregory has a home and a family in GGY. Makes me wonder if, after being endo'd, Gregory was sent home to his body's family? He could have lived the boy's life and masqueraded as him while still serving mimic 1/Afton. Especially easy to get away with if he has emotionally distant parents. It's also implied that he changed to this school recently, which would help his changed behavior go unnoticed.
I'm unsure if Cassie was friends with the human boy Gregory, or if she only met him after he was implanted with the CC endo.
Most likely, Cassie never met the human Gregory. I believe that freshly implanted endo Gregory met a sad girl in the Pizzaplex and befriended her. I don't think we’ve ever met the ‘real’ Gregory either, since this theory hinges on Gregory being an endoskeleton inside a child’s corpse for the events of Security Breach.
What differentiates this from Robot Gregory theory?
The presence and emphasis on the scooper room in the old diner.
Vanessa is the only mimic 2 servant that we know of. Vanessa probably couldn't build a perfect humanoid robot, but she is capable of kidnapping human children and bringing them down to the old diner to be scooped. (Especially if she had Bonnie’s help.) The endo only has to be trained properly, as the models originating from the mimic are made to fit any costume or body and imitate behaviors they're taught.
FNAF canon's excessive amount of world building regarding endoskeleton training and endoskeletons slithering into human bodies. We see the Endo training facility and Afton related rooms in during Security Breach, and play an endo training mini game in Help Wanted 2. In the books, we see the original mimic endo copying a child’s actions and taking on his personality. Over and over, the books also show us endos inserting themselves into humans, both in B7-2 where Billy’s extracted endo enters his grandmother, and in the epilogues, where the limb ripper mimic crawls into Kelly.
I would love to hear feedback on this theory. Thank you for reading!

𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝟎𝟎𝟓: 𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐤𝐮
"...Am I dreaming?"
𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨
Name: Endo Haku / 遠藤 白 (The kanjis of his last name mean "distant" and "wisteria", and his first name means "white".)
Status: Prisoner 005
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Birthday: September 14 (Virgo)
Height: 175 cm
Blood type: A
Image color: #ADD8E6
Occupation: High school student
Personality: Haku is pragmatic and logical, often able to keep a cool-head under pressure and resolve issues efficiently. This traits of his has earned him the reputation of being a neutral third party for disputes at Milgram. That doesn't mean he's a judge per say. The other prisoners just ask for his opinion and it somehow resolves the argument most of the time. How miraculous.
He's also reserved and introverted, so he prefers to keep to himself. He won't start conversations, but has no problem talking to someone if they approach him. They'll be able to witness a more talkative side to him if they manage to bring up a topic he's passionate about.
Compared to the other prisoners in high school, he could be considered disciplined and well-behaved. He helps out with the chores and has proper manners that endear him to most of the older prisoners. Seems he's just naturally popular.
𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨
Which canon Milgram song he would cover: HARROW (How heavy “HARROW” “HARROW”; If it damaged someone’s dream to the points of stopping it) (He's not as aggressive as Kotoko of course. It's just that certain lines in this song suit the mood of his crime. I think he'd end up singing it like Es would tho: lifelessly. 💀)
Which DECO*27 song he would cover: Haru Ichi
If he could cover a song by a different Vocaloid producer, which one would it be: Servant of evil by Akuno-P (Reveals a LOT about him oof)
His MV description: His MV mostly takes place in an auditorium. The colours that appear are bright and pastel, no deep colours are present. A piano and violin duet makes up most of the melody.
The MV starts with Haku doing a ballet routine with another boy. They share the same shade of black hair, but the other's is shorter. Haku's costume is white, whilst the other wears black.
An audience watch in adoration and awe as the pair continue to dance on stage. Their stares start to make Haku feel nervous. His dance partner smiles and tugs him into doing an impromptu tango routine. Haku is so shocked, he snaps out of his anxiety.
Haku smiles too after a while, enjoying the freestyle dance. But the audience starts to frown and whisper to each other, unhappy with the sudden change of routine. Haku slows down for a moment to look at them, his worry returning tenfold.
The stage gives out under him and his partner, as if a sinkhole had suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Haku finds himself falling with the other holding tightly onto his arm.
As they continue falling into a dark void, Haku looks down to see his partner laughing almost thrillingly. He smiles fondly and presses a kiss to the other's head. The MV ends.
𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬
-- 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬
(Neutral) My name is Endo Haku. I'm 17 years old this year and a high school student. So I'll be judged INNOCENT or GUILTY based on your morals and values? I hardly think that's fair. (Annoyed)
(Comforting) T*er*, th**e. H* c*n't h**t y*u a*ym**e.
-- 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫
He really has been causing so much trouble, huh?
𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐚
His favourite colour is...you guessed it! White.
His favourite food is nikuman (Japanese steamed pork buns).
He likes to watch science documentaries in his free time.
He attends a prestigious music school and can play the piano.
𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬
I cannot draw. So picrew saves the day once again!
I don't like how his picture is a little blurry, but I can't imagine him in any other way so I guess I'll keep the picture as it is.

Security breach Chapter 10: Meeting with the one who revived animatronics.
(Note: Gender Puppet are the same trouble. I will state that you can use it both male and female)
Meanwhile, with Alina.
Alina was lying in the children's security room. She immediately gets up and sees that she is here.
Alina: So I ended up here, where the evil endoskeletons are.
After walking a few steps, she saw a familiar white box with a red ribbon. She went over to him to check by touch. Suddenly, the lid of the box begins to rise slowly, while a thin black figure with a white mask comes out of it. His face had black eyes without pupils, blue painted stripes under them like tears and red lipstick on his lips. He looked at Alina with a smile, who was surprised and knew who it was, while the eyes have white pupils.
Alina: Puppet...
Puppet: Yes. It's me. The one who revived your animatronics friends.
Alina: Yes, I know that too. I immediately realized what really happened to them that made them move to Highland Isle. If...
Puppet: I know about it. I know how the others got rid of William, who is already a Berntrap. I had to keep an eye on them as they managed. But I knew that wasn't the case. William has the power to hack animatronics and control humans. You didn't get it because you are protected by the force.
Alina: Not happening. But we need to stop him. Freddy from the fact that I wanted to tell the whole truth is definitely not in himself to save us.
Puppet: That's right. I heard you when you saved the world from animals by hearing from people. *Sigh*How many months have I been living here, remembering that I was once a girl. Charlotte Family is the daughter of Henry Emily, who himself created Freddy and his friends. As you know, she was killed by the monster William himself and I will have to take revenge on him someday. After the death of the rest of the people, I revived your friends. But also the only person when I gave him a new life. His soul belonged to the Fredbear which is still broken in the very first pizzeria.
Alina: What's his name?
Puppet: Gregory.
Alina: What? After the death of the crying boy, the soul was in Fredbear, and now he is in Gregory. But how?
Puppet: He was once completely without a living soul, I decided to give him a chance and warned him that sooner or later he would see who wanted to kill an innocent. He did just that. Okay, (Coming out of the box) it's time for us to act to save everyone.
Alina: Yes, but I think it's better to hide you. Even though you have magic, someone can kill you.
Puppet: You're right, I need a disguise.
Alina looked in different directions and saw a plush toy in the form of a Fredbear, and took it.
Alina: Will that do?
Meanwhile, with ponies.
The ponies entered the underground place while Sparkle horn was sanctifying around.
Sparkle: So guys, if you see anything suspicious, tell me. The main thing is that we must stick together.
Rainbow Dash: Are you sure they're here?
Sparkle: Who knows? But in any case, they could hide where they couldn't find except us.
Suddenly, Apple Jack felt that someone was watching them while the endoskeleton was watching them.
Apple Jack: I feel like we're being watched.
Tricky: And who could it be?
Sparkle: I agree. Bearing in mind that endoskeletons are meant to live here. They cannot be alive until they are made like ours.
Spike: And how did you find out?
The ponies saw a wall in front of them with an image of an endoskeleton greeting children.
Fluttershy: Cute.
But when they looked closely, they saw that rabbit ears were painted on the endoskeleton, followed by a purple rabbit.
