It's been a minute since I have drawn Mila as Bell. So here you go! I think about her post-campaign so much and in various AUs that it's fun to remind myself of her origins.

Tobiuo Art Lately

Silly comic drop while I'm still on holiday of my OC. It's far more social to draw with the other creative members of my family on holiday than it is to write. I hope you enjoy some silliness.

Tobiuo is my OC, Mila is @bloglop's OC, Plover is @jinbeioyabun's OC. Tobiuo & Plover are Heart-Pirates, Mila is a Zoan-Fruit user who uses her power as an aid to her job as a postal service messenger.

Mail Delivery

The Heart-Pirates have absolutely no self-control, and cannot act civilised.

Gratitude and Marooned

Two good friends hanging out after the mail gets delivered. Tobiuo expresses her thanks to the smaller Zoan fruit user for her latest letters, the Tang is forced to submerge to flee from the storm. Tobiuo offers her room to be the home base for Mila to find her rest. Hopefully it calms down the panicked heartrate of her favourite pink bunny.

Flirting

Tobiuo's love language is physical touch. Heat expresses interest in a contest of strength against strength. It doesn't go well for him.

What species is Rex? Whats his backstory?

✨ He was a fairy 🧚‍♂️ ok but jokes aside he is what my oc-verse calls Fairies :3 you can recognize them by their helmet lookin heads and bug-like features <3

Rex specifically is a sort of variation of fairies called a “Queen”, so he’s just overall bigger and has traits from both the male and female sexes <3

So prior to the current situation he’s in with the 8 buffoons he calls boyfriends he pretty much hit rock bottom after being thrown out his home by his, then, boyfriend with his BABY daughters

His previous relationship was not a good one by any means, his boyfriend treated him like he was stupid and incapable of doing things, but then he’d get pissy if Rex tried to ACTUALLY do anything. Rex was also scared to try anything due to threats of never seeing his daughter (Kolten) again or worse, her getting hurt. So he stayed. When he had his 2 new daughters (Mila & Kiera) he was thrown out with the babies because his boyfriend didn’t want any more mouths to feed

He was left with NOTHING, he was homeless for a while! Thankfully his daughters hadn’t hatched yet (fairies lay eggs) so he was really the only one struggling in the summer heat. Luckily for Rex the lil ice cream parlor he decided to take shelter in is owned by Louis who took him in and introduced him to his other boyfriends, so now he’s chillin <3 (pun intended)

finally made a proper ref for my beloved & first genshin oc :> ive been working on this drawing on and off for a year so im very happy. (also had to rewrite her story once cuz archon quest)

i kinda wanna ramble about her!! i’m bad at explaining stuff so sorry if this is lame djnfnfnf;;;;

she’s an orphan who was taken in by the house of heart at a young age. the rigorous training she received there managed to kill out most of her emotions and it molded her into the perfect blank slate solider who only follows orders and never asks questions. by the time arleccino took over the orphanage she was far too gone to be rehabilitated into a somewhat normal life.

she joined the fatui under la signora’s troop and both her and the rest of the troop dislike her because of her cold and aloof nature. she rarely talks and always has a thousand yards stare so they mostly assume that she’s stuck up because she was able to train under a harbinger. her squadmates would often pull pranks on her like locking her out of the dormitories at night and giving her nicknames like “little puppet”. she wound spend many night in the library, memorising where everything is thanks to that.

ok anyways. she has near photographic memory, so she’s usually tasked with finding documents and filing reports. (also since she was a child assassin she remembers all those things way too well). she also has autism and even though her cold facade hides it, she often sneaks away to be alone and breaks down and cries when she’s overwhelmed.

later on she meets an eccentric artist from fontaine and her companion, a spice salesperson (ocs that still need a ref). they became a ragtag team of adventurers for a while and then an accident happens, they get attacked, mila’s delusion backfires and she gains a vision while trying to save her friends. i don’t have it all figured out yet ehe >_< anyways if you read this far you owe me a welkin

tell you what, i never thought id make a character that i hate. well. here she is. i can't stand Chiyo. do i love her style? yes. dolly-kei is amazing! i love the clashing patterns and colors!!! (something she's still working on) but man. i hate Chiyo. she's Tarou's ex-girlfriend. she's obsessy and rather stuck-up.

