Just in case you needed MORE reasons to not attend the Minecraft movies aside from the fact that Jack black is a Zionist who defended Autism speaks (Literally screaming at well meaning and polite autistic people on Twitter who told him about how shit that org is), it's unoriginal, a cash grab, the black woman in the movie dose nothing but exist as a "sassy black woman" stereotype, the girls do nothing in the movie outside of talk about men and build a house randomly and there was abuse of staff/lack of credits given to alot of CGI artists who worked on this piece of garbage....

The white guy creator is more worried about all the white guys 16-24 who are going into the theaters screaming, throwing popcorn and drinks, ripping out rows of seats and dragged an actual chicken into the theater getting arrested (rightfully so) for property damage, animal cruelty and harassment than staff or respectful patrons.

This is entirely because teenage and young adult white cis boys are doing this. No one else would ever be allowed to get away with shit like this. If young black men were doing it, if white girls were doing it, if gay/trans people were doing it, there'd be hell to pay. They deserve to be fucking arrested, they are destroying property. Staff are happy that people would clap during that scene or yell out the meme but nothing I mentioned above isn't happening. There is an infamous video going around showing some of it with pictures of ripped open and pushed over rows of seats, tons of phone flashlights turning on, people covering themselves/seats/other unwilling patrons in soda and popcorn and candy, screaming in the theater, ripped carpet and dragging a real life chicken into the theater and holding it up while on someone else's shoulders. If they fall, that chicken could die, if not get hurt and certainly unnecessarily stressed and terrified by being in a dark loud theater then getting held up and pelted with popcorn.

These aren't fans who want to celebrate the movie, even if they were id still be damning them for it, these are a bunch of attention seeking white frat boys destroying a theater "for the meme" and y'all are less concerned with them getting away with behaving like that and more concerned about "their future"??? This isn't harmless fun, they caused thousands of dollars in damages and they walked out like nothing happened because no one will say anything because they are white and because they are men! If I had a son who'd been involved in that situation, you bet your fucking ass he (and his friends) arnt leaving that damn theater till it's clean and he can see his phone, computer, sports and hobbies after fucking graduation. That is an embarrassment to their families and they need to be raised better. That would never fly under my fucking roof. That's the worst of it, most those boys were fully fucking adults when this happened. Sure there were a few 16 and 17 yrs olds but most of them were 18-23.

Don't give them any excuses. Theater etiquette is very fucking basic and everyone knows it. No one in their age range today, my age range, hasn't been to a theater a few times in their life. It's very fucking simple: sit down, be quiet, keep the area clean, throw your trash away at the end and be respectful of those around you. There's 30 minutes of screen time in that movie after that scene. Id play a tune on my tiny violin for them if they had to sit in that mess for the whole 30 mins but they got kicked out immediately after. Theater staff have to clean that up. Other people posted videos of themselves being in the theater during this time and the manager kicked them out too despite them not participating.

And would you look at that, white boy director is more worried about memories and fun than maturity, respect and staff workers. Fuck their memories, fuck their fun, you are perfectly capable of making fun memories without destroying a fucking theater, abusing staff workers, harassing other patrons, ruining movies in theaters next to you and abusing a chicken all for a fucking trend that is already dieing in the fucking water. The only reason he likes this is because all those destructive men are buying tickets and leaving joke reviews on every site and the only reason he excuses it and doesn't want the cops called is because they are white men like him, arrests at theaters due to this movie is bad publicity and he will never have to be the underpaid and overworked employee on their hands and knees scrubbing soda off the carpet. He's a fucking capitalist pig.

Last thing I'll mention, about the fucking reviews, every review site is fucking broken about the movie right now. Rotten tomatoes is broken rn and IMDB is especially broken because both verified and unverified accounts are flooding it with 10/10 reviews that only say "chicken jockey" and "flint and steel". And those are the memey ones but there's are also just Jokey ones or clearly fucking bots. When you look at the ratings, if it was actually a very very good movie, most of the audience would sit around the 10, 9 and 8 star quality with it slowly petering out the lower you got. A movie that's getting flooded with good reviews by bots/trolls but is genuinely only mid would have an abnormal number of 10s (cause it's "the best"), really no 9s or 8s (cause trolls wouldn't think to evenly spread the fake reviews. They arnt a united front.), most be in the true range of the movie like 7s, 6s, 5s and 4s, then peter out towards the bottom. I'll prove it.

The sawshank redemption is one of the/is the best rated movie on IMDB with a whopping 93% average. The Minecraft movie is averaging about a 40-60% between rotten tomatoes (6 average) and IMDb (4 average). It should be mentioned you have to be verified/signed in to rate on IMDb but anyone can rate on rotten tomatoes which may explain why the reviews lean higher like that. Easier to troll with no barrier to entry. On the left is the reviews for the sawshank redemption on IMDb, on the right are the reviews for the Minecraft movie on IMDb.