Rainbow Dash: What does it mean?
Sparkle saw another picture where the endoskeleton pushed the cake off the table, and on top was a cross marked with a purple tick. And another picture where the endoskeleton helps children instead of a purple cross tick.
Sparkle: Someone drew it specifically so that endo would harm children. Possible-
They gasped when they saw the many Endos who were ready to attack. But fortunately Alina is bombed by BombFish.
Ponies: Alina?
Tricky: What are you doing here?
Alina: We had an escape from Moondrop and I happened to be here. But one more good news. (Takes out a plush Fredbear)
Rainbow Dash: A just toy?
When the Puppet came out of the toy, the ponies were scared.
Puppet: Good evening.
Sparkle: Who is this?
Alina: This is Puppet. It was he who revived our animatronics friends when they were children killed by William and the souls got into them.
Ponies: What?!
Pinkie Pie: So animatronics were actually just robots until their souls came to life?
Apple Jack: Were they silent about that too?
Fluttershy: Maybe because William met them again, they got rid of him and immediately moved so that he wouldn't find them?
Puppet:(Nod) Yes, it is in the form of a SpringBonnie already now Berntrap. He's deep underground now.
Alina: If you remember what Mario and Luigi found in the very first pizzeria, they found an ear and a voice from Fredbear who was familiar with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy. He broke down in a moment now. The blood and the rabbit's ear are from William himself. He put on a SpringBonnie and killed himself.
Ponies: So that's it.
Puppet: We need to catch up with the others immediately. But what's better is to help animatronics. They need to fix something and then control will be released.
He/She immediately entered the toy and everyone immediately exited the underground place.
To be continued...

I agree and disagree as well! Just my own opinions I wanna add cuz I love talking about spyxfamily lol.
I am a manga reader above the anime as well. I don’t hate the anime, but the pacing kinda sucks and the manga’s art is just “wow!” sometimes. The faces show way more emotion and the scenes have more impact. It’s also a bit grittier and darker. I had no intention of seeing the movie cuz I knew it was filler, but I ended up seeing it in theatre’s and I’m glad I did. It was a lot of fun!
As far as the story goes, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m here for the spy and assassin shenanigans, the darker themes, government conspiracies, threats of violence and war and how that affects people, etc. So I can get annoyed with too many of the sillier chapters, like the Eden kids or Bond filler. Anya was definitely supposed to be the face of the show tho, she’s cute as hell as she deserves it. Without her, without her being the way she is, the series would be too dark, a story about an emotionless spy manipulating an orphan girl for his mission. So I can appreciate all the lighter parts of the story balanced well with the darker parts.
That being said, I take issues with the repetitive gags. Yor’s blush-o-meter has got to go, I want to see her more comfortable, she’s 27 and married for goodness sakes. And I hate when he reduces her to a clumsy disaster for the sake of the joke. Like at the end of 89, when she is determined to do something nice for Loid and ends up setting his shirt on fire. Yor is my favorite character and she deserves better going forward. I think he could do better about making her clueless without her being stupid. (Don’t get me started on the repetitiveness of Damian’s character and his treatment of Anya) ((or Yuri’s whole deal))
I def agree there’s been a shift from the first initial chapters of the series which is kind of a bummer, because I haven’t been so excited for a story in a long time! SxF has so much potential and I want it to deliver. I agree with what countrymint said, sometimes it seems like Endo skips over the big emotional punch he’s trying to deliver and I can’t figure out if that is his intention or if he’s saving it for later or what.
And yeah, disagree about 103. Endo said himself on twitter he was excited to see the Forgers again after the dark war backstory, I think he likes that balance as well. And I appreciated that the chapter wasn’t all that silly and full of gags! Yor didn’t blush once around her husband! She even teased him! Anya was both adorable and bratty, acting like a kid, which is how it should be, and we even saw Twilight genuinely listening to Yor and trying to relax for just a second. It was super cute and didn’t feel repetitive. Bella the seal might even come back in some way if Wise starts to investigate Apple.
Anyway, yeah just my opinions! I’m excited for what’s to come! I think Endo is telling a good story, I can only hope he’s happy with how it’s going.
i really do wonder if endo is satisfied with the sxf. it truly seems like one of those cases of making more serious works and then that one goofy side piece takes off and becomes your legacy even though it vaguely resembles your true artistic identity.
Sxf is obviously a very successful and recognizable franchise, it's iconography goes way past the original manga. but most of the stuff made for the franchise (outside of the manga) are rather generic and uninspired, seems to me more like mass produced merch to try and make the most off of the series. While there is nothing wrong with that I do wonder how he feels about seeing sxf eclipse all his previous works.
I have seen two conflicting narratives on why he created the series in the first place: one being that he wanted to make something that would be successful and public friendly and another claiming he did it because he was depressed and wanted to create something more fun and lighthearted. both of these were secondary sources so i cannot confidently say if either are valid or accurate but they are what i know.
I am personally a huge fan of the manga and i dont really interact with the story outside of that. i really do find the anime far too polished and high definition, genuinely feels like something factor made to be enjoyed by the masses. the manga feels more grounded and earnest. the movie of course, i refuse to finish because it just feels like a cash grab, pretty but pointless. then there's things like the game and alphabet book which feel so childish compared to the very gritty story found in the manga
Of course, there is also Anya who, as much I personally love her, takes up such a strange place. She's a very popular character but mostly as a meme or just a cute thing like hello kitty. it all feels so disjointed from the manga anya, sometimes i feel like it's a whole other version of her. so many people were shocked to find out Twilight was the protagonist and not Anya and it's like yeah... how could you have made that mistake.
there's also the reactions to the most recent arc where it really felt like endo was trying to say something but everyone was just made. the recent chapter felt like a fuck it have your forgers and go. it was cute but again felt disjointed from the rest of the story, not in a filler way but a half assed way.
so i do wonder what endo thinks about the reputation and legacy being created by sxf and if it really is what he wanted.
#spy x family#spy x family manga spoilers#will I ever shut up about this series#I guess if Endo ruins it but I don’t think he will lol#this is one of the few mangas i actually read as well

I just saw your post about how Damian is second place in everything and wow, that's a great finding! In the terms of brains, Demetrius is better. Even when he got his first stella, he's the second best in their grade. Then I saw the post about author who may or may not make an episode where he fall into the darkness. Why does it seem like he got nothing but angst tropes 😭
Yeah I saw the whole "darkness" thing too... it's so sad AAAA
And I think Damian got 11th overall in his grade during midterms? (Or something like that.) He literally BARELY misses out on top 10. I swear it's intentional. It's so painful that he literally gets second in history and that's how he gets his first Stellar. It's been established that he's good at history, even Anya knows, he got 94/100, but he's STILL the second best.
Damian being the second best has always been emphasized. It's literally how Loid views him, how Anya calls him, "Plan B", Loid noting Demetrius' grades were particularly excellent (compared to Damian), Ewen and Emile screaming they're the heirs to their family while "drowning" in that field trip (Damian is not the Desmond heir). Endo is amazing with details and he’s telling us again and again that Damian is the substitute. He’s never the priority. He might be Anya’s priority for Plan B, but that’s literally it, and Anya’s motivations for befriending him are impure.
I guess that's also why Ewen and Emile are such precious friends to Damian. Damian's the leader of their pack, he stands in the middle, and for the first time in his life, he's not the "second best". He IS the best in their trio. Down to the field trip when Ewen and Emile, the heirs, start crying and asking Damian to live on for them and carry out their dreams. They want to pass on their dreams of being the heir to someone who actually won't become the heir because Damian is THAT important to them. And you can tell Damian does treasure his friends a lot. When he writes that short field report, he initially begins with "I", then crosses it out and writes "We saw a lot and did a bunch of stuff".
I think deep down, all Damian wants is attention and validation. He stupidly assumes Anya has a crush on him because he caught her staring at him, and he gets all flustered when she follows him. When Ewen and Emile go "uhh boss, maybe she's following you because...", Damian immediately assumes they think she has a crush on him, but what they really want to say is that Anya is only following him to get close to his dad (again, Damian is just a means to something else, he's never the priority).
