Anyway, let me throw out some more things I liked about this chapter of Glass. I did 1 already so
2. Wilbur getting the tattoo, in general everything about it. But also the way it’s balanced against the present to make us wonder if he actually got it, and if so, where? Also, the constant fear of where or not it would get found.
3. Wilbur’s ‘escape’ is very well thought out and set up. Jumping out of a car is something they can do and have video evidence off without putting anyone in danger and it’s just plausible enough to work.
4. SCHLATT 10/10 I hate his ass. I hope Wilbur gets to give him a piece of his mind before they kill him off. “My Pythia” can I hit him? Can I please? There was no need to come for our throats like this. Not to mention him being generally more concerned about how to find the Deathlings than happy that his Pythia is back. Like he clearly does not give a shit (because he never listened anyway). But now he does realise the Deathlings are a threat (unlike at the ball) and he wants them gone.
5. That one priest(ess?) the tension of Wilbur needing to get to his room as fast as possible + not wanting to get checked out because then the tattoo will be found. The dehuminasation. What the hell! “I shall pray for the Vessel” you did not have to slap me in the face like that. I literally sat there staring at my screen for a full 30 seconds. What the fuck.
6. I love Wilbur immediately going to find the most normal, comfortable clothes he can find. He’s been introduced to nice sweaters and he’s never letting go. More importantly: he leaves the blindfold he had and cashes in on a bunch of other blindfolds. I’m sure there’s a methaphore in there somewhere. He leaves the blindfold that gave him and Tommy away, the one he took of to curse Tommy. The one that’s been with him all this time. And he grabs a bunch of new ones. He’s starting over. But more importantly. He’s going to stay with the Deathlings, that’s his plan. He’s still scared of the curse. Still believes in it. But he’s taking those blindfolds with him and leaving every other part of the Pythia behind.
7. Again we’ll thought out plan. Hide stuff in the shoes. It’s believable. And one is to let Tubbo hack in. The other is to help cause a distraction. And of course Tommy comes straight for Wilbur. Of course he comes and gets him himself. That’s literally his only priority. Get Wilbur back safely. And I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the Wholesome Uber conversation and calling each other brothers is setting us up for heartbreak. Those boys are getting traumatised.
Speaking of which 8. The brother’s conversation in the flashback. I almost forgot about that one (I’m doing this all from the top of my head, so you can tell how much my writing lives in there rent free). They did actually claim each other as brothers. Oh I’m gonna have to reread that scene now.
And then there’s 9. The tattoo, Tommy’s one in this case. Which is more consequences kinda. Or lack thereof. Is a physical remind that Wilbur tried to kill Tommy. It shows how far they’ve grown. It’s permanent and can never be undone. It’s forgiving things that shouldn’t be forgiven because that’s how Tommy is (which now that I think about it, is also why he doesn’t get that Jack’s still mad at him, because Too y would probably have forgiven him if it was the other way around even though he shouldn’t).
That concludes my ramble. I kinda hope we get a Wilbur-Schlatt conversation. Wilbur screaming that his name is Wilbur at someone. And if Eret betrays them because they don’t want to let go of the advantage of having a Pythia (looking at [redacted] with the steel chair) I will scream. Same with Niki or Jack trying to kill Tommy as revenge. I will scream. I will stop reading to come scream at you Bee. I swear I will. Anyway, have fun laughing at me when you read this, I’ll go try and be productive now.
-🌲
yesss that was one of the reasons I really wanted to do the past/present flipping because I wanted to open up the question in the readers minds of 'did he actually get the tattoo?' so we can get that buildup to the moment when it happens for real
lol thank you ngl I knew the deathlings were going to fake an escape with wilbur but I didn't actually decide what that fake escape was going to be until i literally wrote that chapter and I was like yeah ok this makes sense
I have so much fun writing glass!schlatt he's such a bastard. the "my pythia" line was soooo bone chilling
the priest (I decided all acolytes of clara are just called priests regardless of gender, idk why) interaction was one i barely had planned and I really love how it turned out. she genuinely means well but she's so embedded in the pythian institution that she doesn't really how fucked up what she's saying is. and up until recently, wilbur didn't realize that either. now that he's grown to understand how fucked all that stuff is it hurts so much worse to hear things like that.
wilbur never even liked the super fancy clothes to begin with but now that he's been introduced to comfy sweaters and jeans and sweatpants he never wants to go back. and yeah for one thing I wanted him to finally replace that old worn out blindfold he's been wearing for months on end, but also him grabbing several does show his intent. he's not planning on coming back to the palace. he wants to stay with the deathlings and has already made that choice. he leaves behind the more opulent blindfold. the one that he was wearing at the ball, dressed up with all the frills and glamour of the pythian institution, and replaces it with a simpler one. it's still not exactly reflective of who he is, but it's closer.
very glad the whole hiding stuff in his shoes bit was believable i was trying sooo hard to make the whole thing feel like a realistic plan that could work and wasn't just a "don't think about it too hard" kind of thing.
of course tommy was going to be the one to get him. who else would it be? it's always been tommy. he's the one who got wilbur out of the palace the first time, and he's going to get him out of the palace again. so glad you enjoyed the uber conversation :) definitely nothing bad will happen from here :))
they claimed each other as brothers finally!! wilbur finally has family for the first time in his whole life <3
yuppp I knew from the start tommy was going to get a tattoo of wilbur's murder attempt. even though it's been forgiven, even though it shouldn't have been forgiven so easily, it can't be forgotten. it's there forever inked on tommy's skin. a reminder of who wilbur used to be. a reminder of what his desperate devotion to clara drove him to.
:) I think you're going to like the next chapter spruce

hey y’all take these cutely ❤️;
• for their entire friendship, tommys always been more vocally protective of tubbo. it doesn’t matter who it would be, if anyone looked at his best friend wrong he’d already be starting a fight or provoking them in some way for tubbo’s honor. it wasn’t something that was hidden; he’d always get himself in some sort of trouble on tubbo’s behalf, like a fucking dumbass, and tubbo’s always had to get him out of these situations he’d put himself into- he’d gotten so used to seeing tommy put himself in danger that that over the years tubbo vowed to himself that he’d be the one to save tommy, if he ever really got into too much trouble; that’s kind of where it all started.
• any fight that tommy would impulsively get himself into, tubbo would always be following right behind. it didn’t matter what intimidation tactics tommy used against the people he was fighting; it would always be tubbo just standing silently behind him with a fucking death glare that’d eventually get them to back off.
• tubbo always teases tommy for not letting him have other friends, & he likes to act like he doesn’t mind if tommy has any other close friends, but if anyone refers to themself as tommys “best friend” all fucking hell breaks loose.
SOMEBODY; so anyway, yeah, i’d consider tommy one of my best friends-
TUBBO, taking out a crossbow; it’d be so easy for me to shoot an arrow directly into your fucking eye :).
• a few days after the first festival, when tubbo & tommy were both in pogtopia, tommy wouldn’t let tubbo anywhere near techno. he, rightfully, hadn’t forgotten about the execution, but tubbo hadn’t forgotten about the pro scene; he hadn’t forgotten that he’d had to watch what techno did to his best friend because he was too injured to help. so, the days in pogtopia were spent w/ tommy “protecting” tubbo from techno but it was really just tubbo standing behind tommy w/ a large axe whenever techno got too close.
TECHNO; hey, tommy, i’m—
TUBBO, pointing an axe directly at his throat: get a step closer and i’ll chop off your head :]
TECHNO: i—
TECHNO: i literally publicly executed you??
• i feel like tubbo’s always had a relatively high pain tolerance, so whenever he’s gotten injured he’s always been quick to brush it off w/ a quick “lol it’s fine” but whenever tommy got the slightest bit injured he’d always freak out. he wouldn’t leave tommys side for hours & he’d constantly be asking him if he’s okay- constantly be wearing of touching him too aggressively. he’s always been a mother hen, but whenever tommys hurt it’s always turned up.
• speaking of tubbo being a mother hen, he frequently gets stressed over the impulsive things tommy does. he doesn’t like the fact that tommy doesn’t seem to think- doesn’t seem to worry about his own personal safety before he does things, & he’s always berating him if he does something impulsive. once again, he’s always been worried over tommys safety- he’s always prioritized it over his own. ((hint hint; him being willing to die for tommy if it meant he got the disks back & was happy.)) after the duel w/ dream in the first war, tubbo didn’t talk to him for a couple days, stubbornly avoiding him because of the fact that he lost a life in that fucking duel. that’s the first time they’ve ever really fought.
• after tommy comes back from exile, tubbo’s clinginess/mother henning/protectiveness comes back tenfold. he’s sort of always anxiously checking up on tommy and seeing if he’s okay, & there isn’t a second where he isn’t by the boys side, leading up to doomsday; he’s always standing right besides him and holding his hand, making sure he’s real constantly- that he isn’t fake, that he isn’t just hallucinating this.
• even after doomsday, tubbo’s constantly checking up on him, even if he’s in snowchester. he’s constantly messaging him w/ his communicator, asking for updates about the hotel, if he’s okay, if he’ll ever actually come & visit snowchester. tommy rolls his eyes whenever he see his messages and fondly calls him a “mother hen”, but he appreciates the concern.
• after sam & tommy started getting closer, tubbo actually took it upon himself to give sam the “shovel talk” when tommy wasn’t around. and it was funny because it’s just this 5’6 little kid staring down this 6’7 half-creeper hybrid w/ a trident.
SAM; oh, hey tubbo! it’s good to see you—
TUBBO; if you do anything to tommy, i’ll kill you and your entire family.
SAM: i—
SAM, who was planning to adopt him too: ,,...right
• also, tubbo frequently talks about tommy in snowchester. most of the time it’s just him complaining about how he hasn’t been around/complaining about him in general, but if anyone else talks badly about tommy he immediately snaps his head around and goes “what the Fuck did you say”
• also, when he was under schlatt’s administration, schlatt had a habit of talking bad about the past citizens of l’manberg- particularly, tommy & wilbur. it doesn’t matter what they’d be talking about, the conversation about the previous president & vice would always be brought up, and whenever schlatt would start talking about tommy in a bad way tubbo wouldn’t fucking have it.
SCHLATT; and tommy. honestly, i cant tell if he’s a normal kid or if he’s just wilburs rabid lap dog—
TUBBO; don’t say that about him.
SCHLATT; i— i’m sorry, tubbo?
TUBBO; you can talk bad about anyone else, but don’t ever talk bad about tommy. not in front of me.
SCHLATT; ...
QUACKITY, in the distance; yo that’s the fucken president you’re talking to 🧍🏼
• also, tubbo’s always sort of have this unspoken pettiness when it comes to phil. it isn’t obvious —and, he doesn’t voice it often— but he’s well aware of how phil used to treat tommy, & he’s always held a grudge against him for it. it doesn’t matter what it is; whether it be murmuring little petty comments about him under his breath and disguising it with a cough, or it’d be making snide little remarks and covering it up with a smile, he’d sort of always be coming for phil in some way. tubbo had a game in his mind for how many times he could subtlety come for that man’s shit parenting
PHIL; yeah, and my sons—
TUBBO; your sons? i’m sorry, i thought you only had one.
PHIL; wha-what?
TUBBO; i thought wilbur was your only son. y’know, given how you treat tommy half of the time :].
PHIL: i’m...
FUNDY, in the background; oooooh

So, I once made a post about c!Tommy and c!Dream’s relationship throughout season 1 (which you can find here), but today I was thinking, why not do the same for the Exile Arc?
There are some people that still don’t seem to have a comprehensive idea of what actually went down during that time (either because they joined the fandom afterwards or haven’t watched it at the time) so I’ll try to do that here. I’ll cover the first 2 streams here, and then continue in the next part because this is gonna be way too damn long otherwise...
As always I’ll be talking only about the characters and the roleplay from here on out and also I’ll be touching on some very heavy topics under the cut (such as gaslighting and abuse). Also this is gonna be another one of my Overly Long Analysis, so... you know... be warned of that.
I’ll be going through this vod by vod, so It will be so long... God why do I always do this to myself?
Let’s start with TommyInnit Is Exiled From The Dream SMP... which is the vod when Tommy actually get’s exiled.
So, the exile scene per se has been covered a 100 times over, but, right after Tubbo asking Dream to “please detain and excort Tommy out of my country” Dream yeets Tommy off the walls and then he immediately establishes the general idea of how it’ll be in exile: “I don’t think you wanna die Tommy. You need to- to listen to me”.
Also it is to be noted that in this “exile” time and time again Dream establishes arbitrary rules that were most certanly not meant in the initial sentence (which is why it’s much more of a kidnapping then an actual exile). Starting from before they even leave L’Manburg completely. In fact when they are still in the vc with the others and still just down from the obsidian walls, Tommy and Dream have this exchange:
“Do I have any time to speak words? What can...” “NO. NO. NO. NO!” “what the...”
And then right after (just after leaving the vc):
“Do you have food?” “Yeah...” “Good, we’ll be going a long while still” “Am I not allowed- well surely- surely I’m only exiled from L’Manburg-” “Oh, no no no. You’re exiled from everywhere that’s been touched”
The sentence was only for him to be exiled from L’Manburg. Dream theoretically only had authority over the Greater Dream smp in any case, so how come immediately Tommy’s “sentence” becomes being exiled from “everywhere that has been touched”? What authority did Dream have to exile him from the Badlands? Or the Holy Grounds (considering those are widely considered neutral)?
This is from right after Ghostbur joins them:
“Well, I don’t- I don’t have to come with you” “Well, I mean, I’ll kill you” (...) "I don’t have to follow you! I don’t-” “Tommy! Then I’ll just kill you. What happens if I kill you?” “I die...”
Again, technically Tubbo only asked Dream to escort Tommy out of his country, not all the way to his place of exile. Tommy here is right, he is exiled, he is not supposed to have a jailor going with him, he is not supposed to be imprisoned. All he supposedly had to do was get off the lands he wasn’t allowed into and then he’d be good. Of course Dream’s plans were different there.
Also the trend of constantly undermining anything Tommy is feeling at any given moment sure doesn’t stop with the Exile Arc!
“No, no! I don’t want to head anywhere! I wanna to go back! I wanna go back!” “Fine fine, we’ll head this way then. It’s fine, this is fine” “I don’t wanna go!” “Tommy come on...”
Honorable mention to Dream talking about the first time he exiled Tommy:
“Do you remember- this is actually funny! Do you remember the first time you ever joined the server? And uhm... you got exiled? By me?” “Yeah?” “It’s kinda like that, except now if you don’t listen you die”
And the conditioning begins all the way here, with Dream trying to decide Tommy’s emotions for him:
“Oh... I hate you” “*laughs* Okay Tommy, you don’t hate me” “No, no I definitely do” “Noooo, you don’t hate me”
Cue Dream just blowing up Tommy’s second Summer Home after he explained that it was supposed to be a safe haven for him and Tubbo. Also note that Dream is already getting rid of any mob attacking Tommy even if at this point he still had armour and weapons to defend himself. I talked about this before, but Dream does seem to want Tommy to be as dependent on him as he is on Tommy, which is why during exile he made him dependent on him for protection/safety and company and in prison for food. Also Ghostbur going: “I don’t think this man is very nice...”, thank you Ghostbur, I wish you could remember that, but you’re trying your best and I appreciate it...
“How long is- how long am I exiled for? When can I just go back?” “You can’t (...) if you go back you die”
Again, not Dream’s decision to make. Tubbo was the one exiling Tommy meaning that, if Tubbo actually had the decision power in that istance, Tubbo was the one who should have decided when he could come back. Also, again reiterating the point from before:
“I thought I was only banished from L’Manburg, that was the deal, not the entirety of the smp-” “Oh no. No you’re banished far enough where they don’t see you”
Also, a little look into Tommy’s mentality here:
“Tubbo said he wasn’t thinking with emotion, but with reason, but: what the fuck is the point if there isn’t any- any emotion?!”
This is honestly why he is Dream’s exact opposite and probably why he finds him fun, while Tubbo is irrelevant to him. Tommy thinks emotions should always be taken into account when making decisions and he values sentimentality over everything. Dream is the opposite, to him emotions are irrelevant and sentimentality is a weakness. Tubbo is a bit of both, which makes his clash of ideologies with Dream a lot less evident.
Anyway, they get to the island and Dream builds Tommy a dirt shack for him to set his spawn into. And then there is the first istance of Dream taking all of Tommy’s stuff (building blocks and food included) and blowing it up. Which, again, is in no way an actual exile condition. Tommy is in jail basically. He got kidnapped and now he is in jail. Also right after that Dream gives them food and obsidian (of course acting like he is doing them a big favour, when he actually just created that need), which Tommy bromptly refuses, later burning the obsidian.
Also Dream’s parting words here are: “I’ll see you never”. Which couldn’t be less true! There is quite a bit more after that, of Tommy and Ghostbur settling in, finding a ruined portal with some armour and the village nearby and Techno visiting, but this is about c!Dream and c!Tommy and it’s already incredibly long as is, so maybe I’ll talk about everything else another time...
Onto the next one: Tommy Is Alone in Exile with Dream...
This stream starts off with Bad visiting Tommy to give him a few presents (which consist of Chirp, 2 diamonds, an enderchest, and almost dead diamond pick with silk touch, some coocked chicken some bones and a few stacks of oak wood logs). Also Tommy sees Logsteshire for the first time. Then Dream arrives and he is not happy about the present (something something, having other people giving Tommy useful stuff would make him less reliant on Dream). Also Bad seems to be slightly scared of Dream since he immediately tells Tommy that he should not say that any of the stuff he gave him was from him. Anyway, Dream destroys everything, but Tommy, with Bad’s help, manages to save Chirp. Here’s their exchange in this scene of course:
“Tommy?” “Yes! Yes?!” “Do you have uh... something you wanna put on the floor here?” “Yes *throws in 3 red concrete blocks*” “Anything else Tommy?” “No! You’re evil by the way, you’re an evil man-” “Come on... I know there is something else you wanna drop down here...” “No there-... *gives disk to Bad* I don’t reckon there is!” “Okay are you sure...?” “Yes!” “Alright... how about uh- how about your armour Tommy?” “No this is- I actually earned this myself” “I know you did! Just drop it in the hole Tommy” “No, no! You can’t just come and demand things from me! I’ve been exiled, I’ve done your shit! What- what do you mean-” “Tommy~” “What?” *Dream hits Tommy with an enchanted netherite axe* “Drop them down~” “Hooooo okay okay okay!”
