Just found out electric eels a) technically aren't eels, they're just fish that look like eels and b) swim in a special way that make them extremely fast swimmers (with average speeds of 62 mph)

So anyway, merperson au where the speedsters are electric eels

As a snapping turtle, Tito is an apex predator, so here a list of animals that Tito hunts and eats. (He eats more types of animals than real life snapping turtles.)

Ducks, geese, swans, fish, mice, rats, squirrels, snakes, rabbits, seagulls, raccoons, otters, and groundhogs are his usual prey. He has occasionally hunted lager prey like wolves, deer,large species of snakes like boas and pythons, and even bears, but that's only when he's in a feral hunger state and can't think straight.

There are a few animals Tito won't eat.

Turtles: He's not a cannibal.

Bugs: They're too small to satisfy his hunger.

Alligators: He's friends with an alligator.

Weasels: His best friend/boss is a weasel.

Foxes: He doesn't like the taste of foxes.

Porcupines/hedgehogs: They're covered in quils.

Skunks: He doesn't want to get sprayed.

Beavers: His brother is a beaver.

And Frogs: His sister in-law is a frog.

Most sharks are just big ocean puppies! I've always thought it was a little unfair how other apex predators like lions, wolves, and eagles are viewed as noble, powerful, beautiful, and majestic. But sharks are still far too often considered thoughtless killers (dead shark eyes), targeted man eaters (jaws did a lot for this continued misconception), and just largely scary.

Realistically sharks are just filling in the same ecological niche as those apex predators, except they're in the ocean. They're really no more dangerous than those other idolised predators, and they deserve the same grave and wonderment.

Just as we've seen people treat wolves, lions, ect with love and care in sanctuaries, there are people who lead dives to interact with friendly, habituated sharks. They've really been helping too de-villainise sharks, but it would be great to see more softness for them in the media.
