What does Kokomi do at Spirits and Such?

When she was first hired, she was a receptionist! She would talk to people at the door, and answer calls! But after Reigen saw a middle-aged dude openly thirst after her and spent the entire consultation openly staring at her with heart eyes, she became the social media manager and could also answer calls if she wanted!

(Kokomi does not fully understand why she was suddenly not a receptionist anymore and why Reigen asked her if she was 'okay' afterwards) (She assumes he just thinks she's too delicate to talk to strangers at the door) (She is wrong)

2. If Saiki finds out Kokomi works at s&s, how does it happen?

Oh, he finds out. It takes a while but Saiki 'Stalker' Kusuo hears her thinking about her job one day and immediately is like, when the fuck did she do that??? And does 'his best' to ignore it (Which is to say, he does nothing for the day before immediately stalking her using his psychic powers the next. You know. like a normal person)

He's so on edge when he first sees Reigen and is fully prepared to mentally set him on fire if he even thinks anything bad about Teruhashi but he's just.

like a normal dude. He's clearly fond of her, but it's more in a way that borders on parental than anything else. (Well, not really bordering since she lives with him half the time, but Saiki does not know that)

He tries to stalk her the next day but runs into Mob, who he quietly uses to just ensure that Teruhashi is completely fine and happy there (because it'd be troublesome if she wasn't) (he totally doesn't care about her at all. Nope, definitely no care there)

But he ends up becoming minor friends with Mob! They don't really hang out much since one of them is a high schooler and the other is a middle schooler, and they live in completely different cities. But they have each other's number and bond over being psychic sometimes.

(Saiki is in complete shock about the fact that Mob makes no effort to hide his powers)

3. How did Makoto meet Reigen and get punched in the face?

Hehe : ). Guess you're just gonna have to go and see when I eventually write the fanfic. All I can say is that it involves one of Reigen's secret moves.

So post-game resetfrin and gloop. they go with the party, kinda like a lot of twohats aus? resetfrin goes with the party because they know mirabelle and kinda know isabeau from when he would get apprenticed by the king (long story), but also because resetfrin acted so much like the old siffrin they used to know that it felt odd to leave him behind.

gloop, however, WAS the old siffrin! the party knows this, they found it out in the last loop, and they've formed such a bond with them that it's as natural as it is in the original game. the only issue is: gloop has changed SO much. physically, mentally, even a pronoun change - the party wants to help her out, but they want to explore who this New Siffrin is, too. Isn't it ironic that the new addition is the one you know far more of than the old addition?

resetfrin stays siffrin because... uh. because he's always been siffrin? there's no conflict there. gloop, after getting their memory back, ALSO goes back to siffrin, because that's who they really are and they acknowledge that loop is their own person. they don't want to be reminded of their time as gloop, either.

so... they're both Siffrin. And they're both technically the same person. do you see the issue?? the two of them didn't. the party did.

there's a comic I'm thinking about making to explore the processes and conversation that happened to initiate the name changes. the long and short of it is they can't BOTH be siffrin, but neither of them want to be siffrin if the other one can't also be siffrin, so they go on separate journeys to find a new name. they come back together with the party afterwords and they both ended up picking the same name so it's back to square one.

they talk to the party the second time and after a lot of brainstorming land on Orion for resetfrin and Lux for gloop. it helps the party distinguish between them and helps me establish the difference between postgame content and in-game content

(plug moment but these names were suggested by @the-bitter-ocean who gave me like. a whole list of things i could choose from. oh the life saver. i didn't even think about what names they would've picked until xe helped. and ohhh theyre so good. he also has some amazing aus including a miraloops au that you should go check out. pretty please)

the hair thing is SUPER IMPORTANT i originally only did it because they needed a way to separate themselves from eachother, but i realized they would also have done it to separate themselves from the old people they used to be. very poetic. 10/10 thank you brain for the excuse

the colors for orion's alt outfits are just a limited color pallete, they're not actually the colors afaik. (<- says the creator) but Lux's colors are 100% the colors, yes. their star body is different from loop's, where loop's body is solid black and lux's seems to glow on it's own. do you see where the name lux came from.

it's really dysphoric. imagine being turned into a ghost against your will and losing your memories, and them after gaining your memories back you turn into a completely different body AGAIN and it's STILL not the original body you had. i would cry.

gloop/lux's eye is still blind. even as a ghost they lacked depth perception. L. since resetfrin wasn't with the party to lose his eye they don't have any vision impairment

KING TIME

okay i got a lot of questions about it so i double-checked on the original post and. yeah it DOES say the king's name. both in the text and on the image. but you'd be forgiven for missing it because it's pretty small on the image and there's a lot of text to read through

anyway pre-madness king's name is Lazare!! he originally looks like the lithe dude on the left. he's scholar-ish, came to vaugarde on vacation before losing his memory, yadda yadda... a lot of his information is on the original post so I won't repeat anything that's already been said

he picked Lazare a few days after losing his memory. he never told his name to anyone in the town he was staying so all he got was "travelling one" and he really genuinely thought that was his name for a hot second until he realized that Vaugarde really likes adding -one to titles

i made his hair curlier! after drawing the king for the chapter cg i realized i did NOT makw his hair curly enough when drawing Lazare. his hair type is almost exactly mine, though mine has more define curls, so drawing it is a BLAST!!

Defender arc Lazare! He bulked himself up to come off more physically and mentally strong. is this a trans allegory? is the King trans or was the body craft just to match his perception of himself? not sure. At this point in time he's already travelled with siffrin for a bit so i like to think he's a teensy bit protective. somewhere between friend snd father figure. cool guy

this is where the King becomes the King :3 his hair is OBNOXIOUSLY long, almost rapunzel-like but nowhere near as bad. it always covers one eye but it doesn't really matter which one.

the crown happens like... VERY shortly before he makes the wish and starts freezing people in time. hes lonely and isolated and its something like coping with his delusions about everyone being out to get him

that's not the way he thought in the original loop, but after the reset his descent is much faster and harder than the last. when Siffrin starts climbing the tower, yearning becomes animosity as he thinks Siffrin finally betrayed him like he "always knew they would." or something.

i'm VERY curious to know more about your version of query/sugar and echo/spice combining them was so huge brained of you. can you tell me more about them :)

this ask has been sitting in my inbox for quite literally just over a year so i apologize for it not seeing the light of day until now. my brain is very fickle about when it will let me say words out loud and when i need to sit in the soup for a while and marinate my thoughts until they make sense. but the day has arrived! hark!