So, in case anyone was wondering, physical abuse is there as well. And this is fully depicted as physical abuse. Like, normally, with this being Minecraft, it is implied that violence is generally inconsequential, here though c!Tommy reacts to it clearly in pain and shock. There is no doubt there.
Sapnap arrives at this point as well. After that Dream makes it a point that Tommy cannot have the enderchast that Bad gave him because you can never have enough random arbitrary rules when kidnapping someone apparently!
“Why are you here? Why are you here? What- what could you- what could you possibly want more from me? You’ve tortured me-” “I’m just! I’m just... keeping an eye on you Tommy”
I’ve highlighted this because, considering the last time Dream was there he said he would never see Tommy again, Tommy’s confusion here is more then understandable. But of course Dream acts like it’s obvious that he would be there and that it’s necessary to make sure that Tommy is not “up to no good”. Also, another extremely important exchange:
“You’ve exiled me you stupid manipulative green bastard!” “Yeah I know! I know! And you know why I did that” “Yes? Yes?” “No, you know why” “Why?” “Because you don’t listen to me ever. You’re the only person who doesn’t ever listen to me (...) listen, you are like a little annoying bug in my room and it pisses me off so I take you and I put you outside and that’s what I did. And now I’m just making sure that you stay outside”
So... the bullshit about this being about George’s house is out of the window by the first proper exile stream. Also Dream goes in the ever increasing list of villains who, if annoyed enough, will reveal all their evil plans to the protagonist. Like Tommy screaches enough and Dream will immediately go in evil monologuing mode...
“So what do you actually want from me then?” “Well nothing, I’m just here to talk to you. Tommy, we’re still friends ok? Just because I exiled you doesn’t mean we’re not friends-” “Just because I killed your friends and family doesn’t mean we can’t be bros...” “Well, it’s true!”
Ok so, it’s confirmed that Dream would still go on with this “friendship” facade even if he killed Tubbo or Wilbur then. Also:
*Tommy sees a creeper* then in the most monotone tone ever: “Help me” Dream sprinting from the other side of the cave: “TOMMY!”. I love this scene and I love this two dumbasses (and I mean the cc’s here). Also, to go back to the serious stuff: once again Dream is the one killing every single mob around Tommy because he blew up all his means for defence. Also Bad and Sapnap are still there as well, but Dream is always the on interveening (mostly because he is the one following Tommy around more closely). I’ll have a few of the more interesting quotes here afterwards until the next interesting scene:
“If I had 8 legs I would fuck you all up” “Oooh, no you wouldn’t” (Dream de-valuing Tommy’s anger once again)
“Stop following me” “NO” “Well okay then...” (honestly this was just funny...)
“Can I call you Wilbur? Or is it Ghostbur...?” “You can call me whatever you like” (for those saying that Ghostbur not correcting Tommy was weird)
“Alright Wilbur, what do you need an enderchest for? I might make an exception but-” “We- we need it so that we can access our stuff from the old world, the old world” “But not to go back” “How would we be able to go back with an enderchest?” “Well I don’t know maybe there is stuff in there that’s... better” “Tommy do you have anything that could get you to go back? In the enderchest?” “A boat? What’d you mean?” “Yeah to be honest we just need wood to get back, it’s not really-”
Here we have Ghostbur poking holes in one of the new rules that Dream added that day. As a matter of fact, why would an enderchest be dangerous? Tommy mostly keeps sentimental stuff in there and a bit of iron. Still that’s the whole point: Dream is trying to get Tommy under his control so he needs to bring him to a point where he’ll listen to his orders even when they don’t make any actual sense. Also, btw, Dream doesn’t actually give them an enderchest after this exchange.
“Do you want to come with me Tommy? Do you want to come with me and visit the old library?” “No no no” “Yes! Yes please!” “No he wants to stay here with me” “I don’t. I definitely don’t” “He does! He’s just trying to be nice to you Wilbur. He’s trying to be nice to you” “I’m not Wilbur, I want to come with you” (way to gaslight an amnesiac ghost...)
“So how long is Tommy supposed to be here?” “Like a week?” “Oh, a week is not bad!” “*laughing* No he’s here forever” (Like goddamn, imagine if every minor griefing was punished with permanent exile!)
“M-maybe like- does Tommy gets like visitations? Like once every month he get’s to go to L’Manburg-” “No! No no no” “No visitation, huh?” “No visitation” (well, let’s thank Sapnap for trying...)
So, after this Tommy gets his plan to go through the Nether and find a quick way to and from L’Manburg to, perhaps, sneak in unnoticed at some points. Dream “allows” him here to go to the Nether (even though technically there is no reason why the exile would extend to there as well), so they get to work on fixing a ruined portal. “Did you know, I apparently blew up a nation and killed everyone” (thank God we have Ghostbur, he makes everything better). One thing I want to note though: at this point Tommy still kills the mobs attacking him when Dream is not stalking him and doing it for him, which is kind of nice. We are still at the first exile stream though...
“Can I go back for like an hour and see all my friends?” “No, they can come here though. I-I mean Tommy, I think- I think that someone could come here and visit you, but you can’t ever go back. Like I-I don’t have anything against people coming here and visiting you if they want to. They don’t HAVE to, but they can if they really want to” “Tommy think of it this way: whenever you’re in prison you can’t just go and visit your friends, but they can come and visit you” “They can come and visit you, yeah, that’s actually a very- that’s a perfect analogy”
I wonder why the best analogy for Tommy’s situation is not a f*cking exile analogy, but actual prison. Maybe because he is confined to one place, not allowed to keep any personal items and never allowed to go back? Also they actually get to Nether hub at this point and there is the famous scene with Tommy looking at the lava:
A curious thing about this scene (aside from being a clear indication of the beginning of Tommy’s depressive spiral) is both that Dream didn’t seem to particularly care about Tommy dying up until now (and in the future as well) as long as he is the one to kill him. Meaning that he seemed fine with it as long as he had control over it. And yet at the end there he agrees with Tommy’s statement of “it’s never my time to die” which kinda makes me think that Dream by this point was already entirely set on his idea of Tommy needing to be alive for Dream to control the whole server. Tommy and Dream head back to Logstedshire after this scene.
*Tommy looks at the lava while standing very close to the edge* “I’ll go back through just to... check and see” *Dream hits Tommy away from the edge* “Come on” *Tommy goes back to the edge and Dream pushes him away again, this time covering the hole* “It’s not your time to die yet Tommy” “It’s never my time to die” “That’s true”
“Home sweet home...” “Home sweet home. I think it’ll be good! People might visit you all the time, I mean, I can visit you! It’s- it’s actually fun to come here! It’s a little bit- it’s a change of scenery, you know?” “It’s not fun to be stuck here” “Well... you’re not ’stuck’ it’s your vacation home!” “Can I go back? I’m ready...” “No but you can leave this area, you can go somewhere else. This is just- like, I took you far away, you can go further if you want”
So, if anyone is wondering, this is not, in fact, Dream giving Tommy more freedom. Especially considering that when Tommy does leave Logstedshire later on Dream literally hunts him down, so no, that was never an option. What Dream is doing here is make himself sound benevolent by comparison by telling Tommy that the only other options he has are worse since they are even further away.
“I’m here for a good time, not for a long time” (more hints towards Tommy’s depressive spiral)
“Guys how do you know when it’s too much?” (and again)
“Can I go and see the tree?” “Tommy, you can’t go and see the tree” “Dream why don’t you let him just- it’s not in L’Manburg! Why don’t you let him just see the tree and then escort him back?”
Ghostbur my beloved, pointing out holes in Dream’s rules all the time. Something tells me that’s the reason why Dream tried to kill him later on...
Anyway! This concludes this first post because it’s... Oh fuck this is REALLY long.... welp! I’ll make the others in the next few days!
#dreamwastaken#tommyinnit#ghostbur#dream smp#exile arc#tw abuse#tw manipulation#c!dream critical#character analysis#relationship analysis#this was supposed to be just all the quotes of c!dream being an asshole during the exile arc#then I went 'how about I write a couple of my thoughts in as well?'#and mistakes were made...#long post#my post

⚠︎ memtions of blood, voilence, fighting, swearing, Technoblade's execution episode. Angst.
Masterlist!
Dear Technoblade,
I wont make the same mistakes again
- an old friend. ♤
Technoblade was always a threat, and you learned that from L'Manburg. You had befriended him when he joined Pogtopia and very quickly you two seemed to click. He saw the world through different eyes and that intrigued you. You wanted to be him, live life the way he does it for just a day.
He was a killing machine, he was smart tactical, but still had the thirst for blood that made him be so smart and tacitcal with how he kills.
You on the other hand were not a big fan of killing, but this war was an exception. This war made you practice, it made you angry, it lit a fire underneath you that you didnt know you had. Along with the other members of Pogtopia, Technoblade helped you fight, how to wield a sword, knife, gun, anything that you can get your hands on you turned it into a weapon, you Soon enough you had mastered weapons and you werent so passive.
You questioned yourself if this was living through Technoblade, the need to fight, hunt, to protect. You felt poweful. As you hold your own crafted swords in your hand you know what you can do. You could do so much damage with this sword, he gave you that sword. It wasn't special at all but you made it special, because in your eyes it was.
"You can do so much with a sword, people just don't know how to use it to its fullest potential. They dont know their full potential either. But now you do."
Thats what he said to you in between those stone walls called Pogtopia.
After what he said to you had done so. Used the sword to your full potential, used anything to your full potential. You wanted to be more and more you became.
"You ready?" Technoblade smirked.
"Hell yeah Im ready to kill that bastard." You smiled
"Woah-oh! You weren't saying this a couple months ago."
"Schlatt deserves it. That's not L'Manburg. This is L'Manburg." You stretched out your arms to the others who were gathering armor and polishing their weapons for the battle yet to come.
You smiled knowing this will all end soon, you wouldn't be in a cave anymore, you wouldn't have to hide the fact that you knew where Wilbur was and that he was planning the attack, Pogtopia will be no more and L'Manburg would be back.
"L'Manburg will be back." You said while taking a sword out of a chest.
"Sure." You heard him scoff beside you.
"What's that supposed to mean?" You asked slightly offended. Wasn't he fighting for the same thing?
"I dont know. Revolutions always fall." He turned his back to you and walked away leaving you to your own thoughts.
You hated it. He was right, he was always right and you hated it. And everyone else did too, they knew he was right. It wasnt what the majority wanted, we wanted L'Manburg while he didn't want to be held by government in the first place. That's what he meant that day in Pogtopia.
L'Manburg, one defeated, was now growing once more. After the "end" of L'Manburg you couldn't forgive him. Your anger and the feeling of betrayal kept growing and growing everyday, every time you picked up that damned sword he gave you. It was the best sword you had, you had enchanted it multiple times. You had to use it, but the only thing was the memories that came with it.
Your anger only worsened as time went on, having to hear about Technoblade and how he was such a threat to L'Manburg only made you want to destroy him and the past you two had created. That would be the closure you needed, but someone was already three steps a head of you.
In spite of your anger you and Quackity had the most magnificent idea to make a gang to finally kill Technoblade for the sake of L'Manburg. The idea was to go confront him at his house and take him back to L'Manburg for an execution. You were on board with the idea 100%. This was better for L'Manburg and better for yourself, finally someone who got you.
Quackity and you planned tirelessly to try and get Technoblade's location and bring him back. The Butcher Gang was made from the cabinet of L'Manburg. During these long days you two grew closer, you two were so different in ways of thinking, but you two shared the same end goal which worked out in your favor. You two went through hell and back just to find out that the easiest way to get to Technoblade was sitting in L'Manburg right at that moment. Philza, some may say Technoblade's only friend at the moment. He was loyal to Technoblade and you dont blame him at all, but you needed to find out where his companion was.
It was all going well, the Butcher Gang had put Phil on house arrest and Tubbo had found a compass that led them straight to Technoblade's location. Everything was going well and according to plan, you didnt want to show it on your face as you saw Technoblade's house from the spot in the woods the Butcher Gang was hiding in, but you wanted this so badly. You didnt where he was going to be, he could've came and bestowed more destruction. It was like knowing he was there, but not knowing when he was going to strike.
The anxiety that came with not knowing where Technoblade was always with you, but now it wont be.
The Butcher Gang ended up taking Technoblade by force back into the city. You were proud that you were all able to get the blood hungry pig-man to come back with you all. He was behind bars with an anvil hanging high over his head. As Tubbo gave his speech your short lived happiness soon faded as a man appeared and smoke filled the area. You started to get attacked by what seemed like Dream and Punz while Tubbo continued to yell for Quackity to pull the lever to finally kill Technoblade.
"Pull the lever Big Q!"
"Kill him Quackity!" You yelled with him.
He did it. The anvil fell fast towards Technoblade's body, but as fast as the anvil landed on him his skin, bones, and blood regenerate and return to its normal state. Your eyes widened as the totem in his hand began to disintegrate into gold dust.
"DAMMIT!" You yelled in agony while Ranboo and Fundy continued to fend off Dream and Punz until they retreated.
Once they did you realized Technoblade was gone, you saw him in the distance running away from the scene, but you couldn't let this happen. You couldn't let the fear of Technoblade being out there doing God knows what forever. The fear of him boiled in your heart as you broke out into a sprint towards Technoblade.
As you ran into a more secluded area you heard footsteps behind you. You glances back to see Quackity following your lead with an axe in his hand. Slowing down a bit you both ran side by side.
"Let's get this son of a bitch!" Quackity huffed as you both came across a cave.
You both knew Technoblade was in there so you both prepared for the mental and physical pain you would both endure. This wasn't like the Butcher Gang where it was 5 against 1, it was 2 against 1 and you've seen Technoblade fight this fight before.
"You ready to kill this bastard?" He calmed his breathing down.
"Of course I am." You kept your eyes foward.
You walked deep into tha cave to see 6 chests and a sign that said "final control room", that bastard. Wanting to be quiet you tried to sneak up on Technoblade, but Quackity's anger got the best of him.
"What the fuck is this Technoblade?! What the hell are you doing here?" He asked gripping his sword too tight.
"It not what it looks like." Technoblade airly laughed. He had an enchanted pickaxe in his hand and an open chest with netherite armor.
"How the hell did that anvil not kill you?!" Quackity yelled.
Technoblade started laughing, he was laughing, he was taunting us. "Do you really think that death can stop me? That you could kill me that easily."
Your emotions tried to get the best of you as you tried not to let frustrated tears fall onto your cheeks.
"How did you do it? What... How did you even do that?"
"You think that can stop me Quackity?" Technoblade asked again.
"Just answer the fucking question!" You yelled before either of them could speak. It was silent for a while before Technoblade slowly spoke up.
"A totem. I used a totem of undying. I always have it on me." He smugly said.
He continued on. "You know what?! You know what? Ive got a lot to say, I was gonna say it at the trial, but we got a little bit interrupted. You know I tried convincing you guys that government was not the answer, the government was actually the cause of all your problems!"
You rolled your eyes as he continued his infamous speech.
"I tried to convince you guys by fighting alongside you as brothers and you cast me aside, you used me. I tried to use force, but you still formed a government! And when I went into hiding, when I retired, when I swore off violence, you hunted me down, you hurt my friends." Technoblade finished.
"Techno you dont understand what we're fighting for!" You started finally finding your voice. "I thought you were for us! You were always against us!"
"I was always for you! I needed you guys to understand!"
"We needed YOU to under-"
Technoblade interrupted you. "You dont understand me! You never did!"
"At least I fucking tried and you gave me so much shit for it! I wanted to be you Technoblade. I wanted to see life through your eyes, I was fascinated by how you walk, fight, your mind."
Your anger began to subside as you continued to speak. "But, you made me lose all my faith and trust in you."
Technoblade laughed again. "Same here! You guys left me! Betrayed me so-"
"So the feeling is mutual." You growled.
It was quite for a minute, but you could feel Quackity's sympathetic stare as you poured your feelings out to a man who dosen't even matter to you.
"They warned me about this." Your arms gestured to the area the three of you were in.
"About what?" Technoblade scoffed.
"About you." You stared at Technoblade. It wasn't a glare, it was more calm.
"Quackity, Tubbo, Fundy...Even Ranboo." You airly chuckled.
You had stopped talking trying to get yourself back together. Quackity caught that you weren't talking anymore so he spoke up.
"What we have up there is a country and what we need here is organization and power. And I dont care how long it fucking takes me or what I have to do to get you Techno. Im going to fucking kill you. Im going to kill you Technoblade." Quackity gripped his axe in his hand.
"I just have one question Quackity." Techno smirked.
"What do you have?" Quackity responded and you took the sword out of the sheath hanging on your hip.
"Do you think you two are enough to kill me? Even unarmed with iron armor?" Technoblade closed the chest that held netherite armor signaling he didn't need that. "Do you think you both could take me?"
"Oh we do." You spoke up. "We need this, Technoblade."
"You know what?" Quackity rose his axe and you followed suit. "Lets find out you son of a bitch!" He charged towards Technoblade and you followed close behind.
Technoblade started running out of the long cave, but you two followed. He threw potions on the ground as he turned around and fought us head on. You were able to get a couple of cuts and hits on him, but he was cutting you more with his pickaxe.
The thing about Quackity was that he thought he was invincible. He kept going full force towards Technoblade, hopefully he would focus on him so you could finally get a critical hit on him. Your heart rate kicked up as your face came too close to his pickaxe. And it kept going, each swing he took towards you became closer and closer until Quackity slashed his arm with his axe.
Technoblade whipped his head his way. "I have a pickaxe and I'll put it right through your teeth!"
Technoblade swung his axe and slashed Quackity's face, including his eye. He then turned his pickaxe to the flat side and swung it, hitting the side of his head. The blow to his head sent him flying against one of the walls of the cave, knocking him out.
