“So do you have a girlfriend?” Kevin asks.

Aaron looks at him from the corner of his eyes, “No.”

“Are you gay?”

Aaron looks at Kevin with astonishment. They are still in fucking North Carolina. This is not the place to be asking if he’s gay. “No. I’m not. Why?”

“I was just surprised you don’t have a girlfriend. I was wondering if there was a reason.”

“I don’t currently have a girlfriend and I’m not gay. I don’t really see how it’s any of your business either way.” 

“It’s not. I was just curious. You seem like you’d be with someone.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Aaron huffs, annoyed at the implication that he’s somehow failing by not having a girlfriend.

“I just meant that you seem like the type of person people would want to be with.”

“Thanks? I guess.” He’s frowning now, annoyed at this weird line of questioning.

WIP Wednesday 1/15/25 | Andreil 5+1 Competency Kink

Matt hears Andrew and Neil quietly speaking back and forth in quiet Russian in the locker room before he goes to shower. Their tones are subtly heated, almost sounding like they’re fighting. Matt pushes the thought aside, no need to get involved when they clearly don’t want anyone overhearing them. In the shower, Matt turns up the water as hot as he can stand it. The spray of hot water slowly loosens his sore muscles, washing his aches down the drain with the soap. By the time he finishes, there’s only one shower stall still occupied. When Matt exits the locker room he finds an annoyed trio waiting in the lounge with Dan. 

“Neil and Andrew taking a long time?” he asks.

Kevin doesn’t respond, just sighs loudly and crosses his arms. Aaron barely acknowledges him from where he’s sat presumably texting Katelyn on his phone. 

“They always take so long after a hard practice,” Nicky complains. “You’d think Neil worked us enough to want to go home as soon as possible, but no. He and Andrew always take forever.”

Matt’s starting to put two and two together now. The pair taking so long after practice, all the Russian in the locker room, the single occupied shower. He gets it. They’re fucking. Goddamn it. Allison was right.

With the flush of desire lightly dusting his cheeks, Andrew watches Neil cross the court to him. 

In lightly toned Russian, Neil asks Andrew if he’d like to bend him over in the back of the Mas after practice or if he’d rather suck him off in the shower. Andrew asks him which one he’d prefer, just to see Neil flush under his helmet. He’s a little out of breath from speeding up and down the court after the ball, but his breath still catches with want. Andrew can imagine swallowing his cock down in the shower like he has so many times before, the salty taste of precum on his lips. He can imagine the smooth tan spread of Neil’s ass spread open before him like a meal he never imagined he’d be able to taste. He can imagine all of these and more, pulling from memory and daydreams both to lay out a full menu worth of options. He offers these up to Neil under his breath as Wymack calls a pause between scrimmages.

WIP Wednesday 1/15/25 | Andreil 5+1 Competency Kink

Matt and the rest of the backliners are panting by the time Wymack releases them from practice. Dan and Neil had pushed them hard today, running them through some difficult drills, several of which Neil and Kevin had developed together based on the Raven’s drills. Matt appreciates seeing the difference in the team from when he was a freshman to now as a senior. Aaron and Nicky were stronger than ever, both of them stepping up to help the freshman players improve practice by practice, day by day. He’s proud of the work they put in today, especially Neil. 

Neil and Andrew, had been conversing in Russian throughout practice, and were finally placed on the same team for their scrimmages. Together they made it impossible for Kevin’s team to score, much to his annoyance. They shouted back and forth in Russian, presumably watching each other’s backs and giving instructions. Neil had scored on Renee multiple times and had assisted the freshman striker in several scores of her own, before passing the ball down the court to Andrew. Matt assumed they must have been practicing this at night practice because Andrew heaved the ball right down the court towards Renee’s goal and right into Neil’s waiting racquet. He’d moved while everyone was distracted by his unorthodox serve and got right in Andrew’s line of fire. Matt allowed himself half a second to process the move the pair had just made before chasing after Neil.