SOOOO. query and echo / sugar and spice! for comprehension's sake, dierdre is query/sugar/? and nina is echo/spice/? - i'll call them by their real names so that it doesn't become insufferable to read. you may have noticed that i added an extra "?" category to each of their titles. this is because i've decided that as a natural continuation of the gimmick of their characters, they also work as backup performers for music meister in their spare time, but i haven't decided on shownames for them yet.

they're fairly stagnant background characters in my au so i don't plan to develop them to any particular extreme depths, but the kind of ongoing comedic subplot that they're involved with is that throughout their stints as edward's henchwomen they're also simultaneously working for twoface as his henchwomen, and i think maybe twoface knows about their 'other job' but edward doesn't, and he gets flustered over them quote-unquote cheating on him with another boss even though it's literally just a business arrangement and he never said they couldn't work for anyone else, etc, and twoface gives them way better work benefits anyway really eddie should be lucky to have them, come on now 🙄 and of course this only escalates when edward figures out that they are also working for music meister. behind his back! the entire time!!!! the whole thing is very looney tunes.

outside of their jobs, nina and dierdre are fairly average (if insane) freelance workers who just want to cover rent. they have a strange symbiotic relationship that i labeled as 'queerplatonic' on the relationship chart i made but honestly, i don't think i can categorize it in any fully accurate manner. they're just kind of attached at the hip. package deal. two for one discount. buy one get one free (this being said they definitely have something casually sexual going on with edward. come on now. look at him). they make a pretty fair living in the goon-for-hire business and have avoided jail so far by virtue of an unexpectedly encyclopedic knowledge of labor exploitation laws that has allowed them to weasel out of any direct charges. it also helps that the only competent attorney in gotham city is currently running a solid third of the mafia, so they don't exactly have much to go up against.

Which miraculous(es) the perfect miraculous group would weild the best in your AU(Wu Xing and Ying-Yang)?

This recent poll will change something of your AU or is just for fun?

Again, it would depend on what I'm doing story and setting wise. Cause the Miraculous I crafted are made up of 27 and that's 7 potential team members I would do, with not all 7 being for sure. Not all 27 need to be in use, so that would come down to what swaps I want to do and what characters I'd want to focus on.

I really don't have an exact answer for you on this.

Though for this poll, I can tell you that it may. It is being done for genuine curiosity. How Miraculous are set up is something I always go back and forth on. Like, doing this all based on Chinese myth and culture and themes can work, but they're also not fully committing to it.

Like, the Five are based on Wu Xing.

By this fact, Fox AND Turtle should have an edge over Butterfly, and be solid alternatives to Ladybug and Cat by extension. Say Butterfly is Wood, Fox as Fire should "burn it up" and Turtle as Metal should "break up Wood". But with how they went about things, it's hard to see how they could. Especially with canon pushing that Ladybug is the SOLE solution to dealing with Butterfly.

That's not working off Wu Xing properly.

And then there's Ladybug and Cat themselves.

Cat can work there. China really likes felines. But the Cat Miraculous works off the unlucky black cat which is exclusively west. China doesn't see cats as a catastrophe, they see them as lucky and as protectors, black as a color is tied to protection. So going with a kwami who's name is based on plague, and having a destructive power that could be easy to misuse, yeah that doesn't really work off what I've read.

And Ladybug has very little to it in China, I can't find a lot talked about to warrant the placement. Like, here's all the notes I put down on ladybugs in various cultures and what they're tied to and what they represent.

There's a lot for Ladybug in Europe, but I couldn't find a lot of expanded details for Ladybug eastward, which tells me it should've been more Europe based and just traveled a bit. To add to it, looking up lucky animals in China's culture, so many animals come up but not ladybug, though it's regarded as lucky by default of being red, a lucky color.

And between the Ladybug and unlucky black Cat, it works more off the western view, which makes sense as it's a French show, which makes me wish they worked off French/European culture instead.

Which just comes back to how the show sets up Miraculous. They don't really click well coming from China. And looking at the poll at the time, a majority are in agreement.

Miraculous I feel should've been tied to iconic/major civilizations/regions OR they were just universal, had no set region that they were tied to and they traveled about and that's how you got a lot of the same animals popping up in different cultures.

The latter especially allows a lot of creativity in how Miraculous relate to each other. You can have it be that all are uniquely powerful in their own ways, and certain ones can be specific answers to Miraculous misuse. You can roll with Ladybug and Cat as counterparts and not question it. There can be other wish granting pairs and maybe the wish you want depends on the pair. Like, if you want immortality, does the Ladybug and Cat really need to recreate reality for that? And it's a give and take that swaps things around, what human is going to naturally be immortal? Can also do Miraculous can have a lot of different pairs, like Cat can pair with Mouse, Dog, Snake, or Tiger. But that does come with a lot of trying to figure stuff out, deciding what should exist, like, Cat can easily represent all cats, so iconic cats like Tiger and Lion may not need to exist, but they also don't have the same symbolism and myths as Cat, so arguments can be made for them to exist. And how big of a number of Miraculous should exist? I do think there should be more than 7, but I don't want the hundreds the show is going with. And then there's figuring out a system of control and how do they relate to each other? This option has a lot of open possibilities, but a lot will need to be thought of and have some foundation put down.

The former though can get into representing cultures, it can give you nice defined themes and groups to work off of. Most cultures work off an elemental system, which can offer clear systems of control for Miraculous in relation to each other. But for animals that do pop up in different cultures, yeah you need to sit and decide who should go where. Some are easy, like Turtle, Monkey, and Tiger should be with China, Snake and Peafowl should be with India, Ladybug and Bee should be somewhere in Europe. Horse though appears in various European cultures, China, India, Egypt; how do you decide where Horse goes? That's another thing to really think about and debate. As well as doing extra research to decide what themes and groups they should be tied too.

