So I know very little about the IDW Sonic comics (and don't really plan on reading them) but have seen most of the characters being thrown around long enough where I have to pretend like I know about them when I know close to nothing about each of them... So I took em all and summarized my assumptions about them along with what I actually know, just because I thought it'd be fun! I can't wait to be wrong.

Hi Anon!

No, I've never made a Bell Oc. I like cold war but I'm more into black ops 2.

For now I just have Abby as my black ops oc.

But it's true that in Abby's timeline exists a Bell oc. Her name is Mila and belongs to @efingart , I'll leave her story here if you want to know more about her. I fucking love everyone's Bells, especially my mutuals. But my friend E and I talked a lot about these and we decided to make our ocs canon in each others' story to make it more interesting. The drama is really good, and her story is amazing, you should check it out.

I'll leave a small sketch of Mila and Abby here hehehe.

• Everyone's white hospital bracelets reads their first and last name as well as their reason for admittance. Blue reads deceased, red reads harm risk, yellow reads fall risk.

• Staff IDs were not given a ref because all of them contain a bust shot of the person standing against a blue background with their last name written below.

• Henry cannot smell, his bottom canines stick out his mouth, and his snout is always drawn. Any instance of pink on him glows in the dark

• Henry was admitted for glowing blood and super bad headaches

• Henry and Erin are dating

• The blood on Vee's clothing and teeth can be any color. She is also the only staff member other than Noah with eyeshine. Vee's pupils are red!

• Vee, Tessa, Peri, and Finn are all together. Finn and Tessa are married.

• Vee and Abby are the same height. Both of them can not see over a counter top.

• Skye was Ray's childhood best friend, and she's never raised her ears since Ray was admitted to Bluebird Hospital.

• Lucy's mouth is not bleeding, it just spills blood due to their habit of chewing sitching/wounds.

• Peppa was admitted due to her thick, glittery, goopy blood, which she has a tendency to vomit up.

• Peppa's nose, mouth/innards, paw pads, and claws are all glittery. The blue has silver glitter, the silver has blue.

• Ray's wing is broken and she never closes the uninjured one. She was admitted for the wing and broken nose.

• Ray and Lucy are dating.

• Mina was admitted after being mauled by a wild bear.

ngl abby’s nickname “babby” was partly inspired by one of my students who loves sesame street but particularly the character abby who’s a fairy but my student is a little tiny child who pronounces her name as “babby” and it makes me almost cry from how cute it is every time she says it

a little wlw yearning for this week, introducing kathleen :) uses the prompt "orange" from the rewatch list - kinda loosely but it works (to me lol) enjoy!

Kathleen used to think loving someone was like the movies. Cheap yet charming lines and easy flirtation followed by bliss for a few hours (or longer), until the shine wore off and they moved on - or she did.

She doesn't think so any more. Loving someone is a bit like the oranges back in California - sweet and a bit bitter and clinging to the back of your throat, unable to be dislodged.

Right now, standing on the sands of Algeria, it's hard to decide whether the bitter or the sweet is winning.

They're alive, which is more than can be said for some of the other crews. Images of burning forts and bodies hurtling through the sky play on a blurry loop in front of her eyes, and Kathleen blinks to banish it. It doesn't work.

"Kathleen?"

Most people wouldn't hear that voice, soft as it is, but Kathleen's ears catch it anyway, and she feels something in her chest pick up, like a dog knowing its owner is close by.

It's pathetic. But she turns anyway.

There are cuts spattered across Lisbeth's cheeks and a slightly deeper one on her forehead. Her hair is a mess, strands falling out of the braids wrapped around her head, and there's a bone deep exhaustion in her eyes Kathleen recognises all too well. "Are you alright?"

"Shouldn't someone be asking you that?" Kathleen says. It's meant to come out sardonic, but somehow misses the mark.

"Oh." Lisbeth tries for a smile. "It's not too bad, honestly."

Kathleen wants to shake her.

Ironic to think when she'd first been assigned to this crew she had vowed to herself not to get attached to anyone. Had thought it would be easy - life moving between sets didn't make for long-term friendships, and after…everything, she'd avoided getting close to other women outside of the occasional night in a motel.

And yet somehow here she is, with her ears still ringing from gunfire and the images of dead men behind her eyes and she cares. About all of them: about little Beanie, crouching dazed on the sand; about Diane, smoking a cigarette with slightly trembling fingers; about Josie, moving between them and pressing small touches here and there as if trying to impart some of that elegant steel-edged confidence she wears like armour even after the past few hellish hours.

"Kathleen," Lisbeth says, and Kathleen jerks her gaze back.

"I'm fine. Cuts are from the mask, and I didn't get hit once." She spreads her arms. "You can take a closer look if you want."

It's impossible to keep the flirtation out of her voice. She learned it too young and now it's like a second skin, smooth and comfortable. Works with almost anyone.

Lisbeth, however, winces like she's been struck. "T-That's fine. I didn't mean to push, I'm sorry." She swipes loose strands of her out of her face, never once meeting Kathleen's eyes. "I'll leave you alone."

Four words and yet they have the power to cave Kathleen's chest in. The smile hovering on her lips drops, shame and disappointment tangling together in the back of her throat.

"Lisbeth," she calls out. A dog trailing after its owner.

Lisbeth turns around.

"Make sure you get checked out as well." Kathleen makes her lips curve. "Not that many great pilots around, it would be a shame to lose you."

That gets her eye contact, if only for a few seconds. Lisbeth looks startled, and then a tiny, fragile smile spreads across her battered face. "O-Oh. I will. Thanks, Kathleen."

She walks away again, but the memory of that smile stays behind Kathleen's eyes, erasing the horror of the mission bit by bit.

It's pitiful and stupid and she doesn't care. The sweetness is worth it.