Hmm... ITS ALMOST LIKE THE REAL RATING IS 6/7 NOT 10. If a movie is unanimously good, the ratings will reflect that with a top heavy graph. The Minecraft movie has intensely inflated scores because trolls aren't rating it honestly and neither site is bothering to weed out the trolls to reflect an actual score. Idk why they arent, maybe cause it's warner bros or laziness, but this is why we should stop this bs now.

Been thinking about a few things about Wolfsong (apologies for any typo or incoherency, it's 3am and I reallt should be sleeping but alas):

Shapur's grief. The way he loves both Isfan and Arslan as his own, but knowing that without the deaths of the boys' respective parents he likely wouldn't have had the chance to claim them as his (especially Arslan), and while he wishes so hard that Aýnabat and Sâyezân could've survived, he knows that if they'd survived he would very likely have a different relationship with Arslan. In his eyes, getting to raise Arslan, getting to call him son, it's all such a privilege and joy but he was granted that privilege because Arslan's parents died. The same goes for Isfan, though it's slightly different. He mostly feels guilty that he didn't get to do enough for Golnar, and recognizes that Golnar should've had the chance to see Isfan grow up. “such terrible, terrible joy” and “how greedy I've become” are things I can imagine him thinking to himself?

No coherent thoughts except Arslan and Merlaine meeting in Wolfsong. A friendship blossoming. Maybe a brief meeting where they cooperated to save some village, then parted ways because Arslan was kinda on a timeline (smth Team Zahhak did to him?) and Hilmes gotta haul his ass to Gorgan so that Arslan won't die? But Merlaine makes his way to Gorgan later anyways bc Irina's looking for Hilmes... but how would that happen is thr wuestion

Okay I just speedran The Sunshine Court in like 12 hours. I will be rereading it soonly and giving more coherent thoughts but here’s my main takeaways:

- Thought #1: Holy fuck holy fuck holy fuck this book exists. I am on the floor I’m so fucking excited.

- I absolutely love that we get both Jean and Jeremy POVs. It’s great especially because Jean is an oblivious and traumatized and if we just see things through his eyes we would never get to see Jeremy PINING like an absolute icon. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s about the pining, the waiting, the yearning. I’m simple man, I like my books gay, angsty, and with tension you could cut with a knife. This delivers on all accounts.

- I love getting to see the end of tkm from Jean’s perspective. Getting to see him watch the Foxes v Ravens game was incredible. I’m a very big fan.

- Renee and Jean time! Renee giving Jean her cross necklace. I’m in tears, I’m dead, I’m on the floor. It’s not the right time for us 😭. Excuse me? I’m unwell.

- Kevin Day, queen of my heart! Getting to see how someone other than Neil canonically sees Kevin is an absolute treat for me. Jean’s weakness for beautiful men has become known. Me too Jean, me too.

- Jeremy, light of my life, I can’t believe you’re rich. At least your family sucks because I don’t think I could take it if your family was wealthy and nice.

- Jeremy + Jean meeting for the first time. Jeremy trying and failing to play with a yo-yo. I’d die for you. They are ADHD 🤝 Autism solidarity me thinks.

- Montana has a pro Exy team which is not at all plausible but I’ll let it slide because one Montana mention for the win and two the team is called the Rustics which is absolutely what we’d call a pro sports team if we had one. The only reason Montanan’s at large would commit to indoor lacrosse is that Kayleigh Day was Irish and so solidarity.

- Laila and Cat, my beloveds. The description of their apartment has me yearning for the same. They have a bay window with a window seat okay. That’s like in my top three desires for a home.

- Carboard cutout dog with a classic Nora pet name. I’ll love Mister B forever. I love how Jeremy keeps moving him around. I love how Jean hates it.

- Jeremy is so patient with Jean and I will forever love him for that.

- This book was a lot shorter time frame than I was expecting, mainly because I keep forgetting there’s going to be another one.

- The food control but is driving me crazy. It makes me so fucking mad. Let my boy eat. I want him to be happy.

- Jeremy has seen Jean looking 👀 ummmmmm hello? “More exclusively than you do, I think.” I’m on the floor.

Chariot: All around good boy with too big a heart and too big a mouth. He's so ride or die coded and he's so stupid but he's all heart. I love that he loves. He cares and he's so vocal about it. He had a huge dumb head about fame but it's all built on a foundation of love and dumb. NO filter and deserves 2/3s the whacks on the head he gets. But.. he is treated pretty foul sometimes. You're all idiots, he's just the only one who is brave enough to say it.

