Today I became a dad of two again and I’m filled with so much joy I can’t believe this became a reality 😭

Fantti is a 4,5 year old German shepherd who was matched to me by my dear friend. Fantti needed a home and I have both that and all the love in the world to give him ❤️

The best part is that both me and Aino have known Fantti for some time now, so bringing him home was super easy; it was like we come home together every day, so familiar and mundane. He’s such a good and well behaved boy I’m so proud of him and I’m also very proud of Aino for being such a good sport and accepting him to her home right away. 🥹

I can’t wait for all the adventures we’ll share together— you came into my life just the right time and this feels like it was meant to be. Life has been extremely rough and depressing for a long time, but now I feel like we three are gonna be alright ❤️

Sure, Anon.

Finland’s human name is Aino Lemmikki Järvinen, with Aikkuli as her nickname, and their pronouns are they/she. Aino identifies as a woman, but doesn’t see the point in gendered pronouns (as they don’t exist in the Finnish language.) but after centuries of knowing Swedish, they don’t mind being called feminine pronouns.

Aino is a sweet woman, though they can come across as very rude if you’re meeting them for the first time. She is shy, doesn’t speak unless spoken to, and even then sometimes might not reply if she doesn’t want to. They strongly dislike small talk, and will immediately feel suspicious if it goes on for too long. They’re also not one to jump into a conversation, preferring to wait until it is their turn to speak, and when they do speak they can be very blunt, which can sometimes come across as being mean. Still, when Aikkuli actually knows you, you’ll find she can actually be a bit of a chatterbox, if the subject matter is right. This does mean, however, that they can have a very hard time making new friends, so she can sometimes seem a bit clingy towards those she’s closest to, Estonia being the prime example.

They have both softer hobbies, like birdwatching, long walks and fishing, but they also have a more reckless side, and is a bit of an adrenaline junkie. They love ice hockey, racing cars as fast as they can, and they also ride a motorcycle. Aino also adores animals, they’re a bit of a bird nerd, but they also love bears a lot, and really every animal under the sun. She actually has a pet dog, a Finnish Lapphund, who’s called Lumi, which means “Snow” in Finnish.

There’s absolutely more to her, and this doesn’t even really scratch the surface. However, I don’t want to make this post too long, and i really struggle sometimes with their character, so it can be hard to just write about them. I still much appreciate the question, I’m actually pretty shy and nervous about sharing Finny, so it’s really lovely that you’ve taken in interest in them. 💕

Starting with a caveat: I'm not gonna do the last ten, as eight of them were for AI-less Whumptober and part of my challenge to myself for that is to not end up with something that turns into yet another (short) multichapter fic that ends up on the backburner, so they're mostly shorter, self-contained things in medias res. My first realization: I haven't gotten as much writing done this year as I might have liked (the last few are from the end of 2023). Though things like AI-less Whumptober are helping with that... if I can keep it up. 🤣

But I do seem to like starting with dialogue regardless (though #7 doesn't *quite* count in my book, as that line/opening comes from Stormbreaker, though I did choose to start there, so... 🤡).

I guess I also tend to use shorter sentences for first sentences, which is a surprise to me since I'm pretty sure my sentences tend to ramble on forever in general like me (like #3).

Hello. Since you're writing about Sailor Moon, how Rei, Ami, Minako and Makoto would react on the fact that their S/O is actually a monster (youma or something like that), who prefer to coexist with humans and study them instead of following their masters orders?

Warnings: Angst, Lying to a Partner, Implied Betrayal, Angst with a Happy Ending, Canon Typical Violence

Rei Hino:

It’s going to take a lot for Rei to forgive you. She’s furious that you would hide something this big from her and is half convinced you’ve been dating her just to get close to the other scouts. You assure her that it’s not the case and if you beg a little she’s more likely to take pity on you.

After she gets time to cool down and think, there’s going to be a lot of words exchanged. Rei doesn’t want to break up but she’s nervous about letting things progress. Assure her that you still care about her and bring some treats as a bribe and it’ll end on a positive note.

Things move slowly after you tell Rei that you’re a youma. The two of you still go on dates but it takes a couple of months for things to go back to normal 100%. Rei does her best to not make a big deal out of it but sometimes it’s hard. Be patient with her but also make sure to stand up for yourself; sometimes she needs to be reminded that you do care for her.

Ami Mizuno:

Ami is the one to take reveling that you’re a youma the best. She’s not happy, don’t get her wrong, but she understands why you hadn’t been willing to talk to her about it. She still feels the sting of betrayal but she’s more willing to hear your side of the story.

She finds it endearing that you want to coexist with humans. She likes the idea that you just want to live in harmony with everyone; that’s what she wants too. Ami wants to have a serious discussion about your relationship and what you want out of it but mostly she’s happy that you’re not evil.

