Aswan Trips - Discover the Beauty of Egypt's Southen City with Our Tours
Aswan, located in southern Egypt, is a beautiful city known for its ancient temples, breathtaking natural scenery, and vibrant markets. Here are some tips to help you discover the beauty of Aswan Trips:
Visit the Temple of Philae: This ancient temple is located on an island in the Nile River and is dedicated to the goddess Isis. It is a beautiful example of ancient Egyptian architecture and is a must-visit when in Aswan.
Explore the Nubian Village: The Nubian people are an ethnic group that has lived in the region for thousands of years. A visit to their village is a great way to experience their culture, food, and traditional way of life.
Take a felucca ride on the Nile: A felucca is a traditional wooden sailboat that has been used on the Nile for thousands of years. Taking a ride on one of these boats is a great way to see the river and the surrounding scenery.
Visit the Aswan Dam: The Aswan Dam is an engineering marvel that was built in the 1960s to control the flow of the Nile River. It is an impressive sight and offers great views of the river and surrounding areas.
Explore the Souk: The Souk, or market, in Aswan, is a great place to shop for souvenirs, spices, and traditional handicrafts. It is a colorful and lively place that is sure to leave a lasting impression.
Visit the Abu Simbel temples: The Abu Simbel temples are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are located about 3 hours from Aswan. They were built in the 13th century BC and are a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture.
Relax and unwind at a local spa: Aswan is known for its spas, which offer a range of treatments and services to help you relax and unwind. Treat yourself to a massage or a traditional hammam bath to fully experience the city's culture and hospitality.
Overall, Aswan Trips is a beautiful and fascinating city that offers a wealth of attractions and experiences. Whether you are interested in history, or culture, or simply relaxing and enjoying the scenery, Aswan is sure to have something for you.
Which is the best time of the year to Enjoy Aswan Trips?
The best time to visit Aswan is from October to April when the weather is cooler and more pleasant. During these months, temperatures range from around 20 to 30 degrees Celsius (68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit), making it comfortable to explore the city's attractions and enjoy outdoor activities. In addition, the period from December to February is the peak tourist season in Egypt, so you can expect more crowds and higher prices.
If you visit Aswan during the summer months from May to September, you'll experience very hot and dry weather, with temperatures often reaching over 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). This can make it difficult to enjoy the city's outdoor attractions, and many locals and tourists prefer to stay indoors during the hottest parts of the day. However, if you do visit during these months, you'll find fewer crowds and lower prices on accommodations and tours.
Overall, the best time to visit Aswan depends on your preferences and what you want to do while you're there. If you're interested in outdoor activities, sightseeing, and exploring the city's attractions, the cooler months of October to April are your best bet. But if you're looking for a more affordable and less crowded experience, the summer months can be a good option, as long as you're prepared for the heat.

gamer witch tip of the day?
hey figured i'd share this
you something that made me fell cozy in a worship the gods kinda way?
Assassin's Creed
Hear me out:
The later games on the franchise were Ancient greek, Egypt during Cleopatra's reign and England tenth century aka Viking invasion.
These later games had heavy reference to the gods, but most importantly: they had the temple recontructions of them
So in the egyptian one (Assassin's creed: Origins) we have the Temple of Karnak, Luxor, Thebes, Abu Simbel, Alexandria and a whole lot of other temples and tombs that have been recreated with some artistic liberties of course. (And with DLC curse of the pharaos you can get a glimpse of the Other World of some Pharaos its really neat)
In the greek one (Assassin's creed: Odyssey) you have an INSANE big map on greeces continental part like athenes, sparta with big temples like Pathernon and Delphos, and lots of islands such as Mykonos, lesbos, andros etc
These two games especifically have a tour mode where you can go everywhere and climb everywhere without guards or enemies. I dont think that the Viking one has such mode, so be careful while exploring.
The viking era one will be more focused on the seasonal festivals that happen in camp, and the mystical/astral travels to the other realms, Jotunnheim, Asgard etc. while also giving an idea of the culture back then and seeing whats left of the roman empire.
I'm not someone who is really into technomagic but seeing these places "alive" even if it's in a game, brings this fondness, yearning, and connection that i didn't know before.
So if you have the money to spend, id say to give it a look (btw ubisoft has a subscription that may be cheaper than buying a whole game that you might not really want to play)
#unfortunately im not sponsored#and if you want to commit to tecnomagic or maybe lack the physical space to worship etc#try minecraft and build your own temple™#thats cool too#techno magic#paganism#hellenic polytheism#deity work#witchblr#witchcraft#egyptian paganism