... Wait, now I’m thinking about the handkerchief arc in Ch 61. Anya has helped Damian plenty of times, but it’s never really at her own cost? She defended him against George, encouraged him to talk to his father, “helped” him with the paper griffin, but Anya doesn’t lose much. On the other hand, Damian does sacrifice himself for Anya, most famously the dodgeball arc and when he purposefully picked the wrong card so he would lose out the macaron. (When it comes to it, even Damian himself is his own second priority compared to Anya. Geez.) But for the handkerchief, Anya literally gets a bolt to save Damian. When Damian realizes this, he tries to fix it because he is a Good Boy. Note that Damian was hesitant to push others (eg. Ewen) under the bus but ultimately decided he NEEDED to for his father. He would’ve taken Ewen’s handkerchief but it was too late. So in the end, Damian was begrudgingly willing to sacrifice one of his closest friends (but not Anya, apparently) to avoid a bolt. Except when realizing he took Anya’s only handkerchief, he was about to sacrifice HIMSELF so Anya would be safe. Because all in all, it is HIS fault that he didn’t bring a handkerchief.
But Anya surprises him when she stops him from telling the truth. We know this is because Anya heard that they would each get 3 bolts for tricking the teacher, which is worse than either her or Damian getting a single bolt, so Anya made her decision logically. But from Damian’s POV, Anya sacrificed herself for him for No Particular Reason and even got a bolt (when she already has one). And I think that must had left quite the impact on him because like Ewen and Emile, Anya “sacrificed” herself for him. Damian was Anya’s priority even if it cost her.
... Anyways, feeling bad for the Second Son Damian. At least he has a whole panel to himself in the ending, lmao.
This got super long, but I do like some angsty Damian analysis. Thanks for the ask <3

Sun and moon theory
Okay, okay I'm sure someone has figured this out by now and the likelihood that this is wrong is very high but also as an old fnaf fan getting theories proven right and wrong is just par for the course. So let’s get down to what me and my friends have noticed.
This theory all started when a friend of mine mentioned how out of place sundrop and moondrop where compared to the other animatronics, this would be fine if there wasn’t a very obvious way to connect them to the 80’s aesthetic, and over the series a lot of lore heavy characters tended to not match their groups such as the puppet or springtrap. This doesn't have a lot of weight on the theory but I thought it was interesting to note. In one section of the pizzaplex we find a note explaining the missing balloon boy minigame.
‘MAINTENANCE LOG - The BB World game has been acting up. Customers have complained that it starts to glitch over time. I headed to the theater to fix it and now it's gone. I never saw a move request so it should still be there somewhere. I guess I'll check again after the company meeting.’ Now where do we find this arcade game? In a secret room behind sundrops ‘castle’, we can assume this is sundrops room as there are toys placed here like they have been played with. We see children's drawings and pieces from out in the daycare. The balloon boy minigame is through a small tunnel into another room (never a good thing to have) here we find another note and I want you to notice if this sounds like anyone. ‘ They are working together. The arcades. They are hiding something. The glitches. Glitch them all at the same time… then the Princess will recognize me. She’s testing me. I am not yet worthy. The others are protecting it. Let me stay! I am so close! Just one more night, please! I can save the Princess!’
Now I wouldn’t put it past fnaf to put in a completely new character for the game, or maybe this is Vanessa, either one would work and fnaf has been known to throw completely new characters at us. However I can’t help but notice that this message sounds strangely like a certain sun we all know.
We also know that all the animatronics are glitched by Vanessa, and while this is very obvious with moon, sun is less so. I think when Vanessa let out the glitch moon was infected first and sun noticed this and attempted to find some way to reverse it. However he may have just walked into his own demise in his attempt to look for clues.
This arcade game was stolen by him, since there isn’t any move order in the message, and it’s in his room. It’s only A to B to assume he stole the game. How he found out about princess quest or the glitches is still beyond me and I'm trying to scour the game for more information about it.
The balloon boy minigame is riddled with glitchtrap influence, and I think it’s no coincidence that the sun and moon in that game are represented by each daycare attendant respectively. At the end we see an eclipse, the moon overtaking the sun, and the words ‘good night’ in purple. It’s a little creepy to think that in his quest to help his other half sun may have infected himself with the glitch and ended up as we see him in game. I refuse to believe that’s how he usually is, yes as a children's robot they have to be energetic, but also they are an attendant to the children. They have to take care of a child, and in the state both sun and moon are in I doubt either is fit to keep a child safe and happy. That’s the thing as well, it’s a little creepy in my opinion, that the robot with the closest access to very young children may have been the one in direct contact with glitchtrap glitches from a broken machine. Anyway, that's my theory! Or at least part of it, still got to look for more clues and see if anything else adds to this, I’ve got a lot more for the ideas on why there are eyeless staff bots in their room, and the sheer amount of moondrop iconography down in the endo area so I hope you all will stick around for those rambles! (and a final big thanks to @lacking-hydration for they were a huge help in my 4 am brainwave moment as I was putting this together! )

Mission Debrief: Chapter Forty-nine
...It smells like a goddamn come-back!
Okay, jokes about my inevitable return aside, can we all agree that Steve Jobs look-alike is creepy as sin? The discord sever has passed their judgement; the dude’s definitely a freak- kudos to Endo for making the first character I outright despise, I guess? Anyway, after missing out on the last chapter I’m ready to go full steam ahead on this week’s update!
It was a short chapter thankfully and definitely back-loaded, but there’s still plenty to talk about as always. I’m making triple sure to save my draft as I go this time and I’ve got alcohol at the ready, so let’s fricken do this!
I’m not going to talk much about the assassins; they are all bad men and they are all up to bad things, and that’s...pretty much all we got lol. Evil Franky is probably the most interesting of the bunch to me, but even he didn’t do much this chapter. They were glossed over mostly, so instead I wanna focus on my favorite panels.
Poor Loid, honestly. Don’t get me wrong, I’m reveling in all his misery- it’s just that at this point in the story even I have to relent and say I feel bad how stuck in the middle of everything he is. Anya’s manipulating him (hilariously) and he just can’t catch a break, and on top of all that he still has to play dad like the good little spy he is. That face of his will forever be a mood, and I resonate wholly with his done-ness (also just pointing out that Anya is adorable as ever- SHE’S SO LITTLE!)
Okay, Zeb and Olka...I’ll captain this dam ship myself if I have to. Honestly, this whole development we got out of them came out of nowhere, but I’m not complaining at all. I could see how someone might ship them in earlier chapters, courtesy of the old tried and true method of “boy + girl + being in general close proximity = love” that we see all the time, but Zeb coming out and being (mostly) outright with his feelings took my completely by surprise. I wasn’t expecting anything between these two, aside from perhaps a friendship born from being forced to escape with one another. I would have been fine with that, but this takes it to a much more interesting level-
-especially when framed within the context of the war, and it’s after-math. On top of the cute moment we got with Zeb and Olka, we got to learn a bit more about how the world was after the fighting stopped. @tare-chan and I discussed a bit about how criminal organizations such as the mafia have historically offered help in times of hardship, and it’s interesting that this is the route Endo took with things (Shopkeeper’s comments about Olka’s family being an honorable criminal organization certainly make more sense now, at least). We also have confirmation that it’s been roughly a decade since the war ended, something that’s touched on a bit more as McMahon returns to rendezvous with the others.
He’s such an enigmatic character. I want to know more about his past and his relationship with Garden. It’s also very interesting how he frames himself and Yor; they’re soldiers, just like Yuri. Whether it’s for the government or shadow government, they fight and die for the sake of Ostania. He truly believes in his cause, and he wholly expects the same out of Yor.
McMahon is cold and calculated. Yor, meanwhile, is soft and earnest. She is wholly outside her wheelhouse; nothing about this mission is like anything she’s ever done before. Personally, as an outsider looking in, I think she’s doing a fantastic job so far. Not only has she kept multiple assassins at bay while protecting three people, she hasn’t drawn any attention to herself in the process. She’s damn good at what she does, but for McMahon that’s not good enough- or rather, it’s not good enough for the mission. She needs to be perfect. She needs to be cold, calculated, and lethal, just like McMahon. She needs to be ready to die to protect Olka and the baby. She needs to be Thorn Princess...and Yor Forger is in the way of that. McMahon sees that, and he warns her; throw everything away, or it’ll all be taken away. Permanently.