So, yeah the poll may influence things. Going with Miraculous tied to China, I do like what I set up, but I also acknowledge 27 is a lot. And I can't promise all 27 would get focused on. And I'm also still not sold about them all coming from China. And I do debate should some really exist?

Depending on the poll, I may reconsider things and make changes. Majority are in agreement with me about not being crazy about all Miraculous coming from China. If people are up for it, I may do more polls to help decide things, as I can struggle with making choices.

We got another 6 days on the poll at this time, so we'll see.

Good Omens Family

I have been watching and reading Good Omens stuff recently, and I have my own idea for an OC that is Aziraphale and Crowley's kid. She is tall and slender like Crowley with Zira's more solid frame helping round the kid out so she's not a beanpole. Appearance wise she has Crowleys dark hair and good cheekbones with Zira's blue eyes and kindly/cheerful smile and air. She doesn't like it when there are homophobic comments about her Papa (Zira) and Dad (Crowley when he isn't feeling feminine, which is when Crowley is Mum).

There are many ideas for how the ineffable idiots got a child. And in my AU Crowley carried their daughter after turning to female due to being bored and needing a change in her skin. After their initial panic when she didn't change back to male at will they found she was pregnant which was another round of panic. This idea is purely self indulgent as while it is fantastic for Crowley to be protective over a pregnant Zira, I just couldn't pass up on how dramatic a pregnant Cowley would be. And the idea of a sweet but equally protective Zira is something that should also be explored.

When it came to naming their daughter it was a long discussion. There were several biblical suggestions (Aziraphale) and more modern rockstars (Crowley). Finally they decided on the biblical but modern Sarah with a coin toss deciding that her middle name would be Ruth. Sarah was the reason that Crowley and Zira got officially married (according to mortals) and helped in their move to the South Downs (Zira accepted that an antique bookshop was not the right place for a baby). But as in another fic that I cannot remember the name of, Zira was able to open/run a library in their South Down village so it was an easier transition.

Sarah was generally a happy and well behaved baby, but when she needed/wanted something she was loud (Crowley would say it was the demon in her to even out the angel). Growing up Sarah was a quiet and introverted kid who loved books, oldies music, and the garden/plants that were around the house (Crowley could not stop her from stroking and complementing them, a fact that always made Zira laugh). And if there were a few times in elementary school that Sarah brought a pitch black snake for show and tell that insisted on staying around her shoulders for the entire day (it was a very well behaved snake, and Crowley was somehow never around on those days, Aziraphale had to come sort things out with the school). Though the rest of Sarah's schooling if there was ever a bullying problem that same black snake found it's way into her school bag and came out when she was being backed into a wall (and if anyone heard her call it dad, they had to be hearing things.) When Sarah learned to drive, and started thanking the Bentley for the help but she really did have to practice because not every car was as great as she (the Bentley) was everyone just thought that her parents had rubbed off on her too much.

I realized I have not talked about Sarah's fashion style. While she will dress up in a usually white button up/collared shirt and black knee length skirt on a formal occasion her daily style was normally dark blue jeans (not the skin tight ones Crowley wears on the T.V. show, boot cut ones) and t-shirts. Given her skin tone Sarah usually wears blue or green as they look better, but she will wear an occasional red or purple if she likes the shirt.

As for how Heaven and Hell reacted to the development of their traitors having a child together, it was mostly ignored. Some demons (I'm looking at you Hastur) put her down as a possible way to get back a Crowley but mostly it was noted as something they didn't know could happen but did. Sarah knows about Heaven and Hell, like she knows her Papa is an Angel and her Dad is a Demon which is why she has her own abilities. But these were just facts in her life. The sky was blue, the grass was green, her Dad turns into a snake, heaven and hell were real and she would never see them as long as her parents had a say in the matter.

I'm watching this with people later so the goal is just to get through it enough to sate my impatience, so I'm back to ye olde standby of watching it at high speed with subtitles on. (...Only I guess I'm gonna be slowed down by making comments, huh?)

6:30 - Alright okay, fuck, Vannak took his spine pellet out and gets to have one (1) personality trait and it's animal facts and I kind of don't hate that. TV Chief is very unlikable but characters like Kai and Vannak playing the angle of having very youthful quirks bc having emotions is new is cute.

~10:00 - I have nothing to say yet about spooky shapes in the fog but I think this shot of Chief back to back with a marine is fun. Also I wonder if Corporal Perez (this character) will still matter 5 minutes from now.

Also looks like the foggy sword fight from the trailer is here, too difficult to get any kind of cap that doesn't suck out loud. I'm thinking about how I heard someone making a big deal about how Season 2 feels "less like a video game" (whatever that means), meanwhile "fog full of stealth sword guys trying to kill you" feels very very video game level.

Congrats to Soren's wife for continuing to be the most unexpectedly sympathetic supporting character I guess, but they made Soren so unlikable off the 1st season it's hard for me to feel investment of any kind here.

I've been thinking about Nightmare Y/n a lot. So I had 2 questions and some small blurps to give you!

Does he ever seek the help of other gods for punishment? Or does he simply use Nightmares to help him?

Also, would he have his own domain? Like how Zeus has the sky, Poseidon the sea, Hypnos the Realm of Sleep, Atermis the Forest, Dionysus the vineyards and party grounds etc, etc (I hope I got those right)

(Headcannon blurps underneath, and some smaller headcannons for this au sprinkled in)

A headcannon I had for this au is that Hypnos and Y/n do have their children, except they come to be due to Hypnos and Y/n fighting and the Fates interference (Except Phobetor, he's a special case).

With Hypnos having to try and restrain Y/n, he slowly loses the ability to look after the Dreams of mortals. His sisters, the Fates, see this and decide that during one of his clashes, they will give him a child to watch over dreams, so he can make sure mortals can sleep while fighting Y/n. Thus came Morpheus.

(Hypnos had won the battle, and as Y/n slept, he heard the cry a child. Morpheus stood in the aftermath of their battle with only Hypnos to watch over him. Y/n is told much later about his first son, meets him even later.)