He then turned to you and in a flash you could tatse the metal of his pickaxe as it swiped across your face blinding one of your eyes as well as Quackity's. He had hit you on the side of the head like he did with Quackity. Your body was aching as you fell to the ground, your mind slowly shutting down. You were loosing a lot of blood quickly, and so was Quackity. You two knew you were going to find the strength to get out of this cave and follow Technoblade's path out.
You laid on the cave's cold floor realizing that this was a mistake. You were too loyal, easily swayed, you were a follower. You never knew when to stop, from L'Manburg to Pogtopia to The Butcher Gang you seeked things you couldn't have. You couldn't have L'Manburg, neither Pogtopia, you couldn't kill Technoblade and ease your fears snd anxieties. You need to seek that some where else.
Your mind began to slip, and you fell into unconsciousness.
You should've learned. He was right. Revolutions always fall.
The Butcher Gang was a mistake.
Dear Technoblade,
I remembered the day. It still pains me. The day you spawned those wither. I thought you were the traitor, but turns out I was wrong at the time. Im sorry for that.
I also remember when you left me for dead. But I made it out as you see.
But now I am resigning from L'Manburg. Im going my own way, my own path, and I don't want you on my path.
Think of this as closure, something I never got. As I am writing this I dont know why I am giving you closure, lifting a weight off of your shoulders, you dont deserve it.
I know people say that to you alot.
You really made a dent in this damned place.
I hate what you're doing. You get to live in solitude while we get to live in the debris you left here. I wanted to be like you.
I hate to say it, but I learned a lot from you. I hated what I learned, about myself, about you, about the current state of this horrible place.
I wont make the same mistakes again
Are you satisfied now?

...so we could all use a little fluff after yesterday, right?
TW: description of a panic attack with referenced abuse. The scene is in bold if you want to skip over it, and is a small part of the story
-
Michael didn’t understand much about the world, especially since Snowchester was all he could remember.
What he did know was that there were both kind people, and people who were not so nice.
Michael’s dads knew what was best, he had realized. Many times Michael had been approached by strangers in his own room, with dadboo swooping in to clutch him to his chest protectively. Michael didn’t know what was so bad about some of these strangers, but in his dad’s arms, he felt protected, so he figured dadboo knew something he didn’t.
Dadboo wasn’t the only one in Michael’s life who he felt fully safe around. There was his other parent, dadbee. Dadbee wasn’t as tall or as strange as dadboo was, but dadbee would stand with dadboo, a weapon clutched in his hand whenever a stranger would invade the house. If Michael listened to Technoblade’s metaphors in the possible future, he’d look back on this time and compare his fathers to a sword and shield.
There was another important guardian in Michael’s life too: his uncle Tommy.
Tommy had hair that reminded the kid of gold, fangs that were as sharp as piglin tusks, and always some kind of mischievous glint in his eye. When Michael’s dads were away, Tommy came to watch over him, something Michael had grown to look forward to.
Ever since the two met, they had a strong connection, something that was cemented with Tommy knowing Michael’s native language, being able to communicate with him better. Tommy was also teaching it to his fathers too, dadbee getting good enough to ask Michael what he wanted for dinner, and being able to understand Michael’s answers, while dadboo was the best at giving one-word instructions.
His family was so cool, and Michael would tell Foolish Jr. about them whenever the little totem came over for a playdate. Just like Michael, Foolish Jr. had an uncle as well, but unlike Michael, Foolish Jr. had never seen his own, hearing that he had been taken somewhere secret. Michael felt sorry for his best friend, while also being happy that he had such an awesome uncle himself.
Tommy was even missing an eye like him! Michael didn’t know how he lost it, and whenever the piglin asked, Tommy would just mumble something in response about “green”, and saying that Michael could hear about it when he was older. Michael didn’t mind, it just made him feel closer to the blonde.
The world was confusing, and things didn’t make that much sense yet, but Michael knew that he always had dadboo, dadbee, and uncle Tommy by his side to protect him.
-
“You two have fun, okay?”
Michael watched as Tubbo tried forcing a large metallic object into his bag, even beginning to stomp down on it before Ranboo ran in frantically.
“Tubbo, we just need to check on the borders of Snowchester, we don’t need-”
“Nukes can come in handy, Ranboo!”
“HOW!?”
Tommy rolled his eye in mock exaggeration, glancing down at Michael, who turned his head to stare back. “Your dads are never getting out of here, guess I can’t babysit tonight.”
Michael stomped his hoof in frustration, letting out a loud snort of annoyance, which caught both of his dads’ attention.
“Tommy, what did you tell him?” Ranboo’s eyebrow raised in suspicion as his eyes gazed down at the huffy piglin.
“That the two of you are slower than the Eggpire’s “ultimate takeover”.” The pout on Tubbo’s face was enough to make Tommy burst into his signature laughter, the couple eventually joining in on enjoying the joke. Michael didn’t understand what was happening, but began to giggle in little snorts, not wanting to be left out.
“Okay, okay. I think we are taking a while,” Ranboo muttered, tilting his head to look down at Tubbo accusingly. The ram hybrid stared back, sticking out his tongue in mock aggression.
“Don’t you want to be safe? We could run into a pack of wolves and have to defend ourselves.”
“Tubbo, I think the nuke killing us is more likely to happen than being killed by mobs-”
Michael let out another frustrated cry, beginning to hop in place and slam his hooves down on the floorboards. Ranboo and Tubbo both looked at him, ears folding back sheepishly.
“Sorry,” Tubbo mumbled in piglin, rubbing the back of his neck. Ranboo nodded along with that, bending down to rub Michael’s head affectionately. “Okay, we get it. We’re going now. Have a good time, Michael.” Ranboo gently booped Michael’s snout with his own, standing up once the piglin squealed happily,
“Ranboooo, we have to make a stop at the warehouse,” Tubbo tugged on his husband’s jacket once the enderman stood.
“Tubbo, we’ll waste time-”
“Do you want the nuke to be left here with our son then?”
“...okay, w-”
“GOODBYE ALREADY!” Tommy let out a battle cry, shoving the two parents through the door and locking it behind them. Michael chirped happily, clapping his hooves at the amusing sight. Even inside, they could still hear Ranboo and Tubbo talking faintly. Uncle and nephew listened closely, waiting until the voices could no longer be heard.
“Okay, those two are gone now. We now have the whole night to ourselves.” Tommy turned, giving Michael a fanged grin. The piglin began jumping on the spot excitedly, flapping his stubby arms.
-
Tommy had been surprisingly good at managing Michael, even understanding how to keep him happy while making sure he was safe. The lack of a language barrier made everything a lot easier too, but even Tubbo and Ranboo were surprised at how well Tommy knew how to do a lot of household tasks that parents normally took over. The two of them had once come home to a spotless house, Tommy telling them that he needed to kill energy through cleaning after putting Michael to bed.
Currently, Tommy was preparing a bowl of steamed carrots for Michael, keeping an eye on the piglin playing on the floor while also focusing on the pot boiling. Michael’s favourite food was potatoes, but his parents had told him that Tommy didn’t really like those much, so he had to have something else. Michael’s next favourite was carrots, which was something Tommy did like too, and he always made them the way Michael liked.
On the floor, Michael was playing with his stuffed bee. It was a gift from his dadbee that Michael loved squeezing into, and it was even the size of the piglin himself. It was rather silly to see him clutching onto a giant bee, but it was also a very cute sight.
Michael pretended to attack the large plush, leaping into it at full speeds and rolling across the floor like he always did. Tommy chuckled at the sight, removing the pot from the stove and turning it off. “Be careful, little man. Tubbo’ll kill me if something happens to you.” He muttered light-heartedly.
Michael oinked in understanding, rolling his bee across the floor once more. Upon doing so however, a thread caught onto the edge of one of the floorboards, unravelling the bee slightly and exposing the stuffing. Michael stared at the plush toy quietly, his eye wide as tears started to spill from it.
Setting aside the carrots for draining, Tommy quickly turned around upon hearing a panicked squeal. He spotted Michael clutching the ripped bee close to his chest, sad little oinks escaping from him. Tommy slowly made his way over to his nephew, crouching down to see him better.
“Did Mr. Bee get hurt?” Michael nodded, oinking out what happened to his favourite toy. Tommy turned, glaring at the floor with a huff.
“How dare you fuckin’ hurt him. Mr. Bee never did anything to you, stupid pieces of wood.”
Michael giggled a little, tears still falling from his eyes. Tommy turned back to the piglin after “getting angry” at the floor, an understanding smile appearing on his face. “Michael, do you know where Tubbo keeps the rainbow string with the tiny stabby sticks?”
The piglin gave a curt nod, pointing to one of the chests along the walls. Tommy stood up, stretching his body before leaning down and gently picking up Michael. Michael was placed in his high chair, with Tommy bringing over the bowl of drained carrots. “You eat these, okay? I’ll have the coolest surprise for you when you’re done.”
Michael’s eye widened again and he quickly began to gulp down his food, Mr. Bee forgotten for now. Tommy let out a panicked laugh, quickly taking the bowl from Michael and stared at his nephew eye-to-eye. “You only get the surprise if you eat slowly, okay? It’s not safe to eat that fast.”
Michael frowned, folding his arms and muttering something.
“Woah, and where did YOU hear that word from?”
Another snort.
“...okay, I’ll admit that I did say that.”
Michael’s lip curled in in satisfaction as he stuck his tongue out at his uncle, Tommy placing his hand to his chest and gasping dramatically. “Wow, you’re so fuckin’ rude. I can’t believe you’d do this to your own flesh and blood.”
Michael pointed to the right side of his head.
“...flesh and bone. Stop being so sassy tonight.”
Another stuck-out tongue.
-
As Michael began to eat, Tommy looked through the chest his nephew had been pointing to, finding the needles and threat he had been looking for. The blonde gave a fist pump in quiet celebration, heading back to where Michael had left the stuffed bee behind. He sat down and picked up the plush, surprised at how light it was. With his materials there, Tommy began to sew up the toy.
Wilbur had taught him how to sew during the Pogtopia days, when Tommy's clothes kept getting torn due to running from the Manberg guards. Wilbur eventually became far too busy to teach Tommy more, which was when Niki stepped in to continue teaching Tommy, and started teaching Tubbo as well.
Tommy didn't have the best childhood. Actually, that was an understatement. Tommy had one of the worst childhoods possible, with the constant threat of war and death looming over his head as he charged into battle with his family and friends. It was the worst experience Tommy could have ever gotten, and even though the wars were over, there were still the rising threats of new ones. Ones that he'd probably be forced to participate in.
But for now, everything was okay, and that's all Tommy wanted.
Michael was a bright young lad, appearing to adopt similar mannerisms to Tommy's own. While he'd never say it to anybody, Tommy was incredibly fond of his nephew. Michael had a loving family, and a wonderful home to live in. He didn't have to care about wars, or being exiled, or being imprisoned, or-
Tommy felt his heart rate drop for a moment, accidently pricking himself with the needle he was sewing with. "Shit," he muttered, quickly shaking his hand to alleviate the sting.
Michael looked over at him, hearing the curse. His ears were perked up and he oinked inquisitively. Tommy responded with a thumbs-up, letting out a fake laugh. Michael copied his actions, giving a similar thumbs-up motion with his hooves.
As Michael continued to eat, Tommy continued to sew, his mind suddenly a lot more crowded than before.
-
Michael slurped up the last of his meal, licking his lips happily. Carrots were always filling, especially when Tommy made them.
The piglin began to let out chirrs, gazing in Tommy's direction as he wiggled in his seat. Tommy looked up from what he was working on, eye softening when he saw how energetic and happy Michael was after the meal.
"Alright, I'm coming."
After removing Michael from his chair, Tommy brought him over to where he had previously played with his bee, setting the boy down carefully on the floor. "You ready for the best fuckin' surprise ever?"
Michael nodded rapidly, clapping his hooves and flapping his legs.
"Shut your eye."
Michael did so, one of his hooves rushing to cover up his functioning eye. The other hoof covered up his skull eye, despite not being able to see anything out of it. Tommy smiled fondly, placing the stuffed bee in front of his nephew. The bee was sewn up shut, a large red bow tied around its thick neck.
“You can look now.”
Michael removed his hooves and immediately started shrieking with excitement. He rushed forward, almost flattening himself into the plush toy. Tommy stepped back, folding his arms and leaning against the wall with a smirk. “Is your uncle the coolest, or what? Don’t answer that, I know I am.”
It was funny how despite being different species, Michael looked so much like Tubbo in the moment. Tommy recalled a similar situation with Tubbo that happened in the ravine of Pogtopia, and how it happened shortly after Quackity had joined the group. Quackity had gone to secretly fetch items from his old office, returning to Pogtopia with them alongside Tubbo’s beloved bee plush that had been abandoned on the former vice-president’s desk.
The bee was ragged and torn, but a still-recovering Tubbo had been happy beyond tears to have it back. He held it all day, with him only letting go as he slept that night. Tommy had slid the bee gently out of the older boy’s arms and tried to stitch it back up. It didn’t go as well as he had hoped, but Niki had found him underneath the moonlight, and was the one to assist in repairing the plush. Tommy had made Niki promise that she wouldn’t tell Tubbo it was him, but looking back at some of those messy cross-stitches, Tubbo probably figured it out within seconds.
Upon waking up, Tubbo found his newly-repaired bee and began to bleat excitedly, clutching the toy close to his chest and burying his face in it. It had been a moment of joy in the darkness of their situation, and certainly lifted Tommy’s own spirits.
Michael was acting just like his father did then, the memory causing a soft smile across the blonde’s features. Tommy was so lost in his thoughts though, he didn’t notice Michael rushing towards him. In the piglin’s excitement, he had forgotten the one rule his parents had set up for him.
He grabbed a hold of Tommy’s leg, squeezing it tightly in a hug.
Tommy's eyes shot open at the sudden contact, the pressure on his leg constricting him, preventing him from moving it. He couldn't move his leg, he couldn't move his leg, he couldn’t move his leg.
His voice caught in his throat, the walls of it tightening as his breathing sped up. He couldn't scream for help, he couldn't cry out for anybody. All that was there was the searing pain of his wounds as his body was scraped along the ground, Dream's voice in his ears that Tommy couldn't run, that Tommy couldn't beg, that Tommy couldn't leave.
Michael had looked up at his uncle at that point, suddenly aware that the mood in the room had shifted drastically, and still clutching the leg. Tommy returned Michael’s look, trying to weakly shake his leg, which had become numb.
“Michael. Leg.”
It was two words, but Michael immediately realized what he had done, the piglin stepping back a few feet with an apologetic squeal. Unfortunately, Tommy’s head was now spinning, and couldn’t make sense of the room. He was real, he was real, he was real. He wasn’t dead, he wasn’t back in the prison, his head-
Tommy collapsed to the ground, making Michael jolt. Michael started oinking nervously, trying to find out what was going on, and what he could do. Tommy’s head felt like it was going to split open, and he shut his eye tightly, hands clawing at the wooden floor as he tried to communicate with Michael, making sure not to scare him even more. “Brain’s upset.”
Tommy wasn’t able to open his eye to see what Michael’s response was, but Michael was frantically looking around for something that could help. When his parents were upset, he would curl up next to them, snuggling into their sides, but he couldn’t do this with Tommy. His fathers’ one rule had been to never touch Tommy, especially if his uncle wasn’t looking, and Michael had broken it on accident.
Going over everything he liked to do when scared, Michael’s eye landed on his bee plush. Whenever he was worried, he liked to hug it. Would his uncle like doing that too? Nervously, he tried nudging it towards Tommy, little by little. When he thought it was in good-enough range, he let out gentle honks, trying to get his uncle’s attention. It took a few minutes, but Tommy’s eye eventually opened slightly. It looked glazed and unfocused, glancing around the room for a moment before landing on the soft toy placed in front of him.
Slowly, he let go of the floor, the process taking several minutes for him to even reach out for it, but Michael waited the whole time. He gave the toy one move delicate shove, allowing it to roll until it stopped in front of Tommy with about a foot of distance between them. Once more, Tommy grabbing the plush took a while, his arm trembling, and his face pale, but eventually he got a grip of it, pulling it into his chest as quickly as he could.
“Thanks,” Tommy muttered weakly, Michael’s ears rising as he smiled.
-
It was about a half-hour later before Tommy fully calmed down, the comfort of the bee plushie combined with the gentle sounds of Michael’s chirrs lulling him into a more comfortable mindset.
Weakly he got up, the bee plush sitting in his lap as he rubbed away the tear stains. Tommy glanced over to his side, noticing Michael watching him carefully. His head was cocked to the side, and though he seemed happy that Tommy was up, his eyes showed worry for the older boy.
“I’m great, Michael,” Tommy lied a little. He was certainly feeling a lot better, but Michael probably wouldn’t understand if Tommy said he still felt a little disoriented. It was best to reassure the kid more than anything else. Smiling back at his nephew, Tommy carefully handed the bee plush back to him, the worry in Michael’s eyes being replaced with relief and joy.
With a grunt, Tommy hoisted himself up, praying that his arms or legs wouldn't give out again like they did before. He was still shaken up, and definitely not wanting to come in contact with anything else at the moment, his skin feeling cold and exposed from the aftermath. Michael watched him closely, taking a few steps away whenever Tommy would stumble in place, and looked like he was about to fall over. Letting out a sigh, Tommy looked over at Michael, gently smiling at him. "We could use a break. Do you have anything you want to do?"
Michael practically beamed.
-
"Hello~!" Tubbo slammed open the door, his mouth pulled into a cheeky grin.
Ranboo followed behind his husband, letting out an exhausted yawn as he carried a stack of leather almost up to his chin (and for Ranboo's height, that was saying something). "The world's most tired man is back, along with the living embodiment of a firework hyped up on crack."
"Ranboo, don't say that," Tubbo frowned, placing his hands on his hips. "You're nowhere near enough to be as colorful as a firework is."
"Are you implying that you're the tired one here?" Ranboo set down the stack of leather, beginning to brush remaining bits of meat from the leather off of his hands. "Because it seems like I had to do all the work."
"Hey, you're the one who said we should get leather!"