Yor’s not dumb. She’s very self-aware, enough so to re-evaluate herself and her performance as of late. She knows that she’s lost her edge, and it’s all because she’s afraid now. Afraid of getting hurt. Afraid of getting found out. Afraid of losing her family. She’s not an emotionless robot anymore, not like the empty-eyed woman we saw her to be in the initial few chapters. Yor has things she wants to protect, things to fight for. In many situations and stories, one would assume that to be a boon- but here it’s not. Her job involves kill or be killed, and worldly ties will only hold you back. It’s a frame of thought that’s kept her among the living all this time...
...but as I said, Yor’s not dumb. She’s thinking, enough to where she’s starting to question why she’s even risking everything in the first place. What’s in it for her? How does her risking her life day in and day out benefit her? She already has everything she could want; people who care for her, and people who she cares for in return. In that sense, being an assassin is- in actuality- a distraction from what she truly desires...but at the same time, she’s too far in. At least at the moment. No amount of fondness she has for her family will get her out of the situation she’s in right now. So then, what to do?
I’ll go ahead and predict that Olka, being wide-awake as she is, will likely give her another pep-talk. She’s no stranger to difficult choices. Likewise, matters of friends and family, and choosing between them an duty, will likely be subjects she knows a thing or two about. At least I hope, anyway. I want more interaction between them, and I also want Yor to come to a deeper understanding of her current state. Deep down she knows what she wants, but she’s forcing herself to comply with everyone else’s whim. Hopefully sometime soon it’ll coming a point where she stops thinking about what others want out of her, and instead focus on what’s best for her- and by extension, the people she cares about.
Here’s hoping we get at least a peak of that next chapter.
In the meantime, though- BONUS!
I’d like to hang this on my wall and title it, “My constant state of mind”

hell yeah! id also like to clarify i also love debate i think this is fun
1. why would gregory be in the plex for the mimic to mimic?
ggy makes this pretty easy to answer. hes been here before, just not as himself.
2. why would roxy be looking for someone who took her eyes? if they were taken prior to gregory, why not make them stronger?
for the first part, i would like to mention that roxy seems extremely disoriented in ruin at first. its possible she got hit by one of the go karts, or was simply having her eyes replaced/changed out for some other reason. at least in sb, security protocols are deactivated in the protective cylinder in parts and service, leaving them dangerous. if roxy was left in that state for whatever reason (say, a repair got interrupted by nasty earthquakes..), and the last thing she really remembers is someone taking her eyes.. you see where im going, yeah?
as for the second part, roxys upgrade is literally her eyes. so its very possible that an addition feature of it (one we arent told) is “these have a new attachment style that Hopefully Stays In Better than the last ones.” they didnt, but like, usually people dont hit the robots with go karts and rip out their eyes. just like chica, her beak would not typically be easy to remove - they both were quite literally crushed by something, weakening the stuff holding in their parts.
3. why are the glamrocks broken in the same way gregory broke them?
this ones pretty easy! gregory finds bags that hint/outright tell us that these robots break regularly. monty keeps getting knocked off the catwalks when someone hits a hurricane hole-in-one. roxy jumps in front of test drivers because she wants to ride. chica loves pizza, so be careful when trash compacting because that thing will crush a robot. this is not the first time theyve been broken in this way.
4. why would there be a maskbot with melted on bunny ears before vannys take over?
NOW were getting to the more difficult stuff. but, this theory still includes ggy/rab and vanny as being there, so its not that hard to explain. vannys been present since help wanted, which was seemingly pre-plex. and this mask isnt a retcon - this is a callback. thats the same design as the original “strange mask.” and it falling into cassies hands would explain why vanny is just a white rabbit, not white and brown! whether it was a prototype and changes were planned or it was lost at some point, vanny had to make her new mask and suit. it makes more sense to find that mask in good condition prior to sb, rather than after, at least to me.
and, on the topic of maskbot, they probably just took their casing and programming and slapped it on a new staff bot endo. not that hard. vanessa threatened freddy with something similar. i cant imagine theyd care much about saving mapbot with their head casing messed up. (or, they fixed them, and they have their hat to hide the messy seams?)
5. why would the minis be roaming, if were told they escaped during sb? why do they have the melted bunny ears if this is a prequel?
this was the main part i could make sense of in that section (if you want to reword the other parts in that bit feel free, but i couldnt understand them well so im leaving them out ^^;)
we dont have a date for the log in sb that tells us they broke out (or were ‘stolen’), so really, they couldve broken out pre-ruin and we just found a really old log. as for the bunny ears - casing can be replaced or repaired.
6. why would gregory not know the plex that well, if hes been there enough to be mimicked?
we dont know gregory doesnt know the plex well, firstly. we dont get context of if he knows the place or not, really. but again - if ggy is to be trusted to any degree, then rab should know his way around the plex, even if gregory doesnt.
7. why is it implied that gregory is trying to get freddy out, if its implied in ruin he already got one out?
i dont know where exactly its implied he already got freddy out in ruin (are you talking about the footprints/punch marks?), but this theory leans into “gregory isnt free yet” - its rab and mimic, never gregory. rab could control the animatronics as far as im aware, so the footprints and stuff can be explained by him and vanny traveling around with freddy to move stuff or keep guard or smth. especially since we dont have much other proof that gregory and vanessa took the full freddy body (how would they sneak him out? how did the prototype get there?), this might even make more sense in a way.
multiple perceptions of a situation means multiple explanations! switching my perception to “it was never gregory, hes still trapped” has led to some fascinating thoughts. fun!!
n. not to sound like a conspiracy theorist. but do we have like.. undeniable confirmation that ruin is a sequel. like.. ANY? at all? any dates? any references directly to sb?
anything?
#x#x chatter#‘the shattered animatronics—‘ we said same abt the withereds in 2 dont start that w me#<-og tag of mine btw lol /lh#the shattereds dont prove much imo

SxF Chapter 49
(Beware spoilers)
We're almost 50 chapters!! Wohoooo 🥰
Still.... after the ending of chp 48, I have no clues at all of how the story in this chapter will go.
Thus, I am not prepared at all, when Endo slapped me with this much angst 🥲
I mean, I love hurt/comfort. But this chapter is all about hurt without comfort (yet)... I'm....🥲
Ahem. Okay, let's see the lighter part of this chapter first.
Anya being worried for her mom's safety is sooo cute!! She really tried her best, but after playing all day, she got sleepy.
And day by day, she started to took her parent's trait, I found that cute 🥰
Like mother, like daughter.... LOL
On Loid's side.... a bit of TwiYor content here. Loid really misses his wife. Especially, since he had to watch over Anya all day long, and he got really tired from doing so.
Now you understand how Yor feels when you went all around town for your mission, eh???
I can't wait to see his expression when he reunited with Yor 🥰
(The rest will go under the cut, because this is a loooooonnngggg post.)
Now unto the villains...
It looks like Steve Jobs is a sniffing freak! That's one scary ability there..... yet, that ability could become a weakness too. But by the his inner monologue... apparently this man was one of those who responsible in eliminating the Gretchers. Which means, he's one formidable enemy. The "boss enemy" of this arc.
I am both excited and terrified in anticipating the match between him and Yor 🥶
But, I say, the most terrifying enemy is the "evil Frankie". Informants always works in the shadow. Made them those with higher chance of survivals, and yet they held the important things/cards in their hands. With enough strategy, they will able to use it to evil deeds. Scary. And just look at this. He already prepared to save himself, should things went south.
Now, on the lighter note...
Soft boy detected!
Furseal, whose real name turn out to be Zab, already admired Olka for a long time!! Awww... and he even noticed how distressed Olka (and the baby) are, and thus take action to be the goofy one, so that they could relax a bit.