The twin came during a friendly spar, much later in the future. Hypnos and Morpheus have solid control over the realm of sleep, and Y/n has gained full control of Mortals' nightmares. However, the realm sleep kept expanding, and the Fates had decided their little brothers family should expand along with it. Thus, Icelos and Phantasos came to be. Y/n had pinned Hypnos down, securing the fact that mortals were to have more nightmares for the year when the cry of infants filled the air. Once separate, Hypnos and Y/n find the twin wrapped in a Shroud of Mist, nightmares taking the form of animals hovered over the babies, seemingly watching over them. After panicking for a bit at the new children, Hypnos and Y/n take them to be clothes and named. They grow up knowing who Y/n is from the beginning. Unlike Morpheus.

Phobetor, however, was born only from Y/n. While Y/n could control Nightmares, he was not the God of them. So the Fates once again see that the realm of sleep needs a new caretaker and help Y/n to have a son with his power.

Phobetor is born from a violent battle Y/n has with his own cult. They had forsaken his teaching and began punishing those undeserving, earning the praise of the Olympians and earning Y/n ire. In was supposed to be a non-violent punishment peaceful scolding, quickly turned to bloodshed as Ares had influenced his cult. They had restrained Y/n with chains given by the Gods and planned to try and kill him. This only enraged Y/n, leading to his divine form breaking out and him killing those who didn't immediately pass from seeing him.

Phobetor, once grown, has full control over the realm of Nightmares, with his father overseeing it and helping him when not tormenting gods and punishing mortals or flirting sparring with Hypnos.

Chapter One: Bloodthrist

Junichirou's Perspective:

My heart pounds violently in my chest, each beat staining my view an even deeper shade of red. This is what I’m meant to do, to save Naomi and the agency. I am afraid of course, of the potential retaliation, what this could mean for my sister in the aftermath, and of course, for the agency. But for the battle to end, this is our only option. In this fight someone will have to lose their life. This is necessary, I will do what is necessary, to save Naomi, and the agency. Let this life put an end to it all.

Just as I plunge the blade down there’s a flash of light and it’s cut in half before it reaches its target. There's a hand around my wrist that feels almost solid but not quite.

“Forgive me, child, if this man dies, the mafia will return to the form I detested so.” It’s a woman’s voice, and its presence fills the whole room, as if somehow amplified.

I turn.

The woman herself matches her voice, commanding cherry red eyes with a sharp gaze held directly on me. She fears nothing, certainly not me. How dare she? To end this war I will make her afraid of me, make everyone here afraid of me and I will end this man’s life and the war for good. I tighten my grip around what’s left of the knife and make myself disappear.

“Visible or not, your bloodthirst is clear to me. I hesitate to wound one of Kyouka’s colleagues but . . .” I swear I hear her sigh, and then there’s a whooshing sound, the room is filled with knives. They cut away the red, leaving only my heartbeat, can she hear it? The room fades in and out, returning to its normal colour with flashes of silver swishing through it. Only one blade but it moves so fast I won’t possibly make it out alive. And she knows it, I can tell.

“There’s no use hiding, Tanizaki-san. I can still hit you, and don’t bother with the window, unless Dazai’s suicide obession has rubbed off on you, that is.” She just stands by her boss’s bed, not bothering to ferret me out, like she knows she’s won.

I start to burn, heat building, out of anger this time, in my chest turning the room red again, but it’s useless. I can’t touch her. I’m useless in this fight now. I need to think.

“You’ll still be useful to us without all your fingers, and I think you would prefer I found you, not my Demon. Wouldn’t you agree?” She has a determined expression, it turns tired when I don’t respond, “I can feel your bloodthirst from here, this is surely getting boring for the both of us. Reveal yourself.”

I do, I don’t know why, but I do.

The anger dissipates into something else as she takes me by the scruff of my shirt neck like I’m some lost kitten and I wonder why she doesn’t restrain me more, but I guess with her gift she assumes I would be too afraid to run. She’s right.

i think they should have two kids (fred and daniel, based on comic dibble's names) just because i think it'd be funny as fuck. am i making him even more like zenigata? sure but my justification is dibble is a little league coach and camp counselor which is stereotypically things dads do to connect with their kids :P

jazz and beau can be recurring antagonists with their own gang that being dark parallels to tc's gang. teehee.

trixie from the first movie can be a recurring character too but only if shes an irredeemable antagonist in jazz's gang. the rest of jazz's gang consists of pantera from top cat begins, rocky from the comics, and skratch gets to exist separate from spook.

i guess griswald could be recurring since he had two eps and in the comics there was a recurring antagonist who was a bulldog but i dont care enough about griswald to expand on that idea

I feel like I'm gonna end up with at least two more of these for the reverse au before quitting. It's starting to become a series. This one presented a different kind of challenge for me as Fiona uses cooler undertones and could easily end up looking lifeless if I don't balance it right.

Now for the main heroine of my OC's reverse au, Fiona Kuznetsov! For this AU, she's the Ladybug, hence her earrings, which took the form of little turquoise studs, a referrence to her prime counterpart favoring shades of blue. Her twin tails are inspired by Furina from Genshin Impact, down to the part where if you take them out, you'd be left with Fiona's original shorter hair style. There's some referrences to canon's Ladybugs here, like her shirt pattern is meant to look like a solid pinkish red embroidered version of Marinette's shirt print and those long red ribbons alongside her ponytails are a shout out to Bridgette from the anime PV. Compared to Shizuke and Blair, she has by far the most drastic change compared to her normal look.

Now, why the drastic change?

It's all because her backstory drastically changed just because she didn't have Keagan and Shizuke as her childhood friends. The two boys encouraged her to be more true to herself growing up, being more outspoken and tomboyish. Their impact on her life is meant to evoke the same effect Alya had in Marinette's life, according to the special. But in this AU, the Supreme has them both on a leash in different ways.