(fun fact! i made her and Hajime to be foils! both are obsessive and based on a fashion that's fallen out of the spotlight!)

Andy

Andy's still trying to figure out his style. she's definately picked out the colors she likes. she's just having a hard time pinning down the rest. which is kind of why they're going to a fashion college! she hopes it'll help them figure out their own personal style.

Mila

Mila is Leo's (just barely) older sister. her thing is 70s (and partially 60s) style. she rollerskates EVERYWHERE save for indoors. Leo and Mila both lucked out when they both decided to become designers, because Mila is basically Leo's interpreter! it's kind of like how Falin is Laios's explainer; Mila always understands what Leo is trying to say. now that her brother has found friends who understand him, Mila's focusing more on herself, which means trying to overcome her stage fright and her fear of messing up.

Tobiuo getting a letter from Mila has made her day. She appreciates the Zoan-Fruit user immensely for her due diligence and hard work, travelling by foot over the seas to deliver mail. It's likely the latest medical reports Law asked to be covertly spirited from the Marine base, Mila's speed used to her advantage to swiftly claim them in her hands.

Gently taking Mila's smaller hands within her own, in the dark corridor within the yellow submarine, Tobiuo would place in her hands a note alongside a letter. Paying her Berry to sprint to the Victoria Punk, the letter contains the current coordinates for a location Law has determined to be advantageous for a meet up between both the Kid and the Straw-Hat crews. The small note contains her lip paint puckered in a soft kiss, alongside three words meant for Heat's eyes alone.

"See you soon."

Keep You Safe

Tobiuo would like the wielder of the Hare-Hare fruit to relax and calm down with her as her defender for the day.

At the pool with the Heart-Pirates, Tobiuo has reassured Mila that swimming is nothing to fear.

"Relax in the water, get used to the feeling, enjoy the way it ripples and swirls," writing on note paper, Tobiuo invites Mila to join her in the warm water. The Devil-Fruit user will be safe under her care, always within arm's reach at all times.

Starting small, Tobiuo thought a pool float might be a good idea to drag around the depths before attempting to aid her to wade without aid, or perhaps even to swim.

Off to the left of them, Shachi and Penguin are engaged in a lengthy wrestling match, with ice buckets being a key element to their chaos. Tobiuo is going to ensure Mila is as far away from those two idiots for everyone's safety.

stupidly fluffy facts abt my ocs

Hajime doesn't like to wake up any time before noon when he doesn't have classes. unfortunately for him, Tarou is an early riser and likes to clean on his days off. depending on the season, they'll either go to the dagashi shop nearby or watch a movie in bed when he's done to make Haji a bit less grumpy

as of "season 2," Hanako and Leo have each other's fingerprints tattooed on themselves. they wanted to give each other stick-and-pokes one day, and they settled on fingerprints. Hana has Leo's fingerprints on his right collarbone, Leo has Hana's on the inside of his right forearm

Andy and Mila have been dating for 2 years already! they were high school sweethearts. their friends were a little surprised when they heard they were still together. they still get butterflies when they go on dates

Leo knows how to crochet and has made everyone something! Hana has a checkerboard pillow, Tarou has a frankly massive blanket, Haji has a jacket meant to mimic a letterman, Andy has a pair of those fingerless gloves that can turn into mittens, and Mila has a pair of earrings shaped like cat heads.