Olka knows this, which made her commented that he’s a nice guy.
Awww.... I just hope.... really hope.... Zeb didn't die protecting Olka. After what had happened to Olka, I want her to at least has someone she could rely on, someone that will not betrayed her under any circumstances. That person being Zab here. (Please Endo....hear my praaayy....)
From his backstory, however.... now we get a timeline. We are currently around 10 years after the war.
And that apparently the Gretchers were not at the same side with the current government, despite their enormous power. Which might be one of the reasons why they're eliminated. The government needs their resource for weaponry, but they refused to cooperate. Thus they're eliminated.
This made me think.....
The Gretchers are friends with Garden. Garden was said to serve the shadow government. And in that term, Garden might also be at the side who don't want any war....
Which means.... Garden and WISE might be at the same side!!
I really hope so.
That means we have a possibility of Loid and Yor doing join mission, buuuuttt then we might have a Yor vs Yuri??? (Okay, I'll stop here)
Continue to Garden member. I am awed by McMahon.
He is one awesome character!! By the way he act here, we can conclude that he is one with enough experiences. Good one and bad ones. He might had seen so many things in this world, thus he understand the nature of human beings. Him being the soldier who would do things necessary for his country? Ugh... total badass!! And unlike Yor, he knows how to use different type of weapons. Fire weapon, close range weapon, throwing weapons.... wow!! wow!!
And once again, I got the feeling that he’s Yor’s mentor. He knows when to scold her (forgeting the knocking code?? Yor!! Don’t be too nervous!), but he also acknowledge her as one of the strongest assassins in Garden.
Btw, somehow I got the feeling that McMahon is there to watch over Yor too. He seems like the loyal butler of Shopkeeper. And Yor is the princess (Shopkeeper’s daughter). And thus Mc Mahon is responsible of her safety too. I mean, look at him. Cleaning after the mess, preparing them food, smoothing their cover story, and for the night, he asked “the three of them” (Yor included) to ‘rest’ while he ‘cleaned’ the enemies.
He really got the ‘loyal butler’ and ‘mentor’ vibes here.
Now aside from Furseal, I am also afraid that he might die in doing what he has to do (protecting Yor).
Uuuhh but please Endooo!! If you want to kill someone, let it be Steve Jobs!! pleaseeee!!!
(btw, could we have McMahon at the cover of the 8th volume?? but we haven’t even got Handler yet!!)
Leave it to Endo, to make this supposedly warm panels, hurts so so so sosooooooo muccch T.T
Now, the last but not least, the source of this chapter’s angst...
Yor... oh my dear Yor...
She’s so afraid of getting hurt because she thought it might hindered her to return to the Forgers. She was reminded that the Forgers are just ‘fake’ family.
Yor is a simple person. All this time, she do whatever she has to do, doing all the dirty jobs, all for one purpose: Raising Yuri.
Now that Yuri had able to stand on his own two feet, suddenly Yor felt lost. And for the first time, she also has wants. Yor wants something, that is to be loved by a family. Yet she felt that she isn’t allowed to have what she wants. Ugh!!
Not having a goal in her live, currently doing an unusual job, and now she also wants to be with the Forgers but she felt she wasn’t appropriate in doing so.... And by sitting alone in the dark quiet room, her mind wanders: She felt lost and she is depressed T.T (and my heart breaks!!)
But by the next chapters, I hope she realized, that the Forgers are not ‘fake’. At least, Anya really see her as the mother. Anya needs her. And that getting hurt to protect her family is worth it. (I have a feelings that Yor might get hurt in protecting Anya, who in her own way tries to help, but the kid didn’t realized that these assassins are dangerous.)
So, all in all, this chapter really make me feels.... (still a wonderful chapter though!)
In next chapter I think we’re finally entering the climax of this arc (the countdown begin!).... I can’t wait!

Thanks! ^_^ Yeah I thought that period post rescue and pre full recovery is a interesting part of the RBA timeline. I can play around with it in my head because I figured you wouldn’t actually write a story on it.
Yeah totally the WBC squad would be complete busybodies over 1146 and trying to get him to feel better or relax. 1146 being 1146 is I don’t relax! and he’d be even more aggressive on the job because that seems to be his best way of coping. Still 4984 would be the one to worry the most and get irritated the most with him when he knows 1146 is more bothered by Cancer then he lets on. Also maybe 4989 is the one who privately asks the Macrophage who raised 3803 to please let 1146 see 3803 as soon as possible. Macrophage, after hearing the plea, makes a compromise that works if one comes up. That’s how 1146 ends up seeing 3803 earlier then he was suppose to. He’s lucky enough it happened at night when most Macrophages are gone and Main Macrophage is on duty. When she’s sure 3803 is in a deep sleep, she lets 1146 go into the room to have some private time while she waits outside the room. After having seen 1146 care for 3803, Macrophage thinks she can trust 1146 around a very weak 3803.1146 gets his alone time with her without fear of startling her too much.
When 3803 starts to struggle in her sleep, Macrophage comes in and 1146 gets some insight into the Macrophage and RBC relationship. Macrophage scoops 3803 up into her arms and walks around the room cradling and humming to her charge. This causes 3803 to settle down into a more peaceful slumber again. 1146 never thought much about it, but Macrophages have a unique bond with RBCs and he can tell this particular Macrophage and 3803 seem to have a close bond, which he silently deduces this Macrophage must have raised her. It starts to remind him of his own WBC teacher who raised him. Macrophage admits she she’s missed coddling 3803 like this since she used to have to care for her more then the other children and still sees her as her cute baby. But that always annoys 3803 since she wants to be seen as a adult so 3803 has a habit of complaining when Macrophage gets too snuggly with her. Sometimes when she finds 3803 napping out under a tree or something. Macrophage will kiss her face all over until she wakes up, just like she used to in the bone marrow. Sometimes if 3803 has had a hard day and is too tired she won’t wake up no matter how much Macrophage peppers her cute cheeks with kisses. After awhile, Macrophage just carries her home and tucks her in. Macrophage thinks it’s because she’s down this so many times 3803 is so comfortable with Macrophage she won’t wake up out of trust.
1146 suddenly feels like he’s intruding on something personal. Like he should be ashamed he’s here and badgering Macrophage so much. He’s not the only one who cares about her after all. When Macrophage sits down and starts kissing 3803’s face all over like a mother does a baby, 1146 tries to excuse himself to give them space. To his surprise, Macrophage stops him and calls him over to sit down in one of the arm chairs. He does and Macrophage gently plops 3803 wrapped up in a oversized blanket into his lap. She quietly asks him to cradle her while she goes to check on something. She leaves right away before 1146 can protest and 1146 is kind of nervous he’s alone with 3803 like this. But he realizes Macrophage is showing a lot of trust in him so he resolves to keep 3803 comfortable.
When Macrophage comes back, 1146 is on his feet and slowly swaying back and forth with a peacefully sleeping 3803 in his arms. She tells him good job and after tucking 3803 back into bed, 1146 feels much more at peace with himself. Being able to earn Macrophage’s trust like that and seeing and helping 3803 even a little lifts a huge weight off him (though he could have done without her teasing of not leaving his princess without a good night kiss. That Macrophage spends too much time with Dendritic Cell).
The WBC squad totally dotes on her when she recovers and is let out. Not just for 1146’s sake since the guy won’t admit how worried he really is about letting 3803 out of his sight again - for fear of damaging her broken self confidence. But also because they too feel some guilt over her abduction and saw how terrible her condition was when they found her. As soon as she starts her first job 2626, 2048 and 4989 all jump out of nowhere to walk everywhere with her (2001 is taking 1146 to the Liver to help him vent and try to relax a bit). If a Normal Cell gets too friendly with her they get in-between them and are -_- What are your intentions with out Little Miss Red? and scare for the poor cell into running off. 3803 is not sure about this but at least they’re not scaring her clients off when she drops their orders off. She’s still kind of rattled and scared of everything but she’s still determined to do her job. Which is why she goes out with a smile but lets everyone baby her to death even though on some level she knows she doesn’t like it. The WBC squad take her down routes and princess carry her over obstacles or if they feel like she’s not up to full strength and getting tired. Normally she’d be against this, but she can’t help but be touched by their tending to her but also know this is their way of trying to make up for what happened to her; even though she blames herself and doesn’t think it’s their fault at all. So until she asks 4201 to let her go alone, she lets them spoil and over protect her without protest.