Where does that leave Fiona? Still from a rising nouveau riche family with her papa urging her to fit in with the rich kids and dolling her up. Without Keagan to ease off the pressure (being friends with the mayor's son, she basically already got the biggest fish in the pond) or Shizuke to protect (its how she gained her rep as the school's bully hunter), Fiona never had the chance to figure out what she really wanted for herself. And so she followed her papa's wishes and tried to be the perfect daughter because what else could she do? She lived life aimlessly like this, not entirely hating it as her papa is so proud of her at the very least, but not feeling that spark of life because something was always missing... she never knew what it was.

Then everything changed when she met this guy named Keagan at a gala. He looked like trouble. A quick check on social media confirmed he IS trouble. He's an over indulgent party guy while his family is currently in the middle of some scandal, rumored to be involved in illegal business.

She wanted to avoid him except he kept rudely interrupting her papa from approaching those guys who wore white with an intricate red emblem. Eventually, those men left and her papa is upset he never made a deal with them. Fiona was also upset on her papa's behalf and went to confront the carefree jerk... and he had the audacity to tell her her papa should be thanking him for saving him from the Supreme. Trust him, they ain't worth it. Yeah right, said the boy from the family burried in lawsuits. He condescendingly ruffled her head and left her but Fiona wouldn't let it go. So she followed him.

It turns out those Supreme guys knew Keagan interferred on purpose and were planning to rough him up a little. As a warning. Concerned, Fiona went to warn Keagan only to get roped in with him as she's now a witness. Well, that sucks. Keagan is annoyingly relaxed though, he's more surprised by her trying to warn him. What's with him trying to cover her with his jacket, though? To hide her face? So what??? She's still stuck here and the Supreme goons will beat them up or worse - that's when the mysterious vigilante in the black cat suit came and saved their sorry butts. And this became Fiona's introduction to the Resistance.

There, she learned what the Supreme is all about. She wants to help. The butterfly boss lady took one look at her and decided they've got their new ladybug.

In the Resistance as a Ladybug, Fiona was finally free to be who she is and made friends who accepted her for who she is... It made it harder and harder everyday to go back to being Fiona the Jewellry Princess. She finally found her calling.

in my canon my durge is a twin and i'm like,,,,,,the drama of "oops the thing i did to try and make sure i couldn't have kids didn't actually work, now i have twins who might try to slaughter each other like i murdered my sister. i didn't know of bc i was literally created to conquer the world or become breeding stock for those who would, so my body was literally meant to create broods"

so to explain i have this idea that, just in case Durge became a disappointment, Bhaal specifically made them so their body and mind would fulfill one of two purposes for him. Resist durge still has the body he sculpted. i don't really like the idea of "magicking a dick on them" and i like the idea of exploring the dawning horror that your body was made to very easily spawn your replacement in the case of your failure. so, shortened pregnancy, plus super easy to get pregnant.

and mercy knew when they were bhaal's chosen that they were expected to have more bhaalspawn, and early on they did smth to try and prevent that (think stupid, dumb child who sees logic but not thinking my father is a god who can just magic this back to normal)

and then having the twins and having horror flashbacks to baby's first duel and just the FEAR that history is doomed to repeat itself.

and like the birth would be so fucking easy like it would be comedically so. just like "wow i do not feel good today and--oops here is a baby" and the babies are dhampyrs so it took a long time bc of mr. undead not Mercy

and mercy and astarion should NOT be raising kids. they both know that. and mercy has a thought that they're ashamed of bc it's soooo old durge, but they're like "mercy killing them might be better" but they're also just like.....i can't actually kill these babies i'm no longer that monster

bc y'know, still having intrusive thoughts, it's just their CHOICE whether they listen, and there's no physical illness or other repercussions if they choose to ignore them thoughts.

and their options for what the fuck to do are actually very limited because family ??? DURGE ????? and like Astarion has his siblings in the underdark and on Mercy's side, they're officially adopted by Jaheira. That's their mom, now, and they know she's not the best mom to her actual kids she's raised, but like.

again. if the option is to be raised by Jaheiranor to be raised by Astarion "trudging through filth is for Pigs and Children" Ancunin and Mercy "I only have solid memories from the last several years and everything else is just death, destruction, and darkness" The Dark Urge, leaving them with the most qualified people to handle potential ticking time bombs of a blood thirsty nature, it's Jaheira.

also with sceleritas being there since Durge was an adolescent, I decided Mercy was pretty useless beyond basic survival skills because they aways had him to take care of them. They had to learn a lot in the months, even years following waking up on the nautiloid.

And they're both panicking bc what the fuck do you do. They don't even name the kids. Like they just pack their shit and head out without warning bc they will not take a "no it's urs"

Jaheira gets the twins at first while they're too young to try and kill each other. astarion and Mercy visit frequently with how easy it is to move around with magic, they just.

1. Gotta make that $$ to support them brats and adventuring makes that gold bc those two aren't going to get jobs are you fucking kidding me. They're gonna do heroic shit, get rewards, and rob horrible people blind. They would be doing most of this during infancy / toddler years to set up a nest egg and then decide they need to pitch in more and be more available so that they're always with one twin or the other when they anticipate they need to listen for the blood whispers.

2. With kids, there's a pressing need for Mercy to travel and learn everything they can about their heritage. So good intention, bad idea, motivated by fear. Just anything about the other bhaalspawn who resisted and how they manifest in ones not literally made from him

3. On a real note with Astarion I think he genuinely wouldn't have wanted kids, but with the circumstances (can't just drop two dhampyre bhaalspawn at at orphanage) are such he would step up when it was time. He would eventually become #1 girl dad to them both. Like he does NOT want anymore, but handling this will be barely a blip in their eternal lives they can go back to adventuring full time later.

I think at a certain point the one with the bhaalspawn blood inheritance would depart to start traveling with them bc I think that they would be solid with a ten year old. Like they wouldn't be best role models at times. And the curse still lingering in the tainted gore mercy was sculpted from was passed to one of the twins and their blood curse stirred. That one, they can't, in good conscience leave in case Bhaal has a stronger hold or not. Like Mercy would have to take on more responsibility there.

