(Some) Monkeys can purr!

Idk if it has the same effects as cat purring, but Wukong and Azure could definitely cuddle up with each other and purr together!

I think Azure would be surprised the first time Wukong (or Macaque) purred in front of him. It was likely a response to Azure's own purring.

I don’t think any of them would really purr in the brotherhood days. I mean, it was kinda of more of their frat boy days, and that’s not really something you’d do in front of the boys.

In modern day though? Absolutely. Like- Azure would be nuzzled up to Jing, full purring machine, and suddenly two other purrs join in. Macaque and Wukong are terribly embarrassed… until Mk starts doing it too. And Nezha soon after. Then DBK. Then Redson. Even Mei starts purring! Because of their demonic heritage, or dragon in Mei’s case, they can ALL purr! It’s enduring as it is annoying (to Pigsy) and fascinating (to tang). Even Jing of all people starts to purr!

Tang: “This is amazing! It seems like how wolves will coordinate their howls, demonic and celestial being feel the comfort of those they feel close to and their bodies react accordingly!”

Pigsy: “Yeah yeah it’s cute and all, but can you maybe not sound like a damn MOTOR-?!”

Crow’s Trick

OC kiss week tiny drabble!  I hope you like it and feel free to do with it what you want :) <3 it is a near kiss~

The sound of metal hitting metal echoed down the halls of the sanctum but it was largely ignored by those wandering around or working. It had been going on for some time now and most assumed someone was training, honing their skills for their next contract. They weren’t wrong.

Revas lunged at the taller elf but was easily parried. A simple shove to his shoulder knocked him off balance and he tumbled to the floor with a grunt. When he rolled onto his back, the dagger pointed at his throat wasn’t a surprise and he groaned, “come on, you’ve got to let me win one day.”

With a smile, Azlo lowered his dagger and the glow of the orb in his other hand died down. He watched as Revas stood and shrugged, “you’ll win when you don’t let that impulsiveness get the better of you.”

Once upright, Revas stretched his arms before readying his weapons again. Azlo’s smile grew as the light of the orb brightened once more. Revas was quick, something he tries to use in his favor against opponents. But Revas was also overly confident in his speed at times and this was one of them. With a point to the floor, Azlo covered parts of the ground under them with ice. Revas yelped when he lost traction suddenly, the daggers in his hands pointed downward into the ground to help him keep steady.

What happened next was a surprise to Azlo. Revas recovered far quicker than he thought he would and was in his face. The shorter elf had a grin across his lips as he moved in closer. Their breaths mixed, both breathing heavier from the exertion of the duel. Azlo didn’t miss the way Revas’ eyes glanced down at his lips before meeting his again, “I win.”

They stood there for a moment, Revas’ grin only growing. The younger crow’s tongue poked out some and then the moment was broken. Revas let out a strangled sound when something cold and sharp poked under his chin. He frowned at the smile on Azlo’s face and lowered his daggers in defeat.

The shard of ice grown from the orb in Azlo’s hand grew taller and Revas had to step back to avoid it from piercing his skin. Azlo laughed and dispelled the magic when Revas was far enough away. As the orb vanished and the dagger was sheathed, he spoke, “you can’t use a Crow’s trick on another Crow.”

Revas huffed and sheathed his own weapons, “it was worth a shot. I had you for a second.”
