My veins might be too small to donate plasma lmfao
#I was wondering why my arm hurt so much after the first attempt… apparently that’s not normal#The needle they use for plasma is bigger than the one they use for blood#because it would “shred the red blood cells” if they used one smaller#Interesting#I do have abnormally thin arms for my weight and height so I’m not surprised that the veins are tiny#All my weight is in my legs#Maybe that’s why my hands and feet are freezing cold all the time… maybe my circulation is bad because my veins are so tiny#(I am talking out of my ass)

#mine#origami#manticore#RED#what a lovely sendoff to this red wax pastel.... completely different feeling depending on your screen I'm afraid.#for me it's sharingan levels of hurt on mobile and almost disappointingly orange on desktop.#do switch around your devices for the complete manticore experience.#this is adapted from a winged lion model by Mauricio Flórez Pinzón#I'll make a post with a link and some photo resources#basically the only changes needed was a modification of the tail and a bit of unfriendlyness added to the mane#his was more inspired by st marc's lion i imagine#too much of a cherub vibe for my purpose#otherwise absolutely excellent model#very easy collapsing#GREAT weight distribution: despite my moving the tail to the center and the head being pretty voluminous is still stands on its 4 legs#i had no problem of the model opening up and flattening itself or anything#and there are plenty of sculpting possibility#all the while the shape is pretty understandable already from the collapsed model

Finally watching Smile 2, I'm a little over halfway through and I'm not sure that I'm liking it quite as much as the first one. It's very good still! Very freaky, I love the cinematography and the elevated levels of mind-fuckery. But I feel like the first one had a much tighter grasp on the mental illness angle, in regards to the symbolism.
#smile movie#smile 2#the entity is tormenting skye and making her look bad (trashing her dressing room/making her panic and yell at her dancers) but—#i liked the first one because the entity was much less involved and ROSE was the one ruining her OWN relationships#it's supposed to be a metaphor for how unprocessed trauma can rot you and eat at you#and the scene where skye thinks that she broke her leg again on stage is a really good example of that!#but the entity shouldn't have played with skye's mind to make her late. skye should have been late due to her own short comings#in the first smile rose systematically ruins all of her relationships (which were shaky to begin with thanks to that unprocessed trauma lol)#and idk. i just. like that better from a writing stand point#it feels like every decision has weight rather than the plot just shuffling you from one scary scene to the next#but maybe my opinion will change when i am done with the movie!! we'll see :3

so I've been learning how to animate in Unreal Engine for work. I found a pack of free animal assets available in the marketplace and thought they'd be fun to practice with so I slapped a good ol' wolf in my project.
When you download characters from the Unreal marketplace, they generally come with a skeletal mesh (a digital model bound to an internal skeleton but no controls) and some pre-made animations that can be loaded onto it so that you can use the character in your game without having to animate it yourself. I downloaded the wolf for the purpose of learning to make a control rig (so taking that skeleton and adding controllers to easily drive it for animation, like a puppet), so I wasn't planning on actually using any of the default animations, but I decided to take a look at some of them anyways just for funsies and HAHA WOW THEY WERE BUTT-UGLY so I took it upon myself to remake some once I got my control rig up and running whoop
honestly i don't even consider these all that polished but compared to those default options? yeah good enough lol

i am okay but very fatigued and sleeping a lot ��� i didnt go to the emergency room but im staying at my parents for a few days incase they need to drive me to the hospital

Update on my golem workouts:
I'm getting way more of a sleeper build but honestly that's my goal. You'd have no clue my thighs are built unless I flexed them which is kind of freaky lmaooo
If I could be a security guard but only at shuls, I would heavily consider it. I'd take tips/payment in pastries, but specifically anything that's lemon-flavored 🤤

so part of the reason the deal on the kilns was worth breaking a leg for is that there were included in the frankly Absurdly low price. So we're about 50 more we didn't get bc I fell and ~got severely injured~ and we'll be going back for them on Saturday. mostly so I can give the guy "sorry for getting blood on your shed floor and taking two days to get everything" cookies.
The extra extra bonus is that part of the reason this stuff was cheap is the sheer number of mud dauber nests in and on them.