And Astarion just. Didn't want kids, but also this is one of those "this is a consequence of one of my free choices" thing. He wouldn't be HAPPY about it, and would complain when he was left alone with them, but be very, very good at handling them. He would become #1 girl dad (regardless of their gender) and he'd grow to love his wretched little brats.

And the one that stays with Jaheira needs astarion for counsel because dhampyr bloodlust. They don't have Bhaal's curse, but their sanguine hunger is far stronger, awakening early and becoming a hurdle that required assistance from the Gur to help keep it medicated enough to make this baby so feral bc that isn't who they are.

But that one has a really solid support system bc Astarion would take them to the underdark frequently and they would befriend one of the Gur children.

And like this one I think would feel like other sibling is favored, but it would be one of those things that just they realize baby thinks that and have to correct the mistake. Bc they'll be deeply imperfect but at least *try* with what little they can do to help.

And eventually they both do love the kids. And as adults the kids sometimes travel with them, but are supported in whatever endeavors they choose to embark on by the extended family that helped raise them to adulthood.

And then from kid perspective

I'm torn between either having them raised together OR separating them. Bc having a twin you can never meet (one could go to Leon and I have thoughts if I did that) for the foreseeable future

or

You were raised with your twin and love them so much but suddenly have to be ripped apart bc one keeps trying to kill the other (even tho the other doesn't have the curse, Bhaal just wants them to suffer).

also back to leon

i can see that going one of two ways. like that was the initial plan for one, but then him and the other vamp spawn sibs are like "you're just running away from shit again" but like make it dramatic bc i don't think they'd get along entirely right away. like they all have shit they did to each other bc they have resentments they gotta work through. i think there are siblings he'd get along with better than others, but the two i just cannot see him ever quite getting along with are Petras and Violet. Yousen would ONLy depend on if Yousen could forgive how awful and racist Astarion is lol

and like if Leon DID take the baby, I could see the bond he has with dhampyr baby as like. part of his healing journey. in NO way a replacement for victoria, he misses her every fucking day with everything he is, but raising this baby reminds him of the ONLY happy memories he has and he would kinda like to bask in them and it helps him separate those happy memories from the bad ones he suffered bc they all happened together

I've always been a fan of Hunger Games AUs that focus on people post games, where they have to try and find themselves and live with what they did on top of navigating the snakes nest of the Capitol.

I'll put this under a read more as to not clog up the dash.

General AU Stuff:

Most Hunger Games canon stays the same, however Hermitcraft canon gets mixed and mingled in there. Same way Mumbo was the youngest ever Hermit member to join at 17, in this he was the youngest victor to win at 12/13.

Their ages are the same as they are irl, since years have passed since they competed. No Children Here

Personally i am really fond of the idea of Evil Xisuma taking on the role of president snow - his legal name is Xisuma, but since Xisuma Void won everyone just calls him Evil Xisuma and victor Xisuma got to keep his name LMAO

Why Yes they overthrow the Capitol again. Frankly, with these people i don't think any other ending is possible.

With more character specific stuff though, i only have some that i have real concrete ideas for. I don't watch everyone so if people who do watch the ones i miss/have not much on have ideas i'd love to hear them!!

Bdubs:

From district 10, he was the one who lowkey revolutionized the games by winning using expert camouflage - a technique that was more finesse focused and less strength, something that what was not expected.

That gave a hell of a lot of hope to other tributes though in following games, and made the career districts hate him because it was 'cowardly'.

During his games he would always sleep at night, and due to the aforementioned skill was able to usually get a solid 8 hours. People poked fun at this during the post game interviews, and it became a running joke associated with him to the public.

Reality is though, that Bdubs knew that people fuck up the most when they're sleep deprived. District 10 has 19 thousand people and one million livestock. He Has Seen The Consequences Of Not Good Enough Sleep. Being better rested then everyone else on top of knowing how to go without food, keep hidden and let the others tear each other apart was how he won.

Cubfan:

From district 6 and dreams of using the vast amount of technology at their hands to actually venture out into space instead of like. working on fucking trains

Capitol often has him working in district 3 because he's "wasted" in district 6, which has Cub internally seethe.

Docm77:

From district 3 and frankly, he should not have survived his games. Literally won because his opponent bled to death faster than him.

His eye and arm were destroyed during that final fight, and his stylist thought it would be "fun" to make his prosthetics reminiscent of his district, without actually asking for his input on the matter.

As one of the older victors he had to deal with the Capitol back when there was less victors, and the Capitol was more than willing to subjugate the ones they had to their whims.

Yeah sorry your son got experimented on. yeah sorry they decided his games weren't memorable enough for a gimmick and decided his post games looks worked better. yeah sorry about that.

He deployed a ton of traps that would kill without him actually having to be there, and contraptions that would get him resources. Dude was constantly on the move, and was like a busy bee. The way he kept spectators on their feet at home, and generated massive amount of hype for what he did next, was the only reason the game makers let him do this shit.

His eye was injured but not wholly ripped out like Doc, so when his got repaired his stylist decided dying his iris red would be a fun reminder of his 'deadly gaze' :)

Unlike the others who try to distance themselves from the game, False usually tries to mentor. False knows she's capable and able - knows her district produces girls who fight exactly like her, so she's the best to tell them how to direct it.

Ho, ho, ho~! What a fun prompt you've given~ Thank you for giving me the excuse to ramble about the gender bend that I came up with for Alice since Jill was first introduced.

First of all, the male version of Alice is named Arthur King.

Yes, the pun is intentional. It's actually what made me decide on King as Alice's surname.

No, I will not apologize for my love of wordplay.

Speaking of puns and wordplay, the puppet Arthur had as a child instead of Honey Bunny was called Sir Hopsalot. (For my pals who need to use a translator, it's a play on "Hops a lot" and "Lancelot".) As you might expect, it was a bunny dressed as a knight, complete with a felt sword and shield. Eventually I will draw this adorable puppet and a model sheet for Arthur when I can draw again.

Arthur has some small differences between him and Alice, having grown up with a the AMAB societal pressures rather than the AFAB ones. Also certain experiences Alice faced won't apply to Arthur's life and vice-versa. Overall though, he's got generally the same likes/dislikes/personality as his female counterpart. He's still self-conscious about his size and appearance, but he also has added worries about his height on top of his weight. He, like Alice, is pretty short.