However she still gets embarrassed. Like 5100 and the other RBCs doting on her and lecturing her to the point other RBCs think she’s a new graduate. Sometimes 5963 or 1076 carries some of her stuff for her if she has double orders (they won’t do her job for her. But they will try to lighten the load in the beginning until she’s used to heavy lifting again). 5100 and 4201 bark at other (non client) cells who inconvenience her and instantly report any cell who acts weird around her. One time 2626 scooped her up in her arms to jump over a building for her to get somewhere faster and ended up carrying her the rest of the way when he discovered she had bruised her ankle bad earlier in a germ attack (he felt bad he didn’t save her fast enough). She pouted but this was early on so her protests she was fine fell on deaf ears. She ended up falling asleep and finding out later 2626 rang the doorbell to the clients house for her. Her package was situated on her stomach and the client simply stamped the papers herself (maybe it’s that same endo skin cell) while suspiciously quizzing 2626 on why he has a unconscious RBC with him. 2048 and 4989 were also with them at the time and they all somehow ended up in the liver where she woke up sitting in 2001’s lap while he was in the middle of playing a card game. To this day she has no idea how and why she ended up in that position and or why they all took her there. Even more strange 1146 was there and even took his friends side in that it was a good idea. Even though they refuse to outright tell her what was a good idea and what adventure she apparently went on with them while in a deep slumber. All she knows is that they had a Hepatocyte bandage her foot up and all the Liver cells cooed about what a precious princess she was to these good WBC boys.
Either way 2001 wouldn’t let her leave his lap because, in a flat voice, he promised 1146 and 1146 was the one who put her there (he had to go on patrol and dropped 3803 right into 2001’s arms and lap while he was starting his card game). This is the best game he’s had in a long time. Having a cute RBC sleeping in his lap is giving him a cooler reputation that’s intimidating the other players. Plus, he adds in a still flat and serious tone, he’s discovered he likes having her sit in his lap. She’s warm soft and he thinks she might be a little lucky for his winning hand. She’s so bewildered by everything going on in the first week of her coming back to work. She just silently nods and settles back against his chest. The last lap she remembers sitting in was Cancer’s so sitting all snug in 2001’s lap and encaged in his arms holding the cards feels comforting. His seemingly carefree yet overprotective warmth is far different from Cancer’s smothering and invasive embrace. She at least knows 2001 and the other WBCs are solely motivated by her protection and emotional wellbeing. She ends up nodding off to sleep again thanks to the rhythm of chest rising and falling of his chest against her head resting against it lulling her to nap again.
When she wakes up again she’s somewhere completely different and somehow did three more deliveries while she was out of it. Apparently 2048, 4989 and 1146 all got the idea from 2626 to just carry her to all her destinations and drop off all the orders she was assigned to deliver to other cells. They were all together so they each took turns because RBCs and their orders can be heavy after some time. X/ The orders were nutrients so it was easy to do. Just really weird for the cells who were her client to see this petite RBC technically making her deliveries to them (since they just put the basket on top of her) even though she was sleeping and being carried by a super scary WBC in the company of at least two or more other scary WBCs at the time.
Needless to say 3803’s first week was not a good one in her opinion. It was highly embarrassing for a week she had envisioned being her great comeback to greatness. Only to spend a portion of it asleep, injured and babied beyond all belief. But she’s so grateful they all care so much about her she can’t bring herself to say anything other then thank you. Xp
~~~
I have nothing more to say other than that you’re an awesome writer in your own right and unless I happen to refute this in NIA, you’re more than welcome to think of this as canon. I especially love where you write about Macrophages/3803′s relationship. It’s super cute and it really makes you think about other relationships within CAW.
(Also, is it just me, but are we infantilizing 3803, here? Hahaha, I feel like we should give her more credit, especially with the events in recent canon. I feel like they would try to baby her, but she would definitely stand up for herself after a few days and be right back on her feet. While her mental health might not be as great as it should be, her physical health is still okay. I just want to reiterate that while I do love 3803 getting carried around in fun, I don't want to rob her of her agency so soon after Cancer had already done so).
Yuunoa One-Shot Prompt! New Family AU!
Relationships: Yuuichirou Hyakuya/Shinoa Hiragi
Characters: Yuuichirou Hyakuya, Shinoa Hiragi, (side) Mikela Hyakuya, (side) Guren Ichinose, (side) Yayoi Endo
Rated: General Audiences (ao3) (Mild sexual references)
Summary: Yuu sees his new born twins and contemplates how lucky he is.
For @34716156hnsy :) <3
The silver light of the moon filtered through the hospital window, blanching the crisp sheets and the ashen lilac tufts of hair that hung over Shinoa's face. Yuu allowed himself to watch her peaceful slumber a moment longer whilst idly stroking her forearm. He smiled before rising as quietly as he could muster, save for the small hiss that his cracking joints forced him to release. He left the small room stiffly, rubbing he nape of his neck. Though he could feel himself forcing his eye lids to peel open with each blink, nothing made him feel more alive than what he was about to do.
"Can I see them again?"
He flattened his palms against the desk where there was only one nurse. The dimly lit corridors merely awake with a faint monitor bleeping here and there. Nurse Yayoi quirked her hot pink brow and eyed him from over her glasses with a knowing smile,
"Hyakuya, isn't it?"
Yuu nodded enthusiastically despite his all but two hour and thirteen-minute sleep so far that night. Yayoi smiled almost to herself when realising who she was dealing with. This man wasn't going to take no for an answer. She hated denying new parents anything to do with their children. She rose from behind the desk,
"Right this way."
As she led him towards the ward. His palms began to sweat and his heart raced as he ran a hand through his jet-black mop of hair that hadn't tamed his whole life. He briefly wondered if maybe one of them might have hair like that too, one day. The thought made him beam uncontrollably.
"Here they are."
The nurse with the fuchsia hair lilted quietly. Yuu found himself taking fastidious steps towards the glass, looking through to see all the new borns in the nursery. His palms rested against the glass in a childish excitement as his eyes darted around to find them. Yayoi tried to suppress her small giggle with her hand at his demeanour. She shouldn't do this, but she just couldn't help but want to indulge this new parent's elation. She allowed a bright smile,
"Would you like to go inside?"
His bright emerald orbs flashed to her with a sharp breath and before he knew it, she was allowing him inside the nursery to see them. His children. Our babies... We're parents he thought, bursting with joy. His breath hitched, eliciting an inaudible laugh as Nurse Yayoi helped gently scoop up their first born. Bundled in a soft, white blanket and knitted hat. His eyes were glistening as she helped place the new born in his arms, he gasped the moment he was holding her. His first born, a daughter. We still need to think of a name he mused internally before eyeing the nurse hopefully. She was already holding his second born, his son, whom they also hadn't named as of yet. The names they'd thought of during Shinoa's pregnancy just didn't quite fit who their babies have been born to be…
"I happen to think Guren is a great name. Strong and -"
"Oh please, there's no need to curse the poor child with that name."
Mika interrupted, smirking into his coffee mug as everyone laughed. Guren shrugged with a smirk,
"I'm just saying the kid'll have it good with a name like that."
Whilst he leant back into the sofa chair he'd sat on, in Yuu and Shinoa's new home.
"And what if they’re both born as girls?"
Mika countered from his stool, making Yuu chuckle, his hand caressing Shinoa's back between her shoulder blades to ease some strain. After a light moment, Shinoa held her lower back as she moved to sit down on the sofa chair next to Guren's with gritted teeth. Her swollen belly protruded so far out that Yuu would have had several panic attacks if he didn't know that they were expecting twins. Yuu rushed over to her to hold her arm as she tried to sit and she swatted him away playfully,
"I'm fine, Yuu, really - you already did your part by getting them here in the first place."