"And that to YOU somehow translated to "let's kill every cow in a four-mile radius". Now I've got gunk all over me."
"We-"
"OH MY GOD, WILL YOU BOTH PLEASE FUCKING SHUT UP?" Tommy yelled from where he sat on the carpet, spinning a plastic spinner that landed on the color red. Michael oinked in agreement, trying to reach the red spot on the plastic mat with his hind leg. Tubbo and Ranboo's conversation was immediately forgotten, the two watching in awe as their son was playing Twister.
"C'mon, big M. You've got this," Tommy encouraged. When Michael wasn't looking, Tommy carefully slid the mat closer together, making the spot reachable for him. Michael placed his leg down, letting out a squeal of victory. Tommy whooped excitedly, Michael raised a hand to give Tommy an air high-five, when he slipped and fell down, squealing in surprise.
"I know last time with Battleship was the weirdest I thought this could get, but I literally have no clue why you keep teaching him games out of his age range." Tubbo muttered, confused, before taking off his uniform and hanging it up on one of the hooks. Ranboo nodded, following Tubbo's actions with his own coat.
"Michael's a trooper!" Tommy folded his arms with satisfaction. "Next time I'm teaching him chess."
"Do you even know how to play chess?"
"Um, of course I do."
"Then why-"
"Okay!" Ranboo clapped his hands together, interrupting the conversation before it spiraled once more. "I assume you two had a good time?"
Tommy and Michael looking away from the couple awkwardly wasn't a good sign.
"Well, it was a good time," Tommy began to explain. "There was just a little accident though. I'll tell you two about it later when, y'know, somebody certain's asleep. But all you need to know is that Michael handled it really well." The blonde looked down at the piglin, flashing a fanged grin. Michael returned the smile, standing up on his stubby legs and rushing to Tubbo to give him a hug.
"How was the patrol thingy?" Tommy stood up as well, stretching as best as he could.
Ranboo and Tubbo were now the ones that looked away awkwardly.
"So somebody," Tubbo began, itching his cheek. "Might have suggested that we should get leather while we were out."
"And SOMEBODY," Ranboo flashed Tubbo a glance, folding his arms. "Decided to commit a mass cow genocide-"
"You know what! That story's not important right now!" Tubbo waved his hands frantically, laughing awkwardly as he avoided eye contact with a glaring Ranboo. "The point is, we didn't end up doing what we wanted to do-"
"Wonder who's fault that is-"
"-SO WE DECIDED TO DO IT ANOTHER TIME!" Tubbo finished, looking like he was about to start sweating buckets. "So, if it's okay, Tommy… could you maybe look after him again tomorrow?"
Tommy grinned again, nodding his head several times. "You can count on it, Tubbs. We definitely need to fuckin' talk about what happened tonight first, but hell yeah! Sounds good to me!"
"If you tell me Michael killed somebody, you're immediately fired as a babysitter and an uncle." Ranboo lifted up Michael from Tubbo's side, allowing the piglin to grab at his horn.
"Michael, if you ever kill somebody, don't tell your dads." Tommy whispered to Michael in piglin, fully knowing what was coming next once Michael giggled.
"Tommy, what did you say to him."
"Manslaughter is pog."
"YOU DID NOT-"

I came up with this 3 days ago and it hasn't left my mind since-
(little streamers au)
Someone makes a vr game that's basically a simulation of what it's like to be a human and/or tiny
So Tommy and everyone plays it and they all rotate between what sizes they are (Tommy sometimes is tiny and helping his now tiny friends get through it while they're terrified of their still giant freinds, and sometimes Tommy is big and gets to experience what it's like to be human- with the minor fear of him not understanding his own streangth-) lots of chaos ensues, but of course it's a vr game so they're all safe apart from the humans having been practically playing a horror game the whole time and realizing just how brave Tommy is by just fucking existing-
Roman this is one of my favorite asks about this au ever thank you so much :]
————————————
Little Streamer AU-In Reality
cw//language
————————————
As soon as the game was released Tommy’s dms blew up from his friends asking to play it with him. He didn’t know much about it except that the profit it made was going towards charity, but that was about it.
He was on a call with Wilbur when the older man explained the hype around it. It was a vr game that would let people experience being different heights in the hopes of helping fight against prejudices people still held against tinies.
“That’s pretty pog,” Tommy had smiled before Wilbur scolded him for not caring more.
Wilbur talked fast as he passionately explained the importance of the project to the tiny, but Tommy’s brain kept zoning in and out of the conversation.
However, Wilbur sounded so excited about it that Tommy finally agreed to hop on a call with the rest of his friends later that night to play.
Once Tommy hopped on the discord call with his friends he immediately heard Tubbo shouting at Phil.
“Hey hey back up! You’re gonna fucking squish me,” Tubbo screeched as Phil laughed.
“You’re fine mate,” Phil said with a feint laugh.
Tommy chuckled underneath his breath before logging onto the game with everyone else. He was met with two options in front of him
Tiny or human.
His hand hovered near human for a moment before he decided he’d rather stay the same on his first try. When he spawned in he hunched over at the scene in front of him.
Phil was carefully holding a now tiny Tubbo who was shrieking curses at him as Wilbur watched from the side.
“Hey Tommy,” Wilbur grinned as he reached down a hand for Tommy to hop in.
When Tommy was brought up to Tubbo’s level the scene was even more hilarious. The brunette teen desperately wrapped his arms around Phil’s fingers as he screamed.
Phil laughed nervously and reassured the tiny he was safe but Tubbo’s screaming wouldn’t stop.
Then suddenly he disappeared from Phil’s hand before reappearing as a human beside the other three.
“That was fucking awful,” Tubbo groaned as he glared at Phil.
Then in a flash Phil disappeared before appearing beside Tommy, now only a couple centimetres taller than himself.
Immediately he shrunk back away from the two humans.
“Holy fuck,” he gasped, “you’re fucking giant mate.”
He looked back at Tommy who laughed at his amazement before pulling him into a hug. Tommy let his head fall onto Phil’s shoulder and almost cried at the idea of actually getting to hug his friend. But he couldn’t really feel it...as much as he’d like to.
He had to keep reminding himself it was just a game as one by one his friends shrunk down to experience life at Tommy’s size.
When Wilbur finally shrunk down he gave Tommy a wide grin and looked around himself in awe.
“Is this really what everything looks like to you?” he asked after a moment.
Tommy moved to stand beside him on the counter, “Yeah Wilbur...this is it.”
Wilbur’s face melted into a soft smile as he turned to his brother, “It’s almost peaceful yaknow. When you’re so small and far from everything else...it’s kinda cool.”
Tommy shrugged and laughed at Wilbur’s weird emotional thoughts before an idea popped into his head.
“Stay,” he mumbled, “Stay like that for a second.”
Wilbur looked at him with a raised brow and nodded before the tiny disappeared.
Tommy’s screen flashed again with the options: “Human” or “Tiny.”
This time he hovered over human and pressed down. When everything finally came into view he blinked a couple times to try to center himself.
His head was almost at the lamp above the table...he’d never seen anything like it. All around familiar things seemed so different and insignificant at his new height. He flexed his hands in front of him for a moment before his eyes drifted downwards to where a now tiny Wilbur was looking up at him with a grin.
“Hey big man,” Wilbur laughed after a moment as Tommy brought a shaky hand down to Wilbur.
He watched as his brother climbed in and was amazed at just how small he was compared to him...and Tommy was normally much smaller than Wilbur was.
Tommy couldn’t even imagine how Wilbur felt holding him when they met up; Tommy slowly brought the tiny to his eyes and felt his breath catch in his throat at just how much power he held over the man. He had his friends entire life in his hands, and it was up to him to keep him safe.
Did Wilbur always feel this way when he held him?
“Hey dude!” he heard Tubbo yell from somewhere below him and Tommy noticed with a start that Phil and Tubbo were now tiny too and sitting on the counter below him.
Tommy gulped and tried to hold back his tears as he let the other two tinies crawl onto his palm.
“This is....is this how it always feels?” Tommy asked quietly after a moment.
Phil chuckled and patted Tommy’s hand, “Yeah mate. It’s weird isn’t it?”
Tommy let out a breathy laugh as he finally set the tinies back down. They disappeared and then after a moment they were all humans again.
Tommy gave Wilbur one last wide smile before allowing the game to bring him back to his original height.
Once he had reappeared Wilbur knelt down beside the table and offered his hand to Tommy. With new found appreciation Tommy climbed in with a knowing smile. His brother’s fingers gently pressed against his back as if he was trying to hug the small boy.
“It’s always scary yaknow... holding someone that’s so so small,” Wilbur whispered after a moment, “But it’s also nice. I can keep you safe because of it, it’s weird but...a good weird.”
Behind the tall man Tubbo nodded in agreement before saying his goodbye to leave the two alone. Soon after Phil left the game too, and after almost another half hour of switching between sizes to hold each other, Wilbur and Tommy logged off.
When Tommy pulled the headset off of his face it took him a moment to stabilize himself in the present. But as he said goodnight to his parents he couldn’t stop thinking about the feeling of having Wilbur in his hand.
The man who was usually to tall and strong had looked so...delicate in his hands. He wished he could be with him again so he could let Wilbur hold him close, but that would have to wait until the next meet up.
Until then he could fall asleep to the memories of having his friends safe in his hands.

dream smp warrior cats au
i’m stupid and dumb and for some reason folks liked my last post abt the wc au so here is my interpretation of season 1 of the dream smp as warrior cats baby!!! SO pretty much the au is that everybody was a part of one big clan (no name yet so ill just call it the smpclan,, i want to do a more realistic name but my brain hurts) that’s led by dream aka swiftstar along with his deputy sapnap aka darkflame and the medicine cat mosseyes (george). eventually a warrior called sootfur (will) and his apprentice bigpaw (tommy) decide they’ve had enough after swift and dark become more tyrannical and break off to start their own clan, manclan (this is a canon name for it, bigpaw suggested it as a joke and they ran with it) and sootfur becomes sootstar. he gives bigpaw his warrior name, bigclaw, and names him his deputy. bigclaw needed an apprentice before he could become deputy to be officially recognized, so sootstar used a loophole where bigclaw’s best friend sparrowpaw (tubbo) was made his apprentice a couple of minutes before sootstar made him a warrior too—sparrownose. the three, along with sootstar’s half-kittypet son foxfoot (fundy) and their friend brambleflower (eret) started manclan and defended it for a couple of moons. the declaration of independAnce is all of them putting their clawmarks in the great tree (l’mantree). you know the rest of the story bla bla bla the discs are two gems bigclaw found as an apprentice in a twoleg trash bin. sootstar steps down as leader, as he never truly got nine lives and everyone demanded they find out who starclan truly chooses as manclan’s leader, and starclan chooses an smpclan cat called rambelly (jschlatt). he becomes ramstar with duckstep (quackity) as his deputy. he makes bigclaw and sparrownose apprentices again, saying sootstar’s ceremonies were invalid because they were not backed by starclan, and then exiles bigpaw and sootfur from manclan. sootfur and bigpaw go off and live in a cave they find. their little group has no name besides ‘the exiled’. they meet a rogue called boar (technoblade) who helps them navigate the lands outside of the clans. soot rejects the clans completely, dropping his suffix and swearing revenge on manclan. despite soot’s protests, bigpaw keeps his warrior name and begs soot to at least attempt to mentor him and help continue his warrior training until he’s ready to become a real warrior (they both admit his training still wasn’t complete when soot made him a warrior/deputy) when they return (he believes they’ll return one day, soot doesn’t). soot begrudgingly agrees, but his training is less warrior training and more dangerous, intensive militant training. meanwhile, sparrowpaw is mentored directly by ramstar, mostly so ram could keep an eye on someone who was so close to the exiled, bigpaw in particular. after a few more moons of training, sparrow regains his warrior name, now sparrowpelt. he keeps the exiled up to date on what’s going on in manclan. bigpaw gets a little jealous when he finds out about sparrowpelt’s warrior ceremony, but doesn’t act on it. ramstar eventually plans a big feast for the clan to ensure loyalty, which sparrowpelt helps plan. he informs the exiled of this.
soot confesses to bigpaw that he was born a loner and that boar is his brother. he uses his rogue ties and help from his brother to plan to sabotage the clan’s feast. their plan is simple: they use sticks to take fire from a twoleg campsite and catch manclan’s territory on fire. surprisingly, swiftstar, who has become more of a rogue after allowing manclan to take up the spotlight, offers his help in this. the plot goes as normal, with the plan to usurp ramstar after he becomes incredibly insufficient as leader, and boar offers everyone tooth-clad collars as extra protection from their necks getting bitten (the vault scene). soot gives bigpaw his warrior name despite no longer being a leader, and everyone backs it, saying even without a leader, he’s earned it. he is once again bigclaw. the fight goes on regularly. ramstar had actually used up all but one of his nine lives doing various reckless activities, further proving his lack of respect for starclan, having only used them for his personal gain, and dies after choking on some of the prey he’d been hoarding for himself. no one helps clear his airway and he dies.
sparrowpelt is made leader of manclan and makes bigclaw his deputy. the cats rejoice, but meanwhile, soot fetches fire from the twolegs with swiftstar’s help. he sets the woods on fire and is then confronted by his loner father, a yellow cat named crow (philza) who came to see what his sons were doing in the clans’ territory. crow kills soot after he begs him to. the woods catch fire very quickly and boar leads them to safety by the edge of twolegplace. however, he makes his big speech and reveals that this was a trap and breaks the lock on a fence, releasing three massive dogs into the burning woods. more story, the cats eventually deter the dogs, bla bla bla. this is all i’m going to write for this post because JESUS CHRIST i did not realize how long this would be, but if you’re interested in hearing the later arcs’ warrior au type deal lmk! idek if this makes sense but you know. i might post some more art of this au as well,, you can check some warrior designs i did for michael and revived!tommy here, and the designs i did for the dreamteam and apprentice bigpaw here! here are some misc doodles as well! part 2 has been posted!

Dadschlatt Tommy AU Thoughts: Nov. 16 War Edition
Lore Context: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3
HAHA you thought this AU would die like canon Schlatt?! Nah
Have some of my many thoughts on Dadschlatt Tommy AU with this new context n just general thoughts
So let’s get right into it!
The Deal
So, I think we can all agree that Dream is a chaotic evil bastard n only wants chaos right? At least, I’m making him fully the lil puppet master evil man in his AU
And, after the ban, Dream REALLY hates Schlatt, for he is the cause of all this L’manberg n government type stuff that had happened. Even if he let him back on, it was just suppose to be a short time and honestly he would rather be rid of him than anything else
So what could Schlatt offer to Dream that no one else can?
Perhaps. Schlatt could comply to Dream permakilling him :) (probably by a potion, in which everyone saw him “drinking” you know?
But mostly permadeath only happens when people are ‘too far gone’ or ‘chose not to’ come back (Wilbur) n other means (special potions, etc)
n Schlatt at this point is just so damn tired. He believes that nothing can connect him to his son again, that he knows of Wilbur’s plans to blow up Manberg but he just doesn’t CARE
He put so much pain onto others because of his disconnection to his own emotions, and he can only now see the damage done in the realization that he had found his son
And when he makes the deal, Schlatt feels like he has done too much damage to Tommy. That anything he would be willing to build up could never exist, and he just accepts it
Schlatt makes the deal with Dream to kill him permanently, and in return, to make sure the same fate does not befall onto Tommy
(OR Dream threatens to permakill Tommy if Schlatt doesn’t take the deal lol)
SO, Schlatt goes into war knowing full well that he will die that day
Tommy’s POV
SO, in this ‘’canon’’ version of Dadschlatt Tommy AU, the meeting between Schlatt n Quackity is “reveal” that Tommy is Schlatt’s son
HOWEVER, it is only revealed to Quackity n Tommy, as Wilbur ran off for the button room and the others are nowhere to be found (but Dream knows ;0)
n Tommy of course is in full denial about it at first, but the way Schlatt is looking at him, with actual raw emotion? He knows it has to be true
n Quackity confirming it, (which results in a lil argument after the whole ‘traitor meeting’ n how to proceed with all that)
And Tommy just tells him to fuck off, that even if it was true, he had abandoned him and left him with nightmares. n he will never TRULY be his Dad (thus why Schlatt slinks off n makes the deal with Dream, since Dream had been watching)
But after the fact, as Tommy gets betrayed by dream n told there is a traitor among them, he can’t find himself being extremely mad at Schlatt
Schlatt had done terrible, TERRIBLE things, but all of them had been done by others. Even himself. Even the festival, where Tubbo was shot, he would still respawn. To him, it was just a glorified exile (though of course it was still wrong n Schlatt was in the wrong for doing it)
n Tommy can’t miss the fact of how Schlatt’s face faltered when he did such terrible crimes, like he actually felt GUILTY doing them
(Schlatt be doing terrible things because he feels that is what people expect from him. n again, he is slowly diving into ‘i just dont care’ territory)
And Wilbur is losing it more and more everyday, so Tommy is always out of Pogtopia (even building more homes)
n sometimes, he wanders close to Manberg, just to check up on things n how nothing is progressing
Without Quackity n Fundy, its a ghost town, with only Schlatt wandering
n sometimes, Tommy watches him stumble, the way he walks like a dead man singing...something
A familiar Lullaby, that Tommy is becoming more and more aware, of the songs he remembers yet could never place
And one day Schlatt spots Tommy watching him, n just meekly tells him to get out of his country, that Tommy doesn’t listen to
It turns into them just sitting together, in secret, saying nothing
but then it turns into Schlatt actually asking how Tommy has been, small talk n its awkward but comforting at the same time
Then Schlatt going on, slowly, about his childhood, about how he met Wilbur n SMPLive and all the people he has met
and Tommy listens, he slowly gets into the crazy stories he tells n remembers how he had looked up to Schlatt whenever Wilbur brought up his crazy business man friend long lost
Until finally, Tommy asks about his childhood, n Schlatt tells him of what had happened. Of how he found him, how he was raised and...the explosion
It is only a day before the war, after his talk with Sapnap, that Tommy realizes that he DOES want to save his Dad. and of course, Schlatt would never replace Phil, n vise versa, but he does actually want to try.
n Schlatt is just happy he gets to spend these little moments with Tommy, something he never imagined happening, before the war takes his life :)
The Van Scene
Tommy refuses to kill Schlatt in the van, no matter how much everyone is goading him but that’s fine
Schlatt had already drank the potion before everyone got into the hut, n is just laying there, very still
The scene with Fundy/Schlatt doesn’t happen because, Dadschlatt Vibe
n Tommy comes in and he’s screaming, trying to get Schlatt on his feet n refusing to let people closer n try n kill him (even tho Wilbur REALLY wants Schlatt dead)
And in all this, Tommy takes off his helmet n hat to reveal all his features to everyone, everyone on the server gets to see Tommy
Even if respawn is on btw, Tommy knows deep down something is wrong about Schlatt this time
n Schlatt is smiling because there he is! That’s his son! At least, even if he is dying, he could see his son one last time
Of course, then Schlatt starts singing, very quietly so only Tommy could hear over all the chaos, his favorite lullaby
Until the darkness takes over his vision, n the warmth leaves his body.