Oh, and while I'm at it, if Alice/Arthur was neither male nor female, their name would be Ace. Their puppet would probably be either Honey Bunny or Sir Hopsalot, depending on whether they were AMAB or AFAB since I don't think Ace would really realize their gender identity until they were much older.

Then again... I could just use this as an excuse to make a third, nonbinary bunny puppet.

Anyway, regardless of gender, Alice is still weak to Jack regardless of his gender. Jill is going to make Alice/Arthur/Ace just as flustered as Jack can.

On that note, since this is a pregnancy headcanon post, there's probably going to be talk of the baby making process and related kinks, so expect some of spicy bits. You can also check out a couple previous happy pregnancy headcanon posts here and here, which also get a bit spicy.

Arthur, like Alice would be keen to have a big family with a lot of kids with his partner, even if it was necessary to use a surrogate or adopt. I imagine Jill would be keen on having kids with her sunshine as well if at all possible.

As I mentioned in the previous headcanon posts, like Jack, I imagine Jill would only be able to get pregnant if her sunshine consents to it. If Arthur/MC isn't ready, it's not happening. Consent is a big part of the character of Jack/Jill after all.

As was mentioned on the official tumblr, Jack can touch and interact with things the more attached his sunshine is to him. "Interact" in the case of pregnancy AUs/headcanons would be, well, getting his sunshine pregnant. It would be the same thing if he were the one getting pregnant as Jill. Pregnancy is combining two peoples' DNA into a biological baby storage container, in a sense. If Jack can make get someone pregnant, then Jill can get impregnated.

Jack, as we've seen from comments made in both the demo and side-game, Sleepy Time Jack, has a heartbeat. He feels warm and solid to his sunshine. He can sweat, has spit, and is capable of producing semen, likely blood too. He has powers that normal ghosts don't possess, which is probably why he's called a ghost(?) on the store page. I think Jack is something more than a ghost, something with the potential to become every bit as real as his sunshine.

So, of course, this would apply to his gender bent counterpart. The more attached MC is to Jill, the more real she becomes. Arthur gets attached to Jill like Alice does to Jack. Jill becomes more and more real to Arthur and after a slow burn romance they fall in love. Once Arthur feels ready for it and is prepared with both money and his job security, he'll want to start having babies with his partner, which Jill would only be happy to do with him.

Arthur would be concerned whether Jill could get pregnant, but she would encourage him that they won't know until they try. Their love is powerful after all. It doesn't matter what the world thinks, all that matters is them and their love.

Oh, and FYI, Jill is still the more dominant one in the bedroom. Arthur, like Alice, is still easily flustered, and Jill is still sneaky and manipulative like Jack - with love of course. Still, Arthur tries his best to pleasure his partner and show lots of love just like Alice does.

Once Jill takes a pregnancy test and it turns out positive, Arthur is stunned, reeling, but so happy. He wants to lift up Jill and spin her around with joy, too choked up to speak, but he's not strong enough. Fortunately, she's got muscles and can spin him around easily.

Jill is not only stronger than Arthur, but taller too, which does leave him feeling self-conscious that he should be more of a "man" for his partner, but she makes sure that he knows he's perfect just the way he is. Men can be sensitive, soft, sweet, and kind too. They can be cuddly and loving and still be a man. After all, he doesn't think of her as less of a woman for being tall with muscles, does he?

Arthur, of course, would insist that's not the case. Jill is gorgeous, practically perfect. He'd fumble to admit that her muscles and height are actually a turn on. He's not into being crushed or choked, but being picked up by his strong partner is just so exciting, even if it makes him feel flustered.

Jill would be trying to still be the one trying to take charge most of the time, taking care of her sunshine, but Arthur would be insisting she rest more for the baby while he takes on the lion's share of the work. He might have gone through a depressed period where he struggled to take care of himself, but Jill helped him appreciate himself more, and he was prepared to step up as a father knowing he had to put lots of work into it. He would try to cook, clean, and help his partner handle any pregnancy cravings and issues that might arrive.

One big hurdle to overcome potentially, if Jill still can't be seen by others even while pregnant, is medical care. They have to take care of her and the baby's health all by themselves. That means researching what nutrition is needed for the baby, what signs to look out for, and generally handle it on their own. Arthur will even have to be the one to deliver the baby, since he's the only one who can, and you bet your ass he'll be studying hard on how to do it right.

Naturally, there would be questions where the baby came from, but that would be something that they would be prepared to handle ahead of time. This pregnancy would only happen after they both had many discussions about it and plans for what they're going to do about the various issues that might come up. Documents can be faked, and Arthur has a big family as well as a few trusted friends who he told about Jill, so they're not alone in this.

Giving birth would hit Jill just as hard as it would Jack, maybe even harder since she would be getting the full force of the pregnancy hormones rather than just some spill over. Their baby looks just like her, or rather just like Josephine, right down to the mole. It would generate a lot of intense emotions, but Arthur would be there to support her and comfort her. There's also the extended family who would be helping support the two with the new baby, even if they can't see Jill.

Jill is at bigger risk of post-partum depression if she still can't be seen after giving birth. Sure, she can talk to other people besides Arthur through writing or passing a message through him, but she's going to be extra needy and clingy with her sunshine. It's something that Arthur would have worried about happening, so he would be extra supportive and attentive to her needs.

Oh, also, since it's something of a tradition in these happy pregnancy posts, there's definitely going to be a lot of pregnancy body worship. Arthur is going to be wanting to cuddle and touch the baby in Jill's belly and letting her know he's so happy that she's carrying their child. He's going to do all he can to make sure she feels loved and appreciated for doing something as demanding as pregnancy and birth.

Also, on a spicier note, Jill is going to encourage Arthur to get a sample of her milk as soon as she's lactating. He's going to struggle to admit it, but he is curious for a taste and when he does, well... he definitely is into the kink. It becomes a regular thing after that, and I'm sure with her powers she'll be able to make sure her sunshine and their baby get plenty of love to drink.