Justice: They could have written him a litttttllee better. I think he's great though, he's so fun.

Hermit: put some pants on, you're like 12.

Fortune: She's sweet! I like her! I don't love her tho, she's one of those auxiliary tarots. She's got some fun story integration tho, and ultimately her story is good.

Strength: I love them, actually. The game kinda gives them... an odd look, but they are fantastic. I love the animation where one of them kicks Ren into the Velvet Room. They're funny, I love their dynamic and I'm very interested to see what happens next.

Hanged Man: Surprisingly, I like him a lot. He's got a great story! I wish it wasn't locked behind such a huge stat requirement. His son needs a talk portrait tho.

Death: So wonderful, actually. She's so kind, and smart, and uuugh. holds her. I love how much she cares, even though she's got that dark attitude. Her story rings so true with the themes of the game. I know she has a route, but the whole time her taunting felt very "Im fucking with him"

Temperance: Hgh, I hate how good her perks are. It's really creepy, and I wish she was more openly done about the job around you. Even if her speech was deadpan or annoyed rather than customer servicey. I haven't gotten to her later stages yet, since other confidants are way more important, but of the adult women- she's.. kind of the worst as a position of authority, but the game brushes it off. I also kinda hate her attitude- ever since the beginning.

Devil: Yeah I was interested at first, but then the plot began and I noped out. I can tolerate temperance for the gameplay but this ain't it, buddy. The game straight up calls this out and treats it like a funny. Nope Nope Nope.

Tower: He's great actually, I love his lil' brother thing he has goin' on with Ren and how he fucks up but after talking with him, he gets it. He's a good kid, but he's got issues. the story with his mom is really interesting and the VA really sells him.

Star: I'm.. not sure how to feel about her yet. She seems nice. I'm not too deep in yet.

Moon: A great story actually, he might not be blorbo material for me but he's a really great character. He's got flaws, but he's got a good heart. I like how you don't steal his heart, but still have a heart-to-heart. Which is great for him. Real growth. Real good.

Sun: Surprisingly engaging! I reallllyyy liked it. Even when he texts you after the fact, he's still on your side. You really feel like he's firm on sticking to his own heart, and he's a great example of why the thieves do what they do and is a shining star (hey! wow!) and a solid pilliar of proof that people can change and that there are people who WANT change.

Judge: Not super sold on her, but she does well in her role. Apparently she was going to be your caretaker in the beta instead of Sojiro, which is a neat fact.

Faith: So far so good, I know she's royal exclusive, so we'll see where she goes. She's very pretty.

Councillor: He's really kind, but he's.. up to something. I'm very very interested to see what they do with him.

The way he loves both Isfan and Arslan as his own, but knowing that without the deaths of the boys' respective parents he likely wouldn't have had the chance to claim them as his (especially Arslan), and while he wishes so hard that Aýnabat and Sâyezân could've survived, he knows that if they'd survived he would very likely have a different relationship with Arslan. In his eyes, getting to raise Arslan, getting to call him son, it's all such a privilege and joy but he was granted that privilege because Arslan's parents died. The same goes for Isfan, though it's slightly different. He is a sensitive boy of 9 years old, he has autism and a few years ago he was bullied a lot at school and excluded a lot because no one understood him because of his autism, it is difficult for him to make friends and express his emotions. And suffered a school trauma because of it…

As being a parent and keeping our family running, we are also busy with Micka with his treatments and trajectory. To want and do the best for Micka..

And we are looking for him for a real friend who really understands him, and can understand him without words and support him, which is why. and that's a buddy dog.

Unfortunately after much research and enquiry, our great friend is not being reimbursed. everything has to be paid out of pocket. Especially children / people who need such a dear friend who understands them.

bob actually named himself after his dad. they are both Robert Floyd. ppl normally think its either spongebob, or the minion, or bob the builder for some reason. one person said robert pattinson from twilight specifically. bob didnt know how to feel (hes team jacob)

Ares is a feminist god that supports the Amazons.

Nico has chronic fatigue, ptsd, adhd, autism and depression.

Clovis isn’t the hc of his cabin because of his severe chronic fatigue. This is not a Hipnos thing.

Piper and Jason do not date, they kind of like each other but then if feels weird. 

Jason might have a thing with Leo.

Leo is autistic.

Nico became friend with Leo in Argo II because of their autistic traits.

Jason starts talking with Nico because of Leo.

Nico wasn’t outed by Cupid. Actually he had a nice conversation with him and Zephyrus about how he has support, he doesn’t need to be ashamed and his love is valid. 

That encourages Nico to come out to Hazel, Leo and Jason.
