l banchiere di origine alsaziana Albert Kahn (1860-1940), nato e cresciuto in un periodo difficile come quello della guerra franco-prussiana, sognò un mondo di pace. La sua utopia lo spinse a mettere in piedi un progetto quasi folle e impensabile che oggi è diventato patrimonio mondiale per il suo enorme valore ed è conservato nel museo a lui dedicato a Boulogne-Billancourt (Parigi).