Slightly through gritted teeth as she tried sitting as comfortably as was plausible, Yuu offered a nervous chuckle as he flushed whilst Mika and Guren barely suppressed their laughter. Shinoa allowed a devilish smirk, she adored how even after six years together he was still so easy to tease about their sex life. He's always been very private, whereas she was utterly shameless. The thought made her giggle lightly before her expression changed. She started ignoring the absent chatter of the others whilst she absorbed what had just happened. Her palms shot to cradle her swollen belly as she flashed her doe, brown eyes to her husband,
"Yuu!"
His brows furrowed, immediately striding toward her again as he realised before she'd even said anything,
"My water broke."
Guren had driven them to the hospital and nineteen hours later, here they were. Nurse Yayoi had helped him hold his son as well. Yuu's breath faltered as his son was also in his arms, both babies nestled into his chest, cradling them in an arm each. He couldn't stop looking at them.
"You're so beautiful."
He choked a whisper, another inaudible laugh followed before he stated fervently,
"Oh I wish I could hold you all night."
As he absorbed each feature like a sponge, branding them to his memory. Wanting to remember every single thing about them on such a special day. How their tiny features were still so red, the sweet little nub that was their noses, how their skin was softer than silk. It felt like he was holding them for mere minuets when the nurse stated,
"I'm afraid we'll have to leave now."
His eyes reluctantly ripped away from them to meet her gaze with glistening eyes,
"Can I have five more minutes? Please?"
He begged and she bit her lip, eyes darting around a moment before she adjusted her glasses on the bridge of her nose, stating,
"I just need to grab something, you can hold them until I'm back."
Before leaving with a small smile, to which he reciprocated gratefully,
"Thank you."
He whispered back as she left before he faced his beautiful, sleeping children with a smile,
"I heard moments like this are few and far between, that you little guys don’t sleep much – or at least when we want you to. I guess you guys won't be letting me and your mom get any sleep for a while, huh?"
He chuckled to himself lightly as he cradled them closer to his chest as gently as he could. He shook his head with an internal laugh as he knew where his wife's thoughts would have been directed at his comment on them not being able to sleep as much, there were several things they’d be doing less of. His heart stopped along with his breathing when he could have sworn that he saw his son smile in his sleep.
"Are you smiling?"
He cooed quietly, careful not to wake them. Tears formed in the corner of his eyes as he smiled, trying to suppress a laugh as his daughter appeared more agitated in her sleep. A tear rolled down his cheek as he claimed in a fervent whisper,
"I can't wait to get to know you."
As his vow to always protect them, love them with all of his heart. The nurse had returned and so he breathed a ragged breath, having to be parted from them again. Not for much longer though, he argued as he swallowed his reluctance and allowed the nurse to help him gently place them back for now. Yuu was completely in the clouds, thinking of his new family. He couldn't get over just how God damn lucky he was. He thanked the nurse that gave him such allowances as he snuck back into the room where Shinoa was sleeping, as the term 'visiting hours' didn't apply to Yuuichirou Hyakuya, apparently. He was just holding onto the arms of the chair he'd been resting on to lower himself onto again when he heard the faint call,
"Yuu?"
He glanced up with his wide and bright green eyes to see his wife wearing a lazy smile. He automatically smiled with her as he thought how could she still look so goddamn beautiful after everything she's been through today? Well... Yesterday now, technically. She giggled softly at his racing thoughts and he moved his chair closer to the bed before sitting, taking her soft hand into the both of his,
"I'm sorry I woke you."
Before planting a chaste kiss upon her fingertips, caressing her small hand in his. She was notably weakened still, anaesthetic or not she gave birth not once but twice in one day. Her smile brightened as she said lowly,
"You didn't. I'm glad you're still here."
Their eyes didn't break contact and he brought her fingertips to his mouth again, kissing them once more as he claimed,
"I'm so proud of you."
Her heart still swelled at his words with a small, sharp intake of breath. After all this time, he always knew how to make her speechless and weak at the knees, making her feel like they were teenagers again. Her thoughts drifted to how he has been so stubbornly by her side that he's even refused to leave now, when some fathers don't want anything to do with their children. She tried interlocking her fingers with one of his hands as her eyes glistened with just how grateful she was, he used his spare hand to gently brush her stray strands of lilac hair from her face with expert care. They stayed that way for a while, his fingertips traced her features as delicately as a moth’s wing, tears pricked in his eyes once more.
"Don't cry, Yuu."
Shinoa implored in the silence, tears threatening to cloud her vision now also and he smiled, meeting her gaze as his fingertips stopped at her cheekbone, he choked,
"You've given me everything I could have ever wanted."
He breathed a laugh as she beamed, a tear escaping her. Before Shinoa, he was lucky enough to have Mika and Guren as his adoptive family, but there was always something missing. He always wanted one of his own. Shinoa was much the same, having met Yuu shortly after being disowned by her so-called family. Now they have their new family. He rose from his seat and planted a tender kiss upon her forehead. He didn't seem to mind the sheen of sweat that would usually threaten such a moment. He hovered over her as she whispered with a smile,
"I love you. So much."
Making him smile in return,
"Well that's good, it's a little late for you to back out."
He teased as he brushed her hair behind her ear and she giggled softly, tracing her small hands up his strong arms,
"Divorce exists, you know."
"Is that a threat, Shinoa Hyakuya?"
He lilted with near seduction in his tone and she bit her lip to suppress her giggle before enveloping his neck with her arms to embrace him.
"You're so stupid, Yuu."
She teased in his ear and he chuckled a husky laugh before peeling himself away enough to see her face,
"I love you, too."
Making her smile again before he planted a chaste kiss on her lips. After spending the night at the edge of her bed in that crappy hospital chair, Yuu couldn't wait to go home and sleep. Guren had come to pick them up with Mika, claiming they would be the better Godparent over the other respectively. Shinoa was looking much better, some colour had returned to her cheeks. The two couldn't help but beam as they got to see their children, their beautiful twins, and take them home for the first time.
Mamo-chan for character ask (^3^)
Of couuurse!^^ (And also I saw you too, anon who asked about Mamo-chan, as well!)
So, why I like him: He’s this introvert, vulnerable, kind, caring, empathic (literally!) little lonely soul with so much to give and so little people to give it to, before he met Usagi. And also, he’s a damn lot like my husband. (In fact, my husband built him into his wedding vows. Among else, he promised to always be the Mamoru to my Usagi. ;.; …)
Also, I can’t stress this enough - but making the one character who is an empath a socially awkward mess WHO IS ALSO AN ORPHAN is like the most tragic thing eve,r and so of course I need to love the baby boy because omfg and Usagi don’t you ever leave him he needs you.
Why I don’t: I love Mamo-chan. I just really dislike that the 90s anime authors seemed it totally neccessary to make him this aloof college guy with the big expensive car instead of that awkward, blushing, glasses-wearing, bus-riding High School boy flashing his ID card like a dork with the empath powers he was in the Manga (and is again in Crystal)?
Favorite episode/scene: Ugh. Too many. In the 90s: the R movie. Hands down. Mamoru finally being shown as someone vulnerable, some of his struggle and loneliness as a kid, and what Usagi brought to the table for him. Also I mean… HIS EYES THROUGHOUT THIS THING. The way he looks at Usagi when she’s getting attacked, when she’s sacrificing herself by using the Crystal, WHEN SHE’S DEAD. And then.. NOT… Ugh…
So, long gap, and then comes Episode 69, the sleeping beauty episode within the break-up arc. Same reason, basically - I love it when the 90s anime allowed the boy some feelings.
As for Manga/Crystal: BASICALLY ALL OF THEM. I love it when he stands there all indignant in his tux ansking this random girl if her cat talked. I love that kiss where we only see his hands and her flowing tears as he comforts her. I love the blush when Sailor Moon kisses him right before he sacrifices himself for her. I like the awkward way he stands behind her and his her head with her bag in his apartment cuz he giant awkward dork. Or when he bloody sniffs her handkerchief all alone on a rooftop.