:)
(Of course there is also the version Schlatt tricks Dream n drinks the wrong potion that kills him, probably regular harming, n goes off into exile w only Connor knowing where he is, n Tommy but u know, angst time)
Also after all this, the plot continues “””as normal””” but with more patronizing from Dream n everyone still being sus @ him especially with the horns but you know. But now Connor being a very important character of helping Tommy remember his past while Schlatt is dead (or is he? lmao)
#dadschlatt tommy au#dream smp#dream smp spoilers#tommyinnit#jschlatt#this might be a mess but yeah here are me thoughts!#i might make a seperate post of how tommy n schlatt dealt with all these changes during the election/festival but u know#this takes presidence of its fresh in my mind still

SELF INDULGENT APOLLO JUSTICE ACE ATTORNEY AU BECAUSE IT BRINGS ME JOY ( SPOILER WARNING ⚠️‼️)
@burnoutandbookworms-ohmy you wanted to be tagged :>
okay so the cast would be as follows
apollo - tommy
phoenix - wilbur
trucy - tubbo
klavier - ranboo (this one's ambitious but hear me out-)
kristoph - dream
ema - techno
lamiroir - kristin
zak - phil (F in chat for mr minecraft 😔)
and then all of the filler characters would be various other smp members (suggestions?)
so then the plot would go as follows (we're bullet pointing this bitch you better run)
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•
• so tommy arrives in the courtroom with dream, and he's nervous as hell, because not only is it his first trial
• his client is wilbur fucking soot
• world renouned defense attorney, now disbarred for forging evidence
• but tommy is 110% sure wilbur is innocent
• because wilbur is his HERO
• and then dream introduces them and damn he looks like shit
• i'm talking full pogtopia era get-up, plus a ratty beanie that has wilby painted on it and a crown pin
• so wil spouts the standard cryptic bullshit you'd expect from phoenix
• and tommy does an early smpe earth 'i am so cool and not at all starstruck' type act
• and they head in
• you meet the judge, who i didn't replace bc it's the judge
• tommy does his chords of steel, but with significantly more swearing then apollo would use
• and dream seems to be just a bit off
• and he goes on this big tirade about blue cards
• the case goes smoothly, until
• tommy feels something akin to a burning from the compass he's kept as a necklace for as long as he can remember
• and he just knows that the witness is lying
• it's like he can see the tiniest of tells that tip him off
• dream doesn't quite understand it, but wilbur looks like he knows exactly what's going on
• before he calls this out, though, a recess is called
• wilbur and dream have a chat, so tommy's left to his own devices
• and this boy about his age in a green magician's outfit runs up to him
• and he looks like an older version of the picture of wilbur's kid that he showed off in court beforehand
• and he hands tommy a (bloody??) playing card and poofs away
• then the trial resumes as normal, with tommy grilling the witness and eventually accusing her
• but it just doesn't seem right
• he knows she's not lying about being innocent, her tells would have tipped him off if she was
• but dream pushes and pushes him to formally accuse her
• until wilbur fucking soot interjects with an OBJECTION!
• while tommy geeks the hell out, wilbur asserts that there must have been someone else in the room
• and accuses dream.
• tommy's confused, and the both of them argue back and forth for a bit, until wilbur starts explaining his theory with evidence from tommy along the way
• but it's seeming like they don't have any non circumstancial evidence
• until wilbur has tommy pull out the playing card
• (i haven't been explaining the case but it makes sense i promise)
• they win the case, with dream never faltering or showing emotion, even after being taken away
• tommy's shaken up, but happy, all things considered
• but before he can ponder on what's just happened, wilbur takes him aside to talk
• and admits the card was forged
• tommy's shocked, and he's sad, and he's angry, because how could wilbur fucking soot forge evidence??
• and he punches him in the face
• wil smiles and gives him an offer to work at his office, since tommy's boss is kind of in jail
• tommy leaves
• but he comes back a few months later, only out of desperation
• he's greeted by the boy from the trial (wil's kid?)
• who demands to know his name and his 'talent'
• tommy says he's a lawyer and introduces himself
• the kid says his name is tubbo and that the building hasn't been a law office in a long time
• tommy asks to see wilbur
• so they go to see him
• in the fucking hospital
• he managed to get hit by a car, which sent him flying 40ft back into a telephone pole
• and he sprained his ankle
• he's very lucky apparently
• so from there, cases 2 and 3 play out (i'm gonna skim though these bc if i write them out ill end up rewriting plot points and i don't have the energy)
• along the way, they meet a few interesting people
• ranboo, a prosecutor who's dream's younger brother and the guitarist for a popular band, that tubbo immediately gets along with and tommy despises
• dispite seeming cocky, he's impressively awkward outside of court
• technoblade, a detective who's fairly standoffish towards tommy and tubbo alike, but has a soft spot for wilbur (do they have a history)
• kristin, a singer with a past she can't remember (unbeknownst to tommy, his compass tends to point towards her and tubbo. odd)
also before we move on to the final case, a quick summary of the dynamics and other small shit bc seritonin
• though wil adopted tubbo, they have much more of a sibling dynamic, and cause general mayhem
• wilbur does actually warm up to tommy fairly quickly (beanix and apollo dynamic, my abbhorrent) and while tommy still doesn't 100% trust wil, they do end up getting pretty close as time goes on
• tubbo and ranboo IMMEDIATELY hit it off, much to the dismay of tommy, and the two of them act like the dummy named micheal that tubbo uses for magic tricks is their son
• tommy acts like he hates ranboo's guts, but that won't stop him from trying to sweet talk his way into getting evidence from him (it always works, ranboo has no spine.) he also, like in canon, vents to ranboo whenever he needs to, and ranboo ends up knowing more ab him then even wil and tubbo
• jack is eldoon. they all go to his noodle shop constantly and tommy always complains about them being too salty. jack hates him with a passion but adores tubbo and wil
• instead of snakooos, techno deadass just has entire bags full of raw potatoes that he eats like chips, this is terrifying to everyone except wilbur, who acts like it's completely normal
• instead of pretending to be taken hostage in case 2, tubbo deadass pretends to have a nuke and threatens to set it off unless a recess is called. after things calm down they go back in and he just,, doesn't get arrested. the law is fucked
• after case 1, dream wears a smiley mask in order to not show his face, paranoid that tommy or someone else like him will know his secrets though his tells
okay now final case here we go
• wilbur tells tommy and tubbo that he's been working on a special trial with the jury system, and that he needs them to defend
• they agree, and go to meet the client
• things generally go like any other investigation, but there's just something about it that feels game changing
• and as they power though the first part of the trial, they start to uncover that there might be someone pulling the strings from behind the scenes
• tommy clocks her tell (chewing her nails) and they start to make progress
• but before they can uncover answers from her, she passes out
• a recess is called, and so are paramedics
• it turns out she's ingested the same kind of poison as the victim, coming from her nail polish
• tommy and tubbo are shaken up, and they go to wil for help
• he decides they need to know the full truth, but he knows that some of the evidence is lost at this point
(and holy shit stay with me here i promise that as out of left field this is the original game made significantly less sense)
• he phones a friend that he knows is the only one that can help them
• karl
• he explains the situation, and karl agrees to help them
• and they fucking time travel
(again, the game makes even less sense i promise)
• they chat with the victim and defendant from seven years beforehand, right after wil was disbarred
• they watch the trial wil got disbarred over, where he defended tubbo's bio father, phil
• and they see a much smaller tubbo hand wil the forged evidence, saying that a kind man told him to give it to the man with the bright blue hamilton suit
• and they watch wil present it, only to be shot down by a much younger ranboo, who proves it's fake
• and they find out tubbo and tommy are bio siblings, which they're shocked about but decide to talk about later (fuck canon tommy and tubbo get to know)
• and they go visit dream in prison
• at this point wil is CONVINCED dream is behind everything, they just need the right evidence
• so they head to the cell, only for it to be empty
• naturally, they start snooping
• wil finds a letter, and opens it to reveal exactly what they need to win the case

Okay so I saw
This post ^^
And I was like
Wait wait wait okay okay hang on wait a damn minute-
Because this is cursed rite we all know this is cursed but somethin about it got me thinkin it got me thinking quite a lot and it’s the idea of Callahans character being deaf and like obviously the way it’s done here is bad but it got me thinking okay well what if you did it well? What if it wasn’t garbage? What if it became a super important part of the show?
I think I have a new favorite au now?
Okay listen listen let me explain right-Callahan would still be a side character to the side characters but first things first he’d talk using sign language and literally the first thing that he signs when people try and talk to him is that he’s deaf. He also wouldn’t be able to understand people who talk to him, they’d have to either sign, write something down, or be super expressive. (Ik a lot of deaf people read lips but I feel like in media with deaf people almost all the time they like fully rely on lip reading and their almost superhumanly good at it and idk I think it would be cool for a deaf character to just not lip read-hardly ever) so now the fact that he’s deaf isn’t just something that you can drop in interviews for brownie points. Still, he’s hardly ever there and he’s not really a part of the story and that’s just kind of annoying and for a while it seems like that’s just how it’s gonna be, just one background background deaf character who’s pretty cool but who we almost never get to see...
But the explosions that went off during the pogtopia manburg war where pretty fuckin loud
And Quackity was right on top of them. He might’ve lost a cannon life to them-it’s kinda up for debate but for the purpose of the au we’re gonna say he did, because losing a cannon life affects your body. Your body changes to suit how you died-you get scars from losing a cannon life.
Here’s where it gets good
One of the next episodes post war is 100% Quackity focused and he wakes up in a bed and he’s like welp lets just hope I’m not as bad off as Tubbo was. There’s no rustling noise when he moves the sheets and blankets to look at himself, at this point the viewer might realize there’s no music in the background either, there’s no ambient noises from outside. Quackity sees he doesn’t have visible scaring anywhere and he’s like that’s weird but good for me? I guess? He walks outside and his footsteps don’t make any noise. Tubbo runs up to him and starts talking-except he’s not making any noise either. His mouth is moving but there’s no sound coming out of it. Both quackity and the viewer are currently experiencing what’s going on in 100% silence and Quackity starts to panic. A scar would’ve been fine, a limb he can live without, but this??? He can’t hear! He can’t hear anything! Fuck is he supposed to do now?
He runs to Sapnap and Karl, they’re not dating yet but they make him feel safe and he doesn’t know where else to go or what to do and Sapnaps like “I know a guy” but neither the audience nor Quackity hears him say it. His mouth moves but again, no sound. Nothing. Still he makes it clear that he has an idea and that he’ll be right back. Mans fuckin books it to Callahan and after a bit of frantic gestures and sloppy sign language because ya know of course Sapnap did try to learn sign to talk to Callahan at some point he just doesn’t practice nearly enough, Callahan comes over to Quackity and starts teaching him and Karl ASL and gives Sapnap a much needed review course.
That’s it. That’s the episode. An entire episode that’s 100% silent with no subtitles, that’s just Quackity learning how to function without being able to hear. In the places where Callahan can’t help Sapnap and Karl come in. Tubbo gets in on it too since he’s deaf in one ear ever since the festival. (Quackitys like damn cheif I didn’t even kno that and Tubbo admits to thinking it was just him being in shock for a long time until a bee flew around his ear for 20 minutes straight a week after the festival had happened and he didn’t know it was there until Tommy asked if he was gonna name it.) Quackity learns how to talk when he can’t hear himself speaking, how to read lips, what music is like when you can’t hear it, how to speak sign language, all that jazz.
One of the things about being deaf that scares the shit out of Quackity is not being able to hear people sneaking up on him and Tubbos like “oh you need a spotter” and Quackity makes it clear that he has no idea what the fuck that means. So Tubbo explains “a spotter, I don’t know if they actually have a different name but I call them that cuz they cover your blind spot. They’re like your eyes and ears where you don’t have any. That way nobody can sneak up on you.” If the audience is particularly observant they’ll realize that ever since the festival Tommy has always stood on Tubbos right, witch is where Tubbo had gotten scarred. (Later on after Tommy’s exiled Quackity and sometimes Fundy become the ones to cover Tubbos right, but Tubbo is more clearly on constant high alert than he used to be. On a few days like the one before the capturing techno and the one before the second festival he’s straight up jumpy and he hates it) So Quackity of course has a lot of questions is this is pretty important. “well how do I know who I should get to be my spotter? Do they need like training or something? Should I just get a service dog? ???” And Tubbos like “No. Well-maybe that’s the proper way to do it but I’d just go with someone I trust my life with-whoever makes you feel safest, go with that” and Sapnap and Karl start laughing like idiots because Quackity IMMEDIATELY grabs them-like Tubbos barley finished his sentence and Quackitys like ah yes
The hardest part is preserving Quackitys ability to speak Spanish, because he’s the only one who knows it so Karl Sapnap and Tubbo can’t tell him weather he’s pronouncing it right or not and none of them know Spanish sign language. Hell Karl and Tubbo didn’t even know Spanish sign language existed until that day. After a bit of panicking Sapnap is like “wait I know a guy” and Quackity can actually tell what he’s saying this time. (Woo parallels) So sapnap and Co. go to George who’s king now and has access to all of Erets king stuff. Turns out Erets castle has a whole shelf of translation guides for different languages and their sign language counterparts. She kept them for diplomacy reasons. It’s much harder to learn without Callahan teaching it, but progress is made and the gang decides they’ll keep working on learning it together. There’s still the problem of Quackity not being able to speak Spanish though, they end up going with does Quackity sound like how he normally does rn? for figuring out if he’s pronouncing things right. Karl and Sapnap are surprisingly good at being able to tell.
But here’s the best part rite:
So after this episode Quackity, Karl, Sapnap, Tubbo, and obvs Callahan all know sign language-they don’t all know it perfectly nobody’s gonna master it in a day but they’re working on it. And so now in later episodes in addition to the gang talking in sign language a lot when they’re the focus of a scene, you can make them talk to eachother in sign language while other stuff is going on!! No subtitles to translate or draw attention to it, some people might not even notice its happening, but if you watch them you can see them signing to eachother. You could add so many convos and lore and secrets and the best part is if the audience wants in on it they also have to learn sign language!!
Literally just-oh my god it would be the coolest thing okay like immagine:
Ranboos doing his dramatic speech to everyone. Y’all know the one-the one before doomsday after Tommy gets out of exhile. So like Ranboos doing his bit and Fundy and Nikki are arguing with him and :0! what’s this? Look in the background and Tubbo and Quackity are signing to eachother, Quackitys angry and Tubbo is somehow angrier and you watch them more closely to see what the hell is going on and realize (with your sign language knowledge)-they’re fighting about executing Ranboo.
LIKE HOW FUCKING COOL WOULD THAT BE HOLY SHIT
Anyways I have so many headcannons for this now I think it’s the coolest thing if there’s like a tag? Or something? For this thatd be so fuckin cool if there isn’t I feel like I should make one but idk what to call it ion know man I just think this is poggers as hell. To think it all sprung from someone making a DreamSMP as a garbage riverdale show joke

Today I’m departing from my normal analysis content to bring you all an Overly Long Analysis of Foolish’s lore!
Why? Because I love him dearly and that was literally the best thing that came out of the Red Banquet...
Am I late to this? Yes, but, you know... better late then never, am I right?
As always from here on out I will be talking about the character in the rp unless stated otherwise
Sadly, Foolish does not have a vod channel, so the only link I can provide here is the twitch link: Death? - Dream SMP (LORE)
The stream starts with Foolish’s death scene at the Red Banquet. To be more exact, during Puffy’s and Ant’s discussion.
Now, it’s important to give a bit of context to all of this:
The Red Banquet was a trap organized by the Eggpire to kill anyone who ever opposed it (and Hbomb... which is fair). After a bunch of uno reverse scenes it looks like the Eggpire is winning and, at first, they call up Eret to be executed. Foolish opposes this by trying to summon lightning once again to destory the Egg, but this fails and Foolish is put on the chopping block instead. Puffy loudly opposes this as Foolish is her son (aopted or just son-figure? I’m not sure) and her and Ant get into a discussion about this where Ant blames her for everything that happened because she left the Eggpire, while she debates that, no, their actions are their own responsability and she was trying to do her best all the while Foolish tries to reassure Puffy that, indeed, it isn’t her fault. The debate then gets cut short by Ant executing Foolish.
Screen cuts to black and we hear the distorted voice of the Egg before Foolish comes back inside the green light of his beacon in his pyramid.
Now, I think that one of the most interesting things about this stream was the great weight given to the death, despite it being Foolish’s first one, but also the idea of Foolish, who is a God of life, formerly God of death, coming to the realization that even he is not immune to death and coming to the slow realization that he is now scared. In fact, he is terrified of dying, but that’s not all. He is also scared of the Egg and scared of going back to what he once was. Of course I’ll be talking more in depth about it, but this are the general themes of the stream: coming to terms with mortality, coming to terms with fears and confronting his past.