Penelope Lively, Metamorphosis
Only Penelope Lively could write a short story where a house is haunted but the striving middle class couple are so prostrate with envy at the upper middle class couple's Aga and Le Creuset set that they completely fail to notice this. This is a compliment, by the way!
Metamorphosis is a set of short stories from across Penelope Lively's career; she's such a graceful and funny author at times - and has written children's stories - but she also has such a satirical lightness of touch. My two absolutely favourites are "A Long Night at Abu Simbel" and "The Slovenian Giantess" which both deal with the unravelling of a certain type of Englishness.
In A Long Night at Abu Simbel the leader of a tour group just gets completely fed up of their behaviour and abandons them at a temple; they spend overnight at the airport. The group dynamics, the atmosphere, the tension are all so funny to me, in that everyone in their own way expects the world to cater to them and suddenly have to realise that it doesn't always; I read this story when I was about nine and still remember it.
In The Slovenian Giantess, an English writer in the Balkans goes through her literary conference and visit still treating everyone and everything at a reserve, as though they are the picturesque locals who have to deal with the vicissitudes of conflict and life and she is completely removed from them, until her situation changes. It's a different kind of rude awakening to a Long Night At Abu Simbel, but it still creates a miniature with a lot of resonance, as well as a brilliantly paced story.

Egypt Day Tours
Top Egypt Day Trips & Excursions
Luxor Day Tours opens up a great platform to appreciate the beautiful ancient artifacts found in Thebes most especially owing to the fact that it is dubbed as the largest open-air museum in the world. Within the confines of Egypt Day Tours, guests are treated to amenities such as the Valley of the Kings which is characterized by tombs of the desert of the pharaohs such as King Tutankhamen. Generally, this form of tourism includes excursions to sited places like the amazing Karnak Temple which contains numerous columns and many pictures and inscriptions inside, and the beautiful Luxor Temple in the evening which is at its greatest perspective when it is lit up. Each of them represents a small portion of the magnificence of ancient Egypt indicating why Luxor is a dream place for all the history fans out there.
The Aswan Day Tours offer an opportunity for all tourists to appreciate the natural beauty of this southern oasis where the river Nile runs through breathtaking views. Among the highlights of the Egypt Day trips usually is a trip to the spectacular temples of Abu Simbel built into the mountains by Ramses II as they are breathtaking and historic. Tourists can also visit the Nubian houses and learn about and appreciate the way of the people who live there. There is also a short and pleasant felucca trip to Philae Temple, which is beautiful and dedicated to goddess Isis, included in the Aswan tours which makes this city multi-facet and very easy for the visitors looking for a great time with sightseeing and great temples.

My Egypt Luxury Tour
My Egypt luxury tour package from Canada really outdid my expectations! From the time of my arrival in Cairo, everything worked in tune: private transfers, 5-star hotels, and expert guides made the tour smooth and enlightening.
The highlight was the Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, Each stop from Luxor starting with the Karnak Temple to the end in Abu Simbel was magical with highly trained Egyptologists who made each site come alive with history. Early access to some of these sites made the experience just that bit special. Further visits to Alexandria and Old Cairo added a great contrast to the journey. Visiting the Citadel and Khan el-Khalili was quite interesting, and throughout the tour, it was not a bother to bother with logistics at all-everything was perfectly arranged. I highly recommend this Egypt luxury travel and culture, these memories will always be treasured.
