im sorry that has been your experience. your experience is not universal. people in the endo community have given us vital coping skills for dealing with our trauma when our therapist did not want to acknowledge it and called us a liar for having memory issues. willomancy has helped us immensely with coping with trauma and trauma symptoms.

in short: my experience isn't universal either. no one has a universal experience with a large community. sweeping statements about everyone within such a community don't work.

Saw your tag on that Jamiroquai post. If you wanna try out acid jazz, listen to Incognito, their songs “Everyday” and “Always There” are really good. Jamiroquai is good, but it seems like they’re the only 90s acid jazz band anyone on this site talks about.