His first reactions to being back are confusion and then denial:
“Wha...? No... was that...? Is- did I...? Did I d...?” and right after “No. No no no no no. I’m immortal. No no no no no"
Also, cool description of death: “It felt different, it was- I- I felt something, I was- I was somewhere, but it was- it was nowhere it was... it was dark but it wasn’t just nothing”
After his moment of disorientation is over Foolish remembers about the Baqnuet and immediately starts wondering what happened there and wether the other partecipants were still alive. His musings though get interrupted by the Egg who starts talking once again to him, this time though the Egg’s voice is not distorted, which could indicate the link between them getting stronger after part of Foolish’s life force went to feed the Egg.
“Where are you? I know that voice!” “I am in your mind” “No. No no no...” “I am in your soul” “No! no no no no. This is- this is just tricks, games. This is... something new” “It is not a dream” “Is this- is this the Egg?”
So, at first Foolish is still in denial, he recognizes the voice as he’s spoken with the Egg in the past, but he doesn’t admit that that’s who he is talking with until the Egg points out that everything that Foolish is experiencing is real. Which is interesting because, up until that moment, he was also fully in denial about his death and only start questioning that afterwards.
“Call me what you want, I have many names as you know but you’ve forgotten” “What do you mean? What do you mean? No no no no, I never heard of you before, wasn’t that long ago that I first met you. You’re something new, something that I’ve never met before”
Now, before jumping the gun and saying that Foolish is yet another member of the amnesiac gang, we have to remember that Foolish has: 1) lived a really long life and probably seen lots of things, forgetting something is normal and 2) Foolish seems to do an active effort to repress anything having to do with his past as a Totem of Death. The second one is what I want to focus on because the Egg seems to have known Foolish back when he was still covering that role, as it’ll be mentioned later. It is also possible that when Foolish and the Egg first met the Egg wasn’t in this form (after all we know that it does have another form) and Foolish simply fails to realize that the 2 are the same thing.
“I’m an ancient one, even more ancient then you”
We did have some idea of this with both “The Masquerade” and “The Village That Went Mad” from tftsmp alluding to it (the second one mostly through Ponk’s lore), but now we’ve had the confirmation that the Egg is indeed something that has existed for a long time (how powerful that makes it is debatable considering how the story has framed it thus far).
“I’m not afraid of you! Even after all that I’m still... not afraid”
Denial seems to be Foolish’s first response to anything new he experiences. I’m sure someone smarter then me could draw some interesting parallels to Tubbo here, but that’s not me!
“Afraid... you are truly Foolish if you thought you were stronger then me... you should be afraid” “Maybe... maybe I had it wrong. Maybe I thought I was stronger... but I’m still here!”
The confident facade is starting to crumble, although he has yet to accept the fact that he has in fact died or that he may be truly afraid, some doubts are starting to creep in.
“Foolish, when we met you said you feared nothing, but now I can sense your fear Foolish” “No no” “You fear death itself” “No!” “Don’t you~?”
The taunting continues and more of the facade keeps crumbling. It seems for once that the Egg is in fact capable of manipulation (which I started to doubt as it failed to corrupt most people it came in contact with). The Egg seems to know what are Foolish’s weak points at the very least.
“I know who you are, even though you have forgotten something of what you are”
After this premise Foolish challenges the Egg to tell him something only he would know. So first of all the Egg brings up Foolish’s secret room and ‘what he keeps in there’ and, at first, Foolish’s ponts out that the Egg could be lying, but then realizes that it is, in fact, in his head and starts to find a way to get rid of it. Later the Egg picks this up again revealing that it knows about the deal with Ranboo to try and stop Foolish from getting rid of it.
“You still think like you’re gonna get me to join your side? It’s not gonna happen!”
And here we get Foolish’s refusal and the actual motive for why the Egg is even talking to him in the first place. The Egg tries to convince him to join it by harping on that Foolish how he is now is “weak” and tries to convince him to go back to how he was before, when he was a Totem of Death. But, as I said, Foolish actively despises his past and he doesn’t bend to the promises of power because, as a matter of fact, he tried that already and it didn’t work for him. Foolish has no interest in power (he still desperately searches for control though) which is actually quite unique for a Dsmp character...
“I’ve tried ‘power’ in the past and it doesn’t work! It doesn’t work! You can’t just use overwhelming force, it works for... short-term at best” (...) “I can’t control the actions of the world through overwhelming power, it doesn’t work. It just doesn’t”
(Wish the dumbasses from Doomsday would learn this...)
Either way Foolish explains that strenght, power and violence didn’t work for him in the past because they simply can’t work. Not long term at least. All the while building provides him with a sense of control over his own creations satisfying both his desire for control and his desire to create.
“Deep down you miss the power you once held. Go back to being a Totem of Death and together we can rule and create peace. Peace is what you want, right Foolish?” “Yes but it doesn’t work that way! It doesn’t work that way! It’ll never work that way...”
After a few moments of hesitation their conversation draws to a close with Foolish bathing himself in the water from Church Prime, with a honestly iconinc line: “You know, and I mean this in the most polite way possible, go to Hell”. This is also when the facade he’s had to somewhat keep up until now completely crumbles. Suddenly he realizes that he is too late to help anyone and doesn’t even know if anyone is still alive at all. He also starts confronting the fact that he died and the implication of this being that he is mortal. He also confronts the fact that he is scared.
“Did I really die?” “Why am I afraid of it?” “How can I live such a long life and be afraid of it to end?” “I don’t see beauty in mortality” “I can’t die, can I?” “Even if I could die, why am I so afraid?” “The answers... I just want answers!”
He doesn’t find answers to his panic induced questions but, then again, he is not supposed to. Death doesn’t have a meaning, it’s just a function of life, nothing lasts forever. The same goes with fear. Even if in this case it is far from
inexplicable for him to be afraid of the Egg or of dying (as one was the direct cause of the other in his case), fear is still an emotion. Emotions aren’t rational by definition. Basically what I’m saying is that there aren’t always answers to be had. Sometimes questions are meant to remain as such and that’s what makes them meaningful.
“Every time I thought I knew the Egg, every time I though I understood, I never had it right? Was I arrogant about it the whole time?”
He also seems to have developed a level of paranoia about the Egg, wondering how much it knew, how many people knew about his stuff, if he is safe anywhere or if the Egg was right about him and what he wanted. He also starts questioning his own perception of reality and wondering if the Banquet itself was just an illusion created by the Egg.
It’s also interesting that Foolish remains of the opinion that no-one in the Eggpire is at fault. No matter what happens to him he still sees the Egg as a sort of infection and all those under it’s control as victims just as much as anyone else the Egg harms.
(Also the sun is used once more as a simbol of hope, though Foolish describes it as “cruel” because it disappears)
The stream ends with Foolish promising to himself that he’ll figure things out. Though, as I said before, sometimes the point of a question is to not have an answer.
#foolish__gamers#the egg#the crimson#dream smp#red banquet#character analysis#long post#my post#foolish my beloved <3#this stream was amazing!#and I'll be honest I have not seen enough people talking about it...#like even if the red banquet was a bit underwhelming this one was top tier!#I highly suggest watching it for anyone who hasn't yet#it's like 30 minutes anyway

Unpopular Opinion /lh /rp
Talking about dSMP character’s heights and sort of their body types? Not in a weird way just in a ‘how I imagine them’ way. Loosely based off of their irl heights, but some of them I don’t know, so it’s mostly guesswork and vibes. Also if you disagree you’re wrong. (Just kidding leave your ideas in the tags/replies)
Obviously this is all roleplay/character stuff. None of it is intended to be weird or to reflect on the irl people! I’m just having fun with headcanons :)
Tommy is 6′3 and very very lanky. This child is not short. Stop drawing him short. He’s taller than Techno. He’s not as tall as Wilbur, but he’s tall. He towers over most people. Emphasis on most because everyone is so tall on this server what the hell?
Anyway I think the mental image of this super tall kid actively trying to make himself look shorter/smaller is heartbreaking. Like imagine him curled up into a corner trying to make himself as unnoticable as possible in Logsted. Imagine him slouching when living with Techno to try to make himself seem like less of a ‘problem’. Imagine Dream telling him that he’s a ‘big strong man’ and that he shouldn’t need help, he can defend himself, so when he goes back to Tubbo, he tries to make himself look *tiny* as a cry for help. He wants comfort.
But he’s also incedibly skinny. Back in L’manburg and Pogtopia, he developed some muscle from all the fighting. His shoulders broadened out and he looked slightly intimidating. But like most teenage boys, he was still lanky as hell. This only got worse when he was exiled to Logstedshire, with little food (and no drive to eat the food, or get up, or exersise) he became more malnourished and he just looked *small* despite being 6′3. This probably isn’t helped by the constant use of golden apples when he moves in with Techno, which give him energy and strength but no real nutritional value. Techno was just trying to get the kid to eat normally. When he finally stands at his full height, Techno is shocked that he didn’t notice all the slouching.
Anyway Techno is 6′2. He’s taller than a lot of people but not as tall as his brothers. He makes up for this with muscle and strength and a healthy body. Wow, the only healthy person on the server. Amazing. You love to see it. Good for him. He could win in a battle of raw strength against anyone else on the server. He’s quite broad, which makes him look bigger generally.
Wilbur is 6′5 and also he is a stick. Just. Straight up and down stick. Nothing there! He is just a pale sickly stick. This gets worse the further into the timeline you go. When claiming L’manburg and fighting in the war he starts to get insomnia, causing him to look like a corpse half the time. When in Pogtopia, he’s too busy to take care of himself properly, so he only looks worse and worse. His hair is a mess, his skin is far too pale, and he only eats enough to be able to hold his own in a short fight. There’s a reason he doesn’t wear armour or really try to fight at all. He’s subconciously self-destructive, then actively so when he blows the place to the ground. He’s always been too busy for self-care.
Ghostbur is a much more healthy, younger version of Wilbur. I would say he’s ‘water rising’ era Wilbur. The life returned to his body, in a morbid kind of way. He’s still tall but he prefers to make himself seem shorter just to be less threatening.
Phil is 5′11. He has an average build, with slight muscle from the years of playing in hardcore. He’s older, now, but he can still kick your ass. Also, he taught Techno how to fight smart, not hard. He doesn’t need to be super strong because he’s intelligent enough to outwit most people on the server. He has a wordly knowledge that others don’t possess. He also has wings, large and grey, clipped so he could get onto the server (there is a no flying rule after all).
Fundy is... 5′10, just a little shorter than Phil. His fox genes make him smaller, despite his father being 6′5. He’s got a healthy, svelte build. He’s sneaky and light on his feet. In the wars he built up some muscle, but it was quickly lost since he prefers to take a backseat to any fighting outside of those times (especially now) and he’s built for spying.
Schlatt is an interesting one because a lot of people are gonna fight me on this, but he’s not actually old. Everyone calls him old but honestly I think he’s younger than Wilbur (in canon, I feel like Wilbur is in his late 30s, early 40s, simply because). I think Schlatt’s around 35-ish, but he looks older due to his shitty health. People call him an old man either to demean him or because they see his actions and appearance and go ‘yeah, this guy is old’. Which is fair enough, because irl Schlatt and c!Schlatt both act like they’re from the 1950s.
This guy looks like shit by the end, but he looks alright at the start. Slicked-back hair, sharp ram horns, golden animalistic eyes. He’s intimidating. And loud. Then everything shifts, right towards the end. He’s frail and deteriorating throughout his short presidency, and by the end of it he’s practically a corpse, just like Wilbur.
He’s 6′3, with broad shoulders and a silhouette that seems strong not only because he carries himself as if he can fight, but also because of the percieved power that comes along with it. In reality, Schlatt is a poor fighter, and the abuse he ends up putting his body through (working out excessively to try to fight his condition, and turning to alcoholism as an escape) completely destroys him, making him probably one of the least healthy and weakest people on the server. It doesn’t really show until his death scene, since he’s covered up the deterioration since day one. Basically, mans is dead.
Glatt, or Ghost Schlatt, or whatever you want to call him, would be a healthier Schlatt. Again, from the ‘water rising’ era. I headcanon him to have longer hair in that era. Not sure why.
Ranboo is the same height as tommy, but is more naturally lithe than made that way by lack of food. His enderman DNA can be blamed for that. He’s healthy most of the time, but may have spirals where he doesn’t take good care of himself (perhaps he forgets) and he looks pretty bad. If he goes a few days without keeping up his self-care routine, he looks a lot worse than he actually is. Sleep tends to be his biggest issue, his mind keeping him awake all night and leaving him looking like shit in the morning. Really, he’s just a kid with a troubled soul, and it shows sometimes. Most days, though, he looks very well put together.
Tubbo. He’s 5′6. He’s more childlike than Tommy, which only makes it worse when he acts in the way he does in season 2. He has burn scars across one side of his body, from his execution, and he is partially blind in one eye because of it. He takes very good care of himself, since he has to look good while being president if he wants those sweet sweet approval ratings. But when he’s super stressed, he will pull all-nighters and forget to eat. He’s got a lot of issues, but his body is very normal and healthy, all things considered.
Quackity is 5′8. Which is really funny because that’s his actual height. He’s less sharp (?) than a lot of people on the server, but he has some muscle because he’s constantly training to ‘take down Technoblade’ (in reality, it’s a habit he picked up in Schlatt’s era, and never had the heart to drop). He tries his best to stay healthy (again, to better kill Techno) and he’s careful with his life, knowing that it’s his last.
Niki is 5′5. She’s also able to kick so much ass. That is all.
Dream is a bitch and therefore I will not be discussing him. Also he’s a blob or whatever so I guess height is irrelevant. Or maybe he’s a mysterious figure with a mask. Who knows.
No one else is important enough to talk about /j (but really I’m tired so I will stop here). Put your own thoughts in the comments, tags, and rbs. This was all in good fun, so don’t get mad haha.

kiss it off me - chapter one
❦ ❧ ❦
dreamnap
❦ ❧ ❦
Dream's eyes raked frantically over the limited options in his wardrobe. He was already running late thanks to rush hour traffic and he didn't want to mess up this date. Not when this guy actually seemed normal and someone he could genuinely grow to like. Being in his situation didn't exactly give him the opportunity to go out that much and neither of his best friends beloved him until he showed them the message.
Long, calloused fingers ran over the various hangers until he reached a dark green button up. They were going to a restaurant but not an extremely fancy one so he could get away with a pair of jeans with it. Glancing in the mirror on the adjacent wall, Dream ran a hand through his dirty blond locks tousling them until he was satisfied.
He slowly buttoned up the emerald fabric until he got to the top two. After a brief moment of consideration he left them both open purposefully, it looked better that way. Bronzed skin exposed along with his prominent collarbone. Even he couldn’t find a fault with his appearance.
Swallowing the nerves that were building up inside he forced himself out the door knowing that if he stayed any longer he would just talk himself out of it.
He left the small apartment and jogged down the stairs to the lobby before exiting it to find his old, run-down car. It struggled to run most days but seeing as it still worked and Dream couldn't afford a new one yet, he made do.
The engine hummed nosily when he started the car and reversed out of his space. Soft music played in the background in an attempt to calm his desperately trembling knuckles so he didn't crash his car before he even got there. His journey was familiar along with the flashing scenery that disappeared just as quickly as it came into peripheral .
Dream sped along the winding roads to the other side of town where his closest and only real friends George and Wilbur resided with Wilbur's son Tommy. Seeing as he was also a single father, both of them made an effort to help each other out when they needed it except it was usually Wilbur helping Dream since he had the additional help of George. But Wilbur got it. Sure their situations weren’t the exact same but it was comforting to have someone so close to him in the same scenario.
As he reached their apartment block, Dream halted the car rapidly and grabbed the small bag he placed in the passenger seat and he slammed the door. Running up the stairs was difficult since they lived on a much higher floor than him and the elevator was out of use.
Unfortunately he didn't get to go to the gym as much as he would've liked to. In high school he'd been rather athletic and got a lot of attention for it. But that's what landed him in his current situation. Not that he didn't appreciate the blessing that came out of his mistake but there was always a small feeling of regret in the back of his mind.
Noise was emitted from their apartment from the stairwell and Dream chuckled when he heard the shrieks of laughter that undoubtedly belonged to Tommy.
The scene he was greeted with upon opening the creaky door was one that was typical of visiting George and Wilbur's place after work. Tommy and Tubbo were being chased by Wilbur as the two young boys who still had the remnants of their dinner smeared around their mouths attempted to bang on the door which he knew lead to George's room.
It was more of a struggle than he'd like to admit to hold back his sniggers at the sight. Tommy terrorised his dad's roommate at any given chance, even without Tubbo, but having his best friend at his side just amped up that energy and fed into his mischievous tendencies.
Their frantic dashing around the living room, trying to get into George's room which also functioned as his office proved to be futile as Wilbur scooped them gently into his arms and then strung the duo who were still shrieking with obnoxious laughter onto his shoulders, tickling their sides lightly as he did so.
Only then did Tubbo notice his dad's presence at the doorway. He nearly jumped off from where he was perched comfortably on Wilbur's shoulder. Running into Dream's arms with an excited squeal and attaching onto his leg, bearing a startling resemblance to a koala. This was a moment of domestic bliss. Of elevated suburbia to where it could be considered art. Dream had lifted his child off his leg and pulled him closely into his chest. Tubbo snuggled into him and let out a content sigh as Dream rubbed comforting little circles into his back.
The moment was short lived, Tommy was climbing his leg - well attempting to climb it so he could reach Tubbo and they could go back to playing together. Eventually Dream put Tubbo back on the ground gently and reluctantly watched as the two boys immediately engaged themselves in their previous game. Will shook his head fondly at the joyful giggles that filled the apartment once more.
Seeming to sense that it was safe to come out for a while, George emerged from his room but not before making sure to lock it after himself. Tommy had gotten in once before and been such a menace that they banned him from going in there. To tell the truth Dream was envious of the taller man who adorned mustard yellow sweaters and had the support of his family along with his perfect best friend. Dream was all alone.
Sure he had Tubbo who was more than enough, his little boy alone could make him infinitely happy. However his heart ached and longed for some kind of support, whether it was platonic or romantic. Wilbur and George server the platonic purpose but he didn't like to intrude on them more than he already did. They were already extremely helpful by collecting Tubbo from school with Tommy everyday because Dream would never be able to make it in time. Maybe if this date worked out though, he might find his other half.