I love it when he stands at Usagi’s window sill getting the girl to save the day cause he knows she will, I love it when he’s being integrated into the group like the lonely guy deserves, and I love that scene, early in the beginning, when he knows she’s Sailor Moon but she doesn’t know he’s Tux yet and she runs into him and it’s soo awkward and the smiiiile he gives her???
(Yes, you guys. Mamoru fell first. I will be adamant about this ALWAYS.)
And also these:
Favorite season: S and Super S (Manga and, strangely, 90s anime, too.) He got to be reliable, more dorky, more loving and doting there. More him. I mean.. driving around through Tokyo at juuust the convenient times whenever Usagi would need a ride?
Favorite line: @idesofnovember reminded me a whiiile ago of the gloriousness that is the supermarket episode. And that Tuxy serenade to supermarkets is pretty damn hilarious.
Favorite outfitThis one:
Although I really like his normal school uniform, too.
(Thank you, Manga and Crystal, for dressing this boy so much better. Y'know, at least when he’s not Endo.)
OTP: You get Usagi, Mamo-chan. No one else. Live with it.
Brotp: Motoki. Ami. Setsuna, maybe. And since I wrote him as accidently living with the Three Lights in Yugen, I kinda see him bonding with Taiki, too, if he ever got the chance.
Head Canon: He annotates Usagi’s school books, and he keeps emergency sweets around just for her. Always.
Unpopular opinion: I think that once he and Usagi are in a secure relationship (meaning, not in the vulnerable first dating phase, or even the not-in-a-relationship pining phase) he would not be a particularly jealous person. He knows this shit is destiny. He’s got other stuff to worry about in that regard (like being brainwashed yet again and once to many. Would keep him up at night way more than the possibility of Usagi’s eyes falling onto someone else for good, imo.)
A wish: I hope he and Usagi get to have some “normal” time before the Crystal Tokyo spiel. And I hope he and the Tsukinos can bond. And I would love to see more of his college life in fic - y'know, Kobayashi, Saori, etc.
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: You know, I think poor boy went through the worst things already that could ever happen to him. I mean - the number of times in the Manga and anime he basically held Usagi by the throat strangling her? Kissing other people? Like, y'know, HIS OWN DAUGHTER? Killing his soulmate? Kicking her lying on the ground? Please not all those ever again. Boy can use a break.
5 words to best describe them: Collected, quiet, worried, determined protector
My nickname for them: Mamo-chan! (Yeah, I’m not creative on that front, lol.)
Blood on the Tracks, Vol. 4 | By Shuzo Oshima | Vertical Comics – The first volume of Blood on the Tracks was suspenseful and shocking and I enjoyed that, but the next two installments were extremely disturbing because they basically depicted a mentally ill mother damaging her son in real time. I debated dropping the series, but decided to give it one more volume, and I’m glad I did. Seiichi finally has an ally, witness, and savior in the form of Fukiishi, his first girlfriend (who has her own shitty parent to contend with) and on the one hand it’s so great to see him finally have someone who knows exactly how terrfiying Seiko is and who gives him the courage to stand up to his mother. On the other hand, we saw what Seiko did to the last person who threatened to lead Seiichi away from her control. What is she going to do to Fukiishi? I’m simultaneously scared and hopeful. – Michelle Smith
How Do You Do, Koharu?, Vol. 1 | By Kanae Hazuki | Kodansha Comics (digital only) – If you’re wondering what you need to know from Say I Love You. to read this, the answer is nothing whatsoever—this takes place years later, and the only common connection is “Koharu” herself (real name Nagi). Instead, the book is a very good look into the life of those who livestream, and how a shared online connection can be unwanted… or scary… when meeting in real life. Especially as Koharu also works as a maid cafe, and has to deal with customers who also want to get up in her space. Koharu isn’t sure what she wants here, and the connections she makes with Shun are tentative. Negotiating modern relationships can be tough, but this looks like another fun shoujo series. – Sean Gaffney
A Journal of My Father | By Jiro Taniguchi | Ponent Mon – Whenever a new volume of Taniguchi’s manga is released in English it’s worth taking note, especially when it’s a lovely hardcover edition from Ponent Mon. The most recent example of this is A Journal of My Father, a quiet, contemplative work that was originally published in Japan in 1994. The story’s premise is simple enough—a man travels back to his hometown in order to attend his father’s funeral—but the characterization in the work is notably complex. After some prompting, Yoichi Yamashita, who has both literally and figuratively distanced himself from his family, arrives in time for the wake. Over the course of the evening, reflecting on his childhood and stories told by others, Yoichi gradually comes to terms with the fact that his father was a much more complicated person than he previously realized. Part historical drama, part family portrait, A Journal of My Father works on multiple levels. – Ash Brown
My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions, Vol. 1 | By Yoko Akiyama and Kohei Horikoshi | Viz Media – Sadly, this ended up being a bit of a disappointment. The premise suggested we’d be seeing a bit of the class that never gets attention, but no, it’s the same old main cast for the most part. It does get a bit better as it goes along. There’s two stories involving Melissa Shield, the original character from the first movie, which give her some nice depth, and also gives her a chance to team up with Mei, who is essentially her Japanese counterpart… though their personalities differ. The best of the team-ups involves Fatgum, Tamaki, Iida and Momo searching all over to try to find the handsome hero who saved a little girl… whose face she can’t quite remember. Could be better. – Sean Gaffney
Spy x Family, Vol. 4 | By Tatsuya Endo | Viz Media – This may be the best volume in the series to date, which is saying something. Yor kicking a car became an instant meme, but I think my choice for top moment has to go to the Handler’s description of what war is really like, in all its gory, violent tragedy. This is not to say that this volume is not also hilarious, be it Loid’s pathetic attempts at excusing himself to go be a spy, Anya’s horrid realization that she can’t read a clock, or everything Yor does in general, this is a winner. As an added bonus, DOGGO! Yes, we get a new cast member, and Bond is not only best doggy but also can SEE THE FUTURE! The series does a wonderful job balancing humor, fake dating, comedy and action equally, and is simply a must read. – Sean Gaffney
We’re New at This, Vol. 3 | By Ren Kawahara | Kodansha Comics (digital only) – The sexy is definitely amped up from the previous volume here. While our lead couple still have not managed to go all the way yet, they’re doing pretty much everything but, especially when Sumika has to change clothes after getting soaked in the rain in Ikuma’s office… and just strips completely naked. (Kudos, by the way, for not going with the standard comedy “someone walks in” here.) Elsewhere, it’s rapidly become clear that the reason that these two are not getting any further is simply that they find each other TOO ADORABLE, and are too busy squeeing to actually get it on. Frankly, if they ever fix that, the series is over, but for now, it’s funny, romantic and erotic in equal measure. – Sean Gaffney
A White Rose in Bloom, Vol. 1 | By Asumiko Nakamura | Seven Seas – Turns out that Nakamura-san can write yuri just as well as she writes BL. Honestly, the main reason to pick this up might be the faces—the artwork on the expressions throughout this volume is exquisite, and yes, I’m including the seemingly “steel” Steph, who slowly gets immersed in the walking disaster that is Ruby. (I almost typed RWBY there, and this would not need too much rewriting to be an AU fic there, to be honest.) There’s also some nice heartfelt emotion here, as Steph already has girls in love with her who are not happy with Ruby, and Ruby’s own home life may force her to leave the school soon anyway. This doesn’t have a volume two out in Japan yet, but volume one is still worth getting for yuri fans. – Sean Gaffney
Witch Hat Atelier, Vol. 7 | By Kamome Shirahama | Kodansha Comics – The majority of this volume is dedicated to Qifrey, his past (much of which is still a mystery to him), and possibly also explains why he was so quick to take pity on Coco for her own tragic experiments. Indeed, Coco’s mother comes up again for the first time in a while, and it’s hinted that she may very well be beyond saving, and that Coco will have to come to terms with that. Still, Coco is the living definition of “take a third option,” as this volume shows, and I think in the end she and Qifrey will be good for each other—even if he still has quite a bit of darkness residing within him. All this and the usual jaw-dropping artwork make me wonder why I waited so long to pick this up from my stack. – Sean Gaffney