Really, considering we don't know the limits of Jill's supernatural abilities, she might have the ability to lactate even before getting pregnant. Heck, since it's likely that sunshine has summoned her to begin with and is likely responsible for her body existing in the first place, it might be possible for Alice to get Jill pregnant just by them both wanting it. Jack seems to be able to conjure up new outfits after all, like his pajamas and robe, after all, and we still are wondering where the blueberries for the pancakes came from...

Though, to be honest, I suspect that Jack's plan is to eventually be every bit as real as his sunshine, which means Jill would have the same goal. It's entirely possible that by the time Jill and Arthur are committing to expanding their family by having children, other people would be able to see the happy mother-to-be walking around hand in hand with her sunshine for all to see.

it's a time travel au, where the asl bros end up on Gol D Roger's ship. Ace is trying to commit patricide, Sabo is trying to be the reasonable one and Luffy is... Luffy. Everybody is having a rough time of it and auuugggg the angst of being reunited but knowing you have changed so much and what if you don't know them anymore and what if you are no longer the person they loved and AHHHH go read it!! Read it now!!!

Chasing the remnants by @29rynoah sabo goes with dragon to loguetown! This one moves a little slower than the others in terms of how long it takes for the characters to actually be reunited, but the writing is really good!! The payoff when they finally get to see each other again? The character work? Incredible, 40k and I know I said it moves slower but when I was reading it I swear it only felt like 10k

Okay, I know I'm a big proponent of platonic lawlu and I cannot see Luffy in any kind of romantic relationship I really can't- however some people are writing really good lawlu and I am a little bit closing my eyes and saying yes it is queerplatonic. To me.

It is HEAVY ANGST and Spooner I know I'm making this list for you but it will HURT YOU and you may not want to read it, the ASL bros may be alive but they were the only survivors after a buster call was made on goa, and everyone else on the island died, and everyone believes the trio to be dead for a very long time

But if you do decide to read this fic which will hurt you, the emotional catharsis at the end is REALLY GOOD!! and there are many more short stories in the universe!!

But if this all seems a bit too ouch, the this author has a different, more light hearted series: Luffy was raised as a marine and makes it everyone's problem, which is a fun good time where Luffy knows marine codes and uses them to save ace, among other things

Hello!!! Thank you I love this one (even if it's a mess <3) I started writing this one while stoned, and wrote some sober and then high again etc. That's mainly why it's a mess, I definitely do my best work while sober!!! LMAO This is another thing that's very different from my usual, but I really enjoy it! It's a College AU, maybe set in like the 90's? Or late 80's? I forget if I did a slight modernization or not (It's been forever since I touched this doc) From the beginning: (contains: Weed, the most obnoxious phone call of Steve's LIFE. Also Devin is Unnamed Freak from CC)

Steve's dealer is a weird fucking guy.

He knows enough about how buying drugs works to know that this isn't rare, that he should expect it and roll with it, but he's met weird stoners before. Hell, his last guy back in Hawkins had been strange, making Steve drive all the way to his place by the lake everytime he wanted to buy.

But this guy, he's eccentric.

His new dormmate Devin reccommended him when he was complaining about the dwindling supply that he'd managed to sneak in from when he stocked up over the summer. The drive outside of town meant he usually bought in bulk, and figured he had enough to last him until the first holiday he made it back home.

Of course, it's not like he'd done the math, or planned for his second year at college to be so fucking brutal.

So he ran out of weed and the dormmate he feels so neutrally about that he keeps a running tally in his mind to try to tip the scales of his opinion one way or another did him a solid and gave him the number of a guy he's in a band with.

Steve didn't know he was in a band until then, and wonders if that goes on the Cool! or the Not Cool :( side of his list.

He's down to one last joint when he decides he should be more proactive, should always have something to calm his nerves if he's gonna make it through this semester, and calls the guy on a Wednesday evening.

He's grateful that he and Devin went halfsies on a phone line in the room, sharing the number but still a lot more private than calling from a payphone, doubly so when the guy answers the phone with -

"Hello hello! You've reached Munson's Mysterious and Magical Medicinals!"

It's so loud he pulls the phone away from his ear, frowning at it as the ear side buzzes. It grates on him and he considers hanging up, but he thinks about having to wait to get more weed until Thanksgiving, if he even bothers with going this year, and sighs.

"Hello?" He asks, wincing in anticipation as he brings the phone close enough to speak into it, keeping his voice at a polite volume.

"To whom am I speaking with?" Calls the loud voice, quieter than before but still making the phone buzz.

"Devin gave me this number," he replies, nose scrunching up in a grimace.

He doesn't even usually mind loud people, his best friends are often loud enough that whenever they're in public someone actually comes up and says something about it.

"Ah, my lovely assistant Devin! Such a Marvellous Miracle of Man!"

He's considering sealing his fate and slamming the phone down when he realizes that if he doesn't need to go back to Rick's for weed, he doesn't need to go back to Hawkins for Thanksgiving at all. He can claim his workload is too heavy this year and that he'll be home for Christmas and hope his parents decide that he's finally making them proud.

His workload is heavy, not that he plans on doing anything about that when the long weekend shows up.

So he kind of needs this guy, at least until he can find someone else.

"…Right."

"What can I do you for?" He's changed up his accent, instead of a wizard type of thing he goes for 1950's gangster, getting Steve's hackles up even more.

"Weed?"

"Weeee've got Weed! Wonderful Wacky and Whimsical Weed, you name it we've got it, delivered right to your door!" He changes again, now sounding like he's announcing the new Monster Jam, and if Steve had no self preservation he'd point out that he should've enjoyed a 'Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday!' in his stupid sentence. That also starts with 'W'.

"…Cool."

He's honestly struggling to reply to him, wonders if he can just ask him to drop the act and let him get through this transaction before the semester ends.

"Look's Like we've got a Laconic Lad on our hands, Ladies and Loiterers!"

Steve's sigh is so deep that he thinks there might be cobwebs spitting out of his mouth right now. He rests his head against the wall and gives himself another little peptalk, trying to remember the carrot to the stick of this conversation.