Nothing changes except that she worries sometimes about you being found out. Right now you’re considered a rouge agent and she never wants you to get hurt by associating with her. Ami does her best to keep you away from the fighting and you support her as much as you can.

Minako Aino:

Minako is the one who takes the news best after Ami. She believes that you would never hurt her but she is worried about the other scouts. It’s a tougher battle to get her to acknowledge that you aren’t going to put anyone at risk by being together. Communication between the two of you is spotty, with Minako trying to figure out her emotions.

Things are rocky until the scouts get attacked and you save them. The blatant way that you defend them and ignore the direct orders you’re given convince everyone that you’re serious about Minako and your words. You get hurt saving them and no one can try to say you’re not on their side.

Minako is taking care of you as you recover, showering you with affection and love. There are private conversations that happen when no one else is there but her public persona is on when you have company. She feels guilty that she didn’t believe you, even if you understand. Just let her pamper you a little bit and all will be well.

Makoto Kino:

She torn between being furious and taken advantage of, settling for somewhere in the middle with a wounded puppy dog look. It’s not great to upset Makoto, mostly because she tends to internalize it. Not that anyone would guess but after dating her for so long, you’ve been able to figure out the signs.

She won’t know what to do if you approach her so let her process things in her own time. Makoto has complicated feelings about you hiding yourself but she also understands on some level. You know that everything is going to be ok when she bursts into your house a week later, panting as if she’s just run a marathon. She’ll declare that she forgives you and then everything is pretty much back to normal.

Makoto will defend you if people try to bring up that you tried to betray her. She gets annoyed that people want to bring it up, the past is the past. You never betrayed her and she knows that you’re not going to.  It’s flattering to have her in your corner and you could watch her defend you forever.

Revised Jumpcahin Companion Stand Listing

Primarily from a single player CYOA/RP format called Jumpchain. It is about serial crossover travel. The player or Jumper can gain powers and characters. Many of these names and their relationships will be familiar but some have deviated from canon but developed for the better too.



The main character’s a self insert referred to as Jumper or The Jumper and eventually gets abilities to transfer and alter Stands. I ruled perfect transfers are nigh impossible or risky so some changed.



Benefactor is a Jumpchain term. A common conceit is you are contracted by a Ambiguous/Amoral Random Omnipotent Being to entertain it for a decade at a time in each setting. After that it moves you as a Quantum Leap, Reincationation to awaken at a certain age, or ISOT'd to next link on or off chain

Finally, spoken aloud, the final Stand name is a reference to Donnie Darko. Also mitre, a bishop hat. I don't think, there is comet named or associated with it. Or an ersatz child surburban dance troupe.

Comparing their positions in this and the church scene from before, it looks as if Minako hasn't moved an inch, but Rei's moved a bunch. lol

LOL REI CAN YOU BE ANY LESS OBVIOUS IN TRYING TO CHECK MINAKO OUT????? Also, who does that magazine belong to??? It's so conveniently placed in the same room facing the girls. And how as the pastor/priest and Minako both not noticed it before, it's basically in their line of sight the moment they aren't looking at the dog in the previous scene?

(I took some time to google the difference between a pastor and a priest, and just gave up. I'm gonna stick with the pastor for now.)

The moment Rei exclaimed something similar to "eureka", you can see Minako's expression morphed into a neutral expression, loosing it's earlier warmth and her gaze subtly cautious. Minako also tracks Rei's movement the whole time as Rei picked up the magazine. It's clear there's a sense of anticipation in Minako's behavior.

Also, it's very interesting to read what the magazine headlines and captions says. The biggest headlines "愛野 美奈子失踪" proclaim "Minako's is missing", and the small black text beside Minako "一部では病気說も..." translates to "Some refer to it as an illness...". The small black text kinda makes sense but also not? It's probably is a generala speculation that Minako's sick but not an actual quote from Minako?

It's cute that Rei brought up the magazine as a means to acknowledge why she recognized Minako but made no attempt to read anything that's plastered on it. Like did she not realize the girl proclaimed to be "missing" was now present in front of her? The irony between the magazine headline and what's happening in this scene. LOL

I've always found Minako's reaction so interesting. I gif-ed it so we can see all the different emotions that seem to have come through her before she landed on amusement and teased Rei. There seems to be a mix of disappointment yet relief that Rei didn't bring up her Senshi persona, then landed on the amusement that Rei didn't even recognize "idol Aino Minako". So unlike her meeting with Usagi, where she wanted Usagi to make hints about the past life stuff and so much more.

The interesting thing is the "disappointment", where did it come from? Given all we've seen in this episode so far, it sets the audience up to realize Minako's chosen path is a heavy and lonely one. Rei's also the psychic on the team, was Minako hoping Rei recognizes her as Venus???? Clearly, in Act 11 & 12 Minako never wanted even Usagi to recognize Minako as the idol, so it can't be that. So what's with the complex response and mix signals that Minako's sending?