Dream wasn't certain he believed in soulmates. In high school when he was beyond naive, the idea had seemed perfectly plausible and he truly believed he had found his in Tubbo's mother. Well that didn't end up being the case he reminded himself whenever his mind would drift to her. It never happened intentionally but Tubbo had her eyes and he couldn't meet his gaze without thinking of the woman who broke his heart into smithereens.
The concept wasn't something he had a lot of faith in anymore but maybe this time it could be different. That was a lot of faith to put in a tinder date of all things though. Even with George and Wilbur persistently trying to get him back into dating for the last year and a half, Dream had politely refused their efforts. Well, until now.
He remembered it clearly like yesterday, the three of them sat on the couch after Wilbur and Dream had put the boys to bed which was a challenge. Tommy and Tubbo were a nightmare to get to sleep when they were having a sleepover and you had to exhaust them to ensure they didn't wake up ten minutes later and start chatting for half the night. George hadn't bothered to help them and had instead chosen to nap on the couch but not after opening a bottle of red wine and pouring himself a glass.
Dream and Wilbur had found him half asleep on the grey fabric, wine glass tipping dangerously in his hand. Dream had placed it on the coffee table as George stirred in his sleep and blinked wearily. The three men all held a glass of red wine and maintained idle chatter until a natural halt occurred in the conversation. In which Dream seized the opportunity to try bring up something that had been lingering in the back of his mind for a while. And what better people to ask than his two closest friends. His two only friends.
It was impossible to forget the cheshire grin that formed on Wilbur's face after he confided in them about his loneliness and wanting to get back into dating. Dream was shaking inside as they discussed it, heart fluttering and beating so rapidly that it felt as though it would just burst out of his chest as any moment without warning. Both of them had relished in the opportunity to tease him lightly but he knew it was just their way of showing support.
George had grabbed his laptop with a slight smirk and began typing so quickly that Dream couldn't tell what he was doing. Wilbur raised an eyebrow at what George was setting up before the two of them turned around at the same time, facing him eerily.
"I feel like I'm about to be inducted into a cult," Dream commented, a nervous air to his tone.
Wilbur shared a glance with George "not a cult but we're signing you up to tinder..."
His eyes widened comically fast "wait what? guys I can barely talk to you in person - I won't be able to hold a conversation with some stranger online."
"You were literally the biggest Chad in school," George pointed out "you'll be fine."
Dream still wasn't convinced about the idea "but isn't this more of a like straight person thing...shouldn't we use grindr?"
In sync again, to the point where Dream was actually both curious and concerned about how many times they must practice this, George and Wilbur shared a look and appeared to be on the edge of laughter.
"What?" Dream asked, not getting why they found it so funny. Maybe it was just the contrast to how straight he'd acted and thought he was in high school and now he was fully out.
"Oh innoncent little Dreamie," Wilbur teased condescendingly while George giggled "you're too classy for grindr darling."
Whether that supposed to be a compliment or some weird backhanded one Dream didn't know "isn't it for gay guys though?"
George seemed to have had enough of drawing out the whole situation "it depends Dream, do you want to get dicked down for a night or do you want to try find a relationship."
"I'm not leaving Tubbo for a night just to get dick," Dream said pointedly "and wait...are you calling me a bottom?"
George clapped his hands together awkwardly "so anyway for your pictures I was thinking-"
Dream was persistent though and a mischievous gleam that was oddly similar to the one Tommy and Tubbo had appeared in his gaze. George had placed his wine glass back on the coffee table so Dream full on tackled him and tickled his sides relentlessly.
Wilbur joined in and both of the taller men were teasing George about being so ticklish everywhere. After George started fighting back and regained some breath, the trio stared up at the ceiling from where they were pilled up on top of each other on the old carpet. It wasn't exactly comfortable but his best friends made it bearable.
Wilbur broke the silence eventually by blurting out something that left them all cackling down loud that it woke Tommy and Tubbo from their slumber. Yet they had followed his advice and put the so called hottest picture Wilbur's ever seen of Dream at the front of his profile.
Dream supposed that he could see the appeal of it, he had looked good there. Eyes a unique hue of green that bared a striking resemblance to the new spring growth, bright and soft all at once. Along with a white shirt only half buttoned and veiny knuckles which adorned a set of rings. It was at least a year old this picture, he couldn't exactly remember when but Wilbur had demanded that he used it.
The other one that the two British men used for him was a surprise. One that he had from the gym, a light layer of sweat coating the surface of his chest, shimmering in the light. His muscles were slightly flexed, not enough for it to be cringy but they were eye-catching. He hadn't looked that good in a while, work had picked up more than usual and Tubbo had started school in the time since the picture was taken. Even he couldn't deny that he looked hot though and both of his friends strongly agreed.
Yet despite their confidence in their work, neither of the two believed him at first when he said that he had been talking to a guy and secured a date. The look on their faces after he proved them wrong had been worth it though.
A tug at his leg brought Dream out of the never ending stream of thoughts in his head and he glanced down to see Tubbo smiling up at him giving him the sweetest, softest stare. If Wilbur's tall frame wasn't blocking his view of the mirror, Dream was certain he'd be greeted with the sight of himself completely overcome with love and adoration.
"Dad can I please sleepover tonight?" Tommy wants to show me his new plushie." Tubbo asked.
Dream's smile widened as he told Tubbo that he could causing his little bit to hug him tightly before joining his best friend once more.
"George and I will take care of him," Wilbur placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder blade.
He didn't know how to respond to that so Dream just nodded in appreciation. There were so many worries coursing through his brain, all of them building up to the point where he could feel himself begin to shake. His body trembled ever so slightly and Will looked concerned. At first the date had seemed like a good idea, a chance to get into dating after nearly two years of working up the courage to even try again.
Now he was seriously regretting his decision though. What if this guy was nothing like who he said he was? Did he like kids? Was he prepared to deal with the surprise of Dream having a kid?
Dream couldn't even ask the latter question despite it being the most essential one. Nobody would want to take on the responsibility of dating a guy who had a child. Tubbo wasn't that young, there were no smelly nappies or bottles involved anymore but it was still a lot to ask of someone. Dream didn't want Tubbo to be just viewed as a burden or accessory to him, he would always come first.
The states he received whenever he dropped Tubbo to school in the morning were intense, full of preconceived judgements. He had a right to be nervous about the outcome of this date though, how it would go if he revealed that he was actually a single dad. It was better to lie than to make himself vulnerable though. For both himself and Tubbo.
They couldn't get attached to someone who would just up and leave them. Not like last time.
"Are you alright Dream?" George shook him gently.
Dream wasn't alright but despite all of his nerves, something was telling him to go on the date. And if he didn't go willingly, George and Wilbur would march him back down the stairs and drive him all the way to the restaurant themselves just to ensure that he went. They meant well but as soon as he'd brought the idea up, neither of the two had let go of it, both equally persistent.
"Yeah you kept zoning out," Wilbur added.
Dream shrugged in an effort to dismiss it "just some pre-date jitters," he lied smoothly - well was it really a lie "you know...it's been a long time since I've gone out anywhere, let alone on a date."
"Maybe he can help you unwind," Wilbur wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
"I'm leaving," Dream groaned "bye George I'll see you later."
"Why is George the only one to get a goodbye?" Wilbur whined as Dream headed for the door again.
"He's pretty," Dream rolled his eyes "bye Will."
In the distance he could hear what sounded like words of affirmation, reassuring him that it was all going to work out. Or at least he hoped they were words of encouragement. This date could turn out amazing but the stress it was putting him under before he'd even driven to the place wasn't.
Dream had never actually been to the restaurant that the other man had suggested. It was on the outskirts of town, quite far away from his apartment and a bit out of his and Tubbo's budget. Not that Tubbo cared, he'd order chicken nuggets no matter where they were. As his car crawled up the busy road, his nerves increased tenfold and the anxious feeling bubbling inside of him was overwhelming.
When he reached the destination just two minutes before they were supposed to meet, Dream let out a sigh of relief. He didn't want to make a bad first impression by being late or causing the other boy to panic and think he wasn't going to come at all. In the fairly empty car park, illuminated only by a flickering pink neon sign across the road and one faded street lamp, Dream hyped himself up inside, working up the nerve to get out and meet this guy.
A warm atmosphere, golden even, greeted him as he pushed the wooden door open. The hostess immediately guided him to a table in the back right of the restaurant where the guy was already sitting. This place was beyond what Dream had expected, it wasn't supposed to be that fancy or expressive but the deep red walls with golden accents proved that wrong.
His jaw unhinged slightly and Dream froze once he made eye contact with the brunette man sitting at the table for two by himself. He wrung his hands together anxiously on the white tablecloth, not having noticed Dream approaching the table. The blonde was blown away though, he hadn't thought it to be possible but he somehow looked even better than his pictures and they were, well they were something else.
Small stubble lined the edge of soft cheeks that were tinted a pale pink and luscious lips captivated him. Just when he thought he couldn't be more enthralled by the man sitting at the table, his gaze shifted upwards and oh fuck his eyes. They were beautiful and Dream couldn't stop himself from staring.
Brown eyes. So deep that he could feel himself getting lost in them already and it had been mere seconds. Dark, rich and decadent pools that reminded Dream of the colour of fresh earth after rain. Even in the dim light, he could tell they'd be stunning in the sunlight, brilliant and clear. They'd melt into shocking golden rays or copper against honey and shade. He was entrancing beyond all fathomable belief. Little flicks of jet black eyeliner tracing the edge of his lids.
Dream tried to keep his expression as neutral as possible but that proved to be rather difficult considering how long he'd stared at his date. Nevertheless, he let a confident yet faint smirk form in an attempt to convey a calm persona and not the man closer to crumbling than an eroded cliff or a rapid landslide.
With a similar bravado to his high school self, Dream smiled coyly "you're Sapnap right?"
He reflected a similar smirk "I don't know am I? It depends whose asking."
Dream hadn't anticipated being this attracted to a man's voice ever but here he was. Smooth, dulcet tones laced with something sweeter than honey that only drew Dream in more of that was possible. His voice was compelling and he'd only just spoken but Dream was hooked. Like a siren pulling him into the deep end to drown him, Dream would willingly let him do it though. The nerves had been soothed slightly but he was wondering what he'd done to deserve to go on a date with a man this gorgeous.
"I'm Dream," he introduced himself smoothly with a charming grin.
Despite already knowing his name, the other man rose an eyebrow at it before a teasing half smile grew on his face "hmm are you going to say you're the man of my dreams now?"
He chuckled quietly "I could be but no, cheesy pick up lines aren't really my thing."
"Good because I would've left if you had," Sapnap remarked casually "and it would've been such a shame because the pictures really don't do you justice."
Now it was Dream's turn to raise an eyebrow "oh really?"
Sapnap nodded, tauntingly slow "you were already attractive but wow - I didn't know I was going on a date with someone who looks like they could be a Greek god."
Normally comments like that didn't get to Dream but there was something about him and his stupidly perfect southern drawl that was even more prominent in that comment. So he could feel his cheeks flush an embarrassing shade of crimson and Sapnap noticed. He didn't mention it but Dream saw the hint of a satisfied smirk creep onto his face.
Their intensely held stare was promptly removed by the arrival of a waiter at the secluded table. dream was grateful for their intervention because it gave him the chance to catch his breath which he didn't realise he'd been holding in anticipation. As Sapnap gave his order, Dream took the opportunity to admire him further since he wouldn't notice it. A silver chain hung from his neck and if he wasn't imagining things , there was a small tattoo on his right bicep.
"And for you sir?" The waiter turned to him expectantly.
Dream hadn't payed attention to what Sapnap had chosen, nor had he even read through the menu but he wasn't going to admit that.
"The same," he answered with as much confidence as he could muster up.
A nod from the waiter lead him to intense but the sly and mocking expression Sapnap bore let him know that he hadn't been as slick and subtle as he would've liked to think.
"Did you even hear what I ordered?" He asked, the amusement evident in his voice.
"No," Dream found himself blurting out before he could stop "please tell me you didn't order something gross like cow liver."
Sapnap's face was deadpan, totally neutral and unreadable "that's my favourite," and he kept it like that for a moment to internally snigger at Dream's expression of utter horror "I'm joking dude, I ordered steak don't worry."
Dream's eyes widened comically as he exclaimed "you dickhead!" but they both knew his words weren't genuine.
"Maybe," Sapnap shrugged indifferently "but it's not really my problem, you were the one who couldn't look away from me long enough to read it."
“And what if I was,” Dream retorted “I can’t help it when you look like that.”
It was Sapnap’s turn to flush brightly and the two fell into a natural flow of teasing comments as they got to know each other further. Dream was surprised at how easy talking to Sapnap came to him, there was never a dull or silent moment in their conversation and he didn’t have to overthink it or portray himself in a certain way. Something that he hadn’t experienced in a long time.
Sapnap was in his final year of college, studying computer science which surprised Dream considering he worked in it. He was freaking out way more than he’d liked to admit over this information but kept it hidden behind a collected facade. Part of him was a bit worried about being five years older than Sapnap before coming on the date but they had so many common interests and meshed so well that those thoughts were quickly silenced.
The tattoo on his bicep was a little one of a cat. Not the first thing Dream was expecting given his aesthetic and personality but he learnt that Sapnap had three cats and that the tattoo had been a dare while on a night out and it had been the first thing to come to mind. Nevertheless Dream found it adorable how it completely juxtaposed his appearance.
As the two were finishing up their steak, Dream felt his phone vibrating in the back pocket of his jeans. Worry instantly overcame him, he’d left it on do not disturb for everyone except George and Wilbur in case there was an emergency with Tubbo or something went wrong. Obviously something had happened. It was a shame that it had to occur in the middle of his date and that said date would probably hate him for ditching and he’d ruin any chances at love for the foreseeable future. But Tubbo was his number one priority and that wasn’t going to change, no matter how much it hurt him.
Visions of all his worst nightmares sprang to the forefront of his mind and Dream cursed his active imagination because it really wasn’t helping put him at ease. How could he try to reassure himself that it wasn’t anything too serious, hope that things were alright when all of the worst scenarios imaginable were tormenting him.
He winced slightly as he faced the concerned expression Sapnap wore. “I’m really sorry for this but I have to go, like now, it’s urgent.”
“Oh,” the other man breathed softly, not knowing how to react or what to say.
“My friend called, I told them not to unless it was an emergency. I’m sorry Sapnap.”
Before the younger man even had a chance to check he was alright or say goodbye, Dream had gotten up from the table and left some money on the side for the meal. Part of him was tempted to go back and make it a rain check and that they’d continue this date another time, but he had a feeling this just fucked everything up. Sapnap probably believed he was lying and just trying to get away from the date but no matter how much it hurt both of them, it was easier than explaining that he was a single dad this early on in a potential relationship.
Dream overtook a string of slow vehicles and was definitely going above the speed limit. But that wasn’t his concern even though it should have been. He needed to get to Tubbo. To make sure he was safe and help solve whatever problem had arisen. While stuck at a red light he texted George to let him know that he was on the way home, he would’ve called, demanding to know what happened but he knew it would just stress him out even more and there would be no way he could focus on driving.
When he reached the apartment building that he’d been at just a few hours prior, Dream nearly forgot to lock his car in his haste to get to Tubbo. He ran up the stairs at a speed that he didn’t know was possible in his current physical state and banged harshly on the wooden door to get their attention. Wilbur opened it quickly and guided him over to the room where the boy’s had been sleeping.
And curled up in a little ball over a bowl of what appeared to be vomit was Tubbo. Pearlescent and trembling but still reaching out towards him, longing for the comfort of his dad. Tommy was patting his arm awkwardly, unsure as to how he could support and help him but wanting to help or reassure his best friend somehow.
Dream pulled Tubbo close to his chest, not caring if he ended up getting sick on him. After raising a baby all by himself from day one, that didn’t phase him. In the back of his mind Sapnap lingered along with the pure bliss he’d experienced on their date. He wanted desperately to say he regretted leaving without much of an explanation but it was easier this way. It had to be.

Day 14: Stuck.
Ft. c!Tubbo, c!Quackity, c!JSchlatt, and c!Technoblade.
TW: literally getting blown up by fireworks, censored swearing, and yelling.
Tubbo swallows. "I would like to thank everyone for coming out to this festival—" President JSchlatt laughs. "What's wrong, Schlatt?" He stops laughing. "No, no, I was— I was just thinking about it, Tubbo. You know how we like to have fun."
Tubbo fills a shiver run down his spine. Where is he going with this? "Ye-yeah, we like to have fun..." He says, trying to play along with whatever Schlatt was thinking. "What's up?" He adds, with a forced smile.
"Got anything else in the speech, Big Guy?" Tubbo's heart pounds a million beats per second. "Uh, no! On that note, let the festival begin!"
"You're done with your speech?" Schlatt says, stepping closer to him. "Yeah, I'm done with the speech, Schlatt..." Schlatt nods. "Okay." He clears his throat.
"Hey, uh, Quackity, here. I'm just gonna— I'm gonna fix some of this.." Schlatt says, as he sets down pieces of yellow concrete onto the stage. Tubbo looks at Quackity, who seems just as confused as him.
"What are you, what are you—?" Tubbo starts, as Schlatt continues mumbling. "Schlatt, Schlatt, what are you—?" He looks around to see himself encased. Tubbo continues to call out Schlatt's name, as he and Quackity lock him into the yellow blocks.
"Tubbo, I'll cut to the f***ing chase, alright?" Tubbo frowns. "I— what?!" Quackity looks at Schlatt with an odd grin. "Tell him, Pres. Tell him!"
Tubbo presses up against the sides of the box. "Schlatt, I can't get out, Schlatt!" Schlatt ignores him.
"It really sucks having to do this right here in front of everybody. I mean, it's kinda awkward." Tubbo repeats that he can't get out, although again, he's ignored.
"Tubbo, Tubbo... I know what you've been up to." Schlatt says, staring Tubbo down. "What have I been up— what are you talking about?" Tubbo asks, the bravery he felt not moments prior was fading into nothing.
