One thing I love about being Brazilian is our sayings! We have a lot of funny ones that badly translate into English so here are some of my favorites with examples of how to use them!

For going down all saints help (pra descer todo santo ajuda) - this is for when you go up a very long flight of stairs and are too lazy to go down so you just go "welp for going down all saints help" and start the long journey down the flight of stairs, or like when you go to one of those giant water slides and are scared some one might say that to you!

Take your poney out of the rain (tira o cavalinho da chuva) -for when you are really hyped about something not so good like if you say "I'm really excited about this new job" some one that already works there might say "go take your poney out of the rain, the boss is a bich"

Give your jumps (da seus pulo) - basically means, you put yourself in that situation you are getting out of it by yourself, example if you say "I can find the error in the code!" Someone might say "give your jumps buddy shouldn't have bitten more than you can chew"

Party rice (arroz de festa) - you use it when someone is always in the middle of party's or anything really, another use case is when a dog is really friendly you might say "oh buddy you are such a party rice"