Hana is, funny enough, the only decent cook. he's memorized everyone's favorite dishes. Tarou has a fondness for scotch eggs, since they're the food they remember most from the few years they lived in England.

the big 4 all play TF2, and their mains are ironically two of the more major ships in the fanbase. (Haji and Tarou main Heavy and Medic, Hana and Leo main Scout and Sniper).

ii.  mila was the first one to reach out to him, and ever since then he would follow her around everywhere.  she would be like "wonie, let's go to __" and he would be like "okay" without second thought.

iii.  she's absolutely whipped for him: loves to cuddle him because of how fluffy he is, and kisses his cheeks every chance he gets. she literally showers him with affection.

iv.  he gets really sulky when she's not paying attention to him. is the type to bother her in subtle ways like playing with her hair/poking her/laying his head on her lap while she's talking to other people.

v.   despite being older, she's more of an escape than a role model — and he prefers it that way, because it makes them feel closer than simply noona and a dongsaeng. she's his comfort person, for sure.

 i. they met as trainees through kiara, who introduced them. she was pretty shy around him at first (because she had a lowkey crush on him). but he had a girlfriend at the time, so she tried not to interact with him too much.

ii.  the first time they really bonded was when mila wanted to learn more about the technical side of music, and he offered to teach her. they spent every other afternoon in the music rooms messing around with all the instruments there and became really close.

iii.  he’s very protective over her. is the type to get defensive if someone even looks at her the wrong way. you would think he’s her bodyguard in public because of how he shields her from fans.

iv.  she subconsciously follows him around like a puppy and when someone asked her why, she said she doesn’t really know she just likes to be around him.

v.  he has cuteness aggression with her, and almost always has an urge to squeeze her in a really tight hug. also baby talks her, most of the time without even realising it. he’s always the first to fold at her puppy dog eyes so he can never be trusted to scold her.

ii.  jay was the first person she told about a major back injury that made her quit cheerleading, and since then he always looked out for her. offered to give massages when she was feeling sore and did heaps of research about what sort of things to eat or drink to make it feel better.

iii. he's the first person she goes to for comfort when something goes wrong or when she needs to vent. he's just a really soothing presence and has a way of making her feel less burdened.

iv.  he is so whipped. cannot say "no" to save his life, because he folds as soon as she pulls the puppy dog eyes on him. and whenever he looks at her, he has the gooiest look in his eyes.

v.  she's his number one fan. talks about him like he's the best thing to happen since instant ramyeon, and always defends him from the member's teasing.

ii.  their friendship started when one day, they ended up competing to get a penguin plushie from a claw machine game at an arcade near the company. he ended up winning, but after seeing how sulky she got, he gave it to her as a gift, and she named it after him.

iii. he teases her because he finds her cute, and because he knows he's one of the only people who can get a reaction out of her. similarly, she provokes him because its her way of getting him out of his shell.

iv. she acts as if they're enemies because of how much he teases her, but gets sulky when he doesn't pay attention to her like he usually does.

v.  he doesn't openly display affection, but he watches out for her for her from afar and pays attention to a lot of things that most people would miss.

i. they met during i-land, but knew of each other before that because of their reputations. they first saw each other at her favourite sashimi restaurant, and kept bumping into each other, though they never talked until i-land.

ii. he was originally kind of shy around her, but after spending so much time together in ground, he started to come out of his shell and showing his more mischievous side.

iii.  he doesn't call her 'noona,' and just calls her by name to tease her. whenever she asks him for something, he will complain, but secretly feel happy that she relies on him.

iv.  she likes to spoil him discretely, knowing that he doesn't really liked being babied. she will buy his favourite foods and little gifts whenever she goes out.

v.  they bicker a lot, but it's clear that they have a unique bond. they got couple tattoos of koi fish on their wrists that. when put them together, looks like they're circling each other. that perfectly sums up their relationship.

i.  they met as trainees, kiara being the one assigned to show mila around the company. mila really idolised her in the beginning and used her as a role model for what she should become.

ii. even though kiara was a bit aloof, mila continued to follow her around to learn from her, and kiara eventually adopted her. in her words, mila was "the little sister i never asked for."

iii. kiara becomes really maternal with her because of how young and lost mila seemed when they first met. she feels like she raised her and is proud of who she has become after watching her grow up in front of her eyes.

iv. mila always mentions kiara first whenever she talks about her gratitude for the members as her first and only unnie. mila can be a bit of a brat, but she will always listen to kiara no matter what.

v. they're sisters in all but blood. kiara's family practically adopted her, and likewise mila's family will always send gifts to kiara in the mail.