Schlatt laughs, making Tubbo's blood freeze within him. Crap. He's found me out. I'm dead. There's no way out of this box. "I'm actually, I'm actually trapped in here, Schlatt."
"You sided with the IDIOTS, with the TYRANTS, that we KICKED out of this server. That we KICKED out of this GREAT country! Months ago! Or weeks, was it weeks? I don't even remember." He says, sighing. "Time flies when you're having fun." He continues. He stares into the small hole he built in the box, too small for Tubbo to fit through.
"Tubbo, I don't know, I don't know if you know this, but treason? Isn't exactly uh, a respectable thing around here, you know that? I know what you're doing, it all adds up!" He gestures downwards.
"The tunnels, your absence from GREAT events, YOU WALKED OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS ONE! YOU WALKED OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS ONE, TUBBO. Don't try and tell me you've done nothing wrong. Because everybody knows it! I sees it with own two f***ing eyes!" He takes a breath.
"Do you, do you what happens to traitors, Tubbo?" Tubbo swallows. "No?" His voice trembling. Schlatt turns his back to him. "Nothing good." His back is still turned. "Hey, uh, Technoblade? You wanna come up here?"
Tubbo's heart sinks. Technoblade just makes a noise, as if not expecting this or maybe he just wasn't listening. Both Schlatt and Quackity insist that he comes up, so slowly he makes his way up the podium.
"Hey, uh, Mr. President." Technoblade says, as he stands besides them on the podium. "You can stand right here, Technoblade. Right in the eyes." Quackity says, guiding Technoblade to a spot directly in front of Tubbo.
"Uh, I'm actually still stuck, Schlatt!" Tubbo tries once more. "As the enemy of the state, and as uh, purpetrator to these awful, AWFUL people—"
"I don't even know what that word means!" Tubbo interrupts. Schlatt shrugs. "This is not good." Technoblade mumbles, as Schlatt turns to him. "Technoblade, please, please, if you would, you been so kind."
"What are you askin’ me, Schlatt? You want me to— to get him some breakfast? Get him a nice coat?" The glares from Quackity and Schlatt indicated something far more sinister.
"Maybe show him the fine 5 course dinner, you know?" Schlatt says, and Tubbo covers his eyes. He'd seen enough. Technoblade looks between the President and the Vice President confused.
Quackity looks at Tubbo, an evil glean in his eye. "You're not hungry, Tubbo?" Tubbo starts to shake. "No, no, I'm not hungry!" Technoblade scoffs. "Tubbo, you're very hungry, let's go to that restaurant." He says, looking down below where he deemed it safer for Tubbo.
"Technoblade, we're running on a tight schedule." Technoblade frowns. "What do you want outta me, Mr. President?" Schlatt glances back at Tubbo. "Well, I mean, I only call you in for special favors. We go way back, right?"
"I dunno what you mean." Technoblade says. "Schlatt, what are you even talking about?" Quackity cuts in, stepping forward. "This man, this man needs special care. Techno, I need you to take him out." Technoblade tilts his head. "To dinner?"
"YOU'RE NOT GONNA TAKE HIM OUT TO DINNER, BRO!" Schlatt yells. "YOU'RE GONNA KILL HIM." Everyone below starts protesting as Technoblade nods. "Ah! Now I get it!" Schlatt tremors with rage. "You'll murder him, RIGHT NOW, ON THIS F***ING STAGE, AND MAKE IT DIRT!"
Fundy below scoffs. "Schlatt, it's a festival, man!" Schlatt glares at Fundy. "This is my country! YOU KIDDING ME?! My right hand man, I'd rather rule alone than with you."
"Oh, I'm in a high stress environment, I don't down well in those." Technoblade says, Quackity clears his throat. "Schlatt, are you sure? Listen, we have him trapped, he's jailed. I think that's enough!" Technoblade nods.
"You could just imprison him." He agrees, liking that much safer option. "Not enough." Schlatt says. "Schlatt, are you sure?" Quackity asks. "He's just— he's jailed!"
"Technoblade." Schlatt says, Tubbo mumbles his name too, still refusing to look. Tubbo hears the bowstring being pulled back, and a firework being loaded.
"Technoblade!" Tubbo cries, pulling his hands down to see the fully loaded crossbow. "You gonna do it?" Schlatt pressures him. "You gonna make him regret this?" Technoblade swallows, looking for any way out of this that didn't involve the death of a 16 year old.
He smacks him, thinking that maybe that'd be enough. But all it did was make Tubbo push up against the back wall. "Technoblade!" He says, in an octave higher than normal. "Tubbo?" Technoblade says, looking at him with a mourning face.
"Tubbo, I'm sorry. I'll make it as painless, and colorful as possible." He keeps apologizing as Schlatt laughs. He pulls the trigger on the crossbow, and a firework whistles as he sees nothing but red, white, and blue.
Tubbo_ went off with a bang due to a firework fired from [Subscribe to Technoblade] by Technoblade.
Author Note: Inktober has "stuck' as a prompt too, but I believe it's the 12th, not the 14th. Just thought that it was amusing.
Going through the actual scene was very interesting.

Here’s an analysis of the “Tommy’s Plan To Kill Dream” stream (part 2)
Continuation of this here (though it really isn’t needed to read that one to read this as I will be recapping a bit as I go): https://stellocchia.tumblr.com/post/645995202162671616/heres-an-analysis-of-the-tommys-plan-to-kill
This is the less intense part of the stream. They already talked about their plans to kill Dream (well, Tommy’s plan that Tubbo is VERY reluctant about and Ranboo agrees with). We’re moving into the gathering resources for the surveilance post part now.
As always moving forward I’ll be soley talking about the characters and, for the dialogue, this are the respective colors: Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo, Ghostbur.
Analysis under the cut as always
So let’s start off with the obvious: I absolutely love how protective Tubbo and Ranboo are of Tommy, I’m glad he has people who actually care in his life right now. We have various examples of this throughout the stream, but the first one is Tommy seeing a creeper, backing off immediatly (because of his hightened fear of pain, aslo known as algophobia apparently) and them immediately destroying the threat. Of course this is also because they don’t want Snowchester blown up, but it’s still sweet nonetheless.
He also opens up about his algophobia right after to them and asks for some armour, which Tubbo actually provides.
“You’re wearing Dream’s armour, aren’t you Tubbo?” “Yeah” “Okay, I wouldn’t- I genuinely would advice not. Anything that that man’s fucking been too near you don’t wanna be using” Tommy’s fear of Dream by now is just all encompassing. It is also quite peculiar that he would say this while still using Dream’s trident (right? It’s still his right?), though that could simply be because he puts himself in the category of “things that have been too near Dream” by now and really can’t be affected more then he already has been, though this is just a theory.
Same thing as with the creeper happens with a skeleton a couple minutes later.
“What happened? Holy crap” “Tubbo he beat me to death, he punched me to death” Bee duo starting to realize how serious Tommy’s situation is right after the scheleton encounter because Tommy was just genuinely panicking.
“Pain it feels so much more real now, ‘cause I know what’s on the other side” “Surely doesn’t that give closure?” “No... no it gives quite the opposite Tubbo” And what a good choice that was narratively speaking! If death did give closure as us and the characters in the story themselves expected, with resurrection it would be meaningless. This way though, death has just as much narrative weight as if resurrection wasn’t there, which is what you want in a story.
“On a side note for you two: Sam Nook great guy! Really lovely guy! Awesamdude is a bastard and does not deserve to be running that prison. If he let me die he failed his job” We can see that Tommy’s perception of the warden’s duty is strickingly different from Sam’s. To Tommy the top priority should be protecting others from Dream (even if it means compromising the security of the prison), while to Sam the top priority is keeping Dream locked up.
“My therapy update!” We all knew I had to include this one. It’s actually really great because:
1) Him actually reacheing out to Puffy to get therapy means that he actually recognises that he needs help and is willing to ask for it, which is the first step towards healing
2) Him acting so happy about it is actually such a good message for the younger viewers to see that therapy is nothing to be afraid of and it’s not taboo
One more thing we had him wanting to remove his own statues as they’re a grim reminder of his death in a scene that is very similar to Tubbo on the 16th asking to remove the decorations of the day of his execution.
“I don’t think it’s a particularly good idea to... try and kill Dream. I don’t know how canon lives work for you anymore, but I only got one left” As I pointed out in the other post the 2 main reasons why Tubbo is reluctant about the plan are that he’s on his last life and that he managed to build a life for himself with Snowchester and Ranboo that he doesn’t wanna loose.
“Listen guys, I’ve experienced death now, it doesn’t matter how many lives I have left now, I’m NOT willing to go through that again” “Yeah that makes sense actually, that makes sense” This is an interesting question though of how many lives he re-acquired. We know Jack came back with 3 when he did it, but then again, normal rules don’t seem to apply to Jack Manifold. Also I wanted to include Ranboo’s quote there just because he’s literally been nothing but supportive and I love him for it.
Also all 3 teens decide at once that ignoring the Egg will most definitely make the problem go away, because that has always worked in the past of course! (Also, honestly, good for them. Let the adults take care of something for once!)
“I’m not very god at smal- that’s not true” “Mhmm” “So eh... you guys heard The News?” “The news about what?” “The news about...?” “You know... what-what’s been happening...” “What’s been happening?” “About- about umm... George” “About George? What happened with the Gogmeinster?” “Oh yeah, he got banned! Twice” “No no, he... he grew a third ear” “Really? Oh man!” “Oh yeah! I’ve seen a photo of that on instagram!” So, aside from this being so funny, the reason I’m highlighting it is because if there is one thing Tommy never struggled with in the past it was small talk. He could literally start blabbering with anyone about anything, no matter how dumb, with absolute confidence. Now he’s struggling with everything (both here and later in the Nether we have similar scenes for it). He is insecure about everything he says and socializing seems much harder for him. Regardless both Tubbo and Ranboo still go along with everything he says with absolute confidence, which seems to help him quite a bit. Considering that his biggest desire seems to be to be treated the same as he was before having them not pointing out his obvious insecurity (while still very obviously noticing it) is probably quite a big thing for him.
“Why are Punz’s eyes red?” “Why? Oh- Where is Punz?” “Oh, that might mean we have to kill him, he might kill us on sight” “Yeah, he might try to kill you. Where are you Tommy by any me- where are you?” “Yeah, stay away from him” “No I can fucking take him man!” “No because you get scared of damage...” “Tommy... yeah” “I don’t get scared of damage!” “That’s not true” “Tommy where are you?” I loved this scene so much! Tommy didn’t actually even see Punz here, he only saw his face on the players tab, but the other two were immediately on the defensive. Also this is what I mean when I say that it’s not that they don’t acknowledge Tommy’s situation, they’re just trying to give him some normalcy, because, as soon as he is in any actual or perceived danger they’re immediately in high alert.
“You’re like a living ghost” “I think that’s just called a human Tubbo” “You’re like a human” “That’s just called someone who is alive” “You’re treating me differently” So two things here:
1) Tubbo still has a lot of confusion towards the whole revival process an that’s what he was trying to express. Ranboo was not particularly happy with his choice of words though and kinda got the defensive tone again
2) Tommy shuts down very fast any time any kind of change is mentioned. In this case the change being Tubbo’s perception of him.
That said they manage to recover the situation really fast with Ranboo making a comparison between Tommy and Jesus (they’re teenagers, what can I say?)
“Tubbo I feel like we’ve grown less close while I’ve been in prison and dead” “That’s ‘cause you’ve been gone for such a long time...” “Do you like me less?” “Nope!” “Well it feels like you do” “Well, that’s all in your head then!” “No” “Maybe you superpower is immagination” “Maybe my superpower is anxiety” Well Tommy, do my job for me, will you? But yes, these kind of thoughts (fretting about what others, especially your friends or family think of you) is extremely common for individuals suffering from anxiety disorders. Also what Tubbo did here was really important, even if it is the bare minimum, he still provided the ressurance his friend needed and that’s good of him. Also, while Tommy’s dependence on Tubbo does shine through quite a bit during this stream Tubbo does continuosly set up healthy boundaries for them (introducing and keeping firm on his relationship with Ranboo and admitting that they did grow apart a bit and he is still confused about Tommy for example), which is extremely good. Ranboo is also presenting himself as a viable option for emotional support, which will actually be good for Tommy in the future as this would mean breaking out of the habit that was ingrained in him of relying on one single person every time.
“I’m not afraid of anything! The only thing I’m afraid of is, you know, waking up in the morning and...” “The- the thing your afraid of is waking up in the- are you alright? Are you- are you alright man? Are you good?” That’s concerning! But, again, very fitting with his newfound extreme anxiety he seems to be experiencing. Also ConcernedBoo, he just care about his friends and is worried. Pretty sure Tommy fits together with Michael and Tubbo in the circle of people he’s willing to protect.
Also, in case people were wondering, Ghostbur wasn’t handing out sugar because he was a fake Ghostbur, but just because Ranboo gave it to him and it was the only thing he had. Same goes for Tommy calling Ghostbur “Wilbur” and acting as if he was Alivebur and Ghostbur only correcting him after quite a while: it’s not because he’s fake, it’s because he gave permission to Tommy specifically to do so before. As I mentioned in the other post their relationship is complicated, but Ghostbur very much cares for Tommy a whole lot and he came back specifically because he heard Tommy needed help again, it’s not so weird he’d allow him to do stuff he doesn’t allow for others.
“Last time I spoke to you was like a few days ago...” Now, as some people pointed out this could simply be Ghostbur memory being sort of foggy and him not realizing how much time passed. But the OTHER theory is that he remembers talking to Phantommy (which we know happened thanks to Quackity’s lore, as they visited Glatt’s gym together). Honestly both are plausible (if the first one was true then meeting Phantommy may have simply made him upset and he could have forgotten about it, or perhaps he could have just forgotten that Tommy was dead).
“Ghostbur do you want him (Wilbur) to come back? Because I- I don’t. I don’t think that I do ever” “It’s... I... umm, hm. The-the world needs structure and order and he- he was good at that. He did that-” “No. The world needs less villains and he was a villain if I’ve ever seen one” “But a- a villain is just- is- sometimes the line’s a little blurry. You could say a little blurry, a tiny bit, it’s like a- a villain it’s just a hero you haven’t convinced yet” Now, as much as I love Ghostbur he’s half wrong here. Let me explain:
Simply put not all bad people can be redeemed for one thing (for example someone like Dream could never be redeemed because he hurt so many people in such horrible ways without ever regretting it), and secondly describing a villain as a “hero YOU HAVEN’T CONVINCED yet” puts the responsability of that persnon’s actions on their victims. As a matter of fact it’s most definitely NOT up to the ones who’ve been hurt to reabilitate the ones who hurt them (which is why Sam managing the prison now is considerable a conflict of interests). They shouldn’t even be forced to forgive that person if the person DOES change for the better. And here’s the crux of the issue: Wilbur hurt a LOT of people. He hurt Tubbo, he hurt Niki, he hurt Fundy, he hurt everyone who joined Pogtopia. And more then anything else he hurt Tommy. He was abusive and manipulative towards him and Tommy has every right to never forgive him. He has every right to be scared of him and regard him purely as a villain, because that’s what he was for him towards the end of his life.
Ghostbur bringing him back in the hopes that he’s changed at all just means that, once again, the responsability of his possible reabilitation will be left entirely on the shoulders of the teens of the server and the same goes for if there is NO reabilitation. The destruction will, once more, be left for them to deal with. Tommy specifically will have one more person who abused him to deal with. Wether Wilbur will or will not ally himself with Dream doesn’t matter, because he was still a destructive individual on his own (despite of course being that way because of his own mental spiral, but that just makes him more sympathetic, it doesn’t justify his actions nor make them any less hurtful for those around him).
Also Wilbur’s been dead for 10-12 years in Limbo time, I can’t imagine that doing wonders for his mental state...
There is a scene after that conversation where Tommy was talking about how being dead was, Tubbo asked a question about it and Tommy got upset. Of course the others got confused about his reactions since ha was already talking about, so, to clarify: the probable reason why anyone (aside from Ghostbur apparently) asking him questions about it upsets him is probably because of Dream. He mentioned multiple times now that Dream treating his death as a science experiment when he revived him was extremely traumatic for him. He hates the idea of being “just science” to the people around him. Ghostbur seem to be an exception to this, but that may be because Tommy seems predisposed to just trust Ghostbur more from an emotonal stand-point (perhaps because he reminds him of how Wilbur used to be before he spiraled).
“I love monster energy” “Monster energy is kind of scary...” “Mhm, it’s for monsters...” Man the very low-key constant self-deprecation sure it’s kinda worrying... I really do hope that someone will help him with his very obvious sef-esteem issues at some point.
“He (Wilbur) spent a lot of time around a bad guy. He spent around a decade, you said, around Schlatt and Schlatt- Schlatt’s the bed guy, Right?” “I don’t think Schlatt’s the only bad guy” “Him and Eret are the bad guys, right?” Once again Ghostbur’s view of things is very naive and still very much stuck in the past. It’s been so long now since Eret betrayal, and they tried to redeem themselves since. Meanwhile it’s also been months since Schlatt died, and, even back when he was alive, he was far from being the only arguably bad person, Wilbur being right there along with him if we consider what his actions caused. And now we have Dream and the Egg, we have Quackity indulging in torture, we have the syndacate having a gestapo arc, we have Jack back on his goal of killing a teen. We can be sympathetic toward many of this people, but this doesn’t change the fact that they hurt others a lot or that their objectives or actions are objectively morally wrong in some cases. By now it’s honestly pretty hard to draw the line of who IS and ISN’T a bad guy.
“Cobble is GOOD, people don’t like it when I use cobble though...” Again, the usual self confidence is completely lacking. This is worse then post exile: back then he still had the full confidence to build an ugly cbblestone tower on Techno’s front lawn, now even using a bit of cobblestone makes him self-concious.
Also apparently Sam instructed Sam Nook to keep Tommy specifically away from the prison for his own safety. Man’s still looking after him even if he probably won’t manage to do it directly for a while (at least until Tommy forgives him, if he does).
That’s pretty much it! It’s everything I’d consider important that I could find in the stream!
